god I feel so legitimately bad for people whose 'fandom friends' make them feel like they have to continuously apologise for liking a fictional character.... like bestie 1) you do not have to apologise. love your blorbos without shame. 2) if people are making you feel like shit for liking, again, a fictional character... maybe they ain't your friends lol. 3) the problem is not you or the character. You can like any character ever and not need to 'justify' or 'explain' yourself. Or freaking beg for forgiveness for the sin of liking them.

There are SO many cool interactions and lore things we can look forward to now that Rubius says he'll come back to QSMP (not only as an angel / demon, but potentially as a human too!), but that little detail reminded me of something:

Even though q!Vegetta and q!Rubius were mutually interested in each other wayyyy back in the beginning of the series, as an Angel / Demon, Rubius said he can't have relationships with humans because it's against the rules.

But a bit ago on stream, Rubius said that he's thinking about having a "human" side so he can build and do more things on the server as a regular player. I'm excited because this means he can have more casual interactions with people and we can see him interacting with his friends more (and he can experience The Horrors), but also...

I think we're in for some very interesting drama in the next few weeks.*

* ( Assuming Rubius doesn't get harassed off the server by toxic shippers and weird fans of the Eggs again. Please be nice to Rubius and welcome him back kindly, he's a very cool guy and his character is SO interesting )

wondering if childe being designed with red hair was researched and has a deeper meaning bc theres a bunch of stuff that makes a weird amount of sense. for him to have red hair specifically.

red hair is basically a mutation (mc1r gene) and it affects a bunch of different stuff, not just hair color, but also vitamin production and pain receptors

redheads in particular produce their own vitamin D so historically people with that hair color moved more towards colder climates bc they could retain heat better and thus could withstand the cold more. bc of their vitamin D production they also had stronger bones than people who didnt have red hair so its theorized that in colder climates redheads were having more children than non-redheads bc the latter just had brittler bones and had a rough time in the cold (the video i watched abt it also made a joke abt how redheads would thrive "underground" more than in the sun and well. funny that). also apparently some redheads need 20% more anesthesia than non-redheads bc they can have a higher pain tolerance

so its interesting that childe, known redhead, lives in a cold climate (snezhnaya) has a lot of siblings, and survived the abyss (makes his own vitamin D, has Stronger Bones, possibly high pain tolerance) its kind of hilarious? are u telling me him having red hair is deep. i love that

Right in time for bad weather to roll in!

There's a game on the Vita that I adored because you created both your character and also a second character that followed you around. (in that game, you're a little fella and your secondary is basically your babysitter who can't feel emotions and is programmed to be not be fond of you)

On many consoles, there's another game where you create your character and also create a secondary and it's very much your first in authority. (Arisen and Pawns? Multiple people knew of the game when I posted fanart of my silly duo so.)

However, there's tragically a third game I found in which you also have two characters and the first one is a fella, a hooman... and the second is AI. And absolutely adores you. Buuuut I made my primary a kind of indifferent fella named Adam and then in honors of the first one I mentioned, I named my secondary 'sqlmn' which is basically pronounced 'salmon'. Which is what my angy babysitter was named, Salmon.

Anyway I'm too embarrassed to admit which game I'm playing so have fun guessing!

Kakyoin’s whole point of his character, once you look at things like the way he speaks about the connections he sees between other people yet how he rejects the friendships of children in his school rather than being rejected by other children, is that he limits himself based on how he sees other people. He believes to connect to other people he must be fully understood and seen for who and what he is, and he believes people not knowing about his abilities makes them fundementally incapable of reaching that level of understanding with him. Making any connections with others pointless and leading up to nothing. He sees his parents being bonded to each other, friends and partners being bonded to each other, but he does not understand how a bond like that could exist for him and believes it's impossible, and convinces himself he doesn't need bonds like that, because they're just not possible for him; until he meets Dio and then subsequently meets the sdc gang and realizes that people who can understand him Do exist and he is capable of making bonds with others after all. And finding that truth means so much to him he's willing to die rather than possibly go back to a world where he's lost those bonds he struggled for so many years to create.

Man going from the land of snow movie immediately into shippuden the movie really smacked me upside the head with the realization that part 1 nart is a million times better than shippuden nart. And I like older Nart, I really do, I like all the Narts, even the Bort one to a degree(when he's not being a shit father). But like, his immaturity and earnestness and energeticness are all cute and even inspiring when he's a kid. In the first movie I was giggling and cheering the kiddo on. But with 15yo Nart when he acts immature and yells at every little thing it's just like. Dude. Calm down. You do not need to keep acting this way. Like, I like his stubbornness when he's all "I'm bringing you home Sasuke!", but it's a little annoying when he's all like "Why do I have to follow Neji's orders?!" Like, idk, I think just the older a character is the less tolerable those traits are to me. Like it's cute when they're kids but then it turns into falling behind on the maturity scale I guess.
