Mer-Ruffnut AU

Basically a crack fic where Ruffnut is a mermaid AU I used to act out as a child (about 8-10 years old lol)

She is actually like Tuff’s 4th cousin or something in this (cause drama happened) but her mermaid mum needed to protect her so sent her to Berk where Tuff’s parents agreed to take her in as their own. She was about 6 years old and got her memory erased. No one on Berk questioned it (maybe cause magic i guess) but years later she realises she isn’t from Berk and tries to find out where she’s from.

On the cool side she got a sickass mermaid reveal while in a battle and could control the seas and skies, glowing gold eyes and her hair floofs up. Picture the Ariel on the rock scene but she’s in the air with a bunch of water and storms and hair around her. She saves the gangs lives from some sea monster thing and then transforms into a mermaid and everyone is like ‘wow’ - also Kendall from Big Time Rush showed up, I think he had either a music talent or ore control (that could’ve been another character tho), and Percy Jackson helped her too.

(Disconnected but when I was maybe closer to 10 I added that she had been in an orphanage originally and there’s a plot where she stumbles upon that random orphanage….don’t know where I was going with that plot tbh.)

I also think later she like drowned Viggo or something when I started watching rtte.

I used to act this out on my trampoline or on the swing set or scooting up and down my driveway…now I pace around.

TLDR: Ruffnut is no ordinary girl, she’s from the deep blue underworld

Improvements over time

I thought I talk about it before but no, it was about the Doll & Maria's pendant with Katy. It allow me to think about it even more thank you!

Short answer: I guess it's probably a weird opal gem stone yeah.

Long answer: whatever I am going to explain below XD

But first little disclaimer: I can't be certain and completely sure what were the devs intentions about it. Which gems did they really wanted to put in it and if they even had a clear idea in mind to begin with. If they did, it's also possible they didn't represent the right gem correctly. And I could never blame them for that! They aren't geologist or mineralogist. They aren't geographers or historians. They are not architects either, they are video games developers! And besides that, they still try their best to be faithful to their inspirations and create such vivid and beautiful worlds! Beautiful locations and buildings, realistic weapons, armors, clothing (with bits of fantasy), realistic battle and moveset as well etc. They already do a crazy job for all of this so we can't blame devs in general for unrealistic map (I like trying to understand the video game map geography/geology) or minor details that aren't 100 percent realistic. Or in this case the accurate depiction of a minuscule gemstone. This is a fantastic video game who's a mixt of Dracula, brotherhood of the Wolf and Lovecraftian cosmic horror stories (& fishes). Not a documentary on the 19th century. But anyway.

So yeah I'm just gonna give my 2 cents about it and maybe make you learn cool stuff thanks to my studies in geology 👍

And even if it's not completely accurate the beautiful world of HEADCANONS is here!!! XD More seriously this post may be very useful for fanfic references for exemple! That would make a cool discussions between characters or even allowed to describe more little objects like those!

Now let's begin!

The Doll Tear Stone

"Silver-shining tear stone. Use to change into a droplet blood gem that fortifies any weapon. A doll sheds neither blood nor tears and thus its nature remains unknown. Whoever thinks this is precious must be troubled by severe naivete."

(Also can we appreciate how OP this gem is when it's your first playthrough?! Really a must have. Really worth it to go find the small hair ornament, and not just for lore.)

So it indeed look like an opal a bit. But there are other alternatives I considered as well! The first being the moonstone (or belmonite). They both are very similars, but they have different chemical formula. Also the moonstone is less rare and less expensive! It especially state in the description that the doll tear isn't precious at all. An opal is very precious and expensive in comparison.

I can't show many references in this but on the internet you might find various colours of both moonstones and opals! With some less or more transparent.

But the doll tears also have the particularity of refracting light and shining of differents colours too. (Or diffraction into a rainbow for crystal). Opal and moonstone both have this particularity as well (even if it shows more in opal for exemple). Those phenomenons are called adularescence (moonstone), opalescent (in opal), or iridescence (bubble, fuel, cd, some fossils).

I didn't really thought about the rocks meaning too. Everything alike to "stone healing properties" are similars to an horoscope /zodiac/astrology for me. But stones meaning as in flowers meaning is very interesting! And I'm not going to dev to much but i guess they all fit well!

Moonstone: Feminity, divine wisdom, moon, calm balance, protection, spiritual healing"

DID SOMEONE SAY HEALING?! what a coincidence 🤭 But I mean almost all stones have protection meaning XD But hey it fit well with Bloodborne themes, The moon presence, the fact that it's not precious etc

Now I also need to mention other not precious stones (very common) and crystals as well, even if they don't show rainbow colours:

Quartz is well quartz but many expensive minerals can be found among it. they are formed via hydrothermal fluids.

Calcite is still very basic it's the crystal version of limestone.

Halite is salt. And guess what's in the composition of tears... SODIUM CHLORIDE/ NACL! :D ... 💀 so I thought that maybe you know... is the doll tear could be made from that....

Me now: hm do you think the tear stone is salty? 🤔

Me from almost 3 years ago: WTF is wrong with you?!?!?!

(I swear it's a true identification method for calcite to lick it but hear me out! you break the stone first to have access to a part who was never expose to air! We were all shock our teachers did this...anyway)

It's not very clear what the Doll is even made off but if indeed her face is made of porcelain well I could consider kaolinite then. Porcelain is made from it so.

In the end like the description said "it's nature remain unknown" and because it might have an organic origins as well I guess it's just it's own thing, but it resemble something that already exists. Maybe something about the old blood or bc of some eldritch mysteries. Mixed with unknowns material to become a crystal that could exist. (So new minerals just drop?? let's go)

I'm not gonna pass too much time on that (or it's never gonna be over XD) but you see the bloodstone and blood gem stones found in the game? Well there's tons of those in bb universe but in real life it's not possible.( I mean blood clot are a thing but the ones in game seems like a weird mixt being that and a real mineral structure). I hypothesis or headcanons that it's produce because of something in the old blood. Something in the great ones. But can a parasite or microorganisms really do that hm 🤔? Something that made the blood crystalize in some conditions. That amalgamate some minerals or impurity that are in too much concentration...

Quicksilver bullet can be made of blood too and we know they are made from mercury most likely (and not silver but maybe silver too)....

So yeah it's my theory to explain the weird bb biology. Because even if they had BYRGENWERTH NO ONE IS EVER GOING TO EXPLAIN TO US HOW THIS WORLD WORK SCIENTIFICALLY (and magic) SPEAKING!!!!! AND WHAT DID THEY LEARN IN ALL THOSE RESEARCHES!!!!

Why do I have such crazy ideas you ask? Well if I want my headcanons/fic to be coherent I need to think of many things to make everything stick together. Like for exemple I need to theorise things about this ^so that one day Laurence can explain to the gang WHY A GIANT MUTATED DOG IS ON FIRE AND VOMIT LAVA SOMEHOW MAKE SENSE!!!!!

YES I HAVE AN HC FOR THIS AND FIRE BLOOD MAGIC!!!! Of course it's fantasy, it's sci-fie not everything have an answer. But I cannot just say "it's magic shut up" x)

Hm let's have a lil pause before looking in the Doll's and Maria's pendant now.

Mini geology class interlude or how stones, minerals & gems are made:

About crystallization:

"Crystallization is a process that leads to solids with highly organized atoms or molecules, = a crystal. The ordered nature of a crystalline solid can be contrasted with amorphous solids in which atoms or molecules lack regular organization."

There's tons of things that can be crystal for ex water when you freeze it or salt: If you put salt in the water, it dissolve. If you heat the water and evaporate it, salt crystals are going to appear. For minerals, the longer it's exposed to heat and pression (underground) the bigger the crystals are going to be!

For exemple when lava burst out and grew colder and solid, crystals aren't visible or non existent bc the processes is very fast. That's the pitch black stone with tons of holes in it, basalt. But when the magma take thousand or millions of year to cool down the crystals are way bigger! Then erosion allowed us to discover them (like granite, gabbro or peridotite).

Of course these is for magmatic stones but the process is similar yet different for the gem we talked about, Quartz and even metals like gold who are made from Silice & found in sedimentary stones.

They are formed via hydrothermal fluids:

To put it very simply: the water get trap in the earth, get charged in lot of minerals on it's way + heat, get stuck at one place, evaporate and left behind all the minerals who become solid and amalgamate together, it crystallize and boom. You got lil crystals if not giant ore deposit.

For the geodes it's a similar processus; the water get trapped, dissolve minerals then it cristalize in the space it have;

So for Opal it's basically like this:

the best Opals are found Australia bc of the arid climate. Moonstones are made from granite mainly so it's found in lots more places.

So...do you realise how much warmth the Doll might have feel from the hair ornament to create such a beautiful crystal?! Wow it's incredible. (I am so sorry this is a joke ok ?! 😂😭 But am I wrong?!)

Ok now let's get back to business. After thinking about the tear it sparks new ideas about Maria and the Doll's pendant. I couldn't identified them before but I might be into something.

Maria's pendant

Alright what about Maria's shiny, greenish pendants?

Well it's complicated. It's very shiny compared to the little others. It seems green too. Maria's and the Doll's one seems to alternate between silver and green depending the light or concept art or clothing descriptions. It's a mess... But at least it's based on real gem right? (If they are depicted correctly of course it can still be a mistake as well) but let's say Maria's a green one and the doll's is silver.

Well a green opal doesn't look like this 🤔 Even worst for a green moonstone.

An emerald don't look like this either they had clear marking and I don't see Maria just walking around j-hunting with a HUGE emerald that would belong to a queen or king and that cost more than the entire grand cathedral XD

I got a crazy idea at some point... maybe not about the big pendant after reconsidering it but at least the little one on her attire. What if... ok hear me out,

WHAT IF IT'S A BLOODSTONE?!

No not the one in the game! Those!

Also called heliotrope. It's a variety of chalcedony (same formula as quartz SIO2)+ red jasper spots or hematite (iron)

But they are some who are almost entirely green LOOK.

And that would fit with al the themes and stuff!?

But it's still very dark and not really shiny and while doing research I found Chrysoprase or green jasper.

The same stone can very different how it's polished too. So did the devs had a precise idea for smt or just made a pretty gemstone and didn't thought about making it too accurate to smt real? We'll never know... I know it doesn' look quite the same but I am proposing a few ideas here and I hope it could help and spark inspiration for someone! So instead of just giant it's a big green gemstone we can be more precise within fiction and let our creativity grow!

The doll's pendant

The doll pendant now. Well while doing the research for the tear stone I thought that the moonstone would fit so well for the doll pendant! Until I remembered that it basically act like a mirror 💀(and we can see the alpha ver of the hunter dream). So it can only be made from something metallic right?

So if you want to be poetic sure Moonstone will be nice. BUT I remembered thinking about another idea a huge while ago and I think it could be it! Perhaps this pendant is artificially made and is indeed a kind of mirror!

Ok hear me out x2. Gehrman made the Doll and her outfits right? Well he probably made the pendant by himself too.

So if you didn't knew mirrors are made from glass with a layer of silver pr aluminium. Then a layer of cooper or lead. In the 1800s they were made from tin and MERCURY! (mercury again our beloved).

Gehrman made weapons. Out of iron and other metallic minerals right? BRO MADE A SCYTE OUT OF SIDERITE hello!!! He made the doll clothes too isn't he? Pretty sure it would have been easy for him to make a little shiny metallic pendant who's almost like a mirror...(maybe I am not crazy in my hc that he might have made the hair ornament too let's goooo). Problem solve!

alright, i know i dont usually write or post anything on here myself but i feel like ranting. I am like actually so sick of the „bimbo, ditzy, airhead, coquette pink princess sabrina carpenter” reader everytime i wanna read a fanfic. Like why is it that every time its a fanfic for lets say rafe cameron the hashtags are ALLL filled with THAT type of reader? Every time i wanna read a fanfic, not even focusing on a character, majority of those fanfics have THAT type if reader. And dont write in the comments and say that it probably pops up because i like it and its the algorithm. NO. I genuinely just have to dig far far down to find a fanfic that doesnt have that kind of reader.

And dont get me wrong, i have nothing againt the pink, feminine bimbo aeshtetic. I have oc’s with that aeshtetic and style, but they’re more like emma moreau from H2O or barbie. She’s confident, she’s barbie. They’re confident but they also have standards and they’re smart and barbie acts like a grown ass woman, not a child. I dont like sabrina carpenter because of the fact she wants to appeal for how small she looks. Like her lyrics „look like a niña” and lolita photoshoot are fucking wierd.

Theres nothing wrong with being feminine, but why every time a character is feminine she has to be watered down to a pink loving ditzy airhead bimbo who never stands up for herself and lets guys treat her like shit and everytime she does something bad its „im just a girl!”? Why cant she have a personality that doesnt rely on the characteristics of a child like personality? Why cant she have a soul and have a brain? If a woman if feminine does that mean she cant have a brain or a soul, is being feminine weak? Because thats how i think those authors see it, as weak. That everytime a woman if feminine, she’s weak and she’s dumb and she has to rely on a man and she cant do anything for herself. I get that women like the security of their partner but you have to stand up for yourself too. You cant rely on a man for everything all the time dumbass.

Feminine readers shouldnt be written as airheads who are weak and „so smol” that the man can just pick them up and throw them around and they cant do anything themselves because they’re „so short and so smol” and they always need the help of the man. Feminine reader should be smart, should be confident and should be able to do things herself rather than acting like a child relying on its parent. And everytime that there’s a fanfic with that reader, it’s always fucked up like „rough dom” „dubcon” „rough” and she always acts like a child. Isnt that a little wierd to anyone else? That she acts like a child and the guy is always rough and super dominant and borderline abusive? It feels pedophilic everytime i read it and it makes me cringe in my seat. Not cringe in the internet sense but actually cringe like my face twists in disgust and i twist in my seat and i tap off the fanfic.

I blame sabrina carpenter and the coquette shit. Also def listen to the song „stupid girls” by P!nk. I dont really like her music but i feel like it relates to my post. Now do i think she used to the right language to portray her point? No. But if you go to the comments of the video, you’ll see what her point is. That instead of being themselves, women act like airheads and childlike for male validation. For the male gaze.

Out of the trio Cleo was the one most reluctant to accepting that she was a mermaid, and who can blame her? That’s a lot of tail to get used to.

She works at a marine life institute and has shown her love for marine life multiple times. Also this scene in particular, dressing up as specifically a “Portuguese Man O’War” and then having to explain that it’s a kind of jellyfish, autistic mood.

Welcome back to this side of the Hundred Acre Woods, and we’re back back back again with another Transformers writing. I was just randomly hanging out in my college’s LGBTQ+ space, eating my Hot Cheetos and enjoying the H2O in my Hello Kitty hydro, when I began to have thoughts about Earthspark again. If you know me by now, you know that I adore Transformers Earthspark. Easy 9/10, among the top five best Transformers shows if all well goes according to plan. Like Cyberverse, it aims to subvert the Transformers formula through putting a fresh new coat of paint onto various Transformers tropes as well as bringing new and interesting characters and concepts to the table. When it comes to the former aspect of Earthspark, there is one trope that is not only brilliantly deconstructed, but is also treated with the respect and grace it should have from the beginning. As to what this trope is, let’s start with everyone’s favorite evil twink girlfailure: Starscream.

So…

The 21st century has not been kind to our skrunkly king. Sure, from the beginning, he is designed to be the ultimate girlfailure of Transformers. He’s cunning and sneaky, but his plans go easily astray because of his arrogance and ego getting in the way. It also doesn’t help that he’s often Megatron’s favorite punching bag whenever his plans to overthrow him go wrong. It’s a pure hate filled relationship that is dark comedy galore…if you approach it with the right angle. Part of the reason why TFA Starscream’s hate relationship with Megatron works is that Starscream doesn’t take Megatron’s crap at all. He will fight back, and it feels right whenever he has the upper hand over ol buckethead. Sure, their relationship is quite odd when you think about it. However, their dynamic is compelling as well as being like I said, dark comedy galore.

Then, Transformers Prime came in and proceeded to make it all so horribly wrong. Like I mentioned in my TFP essay, TFP Starscream deserves so much fucking better. Megatron’s treatment of him is just downright despicable. True, Screamer ain’t no saint and he only has himself to blame for his flaws and behavior. But…I’m sorry, the way Megatron speaks to him and how he gets so physically aggressive towards him is neither funny nor justified. It’s uncomfortable to see him reduce Starscream to a whimpering and fearful mess whenever the latter fucks up royally. Is this really what the showrunners think is good for the audience at home? Even if you see nothing wrong with it, you cannot deny how depressing it feels whenever Starscream and Megatron are on screen together. By having Screamer be the countless target of abuse throughout the show, it only made me want to help him leave the Decepticons for good.

It also doesn’t help that in RID 2015, Starscream’s vendetta against Megatron is portrayed in a negative light. Nah, fuck this shit. HE DOESN’T OWE FUCKING SHIT TO MEGATRON. He has every right to feel angry and hurt at how Megatron treated him throughout Transformers Prime. Hell, this is why I hate Megatron’s redemption arc in Predacons Rising so fucking much. He was never held accountable for how he treated his second in command, and for that, I only wish the uttermost hell for him. Fuck TFP Megatron. Fucking shark douchebag. 

Same for Transformers Cyberverse. Like I love you, queen, but how Starscream is treated in that show ain’t it. I’ve talked about this aspect in depth in my Cyberverse retrospective video, so feel free to check that out here. 

In a nutshell, there’s an uncomfortable trend of Transformers shows that straight up treats Megatron’s treatment of Starscream with only a slap on the wrist. Like, how does any normal person find any of this acceptable? Just…AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

However…then, something miraculous happened in Earthspark. Something that manages to deconstruct this trope on its head by straight up telling the audience: “Nah, we’re not gonna do that treating Megatron abusing Starscream as a joke bullshit. We’re gonna be 100% honest with y’all.”

For context, Transformers Earthspark takes place after the Great War is over. Megatron became a good guy again and Transformers on Earth is a part of everyday life. However, for the Decepticons, many feel very salty about Megatron turning good and becoming mischievous gremlins. This resulted in G.H.O.S.T. imprisoning them in cells, including Starscream. Eventually, in the episode, “What Dwells Within,” Starscream and the Seeker lesbians broke out of prison and went on the run in some catacombs. The Malto kids also got trapped in here, and they had to teamup to escape the caves and a vore monster. When Starscream is being Starscream while trying to escape the vore monster, Twitch and Thrash bring up his flaws and believe that he should go back to Megatron, since they spend time with old buckethead and see him as the changed man we see here. However…then this bombshell drops:

Twitch: “Yeah, you should go back to following Megatron. He wouldn't leave anyone behind like that!" Starscream: “Oh, naïve child. Is locking Decepticons in prison while he walks free not "leaving us behind"? You don't know the real Megatron, the ruthless tyrant who ruled over us with fear and intimidation."

While the others were distracted by the monster’s growls, we see Hashtag’s expression. Just, the way her entire perspective has changed when Starscream brought up the man Megatron used to be. Mmmmm, LAYERS. A few more monster shenanigans happen and the two of them get stuck together in the control hub. Up to this point, we see how much Megatron’s treatment of him has affected Starscream deeply. Even after being technically free of him…he still remembers that awful time in his life. It also doesn’t help that he is The Starscream, the skrunkly backstabbing mean girl whose entire life goal is to be the leader of the Decepticons. He was never taken seriously and the universe determines that he will not succeed. I highly recommend Comodin Cam’s video on the topic about this if you wanna get into the details. Bottom line is that Starscream doesn’t have the best luck in being himself.

Back to the control hub, it seems like there was gonna be a discussion of Starscream being Starscream. However, to Starscream’s surprise, Hashtag believes him. When she called him out for trying to save his own skin while everyone else is gonna die because of the vore monster, she asks him this question:

“When bad things happen, it isn’t always our fault.”

Since July, I’ve struggled to convey my thoughts about this moment in the episode, especially as someone who has been in Starscream’s place at one point in my life. In Hashtag believing him and being ready to listen to him had the monster not acted a fool, Starscream’s pain and trauma has been validated. For the first in his life, he’s not treated as a joke. Someone realized that he was a victim of abuse and recognizes his feelings, not talking down to him nor trying to argue against it. Hashtag is a young child, but even she recognizes that what Megatron did to Starscream is not okay at all. This resulted in her gaining his trust and loyalty and she even told off Megatron when the latter and Starscream were ready to duke it out. Eventually, the day is saved and both Screamer and the Seeker girlies venture off into the unknown. But before that, he rejected Megatron’s offer of safety and yeah…after a long time of being Megatron’s chew toy, he doesn’t owe shit to Megatron. He has every right to not trust him again, and even though we saw Megatron changing for the better in Earthspark, he has indeed hurt a lot of people. 

Honestly, the bond Hashtag formed with Starscream and how the episode treated Starscream’s trauma with the grace and respect it deserves is a great lesson for kids to learn when it comes to helping out a friend who is in Starscream’s shoes. Hell, it could even teach kids to recognize the signs of abuse in their own homes and seek out the help they need. That’s what I love about Transformers shows like Earthspark: it recognizes that the audience is smart enough to pick up on the clues and details as well as entertaining them.

Transformers Earthspark aims to fix what shows like Transformers Prime has started, and it’s only fitting to have Steve Blum as Starscream here, as if its own way of saying, “We know, folks. Starscream deserves better.”

Conclusion: It's never the victim's fault.

If anything, Earthspark manages to excel in ways that many Transformers shows wishes they can do, especially those in the 2010s. It treats Starscream’s trauma from being The Starscream with the gravity and care it needs, and I appreciate it all the more as time goes on. I highly recommend that y’all watch this show. It has a complex story, likable and enduring characters, great animation, and it breathes new life in Transformers. Most importantly of all, it gave Starscream the justice he deserves, and I hope it stays that way with this incredible show.

Thoughts on Sophie (h2o)?

Fair enough...

The very first time I registered Sophie, I knew she was trouble. Not the "in your face" way they did compare to...Zane, Nate, Miriam and Charlotte (they double-down on her) in their initial introduction. In fact, I'll give the producers props for keeping it low-key and waiting 6 episodes to introduce her as his older sister after letting Bella believe she might be a love rival for Will (fun fact, Luke is actually older than Taryn!). Short, simple, unassuming - how did I know she was a threat? Because of the TV show needing one while there was a bigger problem. As far as things go, I wasn't phased by the overprotectiveness, suspicion, or pushiness as bad as most phases do because of the need for a villainess. The only cringe thing was trying to get with Zane and the fact she clearly missed that Will didn't want to freedive anymore. So, it's actually quite telling if you have that detonation of Zane Bennett that she only JUST avoided finding out about mermaids and only about the moon crystals until Big Brother Ultimatum brings her greed to heel, and then all is well at graduation...as if forgetting that she's 50% of the reason the moon pool no longer worked (30% if you remember Cleo shares blame bringing a magic moon rock to a geologist!)

But that was my opinion as a teen. She was an unimpressive secondary antagonist with few redeeming qualities but only the moon pool was worth getting pissed at her for. And I stan Charlotte, the antagonist everyone loves to hate but when the girls pushed the creation of her villain arc! Not to mention, I also can't stand Will Benjamin.

As a near 25-year-old, and currently working on a story starring her, I'm basically forced to rewatch and rediscover her character and honestly - I'm finding a lot of holes and my writer's brain just can't follow with good conscience. Going back, I'm realizing that her unimpressive antagonist angle bothered me because we don't have a backstory on the Benjamins - she's a 20-something college student raising a diving athlete for a brother, how did that happen and how are bills being paid? - or on why she pushes Will so hard - I'm looking for details on what she gains with his success or why she's even coaching him - and I'm just omitting her thing for Zane because she likely gathered he's rich and just CRINGE! Like, I get complex characters, but she's so messy on a lot of things the fact she actually cared about Will is a redeeming quality that feels we know that's all she's got going for her. And somewhere in the process, I started to sympathize with her. My own twenties haven't been going to plan and I also am currently in the middle of a codependent relationship with a family guardian. And I can't deny that if you remove the magic hijinx, Sophie is basically watching this incredibly beautiful girl distract Will from his athletic career and acts like she knows him better (just putting this here: I like Bella, but I think both her and Sophie misjudged each other!) while constantly trying to find sponsors because diving gear ain't cheap - I looked at the prices! In my character building for my story, it didn't take a lot to reimagine her as a former sports competitor that had to bow out and is vicariously living through her brother and that there may be money troubles ahead she's shielding from Will. The twenties are supposed to be the more self-exploritory years until the real adult years hit and we've both had to forgo that for someone else's benefit. It ain't pretty or nice, but that's how life is. And to be honest, I wouldn't blame Sophie for feeling betrayed enough to keep a moon crystal to sell because there's what we know as the viewer and what Sophie the Character knows - so she's kinda screwed over without any real reason why, regardless if it's for the better, and left to accept things as is.

And to a teenager, that might seem like a good ending. But as someone halfway through their twenties, not so much. Even if I can't completely root or condone Sophie's character - as sure as can say there's a lot of potential in the idea of her that I just can't write off as her designated ending.

it will ALWAYS be p5 akechi palace fic "as you like it" which i have been pouring my heart and soul into for years <3 the planning doc for this fic is so god damn long and so much of it is just me planning out what this palace would look and play like if it were a playable palace in the game. i even went so far as to start writing a palace theme for it based on akechi's leitmotif in the anime, like... just for funsies (sorry it's an incomplete phone recording). anyway heres some of it
