Skating for fun, for enjoyment, for the love of it is something they ONLY DO AND SHARE TOGETHER. It is that special to them. They are that special to each other. Yes they both find enjoyment in coaching/mentoring others but her (and I’m certain his as well) love of it only exists when it is with him and in memory of their partnership. She would not have done this at all had it not been for him. That is so amazing and and so magical. That this huge part of their lives is still only something they share. I preach this every single day yet I still cry hearing it coming straight from them. Someone pass me the tissues.

It's been frequent to see you drowning in your own pool of miserableness.

Ever since he had left your apartment, the banging sound of the door haunting your ears as you stare at it. The home that you had shared began to radiate a grave for your brokeness, the warmth that embraced you for two years began to freeze on your skin, covering the room in speckles of ice sickles acting like a dagger that could go through your body.

By the time his feet led him to his own home, the setter began to wonder if his steps could just end up back to you. If another mile meant another waste of chance, how many more can he take just to accept the fact that he wasn't the man you were meant to wed?

He should've accepted it way before he was given the best opportunity in his life. The moment he had loved you was a sign that he was in it for the long run, no more take backs. He didn't want to leave, no amount of love could make him.

Alike volleyball, Atsumu has the ability to keep the ball as high as he can without allowing it to fall to the ground.

In the case of love, he had similar skills but even the universe doesn't guarantee him a win.

So when the blonde twin had realized that love was a play of dirty tricks and unexpected flaws, he began to fight against it— the duty of having to keep the romance as high as he can started to fall on his own hands, demanding that he try harder but it falls short as of usual.

It wasn't that his amor for you has subsided, it was the fact that he knows that once he stays longer, he'll never be able to suffice what you deserve.

His words were either a kiss of bliss or a strike to your heart. You needed him and he certainly felt the same. You were two pieces that fit like lost souls but the boy you love cannot withstand the damage that he has done.

So now when he holds the ball in his hands, a memory taunts him of his decisions.

"You're my world." He whispers as his hands cup your cheeks as you smile at his words while he places a kiss on your forehead. You leaned onto his hand, bringing him closer to you as Atsumu feels his heart explode when you embraced him, your hands going into his hair, comforting him with your promise to be with him forever.

He serves the ball with immense force, before the tears rim around his eyes as he looks to the empty seat in the crowd where you used to belong.

And now you're the star I can only love from afar.

i watched 4x03 yesterday and while much of it has already fled from my memory, as all episodes of riverdale do, i still have Thoughts:

- you know, rewatching these episodes knowing what goes down in 4x17, you actually do see that there’s some hint of romantic longing between -- lol jk, Betty could not give less of a shit about Archie and his rec center in this episode. when they’re trying to brainstorm moneymaking ideas she’s like “idk cupcakes?” and they never share the screen again.

- moving on: does it feel to anyone else like Bret moves extremely quickly from pretentious but harmless dbag to completely vitriolic asshole in this episode? like in 4x02 he’s just like “hello old sport, come enjoy our keto vegan feast” and in this episode he’s like “FUCK YOU, TRAILER TRASH” without any real explanation for why? unless it’s his reaction to Jughead being dismissive of his story, which...I guess tracks nevermind ignore this entire paragraph

- also Bret’s story: “my mother asks for help with the turkey, and i wonder, vaguely, when she’ll die.” HAHA. when the writers know what they’re doing, they know what they’re doing.

- the treatment of Donna in this episode is interesting, she gives Jughead “advice” about dealing with Bret after he walks in on her making out with Moose, and then when she wins the little story contest the background music has this very sweet, “look at quiet Donna having her Moment” feel to it. I’m truly undecided on whether they had already zeroed in on her as the ultimate villain at this point. you just never know with this dumb show.

- the early scene with Jughead & Betty saying goodbye in his dorm room is just, AHHHHHH, MY HEAAARTTTT. “you and me are in this for the long haul.” brb just gonna go drown in my own tears

- i also completely forgot that this episode ends with the two of them snuggling on the couch, it’s so CUTE my GOD

- Hiram is legitimately kind of scary/threatening in his scene with Veronica, for perhaps the first time ever

- this episode is really a lesson in how Betty Cooper Gets Shit Done. need $250k in fancy eggs? she’s on it. how about an empty bus? done. oh but what about - 4 dozen blank US passports? yeah, she’s got that too.

- that said, her own brother - her FBI agent brother - telling HER to disarm the bomb strapped to Polly may truly be the craziest thing that’s ever happened on this show

- I’ve never seen Chad Michael Murray in anything other than Riverdale, but he is really a delight in this episode. as @earthlaughsinflowersblog says: he knows what show he’s on.

- I know we’re all supposed to be excited for Toni to get more screentime in season 5...and like I’m happy for Vanessa Morgan as an actor if that does turn out to be the case, since she’s probably so fucking bored of this job, but...............you’re never going to convince me Toni is a character I want to see more of, when her reaction to finding her girlfriend sewing up a hole in her dead brother’s corpse is “omg babe WHAT are u doing right now *frowns*”

Just finished S4E22 lads............................and i am deceased bc i have drowned to death under all of my tears

That three episode span was like a rollercoaster if the rollercoaster started at the top of a cliff and then went vertically down all the way to hell bc i am literally just. in shock. 

when it ended like that i literally screamed on the trail bc my legs were dying and i didn’t have enough time to listen to the next episode but Sam can’t be dead??????? Like there’s no way that’s not possible i do NOT accept it. We’re gonna go for this retrieval mission and he is going to be safe and sound bc runner five will literally break if he’s actually dead. He mentioned there being a cage in the room, maybe he hid in that???? I’m just.....and you KNOW if Five wasn’t holding the baby and if Sam hadn’t told her to run she would be breaking her own bones to get the bars off that window to save him. It’s literally her nightmare scenario, she’s petrified of losing people she cares about and could never even FATHOM a life without sam in it. 

AND WHAT WAS UP WITH THE MULLINS SENTIENT ZOM WITH FIVE’S FACE??? And was it tom who planted those comansys landmines or is someone else out to kill five? At the end of the episode i was mentally begging moonchild to come back and help Five help Sam, although i imagine Moonchild was pretty pleased all things considered.

Or maybe he did. Maybe he just didn’t care so long as Riko kept her monster on a leash. Erin shoved the thought aside. 

“Eri,” Ania called as she stumbled towards her. “You were ‘mazin,” she slurred. 

“Very impressive, Erin,” Kevin chimed in, in a rare show of respect. Ania’s legs gave out beneath her as she made it to the final row. Erin flinched hard as Ania landed atop her, giggling up a storm. Before Erin could shove her off, Ania opened that damned mouth of hers. 

“That’s my Eri.” Her voice was hoarse and ragged from screaming at her teammates all night. That combined with the warmth of her breath ghosting across Erin’s throat was enough to send a shiver down her spine. Suppressing any other outward display of pleasure her body threatened to display, Erin looked at Ania. To her horror, Ania was looking right back. One of her eyebrows was cocked as a sly smile tugged at her lips. Hauling herself off Erin with shaky arms, she remained straddling her. “Someone’s excited,” she murmured. Erin growled as she looked for something, anything else to look at. She made the mistake of looking down. 

Riko had a habit of placing Ania in the most scandalous scraps of clothing. With the way Ania sat, Erin had a clear view down the front of the slinky silk shirt she wore. She wasn’t wearing anything under it. Darkness had fallen long ago. Erin just hoped it was dark enough to hide her burning ears. 

“Ania,” Riko called. Her voice was thick and cloying. Draping herself across the seat across the aisle, she spread her legs invitingly. “Come celebrate with me, darling.” Ania slid off Erin to join Riko. Out of the corner of her eye, Erin watched as Kevin deflated. Jeanie’s brows knitted together in concern at his obvious distress. The half-hearted smile he flashed at her did nothing to hide the pain painting his features. 

The bus’s engine purred to life. The sound of the tires on asphalt was nowhere near loud enough to drown out the sound of Riko getting off. Jeanie had abandoned her seat and joined Kevin to avoid getting jostled by the activity in the one behind her. Peering over the top of their seat, Erin found that they’d fallen asleep. A spike of envy shot through her chest as she watched Jeanie nuzzle into the crook of his neck. Instinctively, Kevin wrapped an arm around her. 

If we’d grown up together, would Aaron hold me like that? she wondered. The thought came unbidden and left her feeling far more hollow than usual. Settling back down into her seat, Erin let her thoughts drift back to her family. She hadn’t heard from Aaron and Nicky in nearly six months. A shudder passed through her as she remembered the unspoken threat of what would happen to them if she crossed Riko or the Master. 

“Erin,” Riko said. The annoyance in her voice made it obvious that it wasn’t the first time she’d said it. Erin dragged her gaze over to her just as they passed beneath a streetlight. Riko’s lips were swollen, her hair a mess, her jeans undone. “I’m bored,” Riko continued. “Come play with us.” The darkness fell over them once more but Erin could still see the mischievous glint in her eyes. 

“Ko.” Ania’s voice was soft, pleading. A scowl marred Riko’s perfect features. “You promised you wouldn’t touch her.” The words sent a jolt down Erin’s spine. Her thoughts went back to that horrid Christmas night. Riko had mentioned something about Ania making a deal with her then. Was this part of it? What had Ania given up to protect her? The manic light dancing in Riko’s eyes brought Erin back to the present. 

“I can’t touch her, but you can.” The smile on Riko’s face was sharp and venomous. Ania’s eyes grew wide. “Go on now, babe. Go play with Eri.” Slowly, Ania turned to look at Erin. 

“She’s drunk,” Ania said in German. “She’ll fall asleep soon. Let me sit with you until she does.” The desperate look in Ania’s eyes worried Erin. “Erin, please.” Tears were welling in Ania’s eyes, her fear getting the better of her. The desperate plea, the tears, the fear… it was all too much for Erin. 

Suddenly, Erin was six again. She felt the weight of Walter Hughs bearing down on her. Stale alcohol stained his breath. Sweat dripped down his forehead into her eyes. It mixed with her tears. A scream tore from her chest. 

“Please,” she sobbed. “Please! Let me go.” Struggling against the rope binding her wrists and ankles only forced them to bite deeper into her skin. His hips snapped up and pain coursed through her body.

“You’re so pretty when you beg,” he crooned. His laughter echoed through her skull. 

“Jude,” a voice said. Someone was sitting beside Erin. Her hand shot out, wrapping around their neck. Erin felt their breath catch. Passing beneath another streetlight, Erin caught sight of her prisoner. The glow of the lamp illuminated her face for no more than a few seconds but Erin would remember it for the rest of her life. 

Ania’s ice blue eyes had thawed. There was a steadiness in her gaze. Despite the hand closed around her throat, there was a trust in Ania’s eyes that Erin had never been regarded with before. Slowly but surely, Erin managed to pry her own grip off of Ania’s throat. 

“Don’t ever do that again,” Erin snarled. 

“I didn’t mean to scare you,” Ania replied. 

“No. Don’t say ‘please’.” Ania cocked her head to one side. Erin refused to explain herself any further. After a moment, Ania dropped it. Glancing back, she checked on Riko. A small smile tugged at the corners of her lips. 

“Told you she’d fall asleep soon.” Erin craned her neck over Ania and saw that she was right. Riko was already asleep. Erin sighed and let herself sag against the windowsill. She could feel the weight of Ania’s gaze on her. 

“What?” she finally asked. Ania sat there, working her jaw the way she always did when she couldn’t quite find the words she was looking for. “Spit it out.”  

“I speak five languages but there aren’t enough words in any of them to tell you how beautiful you are.” Ania said with a softness that Erin was wholly unprepared for. Entering into town, store signs cast light into the bus, allowing Erin to see properly. The sight of Ania made Erin feel as though she’d jumped off a ledge. Ania was staring at Erin as though she’d hung the stars. Erin slid her hand into the sleeve of her jacket. Pinching her skin so hard it was sure to bruise informed her that this was, in fact, real. 

“Oh,” was all she could manage in response. Witnessing the sunrise of Ania Wesninski’s smile was an honor Erin didn’t think she was worthy of. To have caused the radiant smile that now shone across her face was something else entirely. Everytime Erin started to think that she’d lost the ability to feel, Ania proved her wrong. 

“Let me look a little while longer,” she said. “There’s nothing quite as beautiful as you in my father’s house.” Erin inhaled sharply. It was Friday. That meant Lola would be waiting for them in the parking lot. Ania had only been a little tipsy when she’d gotten onto the bus. Normally, she’d be too drunk to function by now. “Ko stole my tequila,” Ania said, answering Erin’s unasked question. “Maybe I can get drunk on you instead.” 

“Yes.” The word was barely out of her mouth before Erin felt the press of Ania’s lips against hers. They were soft and warm from kissing Riko minutes earlier. Those thoughts flew out the window as Ania moaned into the kiss. Nothing mattered after that. Erin’s world started and stopped with Ania. All Erin knew was the warmth of their bodies pressed so close together, the slide of Ania’s tongue against hers, and their shared breaths. With great difficulty, Erin broke away. Her heart wrenched at Ania’s soft whimpering. Ania had always been impatient. 

Erin wrapped her arm around Ania’s waist, drawing her flush against her. Taking a moment, she closed her eyes to make sure she was still okay. Only minutes ago, Erin had nearly succumbed to a panic attack just from hearing Ania’s pleas. Laying her head into the crook of Ania’s neck, Erin breathe deeply to calm her nerves. She wanted this so, so bad. No one was going to take this away from her. Except Riko, she thought. Ania Wesninski would never be Erin’s, she was too good for her. This was too good for her. There is no this, Erin reminded herself. 

But there was. Pulling back, Erin saw Ania watching her. Her lips were far more swollen, red, and bruised than they’d been earlier. Dragging her thumb across them, Erin felt as though she knew every ridge and valley of them. Nipping at Ania’s collarbone, Erin almost smiled at the little gasp it elicited. She felt a hand take hers and watched as Ania brought it up to her mouth. Her heart stuttered as Ania brushed kisses across her knuckles. Her heart stopped when Ania pushed down the sleeves of her jacket to expose the rivers of scars that crisscrossed Erin’s arms. Erin Jude Minyard didn’t cry easily but there was no stopping the tears that flowed down her face as Ania began to kiss over the scars racing up and down Erin’s arm. 

Never in Erin’s life had she wanted anything more than she wanted Ania now. Nothing would ever stop the ache of her heart or the longing she felt down to her bones but nights like this would be enough. They had to be. If this was all she could have, then she had to learn to live with it or not live at all.

In all fairness, this was far more than Erin had ever dreamt of having. Growing up, she’d always imagined a relationship with Ania being nothing more than hate-sex, that was if she happened to get lucky. This was so much more. This was her smiling and laughing at her. This was her kissing and cuddling her. This was Erin baring the ugliest parts of herself and being accepted, not in spite of her flaws, but for them. There was a ‘this’. They were a ‘thing’. A thing Erin knew she couldn’t keep.

The slow zone background still fucks with me. 'Just fade in on my highschool screensaver' is how I imagine the conversation about the slow zone background went. Which isn't to say it's not done well, because that's skill, but the aesthetic is killing me. Anna! Fucking spicey af. Tell me she didn't enjoy that backhand. Was it a backhand? In my mind it was. Pastor backhand. You know she's gonna be feeling that in an hour, too. And look at her reaching for any reason to justify what Melba did. And coming out empty handed. Because Melba is running on empty and you can't give what you don't think you have. But I'm not the best person to talk about Melba so I'll leave it there. 'I just got my family back.' 'Whole team.' Brb drowning in my tears. Look at them coming together again. Alex refusing to be separated because it look him years to be comfortable with himself and what he wants from himself and his life. And beyond that, he found a group of people who accept him. Who look at his flaws and say bring it in and be refuses to lose that again. Not after the hell that separation brought.

I really really should be focused on how badly holden and naomi want to find each other but all I can focus on his holden’s biceps. where the FUCK did they come from. Do they grow 2 inches every time he says or hears naomi;s name? fuck. someone needs to replace all of his wardrobe with hanleys. 

I permanently claim drummer for my team. She can sit right next to naomi, who is also on my team.  Some real talk though, Drummer makes me so damn weak. Because she's such a fucking beast but also because of the emotional weight that's crushing her in the past few episodes. On the cusp of what she wants, but it's all slipping through her fingers. And non of this is what she wanted but she doesn't quite know how to salvage it.  Ashford has me all sorts of confused. Offering his own blood instead of calling for it? Slapping on some layers so it's more painful when shit goes south? What's your deal dude because fuck, i'm conflicted.  im gonna need that gun back. That's fucking right. Okay okay okay, I loved that interaction but my mind is going a bit too quickly and I haven't quite processed what I want to take away from the scene and I’m probably going to have to have another word vomit sess to process. What I loved is that Amos still trusts Naomi and is still so quick to come to her defense. Things have shifted between them, but the core of their relationship is still there. 

Ashford using naomi's good will against her. Fuck yourself fuckface. In so many ways amos and anna can seem like such polar opposites, especially upon first introduction, but they're kinda fundamentally the same?? Which damn, isn't that a mindfuck. But also genius. And the juxtaposition between them just makes that connection so much more interesting. And I suddenly want them to have all their scenes together. I need to come back to this in a separate post.  My heart can't take this shit. I thought you came to check on me. The stutter of a breath when naomi asks drummer to help her find holden. I've never been so damn torn over my emotions.  Holden is b r e a k i n g holding naomi again. Absolutely breaking being back in her arms and i'm kinda breaking over drummer's expression, but damn, this is some powerful shit.  The 'they have no chemistry' quacks are clearly watching a different fucking show because all I'm feeling in that hug is holden's desperation to be back with naomi and the fear over the possibility of that never happening again. But here she is. His smart and capable and clever girlfriend found him - of course she did - and they're together and things aren't okay but they're okay. But seriously, theyre not. Alright, i'm Holden myself back (holden ->holding get it lolol) from making a comment about holden blaming himself for this entire mess. Chill out dude. Who brought the paladin along? But it’s such a holden thing to do. And having Melba/Clarissa overhear everything is a good set up into the next episode.

I’m not against Queenie going over to the Darkside. It’s very interesting. But it should have been WELL. WRITTEN??? Like wtf bitch turns on a fucking dime. Give her more than one scene to side with Hitler. And also when her boyfriend doesn’t want to go what’s her motivation at that point??? UGH.

This whole series has a major tone problem. We can track the rise and fall of Wizard Hitler and the quest to defeat him, or we can have unrelated misadventures with adorable magical creatures. Trying to do both is...uneven.

Ok so Leta switched the babies and no one knew. But they tracked the kid who went off with half-elf grannie and was handed off to the anti-witch foster mother (...ok) so everyone thought that that kid was LeBabyStrange. Meanwhile actual blood relative child was dead with the Titanic. Cue the Celine. So sad. Much tears. So in this world, there were 2 separate wizarding families transporting controversial male babies to America. On the Titanic. Two magical families -- in a world where Divination exists and is a real thing that people believe in -- decided to board the TITANIC with the magical babies they wanted to hide in America. Two of them. On the Titanic. Literally just...fuck off.

Are we really expected to deal with 3 more of these or is it just a trilogy? Because last I heard was 5 movies and I think I will cry. (“Just don’t see them!” BITCH YOU KNOW I’LL SEE THEM. FUCK.)

aw it´s still so underrated, GO READ THIS SERIES I BEG YOU. okay so part 16: this moment between PG and Pretty Boy was everything. also the relationship between Billiw and Reid makes me happy; they are so cute fml. part 17: he goes to visit the team ugggh. and also the reference to the donuts and when emily came back omg. i like how he continues to support her and how he nevertheless shows interest in what she is doing although he might not like it. such a good bf. i love it so much! great work!

ok folks, if you´re looking for a really good series, this is it! recommend 10/10. this is giving me life istg. one of the best angst series i read so far. they are one hell of a couple, i´m in love. it breaks my heart to see derek so devasted and lost and helpless, my poor baby. but the end was making up for everything. the suspense, and angst, i´m in heaven. def gonna reread it soon. go check it out. it´s so good! well done!

this was so good. i love how blind reid is. the team was so cute and supportive, understanding and caring. also reid at the end, worrying about the reader. but i´m happy everything turned out well :)
