I have a dachshund and one day she looked at me with the sun behind her and her ears were glowing from the backlight. It made me want to draw a picture of Vasco that way! So here’s my best attempt at capturing the halo ear effect that occurred. Bonus: Vasco as a candy corn because his colors made me think of candy corn.

#my art #tron uprising #tronblr #theres not really info on the sirens as a group except women that just kind of show up for eye candy. Well not on my watch!#im thinking of them as a group that like. worship the grid as opposed to the users. which ties into Something else i was designing #they do also just spring out of the walls to play dress up on you though. for fun.#theyre not all women and in fact arent really women at all but they take on a feminine presentation and she/her pronouns #also yes thats gem. now that i think abt it i wish id given her a hair piece but whatever i dont wanna look at this anymore #thats also the siren that held up the disc at the race!#interestingly based on some concept art she was the original design for lux. and cutler was the original design for bartik #also ada had short hair </3 maybe she made her hair long when she had to go on the run...#ANYWAY as far as my design process. looked at a lot of thierry mugler #and i wanted to give them shapes/fabrics that arent typical w other programs eg the floaty organza and the fringe #the fringe btw i have an image in my head of it flying around as the lightcycles go past her. for dramatic effect #also the one w the helmet that kinda looks like teslers doesnt mean anything it was a complete accident ffhkegkgj

Anyway, I'll elaborate on this in the tags bc omg I'm going to yap your metaphorical ear off.

#SO during the whole “affogato almost takes over the citadel situation” dark cacao cookie [whom i will refer to as DC for my health]#dc basically took all the cookies that were hunting/fishing/patrolling the surrounding lands for food and stuff to make them work #on fortifying the wall #therefore two things happened 1] the cookies who still were hunting for food literally couldn't keep up with the apatites of cookies who #were working super fucking hard on the wall and 2] all the farming imports from the villages near by stopped almost entirely because #it was too dangerous to import their goods or get anything from the citadel [like tools] so they had to keep what they could for themselves #so effectively a famine was starting #and so cookies started eating things they probably shouldn't like deer crackers and wolf treats #looking at you Caramel and crunchy chip #caramel just never fully kicked the habit because it was what she had alot of and she would trade her rations for them with the villages #crunchy chip just allways did that tho. he's just like that #Dc on the other hand grew up in those lands before there was real communication between villages or a citadel to depend on for rations #so famine was common and rough. eatting bark and leaves were common place in his home so while he does eat jellys he never kicked the #craving for tree bark #on the plus side hes got a crazy strong stomach and can eat just about anything #whereas chocolate wafer is from a small village near the hollyberry kingdom so they have allways had an abundance of fruits and juice to #snack on. they managed to convince dc to add dried berrys to their imported goods list and now they are considerd a sweet treat #idk how to put this in kinda organically so ill just say the dc kingdom is a place that depends on imported goods heavily #things like precious metals and food usually comes from the hollyberry kingdom [and gc before her isolation]#in return dc kingdom provides military support and has the best medicine in all of earthbread. All the best doctors studied there #anywho im dome rambling sorry for whoever gets jumpscared thinking this was gunna be short #also if you notice my art suddenly being colored and stuff its because im trying to open coms soon! i want to nail my coloring before then!#^^ if you read all that. wow! have a candy!🍬#dreamy talks #[🧋]#chocolate wafer cookie

XY's candy is still in XXC's hand.#Hes still standing there. 180 degrees out of frame. Which is where your heart is! MEANING: XXC is in your heart right now #holding out a little piece of candy that has yet to be taken.#This comic was so close to being on the chopping block. Honestly I'm still not sure I should have kept it in #but I liked this scene a lot*** and tbh the yi-city arc isn't around for much longer. Let them have fun while it lasts.#not to mention I have few opportunities to build up spanish speaking XXC. And we are close to the pay off.#XY is in his 'oh god I need to start learning the basics of this language or I will drown' phases. Lets see how well he does!#***The candy represents so much! It's a symbol of unobtainability! Of comfort and status! Both A-qing and XY crave candy as much as they-#-crave those 'unobtainables'! XY has money to by candy (part of status) but he lacks love and comfort is his life!#So XXC offering them this little piece of candy is more than just a treat! It's a piece of love!#But as sweet as candy is....it cannot last....#(this also makes the scene where XY disrupts A-Qing's comfort by offering candy very interesting to analyze)

Zombies.

Nothin' much more to say than that.

As expected, world's gone to shit.

People have died.

Some are still holdin' on.

Not ashamed to say I think about handing them both over sometimes.

Our domesticated animals.

The academic types would be all over them for certain.

Zombies that don't bite? Trained, walking corpses?

Could bring us leaps and bounds closer to a cure.

On the otherhand... could just turn into a science fair project.

I wouldn't do that to my boys.

Even if I did, I wouldn't live long after. Because Simon isn't dead.

At least, I don't think he is.

No-one has been able to get close enough to confirm... Aside from Soap.

And Soap is definitely dead.

We thought the poor muppet had a stroke, at first; struggling to talk. To move.

Put him on bedrest. Ghost took watch (wouldn't give it up).

Didn't suspect a thing of either of them until I caught Ghost feeding him raw meat.

(Still don't know where it came from.)

They were quarantined for a bit. Ghost hadn't spoken for weeks at that point.

Just stared at us. Sat beside MacTavish.

He tried to break out when Soap started to go hungry.

I could have put them out of their misery.

Should have.

Gaz was on watch when Ghost finally broke out.

(Soap was too weak to walk by then.)

Let him go hunting. He brought back a body.

We didn't bother locking them up again.

No one has noticed yet. Not enough of a system left to report them to anyway. Options are to ignore it or shoot them yourself.

Guess their work makes up for it. Plenty of reason to turn a blind eye.

Soap is as well-behaved as ever. Quick on the uptake for someone who can hardly string a sentence together.

Simon is the worst he's ever been, but competent. Deadly. More ruthless than before.

Still hasn't spoken a word.

Suppose he is dead. Funny that his heart stayed beating once it finally took.
