“You’re mine, you know?”
“You’re insufferable, you know?”
A laugh, deep and raspy, filled the space between them as his head fell back in surprise. Though, the fingers digging like claws into the skin of her waist betrayed his irritation.
He brought his face to her own, smile turning razor sharp; that ever present glint in his eyes, while entertained, sparked with a dare she was too stubborn to ignore, no matter the ensuing consequences.
“Pretty pretty Bird,” His tongue poked out from his canines, swiping up to lick the tip of her nose, “I’m going to fucking ruin you.”
Rather than recoil in disgust, she leaned closer, fingers threading in his golden locks, “Selfish, mindless, animal,” Each word enunciated with a sharp tug, “Ruin all you like,” Her lips brushed against his ear, and she was met with a pleasured groan, “I’ll ruin you right back.”
“Fuck,” His hips bucked upwards, his clothed hardness grinding against her in a failed attempt to soothe the growing ache, “You promise?”
It was her turn to laugh; it was sharp and spiteful, and she leaned back on his lap to meet his eyes, hands falling to his face to trace the sharp curve of his jaw in resigned admiration, “What makes you think you’ll like it?”
His own hands trailed from her waist to squeeze at the fat of her thighs, fingers sinking like talons as they spread her further, pulling her into him.
“Oh, my pretty Bird,” A hand moved to brush under her shirt, ghosting against the skin, and bringing goosebumps to the surface, “If it’s you,” Dextrous, devious fingers worked their way underneath her bra, “I’ll love it.”
Despite her resolve, a whimper escaped her lips, and the predator under her pounced, shoving her back onto the mattress below them.
Blood red wings spread behind him, and eyes glowing with the celebration of premature victory, he looked like some harbinger of death, beautiful in all his glory, but come to rip her to shreds, and feast on her insides with that golden smile.
She wasn’t far off, she realized bitterly. Though, her chance at revenge came sooner than anticipated when he dove forward, shoving his tongue past her parted lips, licking the taste of her mouth from inside while he tore at her clothes.
And, steeling her nerves, she bit down, teeth tearing into the intruder, replacing the taste of spit with syrupy copper. Her reward came in the form of a strangled groan as he ripped himself from her.
“Fuck—!” A curse, low and raspy with the interruption of dribbling blood.
The sight before her was enough to send her heart leaping to her throat, embers of satisfaction dying as quickly as they lit. If he had looked like a harbinger of death before, now, with the back of his hand swiping crimson to smear across his cheek, feathers puffed and poised to attack, and hair falling to shadow his eyes, the man above her was a type of demon king she tried to force herself not to regret awakening.
He spat to the side, blood dripping from his lips, and turned back to her with a smile more sinister and sharp than she thought him capable of showing. Slowly, he pulled at his own shirt to reveal a body too sculpted and too pretty to belong to him.
“Caged Bird has teeth, does she?” He breathed, “It’s a dangerous game you’re playing, baby.”
“The only game I’m interested in,” She growled, “Is one where you lose.”
She had already scanned the room when she’d woken up dizzy and groggy and surrounded by a space all too familiar but not her own. He hadn’t even bothered with chains. Cocky bastard. There was no place to go where he couldn’t follow, but she’d be damned if she just laid there and took it.
She held her breath, and the pause between them was interrupted by a low, building chuckle that raised in volume and pitch until he fell forward in a fit of giggles underlaid with a twisted and angry amusement.
Lifting his gaze to hers, she found his eyes burning through her with the giddy anticipation of a hawk playing with its food. The condescension was enough to stroke her own need to fight, and she forced a sardonic smile despite her growing unease.
“What? Too much?” Swollen lips pulling into a sneer, “I thought you said you’d love it if I ruined you.”
He snorted, eyes moving to sweep across her body: fabric hanging in threads from her skin, lacey undergarments serving as her only decoration, traces of his blood smearing her lips, and tears that pooled at the corners of her eyes. Too stubborn to give him the satisfaction of falling. God, did he love this woman.
“Between the two of us, little Bird,” He leaned forward, taking her jaw in a bruising grip, and forced her gaze to his own, “I’d say you’re plenty ruined yourself.”
There was a twitch in her brow that sated his ego, and he pushed forward to give her a peck, retreating with the quickness of a man who had learned his lesson. For now, he reminded himself.
“Though,” Still, he couldn’t help but push, “Not nearly ruined enough.”
And he surged forward, taking her throat in one hand, and forced her backwards into the pillow; her legs flailed while her hands shot up to claw at his own. It was time to give her a little lesson of his own.
He settled himself between her thighs, ripping the last of her coverings to leave her bare and thrashing. Her heels kicked at his back, lips parting in short, sharp gasps.
“Fuck–fucking–” A strangled whine, “Bast–bastard–”
“Come on now, Birdie,” He leaned forward, fingers flexing, “If you don’t have anything nice to say,” Nose to nose, his canines gleaming, “You don’t say anything at all.”
With the twitch of her jaw, she pursed her lips, refusing to consider the consequences, and sent a glob of spit flying right at his face, watching with glee as it splattered under his eye.
He jerked back in surprise, releasing her neck to swipe at the offended cheek. Through a fit of raspy coughs, her chest sparked with a sort of vindicated satisfaction.
Her victory was short lived, however, and a burning smack echoed in the empty space, whipping her face sideways, a ringing in her ears growing to match her blurring vision. The strength of a hero, she thought sarcastically.
It was her turn to spit out blood, before her eyes rolled back to him, angry, but cautious. His fingers worked at his belt buckle, and he shirked off his pants in her momentary incapacitation, entirely unbothered by his own sudden show of violence.
She did her best to avoid looking at the monster between his legs, and, like any sign of weakness, he seized the opportunity to mock her.
“Fight all you like, pretty Bird,” A hand was back on her throat, tight, but not squeezing, “But you and I both know this only ends one way.”
She knew she was only delaying the inevitable, but the ache of bruised pride burning in her chest insisted on hurting him back. Hurting him more than he would ever hurt her. Because he would hurt her.
Her hands moved back to his chest, pushing as he wrenched her thighs apart, “Fucking villain,” She’d lost her appetite for this game of theirs, opting instead to let her acidic resentment pour outwards, “Get off.” After all, words were her only true defense.
In a flash his free hand took hold of one frantic wrist, “Villain? I can be a villain,” His face twitched in irritation, and her bones screamed under the force of his fingers, “Keep pushing, and I’ll break it.”
The sudden flip had her hands falling limp, retreating in shock once he released her wrist, and balling into fists beside her head. And as fast as it came, the darkness left him, only that treacherous smugness remaining.
She cursed herself for her fear, put off by the unpredictability of his own emotional landmines. But still, she squared her face back to a disdained neutral, unwilling to show more weakness than he’d already sniffed out.
He pumped at his length, positioning it at her entrance. She was damp, but not nearly prepared enough for the size of him, and he hummed, fingers dipping down to toy at her clit, sending her hips jolting upwards in regretful anticipation.
“Say something nice, baby,” He breathed lazily, “Say something nice, and I’ll make you feel good, too.”
There was a beat as they stared at each other, “I…” She whispered, a growing conflict in her eyes. He leaned down, lips brushing against her own.
“Yeah?” His hot breath spread across her cheeks, “C’mon Birdie, I wanna hear something pretty come from that filthy mouth of yours.”
They were nose to nose, golden eyes piercing into her own, each pair glowing with emotions too loud to speak, “I,” Breathy and wanton, “Would,”
“Yeah? You’d what?”
“Rather fucking die.”
For the hundredth time that night he was taken aback, incredulous laughter his only response as he pulled away from her, eyes snapping back to her own with a promise he’d been eager to fulfill.
“Suit yourself,” And he shoved inside.
A yelp, surprised and pained, “Fuck–!”
He was only halfway in, and rather than let her adjust, he sunk his nails into her thighs as leverage, and forced himself further. She whined in pain, a coat of crimson serving as response around his pulsing length, and he moved to trap her hands in his own, fingers intertwined.
“Tight like a virgin, huh, little Bird?” Once fully sheathed, he set a brutal pace, the head of his cock bruising her cervix with each greedy thrust. His face dipped down to lick a stripe up her stomach, trailing marks up her chest and throat with gnashing tongue and teeth.
“You’d think so, wouldn’t you?” She bit out, trying and failing to pull her hands from his crushing grip, “Wouldn’t know wet pussy if it—mmgh!—if it smacked you in the face.”
He huffed another laugh, “Don’t tempt me, baby,” His hands released her own to dig into the fat of her ass as he pulled her hips upwards and into his own with a renewed violence, grunting as her knees dug spitefully into his sides.
Her newly free fingers clawed at his back, and despite his earlier threat, he seemed to revel in the streaks of red she tore in the skin between his wings, responding in kind with a hiss of masochistic pleasure.
“Not my fault the only way to get your dick wet,” A sharp, pained gasp, “Is to make a girl bleed.”
There was a glint in his eye that brought back her unease, and one of his sinful hands flew to the space where they met, finger pressing with irritating accuracy into her bundle of nerves. His other readjusted to push one leg to her chest, pausing his movement.
“Pain not a good enough lesson for you?” A too bright smile, “Fine with me,” That gleam in his eye sparkled with a sadistic satisfaction, “How ‘bout we see how many times I can make you cum ‘til you pass out.”
And the thrusts returned, chasing his own pleasure while the hand at her clit swirled in circles and stars, faster and faster until a whine more pleasured than pained escaped her lips.
“Like you–fuck–” She groaned as his fingers sped their motions, cock rocking into her with a deliciously savage rhythm she dared not acknowledge, “Like you fucking could–” A moan, full and long, drowned out her words, and her nails dug crescents into his shoulders.
He only hummed in response, her clit twitching under his thumb, “What’s that, Birdie?” A pulsing ache formed in her gut, “Words, baby, use your words,” Her pussy squeezed against his member in a way that had him groaning.
“Fuck you.”
“With pleasure, little Bird.”
He drew his hips back, pulling out of her dripping entrance to tease the hole with his tip, before diving back inside with unfairly gratifying precision against that spongy, tingling spot inside of her. Faster and faster, her bundle of nerves pulsed greedily under his fingers, and her teeth tore into her lip, trying to will the pleasure away, or, more shamefully, will it to peak.
Suddenly, and without warning, there was a blooming inside her that had her eyes rolling backwards, open mouthed moans raising in volume in an attempt to settle the warm buzzing between her thighs.
Though, she couldn’t find it within herself to care about the knowing smirk that pulled at his lips, too focused on his continued thrusts, and the quick rebuild of overwhelming pleasure.
“What are you–Stop!” A groan as he released her clit in favor of throwing both of her legs over his shoulders, and pressed against her chest, fucking into her at an angle that had her seeing stars, “What are you doing?!”
“If I’m correct, baby Bird,” He smiled, turning to press a quick kiss to her thigh, “You’re still conscious,” She growled as he nipped at the skin, but a particularly harsh push inside her cut the murderous thoughts short, “Which means we’ve still got a ways to go.”
His words were smug, but the growing sloppiness of his movements betrayed his own pleasure. Her eyes widened in realization, and her fingers leapt to pull and push at his back, tearing at what feathers she could reach in an attempt to get him off of her. Get him out of her.
“Not inside,” She rasped, “Don’t do it inside–”
“Hmm?” A mocking tilt of his head, “No? You don’t want me to fill you up?” One hand shifted to deliver a harsh slap to her ass, “Breed you like a needy little bitch?”
“Fucking—get off—get off!” She shrieked, beating at his shoulders, “Fucking psycho!”
“Well, that’s not very nice, now is it?” His hips were stuttering, and before she could stop herself, the words shot out through her lips.
“Please,” A couple stray, humiliated tears as she whimpered his name, “Please, not inside. Please, don’t cum inside!”
“Oh, so you do know how to talk pretty,” He breathed, fingers massaging at her abused flesh, “I was beginning to worry.”
“Please,” She swallowed her spit and her pride, “Please–”
“That’s right,” He was panting now, lips meeting her neck, teeth sinking in to add to the ring of bruises, “Beg me some more.”
Throwing her dignity out the window, she obliged, pleas working in tandem with the savage strokes of his cock, trying and failing to ignore her own mounting pleasure until finally he stilled, pouring deep inside her with a raspy groan, and sending her once again over that dreaded and savored edge.
“What’d I tell you, Birdie?” He ignored the defeated, broken whines that left her while they both returned to reality, “You’re mine.”
As his eyes trailed down the collage of her forming bruises, he was sure he bore his own battle scars, heart strangely skipping at the thought. She was his, but he had long belonged to her. A fact he’d hoard to himself as long as he could.
He caught his breath, readjusting to brush sweaty strands of hair from her forehead to behind her ear, pressing a reverent kiss to her temple before pulling away. It was a gesture entirely too soft, and she could have forgotten it was the monster above her had it not been for his next words.
“Oh don’t cry, my broken little Bird,” That vicious golden grin was back, “I’m not even close to done with you yet.”
Looking down at the ruined little thing shaking underneath him, he felt a type of satisfaction one only gets from dethroning a queen, fight fucked out of her. Not for good, he reminded himself gleefully. His pretty Bird was too stubborn for that. His softening cock twitched to life at the thought.
The flare of her nostrils sent lightning in his veins as she growled, “I’ll ruin you,” The words were venomous, humor sucked out in favor of acidic hatred, but his chest only vibrated with a sadistic urge to play, “I’ll fucking ruin you.”
“Ruin all you like, baby,” Breath wet and hot, shaking with anticipation, “I’ll ruin you right back.”

Welp I just found this in one of my many drafts-
(Warning: angst, mention of murder, blood, betrayal, being used, manipulation, gaslighting, the sorts)
~~~
Tears form in your eyes as you stare at the man that you have dated for months stare down at you, his once warm honey-colored eyes hardened with a freighting coldness. You struggle to breathe as you feel surrounded by the stench of blood- your comrades, your friends- the people you thought were *his* comrades and friends.
Dead on the floor beneath you- killed by *his* hands by *his* freewill- you felt sick. “I thought you were one of us.” You whisper, your voice hoarse from the roller coaster of emotions.
“Don’t be silly, y/n.  You should have been smarter.” He sighed, glaring down at you like he was disappointed- as if he expected better. “Well, there‘s a reason why I had to drag you into dating me.” He added with a shrug. He started walking towards you, his foot crushing a fallen comrade.
It felt like a punch to the gut.
Your hands were shaking as you ready your quirk, prepared to fight back. “So all of those months... all the time we’ve spent together? It meant nothing to you?” You whisper, your voice broken from emotion.
“They weren’t nothing... they were annoyances.” He rolled his eyes. Your heart throbbed.
~~ I'm gonna try to make something out of it lol. Lmk if you're interested/wanna be tagged if I ever do write anything for it
Yandere Keigo wanting a family with you.
Tumblr media
Keigo and you had been dating for a year when your mother decided that it was time that she met the man who's stolen you away from them. She wasn't exaggerating, you used to spend so much time with your family, your cousins, nieces, and nephews but for the past few months....he had stolen you away.
Keigo of course knew that he had stolen you away, had seen the texts with your mom abd dad, had been closely listening in on the video calls with the babies of your family. So when you begged him to go to your family reunion, saying that he could go too he was... hesitant to say the least. You were HIS and his alone!
You both arrived early, as you two walked up he sneaked an arm around your waist and whispered into your ear.
"Stay close to me ok songbird?"
"Keigo it'll be ok." You said, worried that he was starting to get anxiety. "They're nice people and you won't have to worry about them hurting you."
"It's not me I'm worried about birdie."
Your smile was so soft and genuine that he couldn't help but peck your cheek making you roll your eyes with a smile.
You were right, your grandpa and grandma were so happy to meet him that they hugged him almost as tightly as they hugged you. Your mother had complimented his wings, his looks, and demanded that you both sit and eat.
"You look so thin that if someone cooked you up, they wouldn't have enough to make a chicken leg."
Keigo chuckled at that, and gladly ate anything your mother insisted he tried. Your siblings were very polite to him, though suspicious as to why they hadn't been allowed to see you recently.
Your aunts and uncles seemed to take a quick liking to him as well, and made sure he wasnt overwhelmed by the chaos going on around you both.
Your dad wasnt the type to wait by the door with a shotgun, instead he questioned Keigo about anything but you're relationship with him.
He was so comfortable around them, and it felt...nice. It felt nice to be welcomed like this and he honestly wasn't sure if they were faking or not.
You were relieved, maybe he would let you stay with them more, go outside with them with you, and maybe...maybe calm down his increasingly protective behavior.
He looked over at you within the glorious and loving chaos, and took your hand. His eyes were so soft and warm like the old Keigo you once knew.
You leaamed forward and pressed a kiss to his cheek.
"I'm going to go use the bathroom."
You left just as the doors burst open with four toddlers, one eight month old baby, and two seven year olds. They all stopped when they saw Hawks, even the baby who had been going after their siblings.
"Bird!" The youngest toddler said pointing to Hawks. "Birdie!"
You finished in the bathroom as quick as you could and coming from around the corner the youngest ones in your family all smiled and ran towards you, nearly knocking you off your feet.
"Hey guys!" You said hugging and kissing every last one of them. "You all got so big!"
Then your mother said it was time to eat, everyone got their plate and in the crowd Keigo lost you. He didn't grab a plate, his eyes searching for you in the crowd that is your entire family.
Finally he found you, surrounded by your younger family members, a toddler on your lap and several little ones eating around you.
The toddler of course didnt want to eat so they decided to share their food. With you, more specifically on you. Anyone else Kiego knew would be furious but instead you just laughed and lightly scolded the toddler and made sure they ate what they wanted to instead of getting it on you.
And then he was hooked:
Hooked on the idea of you being a mommy, of his being a daddy, of having your best full of baby chicks. He wanted to grab you from this house and take you home and make sure you would have his children
He wouldnt yet. Only because this was the first thing you had asked of him since he took you all those months ago and you had been a good little angel just for him.
You didn't notice how he looked at you the rest of the day, how he was watching you in a way that didnt even come off as weird to your family.
You noticed though when you got home, how he took you to bed and whispered how good of a mom you would, how much he wanted a family and the part that made you sick wasnt the fact that you knew you were trapped. It was the fact that:
You wanted a family with him too.
Hey Lovely! Sorry it took me so long to write this, but school has been kicking my butt this week, but I kicked it back.
I really love this request, it's so cute, and I was really excited to write about this. It ended being longer than I expected, oh well.
Pairing Takami Keigo(Hawks) x Fem!reader
Requested: Yes
Warning: No, unless you're allergic to fluff.
------------------------
You had found this little guy in an alleyway when you were on your way home from work. You had heard some soft noises coming from the alleyway. You held your guard up while deciding to check what the noise was.
You were left confused when you didn't find anything in the alleyway. You turned around, but you heard the soft noises again. It almost sounded desperate, as if they were trying hard to get your attention.
You decided to look at the ground. That was when you saw a trash bag moving, it was faint, but you could tell it was moving. You slowly inched closer, upholding your guard if it ended being a trap.
You poked the trash bag slightly with your shoe to see if anything would happen, but nothing happened. you heard the noises again, and you kneeled and removed the trash bag carefully, as not to do any damage to whatever it was making the noises. What you found shocked you,
Right there in front of you was a little bird, dirty and looking malnourished. You quickly threw the trash bag away and set your full attention on the poor bird.
You were baffled and shocked at how anyone could throw away such a delicate creature. You inched your hand closer to the bird, carefully as not to scare the poor bird any more than necessary.
"Hey, little guy." You whispered and extended your index finger towards him. The little guy must have been scared out of his mind since he backed away from your finger. You retracted your finger and took a few steps backward.
You were left bewildered. You didn't know what to do. Then you remembered the water bottle in your bag. You quickly but carefully reached for your bag and dug through it to find your water bottle. You found it and filled the cap with water, and placed it on the ground. You carefully pushed the bottle cap towards the little bird and stepped back once it was within the bird's reach. You sat there, looking at the bird as it looked at the water. You breathed a sigh of relief when the bird started to drink the water.
After the bird finished drinking the water, you slowly extended your finger towards it again. It looked at your finger for a moment before it snuggled up against your finger. You smiled at stroked the little bird, and it seemed to enjoy it. When you took away your finger, the bird began chirping as if it didn't want you to stop.
"One-moment little guy." You said and pulled out a handkerchief from your bag. You placed it in front of the bird and gently held out your hands, and cupped around the bird and gently placed the bird on the handkerchief, and wrapped it around the bird.
"Let's get you, home buddy," You grabbed your bag and slung it over your shoulder. You checked your watch. Sadly the vet had closed long ago, so you had no choice but to take the little guy home with you. On your way home, you searched up for what bird may eat, so you could try to get the little guy to eat something when you reached home.
You stopped by a pet shop on your way home. You asked the clerk what birds might eat. They recommended some pellets and some ready-made seed mix, which you bought even though it was a bit expensive. You thanked them and continued your way home.
Once you reached your apartment, you threw your bag to the side and placed the bird on a pillow. You settled everything you bought on the counter and readied some of the seed mixes. And some cucumber slices. You found a bowl and filled it with fresh water.
You went to retrieve the little guy, and when he saw you, he began to chirp happily. It almost reminded you of your boyfriend Hawks.
Oh god, Hawks.
You had entirely forgotten about Hawks. What would he say about this? You shook your head. That is not what matters right now. You placed the bird in front of the food and the bowl and just let him do what he wanted. He almost ran towards the food and began to eat it. You almost laughed about it.
"Hey, remember to drink some water, buddy." You said and nudged the water bowl closer to him. The bird stopped eating and looked towards the bowl. He jumped on the edge of the bowl, which made you a little nervous, but you remained still. But then he jumped in.
You panicked for a moment until you realized he enjoyed the water. You chuckled and let him have his fun. He got the water everywhere, and you laughed as you watched him splash around. He had almost emptied the bowl before you decided he had had enough.
"Alright, little guy, I think you've had enough for now." You reached into the bowl and gently picked him up. That was when you heard the door open and close. You froze because you knew who it was.
"Oh, Pretty Bird, I'm home!" You heard Keigo call out. You didn't know what to do. You just stood there frozen with a wet bird in your hands.
"In the kitchen!" You called out. What the hell were you thinking! What would Keigo think when he saw you like this. Never mind that he already rounded the corner.
"Hey, Pretty Bird, how was your-" Keigo asked as he walked towards the kitchen. But he stopped in his tracks when he spotted you and the bird. For a while, you two stared at each other, now knowing how to start that conversation.
"What is going on here?" Keigo broke the ice and asked you. You looked at the bird and then back at the bowl.
"That Is a good question. Um, you see." You tried to explain, but the words were not forming in your head.
"Please give me a moment." You said and took hold of a kitchen towel and began drying the little guy to the best of your ability.
"Uh, yeah, sure," Keigo said and stood there watching you taking care of the bird. You tried not to be too harsh drying the little bird, not wanting to do any more harm to it. When finally managed to dry the little bird enough, you turned towards Keigo, who was still waiting for you.
"Thank you." You said and held the little bird in the kitchen towel.
"So... What's with the bird? I thought you already had me." Keigo joked, and you couldn't help but chuckle.
"I found this little guy In an alleyway with trashbags laying on top of him. He looked so happy when I noticed him. Since all the vets are closed for the day, I thought I would take him to the vet tomorrow. Until then, I will have to take care of him." You explained. You stroked the little bird's head, and he seemed to enjoy that very much. So much so that the little guy snuggled up against you. Keigo felt something rise in him but decided to ignore it. He smiled at you and brought your head closer to him, and kissed your forehead.
"You're so kind, Pretty Bird. I'm sure He'll be better in no time." Keigo looked at you and then at the little bird in your hands. But Keigo couldn't stop a certain feeling rising in him, but yet again, he pushed it aside. For the rest of the evening, you took care of the bird as much as you could. You spend so much time with the bird you didn't have much time with Keigo. At first, he didn't mind it as much. You were taking care of it for the time being. But the bird would almost all the time call for your attention, leaving Keigo lonely and in need of affection. When it came time to go to bed, you made a make-shift nest of some sort for the bird to sleep in next to you and Keigo.
Throughout the night, the bird would make small noises and wake both you and Keigo up, and every time you would get up and check on the little guy. That annoyed Keigo to no end. He just wanted to snuggle up to you and fall asleep. Once he thought he could finally have you to himself, the bird would call out and get your attention. But Keigo remained calm since you only had to take care of it until tomorrow. Or so he thought.
The next day, you had called the vet, and they asked you to bring the bird the same day. Sadly, Keigo had to do hero work. So he couldn't go with you. Along the day, you found an old cardboard box and some old towels. You made the cardboard box into a make-shift carrier. When it was finally time to go to the vet, you put the little guy into the make-shift carrier box and went on your way. You had always been nervous about going to the doctor. You didn't dare think what the little guy would think after his first visit to the vet.
You arrived at the vet and checked in, and went to sit down. You looked around at all the other pets around the waiting room. Some looked more relaxed than others, gues even pets can get used to going to the vet. You heard your little friend squeak and looked down. You saw the little guy looking at you, and you smiled and stroked his head.
It took some time, but you finally got called up, and you went with the doctor. They greeted you and looked at the little guy. Turns out, the little guy and a lot of ticks that you hadn't noticed, he was also underweight, and you also got confirmed that the little guy was a male bird. The vet wanted the little guy to stay at the connected animal hospital they had, but sadly, the hospital was full at the moment. The vet asked you to take care of the little man here and continue to come to visit for checkups. You agreed, and the vet handed you some documents that would help you on your journey.
You left the vet and thanked them for their help. On your way home, you had tried to call Keigo, but he didn't pick up his phone. He was probably busy. When you got home, you read through the documents and wrote down some things you might need. The little man must have been tired from today's visit since he had been pretty quiet since you got home. Your concentration broke when you heard your phone ring. You looked at the screen and saw it was Keigo trying to reach you.
"Hey, Keigo." You answered the call.
"Hey, Birdie, I saw You had tried to reach out to me. What's up?" Kei go asked you.
"So I went to the vet today, And I have both good and bad news." You told him.
"Okay, hit me." He said.
"So turns out there's nothing too bad wrong with the little guy, The bad news is that the connected pet hospital was full, and he has to stay with us for a while longer." You gave him the details.
"That's good, but I don't see why him staying with us is a bad thing," Keigo said.
"Don't play dumb, Kei. I saw how you glared at the little guy yesterday for taking all my attention." You leaned back and smirked, knowing you busted him.
"No, I wasn't!" He denied quickly.
"Yeah, yeah, Bird Brain, I'll see you when you get home. Be careful, okay." You told him.
"Yeah, I'll see you, Pretty Bird," Keigo said before you ended the call. After you hung up, you decided to get some chores done. But before you did that, you checked up on the little guy. The little guy must have been exhausted since he was still sleeping. You got some chores done, not wanting to wake the poor guy up. Before you knew it, you had to start making dinner. You carefully took the make-shift carrier to yours and Keigo's bedroom. Mission succeeded.
You started making dinner, trying to be as quiet as possible. You were in the middle of cooking when you heard the door open and close. You looked towards the kitchen entrance and saw a tired Keigo enter.
"Hey, Kei. Hard day?" You turned towards him, and he slumped against you and nuzzled his face into your neck. You smiled and wrapped your arms around him.
"Where is the little runt?" You heard Keigo mumble.
"He's in the bedroom sleeping. The little guy is exhausted after today's visit." You explained as you glided your hands up and down his back.
"Mm, okay," Keigo mumbled.
"Go get changed, your all dirty." You chuckled.
"Mmm," Keigo uttered out and pulled his body away from yours and went towards the bedroom. You went right back to cooking, but you were interrupted yet again. You looked out from the kitchen, where you heard some commotion. You looked out from the kitchen and saw Keigo carrying the make-shift carrier towards you.
"Keigo! Did you wake him up?" You asked as you walked towards them.
"No, I was in the middle of changing when I heard him squeaking." He explained and handed you the box.
"Hey, little guy, did you have a good nap?" You asked as you pulled the box closer. The bird squeaked and snuggled up against your finger. You looked over at Keigo and saw he had this sour facial expression.
"Since we have to take care of you, for the time being, I think you need to get used to my boyfriend Keigo, Buddy." You said and took the little guy into your hands and carefully handed him to Keigo.
"Hey! What are you-" Keigo began to protest.
" Oh, shut up," you told him and handed him the bird. You chuckled a little because both Keigo and the little guy looked like they didn't know what to do.
"So, uh, What's his name?" Keigo asked you. For the first time, you realized you never gave the bird a name.
"I don't know. I haven't given this guy a name." You told him.
"Why don't you give him a name, Kei?" You smiled at him.
"Huh?! What! Why me?!" You could see him beginning to panic and look around him. Then he stopped and looked back at you.
"W-What about Pepper?" He stuttered out, which caught you by surprise.
"Pepper?" You smiled and laughed a little at the odd name.
"Don't laugh. I was under pressure!" He squeaked out.
"No, no, it's not that. The name just caught me off guard." You laughed and leaned towards the bird.
"Do you like the name Pepper? You sure look like a Pepper." You asked the bird. He squeaked and began jumping. You took that as a 'Yes.'
"Well then, Pepper, Welcome to your temporary home." You smiled and turned to face Keigo, who had a blush on his face.
"Good job, Keigo." You kissed him on the cheek before you went back to make dinner.
From that night on, you and Keigo became bird parents for the time being. It was mainly you who took care of Pepper. It didn't take Keigo long to come around either after he stopped being jealous of Pepper. You went to the vet and instructed, and in no time, Pepper was healthy and even more energized.
"Looks like Pepper is healthy and all good again, just one more visit, and we should be all done. Have you thought of giving him up for adoption?" The vet asked. And you stopped for a second and looked at the vet.
"Adoption?" You questioned.
"Yeah, you been taking care of Pepper, and now he is all healthy. Usually, he would have ended up in the hospital, and we would have notified you when he was healthy and ready to be given up for adoption. But you don't have to make a decision right now. He still has one visit left." The vet explained to you. You were hit with a wave of sadness as the words sank in. You knew it wasn't a full-time thing, so why did you feel so sad imaging saying goodbye to Pepper.
Once you reached home, you let Pepper out of his carrier and sat down. Pepper jumped around and poked and nibbed at your clothes.
"Not right now, Pepper. Mommy has to think." You said and gently pushed Pepper aside. You stood up and walked to the bedroom, proceeding to throw yourself on the bed.
Hours later, you still hadn't come out of the bedroom, and Pepper had just sat and looked at the door, wondering what was wrong. Pepper heard the door open and close and began squeaking excitedly.
"Hey Pepper!" Keigo said and stroked the bird's feathers.
"Have you missed me? Were you a good boy at the vet today? Speaking of which, where is your mommy?" Peppers jumped around excitedly but stopped when he heard your name.
"What's wrong, Peps?" Keigo asked. He suddenly heard a door open. He saw you walking towards them both.
"Hey, Pretty Bird-" He greeted you but stopped when he saw your bloodshot eyes.
"Hey, hey, hey. What's wrong? What happened?" Keigo asked you.
"Today at the vet, he asked if we wanted to give Pepper up for adoption since he is all healthy now. I know this was only a temporary thing, but I don't wanna give Pepper!" You were balling, tears flowing down your cheeks, and you held on to Keigo.
Keigo couldn't believe what you were saying, giving up Pepper for adoption? Sure, you two had only had Peppers for a short time, but he enjoyed having Peppers around. Sure, maybe he wasn't too keen on Peppers in the start. But once how caring you were for Peppers, he realized how much Peppers meant to you both. Hell, you were practically Peppers's parents.
"Well, I don't see what's wrong with adoption-" Keigo began, but you cut him off before he could finish.
"What?! Keigo, what are you saying! I thought you liked Pepper!" You cried.
"Hear me out, Pretty Bird, you didn't let me finish. I don't see what's wrong with adoption, as long you are okay with Adopting Pepper." Keigo finished what he wanted to say earlier. You stared at him, shocked. He laughed as he dried your tears away.
"Are you serious? Please, tell me you're not joking." You asked him.
"I'm serious, Birdie. I love Pepper as much as you, and I wouldn't want to be without him." Keigo told you as he hugged you closer.
"Did you hear that, Pepper! You're going stay here with mommy and daddy, aren't you excited?" You picked up Pepper and nuzzled against him.
The next time you were at the vet, Keigo came with you. You two expressed interest in adopting Peppers, which the vet was happy to hear since he saw how happy Pepper was with the two of you. You got all the documents needed and sorted things out. Not long after that, you and Keigo officially adopted Pepper, your one and only bird son.
It also didn't take for Keigo to post his first video of Pepper on his social media. Everyone was gushing over you three. But most importantly, you're just happy to spend time with the two most precious beings in your life.
↳ hawks x reader → ❝better❞
summary: hawks wishes he could be a better man for you but you reassure him he’s enough. word count: 1k+ tags/warnings: mild hurt/comfort, insecurity, fluff, cuddles a/n: i love hawks 👉👈🥺 i have a bigger thing planned for him but i dont feel like working on it atm so take this fluff
Hawks hated to keep things from you. You were so honest, you didn’t hesitate to tell him anything even if it was something you might prefer to keep to yourself. You shared it all with him. He hated himself for not being able to do the same with you.
He was a spy, he was a hero pretending to be a villain that was pretending to be a hero. It was a dangerous game that could end badly very quickly. Not just for him but for a lot of people.
Especially when it came to days like these. He had returned from meeting with the League which always left him so drained. He hated to be around you after but not for the reasons you might think. You would always want to cheer him up, you make him his favorite food, cuddle with him on the couch, do anything he wanted. That was amazing, the ways you showed him love made him feel things he never had before. But it always left him feeling guilty, he wanted to vent to you but he couldn’t. Not only would he be in ten types of trouble he’d be putting you at risk. If you knew nothing no one could use you for information and that would keep you safer.
Today had been bad. Worse than his usual bad days and he couldn’t stay away from you.
Landing on your balcony he opened the door. It was always unlocked for him. You told him that he was always welcome any time he needed to come in he was welcome. He scolded you and said you should lock it, just because most people couldn’t reach it didn’t mean it was safe. There were plenty of people with quirks who could.
He could hear the shower running from your bathroom so he made himself comfortable on the couch, spreading his wings out as he laid down. He could feel the tension leave his body as he rested. Your apartment always smelled so good, it was comforting. You burned so many candles your place always had a soft smell of the most recent candle you had gotten.
“Babe!” You said surprised by his presence. He opened his eyes and took in your appearance. You looked so cute in your sweatpants and an old t-shirt. “I didn’t know you were here.”
“Sorry, I came in through the balcony.” He said sitting up.
“Don’t apologize.” You said walking towards him. “You know you’re always welcome here.”
He melted as you climbed onto his lap wrapping your arms around him. His wings fluffed up at the contact. They tended to do that whenever he felt really comfortable. It embarrassed him at first but when you giggled at how cute it was he thought it was worth it to see you that happy.
Hawks pulled you in tight, clutching you to his chest and pressing his head against your shoulder. It felt good to have you safe in his arms even if his emotions were all over the place. The relief was quickly swallowed by guilt. You deserved better, you deserved an honest man, someone who wouldn’t put you in danger just by being near you.
“Hey, is everything okay?” You asked softly, hands brushing through his hair. “Did something happen today?”
“I don’t deserve you.” He mumbled into your shoulder.
“Don’t say that, baby.” You scolded in a soft voice.
“It’s true.” He said pulling back and looking you in the eyes. “I can’t even tell you what I’m upset about how could I ask for your help. You deserve someone who isn’t hiding things from you.”
“Keigo.” You said in a stern tone, taking his cheeks between your hands. “You’re a hero, I can’t expect to know everything you do. What you do affects everyone’s safety I’m not selfish enough to demand I know things for my own sake.”
“But-”
“No. I’m here for you no matter what, when you can tell me that’s great. But there are going to be times that you can’t or you just don’t want to and that’s okay. I’ll always be here for you. I’ll always be waiting with my arms open and no questions.”
“Baby,” He cooed, tears welling in his eyes. He had never been loved so fiercely, so unconditionally by someone.
“Okay, I did lie. I will ask questions.” You admitted. “But those questions are going to be, are you hungry, what do you want to eat, do you want to watch Netflix?”
“I can answer those for you.” He smiled at your teasing. You pulled him back into a hug.
“Do you want to eat right now?” You asked.
“Can you just hold me?” He said.
“Always.” You smiled at him.
The two of you made your way to your bed, it was just easier to cuddle on your bed with his wings. Laying down Hawks climbed on top of you, resting his head against your chest. You wrapped your arms around him, one hand in his windswept hair and the other brushing up and down his back. Your hand moved from his back to the base of his wings and he let out a sigh. When your hand moved again to brush through the feathers of his wings he practically let out a coo.
He could feel you smiling at the way he melted into you. Hawks was always so focused on his job and keeping other people safe and happy but when he was with you he could let his guard down. He could not think about all of the things he had done or would have to do. It was just the two of you and that’s all that mattered.
I’m in love w/ the Raptor StressGrip AU!!! It’s so funny (although rip hawks panicking about being exposed) and cute! I love hawks with more birb traits How would he realize seeing UV lights isn’t standard human vision though? (I’m imagining the “white” “light gray” meme) Or did the commission train him to stop doing birb things, like “don’t turn your head that way!” And stuff?
The Raptor Stress Grip is probably one of my favorite Hawks things now.
I think he would realize that he sees more colors than others when he was fairly young and started learning colors and stuff in school. Things just wouldn’t look the same to him, and he would be able to see ‘invisible’ markings on birds/other critters with UV patterns. If he gets his birb traits from one of his parents, they might know to look for it, or it might be a standard test given to people with bird quirks.
The Commission definitely would’ve tried to trained “unheroic” bird traits out of him. Stress griping was considered unacceptable and a failure of control on his part which is part of why he’s so apologetic/worried about it. He naturally wants to pick at things/shred/fidget but all of those behaviors were viewed very negatively, so he gets anxious about them. Most of the time he uses “acceptable” head movements, but sometimes when he’s tired or stressed out he forgets and does it anyways. That always makes him anxious too, and it can really stress him out when he’s around other people and trying to behave ‘correctly’ but his body just doesn’t want to.
Kiwis opinion on hawks and endeavor?
Kiwi’s Opinions on Pro Hero Hawks and Endeavor:
Hawks - She actually likes Hawks :D she’s probably met him through Tokoyami once or twice and she got to talk to him for a minute. She’d probably be friends with him ngl. She thinks he’s funny, and different from what she thought of him at first.
Endeavor - She hates him. She definitely positively hates him. After hearing about Todoroki’s past she felt horrible for him. She knows what it’s like to have a controlling/abusive father (her previous family was shit) and she hates that someone else who is her good friend had to go through the same parental figure. So she doesn’t like Enji at all. She won’t do or say anything disrespectful because he is the #1 Pro Hero and jail is a thing. She does talk smack with Todoroki though.
