❤️🌷 'Just Another Day In Paradice.' 🌷❤️ A lovely morning with a 'Kitty Picnic' for breakfast with the 'Calico Crew'. ❤️❤️🍄🐈⬛❤️❤️ Then a bit of work in the garden. As you can see. 'The Calico Crew' is working hard to help me as I work hard planting the new 'Hibiscus' & doing other things in the front yard garden. Next they helped me make sure all the flowers, vegetables, & berries in both the front & backyard got a refreshing drink of water. ❤️❤️❤️ After working in the garden we had a 'Kitty Picnic' for dinner too. ❤️❤️ They make me so happy. I could be having a horrible day; but then after going outside & being given 'A Kitty Hello' & some 'Kitty Snuggles & Cuddles' I feel a lot better. 💖 Works every time. 💕 ❤️❤️❤️ I feel so blessed to have Hula & Tilly Billie inside to love me every single moment of every single day & to have the 'Calico Crew' loving me outside just as much. I love them all so much too. I can't help it. ❤️❤️☘️🐈❤️❤️ I also look forward to getting to know the 'Grey Charcoal Colored Cat' & her two 'Charcoal Colored Babies' that recently moved under the backyard deck. They are a little bit shy; but last year 'The Calico Crew' was also very shy, even feral. This year 'The Calico Crew' has accepted us into 'Their Pride' & we are all a family now. ❤️❤️❤️😺❤️❤️❤️ They are 'My Pack'. They are 'My Pride'. They are my 'Forever Family'. Always. 💕 ❤️❤️❤️😺❤️❤️❤️ Love, 'The Happy Cat Lady' (Not 'The Crazy Cat Lady', 'The Happy Cat Lady') ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 Sincerely, Christine & The Kitty-Cats Tuesday, June 28, 2022 (From Our Instagram) 💜💙💚💛🧡❤️ #catsofinstagram #cats #calicocatsofinstagram #calicocrew #thecalicocrew #Calico #homegrown #gardenfun #garden #outdoorcats #outside #funoutdoors #thegreatoutdoors #pets #petsofamerica #petsofinstagram #catsofinsta #jijicat #catness #mommyslittlehelper #mommyslittlehelpers #cat mom #cat dad #cat days #crazycatpeople #crazycatlady #happycatlady #meowgical #nature #growityourself #4paws #wiskers https://www.instagram.com/p/CfX0rnAL_vB/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
My cats have this meow that means "please come with me to fix this" after which they'll lead me to the problem in question, usually a empty (or 'empty') food bowl or a closed door they want open. They look at the 'problem', they look back at me, clear message.
What fascinates me is how this illustrates what they percieve as being in the realm of my 'power.' I control the food, I control the door, sure, but my cats love to sit on the balcony in the sun, and it has happened plenty of times that on a rainy day they come get me, go to the balcony and show me... the rain. "Please fix this" they say. "Please get rid of the wet"
"Silly kitty," I say, "I can't control the rain." I then walk into the shower and turn on the rain.
