People who call Ganondorf a potential "techbro" don't understand the fundamental difference between a "techbro" and "a technical person". A techbro would entrust their life to technology, because having tech control every aspect of your life is the "future". A technical person who really understands how software and hardware work, and especially how exploitable it is, would not allow a single thing to be automated without ensuring they understand who has control over it, and more importantly ensuring they have sufficient control over it.

#joe moment#minecraft#OK small update#me and klai got to the end and killed the ender dragon over a week ago#so yippee. although the dragon ate my old armour early battle </3 lucky Ive been saving a bunch of netherite#and I did end up finding a nether fortress. very tempted to summon a wither...#grinding achievements has been fun#I've gathered my materials for a new home#though I currently have no idea where to build it.#I managed to find an end city#create an exp farm#and just finished making a creeper farm today#as u can see#a lot of chaos has been going on in my time playing solo#since im the only one who goes on the server quite often#hopefully I can find an ocean monument... or a trial chamber#im doing everything but build my house atm LOL#ALSO im not floating in this pic. Sometimes I think "perhaps I am engaging in some needless paranoia by compulsively downloading all of my favorite things and making a personal archive of them all" then something I like stops being available online and I go "oh, no I am extremely reasonable about doing this"
#i have an external hard drive that i download fic/art/posts onto specifically because stuff disappears off the internet all the time#but i have also been doing this with things like podcasts and yt videos and anime recently#it started off as a 'internet is a little spotty here so it is nice to have offline copies of things'#but now it is like. how do you guys make friends with people and then maintain the friendship
#this is a genuine question#i don’t think i have ever genuinely been this lonely before#like i’m in a relationship but friends-wise#i had a conversation with my coworker yesterday and came out of it almost crying#because i missed having normal conversations w people so much#that being said emma is moving two hours away and we will see each other at least once a month now#but im asking this genuinely because idk how to take that step of like. casual work friendship to a real one???#and having my fiance be the only person who knows what’s going on in my life and the only person i talk to#is like. dauntingly lonely and sad to think about 🥳#i literally don’t text anyone throughout the day i haven’t had even a casual conversation with a friend in who knows how long#i used to be in discord servers with people and i used to hang out with people online or in person and i used to have jokes with people#and now i have hunter and i have my cat and it’s crazy i’m not even isolating myself like.#i isolated myself my last two relationships and still had more friends than i do now in my healthy relationship when i’m ready for friends#i went to a local punk/hardcore show with hunter last friday and had so much fun but we had no friends there#and we got home and i just sat in that for a bit and then i started crying and i couldn’t stop and he just held me and rubbed my back#and i will delete this soon i just think the weekends make me sadder and lonelier than i normally am#and i think my coworkers no longer spending time with me and everyone being elsewhere and me being all alone all day#and then coming home and it just being my fiance and me#and that’s the only interaction i have with someone who’s not a student#it’s just making everything build up more and more and more#it’s just really getting to me#and then because i don’t do anything but work and hang out with my fiance that’s all i have to talk about#lol anyway. idk. i’m gonna take my effexor and go clean i guess#tate.txt

yeah so the grey particles are back. i think im genuinely just cursed (ignore my lack of health i was getting my ass handed to me by skyslimes then the server crashed pvfdnkmfl)

blergh compiling larger c++ projects is such a pain when you have no idea what youre doing
#tütensuppe#i took this sample code unfortunately i need 382616 other files to make it compile at all#trying to follow the instructions that use make and cmake but cmake is not installed#technically im allowed to install things on this server but uh im not sure if i should#we have meson installed Somewhere but translating 500 lines makefile to meson build file does NOT sound appealing to me rn#edit the dev server DOES have cmake installed! so im trying it there.#dont even need to transfer any files bc the home directories are mounted on all of these.

Update I have decided to just. Leave the AC unit in my office for now.
#server announcement#Went home with it and then I realized the whole house already have multiple AC units in it on its own.#I... don't know what to do with it but I might install it somewhere in the building. Maybe his office but I'm not sure if it'd fit.#If it was in my office I don't know if I'd use it even though it gets hot on the upper floors. :/.
