x : CALL ME BACK : *+゚
in which: ratio has been waiting for your call since you left.
warnings: FLUFF i promise, 1.6k wc, gn!reader, ratio being horribly in love and pining so badly, reader works as a space researcher, reader is a sunshine so this is basically sunshine x grump/asshole, written during his first release/ v1.6.
a/n: the way i wrote the synopsis made it sound like it was sad. maybe i'll write an angst version of the same prompt. anyways i listened to 'she calls me back' by noah kahan on loop when writing this, enjoy!
Tumblr media
Dr. Ratio is not happy with you.
It has been three weeks and three days since he last received any sort of notification from you, any sort of indication that you were healthy and alive whilst traversing the universe. Typically, you would send daily updates of how your exploration was progressing, or new intergalactic discoveries of yours, regardless of whether or not he cared.
(He cares. He cares more than his indifferent texts lead on. There’s a reason he always responds, after all, and it’s not just because you’ve been friends for almost two decades now.
To him, your constant messages and calls told him that you were thinking of him, and the more space he occupies in your mind, the happier he is; that is a theory he discovered years ago.
He happily listens to all of your rambles. He'll listen whilst in the middle of grading various papers or writing one of his own, he'll listen whilst eating, he'll listen to you as long as you reach out.
So where are the messages he was waiting for?)
Today is the arranged day for you to return from your new mission. Ratio has been counting down the days since he first marked it on his large desk calender, your return being the first event on his list.
He is undeniably excited to see you, yet he feels petty enough to not make the trip down and welcome you by the docks, even if your ship’s landing zone is just outside the University.
It’s irrational of him to hold your inactivity against you. Perhaps you just encountered an inconvenience and lost your phone, or wherever you are does not have good reception to send a text halfway across the galaxy. He understands that your safety comes first on these missions, but he can’t help but feel neglected, and he curses the fragility of his ego for making him this way.
The clock strikes another hour. From his office, Ratio cannot see the ships and come and go, but his ‘scholarly instincts’ are telling him that you are on your way.
Not even ten minutes later, a figure comes barrelling into his office.
“There he is!” You exclaim exuberantly. It seems that the length of the mission did not erode your enthusiasm, and he’s grateful that it is as contagious as he remembers. “And here I was wondering where you were, did you dig your nose too deep in those encyclopaedias you love to memorise?”
You’re still in your research gear, hips and legs buckled to the brim with various equipment that are necessary to your work, and his heart beats guiltily at the sight.
You came to see him as soon as you landed. He was your first destination after a tiring three and a half weeks away from home, not the comfort of your home or bed or shower; him.
“Ha. Ha.” The purple-haired laughs dryly, getting up from his chair and rounding his desk. “Good to see you still alive.”
“What’s with the lack of energy? Didn’t you miss me, Veritas?”
He did. More than you could ever imagine. “Of course I did.”
Opening his arms for a hug, you all but run into his embrace, throwing your arms and anchoring yourself to the sturdiness of his torso. After not seeing you for so long, your familiar frame and warmth provides nothing but comfort.
“Welcome home,” Ratio murmurs into your hairline.
Your arms squeeze him tighter. “Good to be back.”
After a few beats of silence, you step away from him and he reluctantly detaches himself from you.
“I got you something,” you say whilst setting down your bag. Pulling out a suitcase, the purple-haired looks at you inquisitively. “It’s a chess board! I got you a new one to add to your collection!”
Ratio doesn’t bother correcting you that his ‘collection’ only has seven boards at most, but that does not negate his gratitude.
Even whilst away, you thought of him, and that is a great victory.
“Thank you. We can play together, sometime,” he proposes.
“Oh, please. I could never beat you.”
“Giving up before you even start? That does not sound like the Y/n I know.”
“It’s not ‘giving up’, it’s picking my battles wisely. I could never best you in a game of chess, or any competition of intellect,” you laugh as if the idea itself was ridiculous.
“You shouldn’t discredit yourself based on your own assumptions. I think you make a very capable opponent.”
“I know your tricks, Veritas. Buttering me up just so you can chip at my armour and knock me down when I’m weak, have you no shame?” Your voice is light, with an air of joviality to it, and the purple-haired is enchanted.
It seems that you don’t know him as well as you think. He finds no shame in hogging as much of your time as possible, even if it is through a game of chess that he will beat you at. He also hopes that you don’t know him well enough to hear the subtle desperation in his voice when he enquires if you’ll be leaving for another mission soon.
“I don’t believe so,” you tell him nonchalantly. “I’ll be stationed here for about two months. They’re expecting a detailed, twenty-page length report from me, so I guess I’ll be locked in my study until that’s complete.”
Ratio clicks his tongue. “Pity.”
(It’s not a pity. He gets to spend two months with you in compensation for the month that he was robbed of.)
“Not to sound self-absorbed, but why weren’t you there are the dock to pick me up?” You ask.
“Were you disappointed?”
“A little. You’re always the first face I see whenever I come home. It was jarring to not see you amongst the crowd.”
Jealousy slashes at his chest, and he turns away from you to hide his sour expression. “I apologise, I must have lost track of the days.”
“You’re Doctor Veritas Ratio. According to your crazy schedules, there are 72 hours instead of 24 in a standard day, you never lose track.”
Truth is a fascinating thing. By nature, it is black and white, but it’s perception is what traps fools. Humans have strived to discover an uncontested truth for as long as they have existed, but as long as opinions exist, it will constantly be revised and put together again, ambiguity heavy in the air that surrounds it.
You, however, are even more fascinating with the way you can deconstruct him so easily.
“If you must know, I was… upset with you because you were not messaging me.”
The silence that follows is deafening.
Your laughter is even more so.
Hubris can really kill a man. Ratio does not need to consult the texts of ancient philosophers to confirm that.
“Really?” You choke out in between cackles. “I didn’t think such menial things mattered to you!”
“Normally, they don’t.”
“So, I’m a special case then?”
“I shouldn’t need to spell it out for you.”
“Veritas!” You coo, placing your hands on either sides of his face. “I am so flattered!”
Dr. Ratio is a renowned scholar with eight doctorate degrees. The mere mention of his name will inspire hundreds, if not, thousands, of people who have the faintest lust for academia, spreading marvel and fear amongst students and professors alike. His achievements will be engraved and celebrated by the university for centuries to come, and his classes are so notoriously hard that the passing rate is 3%.
And yet, here he is, reduced to putty in your hands.
Perhaps that is who he is at his core. Rid from him the alabaster head, the codex, and pride, you’ll be left with a man who is ardently in love with his best friend.
“Stop it, this is ridiculous!” He mutters, hoping to salvage his image at least a little.
You listen to his demands, separating from him with a hearty laugh. “So you really do like me, that’s nice to know.”
(It is far beyond ‘like’ now. Can you come back and hold his face again?)
“I like you when you’re quiet.”
“Clearly not if you loathed my virtual silence! Which, by the way, was caused because the planet I was on had horrible reception. I really need to switch cell providers, mine doesn’t even reach to half way across the galaxy, apparently.”
“Well. I am glad you survived the three weeks without reception, it must have been a formidable challenge for you.”
“Were you worried for me?”
Of course he was. Whilst you freely roam the expansiveness of the universe, the only thing that anchors him to you across the span of light years is a message. “You should stop asking questions you know the answer to.”
“Boo, you’re no fun.” You lean down to grab the bags that lay at your feet, swinging them over one shoulder. Do you have to leave so soon? “Well, I better get going. I’m aching for a shower and a nap. Now that I have proper data and Wifi, rest assured that I will be texting you soon.”
“Cannot wait.”
“Goodbye, Veritas! I shall see you soon!”
‘Soon’ is a relative time frame. He can only hope that you won’t keep him waiting again.
The door clicks shut behind you, and not even five seconds later, his phone buzzes with a call.
“Sorry! Your voice greets from the other end of the line. “Was just testing if my reception actually worked.”
“There is a reason your day job is a Space Researcher and not a comedian.”
“Can’t you at least laugh? Let’s grab dinner tomorrow at half past six, make yourself free, Veritas!”
You hang up before he can even get a word in, and he’s left to stare at the blank screen of his phone with an idiotic smile.
Everything’s alright when you call him back.

Somehow, the ill feeling of waiting until summer to see Jack again began to fade with each passing day. The itch to text him every time something exciting or infuriating happened to you began to lessen. The thoughts of him when you saw a funny meme he’d like, or your shared favourite foods on special at the grocery store, quietly stopped happening as frequently.
But then there were the things that didn’t stop. The sharp pain in your chest whenever Jack’s smiling face popped up on your social media feed. The butterflies in your stomach whenever your parents brought him up in conversation, fuelled by whatever the latest updates were from their group message thread with Jim and Ellen. The joy that would wash over you when you heard about a Devils win or a Jack Hughes goal, followed almost always by a wave of sadness that you were hearing about it second or third hand, rather than from Jack himself.
You were the one who’d asked for space. You needed time, you’d said. Given the blow up of All-Star weekend, all Jack was doing was respecting your wishes; but a huge part of you not so secretly wished he’d be a bit more disrespectful and reach out. Your mind was a mess of conflicting thoughts, and your heart wasn’t sure which emotion to feel or where to go next.
Since kindergarten, you’d barely gone more than a few days without seeing or communicating with Jack in some way. Now you were nearly a month without a word, and even though you were still mad at how he’d treated you, you were craving a return to the friendship you’d become so accustomed to. Jack knew you better than anyone, could basically read your mind with a single look, and although you had plenty of friends at college and still around in Toronto from high school, none came close to the camaraderie you shared with Jack. He was someone you could talk to for hours, or sit next to in silence for the same amount of time, it didn’t matter. With Jack, you could be utterly and entirely yourself, no complications. Now it felt like you were always pretending. And it was exhausting.
It was about 9pm on a Thursday night when you found yourself pushing through that exhaustion to try and complete yet another university assignment. For motherfucking economics. You couldn’t wait until you’d completed all of your compulsory economics credits because it was the absolute opposite of your cup of tea, when it came to academic subjects. This assignment was your last one, and you weren’t sure whether to cheer or cry at the idea of hitting the submit button on the online portal. Maybe you should’ve bought a confetti cannon to celebrate. Or a box of wine. Or booked yourself a flight somewhere fun, given you had a break from classes soon.
As soon as the thought of a trip crossed your mind, your phone began to buzz with an incoming video call. A video call from… Luke. Luke Hughes.
Your face scrunched in confusion, as you swiped to answer the call, met with Luke’s smiling face and messy curls.
“Hey sunshine! Long time no see. How have you been?” Luke spoke cheerily. Almost too cheerily.
You were immediately suspicious and narrowed your eyes at the youngest Hughes.
Luke was 3 years old when you met for the first time; he could barely remember a life without you in it. Given how inseparable you and Jack were, Luke became your de facto little brother, always tagging along where he could and joining in your adventures. Later on, when he became a teenager, you were the one Luke would come to when he was having issues with his friends, or trying to build up the courage to ask out the cute girl in his math class, or missing his brothers when they moved away. You were his second call after Ellen when he felt homesick at Michigan, and you were his first call when he had fucked up something that he felt his brothers would never let him live down. Emotional support and damage control, with a healthy dose of teasing and laughs thrown in. That was the dynamic between you and Luke. It also meant you could read him to filth when he was lying to you, and your honesty radar was through the roof at this sudden video call.
“I’m fine, Moose. Just trying to wrap up my final assignment before the break without losing my entire mind.” You offered weakly, half-expecting Luke to make a joke about your mind having been lost years ago, but the joke never came.
Instead, you saw the concern flicker across Luke’s face, just for a moment, before he forced a smile.
“How long is your break for? Any plans?”
“Three weeks, and not really. I promised my mother I’d spend a few days helping her with planning for their anniversary party in June, but that probably won’t happen until right before I go back to school.” You chatted absently, hitting save on your essay and standing up from the couch, bringing your phone with you as you moved into the kitchen to make yourself a drink.
You propped the phone up against the vase on your kitchen bench, reaching up into the cabinet to retrieve a glass.
“Well, you should come visit. We’ve got like 5 home games in a row or something ridiculous coming up. It’d be fun!” Luke’s tone was cheerful, but cautious, like he wasn’t sure how you were going to react.
You hummed in response, moving slightly out of view of your phone to get some ice cubes from your freezer and a soda from the fridge.
“Besides, I heard a rumour that you’ve got an airline voucher to use. I’d hate for it to expire or something.”
You could feel your heart starting to beat faster. Luke knew about the voucher. Did that mean Jack had told him about your fight?
“The voucher won’t expire for three years. I’m sure I’ll manage to use it before then.” You deadpanned, stepping back into frame to see Luke rolling his eyes at you.
“Yeah, sure, but will I survive that long without seeing you? Absolutely not. Come on, sugar. Please? Even if it’s just a weekend?” Luke had moved into full begging mode, with puppy dog eyes and everything.
You sighed, fidgeting with the straw in your drink and avoiding his gaze.
“I don’t… we haven’t talked at all, Luke. I don’t know what he’ll do if I just show up there.” You half-whispered, feeling that all-too-familiar wave of sadness coursing through your veins.
“He talked about you tonight at dinner. Says he misses you. But he doesn’t want to push, or not give you the space you wanted. But right now, he’s on the couch watching Gossip Girl, so…” Luke stated matter-of-factly, staring you down with a knowing look on your face.
Gossip Girl was something you’d insisted Jack get into when you were teenagers, as long as he “wanted to be called your official best friend”. And The OC. And Gilmore Girls. And One Tree Hill. And basically any other teen drama series you could think of. Collectively, those shows had thousands of episodes, and you always found yourself settling down to watch them whenever you were missing Jack more than usual. You’d never realised before that he did the same.
“Should… should we tell him I’m coming? I don’t want him to get upset by a bad surprise.”
“Not at all, sugar. Book the flight and send me the details, I’ll sort out the rest.” Luke’s beaming smile made a smile of your own creep onto your face, as you nodded at him and went to retrieve your laptop from the couch to log onto the airline website.
“Now that that’s sorted, I was wondering, what does it mean when a girl asks me what my sun, moon and rising are? Should I be worried? Or is it a good thing?”
–
Two days later, you were done with your semester and on your way to the airport. Luke had suggested you book a one-way flight, “That way, you can go home whenever you like!”, but you were starting to feel like the whole thing was a mistake.
Nonetheless, you pushed through those feelings and boarded your flight. The whole ordeal took less than two hours, and soon enough you found yourself navigating the arrivals area at Newark airport. You spotted Luke’s lanky figure, clad in a Michigan sweatshirt, with his back to you. You couldn’t help but creep up on him and poke his side, cracking up with laughter as Luke jumped at least three feet into the air. He’d always been the easiest to scare, ever since you were kids.
Luke cussed you out, and then pulled you into a bone-crushing hug.
“Missed your face, sugarplum.” Luke murmured, as you pulled away from each other and he rested his hands on your shoulders, studying you.
“Aw, Lukey. I’d say I’d missed yours too, but we really gotta do something about that hair.” You poked your tongue out as the youngest Hughes brother’s jaw dropped in mock offense.
You retrieved your bag from the luggage carousel, and headed out to where Luke had parked. The two of you fell into easy conversation as Luke navigated through the New Jersey streets back to the apartment he shared with Jack.
You managed to bury most of the nerves, but they came bubbling back to the surface when Luke pulled into the parking garage at the bottom of his building.
“Is… um… Is Jack home? Alone?” You managed to squeak out, and Luke looked at you like you were crazy.
Ever since All-Star weekend, you’d been having a recurring nightmare about Jack and the girl from the messages you’d accidentally become privy to. In particular, it was a scenario where you would come home from wherever you’d been out, and opened the apartment door to find them… entangled, on every possible surface you could think of. You felt yourself starting to feel ill as the images from your nightmares started to flash back into your mind.
“He’s alone. Ever since… ever since he came home early from All-Star, he’s been alone. None of the… usual visitors have been over. And he hasn’t been going to theirs, either. Not even when we’re on a roadie.” Luke said carefully, and you could tell he was trying not to upset you.
You could also tell that he was being honest. Because you could always tell when he was lying. But your mind was running a million miles a minute. Jack hadn’t… for a month? Because of his fight with you? You loved Jack, but you also knew (despite wishing that you didn’t know at all) that it had been years since he’d gone that long without intimacy. In fact, it was probably the longest since losing his virginity that Jack hadn’t fulfilled his desires.
Your mind was starting to wander into the gutter, and you pressed your eyes closed to bring yourself back to Earth. All you could do was nod at Luke, before you both hopped out of the car and into the elevator. Luke insisted on carrying your luggage, so you found yourself fidgeting incessantly with your hands as the elevator climbed to the correct floor.
You trailed behind Luke as he strode towards the apartment door and unlocked it, stepping inside and putting your bag down. He looked back and waved you into the apartment, pressing a finger to his lips. You tiptoed across the doorway, and your heart softened at the scene before you.
You could see the back of Jack’s head leaned up against the couch, and an episode of Gilmore Girls playing on the TV mounted on the wall. In fact, it was one of your favourite episodes; where Jess comes back and shows Rory the book he wrote, and calls her out for dropping out of Yale. You smiled ruefully as you thought about the parallels between that episode and your current situation with Jack, as the argument between Jess and Rory played out on the screen.
What do you mean?
You know what I mean! I know you. I know you better than anyone! This isn't you!
…
This isn't you! This! You going out with this jerk, with the Porsche! We made fun of guys like this!
You caught him on a bad night.
This isn't about him! Okay? Screw him! What's going on with you? This isn't you, Rory. You know it isn't. What's going on?
I don't know. I don't know…
“Are we Team Jess or Team Rory this time, Jacky?” Luke called out, making you jump.
“Team Jess all the way, obviously. Where have you bee-” Jack stopped dead in his tracks as he turned to face his brother, and instead saw you in the middle of his living room.
Jack’s face was a revelation. Confusion, at first. Then the briefest flash of hurt and anguish. Then a smile. Then caution and uncertainty, as he slowly stepped towards you.
You let a breath you hadn’t realised you were holding, and quickly moved across the room, clumsily throwing your arms around your best friend. You felt Jack freeze momentarily, almost as if he was shocked at your touch, but that soon passed and you felt his hands slide around your waist and squeeze, bringing your bodies as close together as possible.
You nestled your head on Jack’s shoulder, breathing in his scent. His thumbs softly rubbed up and down your side, and you felt him press a soft kiss into your hair. You stayed like that for a minute, or maybe longer, relaxing into the embrace.
The sound of the apartment door slamming shut made you jolt, and you rolled your eyes as you realised that Luke had tried to sneak way unnoticed and failed miserably.
“Hi.” Jack whispered, pulling back from you slightly but keeping his hands locked around you.
“Hi.” You whispered back, reaching up to brush his hair out of his eyes.
“Is it still shit hair? Or better now it’s longer?” Jack teased, rolling his tongue between his teeth.
“Better. But only slightly.” You teased back, your hands slipping down to the back of his neck comfortably.
The warmth of the surprise arrival was starting to fade. The dread you’d felt over addressing your fight with Jack was starting to set in, fast. The guilt you felt for being the catalyst for over a month for not speaking to your best friend was washing over you. Your heart rate was through the roof, and your palms were beginning to sweat.
Jack sensed your change in mood, and pulled away from you to look you up and down.
“Are you hungry? Do you want to shower? Or take a nap?” He was nervous, too.
“I ate before my flight. And showered this morning. And it’s 11am, so I think I’m good on the nap front. But I do think we should… we should talk. About everything.” You were basically tripping over your words at this point, but Jack’s reassuring nod helped to calm your nerves.
Wordlessly, Jack took your hand and led you over to the couch, gesturing for you to sit. You sat down and faced him, crossing your legs and resting your hands on your knees, still fidgeting with your hoodie sleeves.
“I’m sorry - “ You both said unanimously, a gentle laughter filling the room.
“I’m sorry I needed so much time apart, J. It fucking sucked, and it was my fault, and I just didn’t -” You began to ramble, only stopping when Jack leaned over and squeezed your knee reassuringly.
“You only needed that time because I was an asshole, sugar. It’s on me, really. I had no right to treat you like an occasional friend, or something that I shouldn’t prioritise -” Jack paused as you cringed, remembering the text messages that referred to his time with you as “boring family bullshit”.
“I was thinking with my dick, not with my head, and that’s not fair on anyone.” You shot Jack a weird look, and he looked sheepish in return.
“Quinn… Quinn said that to me. After you told him to tell me about the messages. He’s right, thought. It wasn’t fair.” Jack continued, pausing to take a deep breath.
“This whole… thing, this life -” Jack gestured broadly at the apartment around you, and you glanced around properly for the first time. Framed jerseys of Luke and Jack’s adorned the walls.Various photos of the Hughes family scattered about the place. The fridge, with a gas bill stuck to it, along with a polaroid of you and Jack from last Christmas. And a photo from your senior prom. And a group photo of everyone from last summer at the lake house, Jack’s mouth open in laughter with his arm slung over your bikini-clad shoulders.
“It’s all I thought I ever wanted. And it’s amazing, and I’m so grateful. But it’s worth nothing to me, the money, the girls -” You felt yourself involuntarily cringe again. “The fame, the accolades, it’s worth nothing to me without the people that I love by my side. And if those people don’t know how much I love and appreciate them, because I treat them like shit, then that’s on me. No one else. Me.”
You sat quietly, taking in Jack’s emphatic statement. You weren’t quite sure what to say. So instead, you gently reached over and took Jack’s hand in yours, lacing your fingers through his and squeezing softly, for a moment while you gathered your thoughts.
“I know the life you live, Jack. You don’t have to be sorry for it. Playing hockey was all you ever dreamed of, and I honestly can’t blame you for… enjoying… all the perks it comes with.” You swallowed the wave of nausea that hit you, before continuing.
“I don’t… I don’t know what life looks like without you in it. The last month was such a bizarre experience, and not one that I ever want to repeat, but I also… I need to… Can I be honest?” You spoke softly, glancing up from your hands to meet Jack’s gaze, and he nodded encouragingly at you.
“I wasn’t just upset because you made me feel like I was inconveniencing you, or cock-blocking you -” It was Jack’s turn to cringe. “I think I was upset because I was jealous. Because that will never, ever be me. And I think… I think I want it to be? Maybe? Fuck, I don’t know!” You dropped Jack’s hand and stood up from the couch, and started to pace the room.
“Sugar, please sit down.” Jack pleaded, and you paused, looking back at him on the couch. One look was all you needed, and you narrowed your eyes at the smirk on his dumb face.
“Why are you smirking? I am experiencing emotional distress, you asshole.” You seethed, running your hands through your hair in frustration.
“Tell me more about this jealousy thing. I’m intrigued.” Jack’s tone was light and teasing, and washed over you like sour milk. Your head whipped in his direction and your face must’ve said a thousand words, because Jack’s smirk soon disappeared and he hurriedly stood up and walked over, reaching out to touch you.
“See, this -” You jabbed a finger into Jack’s chest. “This is why I have avoided this conversation for almost my entire life. Because you think it’s hilarious that we could ever go down that path. That we could ever be something more than what we are. Because I’m not good enough,or pretty enough, or just enough and I never will be, and I hate it. I hate it so much.” Your voice cracked on the last few words, and you felt the hot tears start to bubble out of your eyes and stream down your face.
Jack didn’t say a word. He didn’t have to. He pulled you into a hug, bringing his hand up to your face and gently brushing away the tears with his thumbs.
“Breathe, sugar. You need to calm down.” Jack said quietly, willing you to calm. That just made you cry harder.
You were about to pull away, when you felt Jack cup your face with both hands, before leaning in to kiss you.

You were a sunshine. A light in most people's lives and an innocent little ball of happiness. No one could ever except you getting mixed up with the infamous biker gang, Ateez. Especially getting caught up with the ruthless leader. And yet, how come you are sitting sweetly on his couch in his office while he finishes off a phone call he had to answer just moments after your mouth was prettily wrapped around his cock. To say he was annoyed would be an understatement but alas he needed to answer the call or he knew Seonghwa would bark at him for missing yet another important call with a business client all because he was too busy with you...
His little plaything. His secret doll.
You both knew the match was unlikely and that most people, especially your family, would disapprove of the relationship. But neither of you cared. In fact, it thrilled you to know the idea of your father being broken over the fact that his useless waste of space of a daughter was sleeping with the enemy. Loud music suddenly pooled into the quiet office as one of Hongjoong’s men came raring in, wanting his boss's attention.
“Sir, I…” His words caught in his throat when he noticed was not only interrupted his boss on a phone call but there was a very pretty woman in nothing but one of Hongjoong’s shirts, sitting so patiently on the couch in the corner of the room. You gave the young boy a smirk, his face already turning a bright shade of pink.
“What?” Your lover's voice grew rougher, almost possessive as he disapproves of the way the younger male was eye fucking your form. You quickly caught Hongjoong’s eyes, and your mind sparked an idea. You were going to give this other man a show. So you stood up without a second thought, letting the shirt ride up slightly, so he could get a good view of your black lace panties. Your legs were on complete display for both men, hearing a low growl rumble from the big biker boss.
You sidestepped so you could move behind the office desk where your beefy lover boy was standing but instead of walking the short way, you purposely walked in front of the younger male, letting your hips brush passed him gently, almost enough to make him stiffen. “S-Seonghwa is…uh, h-here…” The young one stutters, feeling your body against his growing erection.
You finally make your way to the other side of the desk, bringing your hands to your lover's chest. Hongjoongs hands snaked against your waist the moment he felt your leg step in between his, touching his cock with your thigh. There is a smirk painting your features, making Hongjoong know exactly what game you are playing. So, without a second thought, Joong’s hands grip a handful of your ass, squeezing your cheeks in front of the poor boy. You moaned, not holding back from your little show, and Hongjoong was eating all of it up.
“Tell him to wait outside, unless he wants to witness me fucking my darling princess stupid.” His voice echoed in the room, making your glossed eyes, scan his face with anticipation. You had always wanted Seonghwa to join you or even just watch from afar. The idea of him sitting in the corner of the room pumping his cock while watching Hongjoong rail you on his desk, it sends a chill down your spine.
The young boy ran so quickly out of the room it almost made you laugh, but you didn’t have time for that as Joong pushed you onto the desk, pushing all the papers and important files onto the floor letting your back hit the table with a huff. Hongjoong’s lips latched onto your neck, grinding his hips on yours. His rough jeans felt so delicious against your clit as your choked-up moans catch your throat, then your eyes suddenly catch a tall, beefy glass of walking sin, standing in the door frame with crossed arms and a smirk.
“Look what we have here.” Seonghwa’s voice sent a tingle through your body as your eyes locked on his. Hongjoong’s bites got harsh, making your moans grow loud, and the only thing coming to mind was that tonight was going to be fun.

Tim Bradford doesn’t believe in love at first sight. Or he didn’t before he met you. Your sunny personality drew him in, making his world a little brighter. From the moment he met you a few months ago, Tim has been enraptured by you. He’s still grumpy; his personality didn’t change overnight upon meeting you, but your sweet laugh and kind responses to his grumpiness make him happy. His smile isn’t as rare as it once was, but you still fight to see it, bringing as much sunshine as possible.
As your two-month anniversary approaches, you’re happier and giddier than usual. Toning it down as you knock on Tim’s door, you’re surprised to see him already smiling when he invites you in. It seems you’re rubbing off on him, even if he only shows you the softness that lies under the grumpy Tim you know and love. Although your relationship is very new, you haven’t even learned much about Tim’s previous relationships, you know you love him and treasure every moment you spend with your man of honor.
“Hey, you,” Tim mumbles, pulling you into a warm hug. “Missed you.”
“Long day?” you ask, pushing your fingers through his hair.
“Unbelievably. Nolan and Lopez decided to interrogate me about why I was in a ‘good mood’ all day.”
You stifle a laugh at Tim’s air quotes. He rolls his eyes when he sees your bright smile but pulls you into the kitchen anyway.
“I didn’t even know you could smile,” you tease him. “Now I want to know what caused the good mood.”
“I think you know.”
Despite his initial hesitance in getting close to you, Tim obviously knows how to treat you right and make you feel seen, appreciated, beautiful, and loved. Each moment you spend with him makes you a little more curious as to why no one has snatched him up yet. Yes, he’s grumpy, but he’s also just a big teddy bear underneath if you’re willing to dig.
✯✯✯✯✯
Tim usually walks you home after dates, but he gets called into work, so you return alone. There is a small envelope slipped in the space between your door and the jamb, and you decide to open it before going inside.
The simple message reading ‘Back Off’ doesn’t give much information, so you shrug as you unlock the door. It’s probably just some kids messing around or a silly prank that ended up at the wrong house.
As soon as you lock the door behind you, your phone rings.
“Hello,” you greet cheerfully.
The line is silent for a few seconds before it beeps, disconnected from the other end.
“Wrong number,” you hum to yourself as you walk away from the phone.
When it rings again, you don’t answer. Your cell phone rings, a rare picture of Tim smiling (that he will delete as soon as he finds it) lighting up your screen as you race to answer it.
“Hey,” you say.
“I called your house a second ago, are you home yet?”
“Oh, yeah. Sorry, someone called right before with a wrong number, and I thought it was them again.”
Tim hums before telling you he wouldn’t be at work as long as he thought; he just needed to help with some paperwork before a case went to court.
“I can get reservations for next weekend if you’re still okay with my restaurant choice.”
You smile at Tim’s willingness to let you choose before assuring him that you only want to be with him, but you like the food there, too, so it’s a win-win.
After Tim hangs up, you fall asleep, forgetting about the note and the phone call.
✯✯✯✯✯
Someone knocks on your door as you exit your bedroom the following morning. You locate a bathrobe, pulling it over your pajamas before opening the door. Another envelope is on your mat, but no one is in sight.
The message in this one is a bit more concerning. The message, typed in a plain black font, reads: ‘I will KILL you to take him back.’
You consider calling Tim, asking him if he knows of any pranks like this going on in the neighborhood before deciding he’s probably too busy with real police work. Maybe you’re just paranoid.
Your cell phone rings, and you answer quickly, silencing when the only noise on the other end is distorted breathing. After they hang up, your thumb hovers over Tim’s number.
“Grow up,” you chide yourself before returning to your room to get ready.
✯✯✯✯✯
Throughout the day, more creepy phone calls are made to your cell phone until you finally turn it off. When you meet Tim for lunch, he asks if you got the message he sent you, and you tell him a white lie: too many telemarketers were calling, and you turned it off. He nods, but his gaze is intense like he doesn’t quite believe you.
✯✯✯✯✯
After three days of phone calls with nothing but breathing and more notes about someone killing you to get whoever him is back from you, you’re tired. However, the morning goes by with no calls, and you think maybe whatever it was is finally over. When you walk out to your car, you freeze in the driveway and nearly drop everything you’re holding.
Someone has slashed your tire and put a large building nail through it to attach a note.
You are next.
Up to this point, you’ve been more agitated than anything, but now you’re scared. Whoever this is has been close to you and knows when you come and go. But, at the same time, it’s just some notes and phone calls, not like you’re in any immediate danger.
Your phone buzzes, and you jump, an incoming text from Tim startling you. You reply to his message quickly, telling him you ran over a nail at some point and won’t be able to meet him for lunch. Seconds after pressing send, he calls you.
“Morning,” you answer, staring at the nail in your tire.
“Are you alright?” he asks, ignoring your nice greeting.
“Yeah, I’m fine. I’m still at home, just noticed the tire.”
“I can come pick you up for lunch,” he offers. “Or come see you.”
“It’s completely out of the way, Tim, no worries. I’ll make up for it tomorrow?”
Tim doesn’t speak for a moment, and you can nearly see the crease on his forehead as he dissects your answers.
“Sure,” he says finally. “Call me if that changes.”
As he ends the call, he rubs his chin and decides to ask you what’s going on next time he sees you. You had been so happy and excited leading up to your anniversary, but it’s like a switch was flipped in you, and now you don’t want to talk to him. He believes you about the tire, but something else is bothering you, and he intends to find out what.
✯✯✯✯✯
Eating lunch at your desk, someone brings you a box from your favorite bakery.
“This was delivered to the front desk,” your coworker says, leaving it with you.
There are no names on it, but Tim is one of very few people who knows how much you like their treats. He also knows that you have severe food allergies, and it is one of the few bakeries in Los Angeles that happily works around them. Smiling at the idea of Tim sending you something after your rough morning, you open the box and take one of the goodies out.
After the third or fourth bite, you realize something is really wrong. As your throat closes, you start to panic as you dig through your bag for your epi-pen. One of the girls at a desk near you sees you and rushes to your aid, pulling your spare epi-pen from the communal snack area and inserting the tip into your leg as she yells for someone else to call 911.
The adrenaline surges into you, clearing your throat as you take a deep breath. Immediately, you know that whoever slashed your tires knows more than where you live and when you leave.
✯✯✯✯✯
The hospital is busy, and people are in and out of your room so frequently that you can barely think straight. You hear someone yell your name, recognizing Tim’s voice anywhere. He appears in the doorway a moment later, wide-eyed as he looks you over.
“I completely forgot I put you as my emergency contact. I’m so sorry,” you apologize lowly.
“What happened?” he asks, his voice softer than it was outside as he nears your side.
“I- I ate something and forgot to check the ingredients. Then I couldn’t find my epi-pen.”
Tim knows you always check the ingredients; your allergies dictate part of your life. If you didn’t make it or order it after inquiring about its ingredients or how it’s made, you don’t eat it.
“How are you feeling now?” Tim asks, deciding it’s not the best time to press for the truth. His hand lands on your leg, rubbing gentle circles with his thumb.
“I’m okay. My chest is still a little tight but they gave me something for it.”
“Let me call my chief and I’ll take the rest of the day off so I can take you home,” he offers.
“No, don’t do that, Tim. One of my coworkers can give me a ride home so you can go back to work.”
“I don’t think you should be alone.”
“The medicine is working, I just have to give it time and take it easy for a few hours. I promise I will be fine.”
Tim nods, squeezing your hand before kissing your forehead. “If you need anything, call me.”
You nod, watching him go. The feeling of his hand on yours is still there, and you feel terrible for lying to him, but there’s no real evidence that someone is trying to hurt you. Maybe someone was trying to be kind with the treats and didn’t know about your allergies.
Even as you think it, you realize it sounds ridiculous. You’re in danger, and you’re going to have to tell someone eventually.
✯✯✯✯✯
Your coworker drops you off after you insist you can walk to the door alone. Mostly, you don’t want her to see the giant nail in your tire.
Worse, you realize, is the other one. You slow when you see your front door, with a six-inch building nail driven into it. It’s nearly level with your eyes, and a disgusting mix of red and brown paint covers the door below it. A replica of a murder scene, you presume.
Finally understanding that every little thing over the last few days has been a threat, you don’t feel safe alone in your house. Stepping back, you prepare to call Tim.
Before you can, you see a woman standing in your driveway, staring at you with a nail gun and a paintbrush hanging from her hand.
“Who are you?” you ask quietly, swallowing as you try to steady your voice.
“I’m the one that Tim Bradford is supposed to be with,” she answers, slowly moving toward you. “Everyone could see how good we were together. Then you showed up and he changed his mind about me. Whatever you did to get him away from me… I will do so much more to you.”
You step backward as she speaks, fumbling with your keys behind your back. Just as she reaches the front of your porch, you step inside quickly and slam the door, locking it and looking around frantically for something you can use as a weapon. It gets quiet outside, not even a footstep audible as you hold your breath to listen.
A key slides easily into your lock, and you scramble into the kitchen, loosening your grip on your stuff to grab a knife on your way to the bathroom, one of the only doors that lock. The front door closes and locks, her easy footsteps far too familiar with the layout of your home.
Reaching for your phone to call for help, you realize that you dropped your phone to get the knife. You stand in front of the bathtub, terrified as you raise the knife in front of your chest.
After a moment of silence that seems to last an eternity, the doorknob jiggles. You tighten your grip on the knife handle as she hums.
A nail shoots through the lock, lodging in the metal mechanisms, and you back up until your calves are pressed to the cool side of the tub. Another nail comes through the door, launching through the hollow wood and lodging into the tile on the wall behind you. You drop your head as the tile shatters, and a third nail follows quickly, her aim much lower as it hooks your pants, pinning you to the porcelain behind you. You rip your leg free, stepping away from the tub and failing to notice the stinging sensation or the blood trickling down your ankle as you climb into the tub, hoping it offers enough protection.
✯✯✯✯✯
Tim clenches his jaw when his third call to you goes unanswered. You promised to keep him updated after the anaphylaxis scare, but it’s been a couple hours since he left you in the hospital, and he hasn't heard a thing.
“Tim, just go,” Angela says, a knowing look on her face. “You won’t be able to focus until you know they’re okay. Unless you’re finally willing to tell me who brought a little sunshine to Timothy Bradford’s cloudy skies,” she taunts at the end.
Tim lets out a soft “hmm,” accepting her offer and gathering his things from the edge of her desk.
“She must be important,” Angela calls behind him, smirking to herself when he doesn’t correct her.
✯✯✯✯✯
Your breaths are loud and shaky even as you focus on controlling them. Several more clicks are heard from the nail gun, and you flinch each time, curling further into the bathtub. A loud screech draws your attention, a second nail dislodging the knob and the lock before the door opens.
You take your chance, hoping to surprise her as you jump toward her, knocking her to the floor and using both hands to point the nail gun away from you. She tries to roll out from under you, squeezing the trigger and firing a nail into the ceiling as she does. A small shower of drywall dust coats the room, but you keep your head down, entirely focused on keeping her at arm’s length.
“When it ends – when you end – I get him back!” she grunts, twisting in your grasp.
The sharper end of the paintbrush she had earlier is pushed into your side, and you gasp, loosening your grip on the nail gun. She raises it quickly as she tilts to the side, dumping you onto the floor and taking the upper hand. A nail is fired beside your head, momentarily deafening you as you flinch away from it.
You are unsure if she said him or Tim, but you think she means the same either way. Tim is the only thing you can think of that someone might want to take back from you.
“Isn’t that his choice?” you ask, pushing her hands away from you as she gets angrier.
She drops the paintbrush before using both hands to push the nail gun toward your forehead. You raise your legs, kicking her forward and over your head. As she topples, she squeezes the trigger multiple times. After the last firing sound, you open your eyes and notice a nail holding your shirt to the floor.
When you hear her groan behind you, you reach over until you feel the metal trash can beside your toilet, raising it over your head and dropping it aimlessly.
✯✯✯✯✯
Tim has dozens of questions he wants to ask, but as he races to your house, they slowly fade into two: are you safe, and how can he make you see that telling him everything will benefit you both? He knows he doesn’t always seem like the best listener and isn’t big on sharing, but he wants to know what is happening in your life, what you’re feeling, and what you’re dealing with. More than that, he wants to be at your side, helping you navigate a life with him.
✯✯✯✯✯
The door opens with a loud bang, causing you to flinch. You attempt to sit up before yelping in pain when something tugs your side. Someone is running through your house, and you’re torn between yelling for help or staying silent in case she wasn’t working alone.
Tim yells your name, and you sigh before answering, “In the bathroom.”
✯✯✯✯✯
When Tim turns into your driveway, blocking the sidewalk as he parks behind your car, he sees the oversized nail protruding from your tire. Walking past it, he knows that wasn’t accidental, nor was the slash below it.
Worried about you and racking his brain over who would do something like that to you, he sees the scene on your door and kicks it open before he even thinks to knock.
✯✯✯✯✯
Tim stops in the hallway, his eyes raking over the nails lining the door and the few stray ones in the wall across the hallway. It appears that most of the attack was aimed at the bathroom, but whatever happened escalated quickly.
Using his shoulder, he forcefully opens the door before entering the small bathroom. He steps over your unconscious assailant, lowering to his knee beside you. Looking over you, he lays a hand on the side of your neck, a warm and welcome comfort as he directs you to look at him.
You try to move closer to him, but he rushes to stop you.
“Don’t. Don’t move. The ambulance and more help are on the way, let’s just wait for them,” he says.
You nod, trusting him but unsure why he won’t let you move.
“Is she…” you ask, trailing off.
“She’s unconscious,” Tim answers concisely. “What’d you hit her with?”
“The trashcan,” you answer, a small smile appearing and making Tim shake his head.
“I should get one of those,” Tim jokes, leaning toward you.
Sirens grow louder as they get closer, and Tim sighs in relief.
“Are you okay?” he asks. “I can’t ask what happened yet, that’s for the next cop. But as your boyfriend, are you okay?”
“I am now,” you answer, raising your hand to lay over his on your jaw.
✯✯✯✯✯
“Do you know who she is?” the officer asks as the EMT sits beside you.
“No,” you answer. “I’ve been getting phone calls and messages for a few days, but I’ve never seen her before.”
“I have,” Tim interjects, shaking his head at you before supplying a name. “My ex.”
“Any idea as to why she attacked you?” the officer asks, glancing toward Tim.
“Sergeant Bradford, I presume. She said she’d kill me to get him back, but never said who him was,” you answer.
Tim nods, lowering his voice to explain something to the officer as the EMT asks questions about how you feel.
You sigh in relief as the paramedics carry Tim’s unconscious ex out, gripping Tim’s hand as he moves to your side again.
“This is going to hurt, I’m sorry,” the kind EMT says.
Tim moves his fingers, letting you squeeze him as much as you need.
“The nail caught some of your skin, but I’m going to try to go fast to minimize the pain.”
Understanding why it hurt to sit up before, you focus on Tim’s hand in yours rather than the hands on your torso, working to free you from the bathroom floor and stop the bleeding.
“All done,” the EMT announces. “You didn’t even flinch. We’ll get you to the hospital and let the doctors check everything.”
You sit up with Tim’s help, leaning against him as a temporary bandage is placed on your side. Looking around your destroyed bathroom, you move closer to Tim, grateful for him.
“Your ex is crazy,” you mumble against his shoulder.
Tim laughs, and it's a short but relieved noise accompanying his arm across your back, keeping you close and comforted.
“We’ll fix the bathroom later,” he promises.
You tilt your head and furrow your brows, prompting Tim to kiss the crease between them. “You’re not coming back here for a few days. Don’t give me that look.”
✯✯✯✯✯
Leaving the hospital, Tim lifts you from the wheelchair, staring at you when you grab his shoulders.
“I can walk, Tim,” you remind him.
He doesn’t listen or doesn’t care, taking the last few steps to the passenger seat and setting you down before buckling your seat belt, mindful of your bandaged side. He carries you into his house, grabbing some of your favorite snacks and drinks before sitting beside you and welcoming you into his arms. He’s quiet, but you’ve grown to understand Tim’s different silences better than most people’s words.
Right now, he’s relieved, but you’re sure he has a lot of questions, too. Getting him to ask them is the hard part.
“Have any other exes I should know about?” you ask after a few minutes.
“Hmm.” He raises his fingers as he nods and shakes his head, a playful ‘debate’ over who is worthy of being mentioned. Lowering his hands and giving you a sincere look, he says, “No, I don’t think so. And I’m sorry I didn’t mention her, I never expected she’d do something like this.”
You nod, though you never considered blaming him for something so completely out of his control. This is all on her, and she’ll have a chance to explain herself.
“Think I’d be a crazy ex?”
“You won’t be an ex at all,” Tim answers, tugging you closer against his chest.
Turning toward him, you trace your finger in small shapes over his chest.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” Tim asks gently.
You shrug. “I didn’t know how. And it wasn’t that bad at first.”
“You have to tell me these things or I don’t know something is wrong, I can’t help.”
“But you get grumpy,” you reply with an exaggerated pout.
Tim proves you right, grumbling even as he kisses you. “I’m allowed to be grumpy when someone is hurting the woman I love.”
You sit up quickly, and Tim’s eyes widen, his hands raising to your side as he grows concerned that you hurt yourself.
“You love me?”
Tim shakes his head, rolling his eyes as he mutters, “Against my better judgment, yes.”
You giggle at his grumpiness, leaning back into his side. He pulls your legs across his lap, letting you curl completely into his side. Toying with the hem of his your borrowed sweatpants, Tim lets his mind wander before tracing a gentle finger around the bandage on your ankle.
“Tickles,” you argue when you yank your leg away from him.
Tim pulls your leg back down, pointing out, “I deserve a few tickles after the week you put me through.”
“I was poisoned, and you had a bad week?” you repeat.
“I knew you were lying, you lying liar that lies!”
You duck your head at the reminder of everything you kept from Tim over the last few days. The anniversary you were so excited about now seems tainted.
“Hey,” Tim whispers, drawing your attention. “I’m not mad at you. And whenever you’re ready to talk about it, I’m right here.”
“I don’t even know how she found out about the allergies,” you mumble.
“That’s probably my fault. I have notes and epi-pens everywhere, so if she was close enough to do this to you, she was close enough to find any of my stuff laying around.”
You shiver at the idea of her going through your things, but Tim’s hand rubs down your back and chases those thoughts away.
Taking his invitation, you start at the beginning and tell him about the notes, the phone calls, the bakery box, and how the little, seemingly harmless notes progressed so quickly. He grows grumpier with each word, so you determine you may need to make the ending a bit more interesting for him.
“And then my knight in shining armor showed up and saved the day,” you finish, kissing his cheek. “He’s just a grumpy teddy bear.”
Tim pulls you closer, glad to have your company again. “Tell me things and I’ll be even more of a teddy bear.”
You smile excitedly, so Tim clarifies, “Only for you.”

You awake to specks of light peeking in through the drawn tasseled curtains and a morning dove cooing its soft tune up on the roof. You blink once, twice and rub the sleep from your tired eyes. The room is still, almost a parallel world inside these walls compared to the outside gates of Jackson.
You lay in nothing in the king sized bed, only the tossed up cotton sheets to cover you. That’s not all that covers you though. No. Joel’s massive body crowds your space and his thick arms cage you to him as he drapes them around you and holds you up against his broad chest. His thick fingers are entwined with yours, and you can’t help but feel a wave of intense emotion flow through you from the feel of it all. The feel of him. Joel. Your soft, gentle man that only shows that side of himself to you. Only you.
A smile tugs at your heartstrings and a wet tear rolls down to the pillow from the corner of your eye as you take it all in. He’s yours. Yours, yours, yours. And you belong to him. His, his, his. It’s like a love song that plays through your mind, winding around all your brain cells and making its way down to your beating heart that only beats for him. Just for him, only him.
His slow breaths are relaxed and deep behind you as he sleeps with his head rested in the crook of your neck. You can smell him, taste him as his lips kiss the side of your jawline, the scruff of his beard tickling the inside of your neck, and his tousled curls fall against your cheek, sticking to the sweat that remains from last night.
You remember last night so clearly. It was one of the best nights of your life. Every night with Joel is like that, like a dream you were sucked into, and you just can’t wrap your head around that it’s real. He’s real. Your perfect, brooding man that never goes a day without showing you how much he really loves you.
Love. The first time he ever told you was a week ago while he held you tight in his arms inside the bathtub. You remember, remember like it was just seconds ago. The way he took your hand and turned you around to face him. The way he so gently cupped your chin and stroked his calloused thumb up and down your jawline. The way he looked so intensely into your eyes with those doe eyes that were flecked with spots of sunshine that shine only for you. And the way he called you his ray of sunshine, sending your heart spiraling out of your chest from just the way he was looking at you. His soft gaze said it all. He was in love with you. And the way that the words tumbled from his mouth like it was effortless to him made tears well up in your eyes.
“My ray of sunshine. My beautiful, perfect girl,” he hummed out as he stroked your cheek and pushed back a flyaway hair behind your ear. He paused a second later, his eyes melding into yours like two hearts that beat for each other. And then he said it. He said the words. “I love you,” he whispered down at you, and that’s when the tears fell. Those happy, glistening tears that fell just for him as you said the words back to him. Slow and steady, like how your heart beats for him. Like a sea of galloping horses that run wild together on the shorelines of the ocean, free and happy.
And then there was last night. Your muscles still ached from all the love making, all the different positions he had you twisted in. And how many times did he make you cum? Three, four? You couldn’t remember. That part was a blur as he made you cum over and over again. A fresh wave of slick sticks to your thighs as you squeeze your legs tight as you remember it all.
You remember his head in between your thighs, first. How he worked you nice and slow, building that first orgasm as his rough tongue meticulously lapped circles over your clit, how he tugged and pulled you into his mouth, how his fingers curled up inside you again and again, hitting that sweet spongy spot that made you see stars. Remember the way he thrusted into you time and time again, filling you up with his seed as he rutted his hips into yours over and over again. How your legs were thrown over his shoulders as he crowded your body and showered you with gentle praises and worshipped your body over and over again.
That’s a good girl. Good fuckin’ girl. That’s it, sweetheart. Come on, baby. Look at me, show me how pretty you are when you cum for me, wanna see ya.
God, he was so… perfect. In every way. You just couldn’t get enough of him. Never wanted to get enough.
You hear him stir behind you as a low groan comes from deep within his chest and feel his arms hug you tighter as he slowly opens his eyes to the harsh sunlight. You feel his lips graze your jawline as he leaves gentle kisses all the way up to the shell of your ear which makes your heart skip a beat.
“Mornin’, baby,” he whispers in your ear as another groan leaves his chest as he turns you his way and lets his hands drop down to your waist.
“Morning, handsome,” you say with a huge grin spread taut across your lips. He smiles back at you, and those cute dimples appear on his cheeks, making you blush at the sight. You push his tousled locks back and he groans as your fingers scrape against his skull. A deep groan escapes his mouth, and then he’s pulling your right leg over his thigh, opening you up for him to have access to.
“And how are you feeling this mornin’, sore?” he asks as he slides his hand down your torso, carefully ghosting his hand over your center as you shiver in response.
“Not really,” you gasp out as he slowly runs a finger over your folds, collecting slick on his fingers and spreading it all over your sex. You moan out in response and let him continue, opening your thigh up a little more for him.
“Mmm good. Because I’m hungry, and I know exactly what I want to feast on,” he smirks. “You’re so fuckin’ wet for me already. Fuck,” he growls out as he turns you on your back and slides in between your thighs, slowly lifting your legs over his shoulders as you shutter in response. Touch me, taste me, you want to scream out. But he knows. He knows that’s what you want.
He slowly trails kisses up your thighs as he gets you all worked up. Slowly teasing and making you drip more for him as his thick beard tickles in between your thighs, as his large hands splay across your hips. He gets right to your center and stops just for a second to admire your glistening cunt.
“God, you’re so fuckin’ pretty, baby,” he gawks as his eyes turn an amber color, his love swirling all around the flecks of his irises for you, and it makes your heart nearly stop at the sight.
“Yeah? You like what you see?” you ask with a shaky breath.
“Mhm, fuckin’ love it.” He takes his calloused thumb and spreads you apart, slowly caressing all the most sensitive spots of you. He gets up to your clit and circles and circles, eliciting a moan out of you.
“Fuck,” you whimper out, your hands grabbing the sheets as you bunch them around your fingers.
“You want more?” he asks in a husky breath, his broad shoulders flexing with every movement he makes.
“Mhm, please,” you beg, writhing underneath his touch.
He chuckles under his breath, and his eyes turn darker, more carnal as he stares up at you in between your open legs. He pulls you down further in the bed and gently blows down on your center, making your hips buck up in response. He pushes them back down and lowers his head to your pulsing center. His eyes never leave yours, they stay focused intently on you, just like a hawk watching its prey. And then he licks a long stripe from your dripping hole, all the way up your folds as his pupils expand into black pits. The image has you shuttering under his touch.
“Eyes on me now. That’s it. Just like that,” he commands as he drops back down on your cunt. He spreads your folds with his tongue, eagerly soaking each fold with the base of his tongue, slowly making his way to your aching clit. And when he finds it, he attacks. He circles and circles it with a steady pace, gently pulling it in his mouth and sucking, making your moans echo around the room as he works you up, builds that growing orgasm as you feel it already setting it. It’s right there in the base of your spine, the pressure building in the pit of your stomach. He’s so fucking good at this, at eating you out. You never last long. He’s just that good. The artist that can make love to you with only his tongue, and it feels so good.
He pushes two fingers inside your dripping hole and slowly works them up and down, up and down, curling till he meets that sweet spot that has you sending more slick over his fingers. His tongue doesn’t stop. He keeps working at your throbbing bundle of nerves, keeps sucking and nipping and licking until you’re a puddle underneath him. His beard is glistening with your wetness, and it’s probably the hottest thing you’ve ever seen in your life.
“Joellll, feels so good. I’m so close… I’m almost there-I..” your voice breaks off as he takes you into his mouth again, slowly sucking on that spot that does it for you. You squeeze against his fingers inside you, your walls fluttering as you’re about to shatter. Almost there, almost. You tangle your fingers into his tousled curls, and he groans at the sensation.
“Come on, give it to me. Let me see you cum, baby. Remember, eyes on me. Wanna see those pretty eyes focused on me when I make you cum,” he growls as he pushes up inside you more, licks up and down until he’s pulling you into his mouth again. You feel the cap break inside you, feel the hot sensation taking over as you start to lose it, start to fall apart in your intense orgasm.
“Joel, I… I’m…” you can’t finish your sentence, too fucked out at the moment.
“Let me have it, pretty girl. Give me all you got,” he growls as he sucks you into his hot mouth again. And then it’s over. You’re cumming, hard.
You moan out his name and squeeze your legs around him as your eyesight goes blurry, but you focus on him, never leaving his blown out pupils as he stares up at you like a starving wolf that wants to feast on you. You let yourself go, let your walls clench up before you release white, hot liquid all over his fingers, all over his mouth.
“That’s a good fuckin’ girl,” he praises as he groans out, licking up all your spent liquid as he slowly works his fingers inside you, curling them until he has every ounce of cum that you can give him right now. You breathe out breathy moans as he licks at your now sensitive area, cleaning you up carefully as he devours you, tastes you over and over again. And you can never get enough of this. Of him, his fingers, his tongue, his soft praises. He’s too good, too good.
When he’s finished, he crawls out between your legs and joins you at the head of the bed, wrapping his arms around your waist as he presses a gentle kiss to your forehead. “Did so good for me, baby. So good,” he praises as he traces your bottom lip with his calloused thumb and presses his lips against yours slowly, delicately, like a rose petal just blossomed at the first sight of spring. He’s so gentle, so loving, so perfect.
When he pulls apart, he traces your jawline as his eyes turn to that warm honey color you love. “You want me to make you some coffee?” he asks with a gentle curve of a smile that envelops his mouth.
“I’d love some,” you respond as you beam up at him with a deep blush on your face.
“Okay, I’ll go make you some then,” he says as he pulls away, slowly sliding off the bed.
“Joel, wait,” you say urgently as your hand shoots out to grab his wrist, preventing him from going any further out of the room.
He looks back at you with his dark eyebrow raised, questions lingering in those honeyed eyes of his. God, he looks so good standing there in nothing but a pair of black briefs that hug him close as you see the outline of his hard cock planted against them. His broad chest expands as his breathing is still rapid, his large veins cascading down his thick arms as his tousled locks stick up everywhere, like he’d just had morning sex, which he did. Mornings with him were your favorite thing in the entire world, he was your favorite.
“What is it?” he asks as he stands still, eyes meeting yours in question.
“I need something else from you. You need something from me,” you say shallowly as your eyes trail down to his hard erection under the thin material of his briefs.
“You want me to fuck you?” he asks as his eyes turn a darker shade of molasses, a color you want to drink up, let him devour you with his sweetness.
“Fuck me,” you whisper as you bite your lower lip and spread your legs for him as you show him just how wet you are again. His eyes trail down your body and end at your center as he breathes in and lets out a deep sigh, his hand dragging through his coarse scruff on his face slowly.
“Goddamn,” he groans at the sight of you. He doesn’t waste a second. He drops his briefs to the floor and climbs in between your legs, pushing them apart as he stares in wonder at your glistening sex.
You lean forward and wrap your hand around his thick cock, tracing the lines of his large vein that runs under his glistening head, all the way down his large length. The tip of him is swollen and red, and precum leaks from his slit as you work it up and down him, hearing the wet noises you make as you fist him with your palm, enjoying seeing his eyes cloud over in a fog the more you touch him.
“Fuck, sweetheart. Feels so good,” he groans as you lightly circle his tip, finding all the sensitive spots as more precum gathers over the swollen tip of him. Before you can continue working your hand over him, he pushes you down on the pillow and wraps your legs around his back as he pushes the head of his cock to your opening, barely thrusting inside before he speaks again.
“Hold on tight, love. Gonna make you feel so good,” he groans as he pushes his way inside you, stretching you to the max as he pushes deeper and deeper, until he’s bottoming out and hitting the back of your walls.
“Fuck,” you moan out as he starts to move at a steady pace. In and out, up and down as you hear the wetness of each other as he slams back into you over and over again.
His lips come down and nip at your collarbone as his hands knead over your breasts, making your nipples pebble underneath him as he rolls them under his calloused thumbs. He speeds up his tempo, angling your hips higher as he hits your spongy area time and time again, making your eyes glass over at the intense bliss you’re experiencing.
“Squeezin’ me so tight, baby. Feels so good. You’re so close, so fuckin’ close. Come on and give it to me. Show me how pretty you can cum on this cock,” he growls as he presses down on your throbbing clit, circling you until you’re screaming out his name and breathing ragged moans into his ear.
“Good girl. Come on, baby. Wanna feel it,” he groans as he thrusts into you deeper, circling your clit in the exact spot you need him to. You rake your fingers down his back and moan out as your legs squeeze the back of him. One more circle of your clit, and you’re done for. You clench up around his thick cock and release all your pent up white hot liquid on him and feel your eyes roll back at the blissful, fucked out feeling. Your body feels electric as you hear white noise spread through your ringing ears and take a minute to come back to reality. Back to your body after that blissed out high.
“That’s a good fuckin’ girl. So good,” he groans as he thrusts faster into you, his breathing hitching as his jaw flexes and his hands clamp up around your hips. “Gonna-fuckin’…cum. Ah, fuck,” he moans as he snaps his hips once more into you and releases his seed all over you, filling you up as his jaw goes slack and his eyes roll back. His breathing is heavy and ragged, slowly coming back to himself as he pulls slowly out of you, dragging his spend with him down your thighs.
He collapses next to you, and both of you just breathe as you catch your breath for the next few minutes. “That was incredible,” you gasp out as you fold into his arms, your heart rate going a thousand miles at the moment.
“Mmm, yes. Always is with you,” he groans out, a thick southern accent spilling out of him. And you love it, love his accent, love him.
After a few minutes of snuggling together, he gets up and grabs a towel from the bathroom. When he comes back, he gently cleans you off, careful not to overstimulate your sensitive areas. “There ya go, all cleaned up,” he rasps as he throws the towel on the floor next to his ruined briefs. “Now, how’s about that coffee?” he asks with a smirk as his caramel eyes dance across your body that’s wrapped up in the sheets.
“I could go for a sweet cup of coffee,” you say as you push yourself up to a sitting position, your head still swimming from the thick cloud of arousal.
Joel comes over to put a strong hand on your shoulder and lays you back down, tucking you into the sheets as his hand caresses the back of your head. “No, you stay right here. I’ll bring the coffee up to you. You just relax. I’ll start a hot bath for you when I get back,” he says gently as he pulls on a clean pair of briefs and runs his hand through his tousled curls.
God, he’s pretty.
“Oh, uhh okay,” you reply in a whisper as you’re awestruck at how gentle and loving he’s being towards you. It took a long time to get to this point, but you made it. Now he was your soft, sweet man. Always at your attention when you needed him. And you loved him. God, you loved him. So much, so very much.
“I’ll be back up in a few minutes,” he says as he turns toward the door as the hardwood floor creaks underneath his footsteps.
“Joel?” you call out, stopping him before he can make it through the wooden door.
“Hmm?” he hums as he turns back to you, brown eyes intent on you.
“I love you,” you whisper out, enough for him to hear you through the fog of tension that wraps around the room.
His face softens and a smile splays across his face, his honey eyes shining on you like they never had before. It’s absolutely beautiful how smitten he looks at you, how in love he looks. For you had opened him up, shown him what love really looked like. And when he fell for you, he fell hard. No more rough cut edges, for he was soft now. Loving, caring, beaming for you and only you. And it was the most beautiful thing you ever saw in your entire life.
“I love you, too,” he whispers back as the trace of a teardrop forms over the film of his eyes. And then there’s nothing left in the room except pure love for one another, a cloud so thick and dense that there’s no getting past it. He was yours and you were his. Clear as day. No questions about it. “Be right back, baby,” he says as he exits the room and softly closes the door.
You lean back into the cotton sheets and bury your head against the pillow as you close your eyes, envision yourself in a field full of vibrant flowers with Joel by your side, rolling around in a bed full of roses as you lose yourself in each other. And it brings you peace, fills you with a deep satisfaction. He’s yours as much as you are his. Two souls forming into one, colliding together and ignoring everything else but each other. Your peace, your comfort, your ecstasy. It was Joel, it was always Joel.
A few minutes later, he brings you a steaming cup of coffee. You see it’s drizzled with caramel and French vanilla creamer, and it looks absolutely perfect. “Well, go on and try it. Tell me how you like it,” he says as he sits on the edge of the bed and hands you the cup, slowly sliding his hand up and down your thigh as he waits for you to taste the hot liquid.
You take the cup from him and blow on it, slowly taking a sip of the hot coffee as it encases your taste buds. Drops of caramel and French vanilla slide down your throat, along with the taste of the strong coffee that follows it. It’s warm, heavenly, the perfect cup of coffee you’d ever tasted.
You turn to him and smile, looking up at those honey eyes that sink into yours. “It’s absolutely perfect,” you say as you take another sip and set it on the forest green nightstand that sits next to the bed.
“Glad ya like it,” he smiles as you wrap your arms around his neck and drag him back down to the bed with you, his left arm catching your waist and his right hand gently caressing the back of your neck. He brings you to his lips and crashes them against yours as you feel his warm breath against yours. You part your lips and invite him in as his tongue glides in and finds yours, letting the coffee taste pool all over your mouth as he devours you nice and slow, just how you always like it.
When he pulls back, his calloused fingers hover over your jawline, slowly moving to cup your chin as his thumb dances over your lower lip softly. He looks at you with endearing, loving honey eyes, and you can’t shake the feeling of how completely in love you are with him. Mine, mine, mine, you scream in your head. Mine.
“I love you so much, my little ray of sunshine,” he breathes out against your neck, his eyes telling you everything you need to know.
“And I love you, so much,” you whisper out as you drag your lips across his soft plush lips.
“You wanna go take a bath with me?” he asks as he smiles down at you, his eyes lost in a daze before you.
“There’s nothing more I’d want to do,” you answer as you leave a trail of kisses down his cheek, ending at his lips as he pulls you in again, feeding all your desire for the man of your dreams that lays next to you as he consumes you in full.
“Joel?” you ask as he rolls on his back, laying you on his chest as he hums out and looks up at you with those big brown eyes that you so dearly love.
“What is it, baby?”
“Thank you for showing me what a home looked like again. Thank you for loving me, for never giving up on me,” you choke out as you tear up and smile down at him as you lay against his broad chest.
“Oh, baby. No. Thank you for never giving up on me. I know I wasn’t always easy to deal with. I wasn’t always kind, especially when I first met you. But you evened me out, showed me what real love looks like. And I can’t thank you enough. I just… I just love you, so fuckin’ much. I love you, I love you,” he cries as he cups the back of your head and pulls you down to his level, planting his lips against yours as you fall back into him time and time again.
This is where you belong, where you always want to be. It’s with Joel, it’ll always be with Joel. Your best friend, your saviour, the love of your life. And you’ll never get enough of him. Never, ever. Your forever coffee date, your forever lover, yours.

Hi!! I’ve been obsessed with a recent post of yours, about the tmnt turtles and the ways they would confess their feelings, it was so on point? Seriously it has been even helping me fall asleep (dreaming about it lol) on that note, would you please do a scenario or Headcanons of tmnt x reader and their first kiss? Planned? Accidental? In a burst of emotion? Floor is yours
Thank you and hope you have a good day ♥️
Bayverse turtles (separate) x GN reader, SFW (set in 2023 so turtles 24-25)
OH this is RIGHT up my alley. Thank you for the ask! I'm glad you're getting some sleep lol, it was 3 a.m. when I wrote this. Being stuck in a car brings that special kind of tired where you're still jittery, you know? Anyway, I hope you enjoy reading this, and thank you for sending in an ask so I wasn't bored staring at the ceiling fan.
It's not pertinent to the idea but I'm thinking Raph's kiss is a lot longer into the relationship, simply because in my head I keep thinking I wouldn't want to kiss him until he got over his whole angsty phase. If you wanna imagine he's still angsty when the smooch happens, feel free, but hot and cold ain't fun.
MIKEY
Angelo called you on your way home from work for a spontaneous Tuesday night date, and it was with only slight trepidation that you hurried home, visions of the sunshine ball left alone with no one to distract him amid all your stuff floating around your head.
Thankfully, there was no grand chaos when you poked your head through the door, only Mikey in an apron, twirling around your kitchen without a care in the world. He was juggling between three different bowls and the stove, singing along to the music blaring through his phone.
The oven dinged as you were shucking your shoes and jacket, and Mikey brightened upon spying you, tossing his spatula to the side and holding his arms open to hurry you towards him with a raucous, “babycakes! I missed you!”
You went willingly, not quite sure if he was intending to hug you or pull you into a dance, but it ended up being a mixture of the two. He spun you into a dip, hands pulling you upright when your socks slipped on the floor with a goofy smile and a little two step before he grabbed your hips, lifting you up onto the counter next to his work area.
He broke off mid chorus to offer you a spoonful of whipped cream with a soft, “try this, baby, tell me what you think.”
You tried it without thinking, eyebrows jumping at the cloying taste on your tongue.
“Uh. Angelo, you used way too much sugar in this.” You twisted in your spot, tossing the spoon into the sink and giving a little cheer at the satisfying ‘plonk’ of it disappearing into soapy water, completely missing the mischeiveous smile on your turtle’s face.
“Yea? Here, let me help get rid of it.” Mikey’s words were teasing, and for a moment you thought he was talking about something completely different.
You weren’t expecting the warmth of his hands sliding into your hair. You startled, blinking at him dumbly when he sidled into your space, plastron tapping against your knees and pinning your shins against the counter drawers.
He grinned, cradling your head, thumbs along your jaw, holding you still as he tilted his head and pressed his mouth to yours.
He was warm, lips soft, moving gently against your skin. He started to churr when you reached up and tucked your hands over the strong curve of his shoulders.
Your lips glided together once again, mouth opening barely under his direction, eyes closing at the little sweet exhale he gave at the motion.
“You taste like syrup.” You murmured against him, and felt his mouth fight not to tip upwards again.
“What can I say,” Mikey moved his thumb to brush over your lips, “I like sweet things, baby.”
You weaseled your arms down between your bodies, hooking around the edge of his shell and holding him closer, pulling a shiver from him.
“Give me another,” he pushed, and you giggled into the press of his lips.
DONNIE
Your nerd was thinking.
You could practically see the steam of over worked processors from where you lounged at the foot of his bed, book tilted far enough up so you could both pretend you weren’t sneaking glances his way.
Donnie was hunched over in his chair, just barely within eyesight around the low dresser separating the main room of the lab from his bedroom. His hands were lax on the keyboard of the refurbished laptop he was suppose to be working on, glasses low on his snout and eyes clearly trained, not on his work, but at the wall beyond his desk.
You entertained the thought of calling out to him, but the chances of reaching him in this state were slim to none even if you laid a trap with coffee for the bait, so you settled back into the book, flicking curious glances his way every now and then to make sure he was still breathing.
Your patience was rewarded, eventually, when he blinked and that sharp golden gaze flickered over to your face.
“I want to try something.” He said without preamble, once he saw he had your attention, and you closed the book you hadn’t been actually reading for a while with a snap to let him know he had the floor.
“Alright.” You scooted to sit at the edge of his bed, feet crossed under you and curiosity building. “What is it that you want to try, Dee?”
Donnie closed the laptop with a soft little click, rolled his chair towards you, then left his seat to shuffle into your space on his knees when he realized he still towered over you.
You swallowed at the abrupt closeness, breathed out slow to combat your sudden nerves.
The tall turtle took your hands in his, smoothed his thumbs softly over your knuckles. “I want… to kiss you. If that’s alright?”
You nodded as soon as the request was processed, gaze skittering to watch his tongue poke out reflexively before he leaned down and pressed his lips to yours in a chaste kiss.
And held them there. No movement, no gentle give and take. You weren’t even sure he was breathing, he was so still.
He pulled back after a moment, light eyes quizzical before they turned inwards, and you could tell you were about to loose him to whatever data he’d collected.
“Ok. Hey. Wait.” You raised your hands, tapped along his cheeks until he glanced back at you. “I want to try again.”
You kept your words soft, and when he automatically leaned in, you stopped him. “Let me lead, Dee. Just do what I do.”
This time, you used your hands to tilt his head a little bit, and softly touched his lips with your own. Pressed short kisses against him, letting him settle before you moved your jaw and pet your mouth across his.
The steam pouring out Donnie’s ears was back, his hands tightening against your own, and he gave a shaky exhale against your cheek before he responded, mouth slipping over your lips a little roughly as he moved to mirror your grip and tilt your head a little to the back.
When the two of you broke apart, his eyes opened, and he whispered, “again?”
RAPH
The quiet times were the best with Raphael. The moments with no pressure, no societal niceties, away from the teasings of his brothers, when he’d look at you and jerk his head in a clear ‘let’s get out of here’ invitation that you’d never be able to turn down.
Raph would unwind enough to simply exist when it was just you and him, warm and mellow and guard low enough that only affection glanced back when you met his eyes.
You were taking advantage of the quiet this particular date night. He was loose from good food and the way your smaller form sat at his side without fear. So much so, that when you swiveled and tucked a leg over his thigh, his big hand wrapped around your knee without stuttering, grip wide and warm and content to rest on the curve of your joint.
He was still engrossed in the movie, though you caught the little flicker of his eyes as he watched for your reaction to his touch, an old gut reaction that you were happy had faded even this much.
When you simply leaned into him, he relaxed further, and you were rewarded with the slow brush of his thumb against the soft skin on the inside of your knee, as though he couldn’t help the movement.
You let him settle through a few more scenes before pushing a little further, thought the amused quirk of his mouth when you finally made your move made you realize you might be a tad predictable to the large turtle.
That didn’t matter so much though, when he made no move to stop you. If anything, it confirmed his trust, at least enough that when you pulled up to your knees to reach him, hands hooking into the upper edge of his plastron, he tilted his head further to meet you halfway.
He was probably was’t expecting a kiss, however, if the little stutter that rolled through him under your hands and the way he gripped your hips was any indication.
The press of his lips were sweet and a little hesitant, especially when how small your mouth was against his broke through even your hazy thoughts, but you tipped to the side to make up for the difference. After a beat he leaned in, following your lead of how hard to press and when to move, softly scrubbing his lips against you as much as you would allow.
His hand slid up your spine, careful and soft, and you shivered at the feeling, pulling away only to dart back in for one more small peck for luck, pulling a little flustered huff from his snout.
When you pulled back for real, he tucked his head under your chin in a fit of bashfulness, even though you could feel his grin against your skin.
“Wanna finish the movie?” You asked, loathed to quit but not wanting to push him too fast.
“In a minute.” He replied, surfacing to press his mouth to yours again.
LEO
Story time might be Leo’s favorite part of the day. Certainly it was the part of the day where he let himself relax, as much as he was able, but he coveted these moments where he wasn’t anything more than Leo, the mutant turtle that had found you.
So he soaked it all up, the softness of your back against his chest, the way you fit yourself against him without a care. It should have had his heart hammering, the way it had for hours after the first time he had found himself in this position. But the organ beat slow and steady in his chest, soothed when a shoe didn’t drop, and he became used to all the tiny movements you just couldn’t seem to help.
You were only partially aware of all the things that went on in your turtle's head, but slowly you were peeling back the layers as Leo let himself relax around you. You knew however, that he needed these small moments, and you were careful never to question when he came tired and bruised, to simply drop a book into your hands and lean his shell against the wall. He’d tell you, when he was ready.
You turned a page of the book, barely moving your wrist so the thumb sweeping back and forth across the small bones wouldn’t be dislodged, and continued weaving the story of a small elf looking for the last bit of magic in his world.
When Leo’s thumb slipped up to touch your knuckles, framing the back of your hand with his palm, you had a moment to wonder if he wanted to hold your hand. When a sigh sounded from above you though, a small sound of contentment slipping out in a rumble you knew you weren’t suppose to hear, you realized he already was.
You glanced up, taking in Leo’s rounded shoulders, his lowered head, his large form practically curling around you. His eyes were shut, head tilted into your space, and an urge pinged hard in your chest at the sight.
You slipped the book jacket between the pages to hold your place, and set it aside, twisting around until you faced him on your knees. Your hands found the corded strength right above his knees briefly to keep yourself from falling over.
His eyes were open now, staring at you curiously, still soft around the edges.
You cupped his cheeks, leaned up against his plastron, and touched his lower lip softly with your own, eyes half lidded to gauge his reaction.
You watched his pupils blow wide, refocused when you pulled back, almost chased you hypnotically before the action caught up. There was a moment where you could see the hesitation, an errant thought, before the decision cemented in his eyes and he closed the distance again.
This time, the kiss was longer, sweeter, and he pushed into your space with a deep rumble in his chest, enough so that you had to hold his head steady to avoid being tipped backwards, stepping in when he faltered to lead him through the movements.

You were a sunshine. A light in most people's lives and an innocent little ball of happiness. No one could ever except you getting mixed up with the infamous biker gang of Brooklyn. Especially getting caught up with the ruthless leader. And yet, how come you are sitting sweetly on his couch in his office while he finishes off a phone call he had to answer just moments after your mouth was prettily wrapped around his cock. To say he was annoyed would be an understatement but alas he needed to answer the call or he knew Bucky, his right hand man would bark at him for missing yet another important call with a business client all because he was too busy with you...
Loud music suddenly pooled into the quiet office as one of Steve's men came raring in, wanting his boss's attention.
“Sir, I…” His words caught in his throat when he noticed was not only interrupted his boss on a phone call but there was a very pretty woman in nothing but one of Steve's shirts, sitting so patiently on the couch in the corner of the room. You gave the young boy a smirk, his face already turning a bright shade of pink.
“What?” Your lover's voice grew rougher, almost possessive as he disapproves of the way the younger male was eye fucking your form. You quickly caught Steve's eyes, and your mind sparked an idea.
“B-Barnes is…uh, h-here…” The young one stutters, feeling your body against his growing erection.
You finally make your way to the other side of the desk, bringing your hands to your lover's chest. Steve's hands snaked against your waist the moment he felt your leg step in between his, touching his cock with your thigh. There is a smirk painting your features, making Steve know exactly what game you are playing. So, without a second thought, Stevie's hands grip a handful of your ass, squeezing your cheeks in front of the poor boy. You moaned, not holding back from your little show, and Steve was eating all of it up.
“Tell him to wait outside, unless he wants to witness me fucking my darling princess stupid.” His voice echoed in the room, making your glossed eyes, scan his face with anticipation. You had always wanted Bucky to join you or even just watch from afar. The idea of him sitting in the corner of the room pumping his cock while watching Steve rail you on his desk, it sends a chill down your spine.
The young boy ran so quickly out of the room it almost made you laugh, but you didn’t have time for that as Steve pushed you onto the desk, pushing all the papers and important files onto the floor letting your back hit the table with a huff. Steve's lips latched onto your neck, grinding his hips on yours. His rough jeans felt so delicious against your clit as your choked-up moans catch your throat, then your eyes suddenly catch a tall, beefy glass of walking sin, standing in the door frame with crossed arms and a smirk.
“Look what we have here.” Bucky's voice sent a tingle through your body as your eyes locked on his. Steve's bites got harsh, making your moans grow loud, and the only thing coming to mind was that tonight was going to be fun.

"Why are you so mad right now?"
"Because I asked you to do one thing and you didn't" Mark says, still avoiding your gaze.
This was not how you envisioned your morning, when you woke up Mark's side of the bed was already empty. When you went to look for him he was gone, no note, no text of his possible whereabouts. And when he got back, he was clearly and very obviously mad at you.
"I got home just fine" you say with your arms out. Mark still hasn't look at you and it's bugging you. You follow him out the living room. He's going round and round, trying to tidy the place just to avoid having a conversation with you.
"Mark, can you please look at me" you tell him, this made him stop and look over at you. A clear look of disappointment on his face, "I swear I was going to call you but the girls and I were talking and drinking. It slipped my mind, I already booked a cab home when I remembered"
"You went home, way past midnight alone and drunk. Do you know dangerous that is?"
"But I got home safe"
"And what if you didn't? What if something happened? God forbid I get upset about that, I was worried I'm sorry. Is that what you want to hear?"
You say nothing for a while, thinking of something to say back. You really are at fault here, you should be the one saying sorry right now.
"I'm sorry, I should've called" you tell him, now avoiding his eyes just as you feel the tears fill yours. Mark sighs, crossing the room until he's right in front of you. He hooks his finger under your chin, making you look at him.
"I'm mad because I care. I don't trust the world when it comes to you, I just want you to be safe always. I'm not going to stop you living your best life, but I want to know you're safe" he whispers, anger already disappearing.
He wipes the few tears that escaped, cradling your face between his hands.
"Are you still mad?" you mumble, this made Mark smile and shake his head.
"We're okay. I'm sorry for raising my voice at you"
"And I'm sorry for making you worry"
He kisses your forehead before pulling you in for a hug, "I don't like arguing with you, but I'd do it in every universe as long as we make up and end up like this. I love you, always. Okay?"
You hug him tighter, answering him without saying any words.
Just like that you're okay again.
Bless this universe for giving you such an understanding, loving, mature man to love. You'd be stupid to ever let him go which is why no matter what argument, the two of you always make sure to solve it together.
Mark never lets you go to sleep upset, he'll ask you what's wrong or if he's done anything to upset you. At first it was hard for you to admit your feelings that easily, you learned that you don't like being vulnerable, you don't like sharing your true feelings. You bottle it up. But ever since you started dating Mark, all of that changed.
He's there to listen, even when words aren't being spoken. He knows when to give you space, he knows when to chase after you and hold you tight. He knows you in a way you didn't want to know yourself, you used to be scared of these feeling but not anymore.
It's obvious who's the serious one and the jokester in you and Mark's relationship. The best thing about it is the fact that your boyfriend, no matter how serious he is, will always play along.
"Mark, you busy?" you ask, walking inside the office to see him on his computer
He looks over at you with a smile, "No, what's up?"
"I was wondering..." you say while walking towards him, he waits for you to continue. You got to where he was sitting, smiling cheekily at your boyfriend
He knows you're up to something, he grabs you by the waist sitting you squarely on his lap.
"Do you know how to whistle?"
"Do I know how to whistle?" he asks back,
"Yea like you know, like this" you pout, but before you can whistle Mark closes the gap between the two of you. Kissing you gently, he grabs the back of your head to deepen the kiss. Suddenly you forgot what you were doing in the first place.
After a few minutes of exchanging kisses, you broke apart. Looking dazed and in love, "Hey! I was suppose to do that! Did you know I was going to do that?" you asked
"Maybe" he mumbles, looking at you with pure adoration
"I'll pretend I didn't know" he adds, making you roll your eyes.
"You just want to make out"
"You're not wrong there, now come here I need your kisses"
Tumblr media
The first time it happened, Mark thought it really was just coincidence.
You just started to decorate around the house, the tree was halfway done and a few other decorations scattered here and there. He was just walking to the kitchen doorway when suddenly you stop him
"What?" your boyfriend blinks back at you confused, instead of answering him you just point up making Mark look at where you're pointing. There hanging by the doorway was a mistletoe.
"When did you put that there?" he asks with a smile, finding the tradition cute. Even cuter when you're looking at him with the biggest smile, ready to receive your kiss
"I just put it up today, now where's my kiss" you say, pursing your lips at him making Mark chuckle. He grabs you by the waist, leaning down to kiss you. It was short but sweet, enough to leave you smiling like an idiot.
A few months ago, the two of you finally decided to move in together. It's been years since you got together, and most times you spend your nights together whether his place or yours. At some point you realized that it would make more sense to just move in together, so you did.
"Love, did you do laundry last time?" you asked him, walking inside your shared bedroom to see him resting on the bed
"I did"
"Oh thanks, love the fabric softener you used. Now all my clothes smells like you" you smile at him, jumping on the bed to cuddle him. Immediately he hugs you close.
"Then will you stop stealing of my clothes now?" he asks
"Negative, I like your hoodies better"
He chuckles at your answer, "Knew it"
"What were you doing?"
"Just checking my phone, I wanted to order this pan for making omelet. Should we get one?"
You love how his sentence now say "we" or "our" instead of his and yours. Of course you still respect each other's boundaries and individuality, but on things like deciding what to paint your home or what furniture to buy or groceries to stock up on it's always the two of you.
"Should we? If we're using it then why not, I love eggs for breakfast" you tell him, looking at his phone screen to check
"I know, that's why I'm getting it. Okay, I'll order it now then" you watch him as he do so.
"This is fun" you mumble
"Hm?"
"This, buying things for our place. I like it" you smile
"Me too"
"Do you want to marry me?"
Your question took him by surprise. Not because he didn't want to marry you, it's just when he thinks of that big question he's the one doing the asking and not the other way around.
"Mark? Sorry forget I said anything" you mumble, moving to rest your head on the pillow instead
"Remember when we first started dating or way before that?" he asks you
"Huh?"
"I was shy, I wasn't as confident as the other guys. People think I'm aloof and too serious. You never thought of me that way, you entered in my life like you were meant to be there all along and maybe you are. Scratch that, I know you are. You're meant to be in my life. When I knew I was falling in love with you I didn't know how to say it without scaring you away, so I did it slowly. I did it in a way that won't overwhelm you. Because to you it doesn't have to be a loud confession or a grand gesture. i loved you they way i knew you would understand. i loved you the way i know how. i just loved you. I know you, your mind is a wonder. You doubt, you question and you worry your pretty mind to no ends. I didn’t want to disrupt that"
By now you're face to face again, he's speaking so softly like he's afraid you'll float away of he's too loud.
"You said I was your peace, and back then that was more than enough for me. By some miracle, you fell in love with me too. And now we're here. So to answer your question, yes I want to marry you. One day I want to get down on one knee and ask you that question, I'm still working on being the man worthy to ask that" he continues, and you soak each and every word he speaks like he's already saying his vows.
Because you know, you know he is a man of words. If Mark says it, then it's true. He will never say such things to deceive you.
"Do you have any more questions for me, pretty girl?" he whispers, waiting for you to speak
You shake your head, scooting until you're on his side again. Tucking yourself as close to him as you can.
He tilts your head so you're looking at him, leaning down to kiss you on your nose, your cheeks and last your lips.
"I'll love you over and over again, just like when we met"

Tumblr media
minho hates you. he hates you for making him fall in love with you. this wasn’t supposed to happen. this was all your fault. yes, your stupid smile and your stupid laugh and the way your eyes twinkle every time you look at him is the reason why he’s currently spiralling from his emotions.
despite his aloof attitude towards you, there was never a day where you failed to annoy him, even in the slightest. before, it was easy to just brush you off every time you try to get his attention. so easy to ignore the members whenever they talk about you. everything was easy back then. why couldn’t you just take the hint?
when you greet him enthusiastically so early in the morning, which he would usually just roll his eyes at, now makes his heart beat faster than it should have. and unlike before, his attention would instantly be diverted to the person who so much as just mentions your name.
he’s actually starting to think he likes spending more time with you, and not just as friends anymore. which is why he stopped hanging out with you. so when you suddenly appear before him outside of his apartment at eight pm on a friday, he knew he was fucked.
“hey…” you greeted him, and minho notices you slightly shiver from the cold. he gently grabs your arm and pulls you inside so you both don’t suffer from the harsh weather. after he closes the door, he turns to see that you were already sitting comfortably on his couch. another reason why he hates you is because of all the fond memories you both shared on that same damn couch. movie nights and cuddling were only some of the things he despised, recalling those memories where his heart fluttered the most.
“so, uhm, it’s been a while huh?” you lightly chuckle, but it was different to the usual joyful tone it had. now it seem more dejected. “you haven't been answering my calls lately, is there something wrong?”
he didn’t know how to answer that because yes something was wrong, but not in the way you think. he just settled with a simple shake of his head and plops down on the couch next to the one you were sitting on. it was hard not to notice the amount of space between the two of you, however the both of you don’t mention it.
“don’t worry about it, i was just busy so i couldn’t answer your calls.” to further prove his claim, he points to the copious amounts of paperwork stacked on top of each other on the coffee table. it was true that he was busy with work, but he always made time for you despite that. though he didn’t know that his feelings for you would be deeper than just a friend he would occasionally be annoyed at.
“minho, i’m not stupid. i know you’re ignoring me.” of course you’d catch on immediately, it was you after all.
“well if you knew that, then why are you here?” minho’s words come out a lot meaner than he expected, and he immediately regrets it once he sees the look of hurt flash in your eyes.
“sorry, it’s just that a lot has been going on lately and i—”
“did I do something? why are you suddenly acting so distant?” you cut him off, feeling frustrated at your friend’s lack of communication. you start to stand up from the couch to get closer to him, but minho was two steps ahead as he gets up first and heads to his kitchen. you follow him there and see that he took out a glass and poured himself some water to drink. you’re not sure why, but you think it’s just to prolong him from answering your question.
“minho please, i miss you! i miss hanging out with my friend, don’t you miss me too?” you plead, and minho’s facade breaks. his eyes soften and he puts the glass down so could walk closer to you. he stops right in front of you and moves his hand to caress your hair. you lean in to his touch, already missing the way his fingers would comb your hair soothingly. minho just smiles at your reaction before pulling away slowly.
“of course i miss you yn,”
“everything was fine so why are you doing this? why are you avoiding me?” yes, everything was fine and easy until you decided to mess with his heart. but you didn’t know that.
“just… because.” you scoff at his explanation, resisting the urge to smack him for not giving you a clear answer.
“because what minho? am i too annoying for you? do i talk too loudly? what is it minho!? i can’t take this any more, i thought we were friends—”
“and that’s exactly why!” you stop, and minho takes this as an opportunity to finally let it out.
“the reason why i stopped hanging out with you is because i don’t want to be friends anymore! don’t you see yn? i like you! hell, i’m in love with you! but i don’t want to be because i know you don't feel the same way. i mean, why would you? all i do is just say mean things to you.” minho breathes out a sigh and watches as you take in all the words he just said. however, he was too scared of your rejection, so he moved past you and headed towards the living room. you were still too stunned to move so you stay rooted in the kitchen.
“please just forget everything i just told you and i promise i won't ignore you anymore.” minho almost raps as he maneuvers his way towards the coffee table and he distracts himself by arranging his paperwork. some part of him wants you to just accept that and go home, but the other, more hopeful side, wishes for you not to forget and return his feelings too.
when you arrive at the living room, you see minho crouched down beside the coffee table. you quickly grab his arm, startling him from the sudden contact. you pull him up and give him time to regain his balance before giving your side.
“what if i don’t wanna forget?” minho only looks confused, so you elaborate further. “what if i don’t wanna forget that you like me? what if i like you too, have you ever considered that?”
you almost laugh at the comedic look on minho’s face as his eyes suddenly widen in shock. you don’t, instead you grab his chin and pull him down towards you. your lips touched and it was still for a moment before he finally kissed you back. only then do you both pull away from lack of oxygen. your arms wrap around his neck to pull him closer and you rest your forehead against each other’s.
“so… does this mean we’re dating now?”
“do friends go around kissing each other like that?” you quirk an eyebrow and minho shakes his head at your sarcasm. it seems like he’s finally rubbing off on you.
“no they don’t.”
“good, ‘cause i don’t want you kissing your friends like that.” you both laugh and minho lifts you off the ground to spin you around, causing you to squeal in surprise.
“for the record, i don’t want you kissing your friends like that either.” after putting you down, minho gives you his signature smirk before kissing you once more and wrapping you up in a hug.
“and to answer your question, i’m in love with you too. so yes, we are dating.” you can’t stop grinning as minho continues to hug you, but he abruptly pulls away, causing you to look at him with confusion written in your features. he suddenly seems anxious, but he collects himself and takes a deep breath before talking.
“i’m just going to have to warn you that i may not be the best boyfriend in the world. i get moody a lot and say a lot of sarcastic things that may come off as rude. there are also times where i—“ he stops rambling after he hears laughter coming from you. he gives you a look that resembles an offended cat and you all but acknowledge it as you wipe away the tear that came out of your eye.
you cradle minho’s face with both of your hands, and he looks at you with such pureness in his big eyes that you can’t help but fall in love with him more.
“minho, i already know that you are all of those things, yet i still stuck around because i love you despite all of that, and i will continue to do so until you run out of snarky things to say,” you tease, and it gets a small smile from him.
“you’re right. if you were tired of me, you would’ve already dropped me while we were still friends.” minho jokes and you hum in response, giving him a peck to his cheek. you intertwine your fingers with his and with your other hand, run your fingers through his hair. “yes now stop worrying about that, you still owe me all the movie nights we missed because you’re an idiot.”
minho only replies with a laugh, silently agreeing that he is indeed an idiot. it surprises him how easily you break him free of his worries. and that despite everything that just happened, you still manage to crack his walls. but he guesses that’s how love works, it makes everything so much easier.

A/N: IM LITERALLY SPEECHLESS RN PLDFNGBJKFNGB PLS ENJOY !!!!!!!!!
The summer was off to a great start.
Your parents decided to go sailing in Greece for three weeks, so you had been tasked with house-sitting.
Well, to call it a house was inaccurate, really. It was more like a mansion. They had much more space than they needed, but your parents loved flaunting their wealth.
For your part, you didn’t care much about extravagance, even if you acknowledged your privilege. You’d rather accept their money for things like education, for instance.
Still, it was nice to have a pool and a large garden for yourself. You were in desperate need of some unwinding, and you knew some sunshine and fresh air would do wonders for you.
You’d just moved out of your apartment, deciding to come back home for some time to hunker down and focus on sending out applications for a postgraduate degree.
But that didn’t mean you wouldn’t procrastinate a little first. You had all summer, after all.
It was a nice, sunny day, perfect for lounging by the pool. Your parents had just left the previous night, so you filled in the silence with music blasting from your speakers. You brought a book and your laptop down to the pool area, and you were on your way back in for some lemonade when the doorbell rang.
You hesitated for a moment, considering running up to your room to get a t-shirt. You were only wearing a turquoise bikini and a measly beach cover tied around your waist, and you weren’t sure if that was appropriate enough to greet someone at the door.
But then you figured fuck it, it was hot outside and this was technically your house, so you could do whatever the hell you pleased.
You opened the door to reveal someone you only knew from pictures and anecdotes — your dad’s best friend and next-door neighbor, the famous Aaron Hotchner.
Based on the pictures you’d seen, you already knew he was very handsome… but good lord, nothing could compare to the real thing. You couldn’t help blushing, suddenly feeling very exposed, but you tried to maintain your composure.
His dark eyes were drawn downwards before quickly returning to your face, a friendly smile on his lips.
“Hi, you must be Y/N,” he greeted, extending his large hand toward you. “I’m Aaron. Your father has told me so much about you. He’s having me keep an eye on you while they’re gone, make sure you’re good.”
“Oh, man, I hope he didn’t tell you any embarrassing stories.” You rolled your eyes playfully, returning the smile and shaking his hand. “I’ve heard a lot about you, too. It’s nice to meet you in person, finally.”
“Nice to meet you, too. You know, they’re both very proud of you, I can’t blame them for talking my ear off,” he said. “Sorry to show up unannounced, just thought I’d introduce myself.”
“Oh, no worries at all. I was just going to tan for a bit,” you said, gesturing to your swimsuit. “Do you want some lemonade or anything?”
“Sure, thank you, sweetheart.”
Your blush deepened a little at this. You stepped aside to let him in, his arm just barely brushing yours as he passed. In the kitchen, you poured him a glass and handed it to him. Covertly, you watched his throat work as he drank it all down, licking his lips when he finished.
You took a sip of your own, averting your gaze demurely. You weren’t usually very shy, but you were unsure of what to say to him. He was very close to your family, but to you, he was still virtually a stranger. A really, really attractive stranger.
And you just happened to be home alone with him.
He crossed his strong arms over his broad chest, his gaze wandering despite his best attempts at being respectful. He exhaled slowly.
“I have to say, your dad showed me an older picture of you. I almost didn’t recognize you when you opened the door.”
You shook your head in amusement. “I know he keeps one or two in his wallet. I’m surprised my mom never brought out the photo albums.”
He smirked. “I think she was waiting for you to be home for that. She probably wants you to get all flustered.”
You already were a bit flustered then, but you weren’t going to admit it to him. You fanned yourself a little with your hand, the expansive room suddenly feeling warmer.
“You’re welcome to join me at the pool, by the way. If you don’t have anything else going on, that is,” you offered. “Though you might need a swimsuit.”
“Oh, I don’t mean to intrude…”
“Not at all! Maybe that way we can get to know each other better.”
The truth was you were curious to see what was underneath that white polo and jeans, which hugged his lean muscles oh-so-deliciously. His thick eyebrows raised just slightly, and there was a certain glimmer in his eyes you wanted to decipher. Your eyes scanned his features, lingering on his lips for a long moment before moving on downwards.
You had the strangest urge to get your lips on that sharp jaw of his, just to hear what sound he would make. He had a pleasantly deep voice already, so you could only imagine…
You swallowed hard, trying to bat those thoughts out of your head. You needed to get a grip. Nothing could happen between the two of you, of course. That was impossible. Your parents would literally kill both of you.
But there was no harm in looking, right?
After a charged moment of silence, he shifted in his seat a little, but then nodded and got up.
“I’ll go get changed and come right back.”
“I’ll leave the door open.”
You brought an extra towel outside for him and settled onto one of the lounge chairs. Undoing your beach wrap, you began applying sunscreen to your legs. Then you moved onto your arms, humming along to your music.
“Here, let me get some on your back,” you heard Aaron’s deep voice behind you.
You looked back at him, eyes snagging on his bare chest and the smattering of dark hair across it. You couldn’t help it, your eyes betrayed you by sinking further down, right to the happy trail that ended at the hem of his swim trunks.
You nodded quickly, handing him the bottle and moving your hair out of the way. Boldly, he sat behind you, rubbing sunscreen between his hands. Your body jerked slightly as he started tenderly spreading it on your back, and your eyes fell closed at his mere touch.
“So, do you have a boyfriend?” He asked casually.
You shook your head in response.
“How come?”
“I’m not really interested in guys my age,” you said with a small shrug. “They play too many games, and I’m not with that.”
“But you must have an army of admirers, surely.”
You huffed in amusement. “Not really. Boys ignore me because they know they can’t have me.”
He chuckled, his fingers grazing the top of your shoulders. “That’s surprising to me. You’re such a beautiful girl, I don’t see how anyone could ignore you.”
Butterflies burst in your stomach at his words. “Better to be alone than in bad company, right?”
“Yeah. You don’t need some silly boy, anyway. You need a gentleman.”
You glanced at him over your shoulder. “Well, let me know if you know any.”
All too soon, he was done with your back, but you offered to do the same to him. Okay, maybe you were a little too eager to get your hands on him, but this was innocent enough. You didn’t want him to get sunburned, either.
“What about you?” You asked, trying not to sound too curious. “Where’s Mrs. Hotchner?”
He chuckled as if he’d been expecting this question.
“There’s no Mrs. Hotchner. At least for the time being.”
“Ah, I see. So you don’t need to be running home any time soon.”
“Not at all, sweetheart,” he smiled. “You’ve booked me for the entire day. Who knows what you’d get up to if I didn’t keep my eye on you.”
In a small moment of bravery, you smirked. “No good, of course.”
“Just as I thought. We can’t have that, now can we?”
You shrugged flirtatiously and batted your lashes prettily, not promising you were going to behave even if he was there.
Both of you lay in your respective lounge chairs, parallel to each other as you soaked up the sun. For a couple of minutes, neither of you said anything, but you surreptitiously snuck glances at one another.
Behind the cover of his sunglasses, his eyes trailed the thin rivulets of sweat trickling down your sternum. His fingers flexed as he suppressed the need to reach out. You glanced down at the movement of his hips as he readjusted his position, clearing his throat. You weren’t sure what sort of game you two were playing, but it was entirely too riveting.
You sat up, hesitantly reaching for the straps holding up your bikini top.
“Do you mind if I undo these? I’m not gonna take it off, but I have this cute strapless dress I want to wear, and I don’t want the tan lines.”
“Uh, um, sure, no problem,” he said, a little taken aback. “Let’s just keep that between us, okay?”
“My lips are sealed, Mr. Hotchner,” you said, keeping eye contact as you undid the straps, holding the top up with one hand as you lay back down.
“Let me get you some more lemonade,” he muttered, getting up and quickly padding inside.
You bit down a mischievous grin, knowing you were getting to him. If looking was all you could do, might as well make it more interesting. There was no harm in a little flirtation, either.
When he came back, you switched hands in order to get your glass from him. You smiled at him in appreciation, tilting your head back to look up at him. God, he was so tall. What the hell were you to do with so much man?
“Isn’t it crazy that we knew of each other from so many stories but never met before today?” You said as he sat back down.
“Well, I’ve heard you’re a busy girl. This is your first time home in a while, isn’t it?”
You nodded. “Gonna be spending some more time here, for sure.”
“That’ll be really nice. Hopefully, we’ll get to spend some of it together.”
You raised an eyebrow. “What’s that now? You like me already?”
“It’s hard not to.”
“I think I like you, too, Aaron.”
You smiled at each other for a moment, the tension between you on the brink of snapping. Your eyes kept being drawn to his lips. A spark of heat ignited low in your belly, and it was becoming harder not to pounce on him.
“I should probably shift onto my stomach, I need to even out my tan,” you said quickly, shifting over as gracefully as you could. Hopefully that way, you’d have a moment to collect yourself.
“Here, let me help you undo the back,” he offered, and you shot him a look that was both startled and exhilarated. “You said you wanted to even out your tan, right?”
You nodded, suppressing a gasp as you felt the last string holding up your top slide off.
“T-thank you,” you said.
“Anytime, sweetness. I’m gonna cool off in the pool if you wanna join me at any moment.”
You heard the water splashing and the small groan of relief that followed, which made you shiver. Of course, he knew what he was doing. He was not ignorant to the fact you were teasing him, and he figured two can play that game.
You were hyper-aware of his presence as you lay there, trying to keep still. Only a few minutes passed before you finally caved, your body’s instincts taking over.
He was swimming from one end of the pool to the other, fully submerged, so he didn’t see you sit at the edge and dip your legs in. Your arms were crossed over your chest, covering your breasts. You languidly kicked your legs in the water, watching his movements.
When he surfaced, he pushed his mop of dark hair back, blinking drops of water off his lashes. His movements ceased when his eyes fell on you.
“I was getting a little too hot,” you said, voice breathy and low.
“Well, no need to hide from me, darling girl,” he purred, wading just a little closer. “I promise I’m very well-behaved.”
You slowly uncrossed your arms, arching your back slightly and pushing out your chest. The coquettish smile on your face nearly unmade him then and there, but he held himself back. Letting you take control of the situation was quite titillating, and he wanted to see just how far you would take things.
He licked his lips. “There we go. What a gorgeous sight you are.”
You could basically feel your heartbeat in your pussy at that point.  You feared you might combust if he didn’t touch you soon.
“Don’t you want to come closer? I don’t bite.”
“I do,” he said, his smile taking on a lupine quality.
“Then I insist.”
He swam over, and you parted your legs so he could situate himself between them. Your hands landed on his broad shoulders, and you shuddered a little at the cool touch of his skin.
Your nipples hardened, attracting his attention momentarily, and once more he licked his lips.
“Are you sure?” He whispered. “You know we can’t tell another soul about this, right?”
You nodded eagerly. “You’ll find I’m very good at keeping secrets.”
“I’ll hold you to it.”
Without further warning, he dove forward and captured one of your nipples in his mouth. His tongue rolled around it as his fingers came up to tweak your other nipple. You couldn’t help the needy mewl that escaped you, back arching further.
“Kiss me,” you breathed, taking his face in your hands and bringing your lips to his.
The kiss was hungry, almost desperate, and he was still palming your breasts as his tongue tangled with yours. You moaned into his mouth, and the next thing you knew, he was pulling you in with him. You let out a little yelp of surprise, wrapping your legs around his waist.
He chuckled, moving to kiss your jaw. “Said you needed to cool off, right?”
“Jerk,” you teased, swatting his arm playfully.
His arms encircled you as he trailed open-mouthed kisses down your neck and chest. His tongue lavished attention on your breasts once more, and soon enough you could feel an insistent bulge prodding at your clothed center.
“Oh, I’d really like to give you a hand with that,” you said, raking your fingers through his hair with one hand, the other reaching down to caress him through his swim trunks.
He sucked in a breath at the small touch, pulling back in order to nip at your bottom lip.
“Then I guess we should take this outside, right away.”
He sat you back on the edge and pulled himself out of the pool. You wasted no time in discarding your bikini bottoms, toweling yourself off under his scrutinizing gaze. He did the same, and you pushed him onto a sunbed under the shade of an umbrella.
And since you were already not wasting time, you bent down to lick a long stripe up the underside of his cock, which lay hard against his abdomen. His hips bucked as you kissed the tip, looking up at him through your lashes.
“Fuck, you’re breathtaking,” he groaned, fingers grazing your cheek adoringly. “Simply irresistible. You could see the effect you had on me, hmm?”
You nodded, slightly rubbing your cheek against his hand in a silent plea.
He smirked at this, twisting your ponytail around one hand and using the other one to feed his cock into your mouth. You hummed around him. He was so thick that you weren’t sure how much you’d be able to take, but you’d never been a quitter.
The sounds he was making as you bobbed your head proved to be very efficient motivation, as well. You felt the head hit the back of your throat, but still, you kept going. His grip tightened each time he heard you gagging, but he kept relative control of his jutting hips.
You reached between your legs to touch yourself, fingers easily slipping through your soaked folds. At the sight, something in him snapped.
“Come here, I want to taste you,” he urged, and you released him with a loud, obscene pop. “I need you to sit on my face right now.”
He pulled you up and you maneuvered to situate yourself atop his face, legs straddling his head. You hesitated, momentarily fearing you would suffocate him, but he pulled you down eagerly.
He devoured you like you were his last meal on earth. Your entire body tensed at the feeling of his tongue flicking and circling your clit. Your hips bucked, but his large hands were holding you down by your thighs.
You reached back, palming his length as best as you could, stroking the head with the tips of your fingers. He thrusted into your grip, his deep moan vibrating against your cunt.
Pleasure was like a cresting wave, threatening to break. It made your body feel red hot as you neared the peak, but you wanted to hold off a little longer.
“A-Aaron… I’m-I’m gonna…” you trailed off, unable to finish your sentence.
At this, he only doubled his efforts instead of releasing you. He sucked on your clit before his tongue dipped inside you, and you ground against his face desperately.
Your orgasm seized you, rippling throughout your entire being. You cried out, head thrown back and eyes fluttering shut. He let you ride it out, prolonging it a little with languid strokes of his tongue.
You were still trembling a little when he placed a kiss on your inner thigh, beaming up at you, eyes glazed over with desire and pride.
“You taste like absolute heaven,” he panted. “Such a sweet pussy.”
“Were you able to breathe?” You asked sheepishly, biting your lower lip.
“Oh, honey, even if I couldn’t, I would’ve died the happiest man on Earth,” he kissed your thigh once more, making you sigh. “Think you can take my cock, pretty girl? Or do you need a break?”
You nodded frantically, moving back so he could sit up and kiss you. You tasted yourself on his lips, instantly hooked. There was something about him that was making you feel wild and unrestrained, almost animalistic.
Had you ever wanted someone so badly before? No, not like this.
“Are you on birth control?” He asked between kisses.
“Yes! Please, just fuck me already. I can’t wait any longer.”
He flipped you onto your back, pushing your legs up to put you in a mating press. Breath escaped you as he slowly sank into you, letting you feel the entirety of his length. He kissed you slowly as he bottomed out, overwhelmingly deep inside you in the best way possible.
“That’s it, good girl,” he groaned into your mouth. “You take me so well.”
His strokes were long and deep, making you see stars. All coherence flew out the window as you lost yourself to the all-consuming feeling of him.
He continued to murmur praises into your ear, kissing a spot right behind it that made you shudder. You sighed his name, gasping as he ground his pelvis against you.
“You keep sucking me back in, honey,” he grunted. “Are you close again?”
You whimpered in response, eyes heavy-lidded as you looked up at him. He kissed the tip of your nose, smiling fondly.
“Good, because I want you to come with me. Can you do that, sweet girl?”
“Fuck yes! Come inside me, please,” you begged as he picked up the pace, hips snapping against yours. “Oh, fuck… give it to me. Please, please, please.”
You tumbled over the edge a second time, clenching him hard. Your nails dug into his biceps as you cried out. He hissed through his teeth, muscles seizing up as he spilled inside of you. His last few strokes were sloppy and shallow as you both rode out your highs.
He leaned his sweaty forehead against yours as you both breathed hard. You looked at each other and chuckled, flush with endorphins and utter satisfaction. He kissed you once more and you knew it was a feeling you would never tire of.
“I’m really glad I stayed to keep an eye on you,” he said, bringing your legs down to a more comfortable position, still sheathed inside you. “If this was you being a good girl, I have to wonder how you are when you’re bad.”
You smirked deviously. “I guess you’ll have to find out.”

-----------------------------------------------------
Steve felt the exhaustion creep in as Eddie held him close, neither of them speaking after Steve agreed to Eddie’s suggestion.
He let himself rest, but couldn’t fall asleep, something tugging at his brain in a way that still made him hesitant to relax completely.
He was safe, Eddie was keeping him safe, but he couldn’t drift off to sleep.
It took Eddie humming a song he vaguely recognized to catch the thought and put it into words.
“How do you know that song?” Steve sat back, staring at Eddie with wide eyes.
“My favorite local band plays it as their encore during shows. Why?”
“Um. Your favorite local band doesn’t happen to be High and Dry, does it?”
Steve felt his heartbeat quicken, getting louder as he thought about what this meant.
“It…is? How do you know them?” Eddie seemed genuinely shocked by the fact that Steve knew them, which was fair, considering they were a punk metal band that only played local venues once in a while.
Steve knew why they did though. Because he knew them. Because he knew the lead singer very well.
“The lead singer is Jonathan. Jonathan Byers.”
Eddie was still not getting it, which was fine, because Steve was now standing up and pacing, his hands moving to explain as much as possible.
“He’s Will’s older brother!” Steve threw his hands up, a huge smile taking over his face, the first one in too long.
“Wait. Jonathan is Will’s brother?”
“Yes!”
“Okay. Um. That’s a nice coincidence, sweetheart. I’m not sure why you’re so excited about it, but maybe we can go to their next show?”
Eddie was looking at him like he’d grown two heads, which was fair, Steve knew he wasn’t making much sense.
“No, you don’t get it!”
“No, I don’t,” Eddie agreed.
Steve placed his hands on Eddie’s cheeks, kissing his nose before he pulled away again. The erratic behavior was probably a bit too much, but he couldn’t contain it.
“So you have a connection to the Byers outside of me!”
It took a moment, but Eddie’s eyes widened and then he stood up, started pacing, too.
“I’ve done some of Jonathan’s tattoos recently. We aren’t like, close, but we talk sometimes. He gave me VIP tickets to a festival they performed at in exchange for a part of his sleeve a few months ago.” Eddie was practically doing laps around Steve now, who was watching with a fond smile as Eddie took what Steve thought of and ran with it. “He’s actually scheduled for next week to get something small done. I could call him and explain everything, maybe he could work with Joyce and Will and the school board to end the investigation early. We could just say I did it as a favor because I know the family!”
Steve nodded, his brain going faster than it ever has.
“I know Joyce and Will will be on my side through everything, especially when they find out I’ve been suspended over this. But if we can take the financial help out of the equation for me, that will most likely let me keep my job.”
Eddie wrapped his arms around Steve’s waist and lifted him, spinning him around in a circle as he laughed. It felt so good to laugh, to feel just a bit of the anxiety and stress fall off his shoulders.
To feel like he had a chance in not losing everything he’d worked so hard for.
—---------------------------
He called Robin a bit later while Eddie was making them lunch. He sat on the counter, watching as Eddie tossed a salad together, frying up some chicken in a pan and mixing together some homemade dressing.
“Steve! Hi! Are you okay?” Robin answered on the first ring, like she’d been holding the phone waiting for his call.
She probably had been, actually.
“Robs, I’m okay. Thanks for taking care of me.”
“What happened? Are you still with Eddie? Do you need me to come over? I can call into my shift, Chrissy already said she’d cover.”
“I’m still with Eddie. He’s making us some lunch. I um, something bad happened at work, something that kinda came out of nowhere, and I just didn’t know what to do. I’m sorry, Robs.”
He hated that she had to see him like that at all, but was grateful she was there. He hated to think what would have happened if he’d been alone at the apartment.
“Did you get fired?”
“Not quite,” Steve gave a brief explanation of what happened, only stopping when Robin started ranting angrily about the system being so broken they couldn’t even provide assistance to a student who needed it. She wasn’t entirely wrong, and he couldn’t help the fond smile on his face as she kept interrupting his story to complain about the principal being a bitch (she wasn’t), and the art teacher knowing he could get in trouble if he brought it up (they may not have known), and “your parents are literally lawyers, sue them,” (which would be his absolute last resort, but still an option).
By the end, Eddie was smirking as he ate his salad next to Steve, just as endeared by Robin’s antics as Steve was.
“So where does this leave you?”
Steve gulped. The hard part of this conversation would be telling Robin about taking Eddie’s offer.
She was fiercely independent, had to be because her parents weren’t made of money. They provided her basic needs as she grew up, but she wanted more, wanted better, and decided the best way to have that was to work her ass off to get there. She worked two jobs through most of college, up until her final semester that she was in now, having to use any free time not at Starbucks on her internship at a museum. The moment Steve explained that Eddie was paying for all of his stuff for the month, she would lose at least a little respect for Steve.
“Wait, you’re suspended without pay for a month?”
Here goes.
“Yes, but I figured out rent and stuff, you don’t have to worry about it. Eddie’s helping.”
Robin was silent for a moment, then two.
“Helping how?”
“I’m gonna move in with him for at least the month, he’s gonna put me to work at his shop, and he’s gonna pay the bills I need covered while I’m out.”
That didn’t sound so bad. Like it was him working for the money, not just getting his bills paid like some kind of sugar baby.
Although, he kind of did feel like one.
And he kind of liked it.
He’d never admit that to Robin though.
“Do you have all this in writing somewhere?”
Eddie was watching Steve’s reaction, not interrupting, giving him the space to have this conversation with his best friend, one that needed to be had even with the discomfort it brought both of them.
“No. I trust him, and I know you won’t, but I’m just asking for you to trust me.”
“Why do you think I won’t trust him?”
Steve glanced between the phone and Eddie, like he didn’t really want to say it in front of Eddie, like it would hurt him.
Eddie just shrugged, silently telling him that he would be fine and understood this was a private conversation that he was already being given special permission to even be listening to.
“Because you’re hesitant about people, especially people I get close to. And this has been kind of a whirlwind. I’m struggling to even grasp what’s happening sometimes, and you know rushing into something like this isn’t like me. It’s terrifying, I’m terrified. But you remember when Nancy and I broke up and you told me that someday someone would show me that I’m worth the future I dreamed about? Eddie is that person. And I think I just have to accept that as unconventional as everything with us has been, it’s what works for us.”
He looked over at Eddie, who was frozen in his chair and staring at him like he wanted to kiss him, undress him, take him apart, right here at the table.
Steve wanted to let him.
Not while Robin was on the phone, though. Maybe not today at all. He still wasn’t feeling quite himself and he knew Eddie wouldn’t actually act on anything as long as he was in this state of limbo.
“You’re sure about this?” She asked, but she already knew he was.
“I’ve never been so sure of anything.”
“Then I’m sure, too.”
“Really?”
“Listen, you’re almost as cautious with people as I am. And Chrissy wouldn’t keep him around if he wasn’t reliable and amazing. And the way he was with you earlier…” Robin sighed. “He’s good for you. You’re good together. At this point, if something happens to you two, I’ll lose any hope that love is real.”
Steve smiled at the phone and then at Eddie, who was smiling back, reaching a hand over the table to cover Steve’s. He squeezed gently, acknowledging that Steve and Robin were both trusting him more than they’d trusted anyone to take care of Steve.
He wouldn’t, couldn’t let them down.
—-------------------------
Steve fell asleep at the table, barely able to finish half his salad before his eyes were drooping. Eddie had been cleaning up in the kitchen, so when he walked back to the dining table to see Steve’s head on the table, eyes closed, he couldn’t help the fond smile on his face.
He leaned down to kiss Steve’s head, then picked him up, holding him carefulling in his arms so that he could carry him to bed.
Steve’s eyes didn’t open, but he nuzzled his face into Eddie’s neck, curled his hand in Eddie’s shirt against his chest.
Eddie smiled to himself as he made his way to their bedroom.
Theirs.
He bit his lip to not cry.
He didn’t say it out loud to anyone, and barely even admitted it to himself, but his entire life had been spent wondering if he’d ever find anything this meaningful. Anything he’d ever had was hookups that barely even lasted a night or shitty relationships based on dynamics that truly didn’t mean anything if you didn’t care about each other.
He never felt like he wanted, needed, to care for someone like this. Not in this way.
He would do anything to keep Steve safe and happy.
He tucked Steve into bed, not worried about any of his clothes right now, more worried that waking him up would upset him, and kissed his forehead.
It was easy to love Steve, even through the hard things.
He thought about what Wayne told him years ago when he had his first bad breakup: “Someday, you’ll find someone who is easy to love, even when things are hard. Someday, you’ll love someone so much, that even the shittiest days of your lives will be better just because they’re there to love you through it.”
He knew Steve was that someone for him, and he just wanted to be that person Steve.
—---------------------------------------
The next week was chaotic. Eddie had to work, and Steve had to pack some more stuff to live with Eddie.
Steve had a scheduled interview with one of the school board officials put in charge of the investigation for the next day, so he needed his best suit and hair products.
Robin was coming by for dinner that night so Steve could unwind with his two favorite people, so Eddie wanted to make sure he had her favorite dinner prepared, despite Steve insisting she didn’t care about things like that.
Eddie managed to get in touch with Jonathan and didn’t even have to explain everything; Will had already called him crying the day before about his favorite guidance counselor. He told Eddie that Will had already met with the principal and someone from the school board explaining his side of things, and Joyce had a meeting that day to do the same. He offered to do whatever was needed to make sure Steve kept his job.
“Man, I will owe you an entire body’s worth of tattoos if you can help us in any way.”
“Nah, you guys did something amazing for Will. I help when I can, but the shows we do don’t pay much by the time we split it, and my job barely covers the bills as it is. The fact you were willing to pay for his application fee means so much to us, dude.”
“It’s nothin’ man, seriously. I saw what he’s capable of. And his art is what brought me and Steve together, so it seems kind of like fate.”
“Yeah, man, maybe. Can you bring Steve to our session? I’d love to meet him, make sure he’s doing okay so Will can calm down a little.”
He agreed, and texted Steve to let him know the plans.
Everything was happening fast, but that seemed to be the usual for them, and Eddie was learning that life in the fast lane might be okay.
—------------------------------
Steve was extra cuddly when he was at home, but they never went further than soft kisses and gentle touches as they curled into each other on the couch or in bed.
Eddie knew neither of them were in the right mindset for more, not until things calmed down for them.
But the evening that Steve came with Eddie to the shop for Jonathan’s session, they both felt a lot of tension. Steve because this was his favorite student’s protective brother, who definitely held a lot more power over the situation than he realized. Eddie because even with Jonathan completely on their side, it may not mean anything.
Steve was charming, though, when he wanted to be. It wasn’t fake, he genuinely cared about Will and the way this all played out, and wanted Jonathan to know he wanted to keep being the best counselor he could be for him.
“Will talks about you all the time. I’d hate to see where he’d be without you, man. Seriously, thank you for everything you’ve done for him.”
Steve wasn’t going to successfully hold back the tears, not without immense effort, so he didn’t. He let them pool, then fall, and smiled at Jonathan to let him know that he was okay, just had a lot of emotions about everything.
Jonathan hugged him hard, patting his back a few times and smiling at Eddie over his shoulder.
“You did the right thing, Steve. No matter what they say, you did what was right, okay? You did good.”
Eddie raised his brows, but Jonathan just shook his head once.
“Sometimes, Will just needs to hear that. I think you and Will are really similar and I don’t want you to worry. He’s applied and they can’t take that away from him. Everyone’s fighting for you, okay?”
“Okay,” Steve sniffed against Jonathan’s shoulder.
When he pulled away, Eddie opened his arms to comfort him for a moment, just long enough for Steve to take some deep breaths and stop shaking.
“Alright! Enough of me crying. You came for a tattoo. I’ll go grab you some water from the fridge, how’s the temperature in here? You want a blanket?”
Eddie couldn’t help but look at him fondly, at his natural caregiver attitude that came out when he felt most comfortable.
“Water would be great, but no blanket. I’m just getting something small today.”
“Oh, can I see?”
Jonathan smiled and held out his phone, showing him a picture of a sketch.
“Will drew that.”
“He did. It’s a memory he had of us when we were little, but instead of doing it in detail, he stuck to line art. Wanted to use it for a school project, but when I said I wanted it tattooed, he kept it at home.”
“It’s amazing. I can tell it’s you guys even with just outlines.”
“He’s just good at capturing feeling in anything he does.”
Steve nodded.
Eddie looked it over and nodded, too.
“You know, if the art thing doesn’t work out, he’s always got a chair here if he wants to be licensed. I could use someone like him in the shop.”
“I’ll let him know,” Jonathan smiled.
The tattoo went quickly, the conversation between them flowing easily about all kinds of things: Will, Jonathan’s band, Joyce, his job.
By the end, Steve had Jonathan’s number, though he reminded him it might be best not to use it until after the investigation, just to be safe.
“Can you just tell Will that I’m proud of him and that no matter what happens, I don’t regret anything? Neither does Eddie. I’ll still support him however I can.”
“Of course, man. You take it easy though. He’d be upset to know how stressed you are,” Jonathan patted his shoulder, then shook Eddie’s hand before he waved and left.
“I don’t know what I’ll do if I get fired,” Steve’s voice shook as he turned to Eddie, who had started cleaning up his area.
“Sweetheart, come here,” Eddie said, setting down the tattoo gun and removing his gloves.
Steve listened.
“Can you do something for me?” Eddie asked softly.
“Yeah, anything.”
“Can you kneel right here? Just for a couple of minutes.” Eddie gestured between his now opened legs at the floor.
The floor was probably cleaner than most people’s kitchen counters with how much he swept, mopped, and sanitized it, but a small part of Steve was still worried about being on the floor.
“What’s your color, sweet boy?”
“Yellow.”
“Sit in my lap and let’s talk about it,” Eddie moved his legs a little closer together and patted his knee. “You’re okay, sweet boy. I want you to be comfortable, always. Why is it yellow?”
“Um. I don’t know.”
“You’ve been on the floor here before on your knees, right?”
“Mhm.”
“Is it just the stress of everything?”
Steve thought about it. He knew that was a small part of it, no matter how much he knew he would probably feel better after. And the floor being dirty was a small part of it, too, but that didn’t bother him before.
“I think it’s something else. I don’t know what, though.”
“That’s okay. We can give it a try anyway if you want, or I can just finish cleaning up and we can go home if you still don’t want to.”
He didn’t want to go home, he wanted to be good. He wanted to try.
“No. I want to. Green. Please.”
His voice was a little shaky, probably not very convincing that he actually did want to try, but Eddie only took a moment to look him over and make a decision.
“On your knees, then, baby girl.”
Steve shivered at the name, never realizing how much being called one thing could send him so close to the edge.
He dropped to his knees, probably a bit too hard going off the vibrations he felt along his knees and shins. But it was a good pain, a reminder that he was gonna be safe with Eddie.
Eddie touched his cheek, leaned in to kiss him softly, before pulling away completely.
“So good for me.”
And then he turned back to his station and continued working.
Steve didn’t know what he’d been expecting, but being ignored wasn’t on the list. Maybe just being touched gently for a few minutes while he calmed down, or being praised until he started to believe the words Eddie said so wholeheartedly. Maybe even being told to rub off on Eddie’s leg.
He whimpered, but Eddie ignored it.
“Sir?” Steve asked, his voice breaking slightly.
“I’m gonna finish up my stuff, sunshine. You can be good.”
But could he? Like this?
The expectation was silently set that he would just sit quietly at Eddie’s feet while he worked, like a dog waiting for its master.
Maybe any other time, he’d be okay with that. But right now, with how low he was feeling, he didn’t like knowing he was below Eddie.
Eddie didn’t seem to catch on, though, too busy trying to clean up his station.
Steve felt tears spring in his eyes, not the kind he liked, not the ones that meant he was going to fly over the edge. More like the ones that meant he was being pushed over the edge with no one to catch him at the bottom.
“Red.”
Eddie immediately dropped what he was doing, his hands pulling Steve off the floor and into his lap, pushing his face into his neck so he was as close to him as possible.
“It’s okay, sweet boy. You did good for me. I’m so proud of you for using your word when you needed to. I love you so much,” Eddie spoke slowly, softly, rubbing his back and arms, touching every inch he could reach without moving him away from his body.
Steve cried silently, a part of him feeling stupid for his reaction, for even having to use his word for something as simple as kneeling.
He was trying to listen to Eddie, soak in the praise despite his failure to be good this time, allow himself to know that deep down, he was still Eddie’s good girl.
“Let’s get you some water and some of the chocolate bar I have in my desk,” Eddie whispered against the side of his head.
“No, don’t go,” Steve wrapped his arms around his neck, his legs around his waist. “No.”
“I’m taking you with me, sweetheart. I’m not leaving you. Not now, not ever.”
The promise was made so easily, like Eddie didn’t even have to consider how much he wanted and needed to stay. Steve let the words wrap around him, warmth spreading through his chest and stomach, down his legs and through his arms, tingles in his head running down his spine.
Words held power. Eddie held power. Steve held power.
“Not leaving you either.”
It felt like nothing when he said it, too quiet, too nervous. But Eddie shivered like he was giving him the secret to life.
“In it forever with you, sweetheart.”
“Want forever with you.”
Eddie pulled his head up so he could kiss him, his tongue licking along his bottom lip and silently asking for entrance that Steve would always, always give.
It was still soft, careful, like Eddie knew if he pushed too much, Steve would collapse.
Eddie was good at this. He was good at reading Steve, good at understanding what he needed more than even Steve did.
Eddie stood up, holding onto Steve with very little effort, and walked them to his office where his mini fridge sat full of water, soda, and Gatorade.
“Water or something else?”
“Can I have orange soda?”
“Of course, sweet thing.”
Eddie leaned over to grab the soda from the fridge and then sat Steve down on his desk to open it for him. As Steve took a few sips, Eddie found his emergency chocolate bar in his desk drawer.
“Twix okay?”
“My favorite,” Steve smiled.
He was starting to feel better, at the same level as Eddie again, and not close to falling anymore.
Eddie opened the Twix and fed him a bite, smiling as he watched him chew and swallow.
“Wanna tell me what was going on in your head, sweetheart?”
Steve took another bite, then a sip of his soda, and kissed Eddie’s chin.
“I think I just felt too low. Like you were better than me and you didn’t even wanna look at me. I know it’s not true, but you just weren’t paying attention to me and with everything going on, I felt like…I dunno. Useless I guess,” Steve shrugged, tried to act like it wasn’t a big deal.
Eddie’s face fell, but he quickly schooled his features back to a soft smile, kissing Steve’s lips softly.
“I’m so sorry I made you feel that way, sunshine. You mean everything to me and I certainly don’t think you’re useless. I would never think that.” Eddie ran his hands through Steve’s hair slowly, keeping him calm as he spoke. “I should have thought about how you’d feel. You know I love you more than anything, right?”
Steve nodded.
“Do you need to talk about anything?”
Steve knew he did, but he wanted to be in the comfort of their bed, Eddie’s arms keeping him safe and warm.
Before he could answer, his phone started buzzing in his pocket.
With everything going on, he was hesitant to ignore any phone calls, never knowing when someone from the school board would call. He quickly pulled his phone out, relaxing a bit when he saw it was Robin.
“Hey, Robs.”
“Steve.”
Her voice was quiet, like she was trying not to be overheard. She was home alone, though, a rare day off being used to relax and ignore the world.
“What’s wrong?” Steve pushed Eddie away gently so he could stand up, already trying to focus so he could find his keys. He’d driven them to the shop today in case he had to leave for any reason, and he’d never been so appreciative of his past self as he was now.
“Your mother is here.”
“What do you mean?”
“I mean that your mother is standing in our living room, complaining about the fort of blankets I was living in on the couch, and asking for you.”
Steve felt his body go cold, his legs only keeping him upright because Eddie was standing right next to him supporting his weight.
When did he get there?
“Is that Steven on the phone?” His mom asked in the background. “Why is his stuff gone from his room? It looks like he doesn’t even live here.”
“Put her on, Robs,” Steve said, voice lacking any enthusiasm over having to talk with his mom suddenly, without preparation.
There was a small sound of the phone shifting between hands, then his mom clearing her throat.
“Steven, will you be home soon? Robin seems to be unwell. She’s living on the couch,” his mother was more tolerable than his father, but her snooty tone wasn’t really welcome at this point, especially not when the judgment was being aimed mostly at Robin.
“Why are you at the apartment?”
“I heard about your job. Your father told me that I should leave it alone since you clearly didn’t want our help with anything, but he’s quite an asshole, and I’m not.”
Steve smirked, though he’d never admit it to her. He knew she didn’t actually like his dad, it was just too much of a hassle to go through a lengthy divorce and divide assets. He was almost certain they both saw other people at this point, yet they were still miserable.
“There’s not much to do about it. The investigation has to happen first.”
“Which is probably unlawful at this point.”
He could hear the eyeroll in her voice. Eddie’s eyes were watching him as he responded.
“What do you mean unlawful?”
“Well, the Byers boy, Will, gave permission for Eddie to be there. It’s not your money that was used. Interviews were already conducted with multiple parties confirming that story. They’re withholding pay from you that was earned before your suspension started, which is its own lawsuit, really. In fact, I’m certain one phone call to the school board would have you back in your office by tomorrow morning,” she stated seriously, though he could almost hear the start of a smile in her voice.
“But I did technically break confidentiality.”
“Which would be damn near impossible to prove without camera footage of the entire interaction, which isn’t possible, especially since all parties involved have the same story about having permission to do so.”
“But he’s a minor, he can’t give verbal permission.”
“Steven, do you really think I have earned millions of dollars as a lawyer by being an idiot?”
Steve sighed.
His parents were smart, much smarter than he would ever be, and that’s why he always felt so inferior to them and their expectations of him. They had successful careers, wealth, and good looks, even with their older age. They hadn’t been good parents, neglectful was the term his first therapist used, manipulative and downright abusive was thrown around by his second therapist. But they did show up when he needed them most, or at least, his mom did.
She was showing up now.
Maybe he just had to let her do it. Maybe she needed this distraction after her diagnosis.
Maybe this could provide some healing for Steve.
“What can you do?”
“I need to know where you’ve up and moved to.”
“I’m living with Eddie for the month, maybe longer.”
“Eddie?”
“My boyfriend.”
Eddie was smiling at him, running his thumb along his hip to keep him relaxed.
“When did this happen?”
“Uh.”
“Oh, good Lord, Steven. I’m not going to bite his head off.”
“Last week.”
“You moved in last week?”
“Uh. No. He became my boyfriend last week?”
He was met with silence. It wasn’t often he shocked his mom into silence; She’d always been able to come up with some kind of response.
“Text me his address. We have a lot to discuss.”
The call ended, and Steve looked at Eddie.
“How do you feel about meeting my mom?”

Turn of the Tides (Alexia Putellas x Reader)
A/N: Hello! I’m back with the long awaited sequel to this fic. I feel it’s a bit rusty and a little all over the place, but I also think this is the best it’s going to get. Let me know what you think.
Tumblr media
The following morning, you were already up before your alarm had gone off. As soon as the light started peaking through your windows, you were up and your troubled mind had issues falling back asleep. So, you just laid there, wishing that you could shut your brain off long enough to fall back asleep.
However, that never happened and you continued to mindlessly toss and turn in bed. Before you knew it, more than an hour had passed and your phone’s alarm was blaring in your ears. You glared at the offending item because even if it hadn’t woken you up, it still forced you to face the day ahead of you.
Quickly, you reached over to shut the alarm off with a grumble as if you were just about to fall back asleep. Letting out a full body sigh, you swiped the black off your body and got out of bed.
The headache from your night of crying and dehydration was screaming at you as your feet hit the floor. Sluggishly, you willed your feet to move in the direction of the bathroom. When you got there, you stared hard at your reflection, cringing at what was staring back at you. Your eyes were red, dark bags sitting underneath, and your face puffy from the night before.
For a moment, you considered calling in sick and skipping on practice for the day. No one would bat an eye at the excuse. However, you were determined to put on a façade where nothing was wrong. It had been your choice to lie to your friends. Now you had to live the lie you told.
With this new determination, you splashed water on your face and got ready for the day. As you walked out of your room a few minutes later clad in your training gear, it wasn't hard to miss the sympathetic looks Lucy and Keira were sending your way. You just sent them a tight lipped smile in return, graciously accepting the piece of toast and banana Keira presented you with. Silently, the three of you headed out of the apartment.
If you thought getting out of bed was hard, practice was even worse. Not only did you have two couples checking in on you every other second, but you also had to face the girl who rejected you without even knowing you had planned on asking her out in the first place.
At the beginning, it started with you shyly slipping away whenever the captain tried to join whatever group you were in. Then it quickly became dodging her touches whenever she managed to sneak up on you. Eventually, you forced yourself to talk to her, but even then those conversations were short as your answers were curt.
About halfway through practice, Alexia must have decided to give you some space because she stopped trying to get your attention. But that didn’t mean you couldn’t feel the weight of her stares from across the field. You fought the urge to turn and try to catch her eyes like you would at most practices.
Some of your teammates had noticed the growing distance between you and the captain and didn’t know what to make of it. They did their best to act as if nothing was wrong and for that you were grateful. If you had to engage now, then you’d have to explain your odd behavior, and you’d rather not at the moment.
After training you sat down on the bench, trying to catch your breath as the Barcelona sun beat down on you. You leaned back against the chair, eyes closed as if the bright rays of the Barcelona sunshine could breathe some life into you.
It was a complete surprise when you felt water splashed on your face, enough to force a small yelp to escape. You brought a hand up to wipe the droplets off your face before facing the accuser.
When you opened your eyes, you felt a small flutter in your stomach when you saw Alexia standing over you with a small smile on her face. The hopeful look on her face when she caught your attention made you feel a bit guilty with the way you had been treating her today. But then last night came crashing to the forefront of your mind and you immediately dropped your stare to your shoes.
You missed how her smile had fallen when you broke eye contact, but she tried not to let her bother her as she tried to fix whatever was wrong between the two of you.
“Are we okay?” Ale asked, sitting down beside you but leaving a decent amount of space between the two of you. “Did I do something wrong?”
You frowned at the assumption. While you were sad and hurt that Alexia was dating again, she hadn’t done anything wrong. If anything, you felt as if you were in the wrong for falling for your best friend and making things awkward.
Feeling guilty when you noticed her downcast expression, you quickly jumped to reassure her, “No, you didn’t do anything. I’m sorry, I’m just not feeling my best right now.”
The way Alexia’s shoulders relaxed at your words made you feel worse. She really must have been contemplating your pulling away all morning. “Is everything okay? Can I do anything to help?”
“I’ll be alright. Just probably need a good night's sleep tonight and I’ll be as good as new,” you answered, hoping it didn’t sound as forced as it felt.
“So you’ll still be okay for dinner tomorrow?”
“Dinner? Did we make plans or something?” you asked, wracking your brain for what you were missing.
Alexia was shocked. She didn’t think the two of you needed to make plans. It’s almost like tradition at this point. "Tomorrow is Valentine's Day, and we always spend it together. I just thought we would this year too."
While a part of your heart fluttered at the assumption that the two of you would be together on Valentine's Day, the wound from last night was still too fresh.
"You didn't bring it up before," you said, hoping that the implied excuse was in there.
"I didn't think I had to. I thought it was like our thing," Alexia explained.
You shrugged, trying to appear nonchalant and hoping that Alexia didn’t notice the way you were toeing your cleats, a nervous habit of yours. "Um, I have plans."
“Plans? What about our Valentine’s Day thing?”
“Oh, right. I’m so sorry, I totally forgot,” you lied, fighting the urge to cringe out how it sounded. “But now, maybe you can take that girl you went with on a second date.”
“I told you already, I don’t want to date her.”
“Maybe you should give her another chance. Alba wouldn’t set you up with someone if she didn’t think you’d like them,” you reasoned.
You weren’t sure why you were trying to push Alexia into the other woman’s arms, when all you wanted to do was pull her close. Maybe it had something to do with just wanting her to be happy. Maybe if she moved on you could too. Or maybe it was something else entirely.
Alexia bobbed her head as if she was contemplating the idea, “That’s true, but I don’t know. I didn’t feel anything when we were out. She’s nice, but I don’t think she’s the one for me.”
“You never know. Maybe she was just nervous. Give her a call,” you told her, standing up and gathering your things as you walked away before she could say anything.
****
Later that day, Alexia was wandering around the city, feeling a little lost in the place she called home. Somehow in the last 24 hours, you and her had just hit a rough patch out of nowhere. She’d never felt like she couldn’t talk to you, yet today it felt like you wanted to be anywhere she wasn’t.
In need of some good company who could help her make sense of this whole mess she found herself in, she made her way to her friend’s apartment. Mapi didn’t seem too surprised to see the captain and immediately let her in.
Before even sitting down, Alexia is turning to her friend, "Do you have plans for tomorrow?"
"Nothing special. It's whatever Ingrid wants to do," Mapi answered. “I usually let her decide and then follow along. It’s easier that way.”
Alexia nodded her head in thought, "I have reservations at Martina's. It's yours if you want it."
"Why am I not surprised that La Reina has reservations for Martina's?" Mapi joked, playfully knocking Alexia's shoulder with her own. "Your special date fell through?"
Alexia shrugged, "I was going to take Y/N, but she had plans."
"You were going to take Y/N?" Mapi clarified, wanting to make sure she heard correctly. Alexia nodded, nonchalantly, not even noticing the look of surprise on Mapi's face. "On Valentine's Day? Like on a date?"
Alexia's head snapped up to face Mapi, "I never said it was a date. We just always hang out on Valentine’s Day together since we aren’t seeing anyone. I thought it’d be nice to go."
Mapi shook her head, “Madre mia! It may have been some time since you’ve dated someone, Ale, but in case you didn’t know, taking someone to dinner at a nice restaurant on Valentine’s Day could be considered a date.”
When Mapi put it that way, Alexia could understand how it could come across to anyone else. It did sound like a date. While Martina was a nice restaurant that people would fight to eat at, it was more than that to you and Alexia.
You and Alexia had stumbled across the small and intimate restaurant when it was just starting out. The two of you were instantly hooked on the food and the homey atmosphere of the place, frequenting the restaurant very often, even though it struggled to stay afloat at the beginning.
On slow days, the two of you were able to meet the chef/owner of the restaurant, quickly becoming friends. It was bewildering when you found out they were in financial trouble and were considering shutting down.
Wanting to help, the two of you would recommend the restaurant to friends and family, easily creating a steady stream of regulars for Martina. Word spread and soon the restaurant was flourishing, seating full capacity for dinner most nights. It was a well kept secret amongst the locals and very few visitors had the privilege of trying such a place.
Grateful for your friendship and help, Martina always made sure to have a table available for you two whenever you wanted. Now, with the place bustling with business, the two of you tried to keep your visits from being excessive, allowing more people to find the joy in the food and the safe space Martina was offering. It then became a place you and Ale would dine at for special occasions or when one of you really had a strong craving for one of the chef’s specials.
It had been a little while since the two of you had visited, and Ale thought it would be the perfect time to go. She never took the moment to consider the underlying meanings.
“I didn’t think of it that way,” Alexia said, but even as the words came out, she didn’t fully believe them. While you and Alexia had been spending Valentine’s Day together for the past few years, it was usually with takeout and a movie on the couch.
When Alexia had called Martina for a table on Valentine’s Day, she hadn’t really thought about why. It just felt like the right thing to do. In hindsight, she should have realized that it came from this shift between the two of you since her birthday.
Neither of you had talked about the kisses shared that night, but it was obvious that things felt different between the two of you. Touches were more bold, distance was almost nonexistent when standing together, tension was heavy. Yet, you both were waiting for the other to make a move.
In the back of her mind, Alexia knew she wanted things to be special. And to her, special was reliving all the beautiful moments with you that she shared at that specific restaurant you both thought of so fondly.
"Do you like Y/N, Ale?" Mapi asked, her voice startling the captain out of her thoughts.
"I don't know," Alexia admitted, staring down at her hands to avoid Mapi's gaze. “Maybe.” Mapi’s raised eyebrow was unnerving, “I think I do.”
“If you like her then why did the two of you decide to be just friends?”
Alexia literally did a double take, “What do you mean ‘decide’ to be just friends? We’ve always been friends.”
Mapi’s eyebrows pinched together in confusion as she processed Alexia’s statement. Slowly, the blonde defender started piecing everything together. Seeing her friend’s face holding so much sadness, confusion, and desperation to understand, made her sigh. “My friends are idiots,” the defender muttered under her breath.
"Mapi, what’s going on?” Alexia demanded, getting into Mapi’s face so she could press her for answers.
“Okay, I probably shouldn’t tell you this, but I think you really need to know,” Mapi sighed, preparing for the long conversation she’s been waiting to have with her friend since she first thought you two had feelings for one another.
****
When there was a knock on the door, you were more than happy to ignore it and hope that the person would go away. Lucy and Keira weren’t returning to the apartment tonight and you definitely weren't expecting anyone. So, you sank back into the couch and tried to enjoy your show.
However, the knocking was insistent. Just when you thought the person had given up, it started up again. Feeling as if the only way they'd get the hint was for you to tell them off, you begrudgingly got off the couch.
You grumbled to yourself as you trudged to the door, a blanket wrapped over your shoulders. Without even checking beforehand, you flung the door open, ready to tell whoever was behind it to leave.
To say you were surprised to find Alexia standing on the other side would be an understatement. You wrapped the blanket tighter around yourself.
“Ale? What are you doing here?”
“Mapi told me your plans fell through, so I thought I’d surprise you,” Alexia said, holding up a bag of food labeled Martina’s, “I brought some of your favorite.”
At that moment, your stomach grumbled, reminding you that you had forgotten dinner yet again. Looking back at Alexia, you could see her trying to contain a giggle, and it brought a soft smile to your lips.
Reluctantly, you stepped back and opened the door wider, letting the other woman into your apartment. With a triumphant grin, Alexia strolled inside, immediately heading over to the living room and unboxing all the food she had ordered onto the coffee table.
As you took a seat next to the other woman, you were internally cursing Mapi for getting involved. The defender knew you didn’t actually have plans and just wanted to use the day to wallow and grieve a relationship that never happened. And now Alexia was here in your apartment on one of the most romantic nights of the year. Mapi must have set this up.
“You didn’t have to do this, Ale,” you told her, sinking back into the couch.
“But I wanted to,” she said, heading to the kitchen for some plates and silverware. “Is this okay, or should I go? I don’t want to overstep.”
Hearing Alexia worry about overstepping made you realize that for the first time you two were tiptoeing around one another. You didn’t like it. So, you tossed your bruised ego aside in favor of returning to being friends. You’d rather have Alexia in your life as a friend than not at all.
“No, you can stay. I just thought you’d be out on your date.”
“I never called her,” Alexia sheepishly admitted, serving you your plate of food before going back in for her own.
“Why not?”
Alexia shrugged, chewing through a mouthful of food before speaking again, “Because it wouldn’t be fair to her if I dated her while I knew I had feelings for someone else.”
And once again you deflate at Alexia’s words. You didn’t think Alexia was capable of tearing your heart out twice in such a short period of time. Reminding yourself that you wanted to support her as a friend would, you stabbed yourself in the heart with your next words.
“If you have feelings for another girl, why didn’t you ask her on a date? You could literally date anyone you wanted, and they’d be lucky to have you.”
“Well, I wanted to ask her. Actually, I did ask her, but she turned me down. Told me she already had plans tonight.”
“She’s an idiot,” you said, missing the eye roll Alexia sent your way, “But why are you here? Like I said, you could be out with anyone right now.”
“I came here to find out why you turned me down,” Alexia said, turning to you with a serious face that had you placing your plate on the coffee table before you accidentally spilled it.
“What are you talking about? I never turned you down.”
“Yesterday after training I asked if we could go to dinner together. I wanted to take us to Martina’s. But you said no and that you were busy.”
Even though you could easily recall the moment in question, it didn’t clear anything up, “I didn’t know you were asking me on a date.”
“I didn’t know I was asking you on a date,” Alexia admitted, which served only to confuse you further. “When I asked you, I didn’t really think of it as a date, but later I realized how much I wanted it to be a date.”
“You did?”
She nodded her head emphatically, moving closer so she was seated right next to you, grabbing one of your hands and holding it in hers. “I like you and I really want to try being more than friends with you. I’ve liked you for so long but was scared to do anything about it. And then on my birthday, I got a small taste of you and I want more.”
“If all that is true, why did you go on a date with Alba’s friend?” you asked, slipping your hand out, despite the fact that you wanted nothing more than to feel the warmth of her hand in yours.
"I went on one date to get Alba off my back. And, you didn’t say anything about us after that night, I thought maybe you didn’t feel the same."
“You didn’t say anything either!” you retorted, not angry or accusatory, but as a reminder that Alexia was just at as much fault.
“I know and I feel like an idiot. I feel like I’ve been going back and forth so much on this because I don’t want to mess it up. I don’t want to mess us up.”
The silence that followed was surprisingly easy. The heavy tension you would have expected wasn’t there, which had to be a good sign in your book.
“Mapi told me all about that night at my apartment the other day. About how you were thinking of asking me out,” Alexia said.
“Of course she did. Is there anything she didn’t tell you?” you sighed, one hand over your eyes to block everything out for a second so you can sort through everything you learned in the last couple of minutes.
“Why didn’t you ask me?”
You dropped the hand off your face and stared at her in disbelief. “Are you serious? Did you really think I would ask you out after finding you coming home from a date with someone else. I may be hopelessly in love with you, Alexia, but I am not that pathetic,” you said, not even realizing your admission in all that word vomit.
If Alexia heard it, she chose to ignore it for the moment. There’s been so much leading up to the beginning of something that could be great, and she didn’t want to put it off any longer. She needed confirmation that you were both on the same page and willing to do this together.
“Ask me now,” Alexia said.
“I don’t think I can,” you whispered, hiding behind your hands once again.
Even though Alexia was right in front of you saying all the right words, everything you’ve been waiting for, you still couldn’t find it in yourself to take that leap. You’ve already felt the rejection once, and despite Alexia basically telling you that she’d say yes, you couldn’t do it.
Without questioning it, Alexia scooted closer once again, taking one of your hands in each of hers, slowly drawing them away from your face. Your eyes remained closed, but you felt as she moved your hands, leading them until they were resting on the side of her neck, your fingers brushing against the baby hairs just under them.
Then you felt her forehead softly leaning against your own, her warm breath falling against your lips. “I’m sorry if I’ve confused you over all of this,” she whispered, her voice soft as she tried to keep the tranquility of the moment in tact.
“It’s okay,” you said, your voice in the same steady tone as hers.
“What if I asked you? Will that work?”
“It might.”
With that being said, and the whole mess of what the last couple days have been, Alexia took the jump you both have been wanting to take for so long now.
“Will you go on a date with me?”
You nodded against her before leaning down to hide your face in her neck, your arms going around her as you hugged her tight. The feel of her arms sliding around your waist, her grip on you just as strong, it felt like things were finally falling into place.
At the same time, you both breathed a huge sigh of relief, knowing that the hardest part was now over and all the good times were about to come.

“Oh, come on L/N, it’s not that cold.” Yuyu laughs as she throws another snowball at your back.
Squeaking when the snow slides down your skin between your wings. “Yuyu!” Your quirk picked up making the immediate section around you colder.
Suddenly someone’s hands were on your shoulders. “Now Birdy, calm down a little bit. If you’re cold I can just keep your warm.”
You nearly shoved your classmate away with your wings, but the bandage that was holding two of the four in splints prevented that. “Mirio, I’d beat you if I could.”
“Awe come on Sunshine, don’t pout.”
Sighing a bit, you lean back into his hold. “Fuck off.”
“That’s my Birdy.”
You quirked a brow. “You know if anyone, but you called me birdy I’d probably get suspended.”
Feeling his chest as he hums you roll your eyes before continuing the walk to class.
Amajiki
“Y/N.” you whip around completely forgetting where you were and the pile of fabric that your classmates had stacked on your head to see how much weight could be put on your head before you stopped working-- which was a lot more than they thought so they stopped mid-way.
Your body teetered as you tried to adjust it, so you sat properly-- not a poor example of a shrimp while you were working on your projects-- and you also fell backward because a lot of the fabric was still attached to the bolts. Before you could fall back into the precariously placed bag of sewing supplies, arms pulled you up, so you were at least on the tips of your feet as Amajiki kept you from sustaining further injury than was allowed.
“Sorry Amajiki,” you chuckle a little bit glancing at the mess behind you. “Damn I could have sworn I told them to clean up everything after they were done.”
“Are you okay Lovely?” His face was red, and he would probably pass out if he didn’t calm down soon.
“Yes, I’m fine, but why the nick name all of a sudden?” you chuckle making sure you had a clear space to stand.
You could just see his head practically burning up from how red he was getting. “ I- I
Smiling, you give him a quick hug. “I like it, Tamaki.”
He stood there for a moment before pulling his tall form into a ball on the ground, incoherent rambling comes out, but you did hear a mention of your name and how he thought lovely suited you which made your ears burn as you tried to busy yourself with cleaning up the mess.
Shinso
He could have been stereotypical and called you “Kitten” or “kitty” but no. You didn’t remember a cat in his eyes, and no matter how much he argued that he was a cat person, your personality was not cat like.
“Puppy, are we out of the cat treats again?” Hitoshi asked one day while you were busy cleaning the bathroom.
You nearly took out the tub spout with the speed with which your head came up, recoiling from impact you fell face first into the cloth you were using to clean the tub. There was no worry about chemical burn you were rinsing the tub which made how you hit the tub spout even more confusing. Hitoshi runs into the bathroom to see what happened and if you were okay.
Although it was a bit strained you managed to speak. “Y-yeah we ran out a few days ago I wrote it on the fridge.”
Shutting off the water and checking the back of your head for any sign of blood Hitoshi groans. “Thats not important are you okay puppy?”
There it was again. You look up at him, eyes big as you point to yourself. “You mean me puppy?”
“Yes, you’re…
He didn’t get a chance to finish his explanation as you ignored the slight throbbing in the back of your head as you practically tackled him to the ground into a hug. Defeated and tired, his hand rubs your back as he doesn’t even bother getting off the still very wet floor, he’d have to take a long bath later and he’d be lucky if you let him have that long before you complained that you wanted his attention again.
“Yup, definitely a puppy.” he sighs, as you hug him a little tighter. It was a wonder you weren’t in any specialized field with how much strength you had, but it was mainly due to working at your family’s pet shelter and being the only one confident enough to handle the more playful dogs.
Bakugo
You’d called your boyfriend many different terms of affection depending on how you were feeling. But he very rarely used one for you. It didn’t matter to you because you knew he showed affection differently.
“Tsuki!” You shout from the second floor of your house, you both decided early on to buy a house and whoever wanted to keep it could not that it mattered he had absolutely no plans of leaving you alone at any time.
When you were met with silence you leaned out of the doorway. “Tsuki!” being a little bit louder.
Thinking that he was wearing headphones or something you were about to scream for him. Only for him to tap you on the shoulder. Nearly jumping from your skin, you leaned a little too far on the banister. His arm catching you before you can fall over.
“I just keep catching you don’t I, happy?”
You nearly narrow your eyes at him, but he just pulls you closer before kissing the top of your head.
“Happiness needs someone to be Happy.” he mumbles.
You smile as you hug him tightly. “We gotta replace the banister now, don’t we?”
“Yes, we do, the hell were you yelling about anyway?” he frowns looking into the room you were just in.
You pull him in and point. “Ah, um… we should probably call an exterminator.”
Midoriya
You roll your eyes as Midoriya was once again showing off during agency training, everyone was doing their best to get stronger and not everyone had the correct conditions to train their quirks-- you included, seeing as every time you tried to train you regenerative quirk you were practically grounded to the school. IT wasn’t like you didn’t understand why he was praised, there was more to it than simply training. But you still found yourself saying: “Congratulations do you want a cookie?”
Midoriya smiles as he pulls you into a tight hug. “Yes, I do Cookie.”
Your heart leapt a bit as he did this, but deciding to be a bit of a menace he bites your cheek. Pushing him away you huff. “That’s not sanitary I’m covered in sweat.”
Suddenly he was pushed off you. “For fucks sake keep your damn hands to yourself.” Bakugo groans as he nudges you a bit too.
Which was a bit of an alarm for you since he was not one to pull his punches with any of them. You grab his arm watching as he seemed to relax a bit. “How long have you been avoiding me Blasty?”
“None of your damn business mind reader.”
“Awe come on, Kacchan, Cookie is as sweet on you as they are on me,” Midoriya pouts a bit as he pushes against Bakugo’s still extended arm.
Bakugo rolls his eyes a bit as he doesn’t budge. “I don’t want any part of your sappy relationship.”
“Are you sure? Puppy would probably be much more excited if you were a part of it,” you tease as you wait for your quirk to stop patching him up.
Kaminari
Bouncing from one foot to the other you hated waiting for Power-loader to allow you into the lab, it wasn’t like you were banned from it you simply were given time limits. With your quirks it was kind of like a cooldown because who knew how dazed you’d be if you spent the entire day using your flame breath. Once allowed inside you zip from one space to another quickly grabbing your things and returning to your earlier tasks. Kaminari, who needed you to recalibrate his disk shooters.
“You look like a little bumblebee buzzing about.” He chuckles.
Pausing in your tracks you look directly at him. “Thank you for the compliment. Now put your disk shooters on my table space so I can start fixing them.”
“Of course, bumblebee,” He beams before getting hit with something.
“No. No.” You frown covering your face, because now your heart was in your ears. Great you’ll have to face the consequences of this later because this idiot decided to say something like that. Making fall a little bit more in love with him.
Hearing a sharp. “L/N!” before trying to clean up the mess you’d just made.
Kirishima
Since you had a harder time with Japanese than you’d like to admit so early on in your relationship you called your friend Kirishima “Edgy” because for some reason his name just made you think that was the right way to say his name on top if his quirk.
“Eiji, where are my extra weights?” It wasn’t uncommon for him to be in your apartment at any moment simply because he enjoyed being in your company.
He looks around. “Uh, I dunno Babe do you think you forgot them?”
“No, I haven’t even used them yet.” You mumble trying to think.
“Baby.”
As you pace around the mini gym you had in your apartment you look for the missing weights.
“Love.”
Not finding them in the closet you cross your arms.
“The light of my life.”
Glaring at the ground you try to wrack your brain for where you could have placed them coming up blank when your face is picked up and squished in a hand that was rather large.
“Rosebud.”
Blinking you look at Eijiro confused as you felt embarrassed for ignoring him this whole time before a sharp smile is in your face.
“You left them by the door rosebud.” he chuckles a bit before planting a kiss on your nose and pulling away.
“You’re the worst you know that right?”
He simply laughs before pulling you into a hug and preparing your face with kisses.
Shoji
Dating was difficult with your quirk. Eyes constantly glued to the ground and never looking at another if you can help yourself. So, when your current partner started referring to you by a pet name you couldn’t help but look up at him. Towering over you small frame as he crossed his arms.
“Stardust when was the last time you took a break?” Mezo wasn’t mad and you knew that, but your head hung down a little bit.
“I can’t remember,” was all you could muster before he plucked you up from your computer chair like he normally would.
Pouting a little bit, it was hard for you to even fathom why he called you this, even as you were being placed on the couch.
As if reading your mind Mezo chuckles as he pulls a blanket from the nearby chair. “I call you stardust because of the performance from school.”
“Huh?”
“Because the first time you really looked up your eyes sparkled like stars.”
You pull the blanket over your head not even wanting to look at him. “Mezo that’s not fair.”
Todoroki
“Sho?” you felt like every time you visited this man, you’d lose him somewhere in the maze that was his childhood home. Not that there were any happy memories left from the large place, but you found that for his other family members sakes he returned.
You were surprised by how accommodating the entire building was, though you had to gently remind yourself that not everyone was the same height as Enji. Not finding the dual quirk user anywhere near where you’d been, you began hunting for him. Because the moment you left without telling him first you could only imagine the problems that would cause and the abuse of money that would start.
As you looked around for your boyfriend you wondered about something for a while now, Shoto had never referred to you by your given name, he’d often tap you or stood behind you-- often giving you a near heart attack when you’d turn and almost smack him with your wing.
“Sho, where are you?” you call out a bit as you kept looking around.
Fuyumi waves as she notices you in the hall. “Oh, y/n I was wondering where were, have you seen Shoto?”
Shaking your head, you sigh. “I was just looking for him so I can let him know I was gonna head home.”
