i seriously need more narumi and mina moments because just imagine the relief mina felt when narumi joined, similar age to her and was also considered a prodigy in the force.
to have someone to share the burden of the defence force’s future with must’ve felt so freeing. because before he joined it was just her, age 18, being told that she was going to change kaiju extermination with her exceptional synergy with firearms. and she was so, so scared.
narumi doesn’t have the kind of skills or talent for long range combat like she does, but he’s also a top candidate (despite his behavioural issues- which aren’t much of a hinderance anyway) and mina doesn’t have to carry the burden of the future alone anymore
(although she’d never admit, given she probably views narumi as someone completely shocking i just think it’s so funny how she stood there like O_O when she first saw him)
like i LOVE seeing the contrast. mina who was sent onto the battlefield for the first time and was deathly afraid vs narumi who was sent out and immediately took action because that’s how he always lived (fighting)
and now they’re the top two strongest captains in the force and they will be the ones to lead the new generation..

okay so just think about it
character A has always been insecure about their nose, they don’t love the way it looks and they don’t like any attention on it. They were teased and bullied for their nose growing up, especially the lower half of it.
So, whenever they catch a cold/their allergies act up and their nose is all red, they feel the need to hide it as best they can so people aren’t looking at their nose: makeup, masks, tissues, scarves.
Now it’s the first time they’ve caught a cold since living with their partner B for the first time, and they keep going through great lengths to cover their nose until it’s time for bed.
B and A are laying facing each other, and A has the blankets up to cover their nose, and while B thinks it’s a cute for a second they do get a little worried.
“Babe don’t you think you should pull the blanket down a little so you can breath? I don’t want you to suffocate or anything”
B goes to pull it down but A quickly pulls it back up. B isnt really pressing it far just giving an awkward “Okaaayyy”
A tries to make something up; but they’re tired and feeling vulnerable so they admit the truth: with the blanket still covering their nose ofc.
“It’s just that, I really don’t like my nose, and now that’s it’s all red I’m afraid of you staring at it and realizing how ugly it is.”
B takes their hand and rubs A’s back. “Baby. I love all of you. And that includes your nose, which is absolutely beautiful by the way, and I’m not just saying that. It’s perfect. And you’re sick, you shouldn’t be worrying about how you look. Just worry about feeling better okay?”
A smiles and brings the blanket down “okay.”
“See! There you are! Mwah!” b plants a peck on the tip of A’s nose, which of course sends them into a miniature sneezing fit that makes them duck back into the blanket anyway to avoid spraying B.

I’m bored. Here are some awesome things about Hiyoko Saionji that I feel like people don’t talk about enough:
-Hiyoko is genuinely frightening without even trying! She apparently has an eye for horror and can set up creepy displays. She does it once in game with Mahiru’s photos and again in UTDP and even slightly earns a bit of amazement from Kokichi.
-Her ability to produce so many tears weirdly interests Ibuki as well as how insulting she can be. Honestly her whole relationship with Ibuki is magical and hilarious. Mostly because Ibuki just finds Hiyoko hysterical.
-Hiyoko is the only one to find Ibuki’s music awesome and vibes to it (which is a lot of screaming metal). Not very traditionalist dancer of you, Hiyoko.
-Curiously, she’s a fan of Pokémon and Professor Layton. The latter is pretty amusing because I assume she’d need more patience to play it.
-It seems a lot of what Hiyoko does is meant to be in contrast to her appearance to deter unwanted advances or to express herself in her own way. She loves flowers but enjoys ripping them out, uses foul language constantly, and torments ants and crabs (and wants to hunt for a snake). The flowers thing is especially interesting because it comes just as Hajime starts to think she would be picturesque among some lovely flowers.
-Hiyoko’s highest belief is that you should always protect the things you love. She fulfills this (and it sadly leads to her death) when she protects her remaining bond with Mahiru by leaving her hotel room to try and tie her kimono sash by herself.
-Hiyoko is actually pretty fond of Hajime and sees a lot of her father in him. In my opinion, her gradual bond building with him through her free times is one of the best ones in the game.
-She invited Hajime to one of her dances.
-Ever notice that Hiyoko has a tell if she is forming a friendship or changing around someone? She’ll offer them a crumb about herself, but will immediately deflect and act like she was lying about her past. Each and every time until the final free time when Hiyoko expresses herself to Hajime, she will quickly backtrack, say an insult, or act like her feelings were a lie only for Hajime to point out that he’s sure Hiyoko’s tears were real.
-Another fun detail: Unless it’s with Mahiru or the incident with Nekomaru, Hiyoko isn’t particularly terrified or perturbed by death or horrible stuff happening. Even during all of Monokuma’s first appearance, she taunts Fuyuhiko for getting freaked out instead. Even with Byakuya’s death, she tells Sonia and everyone else to get it together to investigate or they could die. TeruTeru’s death doesn’t bother her since she sees murder as an ultimate sin as well.
-Apparently if his little dream world is to be believed, Nagito ships Hiyoko and Mikan? Haha, don’t kill me. :)
