21 January - Andrea treated for brain tumor and chemo

29 January - Harry shoots the watermelon sugar MV in Malibu. The director later says “The production process was fast! We shot in a location in Malibu. It was a private beach at this amazing house. Harry actually owns a watermelon farm in a secret location that we can’t disclose. So the day before the shoot we went with our whole crew, make-up artists, set decorators, focus pullers you name it! We all rolled up our sleeves, got stuck in and did the biggest harvest anyone in the USA has ever seen!”

31 January - Miss Americana documentary released.

2 February - Harry at Glenne Christiaansen's (Jeff's GF) birthday in Los Angeles. Huge whale cake that gets on his face.

3 February - Harry arrives London

14 February - Harry played Two Ghosts on Radio 2, the only time since 2018, anniversary of Style MV release. He also covered Joni Mitchell Big Yellow Taxi. Taylor also in London for NME awards, Joe goes with her. She says hello to every one there including Matty Healy. Harry is robbed at knifepoint.

18 February - Harry at Brit awards, went to same after party as Kendall

23 February - Harry's Tiny Desk Concert recorded in LA, the Lover CD Is in the background. Taylor was there in October.

24 February - Taylor and Joe in London for his birthday, arrived under umbrellas carrying a dictionary, Ed laughing.

26 February - Harry on today show in colour block cardigan. Xander watches with Jeff rumour he then visited Xander Ritz in phlli.

11 November - Harry films Valiant Roar scene in DWD, which includes Dita Von Teese who later repeats the Scene in the Bejeweled Music Video. Also described in Rolling Stone article with OW and possibly referred to in loml as valiant roar. HP Rec Fest, Day 29

Thank you @hprecfest for another “easy but not really” prompt lol post-canon is basically everything I read as EWE is my favorite HP tag/era. It was the easiest thing to find 2 gorgeous underrated gems to rec today. I love everything by these authors and actually considered these fics for yesterday’s post but then I realized I could use them for this prompt too, lucky me 🌝 very excited to check everyone else’s picks and find new reads for my weekend!

After a messy, public divorce and a disgraceful exit from the Auror Department, Harry is trying to rebuild his life as a private investigator. But when his ex-wife ends up in St. Mungo's, and Harry's tasked with finding her attacker, he'll have to confront the mistakes of his past, and rely on an old enemy, in order to get closure and move on, and incidentally, solve the case.

this is one of the first fics I’ve read on my return to the fandom in 2019 and I loved it so much it became a comfort fic for me. I remember being mindblown by sdk’s gorgeous writing, the kind that sucks you in within just a few paragraphs. apart from being an immersive case fic, the characterization hits all of my boxes. there’s no better way to describe Harry and Draco here if not intense; their chemistry in and outta bed is so electrifying I found myself salivating over this quiet, sexy and confident Draco who longs for Harry so beautifully. the setting, the plot, the pacing, the tension, the smut! the atmosphere is immaculate and mystery and romance come together seamlessly with a smooth storytelling. if you’re into mature fics with a cool twist at the end, this is the perfect treat for rainy days ☔️

this fic was my gateway into Scarry and I have such a soft spot for it! I haven’t read many fics where they’re both adults facing adult issues in an established relationship; being an age gap aficionado I found it really refreshing to see those type of struggles addressed here! this is almost 10k but it’s such a smooth read, dirty hot and lowkey angsty, as Harry and Scorpius navigate the increasing tension of keeping their relationship a secret. I adore Harry’s insistence at open communication, Scorpius’ cautious pining and the way they’re so into each other. the smut is scorching hot and intimate, rough shower sex and piss kink are much appreciated as always 💦 but have I mentioned the tender melancholy of it l? the stunning Mediterranean vibes? and gentle but possessive Harry? 🥵 very romantic and with a sweet hopeful ending, you can also check a tiny coda here!

SO, to have myself working, im giving yall a list of prompts to choose from if anyone wants to request something!

Story Prompts:

Yes, you used to be in love with a vampire, but you were just seventeen, and emotions were running high. You broke it off with him before you left for college, and although it was weird to go back to the real world, you knew it was the right thing to do. But then students at your college begin to go missing. Bodies are found on campus drained of blood. You've had enough when your roommate and your new boyfriend disappear. It's time to put on some garlic, grab a stake, and end this relationship. You just hope you can resist his irresistible charms.

Your life was uneventful until New Year's Eve, 2019, when a strange portal opened before you and a panicked figure ran out, claiming to be from the future. They said they wanted to save you from government agents from their time, who were about to travel here to kill you. They explained that, sometime in the future, you will create a technology rendering all other energy sources useless. You laughed, telling them you are a broke college student who eats ramen thrice daily. Before you could convince them they had the wrong person, another portal materialized.

A handsome stranger moves to your small town, and all the single women are desperate to impress them. As a shy bookworm, you work at the local library and read the classics. You are surprised when the newcomer frequents the library daily, reading old journals. The two of you bond over your love of books, and something different about him makes you fall for him. One day after they leave, you chance upon one of the books they have been reading, which details the town's history. You are a jewel thief trying to get out of the business, but you agree to take one last job before going straight. he married his high school sweetheart after graduation, and had Jessica at a very young age. they did love each other genuinely and Jessica had a good childhood, but as Luke's career continued to take unexpected directions and he began coping with alcohol, his wife divorced him and moved out once Jessica did at 18. though his relationship with his daughter was distant, she was Luke's pride and joy, and he decided to stay in antioch just in case she ever needed someone.

Luke considers himself (and wants to be) a children's author, but, inexplicably, all of his stories turn themselves into gritty, gore-fest, age inappropriate horror novellas. he's unsure when this happens and he's tried several times to catch himself in the act, but it's a force that cannot be observed. Luke hates his writing and is terrified of the content he creates, but he's semi-accomplished as a horror author, and begrudgingly sells his work to pay the bills. he's chalked it up to "just antioch weirdness... or seizures, maybe"

his daughter, Jessica Morgan, was the first known victim of the killer known locally as the Vampire of Antioch, and was found along a jogging trail in 2019. he spends his free time dogging local law enforcement and journalists, desperate for answers.

he takes fatherhood very seriously, and can't help his dad-ness even when dealing with strangers. he's been known to shovel snow for his younger neighbors, give out unwanted advice about grilling meat or dating, and struggle with technology or the "new thing".

Luke is a minimalist and nature enthusiast, and though he hasn't had a ton of time to devote to a green-thumb hobby, he enjoys sitting in nature, going on hikes, watching wildlife, or taking a mug of coffee out to a duck pond.

Celebrating my grandma's 89th birthday and most of the family is in one place for the first time in probably a decade.

So far my aunt has spent 4 hours attempting to update grandma's phone (she managed to get it from 2019 to late 2021 before it died), there was a twenty minute long discussion about cars (everyone verbally smacked down Teslas and the Cybertruck much to our father's dismay), a genuine debate on the legality of auxiliary lights in a residential area, the discovery of a balloon that was several years old and still somehow inflated, a slug bug slug fest at an Olive Garden, and only 3 of 15 people actually ate the birthday cake.

#my aunt was trying with growing histerics trying to get someone to take a piece of cake but no one is taking #nights still young things can still go weirder #unrelated but my aunt and uncle do not appreciate my marshmallow cheeseburger #don't ask you probably don't want to know #i wonder if i will even see half these people next year #twas interesting
