hello! it's been a long time, but I used to make edits! and it all started off with icons (I would use MS paint to make them)

I want to get back into it, and so I am opening up my inbox to icons once more! ((here is some of my other work if you'd like to look))

to do so: simply put a character + general color idea in my inbox here

other things to note:

I'm more likely to do a request if you are not on anon

I have every right not to do a character if I don't like them

be kind and at least like or reblog the icons, I've had people request them before and completely ignore the final product - I work hard on these icons and each icon has its own PSD, they're small edits but they're still edits

if you'd like other shapes I can work with you on that, typically I just do squares and circles

typically I like to do my little heart icon as seen in many of the examples above, I think it's cute you may have those in the request unless requested otherwise

icon size would be 100x100 or 200x200 unless requested otherwise

Just as a note from someone who's been in mcytblr for years now, qsmpblr you really have to start reblogging more posts.

Out of all the mcytblr fandoms I've been in, qsmpblr has some of the worst reblog to like ratios I've seen and that's incredibly sad because there are so many talented people in this space.

Reblogging is super important because it moves posts out of a tag and as the Tumblr search system is atrocious, a lot of those posts are lost to time if not reblogged.

The only reason people are able to find old posts a lot of the time and keep them circulating is because someone reblogged it. It keeps the qsmpblr ecosystem alive when you reblog stuff!

I have 3-4 year old posts from hermitblr and trafficblr that still get notes to this day because people find them on other people's blogs.

I'm not saying you have to reblog every single post you come across and I'm not trying to make you feel guilty if you don't, that's silly. But if you like something maybe consider reblogging it as well.

Think of it like a corkboard on your wall, you get to display a cool post whether it's art or a text post for others to see, and the poster is happy that their post has been acknowledged. It's a win-win!

what are some things i can do you ask? well let's look at some things i could think of:—

you can make a post with every punctuation on it (but try, and here's the hard part) to put some text around it and not just list them all out

you can make up a new punctuation mark! for inspiration i would look at the works of people like hervé bazin, martin k specktor, or other people who tried to invent new punctuation

you can make a post about your favorite punctuation mark and why you like it

you can post anything related to punctuation really, those were my ideas but feel free to. i dunno. dress up as an interrobang or make art or something. go wild

ok i guess ill share a LITTLE context. around late january to early february 2023 was when dan was having a mini-break from touring for philly's bday before he had to hit the road for the non-uk european shows. the thing is, there were kind of a lot of complications happening wrt tickets, especially problems surrounding the iceland show, which dan had hyped up as where he was going to end the tour, and pj even mentioned on stream that he and sophie would possibly meet dan and phil there and have essentially a double date holiday! the day before the Shoe Pic, dan had announced that the iceland show was cancelled. he posted the cancellation on his story in icelandic, here is the english translation:
