Ooh, fun question! :D

Vanellope, I've thought of before: in her real-human! verse, she'd have a channel where she streams herself playing video game. Most commonly racing games, but not exclusively; I can also see her playing adventure-platform games, along the lines of the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. She wouldn't have a huge following (and she's also aware that she's under-age according to the terms of service so she's careful about drawing too much attention to herself for another four years), but she appreciates having a place where she can virtually hang out and actually be accepted by the few followers who she does have.

Connie has a channel where she posts media reviews, particularly of movies and books. Usually of her favourite franchises - she may have once made a six-hour video essay picking apart her every issue (of which there were MANY) with the anime adaption of the Spirit Morphs saga...! - but she'll also sometimes branch out into other media that her followers recommend to her, looking over it with an analytical eye.

Webby doesn't have much of an online presence; according to The Art of DuckTales she has little care for such things, "she'd rather be out living adventures than watching other people do it", and so she wouldn't naturally think much of creating her own content for it either. That said, spending time around Dewey has rubbed off on her to some degree, and I could imagine her keeping a - very infrequently updated - video journal of her adventures. She'll maybe remember it once every few months and make a video gushing over a bunch of the coolest places she's been and things she's seen during that time, then not check back in again for several weeks...!

Gosalyn of course grew up in the pre-YouTube era; but in a context where her life happened in the modern day, her channel would definitely be full of home-made horror movies, or otherwise pitches for horror movie ideas that she doesn't have the budget to make herself. Among the home movies are about fifty different episodes of Gosalyn Mallard: Zooooombie Slayer!, her own original series made with Honker's assistance, which sees her taking down zombies made using a variety of (very messy) practical effects... about half of which are interrupted mid-episode by Drake yelling and grounding her for the mess she's making. She dabbles a bit here and there in other things too, such as streaming herself playing Whiffle Boy (hey, she was good enough to make it as far as the championship, she's allowed to show off a bit!), and also hosting a fanclub for up-and-coming superhero Quiverwing Quack (who she insists is no relation to her, honest...! Drake can't imagine where she got such an ego...).

Terra has a travelogue YouTube channel. She very deliberately makes no mention of superpowers, instead playing herself off as your average teen wandering the west coast of America, showing off some of the sights she sees. Never mind that most of the places she's filmed herself visiting have not long after been hit by earthquakes or landslides, that's definitely not more than a freak coincidence that has nothing to do with her...

Margo tends to just day-to-day video blog about her life. She tries to downplay the former-supervillain stuff - both so as not to attract attention from any of Gru's old enemies, and because she wants to give the impression of being a fairly normal kid - but this can tend to be easier said than done and hints to Gru's former life of crime inevitably slip in here and there. Still, Margo prefers to talk about the everyday stuff, like school, or shenanigans that her sisters get up to, than anything less-relatable.

Lilo's channel is a big bit of everything, including demonstrations of new hula ideas, guides to dressing up as various monsters, and her and Stitch's slug circus; but the most frequently recurring theme are her videos on how to recognise and prepare for an alien invasion. She has a decent following, although most people assume that she's running a joke channel and she's playing the role of comically serious just because she's that committed to the bit. Lilo is aware of this reputation and considers it the price she has to pay to get this important information out there.

Da Vinci (especially in Bluey! or human!AUs, but even in 101DS canon the dogs are anthropomorphised enough to use technology, so...) has a painting channel; one of her favourite things to upload are Bob Ross-esque painting videos, but she'll also make videos of herself doing other kinds of pictures too. She will sometimes allow viewers to buy paintings after she's finishing them, but is reluctant to let her work become too commercialised after her bad experience with Snowball.

Collette's channel (again speaking in a modern-day Bluey! / anthro! / human! verse) would be a fashion and fur care channel. She'd discuss latest fashion trends, show outfits she liked, give fur / hair styling tips. Sometimes she'd get her sisters on board too, particularly if she wants to model multiple outfits at once to compare them, or to explain hair care tips that she can't easily demonstrate on herself.

Danielle's channel content is pretty sparse; like Webby, she prefers to be out and active than sitting behind a screen making stuff. What she does have are mostly vids of her and Scamp (and Angel, once she joins the family) playing around or getting up to shenanigans. Her single popular video was of an escalating prank war between her and Scamp that ended in a draw with them both unceremoniously getting into trouble with their parents, although Dani likes to still maintain that she won just because she got off very slightly lighter than he did.

To Annette, her channel is a place to show off her common sense; she will make videos about various improbable "life hacks" that she's heard of, with the specific intention of disproving them. No silly misinformation is going to be found on her corner of the internet, thank you very much!

While the question means nothing to her default verse, in her Zootopia (or potential human) AUs, I see Cera having a channel where she tells spooky stories, and then goes on to elaborate on how she apparently has encountered and beaten up each of their respective monsters personally. YouTube is like her new best friend; she likes that in the comments she can reply to anyone who doesn't believe her stories with "yeah, well, you're stupid" and, unlike at school, no-one can stop her!

Even when translating her to a modern verse, I don't see pre-canon Angry as having a channel at all; she sees it as a waste of time, and the only thing she uses YouTube for - on public library computers - is to find videos of the places she and Red are planning to rob next, to scout them out ahead of time. After being adopted by Lance, however (the only piece of season three lore that I will accept into my portrayal!), she does start a channel herself, consisting of her own parkour videos, or otherwise videos of her doing daring (and / or stupid) stunts... she doesn't even much care if anyone watches them, it's mostly just her way of blowing off steam, since otherwise she's doesn't really know how to do that in an actual family environment.

As for Angel... I'm not sure. Speaking of human!verse again, of course; but while she was in Buster's gang I don't see her doing anything of that nature, even assuming their run-down old house next to the junkyard had internet access. I don't think she'd have seen anything in her life as worth making videos of, and the topic she did have a lot to say on - the subject of family - she wouldn't dare make anything about just in case they found their way to Buster's attention. And then after joining Scamp's family...

I still don't really see it for her, honestly. She might take videos of a lot of family moments, but I think that would only be for her own memories, and not to make public. She'd absolutely be there with helping out the girls (or Scamp, assuming he had one too) with stuff for their own channels, spending time with her new family is always the top of her to-do list and she would enjoy being involved, but I think she'd be happy with just that.

She wasn't even going to dignify that with an answer beyond the scornful snort, stomping on ahead of the others as she was. Honestly, Cera had had it with all of them right now; Littlefoot's optimism and attempts at friendliness grated on her, and the others weren't acting much better in her view. This was a rough world, her family had quickly taught her that one had to be rough to survive it, and she couldn't understand why none of the others got that.

She probably wasn't being entirely fair, Cera knew. She liked Ducky and Petrie okay when they were gushing over her bravery, and she didn't even, like, hate Littlefoot or anything. She just didn't understand him, and that fact got under her skin something fierce... that, and the fact that he didn't believe her (in fairness grossly exaggerated) story the way the others all did.

It made her want to show him up, more than anything.

She simmered to herself as she kept up the march. Honestly, Spyro wasn't as wrong as she might want him to be; irritations aside, everything her dad had ever taught her about three-horns not mixing with the other kinds aside, her own pride aside... she almost could see being friends with Littlefoot. At least in part.

And that was what bugged her about him so much.

She glanced up at the sound of someone drawing closer behind her, almost expecting it to be Littlefoot, but couldn't muster much surprise when it turned out to be Spyro instead. He, at least, seemed a bit older than the rest of them, which made him easier to confide in to some degree... even if she felt like she didn't really get him either. Further back, she could see Littlefoot corralling the other three, which left her and Spyro alone in the lead again for now.

She huffed, blowing out some - but not all - of her anger.

"I don't know how you and the others stand that guy." She jerked her head back in Littlefoot's direction. "Always acting like he knows best all the time."

She was one to talk... but it was just obvious to Cera. Littlefoot couldn't very well know best - otherwise he wouldn't keep disagreeing with her when she very clearly was the one who was always in the right.

{🔥}—; “So you’re not even gonna try? C'mon, I’m sure if you were gonna give ‘em a chance maybe you’ll like them. Look at Sparx, he doesn’t look the same as me but he makes for a great pal.” Spyro tried to explain to her, cause her sisters were one thing but to cut off the chance to make other friends on purpose seemed really odd to him.

Though he turned his attention back to Littlefoot as he started talking to him again, not wanting to ignore him. “I bet you’re right, I’ve been in rough places like this where there’s rocks everywhere or sand, and you’d think there’s nothing around. But sometimes ya get lucky and find somethin’ good.”

Spyro hoped this would once again be another one of those times. Peace Keepers was a harsh climate like this too, but there was still the occasion set of plants around. “Yes, I’m pretty sure and the best thing to do is not to worry 'bout it and we’ll figure it out.”

The little dragon recognized that she was in a way challenging them, and he decided to play along as he started to march in the same direction that she did. Taking her up on it as he beckoned the others to follow, though the more she let out her frustration he had to wonder why Cera was being so rough when the others were only trying to help as far as he could see.

Either way he was still going to keep his word about keeping the rest of them safe if anything else wanted to try and attack.

First off, I think Webby would like to remind everyone that she canonically spent like five minutes as the "goddess of sunny friendship get-along time", so her answer is at least an easy one!

Besides her... hm. Assuming a premise similar to that episode, where the characters get to choose what their areas would be for a test...

Cera, I think, would want to be a goddess of bravery.

Da Vinci Dalmatian, naturally, a goddess of artists.

Angel would, if the choice was up to her, want to be seen as the goddess of family; but given her terrible luck on that count, she might well end up being a goddess of self-reliance or something instead, which she would roll with but not be particularly happy about.

Annette, Collette and Danielle would probably remain a trio together in that context, perhaps of a bit more of a classic style; Collette perhaps being a goddess of beauty, Annette a goddess of intelligence, and Dani... I'm not sure, but something that complements the other two while at the same time being a little off-beat from them, mirroring their dynamic in canon.

Honestly I think if Gosalyn was anything, it would probably be the goddess of chaos...!

Connie, I feel, would follow the classical mythology 'Athena' route, taking roles as a goddess of both wisdom and battle.

Sympathy, it had to be admitted, was not Cera's strong point. In the past she simply hadn't needed it; as the youngest of four sisters, the daughter of doting parents, she had never had to give concern for others... that was the older family members' job. She always could be as brash as she wanted, and everyone would just accept it.

Of course... that had been before she'd had friends. The concept was still one that was growing on Cera, if she was honest; and while Littlefoot and Ducky and everyone meant the world to her...

She still had a long way to go to learn how to show that.

"Maybe you just ate some bad green food?"

She wasn't trying to be dismissive, she really wasn't, and after a moment the three-horn hastened to justify herself.

"I think that everything here in the Valley should be good, but once out in the Mysterious Beyond, I ate some green food that my Dad told me I shouldn't have, and it made me really sick. Is that what it is?"

As a girl who spent much of her life angry, she also hadn't quite caught on that certain emotions could equally cause feelings of unwellness for those less used to them.

She squinted at his eagerness to help for a moment more, before deciding to accept it at face value. If Chomper didn't eat her overnight while he had the chance - which she still wasn't convinced he wouldn't - then it would seem silly to expect him to be trying to lead her into a trap after passing up this far easier opportunity. There came a point where not even she could expect the worst forever...

It just depended on her surviving the night without getting chewed on.

"Really?" She perked up as the boy recognised her description. To think that she'd actually got close to her goal...! A bit of her characteristic smugness broke through her fear.

"Wait until Littlefoot and the others learn I've found it! That'll teach them to say I was just being stupid!"

Getting a bit ahead of herself, maybe. Over the passing time, Cera had got better about pre-emptive gloating, at least - once it blew up in your face too many times, you could hardly help but get the point - but that didn't mean she had completely broken the habit. She'd honestly been starting to wonder if the others hadn't been right; so the validation felt incredibly good.

Her burst of high spirits faded again, though, as Chomper explained what things were like out here. She knew it, a little; she and their friends had travelled many days and nights through the beyond to reach the Great Valley for the first time, but they had been much more focused on simply surviving than on understanding how those who lived out here thought. It did sound lonely as he described it.

She shook her head forcefully at Chomper's question.

"Not at all. The Great Valley has enough food for everyone; my father told me that was why all the herds were going there in the first place. We've got as much green food we could ever want; that's what makes it the best place in the world."

That and it being safe... from sharpteeth like him. But even if Cera was never the most careful with her words, she could still guess that saying something like that could hurt Chomper's feelings... and while her thoughts regarding him were still complicated to say the least, she also wasn't purposefully trying to upset him.

"Do you remember anything about the Great Valley?" she asked instead, head tilting quizzically. He'd been pretty young, so she wouldn't be surprised if not, but still. Now that the subject had drifted that way, she was curious.

"You were hatched there, after all."

“Yeah! We don’t eat plants but this one sounds important for you, so I want to help find it.“

Just because it's not in his diet doesn't mean he should leave his friends hanging, right? They taste yucky to him but if Cera came all the way out here because of a flower, why wouldn't he help? It would be fun to spend some time with a friend again too. Chomper listened at the description, making a mental note of it and pondering if he took notice of one like that before.

“I think it gtows on a hill around here? I've only took note of something like that in brief passing but we can try and locate it in the morning?"

Chomper tilted his head at the changing atmosphere and at the pause - though he genuinely appreciates the sentiment. It means a lot coming from Cera.

Littlefoot was always the one he had spend the most time with during both of their encounters - he still has no idea how the others actually feel about him. But he knows that because of his species, well...trust was difficult and he does not blame them.

“Thanks, Cera. I mean, I’ve got you and the others but.. different worlds? I guess? It's just how sharpteeth - or everyone in the mysterious beyond is. It's always about the territory."

I'm not sure exactly how the inhabitants of the Great Valley measure time, but judging by the first movie I'd say that Cera probably tends to go to bed a little after sunset. That, at least, seemed to be the case while the five of them were travelling to the valley, so left to her own devices that would probably be the bedtime she'd keep.

However I also feel like when being told when she should be going to bed, by her dad or otherwise, it can be a bit of a different story: once he's confident that she's settled, if she doesn't fall straight asleep, she can tend to get up and wander when she shouldn't, whether that's to chase hoppers (as in the first movie), to wake Littlefoot and the others for a secret nighttime meeting (second movie), or what. In those cases she's more likely to keep herself up far too late and just sort of crash when she gets too tired.

I wouldn't say Cera's particularly concerned with checking the weather, no. Even in a context where there would be an accessible weather forecast, like her Zootopia verse, I think she just wouldn't give it a thought. She sees herself as such a tough little thing, I imagine that she'd mostly just shrug off rain or other bad weather out of sheer stubbornness.

That said, she does have her fear of thunder. While I feel if she was warned that there might be a thunderstorm she'd just bluster her way through the warning and convince herself that it wouldn't come to anything, if it seemed like it was going to be a certainty then that would be a different story entirely: she'd avoid saying that she was scared for as long as she possibly could, but good luck convincing her to go out anywhere if there's the threat of a thunderstorm on the horizon.

I think my favourite descriptor of her is Boastful, stubborn butt of a baby triceratops girl! She's very full of herself, having been raised to believe in her species' superiority over other kinds of dinosaurs, and she desperately wants to be seen as braver than anyone else. To this end she's not above exaggerating her exploits, or outright belittling others, stubbornly resisting any contradiction... but beneath this front she's really still just a kid who wants to feel like she's seen as being worth something and mistakenly thinks that this is the way to do it.

Yeah, she was suitably sceptical. The little three-horn huffed, kept her distance, and shot the adult flyer several dirty looks. It did, perhaps, occur to Cera that she wasn't being completely fair - Pterano had saved Ducky after all... although it also wasn't lost on her that if not for him Ducky wouldn't have needed saving in the first place - but suspicion ran deep.

Like father, like daughter, she supposed.

Still, if it was anyone's fault that she had run into him this time, Cera supposed it was only her own. She was the one who was out in the Beyond, after all - albeit for important reasons of her own - so it wasn't like he was anywhere that he shouldn't be. Still, Cera didn't feel inclined to take the infamous flyer at his word.

She turned away, a scoff on her lips.

"It's going to take a lot more than words to make me believe you're suddenly reformed. What, you're gonna tell me you haven't gone chasing after any more dumb rocks lately, either?"

Misc. Ask Meme 💓 - What are some signs they’ve fallen for someone? How do they show their affection?

Much like many other more sensitive emotions, I feel like Cera would be absolutely terrible at showing gentle feelings for someone. I can't say for sure, it's hard to imagine her falling for anyone really except maybe Littlefoot when they're older, but I definitely feel like she'd at first more get blushy and defensive rather than let such perceived vulnerable emotions show. She's certainly not going to make it easy for anyone who she has a crush on to get her to open up... in that hypothetical future Littlefoot stands a better chance that most because the two already share an understanding... but some poor stranger who she gets a crush on? Yeah, good luck to them, they're going to have a time of it.

Once she comes to terms with how she feels, though... I think her affection comes in two flavours. First is the soft moments, the ones that she would never let anyone else know about, not even her other best friends, where she does nice things for the partner in question in absolute private moments: making sure to get their favourite type of green food and other things they like, and such. Second is the grand gestures where, while much less intimate, she will shamelessly stand up for them in public at any point she feels it necessary while, and will also loudly dedicate some of (what she sees as) her brave deeds to them.

The one thing, more than any other, that Angel will never understand is how someone with a good home and a loving family could possibly ever abandon that or fail to appreciate what they have. It's just... incomprehensible to her. That, right there, is everything she's ever wanted out of life: if the family's bad then okay, that she'd understand, but a family that's genuinely caring and good?

She'd give quite literally anything for that, and even once she finally has it for herself she could never comprehend how someone could chose to give it up unless they had literally no other choice.

For Cera, validating her ego by acknowledging her bravery - and, by extension, tacitly turning a blind eye to times when she does act scared - is absolutely the fast track to her good side. She so desperately wants to be seen as brave and unafraid, that any acknowledgement of that being the case really does go a long way with her.

I think a good example of this is in movie 5, when - after running and cowering from what she thinks is a scary sharptooth that turns out to be Chomper - she deliberately asserts to Littlefoot that she wasn't scared, which he just calmly accepts and doesn't bring it up again: it shows they've reached a level of understanding, and just that acceptance that she isn't seen as any less brave for it is something that Cera would genuinely appreciate.

As per Darkly Dawns the Duck, for Gosalyn on the most personal level it's tied up in acknowledging, basically, that she's a good kid despite her very chaotic nature. "I'm not a problem child! I just have a lot of spirit..." someone who accepts this, as Darkwing did, will see her warming up to them far more quickly than anyone else would.

Also, she's a pretty materialistic girl - she's just a kid, give her a break! - so physical gifts are also a quick way to her heart: especially if they're things that appeal to whatever she's currently invested in. I see Gos as a girl of fleeting passionate hobbies alongside the permanent interests she has in things like horror movies, so indulging her interests in those will also be appreciated.

For Angel... I mean, the obvious answer is simply giving her food and / or family. But more than that, I think, for her it's really... making her feel like she matters is the thing that Angel appreciates the most. She's gone through so many families that didn't stick with her, and then falling in with Buster's pack and his don't care for anyone mentality... not only is she a mess of abandonment issues, her self-worth is genuinely shot to pieces too. She hides it well, but all her confidence is based on what she can do, her survival skills, and none of it is on who she is on a personal level: it's all but stated in the movie that she doesn't see herself as a good person. So even if you can't offer her a home or a long-term family, just giving her time and patience and showing her that yes, she matters is really, really valuable to her.

So, this is what I’ve been working on this last week!

I had the idea a while ago, actually. Thought it would be fun to do a picture of all my muses interacting; and since they’re all kids anyway, having them all attend school together seemed a natural idea. I thought I might use it as my blog header in the future, in fact, though I dunno.

I wanted to get it finished in my end-of-year cleanup. I, heh, started the rough sketch when I had just eight muses, so when I decided to pick it back up, I had to extend the picture to add in the additional four puppies as well!

I was undecided for a while on whether to go for the uniforms or not; but I felt like it read more obviously as a school scene if they were all wearing them. Plus, it’s what I’m used to from my own experiences.

I’m honestly really happy with the end result here?

Just wanted to share these! The ones in the first line are probably familiar, they've been decorating my 'primary muses' page for a while now; and I just today drew up the rest of the canon characters I play on here to make the 'secondary muses' page match!

...okay, the observant will notice that this is NOT all of my canon muses: Terra is missing. I tried to include her too, but just couldn't get her looking good today so I decided to just focus on getting everyone else's done instead; she'll be added in the future.

That means that, yeah, I'm going to be removing Terra from my muses page for the time being. She's not going anywhere, is still on this blog; but without a nice matching image for her I feel like it would make the page look messy xD; She's still available for RP and asks and everything; and she'll be back on the page as soon as I get up an image for her, too.

Protective sentence starters

The sentiment, expressed as suddenly as it had been, was unexpected enough to stop Cera in her tracks. Whatever she'd been about to say died unspoken on the little three-horn's lips as she looked down at her much smaller friend and tried to grasp for a suitably smug response.

For once, such a thing eluded her.

The truth of the matter was, though, that Cera simply wasn't used to such sincerity. She certainly didn't show it, at least not more than very very rarely, and she didn't expect to receive it either. It was just the kind of girl she was, and the kind of relationship she had with her friends; any real sincerity, she would guard herself against with a buffer of bluster and boastfulness.

"Well-- you know, I--"

But Ducky had simply caught her too much off her guard; and even as Cera opened her mouth wide to make some such egotistical comment, she knew the moment just wasn't right for it. Ducky... actually seemed to mean this, and not even Cera could find it in herself to just blow that off.

"Well, we're friends. What else would I do?"

That didn't mean the sincere response wasn't awkward for her.

Send 🗝 to force my muse to talk about a topic they never want to speak of

"You think I'm actually going to talk about being scared? Ha, fat chance! I don't get scared!"

The scoff, the denial, was supposed to be the end of the conversation right there. And yet, somehow, inexplicably, Cera found that she could hardly stop herself; I was like she suddenly had to talk about it and, try as she might, she couldn't contain the abrupt flow of words.

"Except... that's a lie, and I know it's a lie. I don't want anyone else to ever know it, I'm the brave one, it's just who I AM... I'm not the scaredy one, that's Petrie, or- or sometimes Ducky. Not me!"

"But I... I have been scared. Am scared... more often than I want to admit."

Every word felt like pulling teeth, but somehow Cera knew that she wasn't going to be able to stop until she'd got to the heart of the matter.

"I get scared of storms. I was scared of the big Sharptooth. I was scared when I woke up and thought I was all alone. I... I was really scared when I'd led everyone else off my own way and then lost them all and it was just me all on my own and I... I..."

Even if it had been obvious to everyone at the time, she felt so deeply ashamed to actually be admitting it aloud - for as much as she had matured since they had reached the Great Valley, there were some things that she was never going to get comfortable doing, and admitting her own vulnerabilities was one of them. And the next thing she had to admit, well...

WELL...

Her voice came out uncharacteristically small.

"And I'm scared of losing my friends. I've led them into trouble before, and if something happened to them, and it was because of me..."

The little three-horn girl buried her face in her foreleg, her voice coming out shameful and muffled.

"Ugh. Don't tell anyone this. ANYONE. And ESPECIALLY not Littlefoot."

Sure, he was her best friend. But the two of them had an understanding; he would acknowledge her blustering that she wasn't scared in any given situation with just a knowing smile and take her at her word. If he heard anything of this, though, Cera was certain that he'd never let her live it down.
