So this is my first ever Thomesa fic created for Thomesa week 2023 day 4: Teresa lives/based on a song!

Follows Teresa through her life before the Flare, during her time at WICKED, and building a life with Thomas.

what, the name 'deedee' is only referenced 3 times in kill order? that can't be right, can it--although it's been a while since i last read it, and i didnt' pay attention to that so specifically, so maybe my memory is just off

i thought the scenes where we get to know her backstory at her village were quite elaborate? they painted a pretty full picture of what happened to me at least. (shuddering when i think about the guy who followed them onto the berg + what he said about her ToT)

but i feel like maybe i'm misunderstanding the ask, sorry if that's the case! you're welcome for the recs, love to plug teresa centric fics <33

Summary:

Kidnapped by WICKED as little kids, locked in rooms alone. Thomas doesn't know much about the kid in the room next door to his. He has only learned her age, her favorite color, that her name is Teresa, and that she has this one song that she sometimes hums to herself in the middle of the night.

Thomas awakens after a nightmare and reaches out to his friend from across the wall.

My first fic after a months-long hiatus!!!

This is the beginning of a Thomesa one shot collection that takes place in modern-day Seattle. There’s gonna be lots of fluff and some rep of the aro/ace spectrum.

Mentions of newtmas and brendaxthomas but they’re both one sided. There will be appearances of some side ships, one of which is a favorite and will be revealed later into the collection.
