I have a not-sure-if -this-counts-as-angst with fluff prompt. Willow has a nightmare, maybe the collector taking away all her loved ones, she wants to talk to Skara, but the last time she let it all out she nearly crushed everyone around her so she tries to handle it on our own, but Skara who knows something’s up with willow has none of it and insist on being there for her. (Yes I know she already went through this in FTF, but sometimes you need ti learn a lesson twice to remember it.)

This is an absolutely adorable idea, honestly. I'm a sucker for a good hurt-comfort story like this, especially when it's the one who's seen as less emotionally strong helping their too emotionally strong partner. It reminds me of a Skarlow idea I've had since the ITunes promo image leaked, actually:

Skara herself suffers from panic attacks over her time at New Hexside, and hates the scars on her cheeks she recieved because of it (let's say they were magically caused by the Collectors drones which is why Viney doesn't just heal them). Since the Collector's defeat, she uses a concealment stone to hide them so she wont be reminded of it. She never mentions it to anyone else either, worried they'll think she's weak for it. She knows it's stupid, but old habbits...

A few months later, after she and Willow start dating, they're at Skara's mansion home working on the Emerald Entrails favorite after game ritual: The Pillow Fight! The Emeralds (Willow and Skara) versus the Entrails (Gus and Hunter) versus Viney (who has the highest winrate of the three teams and has to be given handicaps in order to not just destroy both the other teams outright). Skara and Willow adorably plan an attack from Skara's bedroom to take the other teams out, and end up beating the Entrails before Viney comes out with a sneak attack, smacking Skara so hard her concealment stone breaks. Seeing her reflection, Skara panics, and rushes to the bathroom to try and put on makeup to hide them, trying and failing to assure her friends she's ok.

As Skara's shaking hands and memories stop her from properly applying the makeup, Willow knocks from outside to see if her girlfriend will let her in. Skara tries to reassure Willow before finally accepting her need for help, opening the door to her. Willow holds a crying Skara, caressing her hair as Skara rambles about everything's she's held in. When she's finished, Willow kisses her forehead and promises to be there for her whenever she needs to talk, ok? Skara slowly nods, and when they leave the bathroom, they cuddle together while the other Entrails quietly reassure Skara she's ok.

Cut to a few months later: Skara is still having these panic attacks, but now has Willow to call whenever they do happen. Willow makes it a point to always be there for her girlfriend, even if Skara needs her to fly over in the middle of the night. Still, Willow can't help but feel her own personal problems every so often. One night when cuddling with Skara after she calls her from a bad dream, Willow has one of her own, one that combines her guilt over living away from the BI during its most hellish period, her feelings of weakness at being powerless to stop it, and her fears of other Collectors coming to hurt her friends.

When she wakes up, groggy and still somewhat panicked, Willow see's Skara already up and dressed, smiling with a gift behind her back. Her girlfriend then holds out six tickets: two to a movie Willow's wanted to see for ages, two to a concert of one of Willow's favorite bands, and two for a romantic boat ride. She knows Willow isn't always happy with expensive surprise gifts, but she wants to treat Willow after everything she's done to help her. Willow, not wanting to worry Skara, agree's, and flys off home to prepare for the date.

Later that evening, Skara arrives at Willow's apartment to take her out, and Willow, in her finest dress (that Skara may or may not have internally bi panicked over seeing), walks out into Bonesburough with Skara. The two chat, but Willow's still suffering from her nightmares. As they walk, she see's reminders and triggers that cause her to start having a panic attack of her own, running from Skara to keep her safe.

As Skara finds Willow hiding out in the nearby forest, sobbing and trying to contain herself, Skara plays her a song to help calm her down. It doesn't stop Willow entirely, but she does calm down enough to let Skara hold her and confess what's been hurting her. As Willow begins to feel better, Skara kisses her forehead and tells Willow that she's always there for her, same as Willow has been. Willow doesn't need to always be the one comforting her. And while Willow wants to protest, she does agree with Skara that it is nice to have someone be there for her.

After Willow starts to feel better, she still feels exhausted from the panic attack itself. Skara sends the tickets to Amity, and fly's Willow to her apartment, where the two of them cuddle on the couch and watch dumb movies until they fall asleep, both grateful to have someone so caring in their lives.
