chalk outline

His body is on its side. They're facing each other. Ryunosuke thinks about what their chalk outline would look like. Two figures together in bed, curled around each other, like crescents. The placement of the hands would be tricky to get down in the outline but he’s seen some sophisticated chalk work from the Yard before. He thinks they’d be able to manage it.

He traces the line of Kazuma’s mouth with his eyes. These details are always lost in the outlines. No one cares about a frown, or that it shouldn’t be there, or that it could be a smile but the weight of everything keeps tugging on the corners of his lips, dragging them down.
