interesting to note here that when aragorn does this:
it's not necessarily just a random gesture of affection but may be implied to be a specific gesture of farewell used in gondor, at least based on what we're told when faramir says goodbye to sam and frodo later:
("after the manner of his people")
which would imply that aragorn is actually deliberately saying goodbye to boromir as he dies in a specific way that would be familiar & culturally appropriate to him

man u rly start to notice new things every time u see this movie like. i went again today (just by myself) and more than anything else i can’t stop thinking about how they show elvis singing are you lonesome tonight two separate times: once after they want to cancel him for being lewd, n then again later on whenever he’s up in the international, alone and miserable. idk why it hit so hard but it did and it just. there’s always new things you discover whenever you watch it.

i love embracing movie logic for rp
"why did you choose this for your portrayal?"
because it sounds/looks cool or it's thematically fitting even if it's not realistic. next question—

There’s this detail in the animation when Goro’s in his Black Mask attire that I absolutely love. And that’s instead of his mask completely dissolving with Loki’s summoning it’s just the left eye piece that splinters off and fractures.
So I’d like to say that when Goro summons Loki this happens. Because not only does it look cool, but also because it never completely removes the mystery behind the mask. You never get to see his true face and that’s why Palace rulers never really know Black Mask’s identity.

Why are you so obsessed with Hashirama? Not like it was a bad thing...
Hahaha ok so a couple reasons:
1. It is so profoundly funny to me that hashirama was so powerful that ppl are going around injecting his cells into their bodies and making themselves a huge problem for the entire world. And it's even more funny that when you use hashirama's cells, you get fucked up little hashirama faces that grow into the new flesh
2. I am just generally obsessed with Mokuton bc im the type of nerd who likes to make up rules for magic and Mokuton gives me an excuse to think about chemistry, biology, and ecology in the context of plants (which I have hated for a long time and am finally starting to find super interesting)
3. Hashirama falls into the same category as minato for me where his personality doesn't quite match up with his fucked up actions, which makes it very fun to come up with justifications for why he is the way he is. I've read a lot of madatobi fics which tend to say: hsrm = bad brother >:-( and tobi is a precious lil freak 🖤. But then I read this fic (which is one of my fave) which gives a more nuanced view of hashirama (i.e. he's super fucked up and trying his best) and I am extremely into that. So, hashirama 🤝 tobirama abt being fucked up lil senju freaks
4. The potential for angst and body horror. Making hashirama's powers wild and uncontrollable is just really fun to draw and think abt

Was going through your blog and this post took my attention (jacksmusesdrv3(.)tumblr(.)com/post/189116256024) and I realized that it would fit with the imagery of the trial room what with the stained glass window and such (though one has to wonder where is the light coming from the behind the window considering it's underground) soooooo yeah guys you really should have taken a better look what was hiding under the school grounds
(x) Yeah, Monokuma's sitting on a throne with a bunch of piked fencing around with that stained glass behind too, I normally associate stained glass with a church but it's true of castles as well, it’s like the whole room is an interior of a medieval stronghold. Though the missile motif in the morphing section is decidedly less medieval, it’s still very warlike and European
I feel like the light can easily be setup with electric lighting, considering what happens around the time of the 6th trial- spotlights for dramatic effect too. It’s at least easier for me to imagine than whatever tf is going on with the smashing glass at the end of the game
