comes in real late to announce that *deep breath* guess who finally finished ch.11???

#sneaky niki #lamb loose liveblogging #😎#god what a feat #it’s an important chapter bc it establishes HDS and SDY’s dynamic in the new context they find themselves in #but by far it was the hardest one to write #it’s over 11k #tbf in the past I have written even chapters of 37k for other fandoms #but those are horrendously hard to edit #so now I’m limiting myself to 10k-16k max #but this chapter really got me bad bc I had to change the climax point several times #and I still think the pacing is a bit off #but oh well #perfection doesn’t exist #‘done’ is better than ‘perfect’#and all that #well. that was nice. tomorrow I’ll try my hand at get a feel for ch.12 then!#cannot wait :D

TRISTAMP on the otherhand is ridiculously insane for making legato genuinely hold enough aggression towards ww #to literally activate his character arc in the season sgmkdsgm cannot wait for final phase where legato not only deeply detest vash but also #bears a similar aggression towards ww. actually im not sure whether i should be Excited for that or not but it would be an interesting #ruporas art

The LAYERS needed in a modern/human Dreamling au. Some level of Endless family dysfunction, obviously. Hob's family can be be dead or not, it's all good. Are they old enough to have individually gained the awareness they are off-puttingly intense and should hide it a bit at first, or still in that "no, why would I need to Elsa this" stage?

Option A is both of them trying to play it cool, like "don't scare him off" except they so badly want to go from zero to sixty.

(Death and Desire have ruthlessly drilled Dream with flashcards about how to react appropriately in situations.

Desire: it's your one-month anniversary, what do you do?

Dream: [hesitantly] NOT propose?

Desire and Death, conferring, because that's technically correct but the delivery was suspect.

Death, encouragingly: Good start. And? 

Dream: a nice dinner and maybe a walk?

Desire: well done!
