I was wondering - when do you think Tony really started seeing Steve as a real person rather than as Captain America? I don't think he's there yet by the end of Avengers 1, but he definitely is by Endgame.
Part of me thinks it isn't until the Siberia scene in CW when Steve finally does something completely incomparable with Tony's idea of Captain America, but I'm not sure. It could be earlier. Thoughts?
TONY QUESTION!!!!!!! I love Tony questions. Thank you for the ask! <3
Now this is something that I have actually thought about because it's so, so interesting to me, and it makes everything make sense when looking how he treats Steve in those early stages. I actually have a google doc sitting somewhere with my ramblings about this. If I find it, I'll link it.
As for your opinion? We're on the exact same wavelength. I am a firm believer that Tony seeing beyond Captain America did not happen any time before CW. I'm so serious. If I was forced at gunpoint (a bazooka at least) to budge a little, maybe sometime between AOU and CW, but 100% not any sooner. And definitely not by the end of AV1 - that little handshake at the end was more of an acknowledgement of respect rather than a "Wow, Steve Rogers is an actual person and not just an irrelevant piece of the Captain America boogeyman I've built in my head all these years!". In fact, I'll say that Tony's immediate and unwarranted hostility towards Steve in AV1 is a direct consequence of Tony not seeing him as an actual person. I know you know this, but I'm just saying it again for whoever else may be reading.
And it makes sense for it to be a process, yeah? I mean, even when Tony has the realization that Steve is human, he then has to learn how to understand him. I actually think that seeing Steve as Cap rather than as Steve makes Tony a lot more comfortable, too. If he's just Captain America, then why would he care about Tony's obvious hatred of him (and it's funny because Tony intentionally pushes Steve's buttons to get a reaction but probably equally hates and loves whatever reaction he gets). If he's just Captain America then of course he would be so unbreakable, so resilient, so unwaveringly uptight and good and heroic. If he was just Steve, then that would be kind of daunting for someone like Tony, I think. God forbid Tony thinks, "Oh God, Howard wasn't exaggerating." Because that just adds another layer of insecurity/shame. To think Tony wasn't being compared to (in his eyes) this unreachable, larger than life legend - no, he was being compared to some random guy that truly embodies everything good.
Anyways, another reason why I'm pretty positive this didn't happen until at least after AOU is because of something Tony says to Steve in that movie. After they all have their nightmares, Tony says something like, "It didn't seem to affect you". Now, this is Tony both pushing for a reaction and actually seeing Steve as some stone wall that bad things just bounce off of. Tony feels unsteady, panicked and unbelievably worried and he looks at Steve and to him, Steve looks fine. Perfectly fine. Partially because Steve isn't letting his pain come through and partially because well, Steve's not new to this he's true to this lol. His nightmare is actually just his life. Tony isn't really seeing that though...or rather, doesn't know how to see pass Steve's facade in order to see it. He can't read him, he doesn't understand him, so he's taking Steve's reaction at face value. Which well, I'm not gonna blame him for, but it sure is interesting to think about...I love it so much. I love Tony so much, GOD.
Even after CW, I think among all the anger, grief, and guilt Tony sat with, it might have taken a while to untangle Steve. He's almost forced to sit down and really think about Steve, his motivations, his life, ect...I'd do just about anything to see it play out. Everything in CW, especially the Siberia fight, pushes Tony to make sense of Steve and his choices in order to figure out how everything went so wrong so fast. It's the only way he's gonna reach any kind of acceptance.
Endgame Tony is so special to me especially because of this exact reason btw. Like, thinking about how much introspection he may have done about his entire relationship with Steve and finally being at ease with Steve in EG....It means the world to me, actually. I love Tony so much. This put me right in my Tony feels, I'm so serious. THAT'S MY MAN, MY MAN, MY MAN!!!
So yeah! I don't think I can say anymore without rambling and going on 1,001 tangents lol <3

How about 1, 15, 23 for the air your grievances ask game?
Hi! :-)
What's your biggest __[insert fandom]__ pet peeve(s)?
Oof, okay... I think my biggest pet peeve with the M/C/U fandom is how greedy certain pockets of it can be. When 80-95% of either the canon or fandom is catered to you, I don't get complaining so hard about the slim percentage that doesn't. It's infuriating. But I've talked about that a bunch in the past.
Something I don't think ever talked about is how this fandom drives me up the damn wall as a music nerd. The biggest example is folks describing the Guardians soundtracks/"Qu*ll's taste in music" as "80s music." No. No, they're not. They're mainly the 70s. I know, I counted, after the fandom nearly gaslit me into doubting my own knowledge. In fact, out of the trilogy, IW, the Gro/ot shorts, and the Holiday special, only Vol 3 and the Holiday special contain any 80s songs. (And for record, this isn't me shitting on the 80s or anything. I'm an 80s baby and love tons of music from that era. This is just me being an insufferable know-it-all, lol.)
Another one is constantly framing Sam's recommendation of Tro/uble Man as some kind of come on. Like, first of all, that album is mainly a score and the few lyrics that do exist on it are not sexy. Second of all, oh my God, there's more to Marvin than just sex jams, holy shit. It's very obvious that some are only familiar with stuff like "Let's get it on" and "Sexual Healing" and that's it and... I can't help it, that makes me so sad.
youtube
15. Name an aspect of __[insert character]__ that you think gets frequently overlooked in fanfiction characterizations/deserves more attention/exploration
I think fandom's really dropped the ball with post-EG Steve. We could've had sprawling epics with Steve creating timeline after timeline where he had full lives with every Av*nger and Guardian and whoever else and having D*ctor Who style adventures across space and time. But, noooope. Nada.
I'll also never understand how I've only ever seen one fic where Professor H*lk and Steve raise Baby!Scott. That's comedy gold, right there. And how the hell did Sh*-H*lk not spawn a ton of St*ve/Jen? Not to mention all the cool concepts WI? has given the fandom on a silver platter only for them to be completely ignored.
23. Share an unpopular opinion you have RE: __[insert fandom]__
At the risk of being skinned alive, I know that even people who don't ship St*cky romantically will say that they still love them as friends instead. And I... don't. I can't get into that dynamic, even platonically. Most of their relationship is told rather than shown and what little we are shown doesn't endear it to me at all. Fandom can scream "till the end of the line" until it's blue in the face, but that doesn't make up for its problems in the slightest. (And frankly, I think that was the main purpose of the line to begin with, but that's a whole other rant.) I mean, B*cky spends most of T/F/A coming off (to me) like a condescending prick towards Steve and then spends the rest of Steve's time in the films deliberately staying as far away as humanly possible. It feels very one-sided to me, overall. And why should I revere that period, but especially so when dynamics like the ones Steve has with S*m, N*t, and P*ggy exist? Dynamics where the love and respect is quite clearly mutual and they actively want to be in his life? There's just no contest as far as I'm concerned.
Now, in fairness, theirs isn't the only dynamic in the films that's way more tell than show nor is it the worst offender in terms of the discrepancy between what's told and what's shown, but again, those are other rants.
Sorry about this getting kinda long. I'd been holding that first rant in for a loooong time, lol, so thank you for sending this in and giving me the chance to finally get that off my chest. XD

How about 7, 8, and 16 for the grievances ask game?
Thank you for the ask! The game is here!
7) Without naming names what's something you've come across in a fic that made you genuinely uncomfortable/angry.
I happen to have a few answers to this, but I'll just list the first one that came to mind! Gonna be as vague as possible.
There was this one poly fic that I loooooovvvvveeeeeeeedddddd reading. Like when I say I was seated everyday, for every available hour, reading this fic. I MEAN it. Steve was the addition to the ship, I won't say the other two because it's a bit more identifiable. Anyways, the ship was great, the development of the characters was enjoyable and included some interesting headcanons for the other two in the ship that I haven't considered. And it seemed like the author was spending a certain amount of chapters per character to explore their psyche a bit more, yeah? So I was sitting around and waiting for Steve's turn.
When I tell you, I got a migraine from the amount of anger and frustration I experienced when we finally got to Steve's section. Like I'm getting a headache right now as I'm typing this because it irritates me so bad. They dropped the fucking ball SO hard, there's probably a new ground zero directly below their keyboard or something. I can't say exactly what happened because I think it might be too on the nose, but let's just say it has to do with Bucky. God, I was so angry. I still have them muted on ao3 to this day😭I had such a strong emotional reaction because I LOVED the fic and I ADORED the pairing so much! It's not super common of me to be all in like that. I learned my lesson! If you wanna know what it was, feel free to DM me though - I wish I could give more details, but I just don't wanna put anyone on blast in public.
Despite all this, I still finished the fic though. #NOTAQUITTER
The amount of Steve poly fics that have caused me to almost burst a blood vessel is about 3, but that's 3 too many. I'm fragile.
8) What kind of content tends to cross your dash that you dislike the most?
This happens a lot more on my main, but I do not care about antishippers as much as everyone else seems to. I just genuinely cannot muster up any kind of genuine upsetness that other people on my side of the fandom has. And I admit, I do get annoyed seeing people go blue in the face cause someone said a ship or kink or trope is nasty or whatever - I don't care! But I don't talk about it much because I don't want to hurt people's feelings who do care. I recognize that insults and shaming like that slides right off of me in a way it doesn't other people and well, I don't like to speak on things I can't sympathize with. It would be way too easy for my tone to come off as mean and I don't want that!
16) Name a canonical aspect of [insert 2 or more characters]'s relationship that you think is problematic/not mentioned enough.
I don't know who to talk about hm. I keep coming back to this question and for some reason I'm drawing a blank?? Trying to think about things I haven't complained about before. Damn, I talk too much LMAO.
I mean, I mentioned the thing about Tony and Pepper on discord before, but I don't consider it bad. In fact, I like this aspect of their relationship (I am a Pepperony shipper :>). But the way people get mad at Pepper for...whatever they get mad at Pepper for when the amount of stress she's put through in that relationship, specifically IM3 is ridiculous. Now, I like IM3. I know a lot of people hate it, but I like it for various reasons. And I have to say, I genuinely would not have blamed her if she noped out the second Tony told a terrorist coming to kill him where they lived 😭But she's a resilient woman and stuck beside her man iktr!
The answer I gave this feels lackluster so feel free to trade in another or choose a specific ship. Sorry!! <3

8, 12 and 23 for the choose violence ask game?
8. common fandom opinion that everyone is wrong about
Oh god, it’s so hard to just pick one (thankfully I have multiple asks with this particular question). I find the notion that Strange gave up the Time Stone just to spare T0ny’s life, when he’d just looked into a bajillion scenarios pretty silly. Like, him saying he would let him or Peter die to save the stone and then him giving up the stone isn’t some big character development, it’s him basically having read the spoilers for the next movie.
(that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t have felt bad, but still… it wasn’t because he changed his mind after spending an afternoon with T0ny and Peter).
12. the unpopular character that you actually like and why more people should like them
Hmmm, I guess I’d have to go with Howard? I know that people flat-out hate him because of T0ny, and I get it! He’s a monster in the comics and a neglectful father in the movies, but he’s such a lovable mess in the cap movies/universe (plus I think the abuse is way overblown in fandom spaces, but okay). He’s quippy, he’s arrogant all you want, but at least it’s all balanced with genuine, heartfelt moments with other characters. Also, he’s not above the narrative (er, F.E.I.G.E.?), so he’s allowed to take an L occasionally.
That and his devotion to Steve and Peggy gets him extra points
23. ship you've unwillingly come around to
Probably Wongstrange? I would say unwillingly because, before MoM, I’d never really cared about dr. Strange -sure, he was fun in the ensembles, but the first dr. Strange movie was a bit meh for me, so I never expected to like him that much! (kudos to the writing for that). Plus him and Wong have so much going on in that movie. They save each other, Stephen must have all these conflicting feelings about Wong getting that work promotion he was desperate for, they save each other again, Stephen bows to Wong… come on! How could I have been so blind?!

I just discovered that someone has made a complete hash of a section of literary call numbers, and I'd feel a lot more comfortable cursing their stupidity if I didn't have the sneaking suspicion that it was me who did it.

How about 1, 12, and 25 for the choose violence ask game?
First and foremost: thank you very much for the ask! 😘
Now let's get violent.😎
This will be random opinions on random fandom, more or less what I can think of at the moment.
the character everyone gets wrong
I genuinely think that fandom (especially large ones) have a tendency to get characters completely, devastatingly wrong. I truly do. But when you have a large fandom with a lot of awful takes there will be few that just *get it*. So, on the top of my head, I can't quite point out, character that is wrongly interpreted by everyone.
12. the unpopular character that you actually like and why more people should like them
SHARON! SHARON! SHARON! ❤💕💖💋😍😘💘💝💟💞
She's a bad bitch, your honor you have to love her.
25. common fandom complaint that you're sick of hearing
Steve and Sharon kiss, Steve not telling Tony about his parents, Civil War era discourse about Steve, Steve Endgame ending ( I don't know if you can tell but I have a lot of thoughts and opinions about Mr.Rogers) Aang not killing Ozai, Gale setting up trap that got Primrose dead, Bucky's hair lenght, Bucky should get the shield (ELECTRIC CHAIR FOR THAT ONE), a lot of fandom complaints about Bucky, EVERY COMPLAINT Sam Wilson (he did nothing wrong ever, thank you) Oh, and Phastos and Ben are not "real representation" (ANOTHER ELECTRIC CHAIR) anything about Tom and Greg, anything about Stiles and Derek and much much more!!
Mostly when someone is shittng on a female character, I am on her side by default.
but let's get to our Brooklyn boy and why everything wrongly said about him pisses me off immediately.
(There is discution to be had about comics and the whole thing with the mutants but we'll for now stick for the MCU)
MCU fandom puts Steve in such weird saint/whore dichotomy that it needs to be studied.
There  is no middle ground in engaging with his character.
He is simultaneously mocked for being nice and boring, but second that he makes something very human he's instantly demonized. T*ny gets to make mistakes left and right because "it makes him human", but Steve always has to be a paragon of virtue, otherwise he's Mr.Trump in spandex.
He's very important to me and what MCU fandom does to him makes me truly angry and sad.

Do you have any headcanons about Steve, Tony, or Steve and Tony between AoU and CACW? Like, any ideas about Steve's relationships with Rhodey, Wanda, or Vision? Or how closely do you think Tony monitored/kept in touch with the Avengers 2.0 team while he was supposedly retired? Do you think Steve and Tony had many interactions during that time period?
This is actually such a good ask because I hardly ever...ponder about my headcanons? I usually don't fill in gaps with specific happenings because I'm much better at analysis of canon content, so this answer is going to be at least 50% brainstorming! Long post incoming! Also, sorry if this response takes forever to be posted...whoopsies.
All my SteveTony interpretations from that period of time are all depressing lol. I think it's the time they are simultaneously thinking about each other the most and growing apart the most (of course this is only rivaled by post-CACW SteveTony). It also sucks because I like to imagine that after CATWS, the Avengers are all living together for the first time up until AOU. But between AOU and CACW, Tony is wallowing and drowning in his guilt, fear and shame (which I believe is like, 90% the reason he takes the stances he does ) and Steve is literally a mess and a half. The thing is though, Steve is better at compartmentalizing and managing his horror show of a life (he literally has to be or he'd be dead, probably), so he is most likely coping better than Tony at this point. Just barely though. We'll touch on that later in the post if I remember.
Tony is in the trenches. Became depressed after he helped create a murder bot that decimated an already war torn country, piles of self-hatred stabbing his gut at every chance, no girlfriend, no team, no happiness, no JARVIS, no stability, no confidence, no dignity, no---You see the point. All he's thinking about is how the hell to fix all his mistakes that have come to light at once. I'm in the boat of thinking that CW literally could not have been prevented because of how deep in shit Tony is. I do however think CW could have ended up better if Tony and Steve were on better terms....or it would have been so, so much worse. I'd love to see someone write this (I might).
Anyways! I think Tony would have been doing a lot of pulling away from Steve during this time. I think Steve most likely reached out to Tony the few times he could, but he was met with an almost impenatrible wall that he didn't know how to scale. Steve is insanely busy at this time and in copious amounts of emotional turmoil - he only has spend - and seeing as Tony seems safe, I could see Steve redirecting his attention elsewhere after being rejected a few times too many and giving Tony space instead. I think it's pretty apparent that these two didn't interact much (or at least didn't have many deep conversations). I'm basing this off of how they reacted to each other in CW and how Steve didn't know Pepper and Tony broke up.
[This section is gonna be a especially clunky and worded oddly but WALK WITH ME PLEASE] I will say I like the idea of them having literally one (1) heart to heart within this time period. I think it would have had to be early on in order for it to not have a mentionable moment in CW. The conversation ultimately would have led to Tony and Steve understanding each other the way they do in CW. It would be about their "nightmares" in AOU. One thing that I find interesting actually, is how long it takes for Tony to...see Steve as a person? It's very apparent in Avengers 1, but in AOU as well. And it's actually my favorite thing when we see Tony try to push and poke at Steve to get a "human" or vulnerable reaction out of him. For example, the log scene. Where Tony eventually gets frustrated and implies that Steve didn't seem to torn up about whatever nightmare he got. This is 1) Tony fishing for vulnerability from Steve's coping mechanism of stoicism and 2) Tony is taking his anger out on Steve and it's acceptable enough to him because in his eyes, Steve is a stone fortress so it's not like it'll rankle him anyways. You see how this becomes a never-ending circle, yeah? Lol. Especially because Steve doesn't project his emotions in the same explosive way Tony does. To Tony, he seems self-assured, calm, almost too collected and this bothers Tony for reasons I can't elaborate on right now or I'll type too much. In short, it's a part of the Howard-Steve-Tony conflict. To Steve, he doesn't understand why Tony is being antagonistic towards him so he reacts the way he does instead of giving Tony what he wants.
Anyways, back to the conversation! I think they actually must reach a breakthrough with each other. Telling each other about their respective "visions" in AOU...Steve realizing how much responsibility and guilt Tony assigns himself, Tony realizing that Steve still feels displaced and isn't unaffected by the things that's happened to him....I even predict they talked about Howard a tiny bit. To me, in CW, I see a sense of understanding between them that simply isn't there in the previous movies. Yes, they are literally more divided than they have ever been, but I truly, and wholeheartedly believe that CW could have been so, so much worse. I think Steve could have been more pissed at Tony and Tony could have been more cold about everything if they didn't see each other as they are. They don't agree with each other, but they absolutely trust the intentions of the other. Tony straight up says (to Peter) that he knows that Steve is doing what he thinks is right. Steve almost folds and puts his trust in Tony during the signing scene and he wouldn't do that if he didn't have faith in Tony's intentions.
Now, all this said, I do not buy for a second that Tony was able to stay away and mind his "I'm retired" ass business during this time lol. He wasn't active, no, but did he show up to HQ a little more than he should have? Yes. Did he find ways to watch trainings and sparring in person (and on video)? Yes. Did he continue to build stuff for the Avengers (whether or not he actually gave his inventions for them to use)? Yes. Did he press Natasha for info surrounding the Avengers, HQ, Steve, ect? ABSOLUTELY. I think Tony and Natasha's closeness in CW is a direct product of Tony inquiring about everything he missed out on during his break and Natasha offering up all the info he wanted and more. She probably tried to convince him to come back once or twice.
Steve and Rhodes: Now, take my opinion on this dynamic with a grain of salt because Rhodey is a character that annoys me. Very surface level annoyance, but it's still there nonetheless. This isn't to say I think he's a bad character - he's actually one of the few MCU characters that is consistent and makes sense. Anyways, I never saw these two as close. I don't think they have the potential to become super close, nor do I think they are particularly interested in being close to each other. But there is a pretty solid level of mutual respect. I don't think Rhodey really...likes Steve for the same reasons Tony didn't like Steve. Mostly based off of misconceptions and reading Steve's disposition as egoism and coldness (I suspect that it's a little projection comes from seeing the Howard-Steve-Tony conflict from Tony growing up too but moving on). I think Steve is pretty neutral when it comes to Rhodey. He can sense the dislike, but it doesn't bother him because they aren't....close.
Steve and Vision: This is actually a really cute and heartwarming pair that I never thought about until now. I think Vision is fond of Steve. He became appreciative of him mostly through his own observations and through whatever Wanda tells him. I think there might have been times where Vision has seen Steve comfort Wanda and that could have pushed Vision to talk to Steve about his own concerns...maybe having to do with his personhood? I don't think they were close to each other, but I think that Vision definitely marked Steve in the "good" category of people he knows. On Steve's side, he's mostly bemused when it comes to Vision. It's confusion, apprehension and affection all at once. But maybe Vision also reminds him a teeny tiny bit of himself coming into the new century. Fumbling, unsure of new social cues, observing everything and attempting to mimic common behaviors. I'm sure Vision's behavior is endlessly endearing to Steve, but he doesn't know how to handle it all the time. They figure it out as they go. Very cute.
Steve and Wanda: I love them so much. Top 5 MCU dynamic that is never explored but is told through scraps and crumbs of dialogue that hint at the amount of time they've shared together and the amount of trust and care they've build between each other. Here's a take I haven't fully fleshed out yet: I think Steve's empathy and compassion for Wanda is literally endless. I think Wanda's faith and admiration for Steve is endless as well. I think these two are one of the most solid, locked in duos in the MCU. My evidence? Vibes. Just kidding, almost. But I think it's 1) their backgrounds, and 2) the progression of their relationship and 3) the types of characters they are. You know one of the main reasons Wanda trusts Steve? It's not only because he can see who she really is, it's not only because he empathizes with her pain - it's because he isn't afraid of her and her power. Instead, he's worried for her and how her lack of control over her abilities hurt her. He didn't take her in just so he could monitor and stop her from hurting other people - he took her in and continued to stick up for her because he genuinely, wholeheartedly cares. Wanda isn't one to be fooled by fake compassion. And she sees pure authenticity in Steve. Steve looks at Wanda and sees someone that was failed in the worse ways possible. Much like his own life, it's been hit after hit for Wanda - external circumstances that she couldn't control, so once she finally had a chance to take the reigns of her own destiny, she jumped at the opportunity. That line Steve says in AOU, "What kind of monster would let a German scientist experiment on them in order to protect their country?" "We're not at war, Captain." "They are." From the jump, he went into that fight understanding Wanda's motivations and immediately related them to his own experience and desperation. This empathy for someone who is supposed to be their enemy - someone who is actively coming for their necks. The same empathy that so many people are throwing out the window when it comes to Wanda and her story. I'm one of the whackjobs that fully believes that Wanda would have allowed Steve to help her through WandaVision and MoM AND Steve would have still forgiven and trusted her afterwards. If Wanda came to Steve devastated that they showed her Vision's corpse, he would have stood beside her without question and shut it down (we already know that Steve sees Vision as an actual person considering Infinity War). Steve is has been her advocate and support since she's joined them. And it's often shown in subtle ways. He also doesn't allow people to pick on Wanda - not on his watch. Wanda does the same (as much as she can) for Steve and follows his lead.
Okay, I realized that that turned more into an analysis without many headcanons lol....Okay, some Wanda and Steve headcanons. Steve draws Wanda a lot - always in bright and positive settings to express how he sees her. I think he also makes an effort to be as invested in her powers as she is - to assure that she knows she doesn't have to manage it herself. I could imagine it actual blows Wanda's mind when Steve drags her to practice her magic on him. On one hand she's terrified because she doesn't want to hurt him, on the other hand, she's filled with warmth because he believes in her and is backing it up by putting his own wellbeing on the line. One more...sometimes Wanda pranks Steve with her powers. It's both an example of her progress and her just being silly (but it really shows how comfortable and safe she feels with him). So cute.
Whew! I think I covered everything. I looooooooove detailed and specific questions/prompts like this. Especially when it involves character I'm directly invested in! Thank you so much <3 If you want more elaboration on anything or if I missed something, feel free to hit me up again! <3

How about 4, 5 (Scott), 9, and 16 for the fandom ask game?
Hey! :-)
4. Is there a popular pairing you don't necessarily dislike but aren't too invested in?
Out of the most popular Steve pairings, I'd say ShieldShock. It's not a bad ship by any means. I totally get why people are into it. It just doesn't grab me like that, y'know? Though, oddly enough, I am really into the idea of Steve/Darcy/Wanda. Don't know what that's about, lol.
With MCU in general? Clintasha. Granted, part of this probably comes from being exposed to the MCU first, because nothing about their interactions in The Avengers screamed romance to me and everything after that just solidified that notion. I never understood why folks were so adamant about it being portrayed in the MCU over Bruce/Nat and Clint/Laura until I found out it's a comic thing. Again, not a bad ship, but neither canon version I've seen (MCU and EMH) have done much for me. Though, again, Clint/Laura/Natasha? Totally into.
5. Out of all your fanworks that include [Scott], which is your favourite?
Oh, man, this question has taken me the longest, because I had to go through and reread some stuff. Also, I make so many different things that narrowing it down is a bit tough. Plus, I overthink way too much. Okay. For moodboards, I'd say this Steve/Scott/Hope/Maria one, because it's so pretty to me that I forget I made it, lol. I figure anything that's able to bypass my knee-jerk reaction to be overly critical of my work must have something good going for it. For other graphics, this Scott/Jessica set, which is quite simple, but I really like it.
As for fic, I think overall some of my favorite individual lines and jokes have been written for Scott, such as: "At least I don’t want to fuck a fox, Clint." Though I think my favorite exchange I've written has to be between Scott and Steve in Make Up For Lost Time:
“You’re twice my age!” the brunet sputtered. “More than!”
“Only chronologically,” Steve said, unable to control his shit-eating grin.
“I’ll remember that next time you ask for the senior discount at the movies.” With that, he moved as if to get off of Steve’s lap, but the blond only clutched his hips and plopped him back down with a smile.
“You wouldn’t rat me out, would ya?”
“Course not,” he scoffed. “That shit’s expensive, even with your discount.”
For a full story, I'd say it's a toss-up between The Season of Poultry and Everything Will Turn Out Alright. It's tough to pick a full fic for Scott, since I so often write him from someone else's (usually Steve's) point of view. That, coupled with how my work tends to be pretty short, I think makes it a little hard to maybe get a full picture of Scott. But with those stories, I think (or I'd like to think) they pack a lot in a small space in terms of his characterization and dynamics with others. Plus, I just have a lot of affection for those particular stories.
9. Write a recommendation of someone else's fic you enjoyed!
Do Vibranium Androids Dream of Electric Wandas? by DeconstructedFallenStars on AO3. The summary reads, "He had meant for her to be his Eve." It's a short one-sided Wanda/Ultron fic that takes place toward the end of AOU and is something of a character study of Ultron. I'm probably underselling it, but the execution is very good.
16. Do people irl know you participate in fandom?
Friends do, yes, but not relatives. I don't think they'd really "get" it or approve, if you take my meaning.
Thanks for sending these in! Sorry it took a couple days for me to finish. For whatever reason, my brain really needed the answer to that second question to be thorough. lol.

AT LONG LAST, my fill for a @marveltrumpshate prompt for an auction won by @bulkyphrase is seeing the light of day!
Cold Comfort by @fohatic — a smutty, whumpy darkfic, rated E
(Loki/Steve that eventually becomes Steve/Tony)
The year is 2012. The battle of New York is over; Loki and his army of Frost Giants have triumphed. Nearly a third of the continental U.S. is already blanketed in ice, and the Jötnar's reach grows wider still as global temperatures continue to drop. Towering above this freezing domain—on what was once the coast of Long Island—a pillar of ice stands two thousand feet tall, dwarfing the now-fallen Empire State Building. Atop this tower, Loki has erected his throne and declared himself 'Ruler of Earth.' His first order of business, now that his victory is won: find and enslave all remaining Avengers, and ensure their compliance. After that? Reap the rewards of his victory, in the most explicit ways his imagination can conjure... ...and his imagination can be quite vivid.

A little belated, but I'm so glad to see your posts on my dash again! (Even though everything I know about Succession comes from tumblr gifs)
Also, happy(?) four-year anniversary of the Avengers Endgame release and having to defend Steve against ice-cold Endgame takes. Thank you for your service!
Hiii! That's so nice and sweet, thank you!! ☺️☺️ I'm really bad at keeping a sm presence pretty much anywhere, so that's why sometimes I disappear! Ngl, I envy your consistency (I love your fic recs!)
(sorry for the small succession detour of this blog. Dw, a few weeks and it'll all be over and who knows how I'll be after that show ends)
Also, omg 4 years? It feels like decades, given the amount of bad takes we've had to deal with. It's like we're stuck in the quantum realm of bad Steve takes. But at least there are a few rebels here too.
Anyway, I salute you, and I salute Steve Rogers. He may have stopped serving his country, but he'll never stop serving cunt. 🫡
