This time ten years ago, I assumed I was going to die.

It wasn't something I wanted, let alone tried to achieve; it wasn't even something I consciously considered. It had seeped into my subconscious because my world was falling to pieces around me. There was an existential threat to my self-concept. I was constantly terrified, sick with shame, drowning in guilt. My deep-rooted compulsion for secrecy made everything worse. There was one possible way to turn things around, but it depended on the mercy of people who were infamous for being unmerciful.

The worst was yet to come.

But things are very different now. I am alive and I'm staying that way.

I'll have to admit that the arriving separately is worrying me a bit, I think the engagement ring thing is nothing since she's wearing her wedding band, but the arriving separately is a bit off.

I'm newish here and seeing that people say we might not see them for all of August, is frustrating ,because I'd like reassurance that they are okay, and now I have to wait a month for it.

With all due respect, I don't understand why.

As far as I know, all the rumours about the Cambridges' marriage have come from Stan Twitter, from hater accounts. The original infidelity rumour started as a joke that has been perpetuated ever since, the rumour has never had any concrete "proof" and not even the Daily Star has published about it.

Now they are using an anonymous message that someone sent to an Instagram account about gossip as proof of something, the funny thing is that I know for a fact that ROYAL FANS have sent that account lies that have been published and that this fandom has repeated but people are believing it?

I saw that a lot of people were heartbroken that the Cambs didn't make it to Birmingham together, something that although not often has happened before. Catherine travelled with her APS, which makes me think she was making a private visit. William arrived in a helicopter, not the one they usually use by the way, with Charlotte and Catherine picked them up at the place where they landed. They both travelled with their APS and even their new communications secretary was there. If you watch the videos on Getty which are usually not edited, they looked and behaved normal. I would understand if all these rumours came from more reliable sources or at least from some RR not from a Twitter account with the handle @.sussexqueenandking.

I understand you are new but believe me if it wasn't for the Commonwealth games, the last time we would have seen the Cambridges would have been at Wimbledon. The royals usually disappear for the whole summer; at the end of August, a few photos of them arriving at Balmoral appear in the press and that's it, we see them again in September or maybe October. So you have nothing to worry about.

Re-coloured photo rendering of actress 'Gay Gibson' (Eileen Isabella Ronnie Gibson) - who went missing from the Durban Castle during a voyage between Cape Town, South Africa and Southampton, England in 1947.

The criminal case that followed was known as the Porthole Murder. Deck steward James Camb would later be convicted, after admitting to pushing Gay's body through her cabin porthole, discarding of the corpse 25 feet into the "shark infested" depths below.

Camb denied killing Gibson, claiming she had died of a "sudden illness" during consensual intercourse. He disposed of her body in a panic, fearing for his job, later describing this as "a beastly thing to do". Camb was sentenced to death, but a suspension of the death penalty meant he served just 11 years for the murder, though was later convicted of unrelated crimes - an additional 10 years.

It seems apparent through subsequent interviews with fellow shipmates and previous coworkers of Gay Gibson, that she did infact suffer with ongoing health issues, including an undisclosed heart problem and fainting spells. Evidence examined at the trial saw significant injuries to Camb's wrist, Gay's urine on her cabin bed and blood on her pillow. Gay was possibly pregnant at the time of her death.

I saw that JLO post that you reblogged featuring Lilibet and I would like to know what did you find humorous about attacking a 1-year-old baby by calling her ugly. If the Sussex Squad had done that to one of the Cambridge kids they would be in wrong, right so what's the difference here. I originally saw that post on Twitter and if you had seen the copious amount of replies and quote retweets that had deplorable comments about Lili’s appearance I wonder if you would still find that post funny. People need to learn that children are off limits, period!

Girl that tweet is not actually attacking Lili. In fact, it has nothing to do with her. It's a meme for stan accounts to use the most random, unexpected posts as a jumping off point for them to act insane. The point of origin is completely incidental. The joke here is in the absurdity of acting like a 50-year-old entertainer is in competition with a literal baby, like these stan accounts are actually feeling threatened lmao. I promise you these tweets are not being serious 😭

I know tone is hard to read over text. And of course I also understand that you might be feeling particularly defensive right now, as there obviously are people that actually are being awful about Lili. I also don't doubt you that there are people doing that same awfulness in the replies of that original tweet. But the tweet itself, the meme I reblogged . . . is not one of them. It's just stan twitter doing what stan twitter does best: being ridiculous.

They said before that Charlotte is a big fan of the lionesses so It's understandable why she was the one in the video. They are not pushing it's just a woman's thing either when William is the one that's patron. Yes George also likes football, and similar support was shown when his favourite teams have been playing.

This isn't just the laziest excuse of a defence I've ever read, it's also completely self-contradictory. This isn't club football, it's the national team. You don't have "favourites", you support your country.

So if, as you claim, George didn't appear in the video to the women because his "favourite team" is the men's team? Then perpetuating the idea that women's football is something of interest to women is exactly what W&K are doing – and even worse, then they've passed that on to their kid. George likes football (and we've seen him in an England shirt before so it's not like he's a... Wales diehard or something 🤣) so there's no excuse for not including him in a video for the national team playing a Euros final when they include Charlotte.
