I think my aesthetic might be something along the lines of cottagecore and light academia with a tinge of Studio Ghibli and bits and pieces of chaotic academia. So this includes:
classical music blaring out of cheap speakers, homemade food served in reused takeout containers, half dying houseplants in everything but traditional flower pots, the fragrance of jasmine and mint, mirrors reflecting sunlight on to disorganised bookshelves with the most random collection of books, soups in glassware, gel pen doodles all over my notes, herbal teas in whiskey glasses, locally sourced incense sticks, handmade woolen blankets over commercially sold quilts, baking granola bars on a lazy sunday afternoon, adding chocolate to literally everything, mid day naps when the weather is cloudy yet humid, ribbon ties instead of stapler pins, making my own spice powders, scented oil lamps, being obsessed with cloves, sleeping on a bed full of pillows only to find over half of them on the floor next morning, missing alarms because closing my eyes for two more seconds won't make me fall asleep again, picking flowers and herbs from the garden, sleepy afternoons, careful skincare but with the most day to day products, eucalyptus oil, use and throw inhalers to deal with my anxiety because the smell of menthol calms me down, short nails and neutral manicure, smelling like flowers one day and like the sea the other, getting excited whenever I spot the moon, absolutely in awe and in love with the clouds because they're amazing and so creative, puppies, calligraphy using ball pens, homemade mocha latte using soya milk, my grandma's childhood earrings that I wear all the time, newspapers, organic vegetables sold by retired social workers, tote bags, reusable metal water bottles, hot showers and cold rinses, using my grandmother's favorite brand of soap because I love smelling like her, herbal hair oil, smelling like sandalwood, cooking pasta with the family, reading secondhand books, collecting fused light bulbs, pencil underlines, postcards, 1 am poetry, pop instrumentals and pensive journaling, benzene rings on page margins, berry flavoured cough syrup, baking bread, long walks, loud conversations, thrifting, e-books, chocolate wrappers hidden between dictionary pages, colourful periodic table prints, plushies, honey, fleece blankets, sleeping cats, signet ring, dried rose I'd bought for myself and carried around like a trophy travelling back home with it in the public bus, twinning perfumes coincidentally with my best friend, vintage looking brand new ink pen and expired ink, sticky notes with motivational quotes covering my wall, never buying perfumes and only using the ones I'm gifted, random words that remind me of niche incidents or memories written along the corners of my study material, pearl jewelry set that my dad gifted my mom but it's me who wears it now, combat boots bought at ¼th it's price at a discount clearance sale, all my jackets being bought from different countries by my dad and thus each serving as a token of memory, lipstick shades that match only extremely specific vibes and look off and odd at other times, cherry lip balm stick that I've used only twice, daily calendar sheets reused as a notepad, birthday candles from my 16th birthday sitting on my work table, the lingering smell of multiple beverages in my room because I seldom wash the cups I drank them from and now they're cluttered all over the room, hand me down luxury watches older than me, chipped nailpolish, reminders written down on tissue papers, bus tickets all over my bag, sugar-free chewing gum, deodorant that never washes off my clothes, wearing clothes purchased 5 years ago and getting compliments simply because it's not trendy but is unique, mini origami cranes, rose sprays, lychee scented sanitizer.

coquette on a budget
a lot of people have been associating the coquette community with an upscale lifestyle (Dior perfumes, Chanel dresses, etc.). there aren’t any required products to be a coquette, especially if it’s an expensive item not everyone can afford. however, if you still want to purchase clothes/products that you align with the coquette aesthetic, here’s some stores/brands that I recommend.
makeup and skin care
drugstores and 5 below contain a lot of products at affordable prices!
makeup brands you can find include elf, maybelline, revlon, covergirl, nyx, and wet n wild
some products I’d recommend are maybelline’s fit me face powder and lasting fix spray, wet n wild’s high-shine lipstick, and elf’s bite size eyeshadows
for makeup removal, it’s best to use micellar water, but it’s okay to use wipes if you have to. buy a pack with micellar water in it
burt’s bees, cerave, and cetaphil are good brands for skincare, but you can also find store-brand products at a lower price
unless you have any specific skin concerns, use a facial cleanser, a moisturizer, and an spf. as long as you use a small, yet effective, amount twice a day, these can last you months
body care and fragrance
like makeup and skin care, you can find body products at the drugstore
I’d recommend using Dove’s soap bars and body washes since the bars come in multi-packs and the washes last longer
Dove also has body washes for acne, which I’d also recommend
a good fragrance brand that is a dupe for Bath and Body Works is Bodycology! they’re sold at stores like walmart, meijer, and kmart
stores like 5 below also carry nice fragrances for $5 or less
if you want to have a signature scent, align your body wash, body moisturizer, and fragrance mist’s scents (ex: Dove’s blue fig/orange blossom wash and Bodycology’s picnic breeze)
clothes
thrift stores are definitely a good option. make sure what stores are around you, what they sell, and if they have any sales
keep an eye out for any garage sale signs in your neighborhood! you never know what you could find
don’t obsess over having your entire wardrobe looking coquette. it’s okay to have a pair of sweatpants and graphic tees

4 THE FELLAS:
Ladies! Our men DESERVE to get spoiled, too! Valentine’s Day is not just about us, show your man your appreciation and treat him! I picked out a few of my faves for the men this year.
1. Sneakers
If your man is anything similar to mine, sneakers are one of the for sure ways to his heart. [& y’all better not come up in here with that old wives tale about buying ya man shoes!]
Plus, great thing about sneakers is there are so many different styles and color ways that you're for sure to find something that will fit whatever your man’s style is! But, if you want to keep it on theme with V-Day, lot’s of sneakers come out with Valentine Edition pairs.
My personal favorites are the Nike Air Force 1 Low Valentine’s Day [2021] | Stockx $225
Tumblr media
2. Playstation 5 / PC
What guy doesn't game? Upgrade him this year, sis! I plan to.
3. Hat / Beanie

Men love them a fye hat! And also, beanies are the hottest accessory right now. Think of a brand, I'm sure they got they own version!

6. Add to his passion/hobby! 🎭🎨🎙️🎞️
What does your man like to do? Is he an artist? Is he a collector? Is he into music? Or film? Think of your man’s interests and base a gift around that! Let’s say your man wants to start exploring photography, a good gift would be a tripod or ring light. Maybe he want’s to start up his own business? Purchase the LLC! Podcast? Buy him a nice mic! Or, if he’s into collecting a certain thing, add to it!
I think y’all get the point, lol.
7. Custom Rug / Art Piece
Tumblr media
Men love art, too!
My man is slowly but surely tapping more into his artistic side and it's been so dope to see how his style progresses and what peeks his interests now.
A dope way to add to your man's area is by commissioning a custom piece for him! It can be a painting, rug, sculpture, etc. of whatever he likes! A rug of his favorite character, album, or even ya body ;) would be fye.
Pictured Above:
Curves By Sean Brown CD Rugs [MBDTF & VOL 3] | $250

Here's my fave gifts to give my friends:
Tumblr media
Self-Care Basket: One or my favorite things to make for my loved ones <3 You can really put thought into it and cater it to whoever you’re making it for! Some of my favorite things to put in are: A good book, blanket, eye masks, bath salts, candle, silk pillow case, etc.
Cute Treats + Sweets: Strawberries or preferred fruits, pretzels, etc! Super easy to make and fun, tbh.
A candle: I love gifting candles! The Replica candles are amazing! But, if you’re looking for a more affordable option, the Sand + Fog and the Sand + Paws candles are amazing! You can usually find them at Tj Maxx or Marshall’s for around $8-15 depending on the size. Also, candle's make cure decor, too. Body-shaped candles are such a cute, chic gift.
Wine + Matching glass: Also a great gift for a friend! I want to get more into wine this year so I don’t have many suggestions other than the only one I’ve tried; Stella Rose, lol. But, good wine + a pretty wine glass = perfect duo 😏
.
.
.
Alright babes, that's it for the gift guide! I truly hope y'all enjoyed this years V-day gift guide & that y'all came out of this with some dope gift ideas for your loved one(s)!
If you do end up copping something from/or because of this guide, pls lmk! I'd love to know what y'all took away from this! 💌
Until next time,

Perfumes
Mom found back in her pocket one of those little papers to test the perfumes that she had made me smell last week. The perfume in question already smelled amazing last week and it still smells amazing now and holy shit I have a physical need to own this perfume. I'm normally quite loyal to a "small" French brand that makes fairly simple perfumes (things that are too complex or too strong tend to give me migraines + they make small bottles for 10 euros, which allows me to change fragrances regularly without breaking the bank) but there. THERE.
"Un bois vanille" by Serge Lutens. Mexican black vanilla, sandalwood and licorice. The fucking best thing I ever smelled.
This perfume just ticks all the boxes in terms of satisfying smell in my brain and I have never wanted to smell a perfume on myself so badly. Cause, like, I like perfumes. I LOVE perfumes. I have a sensitive nose so smelling good/having things that smell good easily accessible helps a lot in everyday life. I usually wear perfume more for my own comfort than for that of the people around but damn this smell is just right.
Just. It smells fucking sexy, okay ? My ace ass doesn't even have the need to feel sexy, but this smell is just. Ugh. This is the kind of scent I would want to have to make people around swoon if the world was a fucking Omegaverse. We've reached that point of toddler-brain screaming "WANT WANT WANT".
But fuck it, next sales or if I see it in a second-hand resell, I'll buy it. It's very, very far out of my usual price range but for now, when it comes to expensive perfumes, I'm like my mother: if we find one that we like and we stick, stick, stick to it. Mom wore the same perfume for 20 years until production was discontinued.
Fortunately, I was able to secure two full replacement days in the coming weeks and with my birthday and Christmas coming up, I should be able to put a nice nest egg aside to pay for at least 50 ml.
Anyways, if you have time to loose, I had fun listing all my perfumes under the cut with what they smell / what I think of it.
Montblanc Legend : My very first perfume after starting my transition, it's what helped me the most to feel good about myself when I had really bad dysphoria. It's a very, very rich fragrance, with a fougere/lavender/citrus top note, a floral rose/jasmine heart and an end note of oakmoss. Now that my nose has become even more sensitive, I have difficulty wearing it, but I still like it.
After that, all hail Adopt Perfumes lmao
At The End Of The World : Lavender, tonka bean, coconut wood and incense. Very "warm" and a little sweet, it is quite heady and a more “autumn” scent.
Blue Suit : Grapefruit, Apple, Violet Leaf, Vetiver. Very sharp and fresh, my mother hates it (she can't stand violet leaf) so I tend to avoid it around her. More of a spring scent.
I bought these two at the same time, for my first birthday after starting testosterone if I remember correctly. The first was my daily perfume for a very long time while I rather used the second, more lively and fresh, for more specific moments, like job interviews.
Hypnotique Incense : Pepper, Frankincense, Cistus Labdanum. Worn quite rarely, mostly when I'm in a witchy mood. Best smell to have around when I do my oracle readings. Very, very heady unfortunately, tends to cause me headaches and even a nosebleed once.
Vanilla Bourbon : Vanilla, Almond and Iris. One of my favorites from last year and what I wore almost all summer. Very very sweet, I smell like candy. Got a lot of compliments on that one.
Ravaging Vanilla : Amber vanilla, cognac and oak wood. I smell like a prohibition style bar with this one lmao. Much more intense and marked than my other vanilla perfume, I wear it on my most "masc" days. Smelling kinda like alcohol draws funky looks though.
Marrakech Royal : Cinnamon, orange blossom, tobacco and amber. My most recent purchase, because I wanted to smell spices because 🍁fall🍂. Very soft and sweet, I smell exactly like the gazelle ankles my roommate baked which is hilarious.
Since my birthday is coming up and I have a 1 bought, 1 offered, I'll probably end up with those two in addition.
Dubaï Palace : Saffron, black cherry, oud wood, vanilla. The one I was hesitant with when I bought Marrakech Royal. Also spicy, but more pronounced and I liked the saffron/oud wood combination.
Eternal Osmanthus : .... ZHONGLI HERE I COME LMAO. Osmanthus and cedar wood ? Empty brain no thoughts, sign me in babe.

thoughts on the best (imo) L'erbolario perfumes.. Indaco was my signature fragrance for many years and still kinda is!! sparked my love for powdery violet scents..this one in particular is very somber and incensy a little spicy and reminds me of graveyard flowers and of my grandma and it makes me happy. Last week i wanted to buy one for my bf and ended up smelling almost everything at the shop. i really love their unisex scents btw. i got him Méharées which is a spicy sweet hot masculine scent id also wear... Melograno was a close second it literally smells like a musky pomegranate but it wasnt opulent enough for my taste. This brand tends to go for a more "natural" concept. the patchouli one is great and so are ambraliquida and legni fruttati!! ppl always compare these to more famous brands but they are not dupes they are great fragrances for people looking for a mono note or orientals at a good price 🪻🪻
one of the best Italian non luxury brands with Tesori d'oriente

Hi! I think it's really cool that you're reviewing the hypmic perfumes, I've also never seen anyone talk about what they smell like and I've been very curious about them for years. How were you able to obtain them? I've looked into trying to buy perfume from another anime series but it seemed near impossible. Thank you, have a nice day! ^^
Hey there! Glad you’re enjoying the reviews! The fact Hypster doesn’t list anything about the fragrance notes on the fanclub store, in adverts or anywhere is super frustrating and kinda wild. I’ve never seen a perfume that didn’t include a description or note list. As a perfume collector I’ve tried to describe them to the best of my ability and a friend of mine combed through the very few JP fan posts about them she could find.
The Hypmic perfumes were re-released on the Hypster fanclub store. If you’re a member and live in Japan or have a friend in Japan who is willing to proxy for you, you can buy them directly.
Unfortunately sourcing perfume from overseas is a huge struggle. EDP / alcohol based perfume such as these and some other anime perfumes (primaniacs brand) are considered hazardous goods for most shipping methods. It can be costly and many proxies just won’t bother with them at all.
Sometimes you can get lucky on eBay or on resale sites like Mercari but be careful not to get price gouged. Always check the retail price and submit a reasonable offer. It’s worth a shot.
I’d also suggest looking into other scented products like shampoo and hand cream! Some series offer those as well. I have the Hypmic shampoo and conditioner sets for FP and DH :3

Hi, hope you’re well!
I was wondering how you go about getting perfumes secondhand? I’m scared of getting scammed. Thanks in advance!
mercari is by far the best place to get them in my opinion reddit is also pretty great over at r/fragranceswap! but there are a lot of scams esp on mercari so i understand why you would be wary. ill compile you a little list of tips and things i look for when buying a fragrance:
-do NOT trust sellers who basically only sell brand new in box/unused luxury fragrances with very few exceptions
-especially do NOT trust them if theres only 1-2 pics in the listing and they reuse the same pictures for multiple listings. i feel like this is obvious but lol. make sure the pictures look like they were taken by whoever is selling whatever it is
-look for partials! they are a lot more likely to be authentic and prob will be a better price because theres less obviously
-look at sellers profiles to gauge whether or not they may be real…like for example i like if its clearly justa normal person or a hobbyist trying to get rid of something i feel like that makes me trust that theyre selling something real more than someone who exclusively sells nib fragrances yknow..
-avoid buying incredibly popular hyped brands that have a lot of fakes like byredo tom ford mfk parfums de marly etc….unless you follow the tips above and you feel confident enough to gamble with that much money. ignore that all my tom fords and byredo fragrances came from mercari do as i say not as i do lol
ummmmmm yeah thats about it 🙂 hope that helps happy buying

Hi guys,
I've had a few comments from readers looking for beauty bargains for christmas present and stocking filler ideas and today I wanted to share with you my favourite product I pick up every year from Boots! Out of all the presents I buy during the festive period this is by far my best bargain.
In my handbag I love to carry little fragrance sprays to freshen up during the day and for literally years now I have been buying the Ted Baker body Spray Violet and Bergamot 50ml, £4.00. That's right this little spray is £4.00!!! Of course we all know the brand Ted Baker and in their christmas collection they do different sizes of fragrance sprays and these £4.00 sprays are in the Boots 3 for 2. I personally buy a few and include a spray in each of my friends christmas presents which they love. It's the perfect stocking filler present and really price friendly.
If you are looking for any beauty bargains for gifts I would highly recommend checking out this fragrance collection. I have linked them above as they sell out really quickly.
Lots of love

Shop For Beauty Supplies Online
People's drive to achieve physical beauty is stronger now than it has ever been in the past. With the advancement of technology and the pressure of media, beauty has taken a completely new different meaning. There are different ways by which to achieve society's set standards of physical perfection. While some would opt for plastic surgery, there are those who would rather buy online beauty supplies online to enhance their facial features. Beauty supplies online range from the most basic to the most advanced cosmetic products used in accentuating women's beauty. Using them is one effective way to groom your self. On the other hand, make sure that you only buy the best and right products perfect for your skin type. It is not good to gamble on beauty products that cannot assure quality and suit your needs. Here are just some of the products that you can try to achieve that perfect glow you are aiming for. Skin Care Clear and pimple-free skin is necessary to achieving beauty. You can try various skin care products and online beauty supplies sold on reputable sites on the internet. In buying these, it is better to buy a whole set that includes lotion, anti-aging cream, facial moisturizer and sun block. Using this set of products on your skin will surely give you flawless and healthy looking skin. Make Up and other Cosmetics Make up and other cosmetic products, when applied properly can add to your beauty. On the other hand, when buying these online beauty supplies, make sure that they are right for your skin type. If you are not cautious enough, your skin might have a negative reaction with the make up. Do not just try random brands of make up and do a little research on them before making a purchase. It is still advisable to buy the hypoallergenic products since the skin do not have adverse reactions to them. Hair Care The hair is a person's crowning glory. This is the reason why people spend thousands of cash on hair treatments. On the other hand, you do not have to splurge on expensive treatments that could destroy the natural shine of your hair in the end. Excellent hair care line and supplies could do the trick to give you manageable and great looking hair for lower and more affordable prices. Scents and Fragrances Looking good can only be made complete if you smell good, too. Online beauty supplies stores sell some of the finest lines and brands of fragrances that would suit your preference. You can choose from a list of colognes and perfumes. Beauty might be in the eyes of the beholder, but in achieving beauty, taking care of your self is a prime factor. Aside from proper diet, exercise and healthy living, using online beauty supplies can also help in achieving this goal. Being beauty supply near me now is a reflection of how much you love the skin you are in.

Benefits of Using Eco-Friendly Hand Sanitizers
Tumblr media
Good hand hygiene is important; the COVID-19 pandemic has made people more aware of it. Washing your hands with soap and water can help you ensure safety from various types of viruses, but it isn’t possible all the time. Hand sanitizers can help you ensure germ-free hands. Many health experts agree that Eco-friendly hand sanitizers are the best option to stay safe from viruses. Here are some of the main benefits of using Eco-friendly hand sanitizers-
Reduced Risks
Traditional commercial hand sanitizers can cause various health risks. They can result in burning eyes and the skin. Many users may experience skin irritation, redness or discoloration.
On the other hand, Eco-friendly hand sanitizers contain natural ingredients, which are safe for the skin or body. Organic sanitizers satisfy strict guidelines related to combustibility and toxicity set by the government. You need not take extra care to handle Eco-friendly disinfectants.
Safe For Your Family
Eco-friendly liquid hand sanitizer spray shield your family from harmful chemicals, which can lead to various health risks. Since your body doesn’t absorb chemical connections, your loved ones will stay safe. You need not worry about irritated skin or eyes and other health problems associated with chemical substances used in hand sanitizers.
It’s Easier on Your Hands
Traditional hand sanitizers may harm your body in various ways. The amount of alcohol in hand sanitizers to deliver the best results may dry out your skin, and can even lead to skin cracking, which in turn can cause bacterial infection.
Eco-friendly hand sanitizers can help prevent these issues. They contain a variety of natural ingredients that prevent skin from drying out.
Antimicrobial Properties
Eco-friendly hand sanitizers give extra protection against bacteria. According to a recent study, thyme and clove are packed with antimicrobial properties, And, tea tree oil has the potential to kill germs.
When buying hand sanitizers, check the ingredient list to ensure your sanitizer gives you extra protection. This way, you can easily find products matching your needs and avoid wasting money on what may not be beneficial.
Tips to Buy Eco-Friendly Hand Sanitizers
When you Google hand sanitizers, you will find a wide range of products in the search engine results page. However, not all Eco-friendly hand sanitizing products you find online are the best. So, you need to choose hand sanitizers carefully. Here are some quick tips to get the best sanitizers-
Check For Health Canada Approval
When buying hand sanitizers, make sure you check whether they meet Health Canada’s requirements for sale. On the product label, find NPN (Natural Product Number) or DIN (Drug Identification Number). Visit the official site of Health Canada and verify that number in the list of approved hand sanitizers.
Check Effectiveness
To check the effectiveness and quality of your hand sanitizer, you can perform the wheat flour dough method. Add one tablespoon sanitizer in a plate containing one tablespoon of wheat flour. If the mixture becomes sticky, the hand sanitizer contains an excessive amount of water.
Check Artificial Fragrances
Many sanitizers contain artificial fragrances. But, when it comes to Eco-friendly hand sanitizers, they use essential oils to create a pleasant aroma. It’s important to note that not all brands have the same strength of scents. So, make sure you carefully read the product label to get the right products.
See Price
This is important. Search for products that match your budget. But, remember, not all too expensive or too cheap Eco-friendly hand sanitizers are the best products. So, make sure you carefully check the product labels, read previous customers reviews, and do your online research before purchasing hand sanitizers.
Wrapping it up, Eco-friendly hand sanitizers don’t contain harmful chemicals, thus are safe for your family. They are effective in making your hands germ-free without drying out your skin. When purchasing hand sanitizers, check whether they are approved by Health Canada, check artificial fragrances, effectiveness, and price.
