Sibyl - The Great Dread & Queen of the South

Rider - Technoblade

The oldest known dragon in the lands, Sibyl was a great beast whose wings tore the clouds of the sky asunder when she flew and her lumbering steps shook the foundations of even the greatest castles when she prowled about the ground according to the smallfolk of the empire.

With a twisted crown of horns and a forest of spines upon her back, her silhouette was jagged like that of mountain peaks or the depths of a dripstone cavern. Great tusks jutted from her jaws like that of a Northern Tusklin's, and it's said that her fangs were twice as long as the greatest of spears, while her fire cut through the neverending snow and ice of the south with ease, even melting the earth beneath it when something brought forth her ire.

Though she was once a more common sight, it's become a rarity to glimpse her for those even in the more remote reaches of the empire to witness her - let alone her rider. Both man and beast have stepped away from ruling the empire, leaving it in the hands of Emperor Philza - while supposedly the great Technoblade sought retirement or perhaps conquest elsewhere... No one knows for certain in the end, but it is said that if one spends a night in the frozen south and they're blessed by the gods, they might glimpse the great dragon whose shadow can plunge a city into darkness.

The first dragon reference of hopefully many for my still unnamed dragon rider AU!!! Imma try to write these outsider/history book style blurbs for all the dragons as well - to give kinda a feel for them and some lore hints (do take it with a grain of salt, since I'm writing these from general like historian perspective) - Sibyl was a slight challenge to work on but I'm pretty happy with her design over all!

Also as a sappy note, thanks to the people who've been leaving notes in the tags of my past works with this! The interest means more to me than I can really say <3
