I couldn't find the author of "The spoils of war" on tumblr, so I'm sorry to hijack your ask but I think this might get to her this way: you're great girl!!! I love love love your AU because even though you have a love/lust story, you've given Hillary agency instead of making her passive and a victim! If you have the time and you like the idea, I would love to read from you a "Handmaid's tale" mashup because I've been thinking about a billary twist since the book/series and you'd do it justice.

Short answer is... I don't know right now, to be honest 😂

I haven't really talked about it on here (I don't think) but work has been crazy and stressful for the past month and a bit due to my department being short staffed and myself covering the extra clients until they hired more people. Anyway 2 new people are now hired and will start soon so once they are mostly trained and starting to settle in, hopefully my anxiety and mental health won't be so bad and I'll be in a better headspace for writing.

I have a long weekend this weekend because it's a civic holiday here but I had another crazy work week this past week so I am just using my time off to take a mental break to relax and take time to myself.

I miss writing even though it's only been a few days haha and have lots of ideas still that I want to write and share with you all so just give me a few days or weeks (like I said, I don't know how long I'll need a break from writing for) and hopefully I'll get some motivation and inspiration soon and be back to writing in the near future when I am in a better mental state than I have been in the last little while 😊

Miss you all and the community and can't wait to eventually come back! I'm down for sharing prompts, ideas and headcanons in the meantime if anyone is interested??

Do you find billary fanfics realistic? What is the most realistic fic you've ever read?

I love the AUs. I tried to read the realistic ones but either I don’t like the writing, or they are too brilliant and too realistic, and I end up too emotionally involved in something that probably never happened. I don’t like that. 

So yeah, gimme me all the AUs! 

I find it exciting and beautiful that two souls, when designated to be together can find each other again and again, in different times, and in different circumstances. 

and the most realistic of all the AUs? I am a sucker for the world of magic, so as for now Divine Conspiracy is my favorite. 

BTW, I highly recommend Chicago Finest.

Preview of Untitled Billary AU Fic

Hillary opened her eyes, dreading the sunlight which almost blinded her.

She began her sixteenth birthday on her bed, hating the sunlight and the chirps of the birds, which she usually liked. In fact, she hated that she even woke up to be sixteen. She envied the other children her age. They didn’t have to this way when they turned sixteen. In their world, when a boy or girl turned sixteen, they would be given a celebration to welcome them to adulthood. A small gathering or a dance would suffice. The guests would toast to newly hailed adult and he or she would drink their first cup of wine.

Yes, she would receive her own celebration. Grander and more extravagant that anyone in the kingdom would have. She would drink her first wine too; the finest one gold can buy. And the entire kingdom would be there toast to her adulthood, for her coming of age was a matter of political importance.

I know I am on hiaitus but I whipped this up yesterday to cheer up a friend. Will post a more complete synopsis soon. 😊

I was talking with another blogger and fic writer about this but I'm thinking of writing a Billary fic that would be an AU based off of Cinderella with Hillary as Cinderella and Bill as Prince Charming. I don't think that certain aspects of the Cinderella story fit Hillary very well so I would definitely change and modernize a few things but I thought it would be an interesting basis for a fic that I could roll with. Do you think anybody would want to read something like that?

One thing that immediately made me interested is that it's always her who is the upper class one so you've got me there, there's more factors that make people wanna read and keep reading but I think it's a good idea
