What are some headcanons you have for Bf and Gf dating?

-GF pays for most of the dates (on Dearest's card, usually)

-Their favorite place to hang out is either the local Mcdonalds or, if they feel fancy, any place with a large buffet table. They usually get kicked out after about an hour and a half though

-A good majority of their dates also take place at BF's home. They can't hang out much at GF's for obvious reasons. They spend most of their time watching flash cartoons and really shitty 'cult classic' films

-They also spend a lot of time 'sampling music' which usually means getting high, pulling up a song GF already made and playing with the audio settings while giggling like idiots

-Boyfriend is a cuddle bug, through and through. He is a burden that GF is more than willing to bear

-If it's a really fancy, special date, BF will break out his finest suit...literally an exact copy of his usual outfit, but the no sign on his shirt will have a very, very tiny, hard to notice heart patch on the front of it, sewn on by GF.

-Due to recent...unfortunate outings, GF has to be extra careful to make sure no one interrupts or try to battle them during their dates. Even she has her limits. She even went so far as to sometimes pay Pico a few hundred to cover them while on their dates, just to make sure nothing goes wrong. Even after he was hired to kill him, GF's money and BF's rap skills still win him over.

-Despite this, Pico isn't really interested in the actual dates of them. Boat's kinda sailed and the dude can, in fact, move on. GF will usually save a McFlurry or something for him as an additional thank you.

-On their special date dates, GF is usually the one singing to him instead of the other way around. You can imagine how many battles can strain a guy's throat and, hey, he needs a little love too.

YOU’RE HIS PASSENGER BABY!!! You know that big shot comedian salary is relatively good so he has a comfy car decorated with silly trinkets. A lot of them come from spontaneous purchases from dates and throughout your relationship you see his car collection increase more and more.

He can’t make up his mind with what music to play, yet is so insistent on being the one to control the aux. Honestly it’s a little headache inducing, switching between his wild playlists of disco, yodeling(????), classical, and rap. Sometimes he plays audio recordings of his stand up routines just to piss you off.

Sasara’s a big fan of narrating his actions. Sasara doesn’t like silence, so his constant vocalization of whatever he’s doing is his way of filling the void. He’s cute in the way that he slips in compliments so casually, calling you pretty/handsome when he looks at the side mirror or making kissy noises when he’s turning.

He also tests out new bits on you! Even when his mind is on the road, Sasara is coming up with a million new jokes a second. Most of them don’t land but you don’t tell him that.

Sasara’s always saying “what ifs” while driving in a shitty attempt to be amusing. However, him casually saying what if he drove you two off a cliff for the tenth time isn’t really funny when you want to THROW HIM OFF ONE.

For really long drives, he’s behind the wheel the majority throughout. And despite… everything, he’s a pretty good driver! It’s one of the only times you see his eyes for a long period of time, so you better savor it !!

4. Their favorite show to watch together? 

Simon 100% watches anime. My knowledge of anime is next to nothing but I feel like he likes Deathnote, Attack on Titan, Hunter x Hunter, etc. I think Wille prefers teen dramas (he got a taste for them from Felice/ the girls) and docuseries, because he's hungry to learn more about the world around him. I think together they probably watch whatever anime Simon is into and nature documentaries because they're both kinda big nerds?! Oh, and Avatar.

5. Who is the cheesier one of the two? 

Sorry but Wille. I feel like I see this pretty much confirmed everywhere, from canon to fic. That boy knows how lucky he is and takes every opportunity to show it.

34. How do they cheer one another up during sad times?

I agree with the consensus that it's physical (lol) however I'll try to say some new things. Wille seems to want to talk it out, and Simon has demonstrated that he shows care by listening, asking questions, and offering support. I imagine he learned these skills from living with Linda and Sara. Sometimes when Wille's sadness turns to big anger (like once a year) they'll go to the junkyard and smash a bunch of shit, then go make out. Yeah. 

Simon seems to go within when he's sad, so Wille tries really hard to stop him from spiraling and get him out of his head until he's ready to talk. He'll plan little excursions, like a walk in the park, or get Simon to dance with him in their living room, anything to show him that it's not all bad. Wille also tries to make him laugh. I envision a lot of tickling. He knows not to rush Simon, who will share when he feels safe and ready. 

35. What are their tastes in music? 

I've thought about this one quite extensively. 

So I think Simon inherited a bunch of Micke's taste, because we know Micke exposed him to music and took him to concerts as we see in canon. I imagine it's a good mix of 80's and 90's rock, things like Nirvana and maybe some Swedish bands (like Kent, thank you Wilma @nothingadoaboutnothing ;)) 

As for contemporary music, I feel like Simon likes indie rock, some of it more underground, some more standard like the Arctic Monkeys, Vampire Weekend, etc. I see him listening to Lizzy McAlpine and Sufjan to cry and get his feelings out. I also feel like he likes Lady Gaga, perhaps a mix of her vocals and aesthetic. 

Wille likes rap and EDM as we saw in YR. However, much like the TV show thing, I think Felice and company have definitely awakened some love for queer pop / hyperpop in him. I see a burgeoning Charli / Chappel fan. Maybe this is just wishful thinking but I see it. Simon 100% makes fun of him (but definitely doesn't complain when he puts it on). 

Bonus / free question: 

39. Do they get along with each other's family? 

I want to say I'm hopeful on this one. Simon seemed to do fine with Kristina and Ludvig, although I'm sure there's going to be plenty more awkwardness and discomfort now that Wille has stepped down. Overall I think they're pleasant towards each other with occasional moments of connection. 

I think Wille is very invested in getting to know Sara, Linda, and possibly Micke. Post S3, I think he starts to form a closer bond with Sara; I'd like to think she becomes like another sibling now that he doesn't have Erik anymore. Wille tries hard with Linda in the beginning, and eventually realizes that all she wants is for him to treat Simon well and be happy, which for him is easier than ever. Perhaps Wille is the bridge towards a better relationship with Micke - he understands shitty family dynamics and is neutral where everyone else is scarred, so maybe he can help them be in each other's lives again in small ways. Like I said, wishful thinking.

I think Simon actually pushes for Wille to spend time with Wille's parents more, because Wille definitely prefers holidays at the Erikssons. S3 made me feel very hopeful about both fronts.

jon- mostly classical, movie scores. he likes violin and piano and sometimes catches himself tapping out the melody. i’d also say a little bit of jazz, billie holliday sort of stuff. he doesn’t like lyrics because he can’t focus when he’s working but he’s got a few records he keeps lying around his flat

martin- also classical, but more relaxing guitar/piano stuff. big lofi fan; he’ll put the video on and spend 10 minutes watching it on loop. i think he’d also be a kate bush/fiona applefan, that kind of music he sings while cooking or cleaning etc. he’s a big fan of traditional music. he WILL sing an obscure polish folksong and you WILL listen and be amazed how decent he is at singing

tim- 80’s dad music. yacht rock. margaritaville. he doesn’t really pay attention/listen to music a lot so he likes what he did as a kid for the most part. he will also listen to depeche mode on occasion, and enjoys a small amount of rap- mostly just listens to whatever’s playing at the moment and says he enjoys it. will make fun of everyone else’s taste, though

sasha- she’s really into japanese pop at the moment and fleetwood mac. she likes listening to podcasts more than music but is known to enjoy a weyes blood song in her time. likes music she can airdrum with. i feel like she would be a jazz fan as well, but likes music with more lyrics and stories. she’s cried at don mclean songs multiple times but will never admit it.

melanie- COME ON. you know she listens to punk rock music. she likes stuff that’s bass-heavy and is known to stim by pretending to play the guitar. she likes stuff like tv girl and the crane wives, and listens to almost exclusively female musicians. but she will make an exception for tame impala, which is nothing like what else she listens to but she likes the vibes.

georgie- carol king, fleetwood mac, that sort of music. she likes stuff you can kind of tune out of when you’re working, but also will listen to of montreal sometimes. she wears those big headphones and has them covered in stickers and keeps them in the case. she also likes to listen to waltzes and songs u can dance to because her and melanie dance together a lot. her music taste comes a lot from her mom.

gerry- 80s-90s goth. (i already said this) but he usually turns his music up really loud because its understimulating so his hearing is kind of shit at this point. he taught himself spanish for fun as a kid and he WILL dramatically sing cien años alone. i think he would also be a nine inch nails/ insane clown posse kind of guy and occasionally listen to death metal but it’s a little too consistent for him. has those shitty little earbuds that completely destroy the sound and that’s exactly how he likes it

daisy- riot grrl music and angry folksongs. she will be the person blasting music beside you at the red light and she Will make it your problem

basira- is more a podcast/silence person (she’s really into history podcasts) and enjoys audiobooks but if listening to music she’ll put on whatever’s on the radio. has a soft spot for kpop but won’t listen to it often

So I'll start by saying that I haven't followed camren for a few years now, I've had some personal problems, which didn't even make me look at Lauren without thinking of a person who truly hurt me,then the relationship she had with Shawn is like that was such a big lie that I almost lost credibility in the person that Camila is,I'm sorry for this, because in that period in my opinion she wasn't herself, now with the change of look I don't know what to think,she's grown up I know, it's just that sometimes I have the impression that she's always being used in some way,It always seems like there's something wrong, and I get the feeling that she's getting more tired of this situation than we are,It is 100% sure that Camren was real, I have rewatched the videos and interactions these days,and really if they are not together now they probably were in the group,It's clear that they had something, which perhaps now like Camila in the podcast says "I wanted someone so much but It didn't end well" (not exactly the exact words but yes something like that)And then the fact that she mentioned the love she had at 17,Obviously it was Lauren, remembering all the interactions "who do you want to kiss under the etc.." we all know the answer,Or all the dedicated posts, the coincidences, something doesn't add up, even now it seems that the thing isn't over, something is about to happen, we don't know when, but something will happen and in my opinion, Camila she'll coming out somehow,even the change of look It makes me think of a change, if there is a meeting going on probably something big will happen, revenge? At this point, all we have to do is wait. Although about Camila, there is one detail that is bothering me and that made me think about her after seeing the drama that Selena Gomez has with Interscope where they are forcing her to release music that she doesn't want to.

I think Interscope is doing the same thing with Camila and CC4 where this forced narrative of her being obsessed with boys is something she doesn't want to do, but she has to honor the contracts.

If Interscope is not investing in Selena because the entire label's budget goes to Billie and Renee Rap, what will be left for Camila?

So. I made an RTC swap au!!

It started just with an idea of John Doe!Ricky that I had for a pretty long time, but recently I decided to turn it into something cooler, so I made this whole thing. Maybe I'll sketch their designs later (or at least make picrews of them), but idk how much time it will take. I haven't change some things, like the relationships between some characters, because I thought it wouldn't work very well. But, this isn't fully finished yet, so there's some moments that may be changed in the future.

I imagine this AU more like a play, than a musical and honestly I really don't think that it'll become something serious, cause I'm not that good at writing and creating full stories, so, at least at the moment, it's just for fun. Also, the designs are based on the 2016 cast, but feel free to make your own interpretations with your favorite cast. And maybe someday I'll make them too, we'll see. Anyway, hope y'all enjoy it!! (Pls excuse me if there are any mistakes, english isn't my first language, blah blah blah. Also there are a lot of spoilers for rtc, so if you plan to watch it — don't read further!)

So, first is Penny — the most imaginative girl in town. She's super silly, sometimes awkward and doesn't really have any friends because most people think she's weird. Penny often gets left out or bullied, and she uses escapism to cope with this + all the stuff with her parents, who she didn't get enough love from. Her fantasies is a bit different from the original Ricky's: they don't have a lore, she just makes up random stories to escape from reality and writes them out sometimes. She *definetely* writes fanfiction and probably posts it online. For some reason people find it cool, but no one in the choir knows about it. She's still a Seven-Up fan and she plays the ukulele (that will be used in the new birthday song for Ricky)

I changed her design just a bit, now she wears a lot of accessories, mostly pins (bc I headcanon the og Ricky having them) and it's mostly based on Emily Rohm's Penny, while her personality is more like legoland Penny's.

The next is Ocean — the angriest girl in town. Like the og Mischa, she hates her parents (but in this case they aren't adoptive) and their lifestyle, but instead of becoming the most succesful to prove that she's different from them, this Ocean just becomes a total mess and starts hating everyone. Idk if I will make her like shitty rap about money in autotune, but she definetely has a history of stealing stuff from stores, lol.

Design changes: messy hair; she doesn't have a headband and a tie, her shirt isn't fully buttoned up. She wears a sweater vest over it with a short skirt (a dress, actually).

Then we have Constance — the most succesful girl in town. She's a big nerd and spends a lot of her time studying because she wants to be the best. In general she behaves just like original Ocean and treats Noel like Ocean would treat her in the og musical (they're besties, but not really). She's pretty mean and very ambitious. This Constance doesn't have as much love for her town as the og one and she plans to move out (and become a premier minister of Canada, maybe :p) She's the one to make the final vote in this AU and of course she will choose John Doe/Ricky.

I haven't change a lot of things in the design, but her hair isn't dyed anymore, buns are down, she has a tie and maybe some hairpins. In general she looks a bit more tidy

Next one: Noel — the nicest boy in town. A complete opposite to the og Noel, he doesn't want to change anything in his life and enjoys living in Uranium. He's still super homosexual and has a big crush on Mischa, and, as I've said before he's "best friends" with Constance who treats him like shit and makes jokes about how he's never gonna breed👍🏻 /ref

He's really insecure about himself, but very friendly with everyone else (especially Mischa). He still enjoys all the french stuff, but you know, in a less... horny... way. And his mother is a baker and Noel often helps her in their cafe

He now has a short-sleeved shirt, round glasses and half of his hair is purple (it's also a bit more messy). In general I didn't change a lot in his design, but I made him such an UwU softie boy /j

Then, Mischa — the most romantic boy in town (ah yes, this one is for you, Mischa simps). He's still in love with Talia and his backstory is the same, but instead of becoming an angry rapper, he became a sad romantic guy, who dreams about moving to Ukraine with his (probably non-existing) internet fiancé. He just wants to be happy :(

Design changes: his clothes and hair aren't that messy anymore and he has a black jacket (like the one chance theatre Noel had). Also his nails are usually black or any other dark shade!!

And! Finally! My best creation yet — John Doe!Ricky. Perhaps, the rest of the choir doesn't remember him (well, in fact they do remember him, but it's a different theory and I don't want to bring it here) because he couldn't talk and no one really noticed him. The only person he was pretty close with was Penny, but still, they weren't even friends, they just standed close to each other while the choir was performing and both sat in the back of a rollercoaster when the accident happened. There will be a role-swapped version of the Savannah scene, but I don't know what name should I use instead of Savannah yet (if you have any ideas, please drop them in the comments!! I'll be very grateful)

When he gets choosen by Constance he'll came back to life as Ricky and yes, he WILL remain disabled because I'm a very big Ricky fan + a very big ableism hater, don't expect that shit from me👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 Also he will still have 14 cats because. Why not. I love cats.

The only thing that will change is the fact that he's a little happier now?? People around him treat him better and he doesn't have to fantasize about fucking cat-people from Zolar to be happy lol. Oh man I'm writing a bit too much about him sorry I just love this guy a lot. Bless his little heart

Okay, so he has a head stolen from some super swag dressed in a Bowie-like style doll that for some reason was in the warehouse. He has a big purple star around one of his eyes and some parts of his hair are also colorful (purple/blue/pink). His clothes isn't very different, but maybe I'll add some more accesories

aprils fools and bloops aside LETS TALK ABOUT THE LUCAS SINGLE EP AND TXT MINI EP ?????

going to talk about the lucas ep bc i’m a bigger nct stan so i feel like this is important to talk about. so this is a long rant i apologize.

disclaimers: this is a rant from someone who’s biggest ult group is wayv (in case you couldn’t tell from the winwin pfp…) so i’m going to try to remain as unbiased as possible and talk on my thoughts of lucas with wayv and lucas without wayv

personally, i’ve never actually cared for lucas. all throughout their songs and all the nct u units with lucas i always questioned lucas’s placement within them. i never liked his singing/rapping style at all. preferred winwin and hendery’s deep voice, and sometimes i would get mad at the line distribution on sm’s end because those two deserved so many more lines than they were getting. i feel like within wayv, hendery, lucas, and winwin’s roles were so blurred and overlapped lucas often over shadowed them because he was considered the center/face of the group. he was definitely popular and charismatic in interviews, and a lot of people knew him after his appearance on running man. now that lucas is no longer with wayv i feel that focus has shifted to ten, which honestly deserved because ten is an all rounder (not a rapper sm please stop making him rap….) i’m honestly really happy with wayv’s currently line up (even though winwin isn’t getting that many lines but agahhshueudghss that’s sm’s fault.)

i won’t talk about the controversy since that’s still a big… situation within the fandom.

(i do not support him btw...................... i pirated the album oops!)

honestly, i’m surprised lucas didn’t leave sm. the whole way they were marketing his comeback made him seem like guilty of his actions. which again i won’t address on, but looking outwards in, it seems like sm is just using him for profit so i feel that all hate directed towards lucas should be directed towards sm instead.

now onto the album!

Renegade: I actually really really like the instrumental. when i listen to a song, i take in fact vocals and instrumental because those are key components to a song. I’ve never practically enjoyed lucas’s voice in any song… but I actually do think he can rap?? at least in this song. it’s a full song so instead of sharing lines with others he does have a chance to showcase his full talent, which i think is what sm was trying to achieve. I can actually find myself listening to this my in my free time because the chorus is so catchy. ignoring the hate and criticism aside, i enjoy “sm core” music and i quite like this one. on terms of his singing ability, nothing stands out to me but again… i’m also here for the music.

Dip it Low: yes i listen to the whole album that’s how i work. I like the funky beat of this one. Lucas’s vocals blends with the instrumental sometimes, so i feel like i’m just listening for the instrumental. “baby girl” is throwing me off so hard.

Crushing on you: very summer core esq vibes. not my cup of tea, only listened to this one once. in all honesty, it seems like this whole album was a marketing ploy to cater to Lucas’s already existing fans who supported him. i think a lot in general, really, about greg's culturedness (and lack thereof) and his interests, both what he's canonically known to like and what i can imagine he'd like -- and, also, what the fandom has often seemed to just decide he likes. and it's funny bc he's kinda shoehorned into the trope of the bookish type, when like... he's not, lol?

not that he couldn't be, like i do like to imagine him having been a bookworm as a kid, and getting (back) into reading through tom, but imo the wider fandom's desire to actually characterize him this way comes at best from greg being really verbose and awkward. and a little bit from the way he occasionally dresses. and like, yeah, he clearly is kinda cultured. he (probably) went to college for a period of time. he knows a lot of fun facts. particularly about animals. he's familiar with the blue danube waltz.

...and he maintains likely performative knowledge of current events prior to that being his job. he almost certainly got/gets the majority of his news through twitter. he doesn't know any philosophers or historians despite that being something ewan has clearly been talking about forever. he listens to self-help podcasts. he enjoys the in-universe equivalent to shitty marvel movies (though he's at least self aware about it and calls them mediocre). and he's got entry-level art on the wall of his office.

he's also often figured to be a musichead - and yeah, i like the idea of midwest/canadian emo greg. death cab and weezer and records from the 70s, especially as a teenager. But the only music we know for a fact that he listens to is rap. and i think the reason that this (and similar) facts are touched on so little by the fandom (including myself, ngl) is that it's a point of non-relatability for people. so much of greg is deeply relatable, as well as aesthetically aspirational. but the bits that aren't relatable, particularly for tumblr users, are really unrelatable. acknowledging some of greg's few canonical interests (especially just working with how few there even are without inventing new ones) creates an image of a whole different and kinda uncomfortable type of guy. whether it's the fact alone that it's rap (which i'm sure is not a common interest among tumblr's userbase), or the specific discomfort of the vibe that greg gives off re: enjoying it, that has to be what's going on. or a big part of it.

also i obviously don't think there's anything wrong with headcanoning particular interests and just assuming that we barely have an opportunity to see them, but i do think it's noteworthy that in general we very rarely if ever hear greg make any cultural references, especially compared to other characters. my personal take on this is that a combination of 1) a pathological need to Fit In, 2) being a stoner for possibly all his formative years, 3) genuinely not having access to a lot for a while, and 4) putting focus mainly into conventional success for the show's timeline, has helped craft a greg who just did/does not interact with media very much or very deeply. unlike others, he has not been afforded that leisure time.

it's the desperation to convince ourselves that greg is not the Normie With Nothing Going On Upstairs that he sometimes seems like, i think, that mostly motivates all this. he's simultaneously too relatable and too unrelatable for the average viewer. like, when you relate to any of the sibs you're perfectly ready to ignore the parts of their life that are related to their wealth and to focus only on the family aspects, bc that's what matters. there isn't the same kind of wall between the audience and greg, so he inevitably gets reshaped. not just getting toploaded with headcanons but having the character traits that influence his canon interests, or vice versa, ignored.

(NOT trying to conflate liking rap with being uncultured btw, just the fact that we don't know of almost anything else he likes, and it appears so little anyway and doesn't seem in line with the rest of his aesthetic and therefore feels easy to ignore. and liking marvel movies DOES in fact make you seem less cultured, so.)

thing is, i think there's a lot you can do without compromising greg's core traits and a lot of it is just up to personal taste and what any given person wants to project onto him. in any case it IS very congruent with canon that greg would develop new interests, or deepen more shallow ones, throughout the timeline of the show and especially after. he's got more time and money and opportunities now. he has a favorite champagne now. greg's journey is partially, ostensibly, one of him honing his taste.

General John Price headcanons (Pt.1)

Warnings: slight mentions of PTSD, depression (?), smoking, canon typical violence

A/N: This turns pretty grim by the end, but I hope you still like it!

• This man watches football whenever he can and he's been at matches quite a lot in his life. He took Gaz with him a few times, even Laswell once

• Sometimes he snores like a dad and Gaz needed several days to get used to the sound in order to sleep when they started working together

• Tells horrible dad jokes all the time and he knows most of the guys hate them, but won't stop

• Coughs like his lungs will collapse but somehow he's healthy

• His knee always crunches like it's about to break

• He's mostly unperturbed by all the carnage and violence by now, but he saw a baby being born once and almost fainted and threw up

• In full honesty he doesn't mind cheaper cigars, but he likes to fuck with everyone by acting like he hates them

• The smell of the smoke on his breath/clothes is really noteable but he doesn't care

• Has a high alcohol tolerance. The only way you will know if he's getting tipsy is by noticing the subtle change in his accent to deeper and more slurred words. If somehow he's really gone, then you will know by the little red tints on his cheeks (which are mostly hidden by his facial hair, but you can see it up close)

• Not an early bird. He tends to be grumpy in the mornings, but if you give him coffee it's gonna be fine

• Which reminds me: his preferred drink will always be a good whiskey, but he usually downs anything he has to (coffee, tea, those horrible protein shakes, vitamin mixes and so on)

• Occasionally reads, mostly classics or novels

• Prefers salty food over sweet

• The secret of the facial hair? Patience and genuine care about his appearance. He shaves for like an hour every time because he doesn't want to ruin his mustache/beard (Alex is the same damn way I swear)

• He likes jazz music and 80's rock. Sometimes he blasts those horrendous English raps too because he knows the others hate it (sorry if I insulted anyone lol)

• Thinks pineapple on pizza is hideous (Soap loves it lol)

• He's had so many broken bones in his life, he has no idea if there is any in his body that he didn't destroy at least once yet

• He doesn't really like action/military based movies because of the unnecessary violence in them. They remind him of things he doesn't want to remember too much. He'd rather watch shitty romantic movies or even comedies, but he won't be caught dead while laughing at them. He also tends to laugh while watching horror movies, but the heavy gore can remind him of bad memories

• He doesn't care about social media or any of that stuff really. Sometimes Gaz shows him stuff like cat videos because he loves them. Everything he knows he got it from Kyle tbh

• He has no fashion sense whatsoever. Outside of work he either looks like a dad on vacation, or still wears too much stuff similar to his gear that he seems to be going back to work in 10 minutes

• He likes fuzzy socks btw

• Adores big dogs, he can just wrestle with them and when they lay on him it makes him feel centered and comfortable thanks to their weight

• Unreasonably good at poker and he has the highest record with like 2 wins behind Laswell (who he just can't beat)

• He can handcraft a bunch of stuff if you give him a piece of wood and a knife. He made little figures for Gaz and the guy kept them as lucky charms over the years

• He doesn't fuss around too much about food and he's not picky. Whatever he gets, he gets, and that's fine by him (he used to live off worst stuff anyways). He loves meat though, a nice steak always puts him in a good mood. Also probably makes mean bbq

• Drinks beverages like orange juice or even milk straight out of the carton

• He's a man who always keeps his promises. Not one to lie or feed half truths, he always straight up says everything he has to

• Has a collection of weird/dumb looking beanies he has received over the years from his team

• He met Kate's wife once and she made him feel like family in the best way possible. He was glad his best friend had such a great person in their life that they could go home to

• Very protective of his men. He has lost too many friends and doesn't want to lose anyone else

• His biggest fear is ending up alone, watching everyone he loves die

• Every man he has lost weights heavy on his shoulders. He remembers their faces, but not all their names which makes him feel even more guilty

• Tends to bottle up his emotions and act like everything is fine. Sometimes he breaks down seemingly out of nowhere, but only when he's alone

• Kate is his closest friend and when it gets really bad, she's the one he seeks out

• He has occasional nightmares just like everyone else, but feels like he's dealing well with them (mostly he does)

• He has a watch he got from Soap as a birthday gift once. He only wears it outside of work because it's too important for him to get it damaged in any way

• He rarely has free time or time away from work, but he gets the most out of it. He has a few safe houses, but prefers to spend his time in one in particular because it has all his personal belongings he has left

• At first he thought the "you're everyone's father" was a joke, but then he realized how genuinely they meant that and he kind of broke down. He didn't think he deserved that amount of deep affection and what came with a title such as that, but it made him feel unexplainably happy at the same time

• He's not sure if he ever wants a family. He knows the military is his life and would never leave it behind, unless he has to retire because he can't keep up anymore (even then, only if they force him). The idea of having someone who loves him waiting at home brings warmth to his chest, but he's not sure if he deserves it. He doesn't want to taint anyone with his hands that hold so much blood on them

📝 misc thoughts

so to me his outer space escapade did happen just without the very unnecessary played-for-laughs bit. he learned a valuable lesson in communication and returned back home after a few weeks stuck on a different planet, and sure hes scarred for life but adding that much depth to his character feels inaccurate to me. i think his biggest takeaway from the entire experience is being able to do the shoujo eyes on command to be a little annoying freak around his friends so i cant explain how happy i was to see the anime epilogue made it canon

hes just so average and silly and nothing beyond that. his family doesnt care to show him kindness (see: in the fanbook when asked what his parents' reaction was to the alien incident he said they just Didnt Say Anything To Him?!?) but i think they're pretty loaded ¥¥¥ so hes inclined to wanting to slack off feeling hes set for life and can afford whatever game or puppy print jacket he wants.

🔔 unpopular opinion

there aren't many popular opinions about him to begin with but i sometimes see him portrayed as too cutesy for my taste. hes a cringefail unnecessarily rude teenager with a short temper and a sailors mouth (at least in the manga) im sure he takes sweet selfies with his dog sometimes but i imagine he still does it in a funny rather than cute way. like the notion is nice but the angle makes it look like hes choking the beast to death and not hugging it by the neck

it started off as somewhat ironic, i thought his design was funny and basically knew him as "dude who strangely resembles teen reigen and has a few funny lines" as im sure most people do, but the more i started noticing him the sincerer the inukawa craze became. what really sold me on him is his and tomes friendship, im a sucker for the 'lesbian and her gay poodle' dynamic and theyre precisely that to me. inukawa is a random cisgay to me just for fun. friends tend to be rude and joke around like that, i cant deny that. my own feelings have gotten hurt plenty of times because of something my friends "joked" about so i understand. i'm especially familiar with just how shitty best friends can act towards each other just because "oh, we're close so its okay." its not. just because you're comfortable with someone doesn't mean you can take your anger or frustration out on them.

its going to be hard, but you have to learn to set those boundaries. its extremely important that you tell your friend that what she did upset you, no matter how "silly" it might seem to you. something that hurt your feelings is never not a big deal.

i have trouble setting boundaries all the time. its very hard to do. but like i said, you have to at least try. and if she leaves you for setting a boundaries or gets upset at you for talking to her about it, she is not worth your time.

easier said than done i know. its not easy to cut someone off that you love spending time with. but you will be happier afterwards. ive lived it, i know. and if you need anything you can dm me, okay?

i would say i have emotionally cheated but not physically, no. and yes i have been cheated on 🫠 i mean, it sucks, tho i can understand why people do it and have had temptations myself, i get it. imo, if you want to do something with somebody else at least have enough respect for your partner and maturity to talk to them about it first. whether that leads to a breakup or a shared understanding or what have you.... i just think it's a really shitty thing to do behind someone's back especially when you supposedly love them lmao 🤷‍♀️

28. What has influenced your taste in music?

so for a long time i was really bad with like.... personal identity and having any idea of my own interests and likes/dislikes. i just sort of became an amalgamation of the traits of whoever i was closest to in my life at a given time. SO for a long time i just.... listened to whatever the people around me were listening to 💀

but !!! i would say in the last few years especially i've been working a lot on liking things just for myself and figuring out what my own tastes are, which has been a pretty fun journey~ i have definitely learned i am a POP 👏 GIRLY 👏 through and through lmao, but i also really appreciate hip-hop/rap and r&b as well. frankly i just like diverse music... i had previous "white dude rock" and "white dude folk" eras and i am deeply, deeply tired of those genres lmfao. like i truly never wanna hear a white man play a guitar ever again 🤣
