Customer Profiles build profitable businesses

The starting point of a service is always the customer. The customer is a person who will exchange monies for your goods or services. To be able to decide who you should target as a customer it is first important to understand what is the customer profiles you are targeting.

The key stakeholder, who needs to understand in depth what customer profiles mean, is the Business Head.

Demographic data is a shallow way of looking at a customer profiles. Just data, as is available on the age , sex and income profiles of residents of different geographies is not an efficient way to understand how to make your business more profitable or for that reason, even to answer the question of what should be the target markets while you establish your business.

Imagine building a business plan for a new processed food item in the premium pricing segment. It is important to understand not just the age , sex and income profiles but also need to understand the affinity of the target group for processed foods . It is important to understand the overall affinity of the locations that the brand is looking at targeting, for multiple categories including luxury goods. It would also be important to understand the customer’s exposure to cultures outside of their own, either through travel or by cultural exchanges in the form of art .

Getting pin code wise demographic data through the National Census is not a difficult task. The National Census will provide you with basic population characteristics including age, sex, marital status, household composition, family characteristics, and household size. The national census being a laborious process that is supposed to cover people residing in each and every part of the country is a process that is conducted in India every ten years. Having the advantage of reasonable accuracy and ease of availability, this data then becomes the starting point for many different activities.

The question that we have in front of us is, if this data is sufficient to create a profitable business plan?

This information is provided by consumer profiling, where the intent of the customers is also available as a part of the data.

Consumer Profiles provide key information about the consumers and their interaction with the business. Customer profiles can tell you about the customer mindset and that in turn can help companies make decisions of placing different product variants, particular SKUs and preferred delivery time. While traditional brick & mortar businesses find this of tremendous value, this is especially critical for the new rising D2C businesses.

In fact the granularity of the data that is required to be used today for micro targeting has to define customer profiles much deeper than just the the pin code level. It is important to understand the customer profile not just by area or sub area, but also by the understanding customer profiles for each household in residential buildings.

Once the business has been set up , especially in the D2C channel , there is independent customer profile data that is generated through the transactions which define the buying patterns of customers. Understanding these customer profiles can build data that will help brands understand who is the impulsive, need based and the loyal customer. The most often used metrics for this customer profile development is through the RFM model. Recency and Frequency of the purchase as well as the Monetary value can help create distinct customer cohorts. These cohorts in turn can be used for cross selling or upselling and are a good way to track the churn of customers.

#probably yearn or some shit and then go back to ignoring those feelings the next day. 😒#i went to the pool today so i was in the mood to doodle something summery #so here's something based on an idea for kurokara at a summer festival...#i imagine kuroba would run a stall for the festival ( gotta promote the shop whenever you can ya know? )#i like to think it'd be one of those shooting range games where you can win prizes and they're all flower themed stuff #like hair accessories or stuffed animals with floral patterns. it'd be very popular with couples.#kara stumbles upon their stall and watches a lovey-dovey couple come & go so he ends up moping behind the stall to kuro #like why can't he have a beautiful evening with a dazzling honey on his arm? he's not sure how they can withstand watching couples all nigh #kuroba doesn't really care. a major part of their regular customer base are ppl buying flowers for their partners so they're used to it #speaking of couples nana & her fiance ( who's visiting for the summer ) come to relieve kuro so they can go enjoy the festival #they end up inviting kara to join them and have a lot of fun together. looks like kara got his wish in the end :3c #also azuma mistakes kara as kuro's boyfriend but then nana corrects him like '' no honey i told you he's their boytoy not boyfriend. If Warhammer 40k: Battlesector and all it's DLC didn't cost 170 fucking dollars I would straight up buy it. From what (little) I currently understand it's almost literally just a videogame version of the boardgame, which is what I've always always wished for. I'm having so much fun right now. Too bad it costs 170 fucking dollars, hahahaha.

it's been a real struggle to find notebooks that I actually like, but I think I have found myself at a crossroads where I must ask myself--

am I the kind of person who would put function above form, and use the lovely, though plain notebooks from the office supply store

or am I the type to say fuck it, form over function, bitch, and order a custom-made one with a collage of my blorbo on it strictly for the meme

i cant believe the day but i finally got a full tower pc. bought it already built and at a considerable discount of some 320 dollars off. its fucking huge and theres so many things going on inside... i was initially planning on choosing the parts myself but finding the graphics card was so hard and everyone else convinced me to just buy it built and honestly? good. id probably have fucked this up so badly by myself

i cant use it yet bc i took too long to buy the monitor that was also on sale and now its regular price -_- tho i managed to find a discount used one for now. well see how that goes since ill get it tomorrow. i tested it on out living room tv and it had some kaspersky thingy open and like thats so cute. i hope they left some treats in the browsing history for me to search through before i wipe it clean

#its a hexer case and wouldnt you guess the front has a hexagonal pattern. so pretty..#it came with 3 fans installed there too that have a cmyk color style to them and it looks quite neat. im thinking of buying some leds to pu #inside the case to go with my keyboard tho idk if id go that far tbh (< gamer rot is setting in. im not immune to pretty lighting..)#its also got a lot of unused space inside. im thinking of making more sculptures to put in. though idk if thatd be safe for it #bc cold porcelain is glue and water. what if it evaporates inside and suddenly everythings covered in a glue film #i wonder if varnish would help? the transparent nail polish sure didnt do shit it came off like 2 days after sculpting the rw slug sleeping #which like yeah of course. its nail polish. but i didnt expect it to flake since all it does is sleep on top of my laptop keyboard #i need miniature glass cake cover tops to encapsule every sculpture inside for safety #looking at it still no wonder these are called towers gotdamn its legit so huge..#it looks awkward tho bc i cant fully make it glue to the wall bc of the cables so its like. awkwardly a bit in front of the wall #im scaared as to how to tell if it ever gets too hot. on a laptop u just press ur head against the left half and feel how hot it is #i think im gonna need software for this.. sigh. tho maybe ill never get to that point since its supposed to be decent #AND its not 8 years old + the 3 fans and gpu fan and cpu fan. surely thats enough. the case even has space for more than that!!#the acrylic side reflects my keyboard too. so niceys. stimulation for my creature eyes #my desk is gonna be so fucked up when i have to organize everything too bc the one i have now is perfecly laptop-oriented #it sits on a custom wooden desk and the keyboard+drawing tablet sit below. but theres a shelf on top of my desk thats too low for the>#>normal monitor to sit to so i wont be able to use the custom desk. and i dont even know what ill do with my laptop either #finally a good change in my sad life routine fr. i cant wait to play watchdogs on this and overgrowth and other ones #AND LAGLESS KRITA SMUDGE ENGINE BRUSHES!!! Anyways speaking of clothes im always on the hunt for a really thick cardigan to wear at work cause im freezing cold in the summer, winter is hell, and my job doesnt allow anything but cardigans cause we can't have zippers for who the hell knows why and i've come to the conclusion im simply gonna have to make one myself

#because by nature cardigans are cardigans #they arent meant to insulate you for extreme cold #but im anemic so im dying out there #im gonna have to like buy wool or something #i have a pattern for a coat but i might need to find a shorter one #so they dont get on my ass about it being too long #not that my manager would care shes lovely #but our regional manager who just pops in to come steal our product for other stores #and then complains abt the floor not looking pretty and customers calling to complain about why we are sold out of things like shocker #she comes in and everything is a big deal to her #meanwhile the other store can murder their customers and theyre like great job

aaaa i know i havent been writing v much (read: at all) recently which i feel kinda bad about bc wanting to write more twst content is why i changed my blog url a while back but. my brain is currently on the "sew projects you're underskilled for" rotation of the crafting cycle so it may be a while yet before i pop out a new ficlet

#the news about bridgerton/netflix/etc removing requirements for wearing corsets got me heated #and i went back into the historical corsetry rabbit hole #and found out i can buy the symington pretty housemaid corset pattern from clockwork_faerie on etsy #who offers a version of the pattern that's drafted to your custom measurements #and then i remembered i never finished reconstructing my mom's tank top and that i should finish that first #but i do have 5 yards of muslin that came free with my last fabric order from mood fabrics back around halloween #so i can actually try making mockups!!#anyway. i apologize for dumping sewing thoughts here lol #rose speaks
