My take on the seven daughters of Triton, from the upcoming remake of The Little Mermaid! 

This was a lot of fun to draw, and I had to do a fair bit of guesswork to figure out how they would look based on the descriptions and the handful of photos we have (I think the only sister other than Ariel that we have a photo of is Karina)

His Majesty, The Queen Their Royal Highness, Descendant of the Queen and... Keppie :)

These guys live on a largely independent Alternian colony that has been governing itself (with empire supervision, of course) for generations.

Their planet is almost entirely water, so the fleet has turned a blind eye to the fact that their population is almost entirely comprised of off-color seadwellers. After all, the resources there need to be harvested, and that would be much more difficult with a society that can't even inhabit the planet they live on.

Even the royal lineage has started to look... A little more pink than fuchsia, but no one's really looking that closely.
