You know sometimes I think how upset Draupadi would be if she saw what is happening nowadays.
Like she was humiliated when she was dragged to a court full of men and when they attempted to strip her clothes away.
So we know that treating women like objects is not only happening in the kalyug men have been assholes from the very beginning.
But at least she was avenged, her honour was brought back to her by the means of the worlds biggest war non the less.
But now girls are raped and brutally murdered and they don't even get a fair trail and even if they do the rapists don't get the punishment they deserve.
So just imagine not just Draupadi but also every other women we pray to, be it Radha maa or Sita maa, who walked on earth before us, how upset and disgusted would they be if they saw this bullshit that is going on.

Tumblr media
Wrote a letter to my school teacher about joining an abroad programme. I really hope I get in as I honestly believe it would be life changing. this was a draft dw! didn't look this scruffy on the final one :P
Tumblr media
Cat shelter volunteering (I didn't get any photos of the shelter as I felt that would be inappropriate) this was on the way back though and I thought It looked magical. forever grateful for the scenery around me.
Tumblr media
Played around with my new keyboard. It's a Casio and I love it sm, it was gutted by my uncle and auntie from Switzerland. I partially learned Chemtrails Over The Country Club by Lana Del Rey.
Tumblr media
My friends birthday party!!! we did pottery painting and I got to paint a highland cow :D got ice cream (yum) and went to the park after.
Tumblr media
Started reading the Bhagavad Gita. For those who are not aware, the Bhagavad Gita is a Hindu epic scripture that is part of a larger collection of works known as the Mahabharata. The Mahabharata is a Sanskrit epic consisting of over 100,000 shloka (a form of long prose passage) fully forming in to about 1,800,000 (1.8 mil) words and is approximately ten times the length of the Iliad and the Odyssey combined. The length explains why most only read smaller portions such as the Bhagavad Gita which is in fact a poem! ok I could talk about this forever but I hope that someone learned something new from my spiel :P.
Other stuff I did
-Reorganised my note taking and filing system (I could make a whole post about that)
-looked through all my subject specifications to get a feel of how many topics were are (and sub topics... and sub sub topics :,) )
-painted a mini canvas for my friend (dw that wasn't the only thing I got for her birthday)
-did some sketching (my artistic ability comes in waves)
-played Roblox, idc If its childish SUE ME (I am undefeated in paintball 🥱)
-did my extracurriculars (Sangeet and Bengali)
-Celebrated Poyla Boishakh and Vhaisakhi
Goals for new term
-study at least an hour on weekdays
-ace my sangeet exam
-get >6 on everything
-plan for mocks accordingly
-stay consistent
-do assignments as soon as they are given
-have fun
..............................................................................................................................
Ok this was long but I feel as if I did my break justice, a lot went on and it would be wrong to not give details.
thank you so much for reading this long post
Signing off~

this is a bhagavad gita hateblog. i don't respect it, i have read parts of it in the original sanskrit as well but most of my reading comes from the hindi translation my grandmother had, i think its an arya samaj standard. obviously the worst thing is that its central notion of karm (english speakers this is the word karma to you i hate that transliteration) is inextricably tied up with the mahabharat's conceptualisation of caste hierarchy and duty to once's betters. what most people do is reduce what krishna says to arjun as some kind of exhortation to do difficult things in general by stripping the context of what he wants to arjun to do, fight a war and do warcrimes. this is so dishonest! krishna is the original warhawk. the background stories of the naughty baby krishna are actually meant to be pr to launder easily the second worst of the big canonical gods. no 1 remains ram. nobody else can match that asshole.

Why Studyblr?
Studying remotely, working remotely, and visiting the office twice a week is an isolated journey. I want to ensure I’m seeing my progress visually and can get feedback on my performance. This often builds self-efficacy because learning takes a tangible form.
What You’ll Find Here:
A mix of my raw thoughts, reflections, and study progress.
Daily check-ins on productivity. I often record my study hours and focused office hours where I’m working on some projects together because what I learn at work often helps me in my academic journey.
Insights into my academic journey and personal growth.
Occasional musings on philosophical ideas and life’s reflections.
I don't promote perfect schedules and manufactured productivity as humans are prone to make errors, and imperfection is a part of life.
Philosophy:
Inspired by the concept of Vairagya, I believe in taking actions that satisfy the soul rather than just the senses. Everything comes with a sense of duty and not for personal pursuits, as personal pursuits often gives rise to ego, attachment, and fears.
Connect:
Feel free to join me on this journey. Let’s learn and grow together!
PS: Let’s keep moving on the journey.

Found notes I took on a class about the Bhagavad Gita in college, and damn what a fucking trip. I remember it being taught by this middle aged white guy who excitedly would speak Hindi to indian students and stopped including me in conversations he would have with them about Hinduism back in India after he said something in Hindi to me and then I responded with "I'm Tamil I don't speak Hindi"
