It’s funny that tmi is the only series they’ve tried to adapt (twice, unsuccessfully) because tmi is objectively the hardest series to capture. Everybody fails to grasp that the characters will literally refuse to behave by the standards of the genre in favor of treating everything like a comedy. If they tried any other series they would have markedly more success but they likely never will cause tmi scared them off
