Alice Dyer is NOT Tim 2.0. Their humor is completely different. Canon Tim is incredibly different from fanon tim. It keeps with the theme of Cybertronians being alien, and yet it gives them connection in a meaningful way that mirrors a human familial bond. And the idea of a clan as a sort of family unit instead of anything else. It's perfect for such a species, and I think it adds depth to Cybertronians as a whole. Bound in brotherhood that far exceeds the bounds of war. Tied together in mentorship and study even in the most brutal of eras.

It is such a small detail, but one that makes me smile. Especially seeing it from Arcee. Her and Ultra Magnus having had such a bond is the cherry on top.
