Summary:
“What’s with the blanket?” asked Legend suspiciously, an eyebrow raised.
Wind suddenly gasped, darting over to Twilight. “Is that a baby?”
The group went silent at the last question, and Twilight nodded with a small sigh.
~~~
An unknown time period, a ruined town, and a baby who only raises more questions then answers.
Wild did not sign up to be father when he came on this quest but by Hylia he’ll try his hardest.
Hii I’d like to request Regina having a crush on reader but reader has a hard time liking her back cause of what was written about reader in the burn book (with a fluff ending??) thank you!
Who Wrote This? (Regina George X Reader)
Masterlist
Request Something!
Summary: Even though all that had happened junior year was forgiven, what was written about you in that wretched burn book still tugged at you mind. It makes it hard for you to warm up to Regina, who just wants to be with you.
A/N: regina wrote mean ass shit in the burn book so a warning for that ig
***
“Regina, if you keep staring at her, she might think you’re crazy.” The lacrosse team giggled as they watched Regina watch you. She was packing her bag after practice when she caught sight of you coming out of the school library.
“Oh, shut up.” She said, not bothering to take her eyes off of you.
This wasn’t the first time Regina’s friends had caught her looking at you. Ever since sophomore year, after being sat next to you in one of her classes, it was like she couldn’t get you out of her head. No matter how many boyfriends, or more like boy toys, she had, or how many people she slept with. When it was all over, she still thought about you, who was nothing but kind and sweet to her despite her reputation of being an evil Plastic.
“When are you gonna go talk to her?” Dina, one of Regina’s teammates, nudged her arm. “You’re clearly, like, in love with her.”
“I can’t.” She answered, now somber. “I’m pretty sure she completely hates me.”
That wasn’t entirely true, but Regina didn’t know that. From how you acted now, like she repulsed you, it seemed like you despised her. And she knew it was all her fault.
Everyone except for you had gotten over what was written about them in the burn book. The moment you read what had been written about you, what people seemed to think of you, you realized that Regina George was a two-faced mega bitch and would never change. It didn’t matter how nice you were, or how many notes or pens you had let her borrow, or how genuine she seemed around you. She would always think she was above everyone, and the people below were as meaningless and bothersome as gum stuck to the bottom of her shoe.
You knew she was different now, like she had really grown. But you didn’t buy it for a second. So you kept your distance, speeding off or changing seats whenever Regina tried getting close to you. Yet there was a small part of you that was hopeful about the fact that she was better now, that she wasn’t so mean.
After zipping up your bag, you looked up and locked eyes with Regina on the soccer field. Even though she was far away, she could see you clench your jaw before storming off to your car.
She couldn’t do this anymore. No matter how much you tried to avoid her, she needed to talk to you.
***
You loved spending your free period in the library. You were able to catch up on homework or studying without getting distracted. Plus, Regina never came in here.
You heard the door open but didn’t look up from your notebook, where you copied notes from your textbook. Footsteps came near you, but you figured they were going to a seat past you.
But then someone sat down in the chair next to you. You looked up in the confusion, but that soon turned into an expression of annoyance.
“Please,” Regina whispered, grabbing your wrist before you could try to back your things and leave. You glared at her, and she had to force herself not to wince at your harshness. “Please, Y/n, I just wanna talk.”
“Well, I don’t.”
“Just hear me out.” Regina pleaded, trying to stay quiet. She scooted her chair closer to you, and was surprised that you didn’t lean back or scoot away. “Hear me out, and then when I’m done, I’ll leave you alone forever. I promise.”
It pained her to promise you that, but she figured it was the only way you’d listen to her.
You stared at her momentarily before you sighed and relaxed slightly in your seat.
“Fine.” You said. “But make it quick.”
Regina nodded, trying to get her thoughts together. To be honest, she didn’t really think she’d make it this far.
“I’m sorry.” She started. “Really, really sorry. What I wrote about you in that book, I didn’t mean it, and I regret writing it every day. You were one of the only people in this school that I genuinely liked, and I ruined what little we had because I wrote something stupid.”
“It wasn’t stupid.” You interjected, bitterness in your tone. “It was mean, Regina.” You turned your seat to face her better. She was glad that you were finally looking at her without running away, but hated the look of disdain and hurt on your face. “I think about what you wrote about me every day. It’s practically burned into my brain at this point. ‘Y/n L/n is a skank that no one would touch with a ten-foot pole. That-’”
“‘That nerdy bitch will end up alone.’” Regina finished the quote, her voice meek and cheeks red from embarrassment. “I remember.”
“I’m glad you have such a good memory.” You said sarcastically. “If you wrote that about someone you say you genuinely liked, I wonder what you’d write about your own mother.”
“Y/n…” Regina sighed. This was definitely not going the way she had wanted. But at the same time, she expected this to be a sour interaction. “I didn’t mean what I wrote.”
“Oh really? What, was it just a spur-of-the-moment decision to cut out my school picture and write that?”
“I had to write it, Y/n.” The absurdity of that statement shocked you into silence, so Regina took it as a chance to continue before you told her you didn’t want to hear it. “I put myself in there to frame Cady, Gretchen, and Karen for making the book. But then I remembered that you weren’t in there. I never wanted you in that book, but I didn’t want you to be blamed for it if Mr. Duvall realized you weren’t in it.”
“So…” You were trying to wrap your head around Regina’s words. “You wrote all that stuff… to protect me?”
“I hated every minute of it.” Regina seemed so serious; she looked so desperate for you to believe her. “It was so hard to write that, because I didn’t believe any of it. The truth is… I’ve actually liked you for a long time, Y/n.” You looked at her bewildered, and she took your silence as a cue to continue. “That’s why I had never put you in the book. I remember always pretending to forget or lose my pencils so I could talk to you because you’d always let me borrow yours. Or I’d leave one of my books at home, hoping that you’d share yours with me.” Regina took a deep breath, reminiscing on the little moments she had with you before she ruined it all. “It’s so corny, but I never felt as on top of the world as I did when you were talking to me.”
You stared at Regina, completely shocked. This was not at all what you were expecting when she begged you to listen to her. At the most, you thought it’d be a little apology, and then she’d leave. Instead, you had gotten a full-on love confession from Regina George, who, for the first time probably ever, looked scared as she waited for your response.
“I’ll leave you alone now.” She said after another minute of awkward silence. “I promise I won’t try to bother you anymore. And again, I’m really sorry.”
Regina stood up, but your hand shot out and grabbed her arm to stop her. She looked down at you to find that you were already staring at her.
“I…” You started, still trying to process the situation. “I guess I can forgive you. And I suppose I could give you another chance. You know, like a do-over.”
“Really?” Regina smiled hopefully, lowering back down into her chair. You realized your hand was still clasped around her arm, so you let go and cleared your throat.
“Yeah. I mean, after all, you gotta make it up to me. Emotional damages and all.”
You returned to the notes and textbook you had neglected, found where you had left off, and started writing again. Regina took this as her cue to leave, and she wondered what would happen after this. But before she could stand up again, your free hand drifted to hers on the table, pinky laying over hers. She smiled and curled her small finger around yours.
You stayed there until the end of your free period. And when the two of you went to your next class, which you shared, Regina was both relieved and ecstatic when you sat in the seat next to her without a second thought.
“i told you we gotta stop doing that” i said as soon as entered matt’s car, sitting next to him.
“yeah, i heard the first time” matt giggled, never taking me seriously. “good night to you too, princess”.
“good night, matty” i responded as i buckled my seatbelt, giving him a kiss on the cheek. “what did you tell your brothers?”
“that i was going to watch a movie by myself” he said as he started the car, checking if he was good to go by the rearview mirror.
“are you?” i teased, resting my hand on his right thigh. i could see his boner from miles away and he quickly tensed the muscle on his leg as i caressed my fingers over his jeans. matt stared at me, sarcastic blue eyes answering my question. “yeah? then where are you going?”
“somewhere i can fuck you, y/n” matt raised his voice, but still kept a jokeful tone. i rolled my eyes back and didn’t bother saying anything back, turning on the radio and adjusting the sound. “you look really pretty with that dress” he said after a few minutes of silence.
“but you’re crazy to take it off aren’t you?” i giggled, but matt actually nodded his head in disapproval. “nah, gonna go underneath the skirt” he said as finally found some alley for us to park, turning the car off and removing his seatbelt. “and i won’t even have to remove your panties” matt teased me, opening his door and coming to mine.
as he opened my side of the car, i couldn’t help but laugh at him acting like a gentleman. i stood up and leaned my back on the van, matt’s hands quickly coming to my waist. he smiled before tucking my hair behind my ear, the cold wind making the strands fall over my face. matt then leaned in, softly sealing our lips.
i melted into his touch. always gentle, matt’s digits traveled through my collarbones and shoulder before stoping by my neck, wrapping his fingers around it as he deepened the kiss. my breath instantly got heavier, matt tightening his grip as i bit his lower lip. when he noticed i’d have to pull out to get some hair, he loosened it, moving his hand to the back of my head instead. matt kept placing kisses over my face, soon going over my jaw and biting my ear.
“well, i know someone who likes coming in their pants way more than i do” i had to say. he was teasing me way too much, to the point i’d let him fuck me right there - in that fucking cold weather and in public.
“i might” matt said as he looked to the tent growing on his jeans. “it’s your fault for sending me that bra pic” he confessed, getting closer to me.
“oh, so you were a naughty boy?”
“n-no” he’d always break when i called him boy. baby boy, good boy, pretty boy, naughty boy - all of these would make matt submit in seconds. “haven’t since… last time” matt hid his face from me, snuggling into the crook of my neck. i widened my eyes as i realized it had been two weeks since our last encounter.
“matt” i called, grabbing his face with both hands. his lips were pouty and his blue orbs shiny, cheeks burning red - not really sure if it was from the weather or his shyness. “you don’t have to”.
“like better with you” he cut me off with a sudden kiss, giggling as he backed off like it was no big deal. “let’s get in?” he asked, already opening the back door for me.
i lied down on the seat, much more comfortable than the front one. matt soon entered, hovering over me as he placed both of his elbows next to my shoulders. i knew he was about to burst inside his pants, so as soon as he started kissing me, i traveled my hands down his torso, grabbing his belt and playing with the cold metal.
i closed my eyes, moving one my hands to matt’s neck, tugging my fingers on his curls while the other one stood by his boner, quickly unbuttoning his jeans. i palmed him through his underwear - completely wet. wasn’t even fair trying to tease him in such a situation, aching cock begging to get some relief. as i placed my digits on his waistband, matt suddenly denied with his head. “you first” he said, completely out of breath.
“matty, you seem like you could really use some help down there, hm?” i said, slightly stroking him.
“y/n” matt called, giving a kiss on my neck “i miss you” and with each phrase, another kiss trailed down my collarbones. “your smell, your body” he stopped by my chest, looking at me with puppy eyes, “your taste”.
matt got under my skirt, exactly as he said he would. his lips brushed against my thigh, making me hold my breath and pull my dress upwards. he touched me over my underwear, playing with my clit through the cloth and moving down to my entrance. before i could even think, his teeth meet my panties and matt started to removed them with his mouth. it was painfully slow, his blue eyes staring at me as he finally took them off completely.
matt gave me a long lick, starting at my hole and stopping by my clit before circling his tongue against it, teasing me. my hands went back to his hair, grabbing the curls as i lowered my body in the back seat in order to get some more friction.
matt’s licks got sloppier, his spit mixed with the wetness of my cunt making everything messier. “matt, be a good boy” i moaned and he instantly got it. he didn’t waste time, moving his tongue to my entrance and sliding in, slowly opening my walls.
matt’s grip on my hips got tighter, trying to keep me from moving around so much. i couldn’t help but hump against his face, matt’s nose almost touching my already swollen clit. realizing how needy i was, he quickly changed positions, one of his hands getting near my pussy.
his digits were soon teasing my entrance as his tongue travelled through my lower lips before sucking my clit and making me gasp, throwing my head back for finally getting some friction. as i clenched, he slid his middle finger into my tight hole, quickening his pace at my clit.
matt started humming something i couldn’t hear properly, my mind getting fuzzy as his finger curled inside of me. the vibrations from his voice made my pussy throb and the knot in my lower belly started to get tighter. my hands where everywhere - on his hair, shoulders, my own thighs, grabbing the leather of the seat as i whined. i couldn’t cover my moans anymore, begging for release when he entered another finger in, filling me up entirely.
“i’m gonna-” i was suddenly cut by his deep thrusts meeting my spot, whining loudly as my orgasm crashed down on me without any warning. my legs trembling against matt’s head only made the grip on my hips stronger and he kept on licking my release, making me spasm from the sensitiveness of my clit against his tongue.
matt realized i was getting overstimulated and finally stopped, showing off the biggest smile, face wet and lips red from eating me out.
“did i do good?” he asked, eager blue eyes meeting mine and sealing his lips on my own. i nodded between the kiss, smiling as he gave me a taste of myself.
“i told you’re always my good boy, matt” i said, caressing his hair, matt resting his head in my chest and laying over me. “you’re actually getting too good at this”.
“see? i’m not that naughty. only doing the best for the best” he joked back, giggling. i could feel his cock twitching over my pussy as we spoke, our heats rubbing against each other before he started another lewd kiss. i moved one of my hands to matt’s neck, my thumb applying pressure next to his addam’s apple. matt gulped and unconsciously jointed his hips forward, making me whine for the sudden contact at my exposed cunt. “fuck- sorry”
i loosened the grip on his neck and wrapped my legs around matt’s waist, bringing him closer to me. “didn’t you say you wanted to fuck me last time?” his blue eyes widened and he nodded frantically, wet spot growing on his pants. “so? you don’t want anymore?”
“i do!” matt said, loudest he’d been in hours, as if i was going to change my mind at any second. “i want it so bad i just- didn’t even… bring… protection” he whispered, disappointed at himself, hiding his face from me. before i could say it was okay - it wasn’t our first time and i loved it raw - matt started speaking again.
“i’ll pull it out! i promise, i’ll be a good boy and i’ll take it off” i nodded, reassuring him. “i don’t even have to cum, i can jack off in my hand afterwards i just- just need you. need you so much, y/n”.
i cut him off by moving my hands to his jeans, getting rid of the belt that had been bothering me all this time. matt was now only in his boxers and i quickly wrapped my fingers around his lenght.
matt's cock was rock hard, leaking pre-cum all over his shaft. i pumped him a few times, matt closing his eyes and groaning in my neck before i finally removed it from his underwear. his body kept glued on mine and i could feel matt's tip rubbing against my clit, both of us moaning at the same time.
my nails went to his back, scratching him as he kept on teasing my pussy. “can i?” he asked, not waiting for the answer he knew it would be yes, fuck, for christ's sake, just fuck me and gradually burying himself inside of me. i felt matt's cock stretching me completly, his veins throbbing against my walls.
“you're s-so fucking tight” he said under his breath, biting my earlobe.
“gosh, matt” i whined, trying to get used to his size.
matt started to move his hips slowly, allowing me to feel all of him entering my cunt. matt had been hard since i got into the car, so i knew he wasn’t gonna last long. he rapidly got worked up, not being able to keep the pace of his thrusts, pounding into me mindlessly.
i could feel his dick twitching, bringing me closer to come once more. “wanna cum” he whimpered. “please, wanna cum for you”.
“you can come baby boy, come inside of- fuck, yes!” as i gave him permission, matt released his thick spurt, filling me up with his cum. this threw me off the edge, another orgasm fully hitting me, making me tremble under him as my toes curled and i arched my back. matt panted heavily and quickly got out off me, his swollen tip leaking over my thighs and skirt.
just when we were coming from our highs, matt’s cellphone started ringing. we both grunted, annoyed by the interruption. “i’m not picking it up” he said, looking at me and kissing my cheek.
“you fucked my dress” i answered, coming back to my senses and realizing he had completely ruined it, from top to bottom.
“i’ll buy you a new dress each time we have sex” he giggled, looking at the mess he made. “how does that sound?” i showed him my pinky finger, making he promise me that he could destroy any cloth he wanted if he bought another one. we interlocked our fingers and sealed or lips together once more, laughing at the cheesy act we had just done.
“y/n” he called. “i think i’m in love with you”
“oh, shut the fuck up matthew” i giggled, pulling his hair and moving him off me.
i couldn’t let him know that this caught me off guard. i couldn't say how he’d make my heart beat faster, and i could never confess it out loud, but deep down i knew.
i was in love with him too.
SHOCK FACTOR ★彡 PART 4
Tumblr media
Pairing: Paige Bueckers x Rival!Reader
Warnings: swearing
A/n: I hate this ngl 😣 didn’t turn out that great. I swear I’ll do better
Prev. Next.
“ITS TEN PM, why the fuck are you at my hotel right now?”
Elaine gives an unbothered look at your harsh tone, which shocks you because she’s usually more reactive.
“Seriously?” You scoff. She’d been standing stupidly outside of your door for god knows how long, spamming your phone with messages you didn’t see due to Paige taking it. “You don’t even have a key to my room…what did you think you’d accomplish?”
“It’s a Saturday night, I thought I’d take you out.” She rolls her eyes. “Plus I know your teammates are partying right now. Sorry I didn’t want you to be alone.”
“Well maybe I would’ve liked to be alone, since I didn’t answer the 40 texts and calls you gave me.” You say, opening the room up and stepping inside, letting her follow behind. If you were going to argue it wouldn’t be in the hallway for everyone to hear.
“Well you weren’t alone, were you?” Elaine quips with a rude tone that is foreign for you to hear from her.
“So what if I wasn’t?” You narrow your eyes. “I didn’t come to Connecticut just to see you.”
She’s immediately stung by this, and you feel bad for a split second until she retaliates. “Well you came to Storrs for me, right? Unless you were just trying to fuck Paige Bueckers and leave. You and your little fake arguments, you sure you’re not covering up for something?”
“You’re kidding.” You laugh at her, but it’s uncomfortable. “You think I’m faking my arguments to cover up some elaborate hookup? Shit, you’re crazy.”
“I’m not fucking crazy,” Elaine voice raises above yours, clearly hurt by the comment. “I don’t know why you’re all over the chick, and going out to dinner with her? It’s weird.”
“I don’t know why you care so much. That’s what’s weird.”
“I just think you should keep your distance from Paige.” She says, quieter. “The media has been all over you two, I don’t know if you’ve noticed but it’s overwhelming.”
“Obviously not if I don’t know this already.” You raise your eyebrow. “Guess it’s been overwhelming for you though.”
Elaine is quiet for a moment, arms crossed in an attempt to comfort herself. “I’m sorry.” She says. “I guess I’ve just been jealous. You came to see me after like a year, and I kinda felt like you were more focused on Paige then me.”
At the thought of this you immediately feel awful. You hadn’t seen Elaine for a long time, and when you have been with her you were admittedly distracted.
“I’m sorry Lainey.” You sigh out. “I haven’t been here long…It’s just been a lot. We have the rest of the week.” You hold out your arms and she gladly hugs you tight.
“I’m not gonna lie,” you mumble against her “I thought you were mad about Paige for a whole other reason.”
“What?”
“Never mind.” You shake your head, brushing off the thoughts of her jealousy being a little different from how she explained. “Let’s go out. I need a drink.”
-
You tried to go out and have fun, but your mind kept wandering to earlier. Paige’s hands on your face, her mouth hovering above yours, her eyes staring through you. The memory of her knuckles white and wrapped around the steering wheel as she drove you back home, a pent up expression on her face.
You weren’t sure if she was so annoyed because your moment with her was interrupted, or because Elaine was the one who interrupted it. Despite Paige dismissing your friend, and Elaine seemingly missing your company, you knew there was something going on between them. You just weren’t sure what, and the shots you’d done didn’t help collect your thoughts.
Elaine had been with you for a bit, but eventually went off on her own to get detrimentally more drunk then you planned on getting. You were sitting at a table alone and sipping when you got a notification.
paigebueckers is going live!
You switch to a burner account before joining the live and being greeted with Paige’s straight face reading comments while KK hung out in the background. You felt pathetic watching her live anonymously, but you needed to see her.
“Someone said ‘Ain’t it too late for ya’ll?’” Paige scoffs, turning to KK
“Girl, it’s a Saturday. Who you think we are?” KK quips back, enticing a chuckle from Paige that makes your stomach flutter.
They take turns answering questions; Paige gracefully dodging the less appropriate ones and KK occasionally reading something that makes everyone go crazy. They were so funny together you almost forgot how sad it was that you were in a bar watching their live.
KK looks at the chat for a longer moment before her eyebrows raise, mouth forming an amused smirk while glancing at Paige, who is turned away from the phone and looking at something off screen.
“Aye Paige, someone said ‘u still beefin’ with (name)?’”
Paige flashes a dangerous look to KK who unsurprisingly cowers a bit, but she turns towards the camera and rubs her face sheepishly while responding. “S’ not really beef. We jus don’t get along.”
“Oh?” KK responds, this obviously being news to her.
Blue eyes finally meet the camera, and you almost feel like she’s staring right at you when she says “and I’m tired of people comparing me to her. We are not on the same level.” Paige lets out an entitled huff. “It’s embarrassing. People think just cus we talked like twice we’re equal.”
KK nudges her quickly. “She don’t mean that ya’ll.” She says nervously.
“Nah, I do. I mean she’s not bad. She just don’t got nothing on me.” Paige shrugs. “She’s boring. No shock factor.”
“Aight ya’ll I think that’s it for tonight.” KK says curtly, eyeing Paige. The live ends in an instant, and you’re left feeling hurt, embarrassed, confused and angry. This didn’t feel like an attack on your skill as a basketball player. It was more personal, and Paige knows it.
Your mind is racing from the countless drinks, loud atmosphere and eventful live you’d just watched. You shoot Juju a text and ask her to go live with you, and she surprisingly responds in an instant. The viewers are scarily high right from the get go.
“Who came here from Paige’s live?”
“Ain’t no way she’s at a bar rn”
“Aye (name) how’s Connecticut?”
“lowk think her and Paige are hooking up”
“juju can you say hi pls”
“Hey guys.” You mutter, attempting to steady your voice. Juju raises an eyebrow at your state. “You sure you shud be on live right now?” She asks. “Who’re you even with?”
“Never mind that.” You shake your head, reading through the comments. “Hiii guys. Connecticut’s alright, Storrs is a shithole though.” You laugh.
“Missing California?” Juju asks.
Sighing, you reply “Very much so.”
“Sooo, let’s talk bout your new friend!” Juju smirks, most probably unaware of Paige’s newest comment about you.
“And who would that be?”
“Paige Bueckers, duh. Must be nice to see her in person outside of the court.” Juju says innocently, not paying attention to the increase of questions in the chat concerning Paige’s live.
“Nice isn’t quite the word I would use.” You grumble, and Juju immediately seems to regret bringing it up. She tries to save the situation by asking something else, but you interrupt her. “I think the word disappointing…or maybe shitty fits better.”
“Hah, you’re funny.” Juju attempts to seem amused, but is clearly trying to figure out how she can work in some damage control. She furiously types something out and you get a message from her a moment later
JUJU-KINS 😘
Girl get tf off of live RIGHT NOW and get yo self home and in bed. Ur so drunk.
Seen.
Ignoring the text, you continue to read questions out loud. Your body is practically on fire and you’re aware that you’re not thinking straight, but there are no intentions of stopping now. Paige certainly couldn’t have enough of talking big online, so why should you?
“‘Weren’t you just with Paige at a coffee shop yesterday?’” You read out loud. “Not intentionally.” You huff, eyebrows narrowing. “The girl can’t accept I’m tryna have a peaceful vacation. For whatever reason I keep seeing her everywhere, it’s not even funny, just fucking weird.”
“(Name) I think we should put the phone down.” Juju says quietly.
“Mm, it’s not even my problem she thinks ‘m boring anyways.” You grumble, words starting to slur. “Mayyybe I’m boring cus I don’t wanna fuckin’ talk to her n her shitty Italian restaurant.”
The chat begins to blow up at this, and it finally hits you how much damage you’ve just done. “M’kay bye.” You rush out, quickly ending the live and texting Juju back.
YOU
howw fucked am i scale of 1-10
JUJU-KINS 😘
We not even in numbers anymore atp.
Get yo ass up and go home pls. This is an issue for tmr now
Your head is starting to pound as you get up from your spot and push through people in search of Elaine, thankfully she finds you first, half stumbling-half intentionally bumping into you. She’s obviously wasted.
“Ready to go homeee?” She hiccups, accepting your hand as help to balance herself. “I’m gonna call an Uber.” You reply. “Can we wait outside?”
The two of you practically tumble out of the bar, the cold air slightly sobers you up, and clarifies your thoughts a bit. You feel yourself start to get irritated.
“Do you have to get so fuckin’ drunk every time we go out?” You huff out.
“Don’t start.” Elaine snaps. “You’re literallyyyy slurring your words.”
“At least I can walk,” you scoff. Your head is absolutely aching now, and you’re dying to be home. “You look so stupid tripping around.”
“Well you look stupid feining over Paige, goin live n shit talking her.” She retaliates.
“I’m not feining for shit.”
“You’re obsessed.” Elaine slurs. “N’ I’ll tell you what. She’s going to play your ass and you’re never gonna get over it, cus that’s what she does.”
“You know way more about her then you let on.” You narrow your eyes, unsurprised when she avoids your gaze. “How’d you even know I was out with her today anyways?”
She’s quiet, you can’t tell if she’s thinking or if she’s genuinely ignoring you.
“Elaine.” You say sharply. “How the fuck did you know I was out with Paige?”
“I have her location.” She mumbles.
“What?”
“She still shares her location me.”
“She still…” you pause, attempting to understand what she’s saying. “She shares her location with you?”
“I mean, I don’t think she knows she hasn’t turned it off.” Elaine says sheepishly. “I just happened to check n’ I saw you guys together.”
“This is so fuckin’ weird.” You scoff. “What happened to you guys barely knowing each other?”
“Yeah, well that’s what I told you.” She rolls her eyes.
“And what didn’t you tell me?”
“I’m surprised she didn’t tell you.” Elaine shrugs, eyes heavy.
“We used to fuck.”
The immediate regret on her face as the words leave her mouth makes you sick to your stomach, and a swirl of unintelligible emotions begin to manifest inside of you.
“And you didn’t tell me this because?”
“Didn’t think it was worth mentioning.”
“Why’d you try to get me to flirt with her that first day at the bar?”
She shakes laughs and her head. “Didn’t think you’d actually end up talking to her, didn’t think she’d be so interested in you either. You’re not really her type.”
Exasperated and unsure how to even articulate what you’re feeling, you simply bring your hands to your face. “Do you understand how fucking weird this is?”
“Don’t get so frustrated.” She scoffs. “You’ve talked to her for like three days, n’ you thought she was a dick before this week. Don’t tell me you’re into her now.”
“It’s not even about her at this point.” You sneer. “I don’t know who the fuck you are, and I don’t know why everyone here is fucking obsessed with lying.”
When she doesn’t respond you take the opportunity to get more in, facing her now and looking down in disappointment. “I didn’t even know you liked girls, and now you’re telling me you’ve been hooking up with someone I know? God, it makes sense now why you were so quick to start insulting her the minute she showed any interest in me.”
Elaine can’t even bring herself to look at you, and the fact that she’s so drunk she might not even be digesting what you’re saying is infuriating you.
“Then you guilt trip me about not paying enough attention to you? Was that really what was bothering you, or was it the fact that she was out with me?”
Taking a deep breath, you turn your back to her and check your phone to see when your uber was coming. You also see a text message.
hear me out— crazy and openly flirty! reader with her crazy and jealous bf Miles 42. Expand on that however you want
Okay so I had a thought...
A/n: Keep requesting fics as always. I’m not gonna be as active but I’ll post as often as I can bc I’m going on vacation for a week but idk, ill prolly still post a ton 💀
Warnings: Mentions of blood, implied murd3r, you being a flirt and Miles being crazy asf, lmk if I forgot some
Tumblr media
It seemed like a pretty normal day, you were designing some stuff for one of your classes and y/f/n(your crush/friend) decided to tag along. Y’all weren’t that close but everyone could tell there were sparks between you two, even more so than your boyfriend Miles.
Everyone(even y/f/n) knew that you two were dating and were happy but they still interfered. People claimed you were a slut and you were insane and you were forcing Miles into a relationship even though, people close to y’all claimed it to be the opposite. You never really broke the habit of flirting for fun and this pissed Miles off to no end:
“Y/n he thinks you’re single” Miles would say
“Well I’m not. I’m just naturally flirty” you would defend
“You’re also beautiful mami and people want to take advantage of that” Miles said
“Well thats why I have you” you would say, standing on your tiptoes to kiss Miles
“Mmm he better watch himself, let’s just say that next time he pulls that shit, I might not be so nice"
Miles was a wonderful boyfriend but your exact opposite. Where you were bright, happy, always had a smile on your face and friendly; Miles was dark, nonchalant, cold and walked around like his opps were around the corner, about to kill you. You two shared a few things though, you were both crazy and possessive of each other. If Miles spoke to a girl you didn’t know, you would come over and kiss him, touch him, and flirt with him; making him flustered
“Miles, te necisito, papi” you would flirt while tilting your head and rubbing his lower back
“Oh! Who is this?” the girl asked, with a hint of venom in her voice
“I’m Y/n but you can call me his wife” you said, putting out your hand for her to shake
“Girl chill, we’re 16. He ain’t marrying you anytime soon” the girl clapped back
“You don’t know me.” Miles would say coldly to the girl
“And you won’t get the chance to” you would finish and smile at the girl
The girl walked away in a huff after that and Miles smirked at you:
“You jealous ma?"
“No. I just don’t want people pushing up on my man” you said
He chuckled and said:
“Don’t worry, Mami; I’m not feeling no one else but you."
After this little escapade; You and Miles had the mutual agreement to stop flirting with other people and you held up your end of that well until y/f/n came along and kept pressuring you to go out with them and give them a chance:
“You know, if you were with me, I’d never let you out of my sight. Anywhere you go, I’d go. Class? I’ll carry your books. Home? I’m right behind you. The Bathroom? I’m-“ they started
“You’re what? No. Go ahead and continue that sentence, I dare you” Miles said suddenly
“MILES!!! Thank God you’re here, I was so scared” you said, clapping your hands together like a prayer had been answered(because it had).
“Dude, chill; I was just joking. Y/n knows I’d never overstep like that, bro” y/f/n said, holding out a hand in an attempt to dap your boyfriend up
“I’m not your ‘bro’ homeboy, watch how you step, it might be your last if you keep fucking with my girl like that” Miles said taking a step towards the person. They were almost equal height but Miles was slightly taller(6’2 yes ik its not canon and idc)
It seemed like they would fight right there in the hallway with the way Miles was staring at y/f/n and while y/f/n was a bit intimidated, they weren’t backing down. They were another one of your victims of over-flirtation but unlike the others, they were persistent and tried the friend angle in order to get to you but they didn’t sound on your boyfriend being jealous and possessive. Eventually, they walked away and Miles pulled you aside:
“Don’t fucking talk to them again, you understand ma?” Miles said
“I understand. I am so so sorry, they just came up to me and cornered me.” you explained with watery eyes
“It’s fine, ma. Don’t let it happen again, tu entiendes?” he said, grabbing your chin to look him in the eye
“Si, papi. Te amo” you said
The next few days were quiet. Miles stayed closer than usual to you, y/f/n stayed away but they stared at you constantly and smirked at you. It was one faithful Saturday that would change all of that in a flash.
Miles was away doing Prowler stuff and you were designing possible suit, mask and gauntlet combos when you heard a knock on your dorm. You opened the door and were shocked to see y/f/n:
“Hey, y/n. Can we talk?"
“Uhm I should wait for Miles. He’ll be back shortly” you lied. Prowler shit took four hours min because Miles would carry stuff out in bulk so he could spend more time with you
“We can talk without him right?” Y/f/n said, pushing into your dorm. Your dorm mate was away for the weekend, visiting her parents in nantucket.
“Oh. I guess” You said
“so what you drawing?’ they asked
“stuff” you giggled
“Fuck I love your laugh.” they smiled
“um thanks” you replied
“a pretty laugh for a pretty girl” they said, grabbing your chin and staring at your lips
“thanks. You caught me at a bad time, I’m just about to go shower” you said pushing their hand away
“Oh can I join, haha?” they joked
“hahaha.” you said, silently praying Miles was outside your window witnessing all of this and waiting to strike
“You know, I’ve had a huge crush on you since you first came here? You were genuinely sweet and kind and pretty. Miles doesn’t know how lucky he is to have someone like you” They confessed, closing the gap between y’all
“Yeah but I can tell he appreciates me. He never makes me feel uncomfortable” you said with a hint of venom
“Am I making you uncomfortable?” they asked, approaching your lips
“Yeah, very” you said trying to back away. At this point, you were praying for a miracle when all of a sudden, you hear a slashing noise and see blood on your floor
“I told you to stay away from her. I gave you a warning, this is on you homeboy”
“Who are you?” they spluttered out.
A mask opened up and suddenly he appeared
“I’m Miles Morales, but you You can call me the Prowler. Right, Amor?” Miles looked at you
“Right, baby. You said, kissing your man as the person in front of you, fades away.
She rushed to get her things into her bag. Study session was over and Pansy was waiting for her. So with her back to him, already leaving, she called out, “Love you, bye!” She didn’t think anything of it. They were friends. She said it to all her friends. It was true anyway. She did love him. More than she cared to admit, though she wasn’t even saying it in the way she wished she could. She was also in fact leaving. A farewell such as her simple “bye” was solely the product of her being well mannered. So, “Love you, bye!” was not a big deal. She said it all the time. Not to him, but she was hoping she could start.
“Say it again.” She stopped in her tracks but didn’t turn to face him. “Bye?” Did he not hear it the first time? “No.” Confused, she turned on her heel and faced her potions partner with a questioning raised eyebrow. They didn’t often need words to communicate, she wondered why hers mattered now. “The other part.” Draco wasn’t rolling his eyes, he wasn’t teasing or honestly confused. He had an expression on his face she couldn’t quite figure out. A slight frown caused subtle wrinkles in between his eyebrows. She wished she could kiss it all away. She smiled at the thought before remembering what was actually the “other part” of her send-off. “I love you?” Now her own eyebrows were creased, she didn’t quite understand what he wanted, but still, she just couldn’t shake the smile off her face. Maybe she just liked how these three little words rolled so easily off her tongue. They felt so loud against the otherwise silent library. She could only hope he liked hearing it as much as she loved saying it.
Lost in her thoughts, she barely caught how he let his head fall back and sighed. It wasn't really from relief. It felt more like contentment, satisfaction… pleasure. She just watched, Pansy long forgotten, as he ran his hand down his face and said, “C’mere.” And she did. As she came closer to his seat she looked around. Empty. They were completely alone in the library and her heart started to beat just a tad faster. “Draco…” He closed his eyes again. Savouring the sound. “Fuck… I never knew I’d love hearing my own name so bad.” She took another step. “Draco…” It was barely a whisper, a question, though she did not know which one exactly she was asking. He kept his eyes closed, even as he felt her knees hit his. “Dra-” “Say it again.” A smile couldn’t help but creep up her face. “Which part?” Opening his eyes, he rested his hands on the back of her thighs. “All of it.” He looked up at her, not used to such a vulnerable position. Yet, here he was, putty in her hands, begging to hear simple words, without even caring if they were true. She smiled and put her hands through his hair. Maybe it was the fact that they were already in such a compromising position or maybe it was just the opportunity that shutting his eyes again gave her. She wouldn’t have to hide the smile, or the blush, or the overall expression on her face that gave away how much she was truly enjoying it all. “I love you, Draco.” He didn’t open his eyes. He truly believed he would never again be able to. Not after hearing an angel speak of love and uttering the name of constellations without ever mentioning the night sky. He experienced the divine and couldn’t simply go back to a hardly enjoyable existence, where her hands weren’t in his hair and his own name wasn’t such ear-candy. He rested his forehead on her torso, just in front of him. It felt so easy, they were just so close, in every sense of the word. Barely lowering her head, she whispered in his ear, “I love you. I love you, Draco.”
How did they get there? Where along the way did longing stares and brush of hands become holding of thighs, caressing of hair, and deeply sincere “I love yous”? It didn’t really matter, all these questions about how and why and where and when. It was already happening and it felt so much better than any stolen glances and sleepless nights.
So, she said it again. “Draco, I love you.” “Yeah…” “I love you, Draco.” “Again…” “I love you.” “Mmm hmm…” That was all he could manage. He was basking in the affection he’d always dreamed of. He was high on it. Hooked on it. It consumed his very being. “I love you.” She’d say, kissing the top of his platinum hair. “I’ll tell you a thousand times a day if that’s what you want to hear. I’ll tell you even when you don’t ask me to.” She takes his face, guiding his gaze back to her. When he finally opens his eyes back up, he speaks before she ever gets a chance to. “I love you, Y/n.” She closes her eyes, relishing the words he had just said. “Fuck… it does sound quite good when it’s the right person saying it…”
Running in Circles- Six
Tumblr media
Pairing: Noah Sebastian x Reader (ft. Will Ramos😉)
CW: Angst, smoking, heavy tw for relapsing, talk of old addictions, falling back into depression and mania, reckless decisions, smut🤗 (p in v), a little soft switch action if you catch my drift
Word Count: 10k
Author’s Note: A lot is happening in this chapter, so brace yourselves. And there will be parts that are more fast-paced, but it fits into Y/N’s mental state. Also! I’m being repetitive and I’m really sorry. I tried working around it, but it’s the only way I can get these scenes to play out now that they’re written down.
Reader discretion is advised. 18+
Part Five
Tumblr media
Y/N
I arrived at the boys’ colossal house, staring at it in awe. I knew they were famous, and there were multiple grown men that lived here, but god damn it was big. Thankfully, that meant I had more room to stay away from those who I didn’t want to see at the moment.
I texted Matt that I was here, and I almost instantly saw the front door open to him, smiling excitedly. I giggled and began making my way up their stairs and into their house. I was immediately tackled by Tommy, who kept saying that he missed me and that he was lost without me here, but I just smiled and hugged him back.
The nerves were really hitting me now that I was here. People wouldn’t start showing up for at least another hour, so unless I found a place away from everyone, I’d have to deal with more awkward tension, just now inside his house.
I greeted everyone, getting a few compliments on my outfit and complimenting theirs back. I guess they all either did last-minute costume shopping as well or just had outfits from past years. Tommy was wearing a Chucky costume, and Tony matched it by wearing a white shirt, leather jacket, and blonde wig, looking like Tiffany. Cam spiked his hair up and found a crazy bowling shirt, looking like Guy Fieri.
Nick was wearing a leather jacket and jeans with his hair slicked back, I’m assuming going as a greaser. Jolly had a cape on and fake blood dripping down his mouth, looking like a lazy vampire. And then there was Ruffilo and Noah, wearing matching Akatsuki headbands and robes. Something tells me they already had those in their closet.
After chatting with everyone for a few minutes, Matt grabbed my hand and led me into the kitchen that was connected to the living room so I could start doing his makeup. I set all my makeup supplies on the island, laying everything out as he sat in one of the chairs, getting ready. I could hear the boys across the room chatting about all the things they would have set up for the party, making me smile. It was like they were planning a high school party with how excited they were.
“Okay, so have you decided?” I asked as I pulled everything out of my makeup bag.
“Just do a skull.” I side-eyed him as he answered.
“Dude. We have just over an hour, and you want me to do a skull? How detailed?”
“As detailed as you can get,” He said, almost challenging me. I scoffed out a laugh and sorted through the supplies, picking out everything I needed.
I started by giving him a white base before shaping out the details. I struggled to get past his long legs to reach certain areas, having to move around him a lot as I drew in each feature. I even had to hold his face and angle it to the side as I worked, tired of walking back and forth.
“This hurts. Just come here,” he grunted as he grabbed my waist to pull me onto his lap. I gasped in shock at the sudden movement, then laughed. I got myself comfortable, straddling his thighs as I continued working. I rested a hand on his shoulder as I started filling in the details of the teeth, trying to be as steady as possible. After getting the hard part done, I turn to grab a different brush, then get to filling in the eyes and nose. As I was filling in an eye, I heard something slam, cutting off the conversation across the room, and then footsteps walked out of the living room into somewhere deeper in the house. I jumped a little at the sudden noise, turning to look at the group behind me. They all looked a little stunned, and I realized that it was Noah who had made all the noise. Then Ruffilo stood, following wherever Noah went. I just rolled my eyes and went back to working on Matt.
“Hey! Close your eyes, you’re gonna mess it up!” I said as I saw him also looking at everyone. He instantly looked back at me and nodded, shutting his eyes again.
“Maybe you shouldn’t be sitting on my lap..” he whispered so only I could hear. I tsked.
“He’ll survive. I’m almost done anyway.” I whispered as I worked on finishing the nose.
Finally, I dusted on some setting powder so it wouldn’t smudge and slid off his lap. He looked at me, silently asking if it looked good, and I just smiled at my work. For rushing, I did a good fucking job! I told him I was done and started packing up all my makeup as he ran to show the other boys my work.
“What the fuck! I should’ve gotten her to do mine!” Tony yelled, making me laugh loud enough so they could hear me.
“Ton, come here! I’ll give you some finishing touches,” I shouted. I heard footsteps running towards me, and I looked up to see Tony sitting in the chair Matt was in. I don’t know why he tried using face paint for basic makeup, but I’m going to do my best to fix it.
After giving him a quick smokey eye, a dark lip, and the signature mole that he had forgotten, people started showing up, so I shooed him away to join everyone.
I quickly asked Tommy where I could toss my bag, not wanting it messed with, and he told me to have Jolly show me his room where he was keeping all of his things. Jolly then led me to where his room was located before returning to greet the guests.
I walked into his room and found Tommy’s things, setting my makeup bag on top of them. I turned around to head back to everyone, closing his bedroom door behind me. I began to walk back before hearing hushed voices near the end of the hallway.
“It’s pissing me the fuck off,” A low voice said, I’m assuming Noah.
“Then you’re letting her get to you. You know this is exactly what she wants.” Ruffilo replied. I had to hold back a snicker. I continue my way back down to everyone else, not wanting to eavesdrop too much. It’s not my problem anyway.
I grab my mask that I sat at the counter and go to sit down with Tommy, Cam, and Nick as we wait for more people to show up.
Tumblr media
The house was packed with people, some showing up in costumes, some just here to have a good time. I had a few drinks in me, making the anxiety ease more and more with every sip. I haven’t run into Noah again since earlier, but I also haven’t run into anyone in a while. I was sitting at the kitchen island, people-watching and sipping on my mixed drink. Everyone was having a blast, and I can’t say I wasn’t, but I was getting bored.
I tossed my mask back on and moved towards the now cleared-out dining room, where everyone was dancing. I tried to look for a familiar face, but there were at least a hundred people here, and I only knew eight of them. I start dancing to the music, getting the alcohol to flow through my body and ease the nerves. I feel a hand on my waist and turn to see someone dressed as Freddy Kreuger smirking down at me. He was pretty cute; he had shoulder-length hair, the pieces that framed the face were lighter than the rest, a full beard, and a sweet smile. I knew he couldn’t see my face, but I still smiled back before I started dancing with him.
The music wasn’t slow, but slow enough for us to move our bodies in sync with it. His hands were gently holding onto my hips as they moved with his. I held my hands against the back of his, holding him close to me. It felt weird, neither if us knowing who the other was, but I enjoyed how charming yet seductive he was being. Slowly a hand moved closer towards my stomach, pressing me into him more. We were moving like I was in control, but the way he held me, he had more power.
After a few songs and neither of us speaking, something caught my eye. I glance over and see someone with their arm hooked over a girl’s shoulders as they lead her up the stairs. But the person was someone with short hair and an Akatsuki costume. As hypocritical as it was, jealousy started burning inside me. I did my best to ignore it while dancing with the unknown Freddy Krueger, but it just wouldn’t leave my thoughts. Is he really taking her to his room right now? Yeah, I’ve danced with guys since we’ve fought, even flirted a little, but I haven’t done anything else. I haven’t even kissed anyone. And he’s going to sleep with her?
I couldn’t take the jealousy and rage in my body anymore. I softly turned and patted the unknown man’s shoulder as a goodbye before slipping out of his grasp. Maybe I’ll meet him again and actually speak to him, but right now, I couldn’t.
I squeezed my way through the crowd of people, doing everything I could to keep my emotions in check before I finally reached the front door. I sneak out of the house as fast as I can and hide out of sight towards the side of the house. I crouch down and take off my mask, starting to hyperventilate.
Why am I freaking out? Did I really expect to be the only one allowed to move on after the argument? Did I actually think ignoring him would make him apologize? So why am I getting nauseous over the thought of him sleeping with someone else? I mean, Fuck! It’s his birthday, for fuck’s sake! He deserves this. And I deserve this after how I treated him.
I let out a groan and dropped my head into my hands. Suddenly, I’m pulled out of my thoughts by footsteps approaching me. I look up and see a skeleton face.
“Babe, what happened?” Matt asked as he crouched down to my level. I just shook my head in response.
“I watched you push through everyone like there was a fire. Obviously, something is wrong.” He continued.
“I shouldn’t have come. It’s not my place. After the fight, I should’ve known that I needed to stay away until everything went back to normal.” I spoke softly, not caring if he heard or not.
“What? What the hell are you talking about? Did someone say something?” He was getting more concerned, and I felt terrible, but I couldn’t let him know. I couldn’t say it out loud.
“Can…Can you just take me back to my hotel?” I asked sheepishly. I felt terrible to take him away from everyone, but I didn’t want to wait for an Uber. He looked down at me, concerned, before nodding.
“Yeah, let me just go grab your bag, take my keys, and meet me in the car.” He said wearily before handing me his keys and quickly heading back inside. I grabbed everything I set on the ground and stood up, stalking towards his van. By the time I made it, he was running up behind me.
He handed me my bag as we both entered the van. I plopped back into the seat and sighed, staring out the window. I desperately wanted to ask if he heard anything while grabbing my bag, but I knew I couldn’t handle the answer. My stomach was already turning at the pain from just imagining it. I couldn’t handle knowing the truth.
We finally pulled off and started heading back to my hotel. He was fidgeting, like he was forcing himself not to do something, probably ask me more questions.
“I’m sorry to pull you away from the party. It seems like all I’ve been doing since we met was pull you away from the boys,” I mumbled. He glanced at me with a worried look before turning back to the road.
“Don’t say that. You’re going through a weird time, and I want to help. I enjoy spending time with you and care about you, so I’ll always be there if you need me.” I just sunk deeper into the seat. I wanted to go home. I should’ve just gone home. Maybe it could’ve cleared my head before I had to return to touring.
Suddenly, a scent infiltrates my nose, probably caused by it being soaked into both of our clothes from the party, bringing me back to every other time I’ve felt like this. Like I wanted to rot away in bed. The smell only triggered the nostalgia in times like this, and there was nothing I could do to stop it from taking over. I missed it. I needed it.
“Can we stop at a convenience store real quick?” I ask him. He looked at me confused but agreed. After a few minutes, he pulls into the parking lot of a store.
“Just wait here. It’ll only take a second,” I tell him before slipping out of the car and making my way into the store.
I walk towards the registers and stare at the wall behind it, weighing my decisions. After a moment or two, the cashier walks over and asks what I want.
“American Spirits blue and,” I pause to grab a lighter from the stand, sliding it in front of me, “This, too.”
She rings me up, and I quickly grab my items before heading back to the car. Matt gives me a confused look, glancing down at the pack in my hands, then back up at me.
“You smoke?” He asked.
“Used to.” was all I said before I turned back to face out the window. I felt his eyes stay on me. He probably wanted to say something but then decided against it as he turned the car back on and made our way back to the hotel.
A few minutes later, we reached the hotel. I give him a quick ‘thanks’ and tell him to go back to having fun at the party. He gives me a sad look but just says ‘goodbye’ and to stay safe, before driving off.
I stay outside and wait for him to drive out of sight before walking over to a bench outside the hotel. I set my things down beside me and just stared at the pack of cigarettes in my hand. It took me months to get rid of the cravings the last time I touched these, but I always came back. There was always an event that led my thoughts right back to desperately craving them.
I pull one out and set the pack next to me with the rest of my stuff. I eye the lone cigarette for a few seconds, internally debating if this was the choice I wanted to make. But honestly, It was already in my hands, and it was nowhere near as bad as the other things my ex got me hooked on, so I placed it between my lips and lit it. It instantly produced the sweet nostalgic smell I always missed. I inhaled, held for a second, and then exhaled.
It tasted like home. Like the times where I searched for one, looking for that feeling of safety. It reminded me of dealing with Gus. How I always had one in my hand as I slowly weaned off other things. God, Tommy is going to be so pissed at me. But I didn’t care. I wasn’t in the mood to please others at the moment. I needed to take care of myself.
I finished off the cigarette, tossing it into the trash. I grabbed my things and made my way to my hotel room, just wanting to lie down.
Tumblr media
I slept off and on the whole night. Every time I woke up, I’d just start crying again. It wasn’t always over the situation with Noah. All the feelings I dealt with in the past came crashing back down. I hadn’t moved an inch since I laid here when I got back, other than to toss and turn.
I heard my phone chiming every once in a while, but I just turned it off. I didn’t want to do this, but every time the depression came back, especially this hard, I couldn’t control it. I either secluded myself or made dumb decisions. In the past, the boys watched over me to make sure it didn’t get too bad, but this time, I was allowed to let it take over.
It was now two in the afternoon, and I desperately needed to get a shower. I ran through every idea in the book to convince me to actually do something. I didn’t want to see friends, so that wouldn’t work. I didn’t want to take a walk to look at the places in the city. I didn’t want to do anything but lay here.
That’s when I really noticed how uncomfortable I was in my outfit from last night. The fishnets dug into me, and my makeup was so smeared and caked up from sleeping in it that it felt like I shoved my face in dirt. I tried to ignore it, but I felt so disgusting that I just had to push myself out of bed.
I walked to the bathroom and looked at myself, grimacing at my appearance. I debated if I could just get away with makeup wipes and a change of clothes, but I realized I was already here, standing in front of the shower, so why not?
After a shower that lasted about an hour, sitting on the floor most of it, I finally got out and started getting dressed. I looked through my clothes, trying to find something comfy to wear, but there wasn’t much that peaked my interest. I could toss on pajamas and just rot in bed, or I could put on something that might make me feel good about myself. Then it hit me. Shopping. Spending money. That’s exactly what will cheer me up.
Tumblr media
I spent a good three hours shopping, moving from store to store, getting anything I thought would make me look good. I landed on a specific dress (more like a lingerie piece), and that led me to where I was now—getting ready to hit up a club.
I needed to keep myself on my feet unless I wanted to fall back into a hole of self-pity. So, I was currently doing my hair and makeup to look as hot as possible, needing to look better than I feel right now.
I finally turned my phone back on and answered a few messages, mainly just letting Tommy and Matt know that I was okay. I had more from the other boys, but I figured those two could let the rest know that I was still alive.
Once I felt like I looked good, I ordered my Uber and grabbed all my stuff to head downstairs and wait for it. While waiting, I smoked a few cigs. It felt so good to feel the nicotine coursing through my blood again. I was genuinely excited to go somewhere by myself again. It almost never happened, as at least one of my boys always wanted to tag along, mostly for my safety but also because they were party animals. But tonight was for me. I needed to let go and do something for me and only me.
I see my Uber pull up and quickly put out my cigarette before hopping in. I greeted the driver, and we made our way to the club. The drive wasn’t too long, so we just chatted about how our days were and how the city was treating us before we pulled up outside the club. I gave him my thanks and got out.
I could hear the music blasting as I walked through the doors. It was only eight P.M., so it wasn’t going to get crazy for a while, but it was still packed.
I make my way to the bar and order myself a drink, not really caring about waiting for someone to buy me one this time. I needed alcohol pumping through me as soon as possible if I wanted to truly have fun tonight.
Once the bartender handed me my drink, I bee-lined to the dance floor. I’ve been dancing so much lately, and I loved it. I found a group of girls and stayed close to them as everyone danced to the music. The music and alcohol flowed through my body, and I felt amazing. The girls danced with me with giant smiles on their faces, none of us having spoken before, just relishing in having a good time tonight. Maybe it was because it was L.A. or that none of these people knew my music, but I really enjoyed just letting myself go on the dancefloor and have no one watching me. Maybe I need to move out here someday. The people were sweeter than those in New York, and it wasn’t crazy to spot someone more known on the streets, so you weren’t bombarded by fans when all you wanted to do was get a slice of pizza.
The music finally switched over to slower songs, and it was almost like they were waiting as I instantly had a guy come over and dance with me. I won’t lie, I was a little tired of dancing with random guys, especially after the whole debacle last night, but I decided to enjoy it for a song before I got a new drink.
I didn’t even turn to see what he looked like, I just swayed my hips with the music, and he held on for the ride. He was getting a little handsy, but nothing too bad, so I let him be. Then, he started getting a little too close to a tit, so I decided if I wanted to deal with all of that, I definitely needed another drink. I slipped away from him and snuck into the crowd of people, heading towards the bar. There were a lot of people waiting for drinks, and I debated for a minute if I wanted to wait in line or just come back. I was starting to crave another cig, so I decided to just come back.
I made my way out to the patio, where everyone else was smoking. Only four people were there, so it wasn’t cramped as I slipped outside. I dug around in my purse, looking for what I needed. I quickly checked the time and saw that it was somehow already eleven. Guess it’s going to be a late night for me, but I’m having fun, so who cares?
I pull out the pack and a lighter, taking one before putting it back in my purse. I feel someone slip by me as I light my cigarette, so I move out of their way. Taking a puff, I hear a quiet ‘shit’ and multiple clicks of a lighter. Then, they tap on my shoulder.
“Can I steal a light real quick?” They ask. I nod as I take another hit and hand them my lighter. I hear them light their cigarette, taking a quick puff, before handing the lighter back to me. I finally look at them as I reach out.
“Oh!” I say, a little shocked. His eyes focused on me a little better, trying to see if he knew me. Then shock spreads across his face.
“Y/N!! I didn’t know you were in L.A.!” Will exclaimed. It took me a few moments to answer, still stunned that the man I had been occasionally chatting with after looking up to him for a few years was right in front of my eyes.
“Oh my god! Will! Yeah, we’re all on break for a week, and they decided to stay in L.A.” I take another hit before leaning against the railing, “What are you doing here?”
“We’re staying with a friend for a few days. Yo, that’s crazy that we both ended up here at the same time.” He mimicked my actions, leaning against the railing as he spoke.
“In L.A. and at this club!“ I continued, “Are you here with the band?”
“Yeah. They wanted to do something fun tonight, so they dragged me here, but I’m not too much of a fan of clubs so I’ve just been a wallflower the whole night. What about you? Is your band here?”
“Nah, I was finally able to have some alone time with them staying at the Bad Omens abode and figured I should also go out and meet new people since those idiots are all I see nowadays,” I laugh out.
“So, are you having fun? Meet any new people?” He asks. He took another puff of his cigarette, and when he went to flick off the ash, I watched as his eyes trailed down my body. I forgot how much skin I was showing in this ‘dress.’
“Fun? Yes. Meeting people? No. I just came out here because some weirdo was getting a little handsy on the dance floor, so I wanted to step away for a bit. And the bar is packed.” I laughed out. He chuckled, but I could tell his mind wasn’t as focused as it could be as his eyes trailed over my tattoos, most of them on display.
“Well, I’m happy to be the person you meet tonight,” He finally says, snapping out of his trance. I giggled and finished my cigarette, ashing it out and tossing it in the ashtray they had out here.
“I am really happy to see you. I’ve been thinking of a good time to plan a meet-up, but it probably wasn’t going to happen for a while because of tour, so I’m glad I got to run into you here.” He nodded as he finished his cig, doing the same.
“No yeah, I agree. Ever since I saw that video and started chatting with you, I knew you’d be fun to hang out with. Maybe sometime this week, we can make plans and either do that vocal lesson I promised, or just hang out.” He gave me his signature smile, making me mirror it.
“I’d really like that. I didn’t have much planned this week. All I knew was that I needed to do stuff myself and not with everyone I was going to spend the next three months with.” I replied. He nodded with a sweet smile before glancing inside, remembering where we were.
“Come on, let me buy you a drink. You’re the most fun I’ve had all night, and I don’t want this conversation to end just yet.” I agreed, so we made our way back inside. He had a hand on my lower back as we walked to the bar. I felt heat rush to my cheeks as he held it there while we waited. Hey, I never said I didn’t have a small crush on him, so this was definitely getting my heart racing.
We ordered our drinks and just chatted about what our bands were up to and what we’d done the past few days as we waited for them to be made. I told him about the party last night, obviously leaving out the ending, to which he replied by complimenting my costume, saying that he had never seen such a hot Ghost Face. I gave him a shy smile and a small ‘thank you.’
“By the way, you also look absolutely amazing tonight,” He added, using this as a chance to graze his eyes over my body once more. The compliments and looks were hitting my core, so all I could give him was another shy ‘thanks,’ hoping the lights hid the blush that I could feel creeping over my body.
Our drinks finally arrived, and I thanked Will and the bartender. We walked away from the bar and towards one of the walls, probably where he had been standing the whole night. We continued talking and sipping our drinks, occasionally laughing at what the other said. I didn’t know what to do with my hands or mouth when I wasn’t talking, as I was still a little starstruck that I was chatting with him and that he had been complimenting me, so I accidentally finished my drink pretty quick. He didn’t seem to notice, but I could feel the alcohol coursing through my veins, giving me a boost of confidence that I definitely needed right now.
And just in time, another slower song started playing. I glanced out at the dance floor, then back at Will. He looked so good and all I wanted to do was dance tonight, so courage took over as I set my now empty drink down and took his hand, leading him to the dance floor. It spooked him for a second, but he quickly gave in. I finally stop once we’re deep enough in the sea of people. He leaned down to my ear to speak.
“I’m not a good dancer,” he said before pulling his head back. I just laughed and grabbed the back of his head, pulling him back down until I reached his ear.
“Just follow my lead.”
I turned around and pressed my body against his before reaching behind, grabbing his hands, and placing them on my hips. He tensed for a moment, seemingly shocked at how quickly I was getting into it, but eventually eased into me. I leaned back into his chest and swayed my hips. I felt his hands tighten on my waist as our hips made contact, making me smirk.
We moved our bodies to the music perfectly. I had been dancing a lot the past month, but no one fitted against me as well as Will did. He let me take control and just went along with the movement of my body.
Soon, his hands started moving up, stopping at the bottom of my ribs as he lost himself in the music and dance. I sneakily pressed into him more as he did so, causing me to feel a rumble in his chest, probably from a groan. Then, I pulled my signature move. I placed a hand on top of one of his and hooked the other behind me to rest against his neck, pulling us closer. His head dropped and landed on my shoulder as our bodies fit into each other’s like a glove. I continued moving my hips to the music, occasionally pressing into his more, and every time I did, he’d let out a low growl, the sound shooting right to my core. It was almost like he was taming himself. But that just made this more fun to me.
I let my head drop back into his shoulder, us now fitting together like two puzzle pieces. His hands slid in towards my stomach, and he pressed my body even closer to his. I felt him growing against my ass, and I had to bite back a whimper. More than anything did I want to grab his hand and drag it lower, but I wasn’t going to be that girl who did this at a club, especially if anything got out about this. Almost as if he read my mind, he lifted his head to speak.
“Let’s get out of here.” He almost growls into my ear. All I could do was nod in response.
We managed to mostly keep our hands to ourselves the whole ride back to the hotel. Nothing happened besides a hand on my thigh and our hearts racing until we reached my hotel room. The second I opened the door, and we entered, he pushed me against the back of it, slamming it closed and making me giggle. His lips instantly attached to mine as my hands landed on his sides, pulling him close. His hands traveled down my body before reaching my ass, kneading it. The kiss was a mess, teeth clashing and giggles spilling through. I reached my arms up and around his neck, holding him close as his hands slid down to my thighs, tapping one to signal me to jump. My legs immediately hooked around his hips as he pressed me further into the door.
Now, at the perfect angle, he pushed his hips into mine, causing both of us to groan at the incredible friction it caused. I pulled away and started trailing kisses down his jaw and onto his neck. He threw his head to the side once I reached the spot that was most sensitive, so I kept nibbling at it. His hips bucked into mine once I started working on leaving a mark as he let out beautiful, airy moans.
He pulled me away from the door and carried me to the bed, dropping me on it. I bounced as I fell and giggled, looking up at him. His eyes were dark, but he still had his sweet smile on his lips, using the moment of me laid out in front of him to officially take in my appearance.
“That fucking dress. This would’ve never happened if you didn’t wear this goddamn dress,” He growled, bringing an arm down to trail over my body, “I almost want you to keep it on, but that’s no fun.”
He leaned down to hover over me, crashing his lips back into mine. A hand traveled down my body, sliding under my dress and lifting it up as it moved back up and over my frame. My hands reached around him, pulling on the back of his shirt, wanting him to take it off. Getting the signal, he briefly stood and pulled his shirt off before coming back down and attaching his lips to my neck. The hand that wasn’t holding him up was moving up my stomach, so I arched my back so the dress could pull up as his hand reached my breast. He gently caressed it as he attacked my neck. I needed more.
My hands traveled up his chest and around his neck as a leg hooked around his hip, pulling his body weight into me. He let out a groan into the crook of my neck as I did my best to grind my hips against his under the weight. He nipped at my shoulder as I worked on getting any relieving friction.
He pulled away from me, making a whimper escape my throat, as he unbuttoned his pants and dropped them to the ground. He crawled into the bed and leaned up against the pillows before reaching over and grabbing me, pulling me into his lap. I gasped and giggled at how simple it was for him to ragdoll me around.
I looked down at him with my hands on his shoulders once I was settled in his lap. His hands were on my hips, gripping them with the only restraint he had left. He crashed his lips into mine again and instantly started rocking my hips against his, causing moans to spew out and into each other’s mouths. I did my best to match his movements, but my hips shuttered every time I felt the perfect amount of pressure on the desperate bundle of nerves. I had to pull away from the kiss and drop my head into the crook of his neck as I did my best to control my breathing in between gasps and moans. I quickly leaned back and finished taking off the now hitched up dress, wanting to feel his skin on mine before returning to the position I was in before. I couldn’t tell if he liked me being on top or if he enjoyed being able to use me like a toy, but I didn’t care. Between the movement, the friction of us both still in our underwear, and his bitten back moans in my ear, I was already so close.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and dug my face deep into them as I felt the knot in my stomach getting tighter and tighter. My mind was so focused on the feeling that I let him take complete control again, gliding my hips against his with ease.
“Come on, precious,” He growled as he started leaving sloppy kisses on my shoulders, “Cum for me.”
As if my body was unable to disobey a command, I was instantly thrown over the edge. I held onto him tighter as my body tensed, and a loud, airy moan escaped my lips. He didn’t stop his movements, just gradually slowed down to let me ride out the high. I did my best to control my breathing as electricity shot through my body. He finally eased to a stop and just pulled me close to him as I came down from my high.
Once I fully recovered, I lifted my head from his neck and looked at him. His eyes were still full of lust, and the grip on my hips forcefully held me against his rock-hard cock. This was nowhere near over. I bit my lip before speaking.
“Condom?” I sheepishly asked. He looked at me a little wide-eyed, probably shocked that I was already wanting to continue, but then he pointed towards his jeans that laid on the floor.
I swiftly leaned over the side of the bed and rummaged through his pockets. Eventually, I saw a small sliver of foil peeking out from his wallet, so I slid it out and sat back up and onto his lap. I ripped open the package but then set it beside me as I looked back into his eyes. He was just watching me, mouth slightly ajar. My hands moved to the waistband of his boxers, fingers hooking into them. We both lifted ourselves slightly so I could pull them down. Once far enough down, his rock hard member sprung up, the tip bright red and leaking precum. I just had to touch it, so I bit my lip and wrapped my hand around it, causing Will’s head to fall back with a groan. I softly giggled as I started moving my hand up and down. His hands landed on the tops of my thighs, gripping them, trying to ground himself. I only gave it a few strokes, before pulling away to grab the condom. The second I pulled away, he looked back at me, catching his breath. His eyes trailed down to my hands, following them as I slid the condom onto him, with a whimper escaping his lips as I rolled it on.
Using his shoulders as leverage, I lifted myself up to hover over him. I had completely forgotten about the fabric still between us until he slipped his hand up from my thigh, pushing my panties to the side. With both of us watching where we met, I slowly lowered myself onto him. A soft gasp let my lips as I felt him stretch me. Slowly but surely, I eased myself down, taking in the stretch the best I could.
I looked back up at him once our hips finally met, and a whimper erupted in my throat as I saw him, eyes closed with his head thrown back, taking in the feeling. Once the pressure subsided, I started moving up and down. His eyes shot open, and he let out a groan as I moved, his hands immediately sliding up to my hips. Something took over me, and I reached down, lacing my fingers with his before lifting them above his head and holding them against the wall behind him as I sped up my movements. His head shot up, and he looked at me a little shocked, but I just crashed my lips back into his, moaning into his mouth.
He instantly faltered to the dominance and let me take over, whimpering and moaning underneath me. God, this was the hottest thing I’ve ever witnessed. I pulled away from the kiss and started trailing sloppy kisses down his neck.
“Oh..f-fuck..” He moaned out. He was like a puddle in my hands, and I loved it.
An array of sinful noises clouded the room, his being louder than mine as I nipped and sucked love bites all over his neck. The sounds he made just got messier and messier, and I could sense that he was reaching his breaking point. I felt him twitch inside of me, signaling that he was close, so without changing my speed, I took one of his hands in my hold and placed it on my chest before dragging it down until it reached between my legs. Immediately understanding, he began rubbing my clit with what little brain power he had left.
I leaned back so that every time I came back down, he was hitting me right where I needed him to. Between that, him rubbing me, and the chorus of whimpers and moans that escaped us both, we both got closer and closer to our climax.
“I- fuck.. I’m gonna cum..” He whimpered out between moans. The knot in my stomach was seconds away from snapping.
“Me too, baby. Cum for me.” Saying that immediately sent him over the edge, me following seconds later.
We were so loud, I wouldn’t be surprised if I got noise complaints. I tried my best to keep moving, but it came over me so intense all I could do was fall into his chest again. He wrapped both arms around me, holding me tight as he rutted into me a few times, each one shooting more pleasure and electricity through my nerves.
We finally both stilled, other than our heavy breathing. We were both holding onto each other for dear life until our minds cleared. Slowly, our bodies relaxed, but neither of us showed any sign of moving. We just held each other close, catching our breaths.
He started leaving soft kisses on my shoulder, so I took that as a sign to finally move off of him. With a groan from both of us at the feeling, I slowly lifted myself off of him and laid down beside him, exhausted. He quickly got up and disposed of the condom before coming back and joining me. I giggled as he slid himself under the covers, pulling them over me.
The crash from all the energy I let out today was officially approaching, and I could feel myself start to drift off. He took notice and pulled us together, wrapping an arm over me.
“Goodnight, my little petal,” He said before leaving a kiss on my temple. I giggled at the new nickname before nuzzling in closer to him, a little cold from being almost completely bare.
“By the way, you’re fucking hot when you’re in control,” He whispered, making me bust out laughing.
“Noted,” I said before letting myself drift off.
I blinked open my eyes, raising a hand to wipe the crusties that had formed over them, before realizing it was actually my makeup that I had slept in. Then, I noticed the soft snoring beside me and looked over to see a bare-chested Will.
Oh fuck. I didn’t. I mean, I know I did. I remember it perfectly, but my now clear mind can’t believe I let the alcohol and lust take over last night. You just had to bring Will home out of all people? You’re supposed to be making things in your life less awkward. God damnit, Y/N. You keep fucking shit up when you’re in this state.
I went to sit up, trying my best not to wake him, but he immediately stirred in his sleep. His snores stopped, and his eyes slowly opened. He groaned as he raised a hand to his eyes, shielding them from the light before he realized where he was.
His hand immediately dropped, and he looked at me, shocked. I couldn’t help but anxiously chew on my lip, waiting for him to say something. But instead, he just started laughing.
“Boy, am I glad to see you and not some random chick.” He finally said. I lightly smacked his arm, a small smile forming on my face.
“Not funny, Will. What the hell happened?” He suppressed his laughs before turning over and facing me.
“They made strong ass drinks, is what happened,” He teased before a shocked look covered his face, “Wait! Not that I had to be drunk to sleep with you! I jus-“
I cut him off by laughing and smacking his shoulder again.
“I know what you mean.”
“Okay, I’ll just shut up now.” I shook my head, giggling, before standing up from the bed and walking over to my clothes, throwing in something warm and comfy, as the chill morning air was freezing my almost naked body.
After getting clothes on, I turned back around to Will, who was staring at me, almost in a trance. I snapped my fingers a few times, smirking.
“Will. Eyes up here,” I said with a giggle. He finally came back to reality and chuckled.
“Sorry, I was just thinking about that goddamn dress,” He groaned out as he fell back onto the bed. I walked over and sat at the edge of his bed, where his legs were. He noticed my more serious demeanor and sat up.
“So… I hope you know that this wasn-“
“No, no. I completely agree. Yes, you’re extremely attractive, but I never even saw you that way before last night, and I think it was both the alcohol and you choice in clothes taking over me,” He softly laughed out as he leaned forward and put a hand on mine, “One time thing. We can act like it never even happened.”
“One time thing,” I repeated. He nodded, staring at me with a serious look.
“Y/N, all I really wanted was to be your friend. So, if you promise that this doesn’t make anything weird, then we’re friends and only friends, okay?” I immediately nodded.
“I completely agree. I knew we got along really well… Maybe a little too well, “ I say, chuckling, “But I truly just wanted to be your friend. The past few days were really weird days for me and I may have made decisions that I normally wouldn’t make, but as long as you’re okay with leaving it behind, then I am too.”
“Absolutely. But I still wanna hang out with you this week before we both go back to our normal lives.” He offered.
“As long as you put some clothes on,” I teased. He looked down at himself, before chuckling and standing up, grabbing his clothes from last night and tossing them back on.
“Oh, fuck. I completely left the guys at the club without telling them anything.” He scrambled to grab his phone, opening and checking his messages, before laughing, “They said that they saw me leaving with, and I quote, ‘a hot ass chick, so have fun.”
I just shook my head, giggling. I guess I got exactly what I was looking for last night. If only I was in a better mind and didn’t go out looking to wake up in bed with someone. I guess I’m lucky that it was him and not some random person.
“You wanna head over to where we’re staying and run a small vocal lesson like I promised? They have a studio there.” He asked, pulling me out of my thoughts.
“Yeah, let me just fix…this,” I said, gesturing over my entire head, making him laugh.
We both thanked the Uber driver and hopped out, heaving up to another large house. I’m coming to realize that’s just how L.A. is, especially spending time with musicians. But we also weren’t too far from where the boys lived, so maybe it’s just this part of town.
My nerves were eating at me, but I tried my best to hide it. I was about to meet the rest of Lorna Shore. I have listened to them for years, fascinated by the music they created, and I was about to meet the geniuses behind it all. I know, being a musician myself, that I shouldn’t treat them any differently, but I can’t stop myself from freaking out like I was meeting an idol, because I technically was.
We step through the doors, and I take a look around. This place looked so much more put together than the Bad Omens’ house, but then again, that was purely taken care of by four boys who were rarely home.
Will walks in further, trying to find a sign of anyone else in the house, so I close the door and follow him. We reach the kitchen and find Austin and Micco. I stared, stunned for a few moments as the three boys greeted each other but thankfully snapped out of it once they turned to me.
“I’m Y/N..It’s a pleasure to meet you,” I greet, trying my best not to be weird, but I don’t think it was working.
“Oh shit! Wait! You’re the girl from the video!” He exclaimed, making me blush a little and nod. I guess the whole band saw the video.
“Yeah, Will promised me some vocal lessons, so when we ran into each other last night, he figured we could do that..today..” I trailed off as both Austin and Micco’s eyes widened and looked between us.
“Last night?” Micco asked both of us before staring at Will, who shrunk into himself.
“Don’t talk about it! It never happened!” He said as he raised his hands in defense.
“Well, you’re gonna need to do a little more to prove that,” Austin said, pointing towards Will’s neck, making Will reach a hand up and cover it.
“We’re gonna head up to the studio,” Will rushed out as he turned, grabbed my arm, and pulled me away from them.
“Remember, this isn’t our house!” Micco shouted towards us as we made our way to said studio.
We reached the room, and Will closed the door behind me. I looked around the room in complete awe. It was a beautiful studio. I never even asked whose house we were at, but they had an amazing collection of guitars, a huge drum set, and a gorgeous sound booth set up.
“I guess you’re liking Dave’s studio,” he laughed. I turned to him with a confused look.
“Dave?” I asked.
“Pérez,” he said, causing my face to immediately shift to shock.
“I’m in Davier Pérez’s fucking house right now?” I almost yelled. He laughed at my reaction.
“I didn’t realize you knew DevilDriver. Yeah, he’s Austin’s buddy.” I just stared at him.
“I can’t do this. It’s bad enough that I just met two members of Lorna Shore, but now I’m gonna have to meet the drummer of DevilDriver because now I’m in his house without his knowledge.” He just laughed at me.
“First off, I didn’t realize you were that big of a fan, and second, you literally slept with a member of Lorna Shore. So, I think you’re okay. No need to freak out.” I smacked his shoulder at the last part, making him laugh more before continuing, “Come on, let’s get to work.”
He walked over to the control board and sat down before turning to me. I followed him but looked at him confused when he sat down.
“Why are we over here?” I asked.
“Get in,” he replied, motioning towards the sound booth. I looked at him, even more confused.
“But..how is that gonna help with lessons?”
“I wanna hear your isolated vocals. You’ll still hear the music through the headphones, but I’ll only hear you,” he said with a smirk. Suddenly, I regretted coming here.
“I-uh.. what if they’re not good?” I asked, getting a little nervous.
“Well, that’s kinda the whole point of lessons. To make you better,” he answered like it was obvious.
I looked between him and the sound booth, debating if I was willing to embarrass myself in front of him, but once I remembered that I was literally naked in front of him last night, I just thought, ‘fuck it,’ and walked in.
I close the door behind me and stand in front of the microphone. Seeing the headphones hanging off of them, I put them on and turned to look at Will through the glass. He leaned forward and pressed a button, I guess so I could hear him.
“What song will it be?” he asked. What song am I least likely to fuck up?
“Uh..you pick,” I spoke into the mic. He laughed at my answer.
“There’s no way you know every Lorna Shore song,” he teased, making me blush. I opened my mouth to retort back but couldn’t think of anything, “Okay. I’ll just play ‘To the Hellfire’ since that’s one of our easiest ones, and I know, for sure, that you know that one.”
He hit random ass buttons, obviously knowing how a control board worked. I heard a second of the beginning of the song before he paused it, flicking a few controls before turning back to me. My stomach was in my ass with nerves, but there was no going back now.
“This is all so new to me. I have no fucking clue what’s happening. Every time we recorded anything, we were just told to play, and they did most of the work,” I quickly said into the mic. He laughed and shook his head before pressing the button that let me hear him.
“Calm down. I’m the only one who will hear you. Now, I am recording you, but only for us to go back and work on what needs help. Are you okay with that?” I nodded in response, so he continued, “Alright. I’m gonna count you down, and then you do the rest.”
He watched me for my response, but I just nodded again. It was mainly to myself, trying to convince myself that everything was fine and that I could do this.
He hovered his hand over a button, keeping his eyes on me. He raised the other, holding up a three, two, and then one. Then, the music started. I took a deep and closed my eyes, trying to channel my inner Will as the intro played out. I started off with my best goblin scream as I sang along. I did my best to remember the notes I had written down years ago, analyzing when to switch screams and which ones to switch into.
After a minute, I lifted my hands to the headphones, pulling one off my ear since I couldn’t hear myself but pressing the other side closer to the other so I could hear every note that Will hit, racking my memory so I knew when to reach each one.
I’ve never been so focused. It wasn’t until I was towards the end that I realized I wasn’t moving around as much as I usually do. I dropped my hands and shook out my body, getting ready for the last few lines.
With a deep breath, I hit the lowest guttural I could for ‘My final breath,’ switching to a tunnel goblin for ‘Swallowed by the womb of,’ then my lowest tunnel for ‘death.’ I sang the next two lines with more of a pig squeal, ending with a tunnel. Then, it was time for the main act.
I contorted my body as I did the best snorts and squeals I could before ending with a goblin, holding it out the longest I could. I finally opened my eyes once the music ended and turned to Will, who was sitting back in his chair with a smile on his face. He leaned forward and pressed the button so I could hear him talk.
“Get the fuck out here,” He laughed. I took the headphones off and exited the sound booth. I looked at him, anxiously chewing on my lip, waiting to hear his opinion.
“Dude,” He paused to laugh and rub his face, “How in the fuck have you never taken lessons for shit like this? Hearing that through a fucking phone was nothing compared to hearing that isolated and right in front of me.”
“So it was good?” I asked sheepishly. He laughed harder before standing.
“Don’t be mad, but I’ll be right back. Wait right here,” he said before leaving the room. I watched him, confused, before sitting down in the chair he was in to wait for him.
I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket, so I pulled it out and saw that Matt had texted me.
Matty- HELLO????
Matty- WILL’S STORY???
Confused, I immediately switched over to Instagram and typed in Will’s username, clicking on his story. He had posts of him and the band at the club last night, but the last post was a video of me in the sound booth, singing. It was muted, thank god, but he wrote, ‘I got the next deathcore vocalist right here. I can’t wait for yall to hear what she can do.’
I know I should be mad, but having him say these things about me made me realize that maybe I didn’t have a reason to hide this. Maybe I should follow my dreams and do more harsh vocals.
I got pulled out of my thoughts to the door opening, and six guys piled into the room. I immediately stood up, ready to greet those that I hadn’t met yet. Will introduced me to Andrew, Moke, and Dave before walking past me to the control board. He turned to me before speaking.
“Now, I do need your permission to show them this, but I need you to know that this was fucking insane, and I just have to show someone, is that okay?” I looked at him, stunned, before nodding. He gave me a smile before hitting a few buttons. My isolated vocals started playing through the speakers, and I couldn’t help but make a face at how high the quality was, revealing every mistake I made. It was impossible for my vocal range to sound anything near Will’s since I had a more feminine range, but if Will liked it, I guess it was good enough.
I turned to the men behind me, and they were all looking at me shocked, with Andrew, Moke, and Austin making a stank face, showing that they were really into it. I turned back to Will, and he gave me a proud smile.
Finally, once the song was over and the room quieted down, they all just looked at me stunned, making me shrink into myself at the attention.
“Holy fuck,” Austin finally said, causing the rest of them to agree in a chorus.
“Now, it’s not perfect, but that’s because she’s singing a cover and learned everything on her own. But, if she wrote her own shit and used these vocals, oh my fucking god, dude,” Will said to them, chuckling at the end. I had no idea what to add to this. I could accept compliments on my outfits or my music now, but this was an entirely new territory for me.
“I-uh..thank you?” I managed to get out. Will snorted before walking over to me and wrapping an arm around my shoulders.
“You’re welcome, now I need you to get back in the sound booth so we can hear each of your screams so I know what you even need help with,” he smirked as he spoke.
“We?” I asked, looking around at all of them before looking back at Will. He just giggled, making me roll my eyes before slipping out of his grip and walking back into the sound booth.
“You’re staring,” You tell Phil while he watches—stares at you as you get ready, putting on your earrings and the final touches of your look for the night.
“I can’t help it, baby,” He grins, walking up to you, his hands landing on your dress-adorned waist while his head perches on your shoulder as he looks into the reflection of the en suite bathroom mirror.
“You of all people should know what you do to me,” He whispered and you could feel his grin by the way his teeth grazed your ear. And you knew it wasn’t going away any time soon.
“How crazy I am about you.” It was the truth. The whole truth and nothing but. He was a lucky guy and he was reminded everyday. Especially now he thought, unable to keep his eyes off the way the dress hugged your curves in all the right places. However, that’s not to say you weren’t a lucky girl.
It was hard to find someone genuinely interested in you; not interested in your status or solely for the fact of being seen with you. Phil didn’t care in the slightest. You thought maybe he’d change, that maybe he’d end up using you, that maybe his interests would turn elsewhere, that maybe he was just like the others. But they stayed the same, he stayed the same. The same english teacher you spilled your coffee on in a cafe in California, and the same english teacher who had no clue who you were then.
Truth be told, he didn’t like the limelight. It wasn’t made for him the way it was made for you, he would say. And so you kept him out of that part of your life as much as you could and he thanked you for it.
Albeit, It was harder than it proved to be because the paparazzi always seemed to get their way and there wasn’t really any way around it. You could stop some photos from circulating, but not them altogether. So, when you asked Phil to come to Monte Carlo with you to celebrate your best friends birthday and watch the Monaco Grand Prix, it was safe to say you were a bit hesitant.
“F’course, I’ll go.” But he wasn’t. He would do anything if you wanted, and he made it clear that all you had to do was ask. And who was he to turn down the opportunity to watch F1? You and he were content with the private life you had—as private as it could be. But there were some times where you wanted to show off. Especially when he looked the way he did.
“I could say the same about you,” You whisper back, turning to face him in his hold. “You’ve always looked good in all black. But to be honest you look good in anything—preferably nothing.”
He exhaled, trying to grasp onto to the self control he felt slipping through his fingers.
“What time does the party start?” He asks looking down at you and you swore you saw his pupils dilate with need.
“Eight.” You answer and he smiles. “But the driver’s here already,” you continue and his head drops.
“We have fifteen minutes-”
“For the drive,” you tell him, leaving him in the bathroom to grab your clutch. “We always have the way back.”
He scoffs light-heartedly, following after you. “Yeah, if you’re not gonna be fucking hammered, baby.”
“No promises,” you laugh, taking his hand, dragging him downstairs to the car that was awaiting your arrival.
The drive was quick and smooth and when you arrived the venue was bustling with people, but to your luck, void of any flashing cameras. Taking notes of this, Phil took his time as he got out from his side of the car, circling around to yours and opening the door for you. He offered his hand out for you to grab, which you gladly accepted, exiting the vehicle.
Your arms wrapped around his right as you walked into the club and past the line of people out front, where you were immediately spotted by your best friend, Mia.
“I’m so glad you could make it!” She exclaimed, hugging you.
“As if I’d miss it.”
You both laughed and she turned to Phil, greeting him. “Nice to see you again, Phil,” she smiled, giving him a brief hug as well.
He sighed playfully. “I wish I could say the same thing about you.”
She laughed. “Dream big, they say.” You talked for a few minutes before she took you farther back into the club.
You wish you could say you’d remember the night by the time you woke up in the morning, but with how you’d spent it you weren’t so sure. With the way you drinking it was like you had your sights set on blacking out. You were having the time of your life, evidently so, and alcohol was just conveniently within arms reach at all times. Eventually (and surprisingly), Phil was the one to cut you off to save you tomorrow’s embarrassment, but that didn’t stop you from dragging him to the dance floor. He had his fair share of drinks, so the option of denying you was already out the window.
You danced until your feet hurt and you danced some more. You knew you had to go back to the hotel when the pain was too much and you had no champagne to keep it down. But by then it was early morning and the party was on its last legs, people leaving as they pleased.
As you were saying your incoherent goodbyes to Mia, Phil sobered up the best he could, eyeing the paparazzi that appeared the entrance.
“You ready?” He asked, walking up to you, marveling at how you were still standing. You replied only with a nod, leaning into his frame as he accepted yours with open arms.
“There’s paparazzi out front, do you wanna go out the back?” You weighed your options—the best your melted mind could—before shaking your head.
“No, I told the driver to be out front, so either way we’d have to go out there anyway,” you answered, trying your best not to slur your words, but your attempt remained unsuccessful.
“Great. Okay, let’s go.” He waved goodbye to Mia, while planting his hand firmly around your waist, walking you out the club. The moment the doors opened, the two of you were met by blinding lights. Phil’s arm immediately went to block your eyes the best they could while guiding you through the sea of people.
“Fuck, it’s so bright,” you slurred, but only loud enough so that Phil could hear.
“I know, baby. Stay with me, we gotta get to the car, okay,” He told you before he checking his pockets for the sunglasses he kept for times like this. Once he found them they were yours, blocking out the lights obstructing your view ahead of you. The camera’s couldn’t catch it but your expression shifted to one of confusion.
“Wait who are you again?”
“Your boyfriend, honey.”
You laughed. “That’s funny, I already have one.”
“Yeah, yeah, whatever,” he mumbled to himself as he opened the car door for you, grateful it wasn’t to far. He got in after you, the car taking off right as soon as he was settled.
“So…do you have a girlfriend?”
He couldn’t help but smile. “Yeah but she doesn’t know how to drink.”
“That’s a shame,” you giggled, followed by a hiccup.
“Here, have some water,” Phil told you, handing you a bottle he grabbed from the side of the car door. You obliged blissfully as he reached for your feet, undoing your heels in his lap and you squealed as you felt his touch. It was so soft but so distinctly his.
“Where is she tonight, your girlfriend?” You lifted his sunglasses from your face, letting them sit in you hair as you talked.
“I don’t know, you tell me.”
You took one more sip of your water before capping it and putting it on the floor.
“I could if I knew. I could also tell you that I could show you a good time,” You moved your feet in his lap, dangerously close to the place you wanted then the most.
He shook his head with that same grin he wore all night. “You are so wasted right now, baby.”
The rest of the night was hazy and the morning arrived with a pounding in your skull. You woke up before Phil for the sole reason of sticking your head in the toilet to empty the contents of your stomach. Phil woke up quickly after, your empty spot on the bed subconsciously telling him you weren't there. He looked for where you could've been which didn't take too long once he heard you from the bathroom.
"I see last night caught up to you," He spoke softly as he sat down next to you on the floor, his voice low and raspy. He held your hair back as you retched, wincing a little.
"Good girl. Let it out, baby," he lulled as his free hand rubbed your back. He stayed like that, comforting you when heaved just a little too hard and he would continue to do so whether you wanted it or not. When he didn't hear you anymore he got up from the floor to go to the sink, filling up one of the many complimentary cups the hotel offered with water. He sat back down again and handed it to you.
"You okay?" He asks and you nod, drinking the water. Once you're done the two of you sit like that for a few moments, soaking in each other. Your head rests in the nape of his neck, your body in his lap, and his head on yours. The early morning is calm in Monte Carlo and so are you.
"We should get breakfast, yeah?"
"Yeah." You agree.
"Get you some coffee for that hangover," He suggested, mumbling into your hair. While sobriety had kicked in and the effects of alcohol were long gone, there was a part of you that always felt the way you were when you were drunk. He felt it too. Or maybe you were just in love.
having to share bed with ex-bsf! jude after a night out, but he’s cold and shivering in his sleep and you can’t help but hold him. jude being all soft and subby bc he doesn’t want you to let go. apologizing over and over and falling asleep after not being able to for many weeks ☹️
it was absolutely freezing outside. small drops of water, frozen along the windows and doors. the wind gushing, hearing the trees and bushes swing. but for some reason that hadn’t stop your friends to go out and go clubbing. you had came back early, refusing to walk or wait outside in the current weather conditions.
quickly taking a body shower and slipping into warm pjs. you laid in your side, observing the walls rigid imprints. your fingers played with your necklace, attempting to calm nerves that built up by thinking of jude.
you closed your eyes quickly when your bedroom opened. knowing it was jude, you heart skipped beats, feeling the empty space next to you, but also in your chest. you heard him place the keys down, the dresser door open as he probably got clothes.
jude followed you, to and from the club, not wanting a single thing to happen to you, to protect you and keep you safe. even if the two of you were mad at each other and not on speaking terms. “why does she have to be so stubborn? why can’t she for once listen to me?”
jude quickly slipped on a pair of plaid pjs and a black long sleeve. not saying a single word or mutter as he grabbed the blanket and slipped into bed. he could smell the similar scent you wore always. having to hold back from pulling you close to him so the two of you could talk and make things right.
he remained still, turning his head back to watch you sound asleep. he knew you were asleep by the small pout on your lips, and heavy breathing you let out. he sighed and shifted to stare at you. “if only you knew how much i love you darling. i’d do anything to fix us, for you to be mine…” jude said in small whisper.
by the movements and storm outside, the weather had gotten worse. you squinted your eyes not adjusted to the light, reading the clock at 2am. you looked over, being faced with jude’s back. he was cold, shivering and trembling, despite wearing hotter clothing than you.
as you debated whether to wake him or not, you heard him sleep soundly. not a single noise from outside disturbing his sleep. just the cold feeling. “why does he have to be so oblivious? why couldn’t he see the way he made you feel? was the damage already done?” you thought.
you propped yourself onto your shoulder, a hand reaching out to wake jude up. “jude? ba- i mean jude? wake up, your shaking like crazy. are you feeling okay?” you mentally slapped yourself, almost calling him “baby.” jude stirred awake, then became aware of his surroundings when he saw the soft look in your face.
“come here. let me warm you up. you could catch a cold or worse pneumonia,” you say, laying down and extending your left arm for jude to lay there. jude groaned at the warmth your body produced, as he laid ontop of you.
your legs tangled with his, jude’s body ontop of yours as he began to calm his trembling. jude placed his head in the crook of your neck, finally breathing the scent he had to been dying for. he placed a small kiss on there, sighing in relief as he felt you.
jude felt your hands slide along his back, the draws of your palms and fingertips to your nails raking along the clothes material. you covered him as much as possible with blankets not caring if later on you go hot.
“i’m sorry,” jude muffled, his hand pulling you closer to him. he kept repeating and apologized over and over again, letting himself finally put the two do you out of misery after. jude could feel the warmness in your hands, the slow and tiny kisses you spread along his forehead, small “it’s okay,” leaving your mouth. “i haven’t been able to sleep, y/n. i can’t sleep if you’re not next to me or if i haven’t heard anything from you.”
“jude. i forgive you, now please just go to sleep, we can talk more in the morning,” you said in a small voice, jude relaxing and letting him fall completely on you, the deep slumber coming back to him as he fought his sleep but ended up sleeping soundly.
“if only you knew how much i love you jude. and not in a friend way. in the way i see you as my future husband. why can’t you just listen to me?”
It was another regular day. Focusing on school work while trying to ignore the stares and whispering of the beings around me. I’ve been able to see these figures for as long as I can remember. I learned quickly to keep my mouth shut about them when I got in trouble for scaring not only my classmates when I was 6, but my parents as well. I also learned that these beings were ghosts, and I was somehow able to communicate with them.
A being that stood out seemed to come at will. They’d help me communicate with the ghosts when I couldn’t do it outright. The weird part being that they didn’t look like any of the other ghosts. It was a translucent misty blue being that was wearing a dark gray suit along with a white skull mask.
I tapped my pencil to my notebook to the tune that’s been playing in my head on repeat at the moment. My eyes drifted from the teacher to my old pet that laid next to my desk. There were some perks to my ability, and that was getting to see my pets that have passed away. It always felt bittersweet to see them still following me in their afterlife. If only I could still pet them…
My thoughts halted when the bell rang. I put my stuff in my bag as quickly as I could, ready to finally go home. I walked with my friends to the gate and we all shared our goodbyes, going our separate ways. Feeling hungry, I decided to stop at a cafe that was on my way home. Just a quick in and out, it’s not like I was going there to hang out. But entering the cafe, it held a nice atmosphere that made me want to just…rest there for a bit. Would it be weird for me to eat here alone?
I tensed as I noticed a group of students in the familiar uniform. Yeah never mind. I didn’t really know them, one of them was in my class and I knew they were friends. I mean I’ve heard rumors about them, how they’re delinquents, but everyone knew Koichi was a top notch student so I took all the information with a grain of salt.
After giving my order and paying, I took a seat next to the pick up counter. I stared out the window closest to me, waiting to hear my name called. Suddenly, that familiar blue mist appeared and I kept my gaze to where the window would be. I didn’t want people to think I was crazy. Something in my being told me that it’s name was GhostBuster, but I found the name too humorous to take seriously.
‘Someone wants to know if their child is okay,’ The figure signed in my line of sight. My grandma taught me sign language at a young age and I was fascinated with it. But no one else really knew how to speak in sign around me so I’d like to teach my friends small phrases if they were interested enough. GhostBuster, I suppose I will call the figure, also seemed to know sign, as they spoke to me with it first. It was a great way to communicate without seeming crazy since most of the signs could be done against a table.
‘Give me the information and I will look into them,’ I signed back against the table. Since I was able to see the dead, from a young age I was bombarded with pleas and wishes for me to pass on messages to their loved ones or to commit acts of revenge for them. I didn’t want to do either, as having a total stranger bring up their deceased loved one didn’t seem like a good decision. But if they wanted me to keep them updated about whatever, I didn’t mind going to the library and doing some research.
My name was called and I couldn’t help but feel eyes follow me. After I grabbed my bag of food, I ducked my head down and walked out.
After that day I couldn’t help but feel like I was being watched constantly, and this time it was by someone living. And I couldn’t help but notice that I’ve been seeing Koichi and his friends around more often. I ignored it though, I mean Koichi was in my class so I was obviously going to see that friend group a bit. But I noticed their eyes follow me and I didn’t like it one bit.
I always tried to keep to myself. A total wallflower if you will. I didn’t like standing out. I had my little group of friends I had at school and I stuck to my homework and hobbies after, well as long as I wasn’t working. It was easy to notice them, as no one really looks at me twice, and their stares made my skin prick with anxiety. Did I do something wrong? Do I look weird? Did I do something to upset them? Are they going to beat me up?
I shook the thought out of my head. Yeah I’ve heard rumors of them beating up kids without lifting a finger, but those stories were so far-fetched it was hard to believe. GhostBuster appeared once more during lunch, and those damned stares started to burn. I tried to look at them from the corner of my eye, but I could only catch one of them. Josuke, the most infamous one out of the group, but he wasn’t looking at me…he was looking at GhostBuster. The misty being disappeared as I tensed up. Could they see them? The being that’s been with me since forever? Was that what they were looking for everytime I passed by? Am I in danger now that they have seen it?
I shifted my focus back on my friends, trying to tune out the ringing in my ears. I’ve always thought I was alone, that I was the only one with strange abilities…did they have them too? Is that where all the crazy rumors have been coming from? It would make a bit more sense.
The bell ringing signaling the end of the day brought little relief. I just wanted to go home and destress from everything. Maybe play some video games or watch some t.v. I scurried out of class, head down and sticking to the walls. I didn’t even meet my friends, I was too on edge at the moment.
“Hey!” I glanced up, not sure if that was directed towards me. I froze when I saw Josuke, Koichi, and Okuyasu. I glanced behind me, just in case they were calling for someone else, but I knew that wasn’t the case due to their eyes boring holes into me.
“Wanna go to St. Gentleman’s with us?” Josuke asked, a nonchalant look on his face.
I felt confused, looking around once more just to double check before pointing to myself, “Me?”
“Yeah, who else?” Okuyasu asked with a condescending look (it wasn’t exactly mean, more confused than anything).
I shrugged, shoulders rising in tension, “I don’t know.” I was completely out of my element.
“You don’t have to if you don’t wanna,” Josuke shrugged, hands in his pockets.
I stared at the three for a second not sure what to say, but for some reason I found myself agreeing. Okuyasu and Josuke led while Koichi strayed behind, next to me.
“I hope we didn’t scare you,” The short boy spoke up. “We just haven’t had many good experiences with other stand users.”
My face scrunched in confusion and I turned to look at him, “Stand users?”
“Yeah,” Koichi nodded. “You know, that thing that was…talking to you during lunch.”
My gaze drifted towards the glassy eyes of the dead that turned to stare at our strange group in curiosity. I looked back at Koichi, “A lot of people try to talk to me. Well…people that others can’t see.”
It was Koichi’s turn to look at me confused, but before he could ask anything, we arrived at St. Gentlemens. We all put our orders in before sitting at a table for four. Koichi finally asked about these people but first had to catch the other two up in our previous conversation.
“Ghosts,” I clarified finally as they all stared at me intently. “I can see ghosts, can you see them too?” I glanced over Josuke’s shoulder, a woman in an old 50’s looking waitress uniform stood behind him, a tired smile worked its way on her face when we made eye contact.
“Nah,” Josuke shrugged, trying to seem chill, but he glanced over his shoulder and met my eyes shakily. “There’s one right behind him isn’t there?”
I smiled slightly, “She seems nice.” Suddenly, my supposed stand came out and listened as the woman whispered to it. It then approached me and signed what she said.
“What’s it doing?” Okuyasu asked. I forgot they were there. All their eyes fell onto my stand and I couldn’t help but feel flustered at what the old waitress was implying.
“Telling me what she said,” I replied, trying to casually glance out the window.
“What did she say?” Josuke joined, curiosity working into his expression.
I felt myself slightly fluster, looking towards the boy next to me with shining blue eyes and that unique pompadour. I opened my mouth but I hesitated, it was kinda embarrassing, “...she said…w-we’d make a cute couple.”
I can admit when someone was attractive, and Josuke fit that bill to a T, if the hordes of fangirls I had to pass in the hallways didn’t say anything. But I never talked to him before and I didn’t know him well enough to even think of him romantically.
Okuyasu let out an obnoxious laugh and Koichi even seemed like he couldn’t hold his chuckles in as Josuke burned bright red.
“What do your stands do?” I asked, wanting to change the subject. Okuyasu showed his off first, going on and on about its abilities and the many stories of how it saved him to mundane things it helped him with. Then Koichi showed his stand off. Well…all three of them that is. He also explained his own abilities, but kept it sweet and short.
Finally, Josuke had recovered and told me all about his stand. Showing it off and even demonstrating its powers on a cut I got earlier that morning from my pet. I stared in awe, the cut seemingly vanished in thin air.
After that, I seemed to have grown closer to the small group of friends. They invited me into group activities more often and both of our friend groups seemed to have joined together, at least for lunch.
Though I was growing close to one person in particular. Of course that person was going to be Josuke. It didn’t help that those words that the ghost said were ingrained in my head now. Josuke would hang out with me a bit more than the others and the first thought was ‘is he interested in me?’, but I would quickly shake the thought away. I was just looking into everything a bit too hard now. It didn’t help that when Josuke would pull me away to do something, the others would laugh behind us.
Not to mention that our conversations have been steering towards dating and romantic topics in general. I wish my heart didn’t beat faster when he watched me intently when I explained how I felt about relationships. How I would want to take it slow but I didn’t really have any experience so I wasn’t sure how all that stuff works anyways. My hopeless romantic side was showing greatly as I would make scenarios of what may happen that day, or what it would be like to hold him/be held.
He also told me how he was looking for the one, and didn’t really want any flings. I agreed with him and our values on romantic relationships seemed to be shared. Which only made me seem to fall further for him, as I didn’t expect someone to share the same beliefs. Yes you heard me correctly, I can’t deny it anymore, I’ve fully fallen for him. I wouldn’t say love, but I haven’t had a crush this strong before.
“Are you doing anything for Valentine's day?” My friend asked me as we stood outside before school.
“Nah,” I shook my head, shifting my bag on my shoulder to a comfier position.
“Really?” They asked skeptically. “Nothing with Josuke?”
I stared at them, feeling myself flustered, “What would I be doing with Josuke?”
They raised an eyebrow in disbelief, “Confessing to him.”
I tensed and my face felt like it was on fire, “No way. It’s not like he likes me like that anyways.”
Before my friend could retort, Josuke seemed to have entered the grounds. I couldn’t really see him, but the horde of fans told everything. I looked back to my friend and raised an eyebrow at the scenario.
“I also don’t want him to think of me as just another fan,” I huffed.
“I don’t think he’d group you with them,” My friend shrugged. “You two are close now, you’re on a level that his fans aren’t.”
I didn’t think about that. Yeah I was his friend, but I suppose that I was afraid that if I did confess, that his view of me would lower and he’d stop wanting to be friends. Which doesn’t sound like Josuke, I know, but the anxiety still lingered. But now I kinda did want to do something now. Not some grand gesture, just a small thing. Maybe make something small and a note. I could buy my friends some candy as well to use as a cover up in case he didn’t like me back…
The day came quicker than I liked. I trudged to school, my bag heavier than normal with the treats it carried. I started to second guess myself, I could always just eat it all myself. Not the candy I got for my friends…but the chocolate covered strawberries I made for Josuke. I could always just give some of the candy in my bag to him instead. Rip the note to shreds and throw it away.
No, I shook my head. I’ve gone this far, I can always fall onto my cover story just in case. I could pinpoint Josuke easily due to people swarming him like flies. Once again, that little voice of doubt flooded my mind. He’s already being bombarded, I don’t want to add to it.
“Oi, (y/n)!” A familiar voice shouted. “Over here!” I turned towards Okuyasu, Koichi waving at me from beside him. I joined the two surprised to not see Yukako or Koichi covered in gifts yet.
“Hey,” I greeted back as I approached them. “I got you guys something.”
Okuyasu’s eyes seemed to shine brightly as I rummaged through my bag and handed them each a little bag of candies. Josuke finally approached us and peered at us curiously, “What’cha guys got there?”
“Thank you so much (y/n)!” Okuyasu yelled, pulling me into a suffocating hug trying to hold back tears. “You’re the best!”
I patted his back and chuckled at his reaction, “I wanted to get you all something for being such great friends.”
Once Okuyasu let go, Josuke peaked his head into my view, “You got us all something?”
I drew in a deep breath, it was now or never I suppose. As the two others were preoccupied digging through their candy bags I quickly took out the small box with the note taped to the top. I thrust it into Josuke’s hands and brought my finger up to my lips in a ‘shh’ motion.
“Don’t tell the others but I got you something a little extra,” I joked lightly, hoping I came off as I normally do. I noticed he started to read the note and I quickly slapped my hand over it, drawing attention to us but I was too anxious to care. “Read that later!” I spluttered, feeling my heart race. I’d rather him read that when I’m far away and can’t see his reaction.
I glanced at my watch, noticing class was going to start soon. I waved goodbye to the group, not taking a second glance. If only I did, because I would’ve been met with Josuke staring at me in adoration, a rosy pink settling on his cheeks.
The day seemed to drag by and I tried to ignore that I totally confessed to Josuke that morning, even if it was indirectly in a note. It was the first question my friend asked and I begrudgingly told them about what I did. It was a nice distraction when Yukako showed up and poured a load of gifts on Koichi, giving him a short kiss on the cheek as a finale.
I felt a sort of jealousy setting in the pit of my stomach. That kind of relationship is what I longed for. I suppose not the stalking and kidnapping part…or the obsession… Okay so maybe their relationship wasn’t perfect at first, but they seemed to be working through it together.
I tried to ignore the glances Josuke would give me during lunch. He totally read the note. God, and he totally knew my intentions too. I shouldn’t have given it to him. I picked at my food as my friends swapped candies they liked. My best friend, knowing exactly what prediction I was in wiggled their eyebrows.
“Oh he totally got the message,” They grinned smugly. I groaned and hit my head on the table. “It’s not that bad. He can’t keep his eyes off of you even with all the people confessing to him.”
“Of course he’s going to be,” I frowned. “I’m his friend so he’s gonna feel different about rejecting me.”
“More like accepting you,” They nudged me.
I just rolled my eyes, not feeling hopeful. I just hope I didn’t ruin a great friendship. The second half of class went by faster as I focused on school work. Bell rang and I was the second student to turn their paper in to the teacher and leave. Once again I was going to run out and hopefully not run into the person I was dreading to see. But of course life had a way of squashing my plans.
A pink and baby blue figure stood in front of me, arms crossed and a stoic gaze rested on me. I quickly snapped my head back to a normal angle, I hate being able to see things that others can’t sometimes, I hope no one saw and thought I was weird. I slowly turned my head around as Josuke pushed past other students, charmingly excusing himself.
“(Y/n),” Josuke panted slightly, waving at me. “Hold up!”
I stood in place as he finally approached me, “It’s not like I had much of a choice.”
Josuke grinned sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck, “Well I know you have a tendency to run off and I wanted to make sure I caught up to you this time.”
I wanted to shrink, am I that predictable? Did he really notice that? Does that mean he pays attention to me? I shrugged, not sure why he wanted to catch me so badly after school…okay maybe he does have a reason but I’d rather forget I did anything.
“Is it cool if I walk you home?” Josuke asked breezily, a charming smile resting on his lips.
Damn him, damn him for stirring up all these fluttery, confusing, warm feelings. I hated it. I hated but loved it. I just wanted to throw the damn feelings away, not wanting to waste time on one-sided pining, but on the other hand I wanted to bask in the warmth these feelings brought. To indulge myself in something I wasn’t sure I was able to have.
“Sure,” I shrugged again. Just pretend like nothing has changed. That’ll fix everything…totally. Josuke’s grin somehow widened and he nodded.
I hated that white day was a month after Valentine’s day. Josuke was being much more affectionate towards me lately and his fans didn’t seem too happy. Not that I really cared about them but still, it was uncomfortable. I mean the gestures Josuke did could still be viewed as platonic. It was mostly hugs, resting his arm on my head/shoulder, and on the rareish occasion he’d hold my hand.
It would make my heart flutter every time. He didn’t bring up the gift I gave him, and I thought that’s what I wanted, but slowly I realized I wanted closure. I’d rather be straight out rejected than this weird little dance we shared of not speaking our feelings. It was giving me hope, something I didn’t like in a situation I felt so uncertain in.
It was a constant thought in the back of my mind, but it slowly faded as school and work once more took priority. I nearly forgot about the whole ordeal when white day came around. Josuke being more affectionate being a new norm that people just didn’t comment on anymore. And without my friends pointing it out, it became something I grew accustomed to. The flutter in my stomach never left, but I grew used to the feeling.
“Oh!” I said in shock as Okuyasu handed me a small teddy bear and a small box of chocolates. “Y-you didn’t have to get me this.”
Okuyasu grinned sheepishly, a small blush on his tanned cheeks, “I never got a gift on Valentines day, even just from a friend. So I wanted to return the favor!”
A giant smile spread across my face, “Well thank you, Oku. It means a lot.”
Koichi handed me a small baggie of candy, similar to the ones I gave him, “I know it’s not as much as the other two got you…”
My eyebrows furrowed as Josuke hadn't given me anything, but decided to brush it off, “It’s alright, I wasn’t expecting anything in return. Besides, I’d rather not get on Yukako’s bad side.” The three of us shivered at the thought.
The small (okay maybe it grew a lot) glimmer of hope I had that Josuke would reciprocate my confession slowly dissipated throughout the day. It felt like a knife in my heart when I realized I wasn’t the only one waiting for something from Josuke. I truly was just like his fans. I felt cold as I zoned out the teacher’s lecture. Once again, I just wanted to go home and avoid people. I really was predictable.
I packed my bags slowly as the bell rang. Everyone shuffling around me. This time, I’ll try to wait out Josuke if he was planning on catching me again. I made my way to the band room. My friends would hang out there for a bit after school so I thought I might as well join them.
“So, how’d it go?” My friend asked, a giant grin on their face.
I simply looked away with a frown, “How’d what go?”
Their grin fell, “Well Josuke’s an idiot. He can’t just lead you on and do nothing!” I shrugged, my other friends tuning into our conversation.
“Yeah, don’t get hung up on a guy that isn’t taking your feelings seriously,” My other friend chimed in.
My heart felt a little lighter at the support of my friends and I smiled bitterly, “Well, Okuyasu got me a cute teddy.” I pulled out the small plushie and the others pointed out how it wasn’t all bad today. I decided to try and focus on the good of today. I got a few things today, I got to hang out with my friends, I got a good score on that one test. Though that small pang was still there.
The door slid open and Josuke popped into the room, looking a bit frazzled. His eyes scanned the room and when they fell on me they lit up. But my friends weren’t really having it. Their stares held a bit of hostility, but they didn’t do anything more. I, myself, didn’t have the most pleased look.
“Hey,” He greeted, fully coming into the room, either ignoring the tense atmosphere or not even realizing there was one. “I was wondering where you were. I, uh, was wondering if you’d wanna come to Trattoria Trussardi with me.”
“That one Italian restaurant?” I asked, feeling my heart skip a beat. I hated how he had such an influence on my emotions. My friend elbowed my side and I glared at them. “I suppose I have nothing better to do,” I shrugged, suddenly feeling a bit shy.
“Great!” Josuke shouted, before flushing red and seeming to correct himself. “I-I mean cool, cool.”
His grin shined through still along with his fading blush. Taking a hand out of his pocket, he held it out towards me and I grabbed it without much thought. I grabbed my bag and glared at my friends as they snickered at us.
Somehow, with all these feelings bubbling inside of me, Josuke and I managed to slide into a comfortable conversation. He seemed a bit more bashful than usual, stuttering over himself. I showed him the teddy that Okuyasu gifted me when I told him about my day.
His face contorted into a frown, “So he has enough extra money to buy you something, but when I ask to borrow some he magically doesn’t have any.”
I couldn’t stop the laugh that bubbled up, teasing him I replied, “I guess I’m his favorite now.”
Josuke’s frown turned into a pout, “Is he your favorite?”
When I met those diamond like eyes of his, my heart stuttered. My instinct was to deny it, but maybe I should tease him a bit more for dragging this all out today.
“Maybe,” I replied, looking away to conceal the smile that was nearly splitting at the seams.
“(Y/nnnn),” Josuke drew out the last syllables of my name. He draped himself over my back, arms sliding over my shoulders and tucking his head in the crook of my neck. I felt myself tense, but forced my shoulders back down into a relaxed position so Josuke didn't pull back. I don’t want him to think I hate his affection, I’m just not used to such actions. “That note you wrote was for me, wasn’t it?” I could feel the smile form on his lips before he pulled away, standing taller than before with newfound confidence. Smug bastard.
I crossed my arms, not wanting to feed into his ego but not being to deny it either, “I think I might retract it.”
Before he could protest, we finally came into view. I went to open the door, but Josuke raced me and opened it for me instead. I gave him a weird look but didn’t say anything. Luckily, a table was open and Josuke once again rushed to pull out the seat for me. He seemed a lot more jumpy now, the situation finally sinking in.
I looked around the restaurant, not sure what to do. There wasn’t any menu, but I’ve only heard good things about this place. People being cured of aches, acne, fatigue, and so much more. It quickly grew into popularity, so I was extra surprised when we got in without a hitch.
“He’s a stand user,” Josuke spoke up, speaking about the owner of the place.
“Wow,” My eyes widened. “There’s more stand users here than I thought there would be.”
Josuke nodded, tapping his fingers on the table before changing the subject, “Thank you, for the note and the strawberries.”
“That feels like ages ago,” I waved him off with a forced laugh. “No need to thank me. You’re my friend, of course I was gonna get you something.”
Josuke seemed to falter, but I pretended like I didn’t notice, “Seemed like a bit more than what just a friend would say.”
I tapped against the table now. I wanted to talk about it, but now I wanted to go back to ignoring it. I glanced at Josuke, his eyes seeming to search for something in my expression. The waiter, I learned named Tonio, put two plates of food in front of the two of us. He smiled at us, wishing us a good meal before leaving. I turned my attention to my food. I wasn’t completely sure what it was, but it smelled good.
No wonder I always found myself single. I’m acting like a child. But ignoring my feelings has always been easier than bearing my heart. I shoved food in my mouth while I internally berated myself. Wow, this was really good food!
“I like holding you,” Josuke said quietly. I tensed as he referenced the stupidly cheesy part of my note where I admitted to enjoying affection. “Your hands seem to fit perfectly in mine, your smile takes my breath away, and everytime you laugh at one of my stupid jokes I feel like I’m on top of the world.” I felt my cheeks warm at his confession and I slowly raised my head up to meet his gaze. It was intense, fiery passion clear in his unwavering crystal gaze.
“You’re always so kind to us all, you give more than you take,” He continued, his eyes softening. At that moment, it felt like the world came to a halt. I suddenly felt seen, heard, cared about. Josuke took my hand into his own on top of the table, “I found myself falling for you faster than I could process. So when you handed me that small box and note, I was overwhelmed. I still have the note, I don’t think I could ever throw it away because I knew that you were bearing your heart to me, and trusted me with your feelings.”
I squeezed his hand lightly, not sure how to process this information. It was like a dream come true. I wasn’t sure if I could handle much more of his praises though, as I started feeling a bit light headed…or was that the food’s doing?
“A-ah, I’m rambling,” Josuke chuckled awkwardly, rubbing his neck sheepishly. “I guess what I’m trying to get at is that I like you too, (y/n). And it would make my world if you’d agree to be my partner.”
Suddenly, the world grew fuzzy and I squinted my eyes. I could barely make out Josuke’s blurry face before the world snapped back into focus, much clearer than before. I looked around in awe, finally meeting the piercing blue eyes that seemed to hold me in place.
“I would love to,” I agreed, smiling sheepishly.
That damn waitress is going to rub it in next time we go to St. Gentlemens.
I absolutely love the hype Bill’s getting and I’m here to contribute ꨄ︎ My request of today is; Remember the celeb crush thing I requested a while ago for Tom? Well my love for Bill is taking over and I’d love to see how you’d adapt it for him! To make it more interesting, I thought maybe the reader is already a fan and confidently goes out to talk to them even though the language barrier is present. Couple days later she goes and surprises them at a concert and makes this a little tradition til she and Bill realize they’ve developed feelings for each other but of course, work and distance is a huge obstacle
(Hello, lovely! Sorry this took so long and I didn't know if u wanted a oneshot but I was pretty lazy so here ya go! Enjoy!)
Bill Kaulitz x Celeb-Crush Reader
Tumblr media
He actually was pretty calm when he first noticed you
He had been one of your fans for a bit, seeing you in tabloids and online and had even gone to one of your concerts when him and the band weren't really well known
You were actually an example of his dream of being young but making it big
And as he grew up in fame, you never really left his mind because you also grew with your fandom and fame
Your style may not have been the same, your music either, but Bill still loved watching you on stage and on videos
He was almost starstruck when he actually saw you in the flesh when they were performing
YOU were at THEIR concert?!
By choice?!
He almost freaked out on stage but surprisingly hid it well
He just smiled, flashed a wink at you and somehow kept making eye contact
And you didn't look away and you fed into it from the crowd!
He tried so hard not to faint
When it was all over and he went backstage he was ranting to Tom, Gustav and Georg the whole time
"She looked at me! She looked at me- huh?! Who?! (Name)!"
Bill almost knocked Georg out right then and there
They then clicked in their mind he was actually talking about the one star he could rave about for-literally-ever
Bill was still a mega-fan, and the boys were dragged into it or ranted too
But what really almost killed Bill was after the concert and they were meeting with fans and signing stuff
He had just finished up taking a photo and signing a T-shirt and looked up to see you!
He took a moment and was just staring, mouth open and looking to Tom to see if he was hallucinationing
Tom laughed at his brother as Georg and Gustav watched as Bill almost dug his grave
You had to snap him out of it as you asked for a autograph
You almost out him in cardiac arrest because he rushed to find a marker
He snatched Tom's marker in the moment but he didn't give a shit
He was so giddy you asked him for his signature and was so happy
He tried to strike up a conversation but failed
Not to worry, you were absolutely glad to talk to him
Bill was so happy, and he and you had much in common and actually flirted surprisingly
Once he got over his shock, of course
You guys actually clicked
Turns out, you were a fan too, which shocked Bill
There was a language barrier, but Bill spoke a bit of English so he could at least speak to you
You knew a bit of German due to playing there either solo or in a band and you guys figured out a way to understand each other
As time went on, even after you guys parted ways, you somehow kept in touch
You would go to their concerts and he would be glad to go to yours
You guys were spotted by photographers leaving hotels, walking in the city on "dates" as they called it and many more
Fans went crazy and so did paparazzi, chasing you guys down almost all the time
You and Bill didn't mind, even enjoying it in photos and you guys got a few photoshoots together
You guys were a pretty popular celebrity ship but would never admit it, even with the looks and smiles you two would give over time
Bill always thought he was in a fever dream
Because no way his celebrity crush would actually like and be a fan of his, much less spend time with him
You and Bill developed a tradition of traveling to see each other
You mainly did yours in surprise, but sometimes it was difficult
You were on tour and so was he, so spending time and being together for a bit scarce
You did your best hut Tom and you spent less and less time together and it was actually quite sad
Until you surprise him by showing up backstage, which he was shocked and ecstatic to see you
It was a tradition, either of you would sneak off and find one another no matter where
But it got a bit complicated as fans doubled down on this ship and your friends always compared your "relationship" and labeled it more than a friendship
Maybe there were feelings, maybe there wasn't
But the red dust and smile on Bills face would choose the latter option
You’re afraid after seeing him fight for the first time - {Satoru Gojo}
jjk 0 arc
Tumblr media
You and Gojo had been dating for years and you knew briefly what he did for work but you never dig deep into it. Just from the looks of it your relationship seemed more casual than serious. You and him hadn’t talked for a few weeks so you just assumed he was busy or the relationship was over.
Today you stupidly left your phone at home so you didn’t see the evacuation notice that was sent out and you needed to go to a flower shop to grab flowers for your parents grave site. The shop was open oddly enough to the city being empty, assuming the owner was in the back you started looking around the shop trying to find the right assortments but a loud crash outside grabbed your attention.
There was a huge creature staring into the shop staring right at you, you couldn’t even scream. You stood there in shock until a hand grabbed you and pulled you to the back of the store. It was an older man and his wife and they both were staring at me like I was an idiot for being in the city in the first place.
“Are you crazy?? Did you not see the evacuation notice? Do you have a death wish?” Your head was spinning from the amount of questions he was asking, “I don’t have my phone with me. Why are you two of all people still here?” They looked at each other then back at you.
“It’s our families shop, we can’t just leave it to get destroyed by curses and sorcerers.” You nodded your head at the old woman accepting her answer because if I was in her shoes I’d do the same thing. The couple engaged in small talk to try and pass the time but another large crash grabbed all of your attention.
The curse that saw you was coming after what it saw earlier, the shop was being crushed and guilt was seeping into your body. So without further thought you stood up and ran out the shop, the curse noticed you and started following you. You ran inside of a random building and started running up the stairs to get to the roof, it didn’t matter where you went as long as the things got away from the shop.
Once on the roof you didn’t have time to process a loud sound coming from infront of you. It was Gojo, he destroyed the curse that was following you in a instant. “Your in my way.” He said using his curse magic.
Your eyes widened seeing him turn his attention back to the guy he was fighting, he punched him with such precision and power that it was a surprise how the man could even still stand up. And through the whole fight Gojo kept a calm composure like he wasn’t beating the living shit out of someone, wasn’t he supposed to be fighting the curses? NOT ACTUAL PEOPLE, was Gojo the bad guy?
Still standing there frozen Gojo finally noticed you and as he was calling out your name your legs moved on their own taking you back down the stairs and into the flood streets of the city. Your heart felt like it could break any second, who was this man that you were involved with?
All the curses noticed you and thankfully some other sorcerers came to take care of the curses. You were taken to safety but as you sat there getting treated by the doctor a familiar white haired man stood there next to you.
“Is she okay?” He asked her and she told him that you just needed rest, he thanked her and tried to grab your hand but you snatched them away out of fear. “Y/n, what’s wrong?” He asked bending down so that he was eye to eye with you. “If your job was to fight curses why did you beat that foreigner up. I saw you.” You said crossing one leg over another, he sighed then let out a small laugh.
You looked at him with an annoyed expression and he was taking your statement like a joke. “They were the ones who brought on the curses.” He said being serious once he noticed your facial expression. “Would you ever hurt me like that?” You asked leaning against the wall creating some distance between you two.
He leaned in grabbing each side of your face gently and placed a languid kiss on your lips. “Your my girlfriend why would I hurt you. My job is to protect you with my life.” You turned your face away giving him a side-eye when he said girlfriend.
“Were you scared?” He asked taking his hand and moving it down to grab yours, you flinched slightly but that did urge him to move his hand, “Yes, I’ve never seen that side of you. I didn’t recognize who I was looking at, and you took out that curse like it was nothing I mean how do yo-” he cut you off with another laugh and then wrapped his arms around your waist to pick you up and hoist you over his shoulder.
“Let’s take you home beautiful.” He said loudly and you hid your face in your hands as he physically carried you the whole way to his apartment not yours, his.
Rage built up
A/n: just a drabble I had thought of based off some bts pics for season 5. Basically reader is still upset over Eddie’s death and has a hard time keeping herself in check.
It had been the same for weeks since your encounter with vecna and Eddie’s death. You felt nothing but cold and numb. Your friends tried to help by trying to include you in activities and conversations but nothing worked. At the end of each day you would just curl up in bed and cry, your grades were slipping and every night you watched endlessly through your nightmares of Eddie’s death over and over again.
When you weren’t with your friends or in school, you’d find yourself at the Hawkins cemetery with a bucket of soap and water and scrub away at the graffiti that would always wind back on his headstone.
You knew you weren’t the only one grieving Eddie’s death though, Dustin was also upset but he hid it well. He was trying to carry on Eddie’s legacy with Hellfire Club. And while he would always remind you by saying “Eddie wouldn’t want you to mope around.” Or “No one deserved to know Eddie the way you or I did.” None of it made you feel better.
So you kept quiet. You endured the constant reassurances from your friends that everything would be fine and that he loved you. But it wasn’t enough to make the pain go away.
So here you were now, sitting with Nancy and Robin at a table closer towards the back of the lunch room. Nancy and Robin conversed with each other as more of your friends appeared. Mike, El, Dustin, Lucas, Will and Erica took their seats at your table.
The Hawkins cafeteria was loud as per usual. Students were seated at their normal tables and chatted or laughed.
You were staring off into space, trapped between memories of having lunch with Eddie in his van or out at the picnic table when El’s voice pulled you out.
“Y/N,” you turned to your left where she sat next to Mike. “Are you alright?”
You just nod and before you can respond with a simple “I’m okay”, a cocky yet familiar voice can be heard nearby.
“She’s still crying over her serial killer boyfriend,” Chance’s laughs along with Andy and two more basket ball jocks walking by your table.
“That’s enough, douchebag.” Robin says, glaring at the dark haired boy.
“Maybe I’d be sad too, if he wasn’t such a freak who murdered my friends.” Andy chimed back as he and the other boys made their way to the normal jock/cheerleader table.
You looked down to your lap where your hands are clenched into fists, fighting back tears. You had endured your fellow student’s bullying for the past weeks.
El’s hand wraps around your left hand in an attempt to hold it comfort but you jerk from your sister’s touch. Suddenly you feel rage, like a fire burning in your chest.
Standing up, you snatch Nancy’s lunch tray and empty it onto the table.
“Y/N, what the hell?” Nancy exclaims as you clutch the now empty tray in your hands and make your way towards the jocks.
You ignore your friends calling your name as you march towards Chance who has his head turned, laughing at one of Andy’s stupid jokes.
“Hey Chance,” you speak loud and clear. And when he turns to face you… WHAM! The cafeteria is quiet as the only sound that can be heard is plastic smashing his face. You let out shout and slam the tray against his face again. By the third time, you had caught his forehead with the edge and a small amount of blood can be seen.
Before you can land another blow, someone’s arms are wrapped around your waist pulling you back. But your vision is blurry from tears and you throw the tray blindly back in Chance’s direction. You continued to try and reach towards the boy in attempt to claw and punch him but you’re held back and you scream in frustration.
“Y/N stop!” Lucas is the one holding you back. You recognize his voice but still try to fight him off.
“She’s fucking crazy!” You hear one of the jocks yell.
Slowly you stop resisting knowing Lucas won’t let you keep beating the shit out of his ex- teammate. When he slowly loosens his grip, you find yourself standing above a freaked out Chance who is covering his face on the floor, terrified that you’ll continue with your rampage.
Your breathing is heavy as you’re tired from all the movement and tears fall freely. You look around to see all the other students are staring at you, mouths agape and eyes wide. You turn to see your friends still at their table but standing, worried gazes on you.
Before you can gather your thoughts on what you just did, you run. You ran through the cafeteria doors and into the hallway. The students who weren’t in the cafeteria to witness your wild behavior stare in your direction.
You push past them and make your way into the girls bathroom and find it empty. Looking in the mirror you only see someone you don’t recognize. Your hair which was tied into a ponytail is frizzy and out of place, your eyes are red and puffy and your face is red.
You slump down to your knees onto the dirty floor and let out a sob. You couldn’t recognize yourself anymore. Your emotions, your thoughts, even your actions. Your body continues to rack with sobs and heavy breathing, you don’t even hear the door opening.
You flinch when you feel a hand gently rest on your back. You look back to see Nancy, Robin and El kneeling next to you.
“Y/N,” Nancy’s voice is soft and comforting but you continue to cry. You try and let out a breath but it comes out like a choking sound. She doesn’t hesitate to wrap her arms around you in a hug. “Hey, it’s okay.
“I- I’m sorry.” You cry out. “I didn’t mean to hurt him-“
“He deserved it,” Robin states. “You don’t owe him an apology.”
“Y/N,” you lift your wet eyes to your adopted sister who reaches a hand to your shoulder. “It’s okay to let it out. I know how you feel.”
“No, no you don’t.” You sob. “They treated him like a monster. But he fucking saved them. And I- I loved him.”
Before El could respond, the bathroom door opens and the girls find themselves at the attention of principal Higgens’ secretary. She’s stares down at you with her glasses at the bridge of her nose and her hands on her hips.
“Hopper,” she addresses you coldly. “Higgins’ office. Now.”
———————————————————————————
You sat across from the principal himself as he lowered his gaze at you, which only made you shrink more into your chair and stare intensely at your hands.
The door opens and Higgins stands tall at the sight of your father entering the room. “Chief Hopper,” he gestures to the chair next to yours.
Jim takes a seat next to his eldest daughter and places a strong hand on her knee. “What happened?”
“According to our Hawkins Basketball team, everything was peaceful, students were enjoying their lunch period until…. That is your daughter Miss Y/N,” he points his skinny finger at you. “Assaulted Chance with a plastic lunch tray.”
Jim chuckled. “A plastic lunch tray, okay. And the damage?”
“Just a scratch on his forehead, but Chief, if I may, this still counts as an assault on another student. Now if his family chooses to press charges-“
“Oh I’m sure they won’t. Did Y/N tell you why she did it? I mean did you even bother to ask her why she felt the need to assault this kid?”
Higgins clears his throat before returning his attention to you. “Miss Hopper, why did you feel the need to violently assault one of your classmates?”
You finally move your eyes up to meet the principal’s dark ones and quietly spoke. “He was teasing me about Eddie Munson. He called him a serial killer.”
“Well, Miss Hopper-“
“Eddie wasn’t a serial killer! He didn’t harm Chrissy or Patrick or Fred or ANYONE! You HATED him. So you let all your students just bully him and you LET Jason Carver create some angry mob against him and even told them that he should be found DEAD.”
By then you were out of your seat, fists clenched to your sides and eyes brimming with tears again.
The principal just stood there brows raised and eyes glancing at the chief for some assistance.
Jim stands up and wraps an arm over his daughter’s shoulder. “Okay, look, Higgins. I don’t think this is going to happen again, alright? I’ll take her home, we’ll have a long discussion about what happened between her the kid and maybe I’ll even get her to apologize. Let’s just not start the whole pressing charges BS, the kid is gonna live to see another day.”
“Mr. Hopper, I NEED to make an example for the other students-“
“Expelling my daughter from school on her senior year won’t do any good. She’ll be back on Monday, attitude changed and hopefully her grades.”
And with that he led you out of the office and to the parking lot where his beat up chiefs jeep was parked.
After hopping in and sitting in silence for a few minutes, the talking finally begins.
“So a lunch tray, huh?”
You nod.
“Y/N what’s going on? I know you’re upset about Munson and what you said back there was true about the bullying and name calling, but assault? Now look, I can handle that kids parents if they do want press charges, but you need to talk to me more.
“I know I wasn’t around for a bit but I’m here now so just talk to me. You’re upset about Eddie? I can handle that. You feel like what? Depressed? I know all about that feeling, kid.”
You remained quiet until you didn’t. “Every night I have the same nightmare. Eddie dying in my arms, telling me that he loves me and there’s blood everywhere. And then I wake up and he’s gone. If I could just hold onto him just a bit longer or maybe if I could’ve saved him-“
“Y/N, I never thought that once Eddie was a bad kid. Sure, his old man was a scammer and a thief but Eddie was different. I know he just wanted to get out of this town and do whatever it is he wanted to do. But you know what really made me believed that he was a good guy?”
You look into Jim’s old eyes. “He died protecting you, my daughter. Even if the rest of this shithole of a town doesn’t know it, he helped save them.”
“Don’t shut your friends out, definitely not El because you need them, kid. Trust me. If you wanna cry, you cry and let them hug you, you want to hit something, I have old bat somewhere in the cabin and I’ll let you go to town on some trees. But just leave those ungrateful students alone. Let them think what they want. Because as soon as you graduate, you can go and do whatever you want, just like Eddie.”
You nod your head while wiping your tears. “Thanks dad.”
“Anytime, kid. But promise me, no more beating up basketball players!” Jim couldn’t help at laugh at the thought of his eighteen year old daughter beating up a jock.
“I’ll try,” and for the first time in forever, you smile. Not quite large but one that could pass as a smirk.
Million Dollar Man
Chapter 1
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
-
Sent.
There it was—my very first music contract signed.
My hands swiped back and forth between the 'sent' and 'draft' inboxes, confirming the reality of the moment. The air shuddered with anticipation as I blankly stared at my inbox, silently praying for a reply in the mere 1.4 seconds since I hit 'send.'
Fresh out of university last year, I found myself grappling with the realisation that I needed to figure out what to do with the rest of my life. Studying history had its limits—teaching or diving into more debt for a specialised master's degree were the conventional routes. However, nestled in the corners of my life was my little secret—I'd always been a songwriter. It wasn't something anyone really knew about until 3 months ago. After a drunken night in with my mum, I mustered the courage to share one of my demos with her. Her insistence that it was the greatest piece of music she'd ever heard, albeit the expected maternal praise, boosted my confidence. The morning after, armed with nothing more than my shitty Amazon mic and GarageBand, I sent three of my best demos to four different music labels across the country.
In the agonising months of waiting for a reply from any label, hope slipped through my fingers with each passing day. Just when despair threatened to engulf me, a glimmer of possibility emerged two weeks ago. Emails from two labels requesting in-person meetings to discuss my music further landed in my inbox, a lifeline amid the silence. Navigating a whirlwind 24-hour trip to London, I juggled the meetings, fueled by a mix of nerves and excitement. Having returned to my parents' home post-university, my part-time receptionist job became the financial anchor for one day moving out and starting my own new little life.
The journey from the North to London felt long, god it was so long, yet the promise of these potential signings kept me going. The meetings with both labels exceeded expectations, but Dirty Hit held a specific pull on me. They not only understood my musical aspirations but, to my disbelief, I met specifically with the label's founder, Jamie Oborne. A stark contrast to the very very lovely but somewhat underwhelming talent scout at the other label, Dirty Hit resonated with me on every level—the sound, the artists, the team. It felt like a perfect fit, a musical home where my compositions seamlessly blended with their illustrious discography.
The dream was a reality when Jamie extended the signing offer. Without hesitation, I accepted. The train ride back, though again, immensely long, was some of the best fun I’ve ever had. Amidst the clatter of the tracks, I scribbled down fragments for future songs, mapped out my imaginary world tour, envisioned albums, and even planned my Met Gala outfit. The euphoria of realising a lifelong dream had just basically become a reality in a matter of months hadn’t given me any time to process anything. But I was absolutely ready to potentially start something absolutely amazing. And here I was sitting in front of my MacBook, staring blankly at my Gmail.
The next few weeks were a whirlwind, a lot of online meetings, emailing and future discussing. Jamie liked my demos and wanted to get them produced and mixed professionally as well as teach me how to do it myself. I travelled back to London a few times in the weeks prior to practice and test with different producers the team thought I’d mix well with. My most successful session was my most recent, as Dirty Hit expensed a hotel for me for two nights in London to focus on my time in the studio. Ben Gleason, one of Dirty Hit’s leading producers, was someone who truly understood my music and shaped it in a way that I could genuinely hear one of my demos appearing on the radio, it was crazy. His vision and expertise were admirable to anyone. My demo, over the past 15 hours we worked on it, had turned into a real, titled potential single – ‘Million Dollar Man’.
Before I was sent to travel back home, we sent it off to the team to listen to and give feedback. It was a success, thank god. Waiting for the train to come in at Kings Cross, the sound of my ringtone filled my headphones. As I looked at my phone, I wasn’t fazed by the ‘unknown’ number and filled my boredom by answering it anyway.
‘Hello?’ I said in a slow voice, totally expecting some type of phone provider or accident scam, which usually came with answering unknown numbers.
“Hi, is this Camille?” A chirpy, womanly voice replied back to me.
“It is, yeah,” I replied nonchalantly. “Who is this, sorry?”
“Perfect! It’s Holly from Dirty Hit,” She replied. My breathing hitched, okay this phone call was important then and not just fun. This must be Jamie’s assistant, who I met a couple times through our Zoom meetings. “Thought I’d give you a little ring, so you can get my number saved and so I can update you on some things! We’ve just had a meeting today about what we want to do with you in the next few weeks and we went through everything you talked about, and we were thinking about potentially focusing you more on studio time right now, and we are wanting you to build on the songs you are in the process of and create one really really strong song that we can put out as your debut. What are your thoughts on that?”
“I think that’s a great idea! Ben and I were brainstorming a lot of songs that had great potential, so it would be cool to work with him again,” I practically begged through the phone. Ben is most definitely my favourite producer in the three I’d worked with in the short time. As much as I think Million Dollar Man is perfect, there are so many that might even end up better.
“Yeah, Ben is one of the best, especially for your sound,” she agrees, pausing for a second as she clicks what sounds like a pen and takes time to write something down. “We were thinking of sending you and a couple of our producers on a work getaway and maybe taking the time that you are there to write some songs and find your own dynamic with them, what do you think?”
“Of course, I’d love to!” I exclaim through the phone. Walking through the station to get to my soon departing train back home. Amazing, more studio work, more song writing - I have been dreaming of getting phone calls like this for years.
I have so many ideas in my head and written in my notebook just waiting to be explored with real professionals like Ben. I just prayed silently in my head that my quick praise of him would lead them sending him on the getaway along with whoever else they wanted to send with me - probably Joel or Vanna, the other two producers I had worked with in the time I’d been here. Joel’s sound was old school and he loved that classic drum in the background. Of course I didn’t hate it; he always made it sound gorgeous, but I loved the more earthy, tender sounds - songs that you could sit in the bath and vibe/pour your eyes out to. Vanna’s sound was cool, she worked a lot with the 1975, Dirty Hit’s biggest signing. Working with her was very fun, hearing about her stories with them and lots of other big musicians she has produced allowed me to have a little fangirl moment a couple times in the studio.
“Do you have an idea on which producers are coming along?” I continued.
“I’m just gonna give Ben a call and see when he’s available,” she replied. Yes! Thank god. “Thought I’d give you a call first before I called anyone else… but I know you haven’t met yet but Jamie thinks it would be a great opportunity to work with Matty aswell.”
“Matty… Healy, from the 1975?” I stutter. Surely not, I know he worked with Baebadoobee and a couple others on their latest work but surely he wouldn’t take the time to work with someone who’s just starting, would he? I wasn’t a huge 1975 fan, but I knew of their songs and Matty’s work and I admired them a lot. I’d kill to get to the level they are, but all in good time.
“Yeah, actually!” She laughed slightly through the phone. Woah. “He actually works a lot with our artists to establish their sound, you know what I mean? and he’s really talented, I promise. He was a part of our meeting today and he’s got a lot of good ideas that I think you’ll like, not to mention all the advice he can give you with starting out and he can talk you through his own experiences as well.”
“That’s amazing, I love his work!” I smile to myself, probably looking like an idiot in front of all these serious, fast walking Londoners. It seems so unbelievable that Matty Healy would take any time out of his busy schedule to work on my music, he must be bored. “If that’s something he is interested in, then I’d absolutely love to work together on something.”
“Okay, that’s perfect!” She replied. “No, he’s very interested, don’t worry. He went with Beabadoobee on a work getaway a few months ago, working on some new stuff and they made some gorgeous music - think he just wants the bragging rights again really. But, honestly he’s a star, you'll love him.”
As I was settling myself down on the busy train, Holly was writing down my best dates for the trip and ended the phone call pleasantly soon after. A Sunday to Wednesday a few weeks from now was the time they had written down for Matty’s availability and that worked with me! God knows where they were going to take us, but I couldn’t help but get excited. Me, Ben and sexy Matty Healy. I just hope he’s not a dick.
hey can u make a scenario where s/o is a simp for gojo like she says the most craziest shit like "ngl gojo is like water I can't live without him~~" and she says that infront of everyone and he literally doesn't even care like it normal at this point and everyone is just looking at him like he's crazy😭 (fluff and nsfw please!)
You've got it 🫡 it helps I am a simp for Satoru myself
Content: fluff, Satoru and S/O are equally whipped for each other, slightly NSFW, plus sized reader (I actually switch it up like every other fic if you actually take time to read my masterlist. This is both a dig at someone and me letting everyone else know what to expect), Satoru x reader, fem reader
Word count: 616
Tumblr media
“Listen, I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again,” you said and the sound of a few of your coworkers groans filled the room, “I need Satoru like I need the oxygen in my lungs.”
“Awwwww, always so sweet about me Princess,” he cooed from his desk without looking up from the stack of paperwork.
“Would you two please fucking get a room?” Akira groaned out.
“We have one. And it definitely is a fucking room,” you said as you stick your tongue out at her. You watched her face turn bright red at your comment.
“I’d high five you for that one but I’m across the room so, air five,” Satoru called out as he held up his hand. You held up yours and mimed giving him a high five.
You returned to your own paperwork for a few minutes before you let your eyes wander back to where they truly wanted to be. Resting on Satoru’s figure. His shoulders were hunched over his desk and he scribbled at the papers underneath his hands.
“I can literally see you staring at me,” he cooed out from his desk. His eyes might be covered but you had cursed energy which means he could still see you.
“Not my fault you’re walking sex incarnate,” you cooed back at him. Your coworkers all groaned much louder around you. This made you giggle and your eyes quickly flitted to each of them to see their expressions. You might not have six eyes like Satoru but you did have a vision curse. One that allows you to see everything around you from a fraction of a second of a glance into a room or at a person.
You tried once again to focus on your paperwork. You didn’t have much left and you knew once you two were done you’d get what you really wanted. All of Satoru’s undivided attention on you. You doubled down your efforts on making yourself focus on your work. Despite your best efforts your brain kept drifting off to Satoru. You rubbed your thick thighs together hoping a little bit of friction would help. You were wrong.
“Alright, well I’m all done over here,” Satoru called from his desk.
“I still have a few things left to do, my sexy sorcerer,” you responded. He chuckled as Akira and Masamichi, the only two left in here with you and Gojo, groaned again. You knew they were only partially bothered by your open simping for Gojo. Akira had mentioned to you at one point it was actually really nice to see someone who loved Satoru as much as you did.
After a few more minutes of intense focus, you pushed back from your desk. You stretched out your arms and subsequently your whole back. Satoru might have bought you a really nice desk chair recently but it didn’t help when you had shit posture. Your hands land on your thick thighs and you giggled as you watched the fat jiggle for a while. You used to hate how pudgy you were but Saturo had made you more comfortable when he worshipped you as much as you did him.
“All done?” he crooned in your ear and his arms came to rest on your tummy fat. You smiled as he nuzzled into your neck.
“All done,” you confirmed.
Tumblr media
“Good then let’s go home so I can repay all your worship from earlier,” he said as he kissed your neck. His hands grabbed at your tummy more. You used to hate it when he grabbed at your fat like this but now you love it. The way his fingers touched every inch of you with love and adoration.
Please do not reupload this anywhere. If anyone ever sees my original work uploaded anywhere please let me know. I only post here for now. One day I might actually move things over to my Ko-fi
“you were my mission all along, angel.”
“anytime you wanna give up and come home with me, you’re welcome.”
hyunjin’s words rang in your ears long after he said them. no matter what you did, you couldn’t escape the words running circles in your head. it felt like they followed you wherever you went, haunting the corners of your mind.
it had been a few days since he’d let his true agenda slip, along with an offer for you to “come home” with him. you’d never admit it, but you’d been thinking about it more than you’d ever expected.
you knew what it meant, leaving your own home up in heaven and fully rejecting everything you’d ever known. you couldn’t figure out why you were even thinking of leaving, it wasn’t that you were doing it for love, you didn’t even like hyunjin. and yet, there was something in the deep recesses of your brain that kept telling you to go for it, to just let go and give into what the pesky demon wanted.
all you could chalk it up to was just that you thought it a better fate to leave on your own than be sentenced down to hell if ever anyone discovered what you two did in the shadows.
but then there was the other side of your mind, the more rational side that knew you were crazy. if hyunjin was this insufferable now, what would he be like if you did give in and let him have his way? he’d hold it over your head forever. he’d be able to take the credit for dragging you down and the last thing you wanted to see was his smug smile staring back at you for the rest of eternity.
you knew the smart move was just to wait until your human passed, take their soul back to heaven and just forget everything you’d ever done with the thorn in your side demon.
it was exactly what you planned to do. it was what you had to do and you knew that, too. your human was getting old by this point, you only had to hold out a few years more, no problem.
no problem… right?
right.
hyunjin, on the other hand, was acting like he’d already dragged you down to hell and completed his mission. he sauntered around more than normal, smug little smile plastered on his face as he continued tormenting you as always.
“something on your mind, little angel?” he asked, an eyebrow quirked as he looked at you.
you snapped out of the daze you were in and glared over at him. “whatever i’m thinking is none of your business, demon. if i say another word, you’re liable to just drag me with you.”
hyunjin shrugged nonchalantly as he walked closer to you. “i can’t take you unless you choose to go.”
“and why would i choose to go with you, hmm? i’d never spend an eternity with you if i had a choice.” you held his gaze as he halted his steps in front of you.
“but that’s just it, isn’t it? one little word to your higher ups and your choice goes poof! you know that as well as i.” there was that stupid smile again, as if he knew he had you in his little trap before you’d even said anything.
you shook your head, slowly taking a step back from him. you wouldn’t give him what he wanted, you couldn’t. “i’ll never give into you,” you shot back at him, your eyes burning into his.
hyunjin stepped forward, easily closing the distance between you, small smile growing into something utterly devilish. “we’ll see about that, angel.”
and that was how it continued.
•••
you didn’t know why you’d done it. maybe his words really had scared you that much. either way, there was no going back now. it wasn’t like you had much of a choice anyway, you’d never been good at just denying him and leaving.
your human had finally died. and barely, just barely it seemed, you scraped the soul away from hyunjin and brought it safely up to heaven. in the back of your mind you knew he let you take it, he had his sights set on a mission far above a simple human soul.
and now, here you were, readying yourself to leave heaven, leave your home.
truthfully, you had no obvious reason for leaving, but something inside your brain nagged at you, reminding you of the mischievous gleam in hyunjin’s eyes the last time you saw him. he was up to no good, he never was, and you didn’t want to stay to find out what he’d do with the heavy blackmail he had against you. you hadn’t gone with him and you knew that was a blow to his more than massive ego.
he’d stop at nothing to make sure his mission was completed and so, before he could get you damned for all eternity, you would do it yourself. leaving heaven and turning to the other side was the most damning offense one could commit.
you didn’t feel like you had another choice, it was only a matter of time before your demon counterpart enacted revenge for his failed mission. you’d be damning yourself but anything was better than seeing the smug demon get his way and condemn you himself.
you stopped at the edge of the heavenly threshold, white light still surrounding you, and looked down, down, all the way to the very pits of hell below you. you turned to look back at the gates of your beautiful home once more and felt a single tear roll down your cheek.
taking a deep breath, you closed your eyes, and jumped.
•••
“angel? angel, what the fuck are you doing?”
the hushed, hurried words were the first thing you heard as your consciousness started coming back to you. the second thing you noticed was the strong arms that kept you held securely.
that voice though, you’d know it anywhere. it was public nemesis number one and the sole cause of you being here, hyunjin. as soon as you recognized that voice, you tried squirming away, rolling out of the arms that had a hold on you.
“oh no, angel, i have you here, i’m not letting you go now,” the voice said, a sharp chuckle following. you opened your eyes, slowly blinking as the demon’s face focused above you. he seemed focused, perfect eyebrows knitted together as he held you in his arms. you vaguely registered the feeling of walking, a door being shoved open and being set down on a soft surface. a bed?
“wh-what are you doing?” your words were soft and unsure as you kept your eyes trained on the demon that had taken you in. he was walking around the room you were in casually, pulling a blanket out of the small dresser in the corner. hyunjin came back to where you were laid on the bed and spread the blanket across your form.
“i’m just making sure you didn’t get scooped up by any other… lowlifes that stay around here. they’re not all as nice as i am, you know.” he raised an eyebrow, directing a pointed stare your way. “the real question is, what are you doing down here? that was quite a trip and fall you had.”
at his remark you scoffed and looked away from him. “i didn’t fall, i jumped.”
that seemed to pique his interest more, both eyebrows now raised in surprise. “oh, really? and why would you want to do that, hmm?”
“because i didn’t- i don’t trust you,” you sneered back at him. “you didn’t complete your little mission, there’s no way you expect me to believe that you’d play fairly after that. i just figured damning myself was better than you doing it for me.”
hyunjin shrugged, as if contemplating your words. “true, i thought about it, but i figured you’d finish my work for me. and here you are, so it would seem i was right.”
“i did it on my own,” you shot back hotly, “i’m not here because you lured me down here with your smooth words and pretty face.”
“so you think i’m pretty now, do you?” the smug smirk that painted his face had you regretting your words instantly.
you gave him a once over and scoffed once more, rolling your eyes and looking away from him. “you’re a demon, it’s your literal purpose to be pretty and tempt people to follow you down to their infinite demise here.”
“oh, you mean just like you did? it’s okay, angel, it’s not always easy to admit defeat like this.” hyunjin’s sarcastically sympathetic tone mocked you as the smirk on his lips grew ever wider.
you started clambering up from the bed you were in, ready to ring the infuriating demon’s neck. “you little-”
“you’re stuck here now, unless i can find a way to get you sent back. you’d better pray to whomever you have up there that they’ll take you again. if not, i’ll make sure we have lots of fun down here together, angel.” he sent a cheeky wink your way before turning to leave the room, perfect hips swaying slightly as he walked.
“feel free to just make yourself at home, little angel, it’s going to be a long night,” he called over his shoulder as the door swung shut behind him.
taking a breath, you fell back on the bed behind you. you’d collect your thoughts and figure out what to do next. one thing was certain, you couldn’t and wouldn’t stay here any longer than completely necessary.
you were dumbfounded at the thought of the miserable demon actually trying to help you and knew not to trust any seeming kindness that came from him. he was incapable of true kindness and love, a care for others; everything he did came with an angle that was set only to benefit himself. you could only trust yourself in this situation, knowing full well that as soon as hyunjin tired of playing with you and your fate, he’d cast you aside like yesterday’s souls.
•••
you weren’t sure how long you’d been in hell.
it was called hell for a reason, a special place of torture for souls that didn’t get taken to heaven. it wasn’t as people on earth thought, there were no pits of fire and brimstone. instead, the souls were brought to places where their most atrocious sins were committed and made to live those sins unending, forcing them into insanity for all eternity. the demons each had their own roles in tormenting the humans’ souls, whether it be carrying out the torture or luring the souls down to their punishment.
in the time you’d been in hell, you learned more about the place than you’d ever wanted to. as an angel, you’d never made it a point to learn what’s exactly went on deep into enemy territory, but now you were stuck with no option but to learn.
it had been your choice to come here, yes, but you couldn’t help but wonder what would’ve happened if you had stayed in heaven. maybe hyunjin never would’ve come for his revenge, maybe you would’ve been damned either way. but you’d made your decision, you’d never know the answers to the what if’s that plagued you at night.
speaking of the pesky demon, he’d been surprisingly… civil over the time you’d been trapped in that spare room. he’d bring you food, even though you didn’t really need it. you figured it was just so he could come and gloat, enjoying the sight of seeing you stuck with him until further notice. he’d said he was working on a way to get you sent back to heaven, although you doubted any truthfulness in his words as you changed more by the hour to look increasingly like the creatures that inhabited these depths of the universe.
hyunjin had also mentioned that it wasn’t safe for you to leave until either he got you back into heaven or until your body finished changing and adapting to the new climate.
“i don’t particularly care, but i figure if it’s truly my fault you came down here, i should give you a chance before throwing you to the wolves,” he’d said, a gleam making its way into his eyes. “plus, i enjoy being the only one who gets to ruin you like that.”
you hated how you were unable to help the flush that covered your face at his words. “like i’d ever let you defile me like that again after what you’ve done,” you spat back at him.
at your words he just snickered to himself and shook his head. “we’ll see about that, angel.”
despite his taunting words, he continued being civil with you, unnerving you with how well-behaved he acted in your presence. it felt like he was trying to lull you into a false sense of security before ripping the ground out from under you. he’d come into your room and explain more things about the goings on in this hellish realm and watch in interest as the once pure white wings you could summon turned to dusty grey before fading completely to black.
you had figured out after some time that you weren’t going to be able to go home, back to heaven, and you supposed hell was now “home.” there was no way they’d take you again with how you’d changed during your time in hell. you decided that as stupid of a move as it might have been to leave that ultimately it was for the best, a choice you wouldn’t try and fight with yourself over anymore. what’s done was done.
“i don’t know if you’ve even tried getting me out of here, but i’d like you to stop,” you told hyunjin the next time he came into the room he’d loaned you. “given” was too nice of a word for a being like him, a being like yourself, now, too. “it was my decision to come here and i don’t want to be sent back.”
the demon’s eyebrows raised as he stared at you in surprise. “oh really, why the sudden change of heart? i’ve finally won you over into deciding that hell is the place for you?”
you rolled your eyes, gaze incredulous as you shook your head at him. “in your delusional dreams, demon. what, do you really want me that badly?”
to that, he shrugged, his face impassive. “i’ve never made any secret of it, have i?”
you just blinked at him, unsure what to make of his words. you knew you shouldn’t dwell on it, it was only another trick designed to make you stumble and believe demons could feel or be anything other that the heartless, cruel tricksters they were at their cores.
“this is just another one of your lies, isn’t it? you got me down here, you got what you want, can’t you stop torturing me?” you looked at him now, shaking your head again in disbelief.
the demon in front of you scoffed, crossing his arms over his chest. “why would it be a lie?”
“because all you do is lie!” you spat at him. “all demons do is lie and ruin things and destroy what’s good, just look at what you did to me!”
at that, you could see hyunjin visibly recoil, something akin to hurt making its way onto his face. it was just a flash before it faded, the demon’s face setting itself back to the impassive shield it had been before. he rolled his eyes at you, as if he was dealing with nothing more than a petulant child.
“that’s what you really what you believe then? fine by me.” hyunjin turned on his heel and strode toward the door. but not without first calling back over his shoulder, “but don’t blame your predicament down here on me. you were the one that jumped, remember?”
the door slammed behind him, shutting you in once again. you had about had enough of the stupid demon’s games. taking you in, being nice to you, not trying to get in your pants the whole time, and now telling you he had wanted you the whole time. you knew he had some angle, but you just couldn’t figure out what it was.
you had to believe that you were ultimately just a plaything for the crafty being, the connotations of his words as anything else were too much for you to think about. demons didn’t have hearts, they couldn’t feel, despite their previous existence as angels. you knew that and you had to keep remembering it, as the way he’d been treating you since your fall was almost enough to make you think otherwise.
you couldn’t, you wouldn’t open yourself up to the possibility of hyunjin’s antics being anything else other than a game designed to completely break you and make you just like him.
and yet, just yet, you couldn’t deny the tiny nagging inside of you that nearly wished his words were true. he was beautiful, you wouldn’t argue that, and you had to hand it to him that he had done a good job of making it seem like he really didn’t mind you around. that was what demons were best at, being sweet and inviting and lying through their teeth to get their prey to fall right into their traps.
you couldn’t fathom what more he’d want from you, why he was still playing with you after all this time, but you were determined to find out why, once and for all, the next time you saw him.
•••
it appeared to you some time later that if you wanted answers, you would have to be the one to get them yourself. you had apparently upset hyunjin as he hadn’t come into your room for the past couple days and you were starting to get bored waiting for him. so, you plucked up the remnants of your courage and shoved yourself off the bed you’d been sitting on, making your way to the door keeping you in.
you pushed the door open, pleasantly surprised at the fact that it wasn’t locked this whole time. you found yourself in a hallway, looking to your right found a dead end, but to your left seemed to be another room. you wandered down toward the short hallway to the other room, finding yourself in a more spacious living room. it wasn’t big, but it was a modest size for a demon of hyunjin’s repute.
there weren’t any windows, but instead paintings of the world above scattered the walls of the room. off to one side of the room sat a chair with what looked like an easel, paints in a perfectly organized line, and a half finished painting of a flower vase sitting atop the easel. you had thought him one to appreciate art, much less create it; but once more, the idea of the demon you’d built up in your head was shaken. it made him seem less like the dark creature he was and almost more like the being of light he had been before.
you looked to the other side of the room and saw a small couch, with a figure crumpled up under a blanket. it was hyunjin, no doubt, but… why was he out here? this was his place, surely if he wanted to sleep he could-… and suddenly, it dawned on you. he did have a room to sleep in, but he had given that up when he took you in.
now, you were thoroughly confused. had he really been telling you the truth in saying he wanted you down here, with him?
“if you want to stare at me that much, you could’ve just asked, angel,” the figure under the blanket said, his voice gravelly from sleep. hyunjin peeked his face out from where it had been smushed against his arm and the blanket.
“i- i thought demons didn’t need to sleep,” you said back, purposefully ignoring his earlier comment.
hyunjin blinked a couple times before rubbing the sleep from his eyes. “we don’t, but who am i to deny myself the comfort of a good nap sometimes?”
you couldn’t help the next words that you blurted out. “you gave up your room and bed for me. why?”
“i told you, you were my mission, angel.” his pretty face turned blank as he spoke and lifted himself up onto his elbows to look at you better. “not that you’d believe anything i say, you’ve made that very clear. but it’s the truth, you fascinate me and i wanted you here with me. i was given permission by my superiors to drag you down if you didn’t want to come after our mission was over. but ultimately, i wanted the choice to be yours, what use would it be to have you down here against your will and hating me for the rest of eternity?”
hyunjin slowly removed the blanket that covered him and stood up, beginning to pace the floor in front of the couch. his expression stayed perfectly blank, seeming intent on not giving away any of his true feelings behind the matter.
“true, you may still hate me for the rest of eternity,” he continued, clasping his hands behind his back, “but at least i know that for once my hands are clean in the matter of bringing you here. you came of your own volition and while i may have… helped persuade you, the decision was still yours in the end.”
you stood in your spot, quietly listening as he paced while unraveling his whole plan with you. “but… why not say anything? what do you actually want with me that you’d go through all that to maybe end up with me here?“
hyunjin stopped pacing for a moment and shot you a pointed stare, one eyebrow raised. “although i do have demons down here to consort with if i wish, i have always enjoyed a challenge. and you, angel, were the perfect challenge for me.”
the demon resumed his leisurely strides across the floor, shrugging his shoulders as he continued his explanation. “sometimes risks are worth taking, clearly you know that as well as i since you’re here. and i found you a worthy challenge and risk to take. the way i saw it, either i end up with someone to share with in my mischief or i don’t, and i have a few laughs and good fucks along the way. the choice is still yours, angel.”
the entire time you’d been listening to him, you were mulling over the choices presented to you. obviously, hell was your home now and you were never getting back into heaven; all the thoughts you’d been thinking of hyunjin and demons as a whole now applied to you.
on one hand, you could just leave him and hope to the powers that be that you wouldn’t run into him again in your long eternity down here. or, the decision that was starting to look better by the moment; you could stay, he’d made it apparent that he wanted you to, for whatever reason. being transformed into a demon now as you were meant you wouldn’t have to follow the angelic code you’d held to before, you were free to be and do what you want.
you could stay, you would stay here and you’d have fun with him right back. if he could torment you and make you doubt everything you’d known for years during your mission on earth, it was only fair that you do the same back to him, right?
“fine, you want me so bad? i’ll stay. but i’m on your level now, hyunjin, so don’t expect me to play nice.” you crossed your arms over your chest, staring him down from your spot halfway across the room.
the fiery gleam in his eyes that you’d grown to… appreciate was back the moment the words left your mouth. in less than half a second, he’d crossed the space between you, wrapping you up in his arms.
“how far you’ve fallen, my little angel,” his voice dropped an octave, his hold tightening around you, effectively trapping you against him. his face was right above yours, if either of you moved even an inch, your lips would be on his.
“i already told you, i didn’t fall, i jumped,” you whispered, ever defiant.
hyunjin’s gaze turned downright hungry as he gazed at you, lips curling over his teeth into a perfectly devilish smile. “that’s what i like to hear.”
he leaned down, closing the minute distance between you and pushed your lips together in a searing kiss.
you kissed him back fervently, your eyes falling shut as you pressed closer against his body. you brought your arms up to encircle the back of his neck, giving into the need for him you’ve been trying to bury since the very first time this tussle together happened. there was nothing stopping you from holding back now and as hyunjin had pointed out earlier, who were you to deny yourself what you wanted?
“fuck,” he breathed against your lips, “i missed this, angel.”
you chuckled, pulling back to attach your lips to his jaw, steadily working your way down his neck. “don’t tell me you didn’t have your pick of any other being you wanted.”
hyunjin let his head loll back, giving you more access to suck pretty little marks on his skin. “i never said i didn’t, but none of them were you.”
you huffed out a breath at his words, leaving a particularly harsh nip at his neck, reveling in the short hiss that left the demon’s mouth. “you’re stuck with me now, hope you made the right decision.”
“i know i did.” hyunjin threaded his fingers through the hair at the back of your head and brought your face up to his, slotting your lips together once again. he pulled away just enough for you to see the ever-present smirk on his face. “and now i’m gonna show you just how perfect of a decision it was.”
he easily scooped you up in his strong arms, you immediately wrapping arms and legs around him in response. you set back to work on creating a myriad of hickeys on his neck as he takes you back to his room, the colors blooming beautifully with each kiss and bite you leave on his perfect skin.
as soon as you’re back in hyunjin’s room, he tossed you down on the bed and stood over you for a moment, looking ready to ravish you completely. unsure how long it had been since both of you last fucked, you were ready to do whatever he wanted as long as it ended with him inside you, pounding you into the mattress.
your legs fell open, inviting him to do as he pleased. a smile made its way to the demon’s face as he took in your splayed out form before him.
“my perfect little angel,” he breathed out, leaning over you and caging you in with his arms, “i’m going to absolutely ruin you.”
you just wrapped your arms around his neck, tugging him down to kiss you again. hyunjin kissed you back like it was the last time he’d be able to, pressing his lithe body against yours. you felt his teeth nipping at your bottom lip and you couldn’t help the soft squeak you let out into the kiss. he took the opportunity to slide his tongue between your lips, claiming your mouth with his own.
you moaned into his mouth, pushing your body into his as your hands ran across his shoulders and down his arms. in return, the demon above you ground his hips on yours, pulling away from your lips moments later in favor of mouthing down your neck. he sucked and nibbled his way across your neck and to your collarbone, skin blooming with new marks of your own.
“no one else gets to mark up my pretty angel like this but me, right?” his words were hot on your skin and you could feel his smirk when you nodded quickly.
“only- only you,” your voice came out a stilted whimper as hyunjin nipped at a sensitive spot on your neck. “you’re stuck with me now, ‘m gonna stay around and annoy you all the time.”
hyunjin chuckled lowly, running his tongue over the latest mark he’d made. “that’s right, gonna make you just as wicked as i am, pretty one.”
you shivered slightly, feeling the demon’s fingers dance over your body, moving toward the hem of the shirt you wore. you arched your back as hyunjin made quick work of pulling your shirt over your head, discarding it and your undergarments beside you on the bed.
hyunjin looked down at you, his gaze nearly reverent as he took in the sight of your form in front of him. he slid his hands up your sides to knead at the flesh of your chest, eyes transfixed on how your tits moved, nipples pebbling up under his fingertips.
after a moment, he leaned down, capturing one nipping his mouth and swirling his tongue around the bud. your head rolled back at the feeling, letting out a loud moan at the sensation. your hands found their way to his hair and you tugged on the strands, making hyunjin groan into your skin.
“more, hyunjin, please,” you pleaded, lightly pulling on his hair again.
hyunjin looked at you, pulling his mouth off your tit with an obscene pop. “oh, you want more, do you? i’ll give you more, don’t worry, just wanna get a taste of you first, angel.”
he made short work of removing his own shirt before your skirt and underwear, adding them to the steadily growing pile of clothes next to you. the demon kissed down your body, leaving tiny bite marks as he went, moving closer to where you needed him most. he spread your legs open, holding them still as he mouthed along the sensitive skin of your inner thighs.
you keened as he finally attached his lips to your core, tongue eagerly flicking over your clit. your hands immediately drifted back to his hair, fingers tangling in the soft strands as you tried to pull him closer to you.
“be patient, angel,” came the soft murmur against you, “i’ll give you what you want soon enough.”
you whined softly but it quickly turned into a high pitched moan as you suddenly felt two fingers push into you along with his tongue that stayed playing with your clit. he smirked at your reaction, sucking lightly at the bud to see what that would get him. another loud moan tore itself from your lips and you tried to close your legs on his head, one of hyunjin’s strong hands preventing you from doing so.
“remember, be patient for me, my angel. good things come to those who wait,” you felt his words more than heard them, his mouth barely leaving you as he spoke. you simply nodded, unable to help yourself from pulling lightly at his hair again.
hyunjin kept lapping at you, his fingers languidly making their way in and out of you, curling this way and that, already bringing you close to your release. he’d let out soft groans every time you tugged on his hair, the vibrations from his voice adding to the pleasure you felt. you neared closer to your climax, your walls starting to pulse as hyunjin worked you with his fingers and tongue.
just when you were about to reach your high, everything was suddenly gone, leaving you wanting. you couldn’t help the pitiful whine that left your lips as you glared at the smirking demon.
“you truly are evil, you know that?” your eyes narrowed at him, displeasure evident on your face.
hyunjin just chuckled and shrugged nonchalantly. “so you’ve said a time or two hundred. and yet, you’re still here, so you obviously enjoy how evil i am.”
you glared at him harder, trying to swat at where he stood between your legs with your foot, narrowly missing his hip when he jumped out of the way. he shook his head at you, tutting softly.
“my naughty angel,” he said with a raised eyebrow. “and here i thought you wanted to be good.”
you rolled your eyes petulantly before fixing him with a challenging stare. “what can i say? i guess you’ve just rubbed off on me.”
at that, the demon let a devilish little smile creep onto his face once more. “and how glad i am for that. now be good for me and maybe i’ll let you cum tonight.”
hyunjin shrugged his pants and underwear off, cock slapping up against his lower stomach, just as pretty and proud as the demon it belonged to. you’d be lying if you said it had no effect on you, your mouth watered and you vowed to yourself to absolutely devour it the next time the opportunity presented itself.
“like something you see?” you heard the smug tone dripping from the demon’s words. you could see the fire igniting in his eyes as he stepped between your legs again, unhurriedly tugging at his length. he lifted one knee on top of the bed, angling his hips toward yours and ensuring that with every tug the head of his cock would tap against your dripping entrance.
“please- please just fuck me already, hyunjin,” your plea came out as mostly a frustrated whimper.
that only stroked his ego more but even so, he crawled on top of you once again. “since you asked so nicely, who am i to deny my favorite angel?“
hyunjin rubbed his cock between your folds for another moment before lining up with you and pushing in slowly. your head rolled back when he finally bottomed out, mouth falling open as you moaned out loud.
“you feel so good, always so tight for me, angel,” he said, his voice mostly a moan at the feeling of your warmth around him. the demon above you held onto your hips, keeping you still as he started thrusting in and out of you at a leisurely pace.
your hands grasped at him, finding purchase on his shoulders as your nails dug into his skin. hyunjin tugged you closer, starting to pick up his pace and pulling your hips to meet his powerful thrusts. he let out a low groan at the slight sting of your fingernails scraping against his shoulders, leaving trails down his toned arms.
hyunjin let go of your hips a moment later to lean over you again, propping himself up on his forearms. burying his face in your neck, he left more tiny pecks and nips on the junction between your neck and shoulder, causing you to moan louder than you had before.
your senses were overwhelmed at the feeling of hyunjin everywhere, all over you, the steady drag of his cock against your walls. as he picked up the pace of his hips, you were slowly reduced to nothing but high pitched moans and whimpers, your body pliant under his hold.
“h-hyunjin, please…” you moaned out, holding onto his shoulders tighter and bucking your hips up slightly to meet his.
“please, what, angel?” he asked, his voice taunting. he continued fucking into you, each thrust deep and more intense than the last. he smiled a little at your fucked out form, how you struggled to form the words to answer him back as your high drew closer.
“want- i need to cum, pl-please!” you cried, your back arching up as hyunjin kept pushing you toward your orgasm.
“come on then, cum for me, my pretty angel,” hyunjin whispered into your ear, his hips rocking against yours. his hand snaked down to rub circles on your clit, giving you the last nudge over the edge over the edge of the cliff that had you plunging into your climax.
with a high whine, your release washed over you and you bucked your hips into hyunjin’s, walls spasming around his cock. your release spurred his, cock pulsing inside you as he filled you up to the brim.
he let out a loud groan, rocking his hips into yours as he rode out both your highs. he stilled after a second, slowly pulling out of you and wincing a little at the slight overstimulation.
hyunjin lightly ran a hand down one of your thighs before turning to around to the dresser across the room and taking out a small towel. the demon brushed his dark hair away from his face and made his way back to you, gently cleaning you up and taking care to wipe down your sensitive thighs.
leaning down, he kissed you once again, pushing your lips together in a short kiss. he pulled away a second later, slumping against you lightly as he tucks his head in your neck.
“i missed this. i- i missed you,” he said, his voice soft. hyunjin wrapped his arms around you, gently pulling you closer to him. you curled into his hold in return, no longer trying to ignore the warm feeling that bubbled up in your chest at his words.
“not that i ever planned on admitting it, but i might’ve missed you too, just a little,” you answered him, placing a soft kiss to his cheek.
“i’m glad you decided to stay, my little angel.” he tightened his arms around you, one hand lightly rubbing up and down your back.
“what can i say? your unending snark and wonderful attitude every morning won me over.” you let yourself giggle softly as the demon shook his head.
“and now you get to deal with me… forever,” hyunjin murmured in your ear, his tone menacing but lighthearted.
“i chose my fate, i’m okay staying here and taking over the realms with you; this is what i want,” you said back, a fond smile taking over your face and matching the one spreading across hyunjin’s lips. “you’re what i want.”
“and you’re just what i want, my angel.”
