So, my new 'apartment' has no kitchen.
This is obviously not something I would have chosen, but it's what was available within a reasonable distance from work.
I've bought a steamer/rice cooker and an induction ...whatchamacallit... a plug-in stove burner basically. I need to get a table for counter space and then I'm good to go, washing dishes and stuff in the bathroom is okay.
Anyway. The point of this post is: I'm a boring cook anyway so this isn't a big deal to me. HOWEVER I do want to be *a little* less boring. One thing I realized at my last place is that ever since I moved out of my parents' house I've had a very limited spice cupboard. No wonder my meals get boring, I have like. Two possible flavors I can give them.
So I have a request: recommend me a seasoning!

Me holding my tongue whenever I see a post related to "activism" that is lowkey ableist or forgets about disabled people and tries to guilt trip people into doing something that might be much more difficult if not impossible to do for someone with a disability, or alternatively, tries to guilt trip people into boycotting resources that might be the only option for disabled people who have difficulties going out or traveling places:

hiii eleanor 💙 u have the prettiest hair ever and i was wondering if u have any tips to keep it looking good at that length - guy who is trying to grow out their hair
stefff honestly i don’t think my routine works that well for me it’s just genetics 😭 my main goal was to have shinier hair and i haven’t even achieved it
here’s my hair before i started using masks etc (march)
this is it literally right now post wash (august)
I don’t know my hair porosity possibly i am damaging my hair more. I wash my hair the day right before it gets overly greasy (skip two days wash, wash on the third day)
fable and mane holiroots hair oil - once a week (this is a lie, i am not consistent)
shiseido fino hair mask - 1x/2x a week
&honey silky* hair oil on my ends (+ bleached parts) - every hair wash
* possibly going to switch the the deep version when i run out, my hair is quite coarse (not like damaged, like the strands themselves are thick)
ethique heali kiwi shampoo bar
acure lemongrass argan conditioner
lucidol argan oil - between washes when I think my hair looks sad
various things that don’t involve buying shit: boar bristle brush to distribute oil, rarely use heat, when it starts getting tangled (day three) i tie it, constant trims are the enemy i cut it every like three years, don’t shampoo the ends directly the bubbles wash it as it runs down

Having one of those mornings where I'm like "I really need to go shopping, but do I? But I do want to buy some things, but do I? Ok but I need groceries and cat food... but do I?"
Like I'm trying to squeeze as much as I can out of what I have already but like... my pantry is literally just a box of pasta and some stale bread, like Sarah get your ass up and go to the store.

🐯 very.
You're so friggin' talented, but also so casual about it that it's almost unsettling lol.
You're like "I think I might actually get kind of good at this writing thing."
*posts tlou au*
*hundreds of readers wailing in the distance, forever changed*
"Hey, look guys, I made soup! 😀"
First of all thank you lol
Please be advised that I wrote the tlou au, like i write everything, on my couch in sweatpants, fueled by pepperoni pizza hot pockets and canned cold brew coffee. (This is not a sponsored post but i would be happy to accept free hot pockets and cold brew if anybody wants to make a deal.) I promise you it is not an intimidating look or creative process. My writing is the product of downright slovenliness. Although I do think I deserve some credit because the Z key on my laptop broke right as I was starting that story so I wrote it with a minor debuff on me the whole time where any time I need to use a Z i have to pause and grind that key down for like 2 seconds until it actually registers. That took perseverence.
Also soup is like the least intimidating food in the world! It's cozy and nice and you dont even have to be a good cook, anybody can make soup. You only need one pot!
(Making soup is easier than writing by a lot but I am a much better soup maker than I am a writer. Take that to the bank. I make good soup!)
I dont really know what Im saying here besides thank you this was a really nice message to wake up to!
