also. you know what’s fucked? the Australian Electoral Study does not make any space for disability. at all. ctrl + f for “disabled” and “disability” and you get nothing. even in the section on employment? yeah there’s a box that says “unemployed due to caring responsibilities” but no option for “unemployed due to disability”. it’s just straight-up not there. the closest thing is “could not complete the survey due to physical or mental impairment”. that’s ALL we’ve got. it’s almost like disabled people don’t vote…. except YES WE DO
