i dont usually mention Virtual Villagers. but back when i was on BigFishGames often id replay the games in the series over and over again with the 1 hour free trial a new account gets. (along with other games such as various hidden object series, Diner Dash, tasty planet, and other downloadable early 00s games). and BigFishGames' forum and LastDayOfWork's forums were the first forums id visit every day where id just lurk. it was a good time.

so im a big player of point and click hidden object casual games. idk think like bigfishgames and theres a test i have in every game i play.

Hello and welcome to Wandering Willows Archive!

This is a sideblog of @torchickentacos where I'm archiving everything I can of the game Wandering Willows. It was released by Playfirst (a now defunct company) in 2009, with most people finding it through BigFishGames (also dead). While some physical copies (disks) of the game remain, they're very hard to come by- not to mention the lack of disk drives on modern computers render many copies of the game useless.

But just because the game is incredibly hard to find and has been for some time does not mean it's not worth archiving. This game i sincredibly nostalgic, witty, and fun, with a whimsical art style and a lovely OST. My goal here is to preserve that. I'll upload screenshots, music, and info about characters and such, and my goal is to create a fully-fledged archive and guide of everything in the game! From the craft recipes (some of whicha re food, for which I'll add actual recipes!) to sewing to everything in between, if it's in the game it'll be here. This is a longer term project, as this game is actually incredibly full of things, but I intend to preserve it the best I can!

When I was playing around of my computer searching Snow Queen if there any special media twisted tales movies, book, tv shows, and games. I find the game I like called Dark Parables Rise of the Snow Queen. Reason it so good that Snow White is the Snow Queen. I continued buying Dark Parables are twisted princess mixed based Beauty and the Beast with Red Ridding Hood, Prince Frog has many wives princess and all families, and Cinderella with Pinocchio..... 

This movie the Huntsmen Winter’s War seen very amazing is also a twisted tales.

Anyone else grew up with those BigFishGames object finding games where you play a detective solving some supernatural (often surprisingly gory when it comes to the story) mystery? Not like the mobile games that everything is obvious, I’m talking the ones that are so obscurely hard sometimes that you have to go into forums and see if anyone else ever found it or solved the puzzle? 

Because I fucking did and I was punched with nostalgia the other day when on steam and found the entire pack of them on sale. Did I spend almost 100 dollars on this? Yes... yes I did. Do I regret it? No, I already beat one which took me about 12 hrs (spread across a few days) and it just has always been something I loved.

If you had not played them before and like that sort of gameplay look into the “Mystery Case Files” series. My personal favorite is Ravenhearst though a lot of them are really good.
