She was sad the whole journey home from work knowing that Christmas was tomorrow and she was going to be alone. As she gets into her apartment complex, she runs into her neighbour at the mailbox. She’s got 3 packages in her hands while trying to figure out how to carry the last two, “do you want help?”
“Oh, please?” She sounds so relieved. “What a blessing it is to see you today.”
She smiles for the first time in a few hours, “Oh, anytime Penelope. Are these all gifts?” She asks as she takes the two packages in her hands. She’ll come down for her own mail later. Nothing interesting should be in there.
Penelope nods, leading them towards the elevators. “I’m having a big holiday gathering tomorrow— wait, do you have plans, are you going home to see family?”
“No,” she admits, sadly. “I couldn’t get a plane ticket, I tried but they’re so insanely expensive lately.”
“Yeah, I know,” Penny sighs. “I haven’t gone out to see my brothers in years, they’re in California.”
“It sucks… but you have lots of friends here, right? I’m sure they’re coming over tomorrow?” She asks, mostly so she can feel some sort of comfort if she isn’t doing anything tomorrow either.
“I’m having Christmas here for the first time,” she shares. “Dinner starts at 6:30 but we’re having a little bit of everything for lunch around 2, if you want to stop by at any time?”
“Oh no, I couldn’t—
“You can, and you will!” Penelope insists. “You don’t need to worry about gifts or bringing any food, just show up. I hate the thought of you being alone next door.”
“Okay, I’ll come,” she gives in with a smile. “But I’m bringing a baked good… have you ever been to my bakery?”
“You own the bakery?” She’s so flabbergasted. “I thought you just worked there?”
She smiles, “I do… we do okay but I’m by no means rich enough to buy a plane ticket home.”
“Well, maybe that’s a good thing cause now I can eat whatever you bring tomorrow!”
She spends the whole night baking. She makes molasses cookies with powdered sugar on them in shakes of little Christmas trees and she makes chocolate croissants. One of which she brings to Penelope around 10 am so that she can have a nice breakfast before the party starts.
She showers, picks a cute outfit and by 3pm she’s anxiously waiting by the door trying to hype herself up to go over. She only knows Penelope. They’ve lived beside each other for 3 years now. She’s seen her friends coming and going and heard them talking in the halls but she’s never talked to them. But if they like Penelope, they’ve gotta like her too.
So she bucks up and heads over.
She knocks and within seconds, a handsome man is throwing the door open. “You don’t have to— oh, hi?”
“Hi… Penelope invited me? I’m her neighbour… Y/N,” she awkwardly introduces herself.
He’s at a loss for words— and breath, for a moment and then shakes himself out of it. “Spencer… Reid. Doctor… Doctor Spencer Reid.”
It makes her laugh, easing the anxiety out of her system. “Can I come in, Doctor Spencer Reid?”
“Yeah, yes, come in,” he steps out of the way and extends his arm into the room for her to follow. He closes the door after she’s inside and smiles. “How do you know Penelope?”
“I live next door.”
“Really?” He can’t believe it. “How long?”
“3 years now…”
“And you’ve never come over?” He looks offended.
She smiles, “Why, sad you haven’t known me longer?” She manages to tease him. She’s not always good at reading people but something about how he’s acting makes her think he likes her.
He blushes but nods, “Well, welcome. It’s nice to finally meet you.”
“You too,” she looks him up and down. He’s very handsome. And a doctor… “how do you know Penelope?”
“We’ve worked together since I was 22…”
“And you’re now…?”
“42,” he presses his lips together, awkwardly. “Old…”
“No, no you’re not, I would’ve guessed 35 at the most,” she teases, stepping into his space, she places her hand on his arm. “You’re a very handsome 42.”
“Are you doing anything for New Years?” He asks, removing all his fear and looking at her with hopeful eyes.
She shakes her head, “no… I might be working but I can leave early, or you can come see me there?”
“Where do you work?”
“I own the bakery on 16th Avenue,” she smiles. “Penelope buys in donuts and things from me all the time, actually, I brought over baked goods this morning, they’re in the kitchen somewhere.”
“Did you make those croissants?” He lights right up.
She nods, “maybe I can teach you how to make some?”
“I’d really like th—
“Y/N!” Penelope comes running from the kitchen and wraps her arms around her, “When did you get here?”
“Just now,” she laughs. “Spencer’s been keeping me company.”
“Ahh,” she pulls away with a smile. “Well, come eat, there’s lots of snacks in here.”
She leads them into the kitchen where her other friends are around the table. “The ones with kids will be around later, they’re still putting batteries and things in their kid's gifts. But this is Rossi and Emily and Tara.”
She reaches out to shake everyone's hand, realizing only now that she never shook Spencer's, but he doesn’t mind, he stays close to her. They sit side by side, he passes her things from the table that she wants to put on her plate and he gets up to get her a drink and everyone makes conversation while also watching him dote on her. It’s been 20 minutes but there’s something there… no man has shown her this level of interest or flattery before and not to quote Lana Del Rey but, when you know you know.
They’re friendly as ever when there are people around them and they flirt like mad when they’re alone. She already has a date with him, but he’s just too cute and that shade of red he turns is starting to become her favourite colour.
“You seriously used all the ice?” Penelope chastises Emily, who pretends she doesn’t know what she’s talking about. “Go get some more, we have guests coming who don’t drink alcohol they need ice for their sodas!”
“I am far too drunk to walk down the street,” she counters and points to Dave.
“Not me,” Dave touches his nose, he doesn’t volunteer to do anything and Tara does the same thing, she’s just as drunk as Emily.
Spencer goes to get his coat with a sigh, “I’ve got it.”
“I’ll come too,” she rushes to the door with him, putting on whatever coat fits her so that she can follow him down to the street for some extra alone time with him.
She reaches for his hand on the street, “So, what’s it like at the FBI?”
He holds her hand gladly, “it's… okay. I just teach now. Fieldwork put me in the hospital too many times and I like being alive.”
“I’m glad you’re still here,” she bumps shoulders with him.
His smile is beautiful. “So, about that date?”
“We could do anything you want,” she assures. “But my offer still stands.”
“I think I’d like a baking lesson,” he nudges her back. “It's the one thing I’m not good at.”
“So what are you good at?”
“Rambling, falling over, getting shot,” he teases but she swats his arm, leaning into him with a laugh. “Okay, but seriously, I have a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Engineering and Math.”
“Well luckily for you, baking is just science and a bit of math,” she teases. “You’ll catch on quickly, smarty pants.”
He pulls her in, chest to chest, standing beside an empty store with all their lights off. He cups her face, “what’s sweeter? Your chocolate croissants or your kiss?”
She can’t help but laugh, “you’ll have to tell me…”
He pulls her in for a kiss and sparks fly behind her eyes. As if every atom in her being is on fire, she melts into him. Kissing him deeply, she holds his sides and the hand he has on her cheek goes into her hair as they begin to make out on the snow-covered street.
She pulls back first, smiling softly, “so?”
“You, it’s definitely you,” he teases. “But the croissants are a very close second.”
She laughs, “Well, keep up the compliments and there will be lots more kisses and sweet treats coming your way.”
“You’re the most beautiful woman in the neighbourhood,” he teases, leaning in for another kiss but she stops him.
“Just the neighbourhood?”
“The whole world,” he corrects, which is the right answer. She lets him lean in closer, stealing another kiss.
She kisses him again and again, trying to pull back but he kisses her a third time, making her laugh. “We need to get that ice, we’re going to be late for dinner.”
“do you want to hang out after dinner?” He asks, “I can walk you home?”
“And stay for more kisses?”
“Or croissants,” he shrugs. Happy with either.
They’re pretty normal for the rest of the party, she meets the rest of his friends and all their kids. And they’re some cute kids. The youngest is his friend Matt's 2-year-old, she sits at the grown-up table with them and eats one of the chocolate croissants with the biggest smile on her face. Y/N can’t help but think about how much her own kids might like her baking one day… and Spencer sees the way she looks at the baby too.
His friends are so lively, the the party goes on until well after midnight. The friends with kids head out early, Emily and Tara get a cab home, Dave is passed out on her couch and Spencer isn’t going to leave until she does. And she’s helping Penelope clean up.
“You don’t have to stay,” Penelope assures her, drying off dishes while Spencer washes them. She’s been putting things in Tupperware containers and organizing the fridge.
“I want to help, as a thank you,” she smiles at her. “This has been a lovely night.”
“And not just because I introduced you to your new boyfriend?” She teases and Spencer drops a plate.
She laughs, walking over to place her hand on Spencers arm, “I mean, meeting Spencer is the best present you could’ve given me.”
Penelope swoons, “Okay that’s it, love birds. Get out of my kitchen, go home, go canoodle and get to know each other. I knew this was going to happen.”
“Why didn’t you tell me in advance?” Spencer whines as he dries off his hands. “I would’ve worn something nicer?”
“You look cute,” she teases.
“See, that’s why,” Penelope points at her. “I knew she’d like you for you, she’s a baker and you love everything I buy from her bakery and she’s so kind and you need someone to love you the way I know you love people back. This is perfect.”
She wraps her arm around his waist and leans into his space, “thank you penny, we’re going to go now.”
“Thank you,” Spencer agrees, following her out of the kitchen and towards the door.
Once they’re in the hallway, he asks, “Did you really mean that?”
She nods, “of course?”
He lunges for her, kissing her with her back pressed up against her apartment door. She reaches for the doorknob, twisting it open so that she can bring them inside and push him up against the closed door instead this time. He moans into her mouth at the feeling of his back colliding with the door and her hands are immediately roaming his shirt.
He’s such a good kisser, he is gentle and soft, and he isn’t overly eager and controlling. He lets her explore and slow it down as she presses in closer to him and his hands wander to her hips.
“Couch?” She pants against his lips, wanting to lay down with him.
“Show me?” He agrees, following her into her apartment and to the living space.
She pushes him down against the couch and climbs on top of him. He wraps his arms around her, cradling her body like she’s the most delicate thing in the world. He kisses her just as soft and she moves her kiss to his cheek and his jaw up towards his ear, “you’re so handsome,” she whispers.
“Thank you,” he gasps. “You’re absolutely stunning, I don’t know how I got so lucky.”
She smirks against him, kissing down his neck, “You deserve good things, Spence.”
“You’re too good to me,” he teases, hand slipping down to her ass. “How far are we taking this?”
She hums, “I’m good just talking and kissing all night?”
“All night?”
She nods as she pulls back to look at him. “I kinda don’t want to let you go. I’m afraid you’re too good to be real.”
“I’m not going anywhere,” he assures. “I’m yours as long as you want me.”

Weakened by Eywa Pt. 1
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6
Masterlist
Summary: Ao’nung finally realizes that his actions have consequences
Warnings: curse words, bullying, mental breakdown, English isn’t my first language
Author’s note: it my first Avatar writing, so I hope you like it! This idea was spontaneous and I’m not really good at writing, but I hope you’ll enjoy it! I’m still learning how to use Tumblr properly since I don’t really use it 🥲
Yawntutsyip - darling, little loved one
Yaymak - foolish, ignorant
Tumblr media
You thought that all these days when you flew to the water clans were the hardest in you life. Little did you know that life with Metkayina would be harder. You expected to finally live a normal life, doing your chores without being sacred to be shot by sky people. Now you’re safe, but things didn’t get better.
Since your arrival, these boys were bullying all your siblings, including you. You have no idea why it is important for Ao’nung to see totally similar to him Na’vis. You all are same avatars with slight differences that were unavoidable due to the environment you’re supposed to live in. Oh, yeah… supposed to live.
“What are you even doing here?”
“You’re so useless to our tribe”
“Go back to your monkey house”
All these words almost engraved in you mind without leaving space for other thoughts and hope. It’s been two weeks since you arrived and you still haven’t ridden an Ilu successfully, you can’t hold your breath as Metkayinas do. This makes you feel horrible and believe all these mean words.
“C’mon, Y/N, you can do it!”
Neteyam is trying to teach you how to deal with ilu and his voice is so calming, he really believes in you as an older brother. You wish you could just believe him, but insecurity lays too deep and securely in your mind.
“I don’t know… I can’t…”
Your voice was really soft and quiet as you’re the calmest child in your family. You don’t like loud sounds and fast actions. That’s just the way you are. Neytiri says that Sylwanin was just like you.
Despite being slower and more sensitive that other Sullys they loved and protected you with all their heart. Jake knew that Kiri and Tuk are different, they can deal with their problems a lot easier, while you cannot. When something bad to your family or yourself happens, you worry a lot and you won’t tell anyone about your worries unless they make you to. That was the hardest part of you character.
“Hey, are you okay? Do you need to take a break? We can continue tomorrow, don’t worry yawntutsyip.”
Neteyam was worried about your mental state, you were too quiet these days and it never meant anything good. Trying to make you speak about your feelings was completely impossible. You always think that your family has too much to worry about to burden them with your own issues. You want to be like Kiri and Tuk. That’s hilarious, Tuk is way younger than you but she’s able to deal with her emotions way easier than you.
“I’m good. Can we just take a break for like half an hour? I think my brain melts.”
You awkwardly smiled at the end trying to lighten the mood. Neteyam smiled back, feeling relief as you seemed to be just tired. He didn’t want you to hide anything from him and your family.
“Okay, yawntutsyip. I’ll go find Lo’ak and make sure his ass hadn’t get in trouble again. Kiri is on that side of the beach by the way. You can join her, she’s probably flirting with plants again. Let’s meet here in an hour.”
You laughed at his little joke about Kiri. But that’s a fact. Since you arrived here all she’s been doing is examining all local flora and fauna. You missed your time together in the forest, maybe now you’ll have a chance to talk and just be together.
“Okay!”
“Tell me if something goes wrong.”
You knew this look. The big brother look. Sometimes you think how hard it would be for you to live without your family, the way you’re connected to them something really fascinating. And one of your love signs is time. Spending time with your family and each member is the way you show love, the way you feel protected and loved.
You see Kiri laying down in water and looking for something. She didn’t see anyone around, attracted by… water? You didn’t try to understand what’s going on in her mind.
“Hey, pandora geek.”
You stood in front of Kiri and the shadow from your body covered her. Only after that she raised her head and squinted at you.
“I thought you’re with Neteyam. What’s wrong?” She sat on the sand, water was covering her legs a little. You did the same thing, hugging your knees and placing your head on them.
“We took a break, my brain doesn’t work properly. I still can’t ride ilu.”
Hopeless sigh made your sister chuckle, but then she saw your eyes. They were full of sadness, you were not happy. Kiri felt guilt, as your sister she had to be with you, she forgot that Sullys stick together.
“What bothers you?” You were not sure if it’ll be okay to tell her everything. But you family always encourage you to speak what lays in your heart, so you decided to do it.
“There’s a lot… I miss home, I miss flying with you, Neteyam and Lo’ak around Hallelujah mountains.” You were vulnerable now and this is one of those rare moments when you opened your feelings easily. Kiri was the only one you did it with. You could feel tears coming to your eyes, you needed this. “I just miss our way of life. I don’t know why it’s so hard for me to get used to it. Especially, when you always hear…”
“Hey monkeys! Still can’t ride ilu? How can you be so yaymak? You’re both freaks!” you could recognize this voice in millions. “One sister has demon blood, another is too dumb to do things that even infants can do!”
Ao’nung and his friends were coming towards you. Kiri’s body immediately tensed, you could feel it.
“What do you want? Is there nothing to do?”
Ao’nung and his friends came closer and you both stood up. Kiri was looking at him angrily, ready to fight. You were supposed to have such a good conversation, opening each other your soul, but this bully spoiled everything.
“My goal for now is to get rid of such fake Na’vis like you two and your stupid little brother.”
You were furious, how dare he talk like this about your family. Yes, he did say mean things to you, but he still picked his words. Now it’s too much. Nobody can talk about your family this way.
“Shut up and don’t get close to me and my siblings!” You tried to get into protective sister mode. Kiri was shocked by the way you raised your voice. She’s never heard such tone from you before.
“Look at this! Little girl knows how to talk?” Ao’nung was teasing you and laughing with Roxto and the rest of his friends. “Maybe you’ll learn how to swim properly soon by the time my future brother or sister will turn 10. Hopefully.”
You clenched your fists, trying to hold all your emotions. Anger, offense, sadness. It felt like a hurricane of extremely high spectrum of emotions, which was hard for you to bear.
“Don’t you dare…”
You didn’t control yourself that you were coming closer and pushing him. The reason why you felt this way was in him.
He did this to you.
You didn’t care that he was taller than you and all you faced was his shoulders. You didn’t care that he barely moved as you tried to hurt him as much as he hurt you. All he did was laughing. It seemed like Ao’nung didn’t understand anything you said, like he didn’t see you breaking into pieces right in front of you.
“Calm down, you little skxawng!” It was a joke for him. For you it was your last piece of composure.
“You’re dumb! So dumb that you can’t even understand how much pain you give me! Every day I wish I don’t meet you so you won’t shower me with all your shit! Every night I cry myself to sleep because all your mean words you’ve said hurt me! And you don’t understand me, how can you be so mean?”
You were screaming at him and trying to hit, mental breakdown took over your senses. You could physically feel how your heart hurts and legs weaken. All sounds were heard as if from under the water, you didn’t see what’s going on around you. Someone’s holding your shoulders and pushing you to their chest to not let you fall on your knees.
“Don’t touch her!”
Furious voice sounded from afar. Neteyam. Your brother who always protects you, surrounds you with love you need. That’s why he calls you yawntutsyip. Little loved one.
You could feel your brother as he came closer to you. His steps were as heavy as his mood. When he saw you breaking down in front of this asshole and because of this asshole, he almost lost his temper. The way chief’s son was holding and looking at you, finally realizing that his actions have consequences. He had to drive you crazy to understand it.
“Back off! Now!”
He pushed Ao’nung as he got closer to him, taking off his hands off you. You didn’t realize it was him, who held you all this time. Was it long? Actually, everything happened in less than 2 minutes, but for you it was like an infinity.
“What happened?”
Lo’ak was here, he saw you crying in Kiri’s hands and Neteyam fighting with Ao’nung and his friends. He didn’t need to check on all details to punch Roxto and other guys.
“It’s fine, we’re here. Don’t worry.” Kiri was sitting with you and slowly swaying, while tapping your head to calm you down.
“I’m sorry, I…” that’s all you could say.
Neither you nor Kiri noticed how the fight stopped until Neteyam came closer and examined you. His eyebrow was cut so as his lower lip, but he didn’t care. Now he could feel only your pain.
“Yawntutsyip… my sister.”
“I’m sorry, Neteyam. I didn’t…” You were gasping for breath from crying, not being able to collect your thoughts.
“Shhh, that’s fine, you’re fine. We’re here, nobody will hurt you again.” Kiri gave you to Neteyam, he was calming you down repeating the same moves as Kiri did. You were crying, letting all pain, that was suppressed inside of your soul, to flow through you.
Your siblings knew that you need to feel it to let it go. That is the only way for relief.
“Let’s go home, yawntutsyip?” Neteyam’s voice was calming as always, he hated seeing you crying.
You just nodded in agreement, hiding your face in brother’s neck and holding him as if someone can take you from him in any moment.
Yes, most Na’vis are brave, ready to fight and protect their beloved ones. But you just can’t do it. You are the one who needs to be protected. Eywa created you that way and you can do nothing about it.
“Don’t ever come to our sisters, you little bitch! Are you so insecure that you’re afraid to battle with me and choose those who are weaker than you?” Lo’ak didn’t miss to say the last goodbye before following after all of you. He didn’t wait for the answer, he didn’t need it.
Ao’nung was standing up there and looking as your figures disappear. No words are in his mind, except for one.
“Fuck”
————————————————————————
I hope you liked it! I’m not sure if I’ll write the second part🫣 I have an idea but idk if it’s worth it, we’ll see!

Many people would call Shigarki the creepy type if they saw him on the street. Slouched over, face always buried in his phone with his hoodie covering the rest. He looked like your local creep who hung around popular stores and malls by himself. He would go to one mall in particular, even more so after he realized they had a Game Stop there. He would frequently go in to browse, and while he was checking out one day, he met you behind the counter.
“Will this be all?” you ask in your sweet customer service voice, with your head slightly tilted. Shigaraki froze in place. No one this pretty has ever talked to him before.
“Um, yeah, that’s all.” he says quickly, looking down to the ground while you're bagging his games.
“This one’s my favorite; I’ve been playing non-stop since it came out, have fun with it!” you say as you hand the bag back. And you play games? Could it get any more perfect?!
“Thanks,” he managed before walking out of the store and finding the closest bathroom. He locked the stall door and sat down. With his heartbeat in his cock, he couldn’t stop thinking of how innocent your voice sounded, and how pretty you looked. He decided from then on you were his next obsession.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shigaraki visited the store so often he learned your schedule. He would watch others make small talk with you, and it made him want to steal you for himself. His blood boiled when someone else would make you laugh. Soon enough, seeing you at your work wasn’t enough. He wanted to know more about you. So he followed you home one day. He kept his distance, being too scared of appearing creepy to people around him. You lived a few blocks away from him, who knew! This made it very easy for Shigaraki to stake out across the street and just watch you for hours. You always kept your windows open, maybe for the natural light? He appreciated it though; in his eyes, you left your blinds open for him. So he could watch as you dance around your room with your dog, and then relax and watch tv, hugging a pillow as you accidentally fall asleep. You were precious, and he realized all you wanted, all you needed, was someone like him to cuddle up into, to make sure you were safe. After all, there were too many creeps who could hurt you- he was just making sure they didn't get to you.
Shigaraki made it back to his place, but you never left his head. He went from sitting in the bushes, to sitting hunched over his desk, looking up your name on every search engine imaginable. “Bingo!” he says once he finds your socials. He scrolls down your page, seeing your stories about going to conventions earlier in the summer, spending time with your friends and- oh? What’s this? You were hugging a boy in this picture. Shigaraki zoomed in to get a good look at his face. “Why would you want a bastard like him?” he grunted angrily. He clicked on his profile and saw a post of you two eating at “your favorite restaurant” together for his birthday. The post was from the beginning of this year, so maybe you weren’t still with the guy. I mean Shigaraki didn’t see anyone while he was stalking you, which was a good sign.
Over time, his camera roll would fill up with screenshots of you off of your profile, shaky pictures he snapped of you while you were working, etc. He was in the store just when you worked now, because any other time he was following paces behind you to wherever your pretty feet were taking you. Stepping up to the counter with a few games, you began checking him out. His voice low and quiet as he asked, “Do you play games often?”
“Oh sure! Whenever I have free time, really. But lately I’ve been too busy. We should totally play together sometime!” you beam. Play together? He wanted to do a lot more than that .
“C-Cool, then I’ll see you through a screen next time,” Shigaraki scratches his neck awkwardly. You give him that practiced smile you show to all the customers. “Oh, what time do you get out?” he asks, and you give him a confused look. “S-so I know when to hop on! Just in case..” he drifts off, trying to keep cool. You tell him around 8, and he leaves. That’s perfect. Gives him just enough time to run some errands.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shigaraki went to the hardware store and got the smallest cameras he would find. He hurried over to your place, and prayed the key was still under the rug where you left it. And it was! He unlocked your door, and your small dog ran up to him, jumping on his leg. “You’re a friendly little guy, aren’t you?” he says, leaning down to pet the dog. Don’t get distracted ! He reminded himself. He began by setting a few cameras up in your room, one facing each corner. This gave him a perfect view of your bed, desk, and closet. While he was in there, he picked up a piece of thin red fabric off the ground. He inhaled deeply, to smell a sweet and salty scent. He shoved them into his pockets for later, and finished placing the cameras.
Back out in the living room, your dog was following him around. Shigaraki knelt down and gave him a pat. He read the dog's collar; apparently his name was Shiro. Cute. “You want something, Shiro? You need some food?” he asked, looking around for his dog dish. He found it and filled it up and then sat on the couch. He took your panties out of his pocket, giving them another whiff. The smell shot straight down to his groin, heating him up. He pulled his phone out and went to his album just for you and scrolled through the pictures. He loved you so dearly, and one day you would know just how much he cherished you. He played back the small interactions the two of you had, and all the memories you’d have together in the future. He palmed his hardening cock, head leaning back on the couch.
It was 6:30, he still had a few more hours before you were back. He revealed his dick from his sweatpants, his tip leaking pre. He put your red panties in his hand, and started to jerk himself off- the soft lace brushing against the underside of his dick. His breathing became hitched and sporadic at the thought of you underneath him making the same noises. No, he wasn’t experienced, but you would teach him everything he needed to know!
“Y/N… god you’re so tight..” he groaned. His hips thrusting up into you as you let out lewd noises for him. He grabbed your face and whispered sweet nothings into your ear.
“God please- fuck, I’m close, Shiggy!” you whined under him, twitching with your back arched and a tit in his mouth. The thoughts that filled his mind went directly to his cock. Shigaraki humped his hand, wishing it could be you, waiting for when it was you. Maybe you’d even fuck on this couch, who knows. He quickly finished and made sure to leave nothing behind before heading out and staking out behind the bushes again.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You throw yourself on the couch as always, sitting where he sat just an hour ago. You made yourself some tea as you turned the tv on. It wasn’t too late, meaning Shigaraki could watch you for a bit.
A little later, you make yourself dinner. You take the trash out and leave it by the road. Shigaraki, being the weirdo he is, makes his way across the street, dangerously close to your front window, to snoop through your trash. There had to be something good in there. . He rummaged through your trash to find empty take out containers, some paper, and- chapstick? He wasn’t big on using it himself, but if it was yours, it was automatically going on his lips. He thought of it like an indirect kiss from his one and only. It had a taste of sweet strawberries, probably what you would taste like if he ever had the chance to kiss you. One day, he keeps telling himself. He pulls out his phone to check your room cameras and he sees you starting up your pc. Right! You asked to game with him earlier!  Shigaraki raced back home to load his game, praying he would find you in one of the local servers. There was FlameThrower2050 , TheRadicalDude , SuckItRight , and Shiro’sCloud online. You had to be the last one. He shot you a direct message, asking if you were up for a game, and you said yes. You actually said yes! Of course, you didn’t know it was him. You went into a private lobby and you turned on your headset. “Hey, can you hear me?” you asked innocently. Your pure voice went right through his heart. “Uh yeah, you sound great,” he blurts out. “Oh, Shigaraki?” you remembered his name?! This left him ecstatic. The game starts and you play a few rounds, Shigaraki being in heaven. You ended up beating him. In every. Single. Round. A bit embarrassing for him, but you laughed it off and didn’t make fun of him for it. Oddly, that stuck with him. You were so nice the whole time- he couldn’t wait to talk to you at work tomorrow!
It was getting late, which is why you had to go, which also meant Shigaraki got to watch you on the cameras. He pulled out his phone, switching to the view of your bed. You crawled in with just panties and an oversized shirt on, how cute. You scrolled on your phone for a little, until it dropped on your chest and you fell asleep. Your phone battery is gunna die, silly… Shigaraki thinks to himself. He could always go over and plug it in for you. No! That was too dangerous!! What if you wake up when he’s standing over you? Certainly that’s not a good impression to leave. He argues with himself for a bit before he’s out of the house, running down the street. His feet carry him all the way back to your place. He grabs the key and goes for the door. It was unlocked. You left it unlocked for him? How nice of you! He sneaks in and Shiro is quick to jump on him. Shiro took quite a liking to him. He tiptoed over to your room, looking at your sleeping body through the door crack. He opened the door slightly, going in and looming over you. He pried the phone from out of your hands and plugged it in for you. You would thank him later; tomorrow! When you’d see him next. Shigaraki zoned out, watching you sleep soundly for a good hour, stealing pictures of you while you were snoring, and getting a quick sniff of your hair. He had stayed there a lot longer than intended, the sun starting to rise. He snuck out of your room and locked the door on his way out.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Oh, hey!” Shigaraki hears your pleasant voice call out to him from the counter. “Last night was a lot of fun; how about we play again tonight?” you ask him. He immediately says yes, his heart doing flips in his chest. This was the start of something good.

Tumblr media
Crumpled up newspapers littered the floor as another ball was apathetically tossed aside. A sigh of defeat escaped your lips as you looked up at the ceiling in desperation.
“Still at it with the job hunt, huh?” your roommate, Hyuna, said when she saw your mess, “I told you to search online. Or try to get a job at a cafe or a boba shop or something.”
“Easy jobs online seem sketchy, and I told you I don’t want to work in the food industry ever again,” you groaned.
“But you’d rather...be a babysitter?” she questioned as she held up an ad, “Wait you could get paid up to $15 an hour? That’s pretty good.”
“I didn’t see that one. Is it an agency or something?”
“Not sure, take a look,” she handed you the paper.
“Oh, it seems like it’s a daycare run out of someone’s house. They’re looking for multiple applicants. You wanna do it with me?! I think it could be fun!” you ask excitedly.
“And spend most of my summer vacation with a bunch of snot nosed brats? I don’t think so. You have fun though!” she blew you a kiss as she walked away.
You whipped your phone out and immediately called the number in the ad. This job was the only one that seemed bearable, and you thought kids were cute for the most part. You’ve had a few babysitting gigs in the past so this shouldn’t be too bad.
“Hello?” a deep voice answered the call.
“Hi, I saw your ad in the paper! I was wondering if there was still a babysitting position open?” you inquired.
“Oh yes! Yeah there’s still a spot open. Um, can you give me a sec?” the man said quickly as you heard wailing kids in the background. After two minutes or so he returned to the phone.
“I’m terribly sorry about that. You don’t have a criminal background or anything right? Gosh, I’m sure this sounds unprofessional but--”
“Nope, I don’t have any charges or anything like that. Should I call back later?” you offered since it seemed like the man was a little preoccupied.
“It’s like this all the time. Why don’t we do a practice run tomorrow? Oh! I mean, whenever you’re available to start. Or technically have an interview? I guess? Hey, don’t put that in your mouth!” the man chastised at someone in the distance.
“I can come in tomorrow!” you said.
“Great! Just use the address in the same ad you got this number from! Oh, and please get here by 9am! See you soon!” the man hung up abruptly.
“That was chaotic…” you said to yourself.
A moment later your phone began to ring. It was from the babysitting guy.
“Hello?” you answered.
“I realized I never got your name! I promise I’m not always this frazzled,” he laughed as rambunctious laughter erupted behind him.
“Oh, I’m ______,” you gave him your first and last name.
“Cool. See you tomorrow Miss ____!” he said before hanging up again.
You were actually excited to babysit. It had been a while since you had done it, and playing with kids was usually fun. Then again, you’ve never had a bad experience with babysitting before. You prayed that this gig would continue the positive trend.
Donning shorts and a simple Mickey Mouse t-shirt, (you figured some kid was bound to like the mousey character) it was time to head off to your potential workplace. The babysitting place was actually fairly close to you, only about a 10 minute drive. It was 8:55am by the time you arrived. A couple of parents walked past your car to drop off their kids. All of the kids seemed to be pretty excited to enter the house, which was definitely a good sign.
You gently knocked on the door at exactly 9am. There was no response as you awkwardly waited for about a minute or so. All you could hear was shrill laughter and thumps that you presumed was the kids running about. You realized there was a doorbell, and sighed at your foolishness.
The door opened seconds after you rang the doorbell. A tall man with dark hair greeted you with a warm smile. You were taken aback by the handsome guy, suddenly questioning whether you were at the right place or not until a child popped up from behind his shoulder and yelled out a loud “Boo!” that caused you to jump.
“Ah, sorry about that! This one is always trying to play pranks,” the man laughed as he playfully jostled the child that was latched onto his back, “You must be ______?”
“That’s me!” you say with a little too much enthusiasm.
“Cool. C’mon in, I’ll introduce you to the kids,” the man led you inside.
The living room was littered with toys, from cars to building blocks to barbies. This place was definitely a kid’s happy place. Four little kids were playing with various things when you walked in. All of the kids there seemed to be between the ages of 4 to 6. At a glance, it seemed like they were all playing house. It took you a few seconds to realize that one of the kids was actually playing by herself; she was just physically close to the other kids.
“Everyone! This is our newest helper! Her name is Miss ____. Let’s all play nicely with her okay?” the man announced.
The kids playing house immediately stopped what they were doing and rushed to you. Two boys began asking you questions in a rapid fire succession, while the little girl merely clung to your leg.
“Those two are Kota and Bel,” the man pointed to the two boys, “The little girl stuck to you like glue is Ava, and the one playing over there is Lucy,” he continued to name each child.
“AND I’M SAM!!” the last boy exclaimed over the man’s shoulder.
“Yes, this troublemaker here is Sam. That’s basically the whole gang! We could get a few more additions as the summer goes on, but these guys are the OG crew. They’re all really sweet kids, once you get to know them. Any questions so far?” your employer asked.
“I don’t think I ever caught your name, sir,” you say politely.
“Oh! No need to call me sir. I think we’re probably around the same age? Not that I’m assuming your age or anything but--”
“He’s my horsey!” Sam interrupted.
“No, he’s the chef!” Kota yelled.
“No, he’s our dad who’s not our dad,” Lucy chimed in.
“My mom told me he was a babysitter?” Bel added, now visibly confused.
“I am all of those things,” the man reassured the children, “But my name is Taehyung. The kids call me Tae or Mr. insert whatever title I have in the game we are playing on that day. Pleasure to meet ya,” Tae extends a hand out to you, “Let’s see how your first day goes.”
The first few hours consisted of a rather intricate game of pretend set up in a fantasy world. You played a princess who was captured by an evil dragon, who was played by Taehyung (you couldn’t help but think about how you wouldn’t mind being his hostage).
The boys were valiant knights on their quest to rescue you. The girls played different creatures that aided the knights as fairies or unicorns or any other things they wanted to be. Most of the game consisted of you and Taehyung sitting together in a corner of the living room. Even though you didn’t have to do anything, it was fun watching the kids play. Their imagination amused you.
“Enjoying yourself, princess?” Taehyung asked as he also watched the children run around.
His deep voice sent chills down your spine. Something about the way the word “princess” rolled off his tongue was so enchanting. You cleared your throat before answering.
“This job has been pretty fun so far, Mr. Evil Dragon,” you smile.
“Hey! I’m not evil, just misunderstood,” he protested.
“Oh no! The dragon is about to eat the princess!” one of the boys cried out.
“What? No, I’m not going to eat her,” Taehyung said defensively.
“You need to pretend to eat the princess so that the knights save her,” Lucy, the quiet one, scuttled over to whisper to the both of you before hurrying back to her spot.
Taehyung turned towards you to appease the kids as they held their breath in anticipation.
“Rawr! I’m going to eat you!” he said in a deep voice.
“Oh no! Somebody save me!” you cried out, playing along.
A few moments passed but none of the kids moved. You both turned your heads towards them in confusion. They stared back at you blankly.
“You need to bite her!” Sam demanded.
“What?” you and Tae said in unison.
“Bite her! Bite her! Bite her!” the boys started to chant.
“But not too hard!” Ava expressed her worry for you, making you smile.
“I…uh…” Taehyung was at a loss for words.
“They’re not gonna stop, are they?” you whispered to him.
He nodded with a sigh as their chanting got louder. You offered him your arm. Kids can be crazy stubborn over silly things. Besides, you’ve done worse for less (college is crazy).
Taehyung shot you an “are you sure about this?” look, to which you just nodded. Once he got the okay, Taehyung grabbed your arm and pulled you harshly, causing your face to be a mere inches away from his.
“Fools! You think you can save the princess? I will devour her before your very eyes!” Taehyung declared with an even deeper voice. He opened his mouth menacingly, as if to show off his fangs. Then, he proceeded to bite your bicep. To be honest, he was being so forceful that you thought he was going to bite you for real, causing you to involuntarily close your eyes.
Instead, he gingerly placed his teeth on your skin so lightly that you could barely feel anything. You opened your eyes to see Taehyung grinning at you with your arm in his mouth.
“Aaaaggghhh GET HIM!!” Sam yelled, leading the other boys straight into Taehyung.
Taehyung quickly let go of you before he rolled out onto the floor. The boys began to pummel Taehyung with their foam swords and pretend bows and arrows. The girls came to your aid to help you escape during the battle.
The little boys triumphantly stood over their defeated babysitter who pretended to be passed out on the floor. You applauded their victory as the girls sat by your side.
“Okay! Good game, it’s almost lunchtime,” Taehyung announced as he quickly popped back up.
“Chef Tae makes the best mac and cheese!” Ava informed you excitedly.
“I wanted dino nuggies!” Sam puffed out his cheeks in disappointment.
“Sam, you know it’s Ava’s day to pick out lunch. It’ll be your turn tomorrow okay? I promise! You guys can stay here and play with Miss ____ till food is ready,” Tae called out as he walked to the kitchen. Lucy silently followed Tae.
“Lucy likes to help out in the kitchen a lot. She sets the table,” Ava explained when she saw you watching Lucy.
“You’re good at being a princess!” Kota butted in as he ran to hug your leg.
“I like your shirt! I like Mickey Mouse too. I saw him in DisneyWorld last year,” Bel said as he clung to your other leg.
The kids took turns holding onto your legs as you tried to walk around. Apparently the thought of making you tumble over was an exciting one, and that kept the kids busy until Taehyung called for everyone.
Five little bowls of mac and cheese were set up on the dining table. The kids took their seats as Taehyung handed out juice boxes. He positioned himself by your side as the little ones began to chow down.
“I normally just eat the rest out of the pot, but since you’re here I can get you a bowl. Sorry about biting you earlier, the kids really like it when I get serious about my roles,” Taehyung chuckled as he scooped out your portion.
“It’s no problem, you’re a great actor. Thank you,” you say politely as he handed you a bowl.
Lunch was spent making small talk with Taehyung. He was a newly graduated college student trying to make extra money before starting a real job hunt.Taehyung had been running this makeshift daycare since he was a senior in highschool.
“Summers are always fun with them,” Taehyung said while smiling fondly at the kids, “How has it been so far?” he asked.
“I’ve been having a good time. The kids are all really sweet! They have so much energy,” you answer.
“They do indeed, which is why playtime is so important in the morning! It makes what comes next easier, he winked at you before collecting the empty bowls, “Okay kiddos! Who’s ready for nap time?”
Lucy quietly raised her hand while the boys groaned. You figured it would be hard to get those active boys to settle down, let alone to take a nap. You helped Taehyung set up blankets and pillows in the game room. The kids made a beeline to their designated blankets without a fuss.
“Do you sing, Miss _____?” Taehyung asked out of the blue.
“Um, not really?” you say hesitantly.
“Ah, I see. No worries. Everybody ready?” he said.
“Yes!” all the kids replied.
“Alrighty. Do you have any song requests, Miss ____?”
You thought about which songs would make for a decent lullaby, “Do you know Adore You by Harry Styles?”
“I’ll have to look up the lyrics but yeah I like that song! I like his whole album actually,” Taehyung nodded as he pulled out his phone and took a deep breath, “Walk in your rainbow paradise~”
You were shocked by his vocal talent. His voice control was superb and the quality of his voice was downright euphoric. Even though Taehyung’s voice is deeper than Harry Styles’, his range was incredible. He was still able to go as high as Harry without any trouble. All the kids had fallen sound asleep by the time he finished the song.
“This is when I typically have about an hour of free time,” he said after quietly leading you back into the kitchen.
“You have such a beautiful voice! Do you sing to them every day?” you praised him.
“Thanks! Yeah, I sing to them every day. They used to get duets actually,” Taehyung sighed.
“Did you have another coworker before?” you asked.
“Yep. My best friend actually. He’s my roommate too, but he landed an internship this summer so he couldn’t be here. I’m very proud of him! But usually this is a job for two people so I decided to put that ad out. I’m happy you came out! The kids seem to like you,” Taehyung gave you a thumbs up.
“I hope so! Lucy might be scared of me though,” you recalled the way she mostly avoided you all morning.
“Nah, she’s just really shy. She told me that she thought you were really pretty though, so that’s a good sign!” he tried to reassure you.
“I guess it must be true then. Kids are brutally honest,” you smiled.
“She definitely wasn’t lying,” Taehyung smiled back at you.
You had to look away awkwardly to hide your blushed cheeks. There’s no way you could handle a direct smile from this guy. How was it possible for someone to be that handsome without even trying?!
“So what happens after naptime?” you quickly asked to change the subject.
“Basically more playing until their parents come. It honestly just depends on what the kids wanna do. We can play inside, in the backyard, and sometimes we go to the park,” Taehyung answered with an amused smile, “Let’s use this free time to conduct a more formal interview, shall we?”
Taehyung then asked you a series of questions about your summer schedule, if you’re willing to work every day of the week, how you feel about the kids, along with other things. You answered truthfully and kept up a professional demeanor. Taehyung seemed to be satisfied with your answers and leaned back in his chair.
“That all works for me! The people who really need to approve of you are the parents. I’ll introduce you to them later this afternoon. I’m sure they’ll all be fine once I vouch for you,” he nodded.
Soft giggles caught your attention. Taehyung signaled that break time was now over and led the way back to the living room. Kota and Bel were wrestling each other while the others threw pillows at them.
“Did everyone have a good nap?” Taehyung sing songed.
“Yes!” they replied.
“Can we play house now?” Ava asked.
“Yeah! Miss ____ can be the mommy now!” Sam bounced up in excitement, “Our last mommy used to be a boy.”
“Jimin was a great mommy and I’m sure he misses you all dearly. Jimin is my roommate/best friend/ex-cobabysitter,” Taehyung explained.
The game of house was more hands on from your end. The kids demanded you to carry them and read them stories like a real mommy would. It was mainly the girls who wanted to play with you, while the boys took turns wrestling with Tae or riding on his back. You were braiding Lucy’s hair when the doorbell rang.
“Kota! Your mom is here!” Taehyung called from the front.
All the kids trickled out one by one as their parents arrived. Taehyung introduced you to each parent; their reactions were all positive, especially when their kids raved about you being the new Jimin.
“If she’s anything like Jimin, then I have nothing to worry about. I trust your judgement, Taehyung,” one of the sterner looking parents said (Sam’s father to be exact).
“Congrats! You got the job,” Taehyung congratulated you once all of the children were picked up, “We get paid on Fridays. I’ll basically just split what we earn 50/50, cool?”
“That’s fine by me! I’m looking forward to working with you,” you bow graciously.
“Ah! No need to be so formal. We’re partners now! I’m not your boss or anything,” Taehyung gave you a friendly pat on the shoulder, “See you tomorrow!”
Summer was about to get rather eventful. All of the children warmed up to you surprisngly quickly, even timid Lucy (who had arguably grown the most fond of you). As the days went on, you couldn’t help but admire Taehyung’s kindness and patience when it came to the kids. From firm to understanding, he was everything a caregiver should be. He handled spats between kids with ease, often by making them forgive each other then laugh at some silly joke of his.
One afternoon, the kids voted to watch a Disney movie. All seven of you curled up on the couch together with you and Taehyung in the middle. Lucy sat in your lap while Bel sat in Taehyung’s. Halfway through the movie, Taehyung fell asleep. The kids didn’t notice since they were so engrossed in the movie. You however, DID notice. Mostly because he rolled his sleepy head onto your shoulder.
Your heartbeat quickened as you slowly turned to take a peek at the handsome man sleeping beside you. He looked angelic, and you realized that he smelled pleasant too. He had a sweet scent that was uncharacteristic for a young man. You took a deep breath and pretended not to notice him. He didn’t wake up until the doorbell rang near the end of the movie.
He seemed to be confused and perhaps even slightly flustered when he lifted his head from your shoulder, but quickly shrugged it off to go answer the door. The incident (and the drool on your shoulder) was never mentioned.
It had been a month since you started babysitting with Taehyung, and it honestly had been a lot more fun than you expected. The kids are wonderful silly little beings and Taehyung is...well...Taehyung.
You were cleaning up the living room on a late Friday afternoon after all the kids had been picked up. Taehyung was somewhere splitting up the week’s paycheck. Once all the toys were back in their respective bins, it was time to gather your stuff and go.
“Great work this week,” Taehyung commended as he handed you your cut.
“Thanks! Same to you as always. I’ll see you on Monday,” you wave as you open the front door.
“Actually um--” Taehyung cleared his throat.
“Yes?” you whipped around with almost too much eagerness.
“My friend is part of an art gallery showing tomorrow night and I was wondering if you’d like to go with me? I heard there will be drinks and finger foods…” Taehyung trailed off, presumably due to imagining what kind of snacks will be served.
“I’d love to! I’m not an expert on art or anything, but it sounds cool,” you smile.
“No worries, I’m no expert either. I’m just a guy who appreciates neat expressions of creativity,” he nodded humbly, “I can pick you up at your place, if you’d like.”
“Sure, I’ll text you my address. Oh uh, what’s the dress code like? I don’t really attend these things,” you ask shyly.
“I’d say a step down from formal? Like no t-shirts or jeans. Pretend like you’re going on a date to some restaurant that isn’t a michelin star but is still classier than Olive Garden,” Taehyung tried to explain.
“I’ll do my best,” you smile at his peculiar way of describing the appropriate attire.
A smile never left your face as you drove home. A chance to hangout with Taehyung one on one without any kids around? All of his attention will be on you? Yes please. You love the kids and all, but you finally have a real chance to get closer to Taehyung. To be honest, you might have the teensiest little crush on him, but who could blame you?
Tumblr media
The next day was spent preparing for your night out with Taehyung. It probably wasn’t a date (90% sure it’s not), but you wanted to look irresistible anyway. You put on a purple dress with flowy sleeves that made you feel like a princess. It was on the dressier side, but being slightly overdressed never hurt anyone.
You usually only had time to slap on mascara and a lip tint in the mornings before babysitting, but now you had abundant time to play around with your makeup. You settled for a soft yet glamorous look with shimmery eyeshadow and eyeliner. Sparkly lip gloss tied the whole look together and made your lips look tempting (or so you hoped). You decided to leave your hair alone since you were having a miraculously good hair day.
“Wow are you sure this isn’t a date?” Hyuna whistled when she walked into your room.
“It’s not! This is just the first time Taehyung will see me actually trying to look good,” you say defensively.
“You’re cute even in ratty t-shirts, but I get what you mean. Have fun tonight!” your roommate gave you a tight hug.
A strong knock on your front door indicated Taehyung’s arrival. Hyuna tagged along as you went to answer the door; she wanted to see the guy you’ve been gushing over for the past month for herself.
Your mouth hung open in shock for a split second when you opened the door. Taehyung also dressed up. He was wearing a bright sunflower shirt paired with a black blazer that perfectly combined fun with sophistication. He wore a red silky bandana looking belt for an added pop of color with his black pants.
“Hey Taehyung!” you greet him happily.
“Good evening, Miss ____. You look spectacular!” he complimented you immediately.
“So do you! It’s funny seeing you not in a t-shirt, though I’m sure you’re thinking the same thing,” you say.
“You’re charming even in your graphic tees, but this is a nice change of pace too,” Taehyung agreed.
“Hi! I’m Hyuna, ____’s roommate,” Hyuna butted in to shake his hand.
“Hi, I’m Taehyung, ____’s babysitting partner,” he introduced himself.
“We should get going,” you say politely before Hyuna could start to get chatty.
Hyuna mouthed an exaggerated “oh my god” coupled with a double thumbs up as you waved goodbye after Taehyung was already out the door. You playfully rolled your eyes but blew her a kiss anyway.
“I didn’t realize you lived so close to me,” Taehyung said as he pulled away from the curb.
“Yeah, it made the job even more appealing,” you nodded.
“I really am glad that you applied,” Taehyung said softly, as if to himself.
“Sorry, what was that?” you couldn’t hear him properly.
“Nothing! I said I’m glad you agreed to accompany me tonight!” Taehyung quickly stated.
“Thanks for inviting me out! I’m actually pretty excited,” you admitted.
The gallery was somewhere in the swanky part of downtown. You gazed out of the window at all of the high end stores Taehyung drove by. Everyone walking around the stores looked like supermodels, which was actually pretty intimidating. What if the people at the gallery looked like that too?
“We’re here!” Taehyung announced, interrupting your thoughts.
There was a decent amount of people wandering around the venue when you both entered. It was basically one big dimly lit room with spotlights on pieces scattered around on the walls plus some sculptures in the middle. Thankfully, the patrons already inside looked like normal people, most of them probably students like you.
“Taehyung!” someone called from the side of the room.
You both made your way towards the voice, only to find a man who was just as handsome as Taehyung greeting you with a bunny like smile. He had long hair that almost covered up his assorted dangly earrings. He definitely had art student vibes mixed with a dash of bad boy. The boys greeted each other with a ferocious hug, indicating that they’re probably good friends.
“Oh! What’s up, I’m Jungkook,” the boy shook your hand once he noticed you.
“She’s my babysitting partner this summer,” Taehyung said proudly.
“She’s replacing Jimin huh?” Jungkook laughed, “Taehyung and Jimin are like my brothers. We were all pretty close in college and are batchmates, even though I’m younger than them,” he stuck his tongue out at Taehyung.
“Yeah yeah okay whatever. Skipping grades in elementary school and bringing in a ton of transfer credits will help you do that I guess,” Taehyung shook his head even though he was still smiling.
“Are these your pictures?” you asked Jungkook, motioning to the mounted pictures behind him.
“Yeah! I took most of these in Madrid, I’ve been working abroad for my dream company,” Jungkook answered you proudly.
“Who’s this?” Taehyung pointed to a picture of a girl laughing by a giant tree.
“Yeah, she’s gorgeous!” you added.
“She’s um...a good friend. She was the perfect model,” Jungook said with a faraway look in his eyes that told you there was more to the story.
“Tell me more about her on our next phone call. Tonight is for celebrating you!” Taehyung picked up on Jungkook’s sudden change of tone.
You enjoyed listening to their old college stories as the boys reminisced about their past together. Jungkook relished telling you all of Taehyung’s embarrassing moments at various parties. Taehyung returned the favor by recalling Jungkook’s past run-ins with women. Despite his natural charm and god like looks, apparently Jungkook gets really nervous around girls.
You and Taehyung were on your own once Jungkook was flagged down by an older patron interested in purchasing some of his work. Taehyung stayed close to your side as you explored the rest of the gallery. Each artist was so incredibly talented as their pictures told  stories with just a single frame.
“____ look! They have those fancy charcuterie boards!” Taehyung grabbed your hand and excitedly dragged you over to the snack table. You couldn’t help but smile at his childlike elation.
“I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’ve been getting tired of being force fed fruit snacks every day,” you laughed as you ate the assorted appetizers.
“I completely understand. Unfortunately, the kids are too sweet when they want to share. I don’t have it in me to turn them down,” Taehyung agreed.
Once the food was eaten, you resumed walking through the gallery. It was fun making up stories to go with each picture. Taehyung seemed to gravitate towards adding a romantic twist to each story, while you opted for a bit of mystery. At the end of the event, Taehyung met up with Jungkook once more to say his goodbyes.
“Thanks again for coming with me, I had fun! I hope you enjoyed yourself,” Taehyung said as he drove you back.
“It was really neat! I liked hanging out with you outside of work,” you nodded.
“Would you say it was a successful date then?” Taehyung raised an eyebrow with curiosity. Your heart skipped a beat as your eyes widened with surprise.
“Was...was this a date?” you asked quietly.
“Did you want it to be?” Taehyung teased.
“I wouldn’t have gotten so dressed up otherwise,” you said defensively, taken aback by his sudden cheekiness.
“I realized I should’ve clarified that after you had already left. My bad,” Taehyung shot you a boxy grin, “But then I figured maybe you would be more relaxed if I didn’t mention it.”
“That’s odd logic, but I guess it worked,” you admitted begrudgingly.
Taehyung walked you back up to your house. He sweetly kissed your cheek and bid you goodnight, leaving you frozen in place.
“S-see you on Monday!” was all you were able to stammer out, to which Taehyung just smiled and waved back.
Hyuna happily freaked out with you once you were back inside. She was watching you from the moment Taehyung pulled back up. She shrieked with excitement once you told her that Taehyung confirmed that it was a date. Hyuna didn’t let up with grilling questions about how your night went. She even asked if the Jungkook guy you met was single, to which you truthfully answered that you didn’t know.
“Besides, he told me himself that he’s scared of girls. You’re scary enough as is,” you teased her.
“Oh shut up. So is Taehyung like, your boyfriend now?” Hyuna asked the million dollar question.
“I don’t think so. I think it was just a date, but that’s a good start!” you declared optimistically.
Babysitting on Monday went on like normal. Taehyung didn’t act any differently, which was both concerning and relieving. You were in the backyard pretending to eat whatever dirt concoction the little kids were serving you.
“This one is for you,” Lucy quietly offered Taehyung a clump of dirt sprinkled with blades of grass, topped with a dandelion.
“Oh, how pretty! What is it?” Taehyung played along.
“It’s a love potion. The next person you hug will fall in love with you,” Lucy smiled.
A smirk crept on Taehyung’s face as he pretended to eat Lucy’s love potion. He made a satisfied “Ahh” sound that made Lucy giggle.
“Tae has to hug me now! He loves me the most!” Sam yelled as he ran over to latch onto Taehyung.
“No, Tae loves me!” Bel argued as he pulled on Taehyung’s shirt.
“That’s not how it works!” Lucy huffed as she yelled at the boys.
You watched with delight as the little kids chased Taehyung around the backyard, demanding that he has to hug them. It was easy for him to juke them out as they constantly ran back and forth. You were content with just watching them until Taehyung began to make a beeline for you.
“Oh no no no,” you cried as you got up to run.
Taehyung (and the kids) chased you around for a little bit. The backyard was on the smaller side, so there wasn’t much space to evade all of them coming for you at once. To make matters worse, Taehyung actually started to try and catch you. His speed was no joke; he was much more agile than you gave him credit for.
With one pounce, Taehyung tackled you to the ground. Somehow he managed to whip himself around while you were falling, so you ended up falling on him. Now wrapped up in his arms, Taehyung smiled up at you with a shit eating grin.
“I guess you have to fall in love with me now,” he smirked.
“You wish,” you laughed as you pulled yourself up.
“Aw now he loves Miss _____,” Sam pouted.
“No, now Miss ____ has to fall in love with Tae,” Ava corrected him.
“That’s dumb,” Kota shook his head.
“Tae! Kota said a bad word!” Bel immediately tattled.
“Kota, remember what I said about bad words. No one wants to play with someone who says mean things,” Taehyung chided him.
“Sorry,” Kota mumbled.
“Let’s play go play inside. Who wants juice?” Taehyung patted Kota’s head.
The kids followed Taehyung inside like little ducklings. You loved that sight, you always thought it was the cutest thing. The rest of the day went by without a hitch.
The topic of favorite movies came up during lunchtime the next day.
“I like Frozen 2,” Ava stated, and Lucy nodded furiously in agreement.
“Detective Pikachu was better. Pikachu is funny,” Sam interjected. The other little boys then began to argue about which pokemon was better/stronger.
“I’m not really a big movie watcher,” Taehyung confessed as he took a bite of a dino chicken nugget.
“Have you at least seen the classics? Harry Potter? Lord of the Rings? Star Wars?” you listed with concern.
“I’ve seen Harry Potter and Star Wars. I think I saw the Lord of the Rings? I can’t really remember. I know I wanted to watch the newer Lord of the Rings movies,” he chuckled at your growing disbelief.
“Newer Lord of the Rings? You mean the Hobbit series?” you were disgruntled.
“Yeah those. I didn’t realize you were a nerd,” he nudged you.
“What of it? All of those are great movies. I have copies of the Hobbit series if you ever wanted to watch them,” you offered.
“Do you wanna watch them with me?” he perked up.
“Sure, I love them! You wanna do a marathon? It’ll take up a full day though,” you warned.
“I’m down. Are you free this Sunday?”
“I believe so.”
“Great! I’m excited to see you geek out over hobbits. Okay kids, naptime!”
Tumblr media
You drove up to Taehyung’s place Sunday morning, you weren’t kidding when you said it would take all day. Taehyung said to dress comfortably so you showed up in your sweatpants and oversized college tee. He answered the door wearing gray sweatpants and his favorite CELINE shirt. His dark fluffy hair fell over his forehead and was almost long enough to cover his eyes.
“Good morning! I hope you’re hungry. I made some waffles to eat while we watch the first movie,” he greeted you.
His humble abode smelled heavenly as the scent of dough tinged with a hint of cinnamon wafted through the air. The soft belgian waffles were delicious as they practically melted in your mouth. Taehyung asked a ton of questions with nearly every scene, but you didn’t mind. You were happy to flex your knowledge of Tolkien lore.
Hours later, you found yourself cuddled up with Taehyung as the final credits of the Battle of Five Armies began to roll. Taehyung was still trying to process everything that happened as he asked you clarifying questions about each character.
“Well crap, now I’m sad,” he pouted.
“Yeah, the ending is kind of a downer, but that’s what makes it so good! The Lord of the Rings has a happy ending if that makes you feel better,” you look up at him from his chest.
“You look cute like that,” he observed.
“Like what? Tiny from your angle?” you tilted your head.
“I guess so? Tiny, maybe submissive,” Taehyung’s voice lowered with his suggestion.
“Submissive? Is that how you see me?” you sit back up completely with defiance.
“Not at all. You’re pretty feisty, which is why making you be submissive is even more alluring,” he raised his eyebrow in a suggestive manner.
“Do you want me to be a damsel in distress for you? Not happening,” you smirked.
“Pretty princesses are good for one thing,” Taehyung hopped off the couch.
Before you could say anything, he promptly grabbed you and swung you over his shoulder. You were too shocked by his boldness and physical abilities to retaliate.
“They’re perfect for kidnapping!” he let out a dramatic evil laugh as he carried you off to his bedroom.
Once there, he roughly threw you on the bed. You couldn’t help but look around curiously since this was the first time you’ve ever seen his room. It was surprisingly neat; his bed was made and there were no messy clothing piles in sight.
“Are you an evil dragon then? Capturing princesses and such?” you teased.
“Evil dragon, dashing captor, I can be anything you want me to be. Just please not an orc,” he let out a chuckle before getting back into character, “Just know that you’re trapped here with me. No one is going to rescue you.”
“Oh no! What a terrible situation to be in! What on Earth is this extremely handsome dragon going to do with a poor defenseless princess like me?” you taunted.
“Ok this is all very hot but before we go any further, are you okay with this?” Taehyung asked sincerely.
“I can’t think of anything that I’ve wanted more,” you nodded.
“Perfect. Safe word is red,” he winked at you, “Now strip for me, princess.”
“And if I don’t?” you challenged.
Taehyung grabbed a fistful of hair on the back of your head and forcefully brought you up to his face, “I suggest not making me angry,” he sneered.
You didn’t think you were one for being manhandled, but god damn that was hot. There was already a tingle between your legs and he hadn’t even really touched you yet. You complied with his request, and quickly tore off your shirt and pants. Though you weren’t wearing any fancy lingerie, you were wearing a gray bra and gray panties that could pass off as matching.
“Mmm what a pretty treasure. It would be a shame to let it gounappreciated,” Taehyung stretched out that last word as he gently ran his fingers from your torso up to your neck before firmly grasping it.
Taehyung straddled you as his long fingers were wrapped around your neck. Slowly, he leaned down to kiss you. Though apprehensive at first, he gradually got more bold with it. His tongue dipped into your mouth the instant your lips parted. His other hand crept under your bra to fondle your breast.
“You take your clothes off too,” you said as soon as the kiss broke.
“You don’t get to make any demands, silly princess,” Taehyung shook his head.
You pouted and reached out to tug at his pants anyway. Big mistake. Taehyung slapped your hand away and slammed you back onto the bed.
“You don’t listen, huh? I’ll have to do something about that. Stay still or else you’ll make things worse for yourself,” he ordered.
You reluctantly obeyed, partly because you were curious about what he was going to do, and partly because you were actually intimidated by him. He returned back to the bed a few seconds later, but with a familiar silky red belt in hand.
“Give me your hands. Good girl,” he smiled deviously as he bound them together, “Remember the safe word is red, okay?” he gently reminded you.
He looked down at you with a satisfied grin as he began to take off his sweatpants. He had an obvious bulge in his underwear that outlined his massive dick. You were further entranced by his physique when he took off his shirt. He wasn’t ripped, but he was still fit, as you could plainly see when his chest was finally revealed.
“Open wide, princess,” he demanded.
You opened your mouth, and even flattened your tongue out a little bit for him. He pulled his cock out of his underwear, finally exposing his full length. You doubted you could fit even half of him in your mouth, but at this point it wasn’t up to you.
Taehyung lowered himself down to you, and teasingly tapped the tip of his cock on your tongue. He slowly eased himself into your mouth, forcing you to open your mouth even wider to account for his girth. He made his way back out once you gagged. He grabbed your head to hold you steady as he fucked your mouth once more. He got closer and closer to the back of your throat until he finally hit it. All you could focus on was breathing as tears welled up in your eyes. Taehyung thrusted a couple more times before he pulled out completely.
“Good girl indeed. Well done, princess,” he softly stroked your chin before wiping your tears away. All you could do was smile meekly back at him.
“Don’t worry, it’s time for your reward,” Taehyung smiled down at you as his hand slipped under your panties, “Oh you’re so wet. I can’t wait to taste you.”
He positioned himself between your thighs after he tore off your panties. His thumb fiddled with your clit, causing you to squirm. He placed a strong grip on your thigh to hold you down as he circled your clit faster. Your helpless whimpers were music to Taehyung’s ears.
Without warning, he easily stuck two fingers into you. He didn’t even let you adjust as he rapidly fingered you, his fingers curving to graze your g-spot with every stroke. His tongue swirled around your clit, adding even more toe curling sensations.
Him adding a third finger was the catalyst for the strongest orgasm you’ve ever had in your life. There wasn’t even a build up, everything just hit you at once. Suddenly you were crying out even louder as you violently came. Did it occur to you that you were squirting all over Taehyung and his bed? No. Were you doing exactly that? Absolutely.
“Delicious,” Taehyung said as he licked his lips, “Look at the fucking mess you made.”
“I-i’m sorry,” you managed to stutter, you were still recovering from your orgasm.
“It’s only fair that it’s my turn to make a mess now. Do I need to get a condom, princess?” he cooed.
You weakly shook your head. You needed to feel all of him, right now. Taehyung chuckled at your neediness as he aligned himself with your pussy. He slowly inserted his entire length into you until the base of his cock touched your soaked pussy. You moaned together as he stayed still for a second. You looked up to see Taehyung’s face lit up with pure bliss.
“You’re still so fucking wet,” he growled as he began to mercilessly buck his hips into you.
You moaned with every thrust as Taehyung shook the entire bed. Taehyung placed both of your legs on his shoulders, allowing him to hit you even deeper from this new angle. He leaned over to plant his lips on your neck as he fucked you. What started as a gentle peck took a violent turn as he harshly sucked on your neck. He left dark spots wherever his lips touched, and soon you were covered in dark blooms.
“Do you want me to soil your back or your chest?” he asked in a guttural tone.
“Back?” you answer dubiously.
You were immediately flipped over. You were laying flat on your chest waiting for him to prop up your ass, but he never did. Instead, he simply spread your legs wider and fucked you flat against the bed. Taehyung grabbed your ass and spread your cheeks to get a better view of your sopping pussy. You could feel another orgasm brewing as he fucked even deeper into you, and his cock was continuously dragging against your g-spot.
“Taehyung, I--”
“I know, princess. Let it all out. I want to feel you come on my dick,” he demanded.
A few more strong strokes was all it took for you to go limp under him as your orgasm took over. Seconds after you hit your high, Taehyung pulled out and came all over your back.
Once you were all cleaned up, Taehyung untied you and kissed your forehead.
“How was it, princess?” he asked as he stroked your hair.
“I’ve never been fucked by a beast before, but now I don’t want anything else,” you admitted before kissing his neck.
“Good. I was worried about going overboard. As I told you before, I really like getting into character,” he laughed.
“I’ve never been into roleplay but I’m willing to change for you. Oh shit, it’s late already,” you noticed the time on his alarm clock.
“Just stay the night. I don’t think the kids will care if you’re wearing sweatpants or not. I can lend you a turtleneck to cover up those hickies though,” Taehyung yawned.
“Are you sure?” you questioned.
“Yeah, I don’t mind. Be warned, I’m a cuddler,” he pulled you closer to him.
“I guess I can sleep in a little later then,” you reasoned.
“Perfect. Goodnight, princess,” he quickly kissed your lips.
“You’re sleeping like that?”
“Like what?”
“Butt naked?”
“I can put clothes on if it makes you uncomfortable. I just figured it would make things easier for tomorrow morning,” he said sleepily.
“Tomorrow morning?” that got your attention.
“You’ll see! Be patient, princess. Night night.”
Never in a million years would you have guessed that applying for a babysitting job would result in this, but you weren’t complaining.

I’m Not Angry Anymore
Rating: General Audiences
Pairing: Yagi Toshinori x Daughter!Reader
Warning(s): Shitty Parenting, Angst, Some Strong Language, (Kinda) Child Abandonment
Song: Interlude: I’m Not Angry Anymore by Paramore
Note: This is a counterpart to @kozumeizuku ‘s Twisted
“(Y/N), I’d like for you to meet Midoriya Izuku.” Your father gestured to a 4 year old with freckles and curly green hair. He looked nervous. You walked up to him with a big toothy grin on your face and held your hand out to him,
“Hi, ‘Zuku! I’m (Y/N)!” Your smile didn’t waver as you saw him creep back a little bit.
Your dad pat your head, “Midoriya here is a little shy. His classmates are not very nice to him because he’s quirkless.” You nodded your head in understanding, releasing a small “oh.”
You took a step back from the boy, “I’m sorry your classmates are meanies, Zuku. I like you, though, so don’t listen to them!”
That’s when it all started, you remember. You started to see your dad less and less after you met Midoriya Izuku. At the time, you didn’t understand why, but as you got older it became clear. The blond adult was spending time with Midoriya, training him and being a father figure to him. He used to do that with you, but you’d been replaced. 12 years later and now the two of you were strangers.
You ran up to your father when he got inside the house, a drawing in your hands. You’d drawn him and you wanted to surprise him with it. “Daddy, look!” You hadn’t even pulled the picture out from behind your back when he stopped you.
“I’m sorry, baby, but I’m about to head back out. I’ll look at it later, okay?” He ruffled your (h/c) hair and gave you one of his big smiles. You nodded sadly. You’d really wanted to show it to him right then. You whispered a soft “okay” before turning around and going to the kitchen. Normally you weren’t allowed in there and you had to ask your live-in nanny or your father to get you what you wanted but you didn’t feel like asking.
You put your drawing on top of the table used for prepping food and walked up to the fridge. That’s where you saw it -- a crude drawing of your father signed “Izuku”. In a flash of anger you grabbed your own drawing and ripped it up into tiny pieces. “(Y/N), (Y/N)! What wrong, sweetheart?” Your nanny, Saki, walked in on you in the middle of your tantrum. You wailed and held your arms out to her and she scooped you up into her comforting arms. She looked down at your ruined drawing and at the one on the fridge. Oh, she would be having a word with your father when she saw him next.
11 years had passed and you still remembered that moment. If you remembered correctly, that was the last time you’d drawn him something.
“Oh, darling, I’m sure he’s just running a little late.” “He must be stuck in traffic.” “Don’t you worry your sweet little head, he’ll be here.” “You know what your daddy says, don’t you? I am here! And he will be, alright?”
That’d been hours ago. The cooks, the maid, the butler, the nanny -- they’d all assured you that your father would make good on his promise. He’d promised to spend the day with you -- to go see a movie and get lunch. That was at 10:00 AM, it was now 6:00 PM.
You sat at the table in the kitchen, lazily moving the spoon in your chicken noodle soup around. It’d long since gotten cold. “Would you like me to heat it back up for you, little lady?” One of the cooks asked you. Mr. Yuji was nice -- he always slipped you snacks while the others weren’t looking. He’d been here since before you were born. He was wrinkly and his hair had thinned out with age. He was like a grandpa to you. “Or do you want something else?”
You pushed the bowl over to him, “No...‘m not really hungry.” You folded your arms on the table and rested the side of your head on them. Mr. Yuji put a hand to your forehead, checking your temperature.
“Your temperature seems normal. Are you sure you’re not hungry, missy?” He smoothed back your hair. You nodded silently. You were tired, sad, and disappointed. It ruined your appetite. He took the bowl off the table and poured its contents out into the sink, “Alright, well if you get hungry in the middle of the night, let me know. I’ll make you something.”
“M’kay.”
The swinging door to the kitchen opened but you didn’t bother to look at who it was. You recognized your father’s heavy footsteps, “Hey, baby. What are you...doing?” Before he could finish speaking, you hopped down from the bar stool, walked around him, and left the kitchen. As you walked away, you could hear him ask Mr. Yuji something. “Is she okay?”
You think that was when you’d stopped asking to spend time with your father. 7 years had passed and you could still feel the emotions your 11 year old self had gone through that day.
Your fists were clenched, your face towards the ceiling, and your lips pressed into a thin line. You were fighting back tears. You were tired. You were tired of this. You were tired of broken promises. You were tired of being second best. It was your 16th birthday, and your father missed it because of him. “What’s the matter, sweetie?” Your father had the nerve to ask. You clenched your jaw.
“What’s wrong?” You copied. “What’s wrong?!” You looked at him, the hot tears already running at a steady pace down your cheeks. “What’s wrong is that you missed my fucking birthday! Again! That’s 10 years in a fucking row!” You snarled. You didn’t care if you were acting like a spoiled brat.
He stood there in shock. You wiped your tears on your forearm, “What I want to know is why -- why didn’t you show up like you promised?” You had given up on him. All you wanted was a reason why. You already knew but you wanted him to say it.
“It’s Young Midoriya’s--” You cut him off with a laugh. A completely and utterly, joyless laugh.
“Just as I thought.” You scoffed. You pulled out a chair from the dining room table and plopped down on it. You were exhausted and numb, “Midoriya this, Midoriya that. It’s always about Midoriya.” You wondered if your father even knew what he was doing to you. He probably didn’t, he was so oblivious when it came to his own child.
Your father -- the oh so wonderful All Might -- walked up and took the seat next to you. “That’s not true and you know it, (Y/N).”
“That’s bullshit and you know it.” You turned in your seat to face him. “Tell me, Dad, when was the last time we spent my birthday together?”
“Well, um--” He stuttered.
“Last meal we had together? Last time you showed up to one of my award ceremonies? Last time we spent time together? Last time we had a real conversation?” You asked question after question, knowing he wouldn’t have the answer to any of them.
“(Y/N), that’s not fair--” “I’m not trying to be!”
Silence.
“When was the last time you told me you loved me?” Your voice cracked. The blond didn’t say a word. You sighed and stood up from your seat, “I’m moving out tomorrow. Don’t try to stop me -- I’ve already made up my mind.”
That was 2 years ago and you hadn’t talked with your father since.
A knock came at your door. It must’ve been one of your classmates asking for your notes again. You got up from your desk and opened the door without a second thought. “I’m not giving you my...notes. Oh, it’s you.” Standing in front of you was your father’s successor — Midoriya Izuku. You hadn’t seen much of him since your childhood.
He rubbed the back of his neck, “Can...can I come in?” You stepped aside and held the door open for him. He awkwardly stepped past you and stood around the middle of your room. “Your room. It’s nice.” Izuku complimented.
“It’s alright, I guess.” You shrugged. You had a platform bed with lots of pillows, blankets, and stuffed animals on it. A bean bag chair sat next to it. Your walls were white but there were so many posters and pictures on them you could barely see the paint anyways. Fairy lights were strung up around the room and LED clouds were hanging from your ceiling. There was a bookcase filled with, well, books. Next it was your desk — it was normal but there were knick knacks, notebooks, and too many pens spread across it.
“No, no — it’s really cool. It’s a lot more cool than my room.” He assured you. You hummed. You didn’t really need to guess what his dorm room was like.
You put your hand on your hip, “Let me guess, yours is covered top to bottom, wall to wall in my dad’s merchandise. Is that right?” A blush erupted on the younger teens face. You’d hit the nail right on the head. You laughed and clapped his shoulder. “It’s nothing to be ashamed about. You really admire him, don’t you?” You smiled.
He was nervous, you could tell. “Yeah, I guess so.” He looked away from you.
“Alright, have a seat. There’s obviously something you want to talk to me about.” You plopped down on the bean bag chair next to your bed.
Izuku sat down at your desk. “I wanted to talk to you about All Might.” He stated. You hummed and nodded your head — as to be expected.
“I honestly don’t know much about him, Izuku.” You told the truth. “He’s never really been around much for me.” Izuku cringed at your statement.
“That’s what I wanted to talk about with you.” He ruffled his own hair.
“If you’re about to apologize, don’t.”
“What?” Izuku’s green eyes met your (e/c) ones for the first time since he’s been here. “I-I don’t understand. I’m the reason he-“
“I’m going to stop you right there, Izuku.” You shift around in your bean bag. “Everything he did, was in no way your fault. They were his choices to make and he chose you over me, time and time again.” You said bluntly. “But that wasn’t your fault. Sure, for a time I did resent you but as I got older, I came to realize you had no say in how he treated me. You were just a kid and so was I. I know how much you admire him but it’s the truth when I say he’s the one at fault here. You don’t have to apologize for his actions.” You got up and walked up to him. You ruffled his hair, “I never once blamed you, Midoriya Izuku.”
Tears welled up in the curly haired teen’s virus in eyes but he quickly started to rub them away. “Geez, you’ve always been such a crybaby. I thought you would’ve grown out of that already.” You jokingly pushed his head. You’d always thought of him as a younger brother, even when you hated his guts as a child.
“Sorry, I just…” He sniffled. “I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.” You wish you’d known he was carrying all this guilt sooner — you could’ve already relieved him of the burden.
“It’s alright. I understand.”
That was a few months ago. Talking with Izuku like that, it really did help you understand why your relationship with All Might is the way it is.
“Have you talked with your father recently?” Your therapist asked after you finished recounting your childhood with her. She’d needed an updated version now that you were 18.
You shook your head, “No, but he did leave me a voicemail the other day — he asked how I was doing, talked about how he was proud of my grades, told me to make sure I eat and drink enough water.” You appreciated that he was trying, but you weren’t ready to make amends with him.
“Did you call him back?”
“No. I don’t think I’m ready to talk to him just yet. Only recently had I accepted what he’d done.” You explained to her.
She nodded, “That’s alright. It’s all a part of the process. You’ll be ready eventually, and when you do, you’ll be one step closer to leave this all behind you.” You hummed your agreement.
“Have you seen or heard anything from your brother recently?”
“You sound just like the police.” You laughed.

Fear (Part 6) - Jonathan Crane
Pairing: Jonathan Crane x (female) reader
Warnings: Language, Alcohol, Needles, Mention of Paranoia + Insomnia, Mention of sex
Summary: Jonathan meets reader’s roommate + boyfriend.
Author’s Note: Apparently I’m on a role tonight - Kelsie
Word Count: 1,913
Tumblr media
Your talk with Jonathan eased your nerves quite a bit. You ended up sleeping that night and unfortunately through all of your Wednesday classes the next day.
“What the hell,” Chris said from the doorway of your bedroom.
You rolled over sleepily in bed, still waking up.
“What?”
“Don’t you have econ today?” She said, one hand on her hip and the other holding her bright pink flip phone up to her ear. You could hear laughing coming from it.
“Mind your own business,” You groaned, throwing a pillow at her which she easily dodged, “and tell your boyfriend to fuck off,”
“She says to fuck off,” She giggled into her phone before spinning around and leaving.
“Close my door,” You yelled, but she ignored you. You slowly got up and finally realized how long you had actually slept.
“Fuck,” You mumbled under your breath. You were already behind in econ, and this definitely won’t help.
You stumbled into the living room where Chris laid on the couch, still on the phone while the TV played FRIENDS loudly. Grabbing the remote, you turned it down, quickly earning a glare from your roommate.
After grabbing a cup of now cold coffee from the kitchen, you sat down at the bulky computer in your living room to check if your econ professor emailed you about missing class. You were surprised to see an email from Jonathan.
“Y/N, I finished the serum. I can give it to you during Thursday’s class or I can drop it off tonight if you really need it -Dr. Crane,”
You didn’t feel like you needed it as much as before now that you caught up on your sleep, but you couldn’t pass up seeing your teacher crush today. You quickly crafted a response telling him that you’ll be home all night and he could swing it by when he was able to. You ended it with your address before sending it.
“Rex is coming over later,” Chris called from the couch, flipping her phone shut loudly, “Look presentable,”
You groaned loudly and sunk down in the creaky desk chair dramatically, “I’m not getting ready for your douchebag of a boyfriend,”
“Can you at least try to get along with him,” She said, turning the TV back up, “It would mean a lot to me,”
You rolled your eyes and got up from the desk quickly.
“I’m going to get ready,” You said, passing her to get back into your room, “But it’s not for him,”
-
Several hours later you were stuck in an UNO game with Chris and her boyfriend. You didn’t want to hurt Chris’ feelings by never hanging out with them, but when they were together they shared a single brain cell.
“When do you say UNO?” Rex asked, examining the large amount of cards in his hands.
“When you have one left,” You mumbled, anxiously looking back at the clock in the kitchen behind you. Jonathan said he would be dropping the serum off soon, and you didn’t want him meeting Rex.
“Draw four,” Chris said confidently, placing down a +2 card.
“Can you not read?” You asked, pointing at the card in front of her.
She slapped her face quickly. A deep blush was set in her cheeks and she had been sipping on wine all night so you knew that she was a bit tipsy, but their shared stupidity was getting on your nerves.
A loud knock came from the front door behind you and you jumped quickly out of your seat to get it.
“Is that the pizza?” Rex asked, leaning over the table obnoxiously to see.
“We didn’t order pizza, we just talked about it,” Chris laughed, pouring herself another glass of wine.
You swung the door open quickly and were face to face with the professor once again. You prayed he couldn’t see the mess happening at the dining table from the door as you awkwardly attempted to take up the frame so he couldn’t see past.
“Hey,” You said breathlessly, attempting to be casual.
“Hi..” He awkwardly held out a paper bag, “The serum is in there, you should only need one dose,”
“Thanks,” You mumbled, opening it and looking inside.
“I wasn’t able to test it on anyone,” He said, watching you cautiously, “Try to keep me updated on how it’s affecting you when you take it,”
“Is it safe?”
Before he could answer, Rex interrupted from the dining table.
“Hey, do I know you man?” He yelled obnoxiously as he leaned over the entire dining table to see the front door.
Jonathan looked past you quizzically at the scene happening inside before back down at you, confused.
“Ignore him, please,” You begged, attempting to push him out of Rex’s vision.
“Hold on,” Rex said, jumping out of his seat, “You were my Psych professor last year at GSU,”
“Ah,” Jonathan nodded quickly, ignoring your attempts to push him away from the door, “Rex, right?”
“Yea man,” Rex said, coming over to where the two of you were standing, “What are you doing here?”
“Y/N is dating him,” Chris giggled from the dining table before she quickly downed another glass of wine.
A deep blush was shared between both you and Jonathan and you quickly tried to regain control over the situation.
“He was just dropping something off,” You said quickly, “In fact, he was just leaving,”
“No man,” Rex said, grabbing Jonathans upper arm and quickly pulling him inside of your apartment, “Stay and play UNO with us,”
Jonathan looked over at you with a nervous look on his face and you shook your head quickly.
“Oh my gosh yes,” Chris slurred from the table, “We were just about to order pizza,”
“Hell yea,” Rex cheered, giving Jonathan a rough slap on his back before joining Chris back at the table.
“I’m so sorry,” You quickly reached over and readjusted Jonathans suit jacket that had gotten messed up from Rex, “You don’t have to stay if you don’t want to, they’re just obnoxious,”
“It’s okay,” He blushed as you reached up and brushed his hair out of his face, “I have some time,”
“Yay,” Chris cheered loudly, “Do you drink wine?”
-
To say you were embarrassed as an understatement. You felt horrible having Jonathan now stuck in an UNO game with tweedle dumb and tweedle dumber.
“Do you have any…” Chris narrowed her eyes at her cards as she swayed in place, “7s?”
Rex handed over a few cards, confused, “Hey, how come you get to take cards now?”
“That’s ‘Go Fish’,” You mumbled, rubbing your head which was now starting to hurt, “You don’t ask for cards in UNO, you draw them,”
Chris started giggling hysterically, “I think I drank too much,”
“You think?” You mumbled, shooting an apologetic glance over at Jonathan who just smiled back softly.
“When do you say UNO again?” Rex asked for the second time that night.
“Alright,” You slammed your cards down on the table, defeated, “I’m not playing anymore, you guys are too dumb for UNO,”
Chris continued giggling in her seat as Rex shot you an offended look.
“I’m not dumb,” He said, watching as you stood up and ushered for Jonathan to do the same, “I dropped out of school on purpose,”
“You failed 5 classes,” Chris giggled from beside him.
“We’re leaving,” You groaned, leading Jonathan back to the front door.
“I’m so sorry,” You said, quickly pulling him into the hallway outside of your apartment. The dim light above you buzzed loudly.
“It’s okay,” He smiled at you again, “I enjoy spending time with you,”
You raised your eyebrows, impressed, “Are you flirting with me Professor?”
He rolled his eyes and turned away from you awkwardly as another blush spread across his face.
“Honestly I thought you wouldn't want to have anything to do with me after I said I wouldn't help with your fear toxin,” You mumbled.
“I told you, that was mostly just an excuse to get you to go out with me,” He said, still avoiding eye contact.
“We should go on an actual date,” You suggested eagerly, stepping closer towards him, “Like out to get drinks without Rex or Chris annoying us,”
“And no drugs,” He joked, finally looking back at you.
“Okay well now it just sounds lame,”
He laughed softly and you felt your heart soar. You had never heard him laugh before. You stood shocked for a moment as he fumbled to get his phone open.
“I’m not doing anything tomorrow after class,” He said, still looking at his phone, “If you’re free then,”
“I am,” You said, still watching him closely. You wanted to kiss him at that moment, but before you got the chance he shoved his phone back in his pocket and awkwardly stepped back.
“I’ll see you tomorrow in class then?” He said, offering an awkward smile.
“Okay,” You said softly, waiting for him to at least give you a hug goodbye.
“Keep me updated with the serum,” He reminded you before turning around and quickly leaving toward the elevator.
You stood silently in front of your apartment door for a moment before going back inside, disappointed.
“Did you kiss?” Chris slurred jokingly from the dining table still.
“Did you have sex?” Rex added in, earning a weak slap on the arm from Chris.
“You guys are so fucking embarassing,” You said angirly walking back towards the table where they sat, “What the fuck is wrong with you? You can’t act normal for two seconds?”
“I think we’re fun,” Chris said, a pouty look setting into her face.
“It’s not fun,” You groaned, grabbing the paper bag with the serum before leaving towards your room, “I barely know this guy. The least you could’ve done was be sober,”
You slammed the door behind you and sunk to the ground, embarrassed about the previous events. Surely Jonathan wouldn’t ever want to come visit again. It was mortifying.
You tried to stop thinking about it and quickly pulled the serum from the paper bag to examine. It was a tiny needle with a small amount of liquid inside. Your stomach dropped as you realized you had to inject it yourself. Your night kept getting worse and worse.
You took the cap off of the needle and took a deep breath before injecting it quickly into your left arm. It was immediately painful, your whole arm warming up almost as if it was on fire. You stifled your groans by burying your face into your lap and quickly fell over into a fetal position on the floor. An instant dizziness set in and you started to wonder how the serum was actually supposed to work. There was no one time medication for paranoia or insomnia. Jonathan could’ve given you poison and you didn’t even question it. In fact, you injected it yourself. Why did you trust this man so much? You just told Chris you barely know this guy and suddenly you're injecting yourself with “serums” he perscribes?
The more you thought about it the more nervous you got. He barely told you anything about his past or where he was from. He kept it all obscure. The truth was, you didn’t know him at all. Before you could panic more, the serum overtook you with drowsiness and you passed out quickly on your bedroom floor, forgetting to set an alarm for your class the next day.

Akwbejdjsjsj um so excited about your requests being open! Okay could you please do Riko Adia x fem reader who’s more quiet, and how the team would react to her and them being together- also your writing is amazing 💕✨
I’ve never written for Aida before but this was so fun!! I really love her character ngl. I hope you’ll enjoy reading this one :) xx
Scenario: Aida Riko introducing her fem!s/o to the team
It had been a few months since you and Aida had started dating and you absolutely loved it. She was certainly more outgoing than you and you truly admired her for it; there was never an awkward silence between you two and it was so therapeutic. So it goes without saying that there was no one else to us rather spend your time with.
Aida was a busy person though. Between coaching the team and her vigorous studies, it was hard to catch a hold of her for yourself.
“You should drop by the gym after school. I could use the company,” Aida suggested as you waited in line at the canteen.
“Should I? I don’t want to be a bother,” you said hesitantly. You weren’t going to lie to yourself, the thought of being surrounded by a bunch of 6 foot tall high school boys also scared you ever so slightly.
“No, no, trust me. I’d love to have you there. If you don’t mind, you could help set up the drills and stuff too. Sound alright?”
You took a moment to think it over before nodding. “Yeah I guess it’ll be fine.”
“Really? Great!” she exclaimed as she placed a kiss on your cheek excitedly. “I can’t wait,” she beamed.
Once the school day came to an end, you walked with Aida to the gym, listening to her talk about her plans for a training camp. She opened up the doors to the gym filled with the boys who’d already begun practicing their shots on the court and you trailed in behind her.
“Ayy, Coach is here,” Kiyoshi announced in the middle of his stretching.
Everyone stopped what they were doing in that moment to turn their heads towards you two.
“Who’s that with you?” Hyuga questioned, looking over at you.
Aida nonchalantly swung her arm around your shoulders, startling you for a moment as you got dragged closer to her. “This, is my lovely partner, Y/N,” she introduced. Everyone’s eyes lit up in surprise. “Y/N’s going to be helping us out today, and if any of you bother them for even a moment I will kick you.”
They all shifted uncomfortably at the threat. It wasn’t like they were planning on bothering you, but they certainly weren’t going to do it now.
“Since when were you a lesb—“
Kagami was cut off by a nudge on his arm from Kuroko, who you hadn’t noticed until that very moment. “I didn’t know you were in a relationship, Coach. How long have you been together?” the blue haired boy asked politely as Kagami rubbed his arm with a frown on his face.
“We’re nearing in on four months now, right?” Aida looked at you to confirm.
You gave her a curt nod in response.
“Would you like to introduce yourself to the guys?” she asked, her voice so much softer with you that it had the boys’ minds blown.
“I think you already did that for me,” you muttered to her, giggling softly. Aida tried to stifle a laugh herself as she looked at you.
“Don’t you think Coach seems nicer when she’s with Y/N?” Izuki muttered to Hyuga, though it was still fairly audible to the rest of them.
“Woah I think this is the first time I’ve seen Coach this happy,” Koganei said rather loudly, snapping her out of her moment with you.
“Alright, that’s enough personal talk. Why aren’t y’all running your five laps around the court right now?” Aida narrowed her eyes at them as she placed her hands on her hips.
They all let out a groan. “Good going, Koganei,” Kagami said sarcastically as they all huddled together and began to run.
Meanwhile, Aida got her clipboard out and began to go over the schedule with you, informing you about what she wanted you to do— it wasn’t much to be honest, most of it involved you doing absolutely nothing for the next two hours.
As much as you would’ve liked to stay with your girlfriend chatting endlessly, she seemed to get into ‘coach mode’ very quickly. Wanting to be helpful, mainly out of sheer awkwardness, you did your best to help the boys out, giving them their water bottles and things whenever they needed it.
Towards the end of practice, they began to play some three-on-three matches with each other and you actually ended up awkwardly making conversation with whoever was on the bench as they rotated between subs. It was usually the boys who initiated the conversation with you, and you certainly didn’t mind that. However, you came to realise that you’d never heard Mitobe’s voice. He never spoke to you nor did you speak to him, but you strangely never felt awkward around him. He was just a very calming presence.
Meanwhile, whenever Hyuga, Izuki, Koganei or Kiyoshi were on the bench, it would be non-stop talking. Kiyoshi and Koganei would continuously ask you anything and everything about what it was like dating Aida. Most of the time you were very overwhelmed by their intensity that you had to take a few moments to process what they were trying to say, but they were very sweet with you that you didn’t feel too pressurised. Hyuga, too, was also very curious about what your relationship with Aida might be like, though he was much less in your face compared to the other two.
Izuki wanted to tell you all his jokes and you felt like you couldn’t refuse him, so you just listened. He had some pretty good ones in there that got you to laugh quite hard. Sometimes Aida would hear your snickering and she’d get distracted for a moment as she smiled at you gently, softening up for a moment as she watched you having fun before directing her attention back to the games.
Tsuchida, Furihata, Kawahara and Fukuda were generally nice people to be around. They’d sometimes try to talk to you about school or something general but they were very respectful and didn’t want to pry with questions about your relationship.
For the most part, Kuroko was the same. He was good at holding a conversation and he was polite about all his questions regarding your relationship. The softness of his voice made you feel more comfortable talking to him because it gave you the feeling that he was similar to you in that you were both generally quiet. By the end of it all you probably ended up bonding with him the most.
Meanwhile, Kagami was just a mess when it came to trying to talk to you. He was much too focused on practice to try and talk to you, but when he did feel like casually talking to you here and there, the conversation would lead nowhere. So for the most part, he opted to just sit in silence and listen to others talk to you as a way of getting to know you better.
Finally the practice came to an end. Once things were all cleaned up and put away, you prepared yourself to leave with Aida. “Good work today everyone,” she announced as she casually took your hand in hers. “Y/N and I are heading out. See you tomorrow!”
“Thanks Coach, see you tomorrow,” they all replied one by one.
“Aww look they’re holding hands!” Kiyoshi called out.
“Awww,” Izuki, Koganei and Hyuga cooed, gaining a glare from Aida as you two walked out of the gym, with you holding back an embarrassed laugh.
“Well, did you like it?” Aida asked you once you were alone.
“Yeah, it was pretty fun. They’re all quite... unique.”
Aida laughed, “Yeah that’s one way to put it. I’m glad you liked it. You should join in more.”
“I wouldn’t mind, I just don’t know how many more questions about our relationship I can answer at this point,” you joked.
“Eh, don’t worry about that. Just say the word and I’ll get them to zip it,” Aida said confidently.
She was really happy that you seemed to fit in well with the team though. For a moment she was worried that springing something up like this to a bunch of teenage boys would cause a lot of chaos and discomfort, but she was pleasantly surprised by how well they seemed to take it. If anything, they seemed excited and thrilled by the news.
For the rest of the night, Aida wore a big smile on her face. How could she not? She was walking hand in hand with the person she loved, after coaching a team of people who seemed to be very considerate of her feelings. She was the happiest person in the world that evening. And seeing her that happy only made your heart fill with joy.

Could I request main 6 when mc crawls onto their lap for a cuddle?
Yes!! I live for this fluff 🥺💖
Asra
he’s sitting on the couch in your apartment when you walk in the door, dripping wet from the sudden rainstorm that had hit just as you left the market
”You’re back! Did you get caught in the rain again?” He smiles and sets the book he was reading aside
you decide not to answer, a mischievous glint appears in your eyes as you walk over to the couch and plop down onto Asra’s lap
”Ahh, you’re all wet!” he complains as you shake your hair in his general direction, both of you bursting into laughter
he casts a wordless drying spell on you as his arms snake around your waist, pulling you in for a gentle kiss that seems to dispel the last of the cold you were feeling from the rain
”I missed you.” Asra says, resting his head into the crook of your shoulder
”I just went to the market, silly, you’re the one who goes on trips.” Your voice taking on a slightly scolding tone
”Next time you’re coming with me.” He promises, pressing a kiss to the top of your head
you and Asra spend the rest of the afternoon cuddling on the couch and eating the pumpkin bread you’d stowed safely in your bag, talking about all the places you want to go together
Julian
it’s late and Julian’s still in his office writing notes in a medical book, he’s so focused that he doesn’t even notice you standing in the doorway
you know if you don’t force him to get some sleep he’ll work all night and show up to the clinic tomorrow morning hyped up on caffeine that can’t hide how tired he really is
”Julian, it’s late. You need to get some sleep.” You say, stepping fully into the dimly lit room
he’s still so engrossed in his work that he doesn’t hear you so you walk over to him and take a seat in his lap, facing towards him with your arms wrapped around his shoulders
”Oh, uh, hello my dear” His arms reach out to stabilize you, a blush already coloring his face -“Did you um, need something? That is to say- um, that I’m not unhappy to see you here, just surprised..” he babbles, stopping abruptly when you press a kiss to his collarbone
”It’s past midnight darling, you need to get some rest.” You croon, using your most persuasive tone as your arms tighten around him
”Oh, is it already that late? I’m sorry my love, I lost track of the time.” He pulls you closer in response and you sit there for a few minutes holding each other, one of his hands moves to play with your hair
”Come on, time for bed.” You say after a while, noticing the way his breathing is slowing as he cuddles you
he stands up with a sleepy laugh, arms going to support you as you wrap your legs around him so that he’s carrying you into the bedroom
”I promise I’ll try to sleep if you promise to keep holding me.” He smiles wistfully as he pulls off his boots
”I wouldn’t dream of letting go.”
Nadia
it’s been a long day of meetings and you can tell Nadia is tired
for the past hour she’s been listening to Consul Valerius drone on about wine imports and she looks like she has a headache coming on
finally she dismisses him, “That’s quite enough for today, Consul.” and Valerius leaves in a huff, giving you a haughty look as he passes by
the two of you are left alone in the parlor and her eyes close with a wince as the headache comes on, you quickly get up from your seat to sit closer to her
”Nadi,” you say, reaching a hand out to rub her shoulder gently, “Can I help? Do you want me to call for some water?”
”Consul Valerius always manages to leave me with a headache.” She says disdainfully. “I shall be fine.”
you’re not so sure, maybe canceling her last meeting of the day would be a good decision, she looks like she needs to rest
before you can open your mouth to suggest it she opens her eyes and regards you with a slight smile “Come here, your presence always makes me feel better.” she pulls you gently into her lap to sit sideways against her
she leans into you and rests her head on your shoulder, you take a deep breath and smell the soothing lavender scent that follows wherever Nadia goes
you reach up to gently rest a hand on her temple, bringing a bit of magic to your hands to try to release the tension she’s feeling
she relaxes further into you, letting out a contented sigh as you begin to ease her headache
you sit cradled in her lap for a while in comfortable silence before she sighs and says “Perhaps we should retire early this afternoon, I think we’re both in need of a nap.”
Muriel
you’re on your way to Muriel’s hut, soaking in the last bit of sunlight as you walk the now familiar path through the forest
as you approach the hut you’re nearly knocked over by a grey blur pressing against the back of your legs
”Inanna! Did you come to greet me?” you pat her head and watch as she trots ahead, leading you the last of the way to the hut
Muriel’s waiting for you at the door, holding it open for you with his usual gruff expression
”Muriel, did you send Inanna to get me?” you smile
”I just wanted to make sure you got here safely, I heard you coming.” He says quietly, face spreading into a blush as he refuses to meet your eyes
”That was very sweet of you.” you wrap your arms around him in a hug and feel him stiffen awkwardly for a second before returning the hug, even after the dozens of hugs you must’ve given him by now he still reacts the same way every time
he moves across the room to tend the fire and you follow, taking a seat close to the fire to warm your cold hands after the walk
”Come and sit by me!” you pat the ground next to you as Muriel steps away from the fire
he stares at you for a second and you wonder if he’s planning to stand there for the rest of the night so you pat the spot next to you again, hoping he’ll take the very obvious hint
finally he sits next to you, a lot further away than you had expected and you sigh- time to take matters into your own hands
you scooch over to him and crawl into his lap, watching as his eyes widen in surprise and the blush, which hadn’t really left his face since he’d opened the door for you, deepens
”I was cold over there by myself.” You smile up at him as his hands move tentatively towards your waist, you snuggle against him and his hands finally reach out to hold you closer
both of you release a breath you’d been holding at the same time and you laugh, his mouth quirking up into the hint of a smile as he holds you
Portia
you’ve just finished at the shop for the day and are making the trek up to the palace to visit Portia
the trip is long but luckily you know all of the shortcuts and you enter the palace gardens just as the sun is beginning to set
as you walk through the gardens headed to Portia’s cottage you spot a flash of red hair through the trees and find Portia sitting with her back turned to you
she seems to be reading something and doesn’t notice as you round the corner to approach her
”Portia!” You say, launching yourself directly into her lap
her hands reach out around you automatically and she bursts into surprised laughter, “Well hello there!”
”Sorry to interrupt your reading,”  you pick up the book you’d hastily knocked aside and see that it's about garden pest control
”It’s ok! I didn’t want to read that book anyway,” she presses a kiss to the top of your head, “It was boring.”
”And I’m more interesting?” you tease
”Of course you are!” she gushes, “Did you walk all this way to see me?”
”I missed you.” you say, watching her blush
”I missed you more!” she smiles and you lean in to press kisses across her freckled face
you spend the rest of the sunset cuddling in the garden before it gets too cold and you both decide to move the cuddle session indoors
Lucio
he’s been in a meeting all afternoon and it’s dragging so long that you’re trying to resist the urge to crack the meeting room door open and peak through to see what’s taking so long
finally you hear the door to the room you share with him opening and he walks in, the bored expression on his face turning into a grin at the sight of you
”You’re back!” you say from your spot on the couch where you’ve been trying, and failing, to focus on a new spell you’re learning
”Ugghhh I thought they’d never stop talking.” He complains, pulling off his coat as he shuts the door behind him
he plops down on the couch next to you and presses a kiss to your forehead “You’re a sight for sore eyes.”
”I’m glad you’re back, I almost went to rescue you.” you joke as his hands reach out to you, pulling you into his lap
”You’d risk a boring meeting to rescue me?” he grins as he nuzzles into your shoulder
”Of course” you relax into him, “I’d follow you anywhere.”
he presses another kiss to your forehead and you suppress a giggle at the starry-eyed expression on his face, any hint of affection makes him turn to putty in your hands
”Next time I’m bringing you with me, I don’t think I can make it through another meeting about proper aqueduct spacing unless you’re with me” he brings a hand up to hold the side of your face
”I’ll gladly come with you, but I think next time I’ll need my own chair.” you think back to the last meeting you’d attended where Lucio had abruptly pulled you onto his lap in front of all of the new courtiers, it wasn’t that you’d minded- you just didn’t want anyone to feel uncomfortable by his very brazen public displays of affection
”We’ll see about that.” He says, pulling you into a (mostly) sweet kiss

Christmas With You
Tumblr media
@just-a-belgian-girl’s request: okay so bc you said i could send in a christmas request: can i request a fic for either remus or sirius (your pick) where reader learns he doesn’t have anyone to go home for christmas to? like, the other marauders don’t know that and they’ve left already, and he’s left all alone. so reader invites him to come spend christmas with her and her family. he accepts, and her family is just so accepting and loving bc both boys definitely deserve it and cute fluffy ending?
Walking into the Great Hall, you see Sirius picking glumly at his food. The Hall was relatively empty because everyone had gone home for christmas. You, sirius and two third year hufflepuffs were the only ones left at the school.
You sit down on the bench next to him in silence. A few minutes crawl by, you grow extremely bored of it. “Wrackspurt got your tongue?” you say out of the blue. He finally looks at you, eyes glittering in amusement. “Wrack-what?” You wave away the question, answering with one of your own.
“Why are you alone? Where are the rest of the boys?”
He sighed and went back to picking at his food. “They had to go home. Their families wanted them to spend some time at home.”
“Oh.” You scratch the back of your neck awkwardly and open your mouth to say something, before Sirius speaks over you. “Tell me, why aren’t you at home?” You laugh aloud at that.
“I thought I wasn’t going home this christmas, so I didn’t catch the train. Turns out I am, so my parents had to arrange with Dumbledore for another one.”
Sirius stares at you intently before asking another question. “What time does your train leave?” “11am tomorrow.” He nods his head in understanding, offering you some of his untouched plate. Picking up a small piece of toast you pop it into your mouth. “Say” You speak through the food in your mouth. Sirius takes one look at you and makes a revolted face. You laugh and quickly swallow before continuing where you left off.
“My family has a spare bedroom, if you want to come over for christmas! They wouldn’t mind!” Sirius’ face lights up in poorly contained excitement. “Really?! You mean it?” He grabs your hand, bouncing up and down in his seat, making you laugh. “I gotta warn you though, my family can be very crazy and loud.”
...
The two of you stood outside Hogsmeade station, waiting for the train. Sirius was feeling more nervous than he cared to admit. ‘What if her family didn’t like him? What if he messed everything up? What if -’ “Hey!” You say, interrupting his thoughts, “feeling nervous?”
He smiles weakly, grateful for the distraction. “Just a little bit.” “Don’t worry” You give him a friendly shove, “I’m sure my family’s gonna love you.”
By the time the train rolled up, you were frozen to the bone. Running onto the train, you instantly sigh with relief when the hot air hits you. Sirius follows behind, looking green. “Who knew the guy who has won Gryffindor the Quidditch Cup for the last 6 years would be nervous to meet a girls family?”
He looks away, pouting “Shut up..” he mumbles.
Shaking your head, you take him by the hand, dragging him the compartment you and your friends normally sit in. “Did you bring anything to do?” You inquire. “It’s gonna be a long 8 hours.” He spreads himself out on the seat opposite you. “I figured I would just sleep most of it.” You pull out your book and settle into your seat. “You do that then.”
Even though Sirius said he was going to sleep, he goaded you into playing a few games of chess. Needless to say, he was an extremely sore loser. “You cheated. Go to jail.” “But that's Monopoly” “Yeah, there’s a jail now. Go to it.” Then he flipped the board. You discontinued playing.
Halfway through the ride, He decided to run up and down the train to stretch. Of course fell over and almost broke his arm. So he just lay there for the rest of the way and slept.
When the train pulled into Kings Cross Station, you stepped on him to wake him up. He tried to grab your foot to pull you down, but he just succeeded in injuring his hand even more. He finally got up, complaining.
As soon as you stepped off the train you felt almost every bone in your body crack. “Try and sound more like a glowstick there love.” Sirius remarked, walking next to you. You just stared him down and cracked your neck.
You turn away before he could retaliate, looking around for your parents. They were in the corner, looking as nervous as the first day they brought you here. “Mum! Dad!” You run up to them, wrapping them in a big hug. You turn back to Sirius and grab his hand to pull him closer. “This is my friend Sirius, he didn’t have anyone to go home to so I brought him home with me.”
Sirius felt even more nervous than before, struggling to meet their eyes. When he did look up, he found them smiling broadly at him. Your mum stuck out her hand to Sirius “I’m Marie Deverport but please just call me Marie, my husband is Samuel.” Sirius hesitantly shook it, absolutely filled with butterflies.
“We’re happy you’re spending Christmas with us! Though, we would’ve liked a little more of a heads up before.” She looked pointedly at their daughter, who hung her head in shame. “But now matter now” Samuel said, waving you and Sirius through the barrier. “Let’s get home.”
When you arrived at your house, Sirius started staring at it in wonder. “It’s so small… small and cosy-looking.” He rushed up the drive, eager to investigate. As soon as it opened, three little kids ran out, screaming at the top of their lungs. They surrounded you, smothering you in hugs and kisses. They kept glancing back at Sirius, whispering stuff which you just laugh off, blushing a little.
Marie let Sirius into the house, telling Y/n to show him around. You walk up to him, hair frazzled and panting a little. “Sorry, my siblings are a handful.” He smiles down at you “I love them.” You smile back at him and lead him up the stairs to his room.
You lean against the doorframe, as he inspects his room. “Christmas Day is a few days. It’s gonna be hectic around here. Sorry about that.” He turns to wink at you “You know I thrive on chaos” you laugh and shove yourself off the frame. “I’ll leave you to unpack now.”
...
Sirius was loving every minute he spent here. From making burning gingerbread cookies, to showing your siblings how to skate. He wished he could stay in this Christmas forever.
Soon, Christmas Day came. Sirius woke up to you frantically dancing around his room singing ‘it’s Christmas’ all in one note. Once he was awake enough for you, you dragged him down to the tree where the two of you and your siblings covered the floor with wrapping paper.
He was overwhelmed by the gifts he got from both his Hogwarts friends and your family. He stood up and asked if he could stand outside for a bit. Outside he drank in the fridged air. Eyes closed, face tilted up towards the cloudy sky. The snowflakes tickled his face, but he didn’t care.
Yeah sure, he had the boys. He had Hogwarts. He had Potter Manor. But never in a million years did he think that a small, mostly muggle family would accept him. Someone who’s family had been killing their kind for centuries. These last few weeks had been so calm and simple for him. For the first time in his life, he lived without magic and saw the beauty in it.
He heard the front door and close softly from behind him. He hastily wiped off the few tears he had on his cheeks. You walked up to stand next to him in the falling snow.
“You okay Siri?” “Yeah, just… overwhelmed.” You snort a little “Overwhelmed by what?” “Just how a simple muggle family can accept me, someone who has come from the longest line of dark wizards and witches.” “Yeah, but you’re not them Sirius.” “I know.” “So stop thinking you are and Just be Sirius. No pure-blood, no Black. Just one of the infamous Marauders.”
The words cut deep, making him emotional again. He looked at you, the snow was in your hair and caught in your eyelashes. You looked ethereal. He blushed a little. When did you start looking this beautiful?
He opened his mouth to say something to distract himself, but you beat him to it. “Let’s go inside now yeah? I don't want to catch a cold and I want you to enjoy the rest of Christmas with me.”

Confessions
Marcus Moreno x Female Reader
Summary - You and Marcus finally confront your feelings for one another
You and Marcus had worked together for a while now. At first, it was a strictly work relationship where all your discussions were about Heroics meetings and training sessions. It started to move into a friendship when you found yourself wanting to see him more. You would go out of your way to bring contracts to him that had to be signed rather than have your assistant do it. The both of you would spend five or ten minutes talking about what you had been up to that weekend or the new Netflix show you were both watching.
Marcus had noticed the change too. He found himself no longer taking his lunch alone in his office but hoping that when he went to the break room instead you would be there too. Now you would spend lunch together almost every day.
You tried to keep your feelings to strictly friendly in nature, telling yourself you just cared how his date at the weekend went because you wanted him to be happy and not because you were jealous.
“So, are you going on a second date then?” you asked, playing about with the lunch that sat in front of you. Marcus’s mum had made some soup the night before and he brought in an extra portion for you to try, telling you he thought you would like it.
“Yeah, she asked if I wanted to go for dinner tomorrow,” he replied with a sigh.
“Don’t sound to excited,” you teased with a laugh.
“No, no, I am… I think,” he said, “when I first started dating again I just thought I had been out of the game for too long but now, I’m not so sure.”
You didn’t enjoy giving him dating advice but you didn’t like seeing him anything other than happy even more so. You took in a deep breath before replying.
“Going on a second date can’t hurt,” you said with a smile, “if you don’t want to then you can cancel but if you’re not sure, what harm will it do? Plus, excuse to go out and have some nice food.”
Marcus smiled and nodded before finishing the rest of his lunch. He was so comfortable talking to you he wanted to spend all day doing it. Talking about everything and anything. He can’t lie to himself and pretend that he didn’t think about asking you out on a date. In fact, he thought about it every day. But you had never shown an interest in him like that. You were friends with him now and he treasured that friendship. He didn’t want to ruin it by crossing a line that you didn’t show any signs of wanting him to cross.
After lunch you both went back to your own offices and worked the afternoon away. A contract came down on your desk that Marcus had to sign and so once you finished what you were doing you took it over to him.
You knocked on the door and as he held his phone up to his ear gave you a smile and waved you in.
“No, it’s okay! Have a safe flight,” Marcus said before hanging up the phone and sighing.
“Everything okay?” you asked as you placed the contract down on his desk with a pen.
“That was Missy’s babysitter. She’s had to leave town for the weekend so can’t come over tomorrow. Maybe its a sign,” he said as he signed.
“I can come over if you want?” you offered.
You had met Missy plenty of times before and had stayed with her for a few hours while Marcus had a last minute meeting to go to.
“Are you sure? You don’t have any plans,” he asked.
“None. My weekends aren’t as in demand for dates as yours Mr Moreno,” you said teasingly.
He smiled at you but it wasn’t quite reaching his eyes before nodding.
“Thank you,” he said, “I’ll give you a text tomorrow?”
“Sounds good, see you then,” you said before leaving his office.
———-
The next day Marcus sent you a text letting him know his date was at 6 and you could come over any time before 5:30. You began to worry you had made the wrong choice offering to watch Missy as he went on a date. It was one thing listening to him talk about his dating life and maybe offering a little advice but now you were helping him. You shook your head trying to rid the jealous feeling but you couldn’t help it. You wished more than anything that you were the one going on the date with him tonight.
You arrived at his house around quarter past 5 and took a minute to calm your breathing before going up to the door. You knocked and tried to put on a smile before Marcus answered the door.
He looked as handsome as ever. Smart trousers and a nice shirt that wasn’t buttoned all the way up. His hair wasn’t as smart as it was for work but still styled and he was without his glasses.
“Hi,” he said with a smile, opening the door wider to let you in.
“Hi back,” you said.
“Missy has had dinner. She is just in watching TV,” he said, tilting his head towards the family room, “I shouldn’t be out too late.”
“It’s fine, I don’t have anywhere to be,” you said, putting your hands in your pockets as you suddenly felt uncomfortable, “you look good, by the way. Lucky lady.”
You began to regret your comment before his cheeks flushed in response. He gave a shy smile before nodding towards you.
“You look good too,” he said quietly.
There was now a silence over you as you both stood awkwardly in the hall before Missy walked out.
“Hi,” she said with a big smile, coming over to give you a hug, “I found a film for us to watch already.”
You laughed and softly squeezed a hug back before looking back to Marcus. He was watching you both, a small but real smile on his face as he took in the sight before him.
He looked at the clock and reaching for his jacket told you that he better get going. He leaned down to give Missy a hug, lifting her slightly from the ground, and before thinking about it stood up and give the side of your cheek a kiss. His cheeks flushed with pink again before walking out of the door.
Missy already had your hand in hers and was dragging you towards the kitchen to get some snacks for the “girls movie night” as she was calling it, which made you smile. You noticed that Marcus had left some snacks on the kitchen counter and it contained your favourite sweets and crisps that you had mentioned to him once before. You smiled as you grabbed them and a few bowls to pour some out before moving to the couch.
Missy had the movie already set up and ready to go, so once you were both comfortable under the blanket she pressed play. She spoke during the film, telling you what else that actor had been in and commenting on what was going on, but you weren’t really paying much attention to the film in front of you.
You were thinking about Marcus on his date. He looked amazing, he always does, and he is so perfect in every way that theres no way his date wouldn’t be falling for him like you so obviously had.
By the time the movie finished it was still early enough and so you and Missy decided to watch the sequel as well.
———-
Marcus couldn’t concentrate on his date. She was lovely but he couldn’t help but think about the woman who was back at home. He kept wondering what you were doing and what you were thinking about. There had been something between you both before he left this evening, surely he wasn’t the only one who felt that?
———
Before the end of the second film, Missy was already starting to fall asleep, so you stopped it to walk her half-asleep self upstairs. You made sure she had brushed her teeth and was ready for bed before getting her to climb into bed. You went back downstairs and cleared up the small mess of bowls and glasses before finding something on TV to watch for the rest of the night. You found yourself thinking of Marcus again. Would he give his date a kiss at the end of the night? You couldn’t help the wave of jealousy that was washing over you now. The only thing that put a stop to these thoughts was the sleep that eventually took over your body as you fell into a sleep curled up on the couch.
Marcus arrived home not that much later. He drove his date home and found himself getting more excited to get home and see you than he had on his drive to the date tonight. When he pulled up outside her house she seemed like she was going to lean in for a kiss before Marcus stopped her. He told her that he had a good time but didn’t think this was going anywhere. She took it well, her ego not seeming to be too damaged by the rejected kiss, and once she was safely inside Marcus found himself happily singing along to the radio.
The house was quiet when he entered and as he followed the light of the TV from the living room he found you curled up into the corner of the couch, a blanket draped over you, and your eyebrows furrowed. He felt a warmth run through his chest and he knew that his heart wasn’t his own any more. It belonged to you. As he carefully sat down next to you he wondered what you were dreaming about. He almost didn’t want to wake you but after a moment reached out to gently shake your arm while saying your name.
“Hey, its just me,” he said quietly as you began to wake up.
“Marcus?” you said still half asleep as you sat up, “how was the date?”
He sighed leaning back into the couch, “I told her that I thought it best not to go on a third date.”
“So not the best then,” you laughed slightly.
“I just, I think I’m just going for the wrong ones,” he said quietly. He had thought the whole way home about whether to tell you that he was feeling more for you than just a friendship and while he decided he would, now he was faced with you he didn’t know if he could say the words.
“Well, you’ll know when its the right one,” you said, moving closer to give his arm a squeeze, “anyone would be lucky to have you Marcus. You’re so smart, and kind, and not to mention handsome…”
As you trailed off your eyes moved from his to his lips. You didn’t know if not being fully awake yet made you more confident but you found yourself leaning in slightly. Just as you were about to stop, Marcus started to lean in too.
You don’t know who made the first move but it didn’t matter. Your lips met in a soft kiss, with your hand still on his arm and his hand now resting on your thigh. You pulled away and your foreheads rested against one another’s.
“Wow,” Marcus said with a smile.
“Yeah,” you giggled back.
You both sat up straighter, looking at one another in the eye and not sure who should speak first. Marcus moved to take your hands in his.
“I have to admit, I’ve thought about what it would be like to do that for a while now,” he said, rubbing his thumb over the back of your hand.
“I have too,” you said, giving his hands a squeeze of reassurance, “how did it match up?”
“Better than I could have imagined,” he sighed contently, while looking down at your lips, “can I kiss you again?”
“Please,” you said quietly with a smile and you both moved in for a kiss slightly more desperate than the first. It was still gentle as his hands let yours go to cup your face and you rested yours on his arms, but there was more to it now.
When you eventually broke away neither of you could stop the smiles that were on your faces.
“So… do you maybe want to go on a date sometime?” Marcus said with a laugh.
“I would love that, Marcus,” you said laughing back.
“Next weekend?"
“Its a date.”
You stood and started to fold the blanket that had been draped over your lap and reached for your jacket. Marcus walked you out to the door, asking you to let him know when you got home, and as you stood outside you both waited for a moment.
“Can I give you a call tomorrow,” he asked shy now.
“You can indeed,” you said with a smile.
Marcus’s hand found yours and he pulled you in gently, placing another soft kiss to yours lips.
“Just needed one more.”
You smiled and said goodbye before walking to your car. Marcus waited at the door, watching as you got in and started the engine, the both of you giving a wave before you drove off, and he waited until you were just out of sight before walking back inside.
He found himself smiling more than usual as he got ready for bed that night, still thinking about how your lips felt against his and how next weekend he finally would get to take you out on a date he had been dreaming of for a while now.

Take Two
A Happiest Season Abby x Riley fic (2.4k, T)
It had been one year since Abby had left. One year since they’d called it quits. One year since their engagement was over.
And now it was Christmas time again, only this time Abby was more alone than ever.
She’d been on a few dates since they’d broken up, but no one had stuck around. Probably more her fault than theirs. It had been good to get back out there, but it still hurt to remember how things with Harper had ended.
It was a pretty big shock at the time, but looking back it had been a long time coming. Abby and Harper were on different paths and it just wouldn't have worked, no matter how much they loved each other.
“It’s not you,” Harper had insisted. “It’s me, and I’m so sorry.”
That was one of the last things Harper said to her.
They’d been talking wedding plans that morning and by evening Abby was packing her bags.
Harper had been so desperate to make her happy since they got engaged, but her constantly bending over backward wasn’t what Abby needed, and it was stressing Harper out. Neither of them was their best self together, not anymore. Rather than bringing them closer, in the end, that Christmas with the Caldwells had exposed too many rifts in the relationship to salvage.

“I want you to be happy without trying so hard to satisfy the idea of me in your head. You’re such an amazing person—“ Abby had started sobbing here, “—but I can't give you what you need either.”
She’d moved out that night. Harper hadn’t accepted the breakup at first despite sort of initiating it. The conversation had lasted for hours, but eventually, she acknowledged the inevitable and left Abby alone for a few hours to pack. John, thankfully just a text away, had helped her drive everything over to his place.
It had been the second-worst night of Abby’s life.
She’d moved to Philadelphia two months later. She’d grown up there, technically, but without her parents, it didn’t really feel like coming home. New neighborhood, new apartment, new job. If that wasn’t proof she could get over it, what was? But when the holiday season came around again a lot of memories, once happy, now painful, resurfaced.
Waking up alone on Christmas Eve that year, in a word, sucked.
Abby was awake at 6:30 am for some reason. She checked her phone. She’d missed two non-emergency texts from John last night after she’d taken melatonin and passed out. He was definitely still sleeping; she’d text him back later.
She made a pot of coffee and stood in the kitchen in her pajamas wondering what she was going to do to keep herself occupied all day. John, who was living with his boyfriend in New York now, had invited her to stay the night and spend Christmas with them, but Abby wasn't sure if she was feeling up to it. She kinda wanted to sit the holiday out completely this year. She opened her phone and jumped aimlessly between the same three apps, then finally forced herself to take a shower.
At noon she decided to get dressed and go for a walk. That ought to keep her distracted enough. She put on jeans, thick socks, and her warmest sweater under her coat and started wandering.
There was nothing quite like Philly at Christmas. Still brash, loud, and occasionally vulgar but now decked to the nines with tinsel. She was glad to have new haunts to discover along with revisiting old haunts.
The snow from the previous day had turned to slush by the time the sun was at its peak, but that didn’t stop the kids in her neighborhood from spilling out into the streets to play football and tag under the grey sky. She waved at her upstairs neighbors and made a mental note to try and get to know them a little better in the new year.
It was a nice enough day. Maybe she’d head to Fairmount Park. Wherever she ended up there were sure to be plenty of frantic people coming to and fro, finishing last-minute Christmas shopping.
A wave of mixed emotions washed over her as she passed by a jeweler. Harper had given back the ring, of course. It was with John for safekeeping. Abby couldn’t return it, but it felt really weird to have it at her new place. Fresh start and all. Maybe someday she’d be ready to sell it. For now, she didn’t want to think about it.
She continued on at a brisk pace, stopping at a street cart for a lunch of falafel which she ate standing over a trash can, then continuing on.
It was after four o’clock by the time she realized how far she’d walked. Her hands had grown pretty chapped, she should probably go inside for a minute. There was a bar up ahead that looked open, and she could definitely use a drink.
It was fairly empty when she entered which made her instantly relax. She sidled up the bar and took a seat, rubbing her hands to warm them.
“Hey.” There was one bartender working, a curly-haired woman wearing a bandana headband, fitted flannel, and impeccable winged eyeliner like some kind of femme Luke Danes. “What can I get for you?”
“Vodka tonic?”
“Not feeling the Christmas spirit today, huh?” the bartender asked, grabbing the well vodka and rimming a glass with a wedge of lemon.
“Not really.”
“Yeah me neither. Anyway, name’s Gem,” the woman said, setting the cocktail down with a gentle tap. “Yell if you need anything.”
She smiled and walked to the far corner of the bar, a towel draped over her shoulder. A tall redhead and a petite girl with shoulder lengths locs raised their glasses at her.
Even if Abby wasn’t feeling it today, she’d picked a good spot.
She’d just started to feel the effects of the booze when she heard a familiar voice.
“Hey, I thought that was you.”
Startled, Abby nearly dropped her drink.
Riley, Harper’s Riley, slid onto the stool next to her.
“Hey!” Abby said, “What are you doing here?”
“Nice to see you too,” Riley laughed.
“Yeah, I mean—great, great to see you.” Abby couldn’t help from grinning. She probably looked like an idiot but she didn’t care.
“You look good,” Riley said, subtly sweeping her eyes up and down in an appreciative manner.
“Thanks, thanks.” Abby was glad she’d foregone the beanie with the hole in it. “You look good too.”
She really did. Her hair was a little shorter now, though it still framed her face perfectly. Otherwise, she looked exactly the same as when they’d met two years ago. She was wearing a black mock neck sweater and a pair of perfectly tailored wool pants. Her boots had a slight heel, not too high to be practical in an East Coast winter. The hem of her sweater pulled up a little as Riley leaned over the bar, exposing just a sliver of skin. Abby tried not to stare too obviously while she ordered a drink.
“I moved to Philly last month, to answer your question,” Riley said. “Got a fellowship at Kensington, I start in a week.”
“Oh, cool. Congrats, that’s awesome.”
“Yeah, thanks,” Riley took a sip, glancing over at Abby in a way that made her face grow slightly warm. “What have you been up to?”
“Finished the doctorate and got a job as a curator at the PMA. It’s going well. I mean, relatively.”
“Well, look at you!” Riley raised her glass. “Doctor.”
“Doctor,” Abby echoed, laughing, as she knocked her glass against Riley’s.
“Glad to hear that.” Riley took another sip of her drink and paused, mouth pulling to one side awkwardly for just a second.
Abby knew the question that was coming.
“So,” Riley was looking straight ahead into the mirror behind the bar, “how’s Harper?”
Abby grimaced.
Riley’s eyes widened. “Oh, shit…”
“It’s ok! It’s ok,” Abby could feel herself overcorrecting. “It’s been about a year. But yeah, we’re not together anymore.”
“I’m really really sorry, Abby.”
“It’s fine, really,” Abby shrugged. “I mean, if anyone knows how I feel, it’s you.”
Riley exhaled and leaned over the bar, her elbow just barely touching Abby’s. “Yeah, that’s definitely true.”
“So what are you doing in a random bar on Christmas Eve anyway?” Abby asked, ready to change the subject.
“I live up the street, actually. I’m heading to Pittsburgh to see family tomorrow, but that’s going to feel like work, so today I just wanted to relax.”
“Totally,” Abby said, watching as a party of college aged kids spilled in from the street and headed to the high top tables towards the back of the bar. “I’m just taking it easy today, too.”
“Big plans tomorrow?”
“Might see John. I think you met him…when we met.”
“Yeah, I remember John. How’s he doing?”
“He’s really good. Thinks I need to get out more, but otherwise he’s very happy.”
Riley laughed. “I’ve been out exactly three times—wait, no, this makes it four—since I moved here in November so clearly I have no idea what that’s about.”
“You liking Philly so far?”
“Yeah, I do. I mean, don’t get me wrong it’s weird as fuck, but it’s got some really great people. The doctors I work with are whatever, but this kind of place has a good vibe.”
She smiled at Gem, who was rolling her eyes as she made Long Island Iced Teas for the group at the high tops.
“You two know each other?” Abby asked, internally cringing at how un-cool about it she sounded.
“I’ve been here three of the four times I’ve been out, so you could say that,” Riley said. “Nice people usually.”
Gem dropped off the tray of Long Islands and brought Abby and Riley another round.
“They tried to order mojitos,” she sighed, rolling her eyes.
“Fucking kids,” Abby said. Riley laughed. That felt good.
Another large group came in, middle-aged couples this time. It had grown dark outside, it must be after five by now.
They sat in silence for a few minutes, listening to the conversations happening around them. Old friends were reuniting to the right and left of them, the chatter that filled the air was starting to make Abby feel a little claustrophobic. She shifted towards the edge of her seat, tapping one foot nervously against the floor.
“Hey, do you want to get out of here?” Riley asked, raising her hand to catch Gem’s attention. “It’s getting a little crowded.”
“Yeah, that sounds nice,” Abby said, relieved. “I’m just gonna run to the restroom.”
She threw a slightly crumpled pile of bills—mostly fives—on the bar and made her way to the back.
By some good luck, the bathroom was free with no line. The space was cramped and not overly clean, and the small black and white tiles that covered the lower half of the walls created a frantic pattern that did nothing to help Abby’s nerves. She exhaled a deep breath, fixed on her own gaze staring back at her from the mirror.
You’re fine. You’re just hanging out with a girl. A friend, even. Stop being so fucking nervous.
She rolled her eyes, annoyed at her own pep talk, then made her way back to the bar.
Riley was waiting with her hat on, hands thrust deep into the pockets of her dark green coat. Her face broke into a smile when she saw Abby returning.
“Anywhere in particular you want to go?” Abby asked.
“Not really,” Riley said casually. “Lead the way.”
“You got it,” Abby said, and Riley followed her outside.
The air was brisk, and snow had just started to fall as they left. There were Christmas lights everywhere, garlands wrapped around lampposts, a tree decked to the nines in nearly every window.
“Philly really gets in the holiday season, huh?” Riley asked dryly, then pointed up at a stuffed orange mascot that hung from a wreath on someone’s porch. “What the hell is that thing?”
“You really are new here,” Abby laughed. “I don’t know if you’re ready for me to explain Gritty tonight but I promise he's worth the wait.”
They continued up Broad Street, gradually making their way away from the noisy crowds. It had started to snow, which helped muffle the sounds of passerby and create a more mellow but still festive atmosphere.
“So, I’m glad I ran into you,” Abby confessed, breaking the silence that was lingering between them.
Riley’s shoulder bumped against hers as she sidestepped a puddle. “I am too. I have to ask though, is it because we’re both members of the Harper broken hearts club, or something else?”
“No, I’ve been trying not to think too much about that,” Abby said.
“Sorry to bring it up again.”
“I mean, it’s kind of unavoidable. That’s not what I meant, sorry. I’m glad because I really liked you when we met, and I kind of regret not realizing that at the time.”
Riley glanced over at her, genuine surprise etched on her face. “I liked you too, Abby. A lot.”
Abby smiled into her scarf and shook her fingers through her hair the way she always did when she was nervous. “Really?”
“Yeah, past tense though,” Riley added.
“Asshole,” Abby laughed, and Riley’s mouth twitched in reply.
They had paused on a street corner. The snow was falling around them in big flakes, Riley’s hair glittering in spots where it had landed and begun to melt.
Riley cocked her head, lips slightly parted, and stepped a little closer. Her brown eyes sparkled in the light of a Christmas tree peeking out of a nearby window.
“You good?” she asked.
Abby hesitated, chewing her lower lip.
“I can head home, if you’re not feel—“
Abby didn’t let Riley finish. Surging forward on her toes, she kissed her.
Rile tasted like the old fashioned she’d been drinking, smoky and slightly sweet. She kissed Abby back, running a hand through the hair behind her ear, and Abby could feel her smiling as their noses bumped together. When she pulled back Abby caught her breath and realized she was grinning too.
“I’ve wanted you to do that for a really long time,” Riley breathed.
Abby laced her fingers through hers and they kept walking. She wasn't feeling alone amidst all the holiday revelry any longer.
“Do you want to grab dinner sometime, maybe?” Abby asked tentatively.
Riley squeezed her hand. “How about now?”
Abby grinned. “Now is great.”

Hypothetical (Javier Pena X Reader)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Not My GIF
A/N: So, firstly I want to start by saying thanks for 200 followers?!?!?!? like that is awesome!! Secondly, this was a request that I had a lot of fun writing! and I actually really like it, I hope you do too. Also, for the Spanish parts I used google translate because I don’t speak the language so it maybe wont be entirely accurate. Sorry for any mistakes. Stay safe :)
Genre: Fluff
Warnings: fem!reader, none really, Soft!Javi, drinking, Pedro Pascal comes with his own warning
Summary: There’s this one girl who he really likes, hypothetically what would happen if he asked her out?
Javier let out a deep sigh as he pulled up outside his favourite bar. It was a small and quiet place so it was perfect for him, someone who spends all day surrounded by people who couldn’t careless about him or anything else really. But the main reason he went there was because of the barmaid that was always working on his drinking time. If anyone could make him feel better about his shit life, it was her.
His entrance into the bar was the same as it had been since the first time he ever went there. The bar was quiet, a few regulars scattered about the place, a quiet but almost obvious song playing in the background. And (Y/N), the barmaid, was making and servings drinks between wiping down the bar, making light but idle chat with the ones she served and the ones who sat at the bar.
If we go by the story that barmaids are there to listen to problems, (Y/N) certainly is the perfect barmaid. She was always a welcome listener if anyone ever had an issue. She was nice to talk to. She was a friend to all, but she could be firm when she needed to. That was evident to Javi when one guy started getting a little too flirty and a little to handsy towards her, she firmly put him in his place that shocked everyone, and Javi hadn’t ever seen that guy again.
Javi sat in his regular seat, (Y/N) was talking to someone else. Oscar, his name was, if Javier remembered correctly. A writer, not a journalist, a writer. Apparently he was writing a fictional book, something to do with mysteries and detectives, most likely a children’s book but who was Javi to judge? If it worked out for him, go for it. It wasn’t like Javier was any better off, hating every second of his infuriating life, but in a strange way he knew he wouldn’t change it. Yet.
(Y/N) seemed to clock Javi’s presence and skilfully managed to shorten the conversation without making it seem like she was trying to get away from Oscar. She didn’t even need to ask Javier what he wanted, she had known him long enough to know what drink he was in the mood for, and right now he was in the mood for whiskey on ice.
She gently placed the glass in front of him with a smile before leaning on the bar in front of him “tough day?” She asked quietly.
He nodded and took a large swig on his freshly poured drink “it always is (Y/N)” he told her flatly.
“You should take a day off” she said pushing herself off the bar and preparing drinks for other who had just walked in. She had a great memory and knew exactly what drink to make each person, this didn’t make Javi seem as special to her as he would like, but she did seem to spend more time talking to him then anyone else in the bar. “You’ll work yourself to death”
“If only” he laughed dryly “anything to get out of this...constant loop of failure” he took his drink in his hand and gently swirled the amber liquid.
“Javier, in all seriousness, I really do think you should have at least one day off. It’s not healthy working as much as you do, especially in the job that you do” she served a few others, giving them polite smiles as she continued talking to Javi.
“It’s because of what I do that I don’t think I’ll be able to get a day off” he said. She let out a defeated sigh and came back to stand in front of him again.
“I still think you should try” she said
“And do what, on my hypothetical day off?”
“Well, you could hypothetically relax. Take some time for yourself. Or...we could...hypothetically maybe go out..or something” her gaze had shifted to the cloth she used to wipe down the bar which suddenly seemed like the most interesting thing in the world.
“You mean like a hypothetical date?” He asked takin a smug sip of his now empty drink.
She took the glass from him and began to refill it “unless you don’t want to...in which case that’s fine...”
“And... what if I did want too?” He asked as she set his refilled glass in front of him. “What would you say?”
“Then I’d say ask for a day off, and that I work 6-10pm Monday through Friday and 5-11:30pm on weekends” she smiled sheepishly as she went about cleaning a glass before filling it for another customer.
“I think,” he began, rather proudly, “If I’m taking a day off, hypothetically of course, then you should take a day off too”
“I only work nights Javi” she chuckled.
“That may be” he hummed, swirling the amber liquid in his glass “but those nights must be long. Especially when you have people like me giving you sob stories”
“I don’t mind it” she said quietly as she lent on the bar. He instinctively moved forward looking at her with fondness in his eyes which she returned. “It’s good company”
“Yeah?” He said just as quietly, a softness in his voice that was new to her. It was as if in that moment all his worries had slipped away and he was just a normal guy with a normal girl.
“Yeah” she agreed softly.
“Tomorrow? Here, at six?” He offered quickly.
“It’s a date” she smiled.
Tomorrow, there, at six couldn’t come quick enough for him. He had somehow managed to grab a day off which didn’t do him any favours. He should’ve been relaxing but he was far too excited to relax. He felt young. Like a lovesick teenager asking his crush out or something. But in some respects, that what he was. He certainly liked her, no one made his day quite like she did. He was giddy at the thought of actually going in a date with her.
Luckily for him, the day seemed to fly past and soon it was coming up on six. Javi pulled up to the bar and made his way inside. She wasn’t behind the bar. Instead it was a young blonde girl who he had never seen before. But he wasn’t too bothered about that. His girl was sat at the bar swirling her drink in her glass before taking a sip of it.
He couldn’t help but smile. Butterflies swirled in his stomach. He felt amazing. He was quick to compose himself and casually walked over to the bar taking up the seat beside her. She didn’t clock him at first, only turning to look at him when he spoke.
“So, do you come here often?” He asked in a smooth voice, hiding his giddiness well.
She turned her head and looked at him. Her eyes softened as soon as they met his and she smiled softly at him as she placed her drink back down. “Considering I work here,” she said “yes. What about you? Are you a frequent visitor or are you just passing by?” She asked resting her elbow in the bar and her chin on her open palm as she looked at him with the same fondness as the day before.
“Frequent. But with company like this, can you blame me?”
“Certainly not” she smiled.
He gave her a quick scan up and down, a soft smile finding its way to his face, “you look positively stunning tonight”
(Y/N) let out a nervous laugh and turned her gaze away from him briefly “thank you Javi. You don’t look too bad yourself” she said looking back at him “clearly a day off has refreshed you”
“I have to admit, I haven’t done much relaxing”
“Oh? What have you been doing instead?”
Being far too excited about this date is what he wanted to say. “Just stuff” he said “my job had made it so I find it pretty much impossible to sit down for a while”
“That’s a real shame. I think I relaxed too much” she laughed “I didn’t get out of bed until 1. I was still in my pyjamas an hour ago”
He laughed at her words. He ordered a drink and they moved to a free table near the back of the bar where they sat, drank, spoke and laughed for the remainder of the night. Right up until closing time. Maybe he didn’t spend his day relaxing, but that night with her made him feel more relaxed then he ever had in his life.
But nothing good lasts forever. And they both soon found themselves outside her apartment. “Well, this is me” she said gesturing awkwardly to the door.
“I really enjoyed tonight” they both said at the same time making them both laugh.
“I really did” Javi continued, “and I should thank you. If it weren’t for you, I probably would be working myself to death. But it was nice to have a day off. A real one”
“You don’t need to thank me. You deserve a break. You work so hard and do so much for the people in this country and quite possibly the world. That’s a heavy burden to bear. But you bear it because it’s the right thing to do. Even if you have to shake the wrong hands to get there”
“I wish I shared your confidence” he said “sometimes I think we’re no worse then they are...”
She stepped forwards and placed a soft kiss on his cheek “you’re nothing like they are. You’re a good person Javi. A good person, with a kind heart. And I’m always here for you should you need me”
For a moment they stood in silence looking at each other before Javi made the move, taking her face between his hands and pressing his lips to hers. She brought her hands to rest on his waist lightly as she sunk into his kiss which she had long desired. It was so much better then she could’ve ever imagined. It was so gentle and loving, but yet a passion in it that made her stomach flip every which way possible.
He slowly pulled away from her, resting his forehead against hers. She smiled as they swapped their hand positions, his hands falling to her waist whilst her hands rose to rest on his cheeks. “I feel like that was long overdue” he said. She laughed softly and hummed with a nod.
“Yes. But hopefully we can make up for lost time” she said.
“Oh, for sure” he said before kiss her again, this time a little more deeply, a little more passionately. But it was just as thing were really staring to get going that the clicking of a door was heard, ignored at first but then a voice came which was less ignorable.
“(Y/N)? ¿Eres tú, querida?” (Is that you, dear?) A aged female voice came from two doors down. (Y/N)’s landlord. A nice lady, a very sweet lady. A lot nicer then most landlords in the world. (Y/N) and Javi pulled away from each other and (Y/N) looked over to the older lady, Mrs Ortega. She was wearing a light pink dressing gown, slippers and a night cap over her grey hair. Round glasses on her nose but she still had to squint to see the figures clearly.
“sí, señora Ortega. Lo siento, no quise despertarte” (Yes, Mrs Ortega. I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you) (Y/N) apologised quietly, wondering if she would end up waking any other who were in the floor.
“Veo que tienes una amiga contigo” (I see you have a friend) she said with a hint of a smirk as she looked between (Y/N) and Javi who were still very close to each other.
“buenas noches señora” (good evening, ma’am) Javi said politely with a slight nod.
“Los dejo a los dos. Buenas noches querido” (I’ll leave you both to it. Good night, dear) she turned with a slight wave and waddled back into her apartment.
“buenas noches” (good night) (Y/N) called back quietly before the door was shut. She turned back to Javi who was looking lovingly at her, his nose now pressed against hers.
“tu español es sexy” (your Spanish is sexy) Javi said in a deep voice. “I never knew it was that good”
“I’m glad you think it’s good” she smiled. She paused for a moment and looked down, thinking over her next words. “Would-Would you like to come in?” She asked in a small voice, scared of rejection from him.
“Yes” He said simply. She smiled and turned to unlock her door “I have a late start tomorrow, so we should be fine”
“What do you think we would get up to to make you late anyway?” She asked as she opened her door and turned back to face him.
“Something hypothetical” he said before wrapping his arms around her and kissing her again as they fell into her apartment.

Kiss me
Pairing: James Potter x Reader
Summary: You are the quidditch commentator who loves to tease all kind of players and James gets annoyed, not knowing how awkward you are.
Warnings: none that I could find, swearing, maybe?
Word Count: 1,769
Tumblr media
James walked into the pitch feeling confident. They had trained hard, the weather was as good as could be, he was there for the win. Moreover, Lily was watching. He had to be good to impress her. He shook hands with the Ravenclaw quidditch captain, nodding briefly. He mounted his broom, kicking himself off the ground.
***
“I. HATE. HER.” James said angrily.
“Mannn you won the match, let’s celebrate! what’s the problem?” Sirius said slapping his back. James scoffed.
“Ha! James yet again shows off and misses the quaffle, James needs new glasses he’s missing goals even though being a foot away. James. James. James.” James said imitating your voice.
“She teased literally everyone? on both teams?” Remus said, trying to cheer him up.
“Look me in the eye and tell me she makes as much fun of everyone just as me. And my team because I am the captain. Besides the jokes are funny!” James glared at Remus making him gulp.
“Sirius, a little help here?” Remus asked, nudging him. Sirius sighed.
“Mate, if it bothers you so much just go talk to her. I mean, we already know she isn’t bad, not one of the bad slytherins at least. She always hangs out with Evans.” Sirius said.
“You know what? I’m gonna do just that.” James said leaving.
“James, hey! Nice-” Lily said but stopped.
“Later Lily!” he said rushing out of the tower opening up the map trying to find the footsteps labeled, “(Y/n Y/l/n)”
Of course. The library.  James took brisk steps  muttering and hissing. Why him? He never did anything to you. Why did you always make fun of him? He didn’t run hands through his hair THAT much! He did not know when he reached there. Looking around, he tried to find (Y/n) between the shelves. He found you, hunched over a big stack of books, studying.
“(Y/l/n)!” James called out making you look up. You looked around confused before your eyes landed on James.
“Umm… hi?” you asked, unsure why he was looking for you. James narrowed his eyes. Did you have to act so oblivious?
“Why are you out to get me every time?” James asked, cutting off all formalities.
Your eyes widened as you tried to come up with a response. Because he always seemed so carefree whenever you were with Lily? Because you thought he didn’t take offence to things? Because you thought he would get your sense of humor? All these didn’t seem to be true now, though. James cocked an eyebrow and you realised you’d been quiet for too long. You felt a shiver go through you before you thought about the right words to say.
“Umm… I didn’t mean to offend you. I thought I was having innocent fun. I won’t do it again if it bothers you.” You said at last, leaving James for the loss of words.
“You…” James cleared his throat. “So, you’re saying you didn’t mean those things.”
You forced a smile shaking your head.
“You are actually a very good player, the swing move which you do is quite commendable.” you informed him.
“Oh.” James breathed. He had a speech ready on how every single thing he did in the match had an intention behind it, but you were sitting there complimenting him. He suddenly felt foolish. How many times, did Remus and Sirius tell him it was just a joke? Why didn’t he listen to them?
“I’m sorry if I made you feel bad.” your voice comes breaking him off his reverie. You looked down. Why couldn’t you talk to people like a normal person? Did you have to make jokes every time you meet someone new?
“Hey! Its okay, no harm done. I confess, I may have seen too much into things” James looked at you finding you nodding along awkwardly. It then clicked suddenly. You weren’t much of an extrovert he thought you’d be. He smiled.
“So, what are you doing?” he asked, trying to avert topics.
“Transfiguration.” you said glumly. “It seems no matter what I do, I never get the spells!” You dramatically dropped your head down making James chuckle.
“I’ll help you. I’m good at that subject.” James plopped on the chair beside you.
“You wanna help me after all those jokes about you?” You said looking at him.
“Well, you did say I was good later.” James smirked.
***
The two of you stayed in the library for hours. James cleared every single one of your doubts and you found yourself lowering your guards. It was easy around him. It felt like he could make anyone open up to him.
“No that’s not… wait?!?” James snorted, red from laughter.
“Get it?” you choked words out. Your stomach was paining from how much you laughed.
When the both of you calmed down you noticed the time. The library had long since closed and the only lights on were the one above yours.
“We should be leaving.” you said getting up.
“Yeah. See you in transfiguration tomorrow?” James asked.
“Sure! You got it lover boy!” you said pointing finger guns at him. James roared out laughing, at the term you used for him. You were allowed to call him that, after all the chasing he did for Lily.
***
It happened so slowly that neither of you realised it. You fell in love with James. And he was completely whipped for you. Not that the two of you knew it. James found himself visiting the library so very often, even if to say hi. You met him after his quidditch practices brought him some food and drinks. James would never admit, but he loved seeing you there. Showed that you cared. You loved his goofy smile and he loved you could make him laugh for a change.
It was when one evening, you broke down completely. You had failed transfiguration yet again. You hid in a small opening you were sure no one knew about.
“(Y/n)?”
Of course you were wrong. You turned to see James standing behind you.
“(Y/n) what’s wrong?” he asked, concerned. You let out a dry laugh.
“Why do I even try?” you said handing him your transfiguration paper. He studied it for a moment before settling down beside you.
“Look here.” James said pointing towards a question. You rubbed your eyes, directing your attention towards it.
“You see, the answer you wrote is factually correct, but it is definitely not framed nicely leading to the deduction of marks. And here too, you see you are right but you missed out on an important term and that was the frame of mind while performing this spell. ”
James spent the next few minutes pointing out what you did wrong and you felt so foolish. They were all such silly mistakes.
“So you see,” James said, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. “You are smart, you know these things; you’ll soon pick up on the writing part too!”
You smiled.
“You know, I always thought you were this egoistic little girl-”
“Heyyy” you said smacking his arm.
“But then I realised you were actually this cool, beautiful girl who has her shit together. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone like you, and in a good way.”
Your heart beat so fast and you didn’t know when you had come so close. You felt his breath over your face and he moved away abruptly. You shook yourself. What were you thinking?
“I should go.” you stood up and walked away fast. What had you done?
That night you both got very little sleep. The realisation that you in fact had started to like James hit you like a brick. He liked Lily, obviously he did. He deserved it too. He deserved someone who wasn’t socially awkward. You didn’t want to ruin the friendship you had. You would act as if nothing happened. So why the hell did it hurt so much?
James couldn’t sleep. He liked Lily. Had since forever. Then why did he want to kiss you so badly. He knew what he would do. Act as if nothing happened. He could not put the friendship in jeopardy. Then why the hell did he still keep thinking about your lips?
***
The two of you acted as the moment never happened. Sirius and Remus could sense something shifted. They knew James had fallen for (Y/n), but couldn’t understand why he wasn’t acting on it.
“James wanna join me for a study session at about 6?” Lily asked.
“Sorry. Not today.” James said, directing his attention towards his friends. Sirius raised his eyebrows.
“Let me guess, going with (Y/n)?” Sirius asked.
“Yes.” James looked at him as a loopy smile emerged on his face.
“Are you sure you like Lily? I mean you keep blowing her off. You sure you don’t like (Y/n)” Sirius asked, cocking an eyebrow.
“No.” James said in a small voice.
“Fine, then spend the evening with Lily today.” Sirius said simply. James frowned.
“Fine, I will.” James huffed. He called out to the girl. “Lily, on second thoughts, I would love a study session.” James winked towards Lily making her giggle.
“Don’t be late.” she said.
***
James did not like this. All he could think about was how Lily was not (Y/n), how she did not get his jokes, how she did not smile the right way, how she did not tease him back.
And it struck him. He was so not in love with the girl in front of him. He stood up abruptly, muttered an apology and left to find (Y/n).
***
You were sitting under a tree near the lake when you heard your name. You turned to find James huffing.
“What happened? Why are you here? Aren’t you supposed to be with Lily?”
James shushed you taking in gulps of air.
“Want to hear a crazy idea?” James asked standing up straighter.
“Okay...” you said unsure.
“I love you.” James stated.
You opened and closed your mouth several times.
“What?” you asked.
James nodded.
“Yeah. I didn’t believe it either. But I do. And I really wanna kiss those lips.”
You stood silently taking it all in.
“Okay” you said at last.
“Okay, what?” he asked.
“Kiss me.”
James' hands were on you in a second as he kissed you. Hard.
“It’s so much better in reality!” James whispered, pulling away.
“Kissing me? You dreamt of kissing me pottah?” you smirked and cocked an eyebrow.
“Just kiss me.” James said as you smiling doing exactly what you asked him too.

Why, why, why (7,8)
University student!Yuta x reader
Genre: slight enemies to lovers au, a bit of angst, a lot of fluff, and several mixups
Summary: You just got into uni and decided to move in with your childhood friend!Taeyong at the city where you are going to study. As you’re about to start your new, adult life, you meet his friends, and you realize that not everyone likes you. Nakamoto Yuta in particular almost seems like he hates you.
A/N: In this fic, Jonghyun from NU’EST appears for a while (just to avoid confusion). ALSO I’M AN IDIOT AND I DIDN’T POST AGAIN SOOOO HERE ARE TWO CHAPTERS AHAHAHH HELP.
Warnings: n/a (just a liiiittle bit of making out but seriously nothing, also several fu and shi words hahah)
Word count: 2.6K
Parts 7 and 8/11 (I think) First / Previous / Next
Taglist: @melitadala @chxotickpoptrash @aiforyuu @fineapplehoe (let me know if you’d like to be tagged!)
You had classes, and you also had work to do. You had to spend the next week or two studying for a bit, sometimes stealing some time to see Jonghyun, but other than that, you had developed the habit of going to your local coffee shop with Chan, BamBam, and Yugyeom to study. You spent most of your afternoons like that, as the professors had already started giving you more homework than you could handle. Sometimes you’d stop by Jonghyun’s work and he’d give you your favorite coffee, which you gladly accepted.
You still hadn’t seen Yuta after that night. Maybe you’d run across him at uni or you’d see him leaving your house at night when you came back, but nothing solid. Every time you’d see him, he’d wave at you, which was still progress, but you had to see him. You wanted to talk to him, and you had to make it happen. So, one day, you met him at the entrance of your apartment building.
“Oh, hey, you were with Taeyong?”
“Yeah, he wanted me to help him with some choreos he had to practice.” He answered.
“Oh god, poor neighbors!” you said with a dramatic voice and he laughed. “Good, you’re warming up to me!” you couldn’t help but say.
“Yeah, you can say that.” He said, but you could see he still felt kind of awkward.
“So, do you want to go out with me tomorrow?” you asked.
“Yeah, what time do you get off class?”
“Uh, around 6. Does that work for you?”
“Yeah, maybe I can come pick you up?” he asked. During the entire conversation, you couldn’t help but think how awkward he seemed. He wasn’t stiff or moody like when you’d first met him. He had warmed up to you, and you were happy to enjoy the progress you’d made. You couldn’t wait to tell Taeyong all about this.
“Yeah, that would be nice,” you said, and went for a bold move. Yes, you usually were a hugger, but with this one you could never know. So, you just went for it. He didn’t see it coming of course, and his entire body stiffened for a few seconds, until he finally let loose and hugged you back. It was only for a moment, but you felt close to him in a way. “Goodnight, Yuta.”
“Goodnight, Y/N.”
~ ☼ ~
As you went inside your apartment, you immediately started yelling to Taeyong. “Hey, you’re not going to believe what just happened. Where are you, I need to tell you what Yuta and I just said,” you shouted, when you saw the balcony door open, and someone enter. You saw Taeyong, but also that he wasn’t alone. He clearly gave you the shut-up look, which you didn’t understand at first, but soon realized it was necessary, as a second figure entered the apartment.
“Jonghyun, hi!” fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck. “When did you get here?”
“Hi, Y/N. I got here a few minutes ago. You usually come back around this hour, so I thought I’d surprise you. If you’re too tired, I can always leave, but I knew you had a lot of work to do these days and I just wanted to cheer you up,” he said.
You paused, not knowing what to do. Had he seen everything that just went down between Yuta and you? “Oh my god, you’re so sweet! Yes, I’d love it if you stayed, if Taeyong doesn’t mind of course.”
“Don’t mind me, I was just going to stay and dance for a while anyway,” Taeyong reassured you, still giving you that intense look.
“Then, that’s great! Oh, and I saw Yuta too. He was here a few minutes ago. You barely missed him.”
“Oh, well, it’s alright. He’s usually with Taeyong so I can greet him another day,” you replied. “Why don’t you go to my room for a second and I’ll be right there.” He nodded and left the living room.
“Ok, what’s going on?” Taeyong asked you.
“That’s what I was coming to tell you!” you whispered. “I’ll go out with Yuta tomorrow to reconcile and I really don’t know how you guys didn’t see everything from the balcony. I lost my shit when I saw you there!”
“That’s why I’ve been looking at you like that! I saw everything! But he didn’t. He was sitting on the opposite side of the table, don’t worry. I kept talking to him so that he couldn’t hear anything either, but that means I had no clue what you said. I just saw him like that and then you hugged him and what in the absolute fuck is going on, Y/N?” you knew Taeyong was infuriated but also extremely confused, but you didn’t know what to tell him either.
“I don’t know, he was just so nice and accepting today. He even offered to pick me up tomorrow from uni! So, I just…hugged him? Does that make any sense?” you wondered.
“No, but we won’t talk about this right now. You have a man inside your room!”
Fuck. He was right. You left your stuff in the living room and went inside, only to find Jonghyun looking through stuff on your desk.
“I promise I wasn’t snooping,” he laughed.
“I know. There’s nothing to find anyway, really. I mean, besides some embarrassing photos of school parties I guess.” You joked around, not knowing what to do in a situation like this.
“Well, you’ll show me those one day.” He smirked. “Should we put some music on?”
“Yeah, feel free to put whatever you want.” He took out his phone and found a chill playlist. “You like Dean, I see.”
“You know him? Ah, none of my friends listen to him.” He exclaimed.
“Yeah, he’s one of my favorite singers.” You smiled. You couldn’t help but think how good he looked, awkwardly looking at the stuff in your room. This was your space, and he was fully aware of it. Sometimes you admired how much of a gentleman he was, but that night, you had to blow off some steam. Especially with the way he was dressed that night, you couldn’t resist. He was wearing a grey shirt with a black t-shirt underneath, and tight black pants. This classic but stunning look drove you crazy, and your desire to kiss him grew stronger. In the end, you approached him, pressing your lips against his, driving him closer to the bed.
“Agressive, aren’t we today?” he broke the kiss only for a second, then dove right back.
“Only for the right reasons,” you said, and gently pushed him onto the bed. You climbed on top of him, kissing him all over his neck. You didn’t know what had gotten into you that night, but he was more than eager to follow. He gently slided his hands below the hem of your shirt, slowly lifting it over your hands, revealing your bra. You knew where this was going, and with your emotional state at that moment you had no clue if it was the best time for it. You pushed away those thoughts and started unbuttoning his shirt, then took off his t-shirt as well, leaving him shirtless in your room. The sight of him was angelic, the way his body was pressed so close to you was euphoric, yet all you could think about was the demon inside your head – Yuta.
You mentally slapped yourself and brought your mind back to the moment you were currently living, which was a shirtless Jonghyun right underneath you.
“Wait, Y/N, as much as I love seeing you shirtless, we have to stop,” he said. “We’ve known each other for a few weeks, and also, Taeyong is in the next room!” he laughed.
“You’re right,” you chuckled. You didn’t know if you wanted to ignore his comment and continue what you were doing or take this as an excuse to not do anything that night. You were confused as hell. You laid down next to him and wrapped your hand around his stomach, taking the time to relax and cuddle for a while until he had to go. He had class the next day, and so did you.
Well, for you it was more than just class. You had to mentally prepare yourself to spend the afternoon with Yuta.
When Jonghyun left, you were one hundred percent ready to text everything to Chan. You immediately took your phone and sat on the couch. It was already past 10:30, and Taeyong was feeling a bit tired, so he headed to bed.
You: HELP. I’m going out with Yuta tomorrow. Also I found Jonghyun here when I came back and right after I hugged Yuta at the entrance. He didn’t see it bc he was with Taeyong but after that we made out and all I could think about is tomorrow.
Chan: Wait.
Chan: Hold on.
Chan: I’ll just ignore the very sweet fact that Jonghyun came to surprise you and focus on the fact that you were making out with him and thinking about Yuta.
Chan: Y/N, what the fuck.
You: I have no clue.
You: I don’t know what’s going on. I think that in my effort to reconcile with him things got a bit…messy? Idk. Now I’m more interested in being in good terms with him rather than my own boyfriend? That doesn’t even make any sense.
Chan: You do realize this is seriously messed up, right?
You: Yeah, I mean
You: Wait, doorbell
Chan: Wait
Chan: No
Chan: Y/N you’d better come straight back and fill me in!
You looked through the peephole and saw Yuta again. What was he doing there that late? You opened the door and saw the flustered look on his face when he saw it was you.
“Hi. What’s going on?”
“Uh, I forgot my charger and I don’t have a second one and I’d be without a phone if I didn’t come get it. Sorry about that.”
“Oh, come in. Where did you leave it? I hope it’s not in Taeyong’s room because he’s already asleep,” you joked.
“No, it’s right here on the coffee table. Thanks.” He grabbed it and turned around to leave, but you had a different idea in mind. Not even knowing what had gotten into you, you immediately stopped him.
“Hey, um, if you don’t have an early class tomorrow morning, you can stay for a while. Taeyong’s asleep but we can hang out if you’re up for it,” you suggested.
Shocked at your suggestion, Yuta stood close to the door for a few seconds, unsure of what to do. “Are you sure?”
“I mean, I don’t have an early class tomorrow and I can’t sleep yet anyway. Only if you’re ok with it of course.” You were calmer than ever. You knew this could end up being very wrong, with either one of you getting brutally stabbed after a huge fight, but you were willing to take the risk. “But we should go outside if we don’t want to wake Taeyong up.”
“Sure.”
You grabbed your phone and sent Chan a quick text.
You: Yuta’s here. We’re going to hang out. Crap. I’ll tell you later.
Chan: Wtf Y/N come back
Chan: No don’t leave me like this!
Chan: Fuck I need the details and you’re giving them to me tomorrow in class

You followed him outside and sat next to him, facing the road. You had to admit that Taeyong had found you a house with a great balcony view. You grabbed your jacket and brought him one of Taeyong’s, as it was late, and it had started getting cold.
“Thanks,” he said and put it on. It fit surprisingly well with his other clothes, a black tank top and grey sweatpants. He seemed oddly attractive even in this simple clothing that he probably didn’t even realize anyone would see when he left his house to come back to yours.
“It looks good on you. You should steal it from Taeyong. He’ll probably let you have it anyway.”
“You think so?”
“Yeah, the man’s ready to do whatever you say. He really loves you, you know.” You reassured him.
“No, do you think I’m attractive?” he asked, and you honestly didn’t know what to say. He was attractive as hell, but it wasn’t really the best way to phrase it.
“Yeah, I do.” You paused and saw a smirk form on his lips, even though he tried to hide it. You liked the feeling of making him smile, so you decided to keep it up. “I think I’d have hit on you if we hadn’t been fighting when we first met.” It was kind of a bold move, and you knew it. But there wasn’t anything stopping you, since he knew you had a boyfriend, and you had already told him that you found him attractive.
“Wait, really?” He turned to you wide-eyed.
“Yeah, I think so.”
“And you’re saying this so casually?”
“I guess so. I’m usually not that bold, but you were the one who asked.” You paused. “I could lie to you next time, maybe tell you that you’re barely noticeable. And you know it’s not true.”
“Well, if you put it that way,” he chuckled.
“And the jacket definitely helps. You should steal it. You put up with Taeyong’s craziness, so you deserve it.”
“That’s true. You can’t believe how nuts he was the first two years. Now he has more homework and more difficult practice sessions, so it’s not like he has the energy to be like he was when he first got here. Sometimes I thought he’d explode,” he said.
“I know exactly what you mean. You should’ve seen him in his last year of high school. He was barely manageable. His mom was going crazy, and my mom practically put everything away when he stayed over.”
“It sounds like you had a lot of fun though.”
“Yeah, those were quite memorable times. We were both very young though.” You smiled, as you had gotten nostalgic after bringing back all those memories.
“You’re still young. It’s your first year of uni, Y/N.” He laughed.
“True, but you’re only two years older than me. You’re not that much older.”
He was about to second guess you and get all defensive towards you, but at the last minute he just agreed. “You’re right.”
At about that point, both of you had stopped staring at the road and had started looking at each other. The conversation had dragged you both into a light-headed state that you couldn’t exactly describe, but it was a pleasant feeling that you didn’t want to let go.
After a few seconds of silence, you heard him say the words that would change everything. “Everyone deserves to be young and foolish every once in a while.”
With those words, you started leaning closer and closer to each other, unable to pull away. Your lips were merely a few centimeters apart from each other when the balcony door opened.
“What are you guys doing up so late?” Taeyong was barely awake, wrapped up in a blanket, but he was staring at you.
“Oh hi, Taeyong, I thought you had gone to bed!” you exclaimed.
“Yeah, I just wanted some water. I’ll go right back to sleep. You should sleep too, guys. It’s almost 12,” he said, and went right back in. You realized he hadn’t seen or heard whatever was going on between Yuta and you, which was definitely a relief, but now you had to face Yuta.
“Uh, he’s right. I have to go.” He immediately got up and grabbed his stuff, leaving you speechless on the balcony. After staying like that for a few minutes, you realized he had forgotten his charger again, and this time he was definitely not coming back to get it.

The rest of the senior staff turned towards Ezri. They’d been silent the entire time.
Sisko broke the tension. “Who?”
“Weyoun. I mean, they pretty much just turned against everything they’ve ever known and fled to the enemy side, the only thing that allows him to justify it to himself is Odo, and he doesn’t want them around. They must be pretty shaken up.”
“Probably, yes. Why?”
“Well… I’m a counselor. I figured I could talk to him. It’s my job.”
O’brien barged in. “Woah, wait now, I’m not sure that’s such a great idea-”
“They’re right, though. He probably needs it.” Julian interrupted him.
“I just don’t want them to get hurt!”
Sisko raised his palm. “I think they can handle themselves, chief.”
“I just think they deserve a chance.” Ezri tried to keep their voice firm. “Plus, it would also benefit us a great deal if we ensured he’s healthy. But, really, they must be miserable. Just let me help.”
Sisko sighed. “Well then. You may visit him once a day, for an hour. You pick the time. You are to meet with a security officer who will escort you to and from your meetings, during which they’ll wait outside-”
Ezri opened their mouth to contest but Sisko cut them off immediately.
“-and that’s non-negotiable. He’s still under the effect of the toxins from the fake suicide implant, I don’t want to risk it. Dismissed.”
They figured it could’ve been worse, and silently left the room with everyone else.
Weyoun 6 had been taken out of the holding cell and relocated to living quarters as they spoke. He’d only arrived an hour ago and was at first put in a holding cell, but Odo, albeit reluctantly, had vouched for him, on the condition the vorta would be confined to whatever rooms they’d be given for the time being.
All in all, this meant that at 2459 Ezri was on the habitat ring walking away from their quarters and towards Weyoun’s, accompanied by a reluctant security officer. They would have preferred waiting to be rested, but they were only allowed one hour per day, and since it wasn’t midnight yet they could still squeeze in an extra hour. It was a technicality, sure, and Sisko certainly wouldn’t be pleased, but they needed all the time they could get.
At 2512, they were standing in front of the door. They addressed the officer escorting them. “Again, I’m sorry about dragging you here this late, but it’s important. I’ll try to make it up to you.”
She didn’t look pleased but accepted the offer.
2513. Better get started.
Ezri took a deep breath and chimed.
“Who is it?” Weyoun’s voice was slightly shaky.
“My name’s Ezri Dax. I’m a counselor.”
The door opened. Weyoun was precariously sitting at the edge of the window, looking out into space. They spoke without turning their head. “What do you need?”
“I don’t need anything. I’m here to help you.”
Now he turned to look at them, his eyes barely getting them into focus. “Why?”
“Again, I’m a counselor. And I think you could use one.”
“I’m sure there are more useful ways in which you could spend your time.”
“But I chose to come here, so we might as well make the most of it.”
Weyoun remained silent for a bit. “What makes you think this is necessary?”
“Well, I figured things may be tough for you right now. You’re among those you’ve considered your enemies for years, far away from your own kind and the Founders, so I guess-”
The vorta practically hissed. “Don’t you dare speak of them!”
“Alright, we don’t have to talk about anything you don’t want to.”
“Listen, counselor, I’m sure you think you can do something good here, but you don’t know what you’re talking about so don’t pretend you can waltz in and solve everything because of some flimsy licence of yours.”
“That’s not my goal, I’m simply here to talk. It’s up to you how much you want to share.”
“But that’s just another way to put it, isn’t it?” Weyoun stood and started walking towards Ezri. “You make promises of safety, put up a façade to lure me into believing I’m the one with agency here. What for? What do you want from me?”
They were standing dangerously close. Ezri forced themselves not to take a step back, or raise their palms, or do anything that would be read as defensive and invite conflict. “I’d only like to listen to you for a bit to see if we can come up with something. I’m a counselor. It’s my job.”
Weyoun’s voice became a hiss. “I’ve already told you I’m not falling for your lie, either try a new one or tell me truth.”
“It is the truth.”
Wrong answer. His hands jumped to their throat, gripping with unexpected force. Instinctively, they grabbed their wrists.
Shit. Shitshitshit not what I expected.
What did you expect? He should’ve been killed like any other enemy. That was the Joran influence. It had been with them since they’d asked for his help.
This is so not the time for this. Shit.
So far, they had managed to keep the vorta’s hands from choking them, but they were starting to waver.
God, now what?
“They should regain consciousness any second now.”
Ezri could see Julian’s back out the corner of their eye.
“Very well.” Sisko’s voice. He sounded tired.
“The damage was superficial, luckily. Just some bruises. Although I think it may have been due to lack of will rather than ability to harm. Security found him crouched in the corner, completely still and uncommunicative.”
Ezri sat up.
“Ah, lieutenant. How are you feeling?” Sisko was facing them.
Julian turned around, a concerned look on his face.
“I’m fine, really.” They tried to sound calm.
“Ezri, you were strangled until you lost consciousness. Sure, it could’ve been much worse, still, fine is hardly the appropriate term.”
“I do feel fine though.” They took a deep breath, which proved more relieving than they’d ever thought possible. “Where is he?”
“Ezri, I’m not sure you should see him…” Julian looked uncomfortable.
“He’s in a holding cell, isn’t he? I want to see him.”
“Weyoun is yet to be dismissed by Dr. Bashir, lieutenant. It is up to our CMO to decide whether they’re ready for visitors.”
Ezri looked at Sisko, then back at Julian. “Please.”
He sighed. “When he was found, he was completely out of touch with his surroundings. They seem to be slowly getting out of it, though, and I’d prefer to leave them a couple of days to recover before receiving visitors. Since security dropped them off here they’ve only interacted with the strictly necessary medical personnel and I’d rather keep it that way. As a licensed therapist, I’ll allow you in, but I’d rather wait a bit. Pass by later, around 2100. Go to sleep now. You had better be properly rested by then.”
Sisko sighed. “Fine. But this time, you’ll stay in visual range of the security officer and are not to get within two meters of him.”
Ezri almost protested, but figured they weren’t in the position to.
“One hour, lieutenant- computer, what time is it?”
“The time is 2535.”
“-starting tomorrow.”
Ezri got the hint and retired to their quarters. Julian was right, they needed to rest.
“The time is 0600.”
“The time is 0600 and ten seconds.”
“Alright, alright! I’m awake.” They begrudgingly pushed the cover away and got up. Turns out, getting strangled didn’t ensure good sleep. Who would’ve thought.
Ezri fueled up on ratkajino and prepared themselves for the day ahead. It didn’t look like it was going to be simple.
Stepping out into the habitat ring corridor, they ran into Odo.
“Hi, Odo.”
He turned. “Lieutenant.”
He resumed his course towards the promenade, Ezri tailing him.
A few moments passed silently. They were struggling to keep up with the pace, but eventually they resolved to speak anyway. “So… have you talked to Weyoun 6 since you two got here?”
“I have not. I thought it best to give him space for the time being.”
“Right. I imagine it might be awkward for you, being around them.”
Odo harrumphed. “That’s one way to put it.” He glanced at them, then went back to focusing on the corridor. “I heard about what happened. I wasn’t there as I was in my regenerative state, but I trust my officers handled the situation appropriately.”
Ezri nodded, even though Odo wasn’t looking at them. “I didn’t see them, but yeah, I think so.” They paused. “Dr. Bashir is taking care of them. He said they’re recovering. They’ll be fine.”
Some more silence before Odo answered. “Thank you, lieutenant.”
“Anytime.”
They spent the rest of their commute in silence. Ezri made it a point to get through the day avoiding -and ignoring- the subtle preoccupied glances, the not so subtle concerned stares, and the straightforward worried questions. They managed, mostly; up until 2030, when they stepped in the infirmary.
Julian was standing by an empty biobed, reading something off a pad. He looked up when he heard their footsteps.
“Oh, hi, Ezri.”
“Hi. I figured I’d come in a bit early.”
“I’m glad. Since we have the time, would you mind if I quickly checked in with you?” He was already lifting a medical tricorder towards them.
Ezri figured it was only fair. He’s the doctor, after all; at the very least, if they got clearance from him, they could dismiss everyone else by reassuring them they’d been checked by the CMO himself.
After scanning their neck and respiratory system thoroughly, he put his tool down. “You’re fine.”
“Why do you sound so disappointed?”
He chuckled. “I’m simply worried about you. I guess I half-hoped to find an excuse not let you do this.”
“I’ll be okay. Now, where are they?”
Julian gestured towards the other side of the infirmary. “Observation.”
The same security officer as the previous night, one ensign McKenzie, was standing by the door.
They awkwardly waved at her. “Sorry about, uhm… everything.”
She shrugged. “Just doing my job. I intend to take you up on your offer, though, so don’t die, okay?”
Ezri smiled. “Okay. Thanks.”
And in they went.
Weyoun was standing near the wall opposite, his hands joined on his back, looking at the posters on the wall about the bajoran muscular system as if it was a scenery.
“Are you feeling alright?”
They turned to look at them. “Yes. I must apologize for my current state.”
“I can’t imagine having spent multiple lifetimes seeing us as your enemy makes this easy or you. You held back though, didn’t you?”
“I… did. And, counselor, I appreciate the effort, but I don’t think you can quite, imagine what that’s like.”
“I think I can though.”
He tilted his head to the side, a question in their eyes.
“You see, I am trill. Although I, Ezri, look- and, in a way, am- twenty two, the Dax symbiont I’m joined with is over three hundred years old. Which, I guess, makes me three hundred. I have memories from seven other lifetimes, and although I didn’t spend all of them leading a war against people I later asked asylum from, I can use my imagination and say, it must be hard.”
Weyoun mulled it over for a bit. “Trill, you say…”
“Yeah. That’s the name of my species. Point is, I kind of get what you mean. And I’m here to help.”
He lightly shook his head. “I don’t wanna risk another… accident. For the time being, I’d prefer thinking things over by myself. However, I’d be glad to keep seeing you. If I am to stay on the station, I’ll need to get acquainted with its people, and I believe having you ease me into it would be good for me. That is, if you wish to.”
They considered it. “Well, sounds good to me. You sure could use some friends. I guess you can consider me one, now. And, in case no one’s told you…”
They fixed their posture, assuming the most formal stance they could muster.
“...welcome to Deep Space Nine.”

Hi!!! I was wondering if I could get an eternal matchup pls??
- my names Olivia and I’m 17.
- I go by she/her pronouns and I want to be matched with a male character from Haikyuu!! please.
- My birthday is January 6th, 2004 and I’m a Capricorn Sun, Cancer Moon, and Libra Rising (my Mercury is in Sagittarius, my Venus is in Aquarius, and my Mars is in Aries if you wanted to know the rest).
- I’m 5’2, I have brownish-red hair and blue eyes.
- I spend a lot of time doing school work because I’m really driven by it and I’ve had good grades a majority of high school. When I’m not doing schoolwork I enjoy listening to music or going on a walk! I really like going on sunrise/sunset walks bc they’re always really pretty! I try to do community service in my free time because I really enjoy helping others out. I'm currently a summer camp counselor but I hope to be a lab tech one day :)
- If I were to go on a date with a partner I don't really mind what we do, but I like book dates, movie dates, and especially museum dates!! In a partner I'm looking for someone who shares the same interests as me, is kind, has a good sense of humor, and most importantly can understand and work through my emotions with me. I get really bad mood changes so if he can work with me through that I really value it. My love languages are acts of service and quality time.
- I think that one of my fatal flaws is that although I appear kind and respectful when I’m out in public, I have pretty severe anxiety, depression, and anger issues so I struggle with that a lot. I also get really defensive and stubborn when someone says something that annoys me so i kinda never stop talking lol.
- To finish off I’m an ISFP and Enneagram Type 9v1.
- I hope you have a great day! Ty if you do this! ❤
Hello olivia, thanks for coming to my brand new rocket ship!! 🚀
first of all I apologize bcs I'm not really educated about astrology,
so I'll just use your other description as best as I could okay??

I SHIP YOU WITH AKAASHI KEIJI!
"why akaashi?" you might askㅡ
first of all, some part of you reminded me of bokuto.
and some part of you definitely reminded akaashi of bokuto too. it's not a bad thing really.
Akaashi looks at you and think, "ah, she is my home."
because "home" supposed to be comfortable, because home supposed to be familiar. Being with you bring him peace. You are his home, his tranquility, his safe haven.
Most people told him, "God- you are such a boring person, Akaashi." and as the time goes by, he is starting to believe that tooㅡ but thats until you come into his life.
You're one of his classmate. And not gonna lie, at first akaashi only know you as the quiet girl who always buried her nose in books. "If I am boring, she must be a lot more boring than me." that's what he thought of you, bcs really everytime he sees you, its always you and your books. He understands the importance of having good grades, but should you really be doing that everyday?
Tumblr media
The first time you two have a really long talk was when one day akaashi saw you still sitting inside your shared classroom, all alone bcs it's almost 6 pm and of course everybody left already. Nose buried deep in books like you always do, but this time he could hear you humming a song- it's a song that he also enjoyed listening to. He never sing in front of other people before, but for some reason he wanted to join your little secret concert at that time, so he did. He sing along to your little hummingㅡ 1 song turn into 2, turn into 3, and you still didn't notice him at all. He laughed a little because "what's so interesting in that clinical laboratory science book that she doesn't even realized I've been here for almost 10 minutes already."
He tapped your shoulder two times, and you jumped at that.
"H-hey? Um, sorry, I just.. I've been waiting here for you to finally notice me but I guess that book is really interesting, huh?" he smiled at you, feeling a little bad after seeing your reaction at his little tap tap on your shoulder.
"Oh, yes... I want to be a lab tech in the future, so um you know, just preparing." you awkwardly smiled back at him.
"Well, uh.. I know you definitely going to be an amazing lab tech one day. I saw you reading tons of books related to that job everyday in class, so... I believe your hardwork will be paid off."
"wait... that was so nice of him." you stared at akaashi who's currently fidgeting with his fingers.
"Thank you for saying that, Akaashi. That really means a lot to me. People have been telling me that my dream job is just that, a dream. Hearing you saying that someday my hardwork will be paid off really motivate me to prove them wrong. I swear I'm gonna rub it on their face once I got the job." you grins at him.
And at that, Akaashi heart beating a little bit faster than the usual. Was it your thankful speech for him? Was it your cute little grin? He doesn't really knowㅡ one thing he knows for sure though, he wants to keep talking to you. From today, tomorrow, and as long as you would let him.
"Hey, uh... it's going to get dark soon. Do you maybe want to go home together with me?"
You could see how nervous akaashi was after asking you that question, so you just nods and start fixing your books into your bag. Right before you zip up your bag, you remembered the main reason you are still in the classroom at that hour is because you were planning to see the sunset on your way back home, "Wait Akaashi, I actually want to see the sunset today..."
"Oh? I usually go home as the sun set due to my volleyball practice. The sight look really pretty if you see it from on top of the hills behind our school. Do you want to go there? I can show you the best spot."
Of course you accept his offer enthusiastically. So yes, that day is the beginning of your friends to lovers type of relationship with Akaashi.
Tumblr media
Akaashi confessed to you first.
His friend circle are full of annoying people. They all be like,
"COME ON AKAASHI!! CONFESS YOUR UNDYING LOVE TO OLIVIA ALREADY."
"AKAASHI, DO YOU WANT TO SEE OTHER GUY SNATCH HER UP? HUH? ANSWER ME. AKAASHI!! AKAASHI!! WAIT UP!! "
"AKAASHI, WHAT IF OLIVIA DECIDED TO FALL FOR SOMEONE ELSE BECAUSE YOU ARE BEING SUCH A PUSSY AND WON'T CONFESS TO HER?"
"AKAASHI THIS" "AKAASHI THAT" "AKAASHI" "AKAASHI"
so during your usual study date day, he just decided to straight up ask you to be his girlfriend.
"W-what?" you just sat there for a whole minute because... what if things gonna feel different once you two put a real label to your not so friendly friendship? What if being friends with Akaashi is a lot more better than being his girlfriend? What if he ended up leaving you because he doesn't like the real you? There are so many ugly things that you hide from him, would he still love you the same after seeing all those imperfection? so many what if(s) going inside of your head, so little time to actually process each one of it.
"Umm, you can say no, you know...." all the messy thoughts inside your head stopped right away after hearing that.
"NO! wait, Keiji- I mean, not no to be your girlfriend, its no to me saying no to be your girlfriend." God, its hard to be in love. You can't control your heart, your brain, and now your tongue. God bless your soul, olivia.
"So.... is that a yes to be my girlfriend then?" Akaashi looks really small in that moment. He is still not sure if he can finally kiss you or not. Only being a friend to you for these past 6 months kept him from doing a lot of romantic stuff with you. Kissing you, holding your hands for no reason, hugging you any time he wants to, actually go on a study date with you instead of a childish study day. So now he really won't waste a single time if you answer his previous question with a "Yes" ;
After having a long talk about your imperfections, all your insecurities, and also tons of frustrated tears coming from your eyes, you finally say yes and there you have your new title as Akaashi Keiji's new girlfriend. He definitely got his long waited kiss from you too 🌻.
Tumblr media
HEADCANON(s)!!
Bokuto once joined you and akaashi's museum date and he broke a statue hand after trying to handshake the statue. He grabbed the broken hand and show it to you and akaashi with teary eyes. Can't do nothing but running for your life and never comeback to that one particular museum 😭
You and Akaashi have the same love language, "Act of Service" ; So the two of you enjoy giving each other little massage here and there.
Just like you, Akaashi love being helpful for others too, so he really enjoyed the time he spent accompanying you to all your community service agendas. People that you two have been helping together ship you guys so much, especially the elderly couple. They keep saying "You two will make it until old days like us two."
After a long time dating eachother, you two decided to adopt a cute siberian husky that you named "Bobo". Akaashi rejected that name at first, because "Honestly love, I don't like how you picked a name so close to Bokuto's name. Our dog deserves better." You gasped at that, "How dare you, Keiji. This is our son! And his name is Bobo. I don't take no for an answer."
