the other thing cats do is actually, more frequently than you would expect, kill babies. they lay on them because they're warm, but the weight of the cat prevents the baby from inhaling and causes asphyxiation.

(sorry for leaving y’all in suspense I was grocery shopping) Surprise!! I accidentally got into Len’en like two weeks ago. Whoops! I got ideas for cool drawings to do with each of the BPoHC shrine team members (and you-know-who, ofc, but that one might be… weird lol), but Tsubakura gets to go first cause theirs is the simplest; just greyscale + red color scheme with a split background and the pose is mostly random (maybe they’re squishing Tsurubami’s little eye thing? Idk). Very pleased with how everything worked out; the line for the eye is exactly where the dividing line for the background was and the way I managed to make the vest corseted while not changing the ribbon placement is just perfect. Although I did make their hat smaller out of the aforementioned cowardice also that thing is hard to draw

After 10+ Long Rests to clear out any event that can override this one and another Duke rescue later, I finally got Wyll's last romance scene

#s.txt #s.poem #mom tag #poetry #okay to reblog #it's officially been over a year since the last time i saw my mom.#her skin was translucent paper thin and she looked so fragile in tht hospital bed but she was supposed to be getting better #and she did. for about a month.#she went back into the hospital 3 days after my birthday.#she stayed there for like 2 weeks and then died about a week after she checked herself out.#the last time she ever texted me was on my birthday. i waited two days to text back. and i never heard back from her.#the next time i saw her she was a pile of grey ashes in a plastic urn. she sits on my shelf now. i haven't gotten her a new urn yet.#i try not to feel guilty. there wasn't much i could do from a thousand miles away #but i still feel the guilt every day itching under my skin and screaming at me in my mind that i should have done better #that i should have been there for her #her phone number has since been given to someone else. i deactivated her facebook account. i cleaned out her apartment & threw away almost #all of her belongings.#i took photo albums. i took some jewelry - including the ring she wore as she was cremated. it survived the fire. the funeral home put it #in the urn with her ashes. i wear it sometimes just to feel like there's still a part of her with me.#but she's gone and i don't believe in an afterlife and neither did she #there's some comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain that she is no longer suffering #but i still sit here and i think of all the things i never got to tell her and the new things i want to tell her every single day #i never got to come out to her. not really. i never got to tell her that i understood what she went thru with my dad because i lived it too #anyways. sorry for going off in the tags. i'm okay i promise. just feeling a lot of feelings right now.

Getting my GED is so scary bcs my mom and dad both dropped out of school (they homeschooled us, poorly) before even starting algebra so I'm literally starting from like, the basics at multiplication (I'm in algebra now!) and going from there, but in my classes twice a week they discuss like, slope and stuff? Im sure I'll understand eventually when i get there but its so scary (⁠ꏿ⁠﹏⁠ꏿ⁠;⁠) also they discuss historical events and it's made me realize my parents didn't teach me abt a lot of history esp non american history, so i don't even begin to know where to start asking questions about history, American or otherwise, to learn about that

#they keep telling me I'm doing rly good w math #but i can't ask questions Abt the ged tests since we sign NDA agreements before taking the test!#i just wanna know hw much of language arts will be on history because my GED book practice test and the official practice tests both have #questions on historical events #also i have a really bad memory and dates are really hard for me bcs they're in number form and i have dyscalculia #ask to tag
