Today has been a tomato day… I found baby plum tomatoes for 44p a punnet so grabbed 10 of them giving me enough to fill my dehydrator with sun blushed tomatoes. . . Then I found salad tomatoes for 27p a packet and grabbed 9 packs (I thought I had 10 but apparently I can’t count) and have started the process for making my mums tomato relish. . . So just to be clear here … I didn’t wipe out everything there were 4 massive totes of each type of tomato marked down. . . The amount of us blushed tomatoes I will get is 10 times the amount you would get in a specialty store for the same price. . . The tomato relish I will be getting around 10 times the amount I can purchase a similar product for for the same cost of this batch… . . Oh and why the tomato skins and cores??? Those will be added to the dehydrator tomorrow and grounded up for tomato powder. Added bonus!!!
