while I do think it would be funny if drainage won- I do not feel I can say that without giving some flowery reasoning. *Cracks knuckles* Drainage is a good example of a region that embodies the aesthetic rain world has with an ancient technically advanced world being overcome with nature. You travel through all the pipes and tunnels, seeing the creatures and plant life adapted to this environment years after the ancients left. Speaking of ancients its also the home to one of the few canonical depictions of an ancient (At least as far as I know its confirmed a canonoical depiction) and look at that face. Who wouldn't want to make that random ancient happy.

Hi! I hope this isn't a dumb question to you but it's something I've had in my mind while reading your fics.

How come you don't use the canonoical names Fiyero's parents? (Marillot and Baxianna) No hate! Just wondering.

Hey! No, it's not a dumb question at all, although it doesn't have a very interesting answer.

It's the same reason I don't use the canon names for Glinda's parents on the rare occasion I write them. When I started writing, I'd only seen the musical and so I didn't know there were canon names for his parents (although I'm not sure if we ever do get their names in the books outside of the family trees? I only read the first two and that was literally ten years ago).

So when I needed names for his parents, I just made them up.

By the time I'd read the first two books and became aware that there were the family trees available, Kasmira and Ibrahim were already just... there.

I think I probably debated for a moment after realising whether or not to use the canon names or not (can't say for sure because it was a very long time ago), but in the end decided not to.

I already knew who Ibrahim and Kasmira were, and because I write musicalverse (where we're told pretty much nothing about anyone's family) and not bookverse and also knowing that my version of the Vinkus in my head is so different from the book (again, because by the time I read the books, I'd already seen the musical twice and had just visualised the Vinkus pretty clearly in my head), I just kept them.

Again, not a very interesting answer but I hope that helps explain it.

So, canon speaking the ones in a relationship are Elena and Olivia, Pato has always been Elena´s closest friend and right hand, making pato and olivia go from just knowing each other to close friends as well.

BUT i must admit I have thought before about an AU in which they all become an OT3 just for fun and my own enjoyment really BUT still in canono they become a chaotic trio so they have each others back
