To better understand black history and oppression and horrible things that happen every day. It's uncomfortable. Good. We should be uncomfortable if being comfortable means continuing this BS. As Emmanuel Acho says, "Let your guard down and listen." It's time to finally get uncomfortable and listen and address this. This movement has been happening for many many MANY years, and I'm glad it's finally becoming so public and "mainstream" to support. I'm so hopeful this will lead to a real, long term change. When I am anxious I often rehearse worst case scenarios. Coming from that place is paralyzing and often results in getting more anxious. 😭 Try rehearsing success.
