I'm so glad people have found a word for our most beloved characters, the ones who reach right in and grab our heartstrings, who come and nest in our ribcages, who settle amongst our thoughts and share their own as gentle nudges or angsty wailing or joyous yelling. It's so nice to be able to point and say “yeah this little fucker, this one, I'm obsessed, I'd kill and die for them, they're part of me now” with a single defining word.
And by GOD do I wish that word wasn't “blorbo”.

*deep breath* I know it was all for the plot but I'm not here for both Mel and Linds each tackling Brian and Justin separately over how in their eyes Brian was holding Justin back by making him sacrifice his art by staying in Pittsburgh and marrying him. Especially Mel's line of "you better be good to him considering what he's sacrificing to be with you" Excuse me... Brian has always been good to Justin on the whole, yes he's been an insensitive dick at times but he's never lied or cheated on him. He took care of him financially when they broke up, he didn't have to and he never got revenge or mistreated him for leaving him. Brian was FINALLY happy and content with Justin why couldn't they have been more sensitive towards that yk?

emily gwen, the creator of the sunset lesbian flag that we’ve come to commonly use, still continues to live in poverty.
multi-billion dollar companies have used their design and made profit from it, and yet they have not seen a cent for their creation.
i’ve been friends with emily for years, and i have not once seen them be financially stable the entire time. i’ve seen them homeless, unemployed, starving. right now, they need our help more than ever.
please consider donating to emily’s ko-fi, especially if you’ve used their design to create something and profited from it.
