Soo...Bi visibility day, huh?

I'm aware it's today, and since I'm bi-ase, I would've drawn some art for it. But, honestly, I really don't feel like it.

Instead, I'm going to tell you this:

•Bisexuality isn't "just a phase." Actually, no sexuality is a phase. Orientation changes as we grow to learn more about ourselves. Some people use bisexuality as a stepping stone to other orientations. That's fine. That doesn't mean bisexual people aren't valid or don't exist. They are, and they do.

•Bisexuals in a straight passing relationship ARE STILL BISEXUAL. Just because they're dating someone of the opposite gender doesn't make their attraction to other genders go away.

•Not all bisexuals are polyamorous. Some are, some aren't. So don't go asking them if 'you can make a three-way.'

•Bisexuals AREN'T TRANSPHOBIC. Bisexuality is described as: 'anyone who is attracted romantically and/or sexually to more than one gender' INCLUDING trans and non-binary people. Bisexuality isn't restricted to a gender binary. If they're transphobic, it's not because of their orientation.

•Bisexuals AREN'T MORE LIKELY TO CHEAT. Just because we're attracted to other genders doesn't make us any more likely to cheat than anyone else is. Stop it.

•Anyone who tells you they identify as Bi DON'T OWE YOU ANYTHING. They don't have to 'prove' anything to you. Or to anyone.

And lastly, just because we're bi doesn't mean you're attractive /j
