#...... i think too its not just that im bony #its all the new cuts too #...this is the first time after uhhh. round 2 of taking things way too far that ive seen myself. alone. naked. in a coldly lit changing #room #like #fuck #we really did a number on this body #ive been joking for a long time that i look like an okapi or a zebra but like... damn #idk they dont bother me. they never have #im not grosses out by them or even ashamed nor do i even think theyre ugly honestly. but #along with all the bones i just had this feeling of like. oh lol this aint normal. again like..... I looked like A Creature #which on one hand kinda sick bc slightly nonhuman looking half dead but still beautiful but kinda scary creature is exactly what i was #going for in my teen years. and w the meds ive achieved it with 0 severe anorexic stress or obsession or even feeling hunger basically at #all. just empty #but im...older now #and. yea idk if that's really the standard i have anymore #.......what i see now is just. wear. i see my pain and trauma and my souls repeted death. in the way this flesh looks #..... i think back then i used to get a lot more enjoyment out of having a physical representation of how bad im doing psychologically #but i just. dont enjoy my own pain and suffering that much anymore lmao. even i managed to get fed up with the masochism past a certain #point #..... and i think its also that. while im definitely not great (i did spend the last weeks to months posting on here abt how i wanna die #every day lmao) ive also been A LOT worse #all the scars are from... a lot worse. all the bones - i usually only saw them like this when i was a lot worse #..... its almost like idk. looking at it (me) with more sober eyes #.....i hate how tired i look too #i really need to quit smokiny #that shits doing me worse than the not eating or the cutting or any other damn thing

I think that part of the reason why President Snow is such a well-written villain is because he genuinely never does lie to Katniss. When he says "let's agree to always tell each other the truth," the first time they meet, it not a line, he actually sticks to that. Like a villain who is both incredibly dangerous and and totally trustworthy? Just, openly trying to kill you and being completely upfront with you about it? That's so fucking fascinating to experience

#for context uhmm how do i explain this #so around a few weeks after Jd arrives Bruce is like “Hey... where are the others?”#and Jd is like “ooooh 🤪🤪 he doesnt know...”#Since at this time JD believes that the entire tribe is dead. including his brothers and grandma #so Jd has to take Bruce to the now abandoned troll tree and give him the bad news #Bruce doesnt believe it at first. even if the tree is abandoned they cant be dead? right?? they cant be #so he rushes over to their grandma's pod. thinking that theyre just in hiding and waiting for them to return #and all Bruce is able to find in the empty pod is Branch's old stuffed toy Croco #which solidifies to Bruce that everyone is dead. their friends their family. everyone #Bruce is obviously devastated by the news. he doesnt show it a lot but he doesnt take it too well #he ends up bringing Croco with him back to Vacay Island and patches Croco up #since Croco is a bit worn out due to being left in the pod for years #and since then Bruce always keeps Croco hidden in his hair. both as a memoir of his baby brother #and also a reminder of how he failed as an older brother... ouch #ofc the others arent dead. its just that now both Jd AND Bruce believe that the rest of the trolls are dead #also King Trollex is there bc i wanted to put him there. I feel like Bruce would use his charm against Otto whenever he tries to mess with his brothers. Bruce sees Otto about to say something nasty to Floyd, calmly gets between them while giving Otto a Look™ and telling him to play nice, immediately flustering him so badly Otto has to run away to avoid embarrassment.

Not sure if Floyd and JD would find it funny or be horrified at the idea of Otto actually being into Bruce (even if it will never develop into a relationship).

What I love most about "white lotus" Binghe is it's made pretty clear that he's just as intense and obsessive and weird and sneaky as post abyss Binghe the only real difference is that he shows Shen Qingqiu that side of him

He just takes off the mask and shows his whole hand

I get the feeling that everyone else at Cang Qiong Mountain thought pre abyss Binghe was a nice upstanding disciple who nevertheless was extremely unnerving at times and was WAY too obviously in love with his Shizun

Except on Qing Jing Peak where they found him extremely unnerving and upsettingly obsessive about their Shizun

(I get you Binghe. I really do. We're brothers in mental illness here)

Meanwhile Shen Qingqiu is just like "I'm doing so good at a normal balanced Shizun/disciple relationship. We're so normal" like he knows Binghe is clingy but seems to think it's still in the realms of perfectly average

And not, you know, attachment disorder

Anyway yes. I love that while Binghe does change with time the attachment and obsession and him always being behind Shen Qingqiu is rooted in pre abyss
