Since I saw a random little post on Reddit talking about this (reddit is a place of horrors, I know)

I think jerboa III/boa should have been punished for destroying animus magic. Not in the same way that Darkstalker was as that would just be a repeat of what had already caused her actions (also I don’t think Darkstalker deserved to have his memories wiped either) but I feel that she should have gotten an appropriate punishment for it.

despite Laios low self esteem making him think that if he’d been eaten, Chilchuck and Marcille wouldn’t have helped Falin,

theres a small part of me that thinks the reason Chilchuck stayed with the party and went back in the dungeon in the first place was because he didn’t want to leave Laios alone. That Laios was moreso the reason he stayed.

Laios is on a first name basis with him for a reason.#He also worries probably more than anyone about Laios #And his biggest criticism of him is that hes “reckless”#he’s comfortable around Laios in a very specific way and so is Laios around him #and in the series he shows many times that he’ll risk his life to protect Laios #Like staying with him to confront the elves because he was worried Laios would say something stupid #Hes the first one to run up to him when Falin punches him #I mean I think he was also going back for Falin like its not like I think he doesn’t care about her or anything #He clearly does #But I don’t know if he’d have gone back if Laios hadn’t #And if Laios had been eaten I think he wouldn’t have even had to be convinced by Falin #I also think Marcille would’ve gone back for him but probably more bc Falin was going back #Like sort of a reversed thing #AGAIN not that I don’t think she cared about Laios at the beginning either #But she before the story she was mostly Falin’s friend who knew Laios through Falin #She only really got to know him when Falin got eaten and they had to do a team building exercise #Though now I sort of want to see an actually reversed scenario #Bc we also know that Chilchuck is sort of uncomfortable around Falin (said in relationship chart)#So I would love to see them be forced into a team building exercise to find a person they both love the way Laios and Marcille were

Zoro comes to learn, after years of living together and fighting besides eachother, that Sanji loves in a quiet way. The flirting and the worshiping he does is mostly part of a persona he puts up, and also to make the girls laugh. When Sanji's in love he's.... Softer, gentle. He didn't really notice at first, thought that both of them had just mellowed out as they grew older, but waking up to Sanji brushing the swordsman hair with his fingers, smiling that little smile he only has when he's really proud of something, Zoro realizes that Sanji's quiet love is something he couldn't live without.

(Nami: so, explain to me again how you didn't realize you were married to Sanji for the past uhh let me thiink fucking decade?!!!

Zoro: how was I supposed to know that?!!?

Nami: YOU SLEEP IN THE SAME BED! YOU STARTED WAKING EARLY TO MAKE HIM COFFEE AND KEEP HIM COMPANY!!

really do not think people understand the extent to which palestinian sites/landmarks (especially muslim ones) were destroyed, beginning in 1948 until now, even in cities. the oldest extant mosque in jaffa (al-bahr mosque) was built in 1675, even though islam came there in the 7th century

The worst trope in the universe is when someone accuses character A, who is part of a real or fantasy or coded minority, of doing something bad and everyone's like "That's just your prejudice against [real or fantasy minority]!" and it turns out character A actually did do that bad thing and everyone else was stupid for not believing they did that bad thing.

#skimmed a fanfic with B'Elanna in it (Skimmed bc I knew this might happen)....BIG MISTAKE #Ex: 'You just think I stole something because I'm a ferengi!' and they did steal something. i’ve never been as angry on behalf of a character as i am for sam winchester

#currently thinking about season four and five. absolutely fuckibg mental #the world literally reshapes itself around him to prove him wrong #its all framed as God. Sam was so stupid and selfish and reckless for drinking demon blood. He just liked the power of it and he chose a #DEMON over DEAN.#but. that’s not the story they tell in s4.#like even aside from every single other complexity. Sam is literally right. he has ZERO WAY of knowing that killing lilith is the final seal #AND DEAN DOESNT KNOW TJAT EITHER. like sam is literally right he can kill lilith and he does kill lilith. dean wants lilith dead just as #much. sam’s cardinal sin is disobeying dean and then the world flips around on him and plot twist sam and dean were both wrong all along and #killing lilith is what will bring back lucifer :)#but. it’s not framed like that either. it’s framed like SAM BROUGHT BACK LUCIFER BY KILLING LILITH WHILE HIGH ON DEMON BLOOD #dean you wanted to kill lilith too?????????#but. doesn’t matter dean despite being mostly motivated by jealous anger is retroactively proven to be Right #and sam is retroactively proven to be Wrong. he is bad #i just. jesus. sam’s not evil ever. he’s hardly even that fucking morally grey #and he still thinks there’s something wrong with him that he’s a freak that he’s inherently evil and needs to be purified #why?? cause of something fucked up that happened to him when he was a baby #and because he’s disobeyed his father and his brother and been angry at awful things that have happened to him #makes me feel fucking insane actually #no wonder narrative frames sam as evil no wonder he’s inherently marked as Bad by the forces in supernatural like even on a meta level #in supernatural gods just another shitty father. embodiment of the familial patriarch. and from sam’s very first moment on the show he’s in #opposition to that he’s ran away from john and he argues with dean. therefore he is evil #i don’t think my words r really making sense right now but. fucking hell #and sam is so swamped in guilt all of season five and he just fucking accepts that everything bad is his fault #and he gets tortured in the cage to save the fucking world and it’s STILL not enough. not to appease his own guilt and not to appease deans #anger at him. dean is still throwing his perceived violations back at him in like season nine!!#and whenever he tries to get out it’s treated as yet another Sin. narrative acts like sam thinking dean was dead and having a life outside #of hunting is The Worst Thing He Ever Did #worst sin sam ever commits in the eyes of the show is disobedience. I am going over Murderbot's and ART's first interactions again and it's driving me crazy, so I really need to yell into the void about it.

Alright, so we have ART:

ART, a highly advanced deep space research vessel, who is very attached to its crew and seems to generally do what it's supposed to, especially when not doing so could endanger its mission - but ends up accepting a suspicious looking SecUnit that is lying about being a bot aboard itself. ART is evidently aware that it is directly breaking the rules in doing so. (Aside: How often does ART break the rules?) Why? All for that tempting media package that the SecUnit has to offer?

No.

It was sent off to do some work all alone and got bored and lonely. (I think there are different ways to intepret this, but looking at our super social raised-by-humans loving-its-crew never-shutting-up research vessel, I choose to think that is exactly what it was!)

Anyway, what does ART do now that it has this lying, potentially dangerous rogue SecUnit aboard? It

lets it know that it saw right through its lies and knows exactly what it is

intimidates and threatens it by showing off its own ridiculously extensive superiority (just to be on the safe side ofc)

gets bored after the SecUnit gets too scared to do anything interesting

asks the SecUnit to "stop sulking"

learns that the SecUnit has been through A Lot and seemingly understands how it made it feel and apologizes

gets bored again and starts lurking and harasses convinces the SecUnit to watch media about ships and their crews with it

[gets way too invested and agitated by the media, probably going through its first media-induced emotional crises (but gets through them with the support of the very patient SecUnit)]

tries to have a conversation with the SecUnit to get to know it better

gets offended that the SecUnit is not answering truthfully and won't share sensitive and very private information about itself

lets the SecUnit know it can see through its lies, calling it "inherently inferior" to itself and causing the SecUnit to sulkily shut down for four hours (lol)

immediately calls the SecUnit "unnecessarily childish" upon its awakening four hours later (referring to its own extensive experience with children to really get the point across)

And apparently all of this seemed to be a perfectly pleasant and normal interaction to ART, because:

That's how you make friends, isn't it?!

God, I love ART so so so much and this is SO funny to me! To be fair, I don't think anyone ever really prepared it for an interaction like this. (Probably because its crew did not expect it to pick up a stray rogue SecUnit and try to befriend it).
