Hi! I'm rather new to the fandom, but I fell hard and far into the Eruri rabbit hole heh. I've been scrolling through your previous fic recs, and while there is hours upon hours of stuff to read there, there was one thing I really really want to read that I can't find much of.

I'm obsessed with the idea of fics where Levi is either missing or presumed dead. Both Levi or Erwin POV's are fine, the thing I'm mostly here for is the grief but also the happy ending and a reunion because I am weak lol

If that is difficult to find, do you have any fics where Levi is being badass and Erwin just admires him for it? Preferably not smut, or at least not smut heavy. I can't even find a BAMF tag for Levi :,)

Hello Anon, belated welcome to the Eruri fandom! I had to smile about their being no BAMF tag for Levi, I suspect that's because he's always a BAMF, so there's no need to tag for it! 😁

In terms of fics where Levi is missing or presumed dead, the one that immediately springs to mind is Audacity by @persisting. This is a fic from the early days of the fandom but it's still an absolute classic. No matter how often I read it, the scenes at the end kill me every time. I know I've definitely read other fics where Levi goes missing, but nothing specific is springing to mind right now, can anyone else suggest anything?

There are so many fics where Erwin admires Levi being a complete badass, but two of my favourites are The Blue by bowowline, and Irascible by bigasstrees and revai-lution. And then of course there's A Choice With No Regrets...

Levi is struggling and is about to break. Erwin seemingly has everything but is drowning in loneliness. They meet at midnight in Times Square on New Year's Eve and make a connection. The events that bring them together is beautifully written. The descriptions of Levi's thoughts and actions are realistic and tough to read. Ends on a hopeful note. Warnings of suicidal thoughts and attempt, mental health issues.

I have been home sick with the flu! It sucks, but I’m cuddling dogs for warmth and catching up on s1 of True Detective…which one of my all time favorite eruri fics is based on. It’s been fun to have that little side experience while watching.
