About three weeks ago he messaged me being very flirty, and despite both of us establishing that I’m 17 and he’s 20+ (not sure what age exactly), he continued to message me and be flirty.

Eventually the flirting started to get sexual and he asked me about my kinks, again I am 17 and this was something he knew. I will admit it was 100% my fault for playing into it, I knew it was wrong and that I shouldn’t have been talking to him but I did anyways.

I only have the discord messages because out of stress I completely deleted all conversations we had on tumblr. He would often pressure me to do things, take no as a an answer for a little bit, only to pressure me again a few days later or find a “compromise”.

When I eventually told him that this was stressing me out and I didn’t want to keep talking to him, he agreed to not talking, only to find an excuse to message me a few days later.

Of course I fell to the pressure and let him keep talking to me. He kept flirting and being romantic despite the fact I told him I didn’t want to talk anymore and that it was wrong.

It’s only been tonight that I finally worked up the courage to block him both on tumblr and discord, and to be completely honest I feel sick. I feel sick that he messaged me, I feel sick that I did what he wanted, and I feel sick for calling him out for it. I don’t know if it’s an issue with me being too empathetic, something that just happens to victims when they finally speak up, or the manipulation, but I do feel really bad about making this post.

That being said I don’t really want him to be harassed, so please don’t. Only make sure that people are aware that he messages minors sexually and that they should be cautious of him.

I’m just looking to spread awareness but also for some support, I feel really bad about all of this and I just need some comfort. I feel gross about the whole situation, both what he and I did, and right now I just need people to support me, thank you.

I 100% agree with you. A lot of people are taking this as “don’t write him having sex at all” which wasn’t exactly what I meant. The last line was just a joke mixed with my own aggression about how people are constantly sexualizing Jon, the ONE asexual character out of the entire series. It isn’t a commentary about Jon as a character or Jonny himself, it’s more aimed at the fandom and how they treat him. It’s not aimed at asexual people projecting or finding comfort in him by writing his asexuality in different ways, it’s aimed at non asexual people who keep writing smut about him and then using the “it’s a spectrum” thing as an excuse when it’s clear that they just want to sexualize him and get away with it (and I’m not being dramatic I’ve seen people write over eighty pages of just straight smut about him). This is my commentary as an asexual person who isn’t sex repulsed (which I feel like is an important note) about how the fandom treats Jon’s asexuality because objectively compared to the rest of the characters he is the most sexualized and its just gross. I love seeing how other people write Jon and martins relationship, especially when it involves sex, when they’re writing correctly.
