it took a lot for taissa to open up to someone like this. the last person she expected to be telling about her feelings was jackie. but at this point, she was one of the only other people there who understood. she doesn't think they would have been this close if they wouldn't have crashed, there's no way that her pride would have allowed it. she softly smiles as she feels jackie's hands, clearing her throat as if that would suddenly push all of her fears away.

there was a reason why jackie was the captain of the soccer team, some people just had a gift of comforting other people. "i'm just worried that we aren't ever going to get out of here. do you really think they're still looking for us?" she places her hand on top of jackie's, nodding her head. "i think i need to get out of this cabin. it's suffocating, let's go."

@noendnobeginning Genesis tilted his head with a grin. "Well well, long time no see." Noe smiled, still towering over his partner while he greeted the team from another universe. "Good to see you both! We've missed you!"

Angel's long ears perk right up and big grin grows on their muzzle. "Gen!! Noe!!" the Eevee exclaims, bounding up to the both of them and nuzzling their furry little body against them in the closest thing they can manage to a hug.

"It's been forever!!"

Kenina approaches them as well, albeit without the same excited energy of their partner, but no less happy to see the pair, a warm and friendly smile on her face. "It's good to see you both, too," she says, "I hope you've been doing well."

The smaller Leader of the team backs up after a moment, still beaming with their tail swishing from side to side. "What have you two been up to??"

If my mom sees a significant amount of blood she gets lightheaded, and has fainted on some occasions. Once it happened when we were kids, I wasn't there to witness it but I heard the story from my dad. Basically my brothers, around 7 or 8 at the time, were playing outside while my mom was making their lunch, and she accidentally cut her finger. It wasn't anything serious, but it drew a fair bit of blood and she passed out. My dad saw this and rushed over, but he didn't really know what to do so he just sort of started slapping her to wake her up (not recommended, but he had no idea and panicked)

At that exact moment my brothers both came in from playing, and all they saw was our mom unconscious on the floor and our dad slapping her. So, like, without even saying a word to each other they both just INSTANTLY start whaling on him, like, full blown attack mode to defend our mom. Which obviously didn't help the situation, but she did wake up and everything was fine.

Now our dad says that he's actually really glad they attacked him over what they thought was going on, because it means he raised good boys. And I still think that's true, they're very good boys.
