The next day, the Terrans are with Bumblebee while Tfe goes to the meeting with the Autobot High Command (It was quite a shock when the seeker basically dumped the kids with the yellow scout then left). They're the center of attention, everyone is friendly overall and very interested in the first sparklings they've seen in ages. But the Terrans were getting uncomfortable, luckily Bumblebee steered them away to somewhere else more quiet.

They get to watch soap operas with the Autobots and play old videos, they have a great time. The Terrans talk about technology in their time, and what they usually do back home for fun. Hashtag mentioned Bumblebee being much taller in the future, so the scout asks more about his relationship with them. The kids think back to what Tfe Starscream told them, as long as it's not about the Emberstone it should be fine right? (completely forgetting the future part)

So they gave some vague stories about Tfe Bumblebee being their mentor, teaching them. And some more stories about their siblings. Everyone is invested. Then someone asked about their "sire". The trio quieted down, sharing glances. This makes the bots suspicious.

"What's wrong? Do your parents have strange rules about talking to strangers? You can tell us"

"No not that, our parents love us. It's just that Starscream doesn't like them much. But we're working on it!" (What does that even mean)

"There's this human organization called GHOST, that worked with the Autobots to catch and imprison Decepticons to "protect" Earth. But they were actually experimenting on their prisoners. Starscream, still won't tell us what happened just that it was Shockwave's level of bad?" (What)

"The humans were involved with our birth actually. Starscream didn't really want us at first but Hashtag managed to get through him so here we are! Now most of the time he is down in Nightshade's lab doing nerd stuff with them and Dad 2" (The Autobots are starting to get not very good feelings about how this story is going. Also who is Dad 2???)

The conversation stops when the Terrans see Tfe Starscream arriving, the kids circle him telling him about their day and all of these things the Autobots show them. The seeker goes along with their stories, ooh and aah while steering them to a table and dug around in his subspace to give them some snacks (barely bothered by the loud cheers or the fact that Hashtag is like a limpet attached to his leg). He spared a glance at the frozen Autobots who were giving him strange looks. Tfe Starscream is pulled back to the kids when the kids continue to talk about the soap operas they are watching.

The Autobots who were listening (eavesdropping) to the conversation - plus Ravage who was in the vent - are now horrified by the implications of how the sparklings came to be and Tfe Starscream's situation.

Hi sorry I hope this isn't too random but I was looking through your art and you mentioned there may or may not be an official dagwon anthology or comic? Is there anyway to read it? Love you art btw!

Hi!! Aww thank you! 🥺 For those Dagwon comics, I do believe they're official. They were published by Nora Comics DX/PockeSeries Gakken and Rapport. Rapport I know published other sunrise works. Back in the day, these kinda things were a little more between fan works AND official... given the fact these read kinda.. gay. It made it hard to believe these may be semi official lol.

The Dagwon 1st and 2nd anthologies by NoraDX are on internet archive. The first of these has a very cute Lian comic that I adore, and the second has a cute inside cover illustration!!

The ones by Rapport titled Highschool Hero I do not believe are online. Their covers look like this, and they have a few very nice mini posters included!! I can try to scan them sometime, but they were quite cheap on Buyee (Yahoo Auctions or Mercari.) If you can manage to find them.

Unfortunately though, besides one other gag comic with Lian, there's next to no robots in any of these. But if you're just looking for the kids goofing off, they're some good reads! And the color illustrations included in all of them are very nice ☺️

just so everyone knows. I have a couple of TS4 households with some of my object show humans(which btw bless the fullhouse mod. i would fill up like EVERY lot in my game having to split them all up into 8 oughhh) and I'd really love to mention that ALL of my sims that live in my Hotel OJ re-creation constantly have the "poorly decorated" uncomfortable moodlet(unless its expired and hasn't come back yet) except for OJ himself.

I headcanon that Darkwing isn’t very well-liked by the general population of high society cogged bots/the bots he spends time around. Sure, he’s a popular contender in the Iacon 5000 because of his skill, nobody is denying that he's fast and powerful, but personality wise, anyone that’s spent longer than a couple of minutes around him realizes he’s not actually that great to hang out with. Why do you think he’s in the mines?

My boss at my former workplace was like that. It was sort of an open secret that the reason he kept getting promoted until he wound up the warehouse supervisor was because nobody wanted him on their team, so they kept giving him new jobs to get rid of him. That’s how Darkwing got his supervisor job. Let the miners deal with his ass.

Skyline knows him long before ever meeting D-16 and Orion. The only reason he’s not on the High Guard himself is because their commander said Absolutely Not, otherwise I just know Mr. Power Trip Who Thinks He’s Hot Shit wanted to be on the team. I like to think him and Skyline formally met during tryouts - she got the position, he did not. And he's always going to be a bit bitter about that. Skyline is far younger than him, inexperienced and a bit reckless. Sure, she's talented, but so is he. Darkwing took that personally.

Even so, they keep having to deal with each other at events because he is a pretty high standing bot, and even outside of the one-sided rivalry, Skyline does not vibe with him at all.  When she finds out he’s D-16 and Orion’s supervisor, the first thing she does is give her condolences.

Now to the fun part though: Skyline outranks him. He has to do what she tells him, whether he likes it or not. She’s saved the boys’ butts on more than one occasion by giving some excuse about having “borrowed them for some task” to explain why they didn’t show up for work or something similar. It pisses Darkwing off to no end, because the lack of labor reflects badly on him, but there’s nothing he can actually do about it beside complain. He can’t even punish them because their absence was sanctioned by the High Guard. And if he tries to anyway, they’ll tell her, and she’ll come tear him a new one. It’s definitely happened so many times that by some point he starts getting very suspicious, and Skyline keeps asking the boys to stop using her as a get out of jail free card, but Orion is regrettably insane (affectionate) and could never waste this opportunity he’s been handed to do whatever the fuck he wants with no consequences.

Darkwing is so onto them. Nobody believes him though. He doesn’t have any proof, and a member of the High Guard being in cahoots with some miners is a ridiculous concept. No wonder he has it fucking out for those two guys in particular.

I don't really know enough about Darkwing in other media to fully know what exactly happens post-movie canon, but considering he's usually a Decepticon, I'm imagining the beginnings of that to be the funniest conversation ever.

Skyline still outranks him, but it's worse now. She's officially conjunxed to the little miner (HE KNEW IT!!!) except, that's Megatron now, who is terrifying and also very much the boss of him, so what's he gonna do about it? He just has to live like this now.

Darkwing is not having a good time.

I imagine it so often (seldom good reason...just to picture them being cool i suppose)... The bots having to engage in some security protocol and their eyes adjust for peak combative/offensive/defensive performance. Particularly melee. *

..aside from that i adore them as a whole and i do like how most of the fandom (what ive seen) characterizes them. They're full of love and they want to share it with the world.
