I mean for one thing it's an interesting plotline like I remember first reading this and going 'WOAH WOAH WOAH WHAT WAIT WHAT' and then obviously it's expanded upon in vol six but not as much as it could've been

Like it's STILL vaguely confusing to me and I wonder if there's any fan expansions on the Ramona/Gideon situation because like first of all WHAT THE FUCK second of all what the fuck and third of all what the ACTUAL fuck

Rambling about 15x18

I rewatched 15x18 "Despair" yesterday. I didn't want to at first, I told myself that I'll stop at 15x17 because I just couldn't watch this confession again. It hurts so much. But I had to because I was making a rewatch to determine when Cas knew his happiness was in just being and saying it. And I actually realized that he just discovered it in the moment, seconds before making his confession, because he says, "But I think I know... I think I know now." So now, I KNOW this.

We also learn that he thought about what is happiness could be since he took that deal, and he understood he couldn't have it. "I always wondered, ever since I took that burden, that curse, I wondered what it could be? What my true happiness could even look like. I never found an answer because the one thing I want... It's something I know I can't have." At some point he knew his happiness was Dean and that he thought he couldn't have him. But which point? I NEED to know.

He couldn't have him for multiple reasons, multiple theories are possible (I still don't know which one I prefer):

Either because he thought his feelings were unrequited.

Either because of the Sacred Oath (it's about creating a nephilim but one could guess it's about relationships between angels and humans in general, plus in episode 12x10 "Lily Sunder Has Some Regrets" he saw Ishim going inside the house to kill the human, which he didn't but was supposed to do), so he probably doesn't want Dean to be killed because of him.

Either because if he was in a romantic relationship with Dean the Empty would come which means he couldn't really have him, kind of the snake eating its own tail if you know what I mean. This theory is hard to explain. I hope some will understand but maybe I'm wrong, who knows? We don't know. I NEED to know.

So now I might have to do a rewatch to know when Dean might have done something that got Cas thinking he couldn't have him? (Because WE all know he has him) or maybe he knew he couldn't have him since a long time? I don't know what to do. I NEED to know.

I couldn't rewatch 15x19 and 15x20 though.

(It wasn't supposed to be that long, but to summarize, I just NEED to know).

I don’t remember which EAH book it was but I remember one of them referencing Helen of Troy and the implications of that are absolutely insane to me. I need to know how exactly the Trojan War works in this world. Is it still 10 years? Do people still die or is it like a LARP where characters are just tagged out? Do they just skip to the last year of the war to get to dramatic beats? Do mythological stories go to the same school or is there like another school for myths? I need to know now. Also this means I can now put the house of Atreus into EAH which is both awful and hilarious

I wish we had more female characters like Eleanor Shellstrop. One of the most unlikable people you've ever met. Read a Buzzfeed article on most rude things you can do on a daily basis and decided to use that as a list of goals. Makes everyone's day worse just by being there. Dropped a margarita mix on the ground and tried to pick it up, only to get hit by a row of shopping carts which pushed her into the road where she was hit by a boner pill delivery truck, killing her instantly. Cannot keep a romantic partner despite being bisexual. Had a terrible childhood but will die before she gets therapy. Best employee at a scam company. Just the worst but also can't help but root for her to improve.

Absolute loser. Girl-failure. Bad at almost everything. Literally perfect female character.

I need more of Astarion being an absolute undead fucking weirdo. No more suave charming elf man NO this man forgets to breathe for prolonged periods of time and randomly gasps or croaks because he can't speak without air in his lungs. He lurks in dark corners with weird reflective eyes and doesn't move until you notice him. He's SUPER into the scent of his lover and buries his face in their neck or chest while taking in a BIG snorf. He gets very affectionate when he notices his partner is on their period or is bleeding from other causes. He doesn't make noise when approaching someone and often scares the shit out of them because he just silently shows up behind them. He's addicted to the warmth of his partner and rubs his body against them like a cat. He makes animalistic grunts and moans while he feeds. He forgets to blink and just stares at people with wide eyes while they talk. He stares at his lovers pulse point instead of looking in their eyes. He growls when displeased. Sometimes he smiles just a tad too wide. He watches his lover sleep and waits for them to wake up for them to find him just staring them down, unblinking. He's a fucking freak and I love him to bits I need more weirdo Astarion.

something i’ve been thinking about lately is like. growing up muslim right after 9/11 is something i’d never really reflected on much because it was all i’d ever known — at 5, my friend’s mum didn’t let her invite me to her birthday party because i was the only brown girl in our class, at 12, my classmates would joke about my family being part of isis, at 16, my dad was interrogated by american airport security for hours — and it always stung and it always hurt but it was just the way things were because the western world hated muslims. but i don’t think i’ve ever fully comprehended the extent to which we were hated until now.

palestine is being turned into a mass graveyard. every single day there are new photos of the atrocities being carried out against them and videos of them pleading for help and still those who can actually intervene turn a blind eye. israel is claiming to only be targeting hamas “terrorists” while bombing a refugee camp. israeli police raided and assaulted a non-zionist jewish neighbourhood. israeli soldiers are posting tiktoks of them torturing captured palestinians. this is not a complicated issue and it never has been. ethnic cleansing is being committed right in front of us. and yet the western world leaders refuse to call for a ceasefire.

and while zionist organisations accuse pro-palestine demonstrations of anti-semitism, while zionist celebrities insist that they’re afraid to leave their mansions in los angeles, a six year old muslim boy was stabbed to death and his mother wounded in the same attack in chicago. a muslim doctor was murdered while sitting outside her apartment complex in texas. hundreds of peaceful protesters have been arrested (many of whom have been jewish). despite what zionists want you to believe, this is not a jewish/muslim conflict. i have so much love and gratitude to my brave jewish brothers and sisters all over the world who are condemning israel for their actions.

ultimately, israel have been granted impunity by the west. they have slaughtered thousands upon thousands of innocent palestinians. they have bombed hospitals and schools indiscriminately. they have used white phosphorus, violating the geneva convention. they have completely eradicated nearly 900 bloodlines. how many more need to be wiped out? how many more children need to be buried underneath the rubble? how many more doctors need to be confronted with the bodies of their own family members? how many more journalists need to detail the horrific acts of violence they are witnessing? what more can be done to the palestinian people that has not been done already?

i truly believe that palestine will be free one day. i believe the palestinian people will receive the justice they finally deserve. but what breaks my heart is how much they have suffered and will continue to suffer before they are deemed worthy of help. and it would be to all of our detriment if we ignored how much of a factor palestine being a predominantly muslim state has played into the way the world has reacted to their genocide.
