Birthday Boy

It's Pablo's B-day very soon! Here's a little story for celebration of our golden boy ;)

Summary: You pretend to have forgot his birthday only to make the biggest surprise with his teammates.

You woke up first turning around to see Pablo sleeping peacefully next to you which made you smile knowing that today your boy was finally 19 years old.

You already spoke to his friends and family about the surprise later tonight telling them about your plan of pretending to have forgotten his birthday at first.

"Good morning hermosa" Pablo finally woke up smiling and leaning in to kiss your lips and you smiled running your fingers through his messy curls while kissing him back.

"Good morning cariño..I'm will have such a long day today" you sigh pretending to make it sound like you were unhappy about it which made him furrow his eyebrows.

"What do you mean? We are doing dinner right??" he asked and you acted like you had no idea what he was talking about.

"I will be so busy today, cariño..maybe tomorrow?" you said almost laughing at the way his face fell and he just nodded. Awe poor baby!

"I need to get ready for training.." he said shortly afterwards getting up and leaving without another word. He was certainly not happy about this but that will only make the surprise more fun!

"Happy birthday hermano!" Pedri was first to walk up to Pablo and hug him but he only gave him a weak smile really not in the mood after you forgot about his birthday. How could you forget!?

"Birthday boy is here chicos!!" Balde yelled when Pablo entered the dressing room and everyone congratulated him noticing that he was clearly in a bad mood. They of course knew why but played along.

"Que pasa hermano? You don't like your own birthday??" Pedri asked while Pablo was changing and he just shrugged not knowing if he should tell them that his own girlfriend forgot about his birthday.

"Nada. Let's train" was all Pablo said being interrupted by Ansu.

"He's acting like his girl forgot his birthday.." he said it was a joke of course knowing the truth and Pablo stopped running his face falling as he nodded.

"She did forget, alright!? You happy cabróns!?" he was angry now not talking to any of them for the rest of the training. The club of course made him a little cake and he faked a smile thanking them of course and letting them take a picture. Maybe when you see it online, you will do something?

Of course you saw the picture, and he looked so cute blowing his little candles but you didn't like or comment just yet. He is meant to come home soon, so you packed your bag with everything you needed for surprise including his present before leaving to meet the guys at the private restaurant you rented for the night.

Aurora and Javi were with you decorating the place when Pablo called her and she giggled telling everyone to be quiet.

"Hola hermanito?" she said listening to him tell her how you forgot about his birthday doing her best not to laugh and blow your cover. It was almost over and you couldn't wait for him to see his surprise.

"She forgot hermana! She didn't even see the picture form Barça account..what if she doesn't love me anymore?" he asked and you heard him since Aurora put him ons speaker. Your heart was breaking that he thought that but you knew he will soon be here with you.

"She's probably just busy hermano..don't overthink it" Aurora said smiling at you while winking and you waited for his response.

"Maybe..I'm gonna go take a nap..bye" he said but Aurora quickly called him back not wanting him to turn off his phone so that you couldn't reach him to make him come here.

"Mamá said she wanted to call you later so keep your ringer on!" Aurora quickly lied and he didn't suspect anything saying that's alright before hanging up.

"That was close one hermanita! What I do for you two lovebirds!" she said and you hugged her making sure she checks when his parents are arriving from Sevilla since she is giving them a ride here.

When they brought his parents, and all the teammates were here you were ready to call Pablo at last looking around to make sure everything is in order.

"Hola?" his voice was groggy signaling that he was indeed sleeping. He also sounded really sad..your poor boy!

"Hola, amor..um my car stopped. Could you give me a ride home please?" you say sending him the location near the restaurant but not exactly.

"Sure..." Pablo sighed before hanging up and you knew that since he wasn't using his usual nicknames for you that he was mad. You told everyone to hide and turn off the light before you left to meet him.

When he arrived, he was wearing simple grey sweatpants and old Barça t-shirt stepping out of his car confused to see you wearing a very formal red dress topped with heavy jewelry. Weren't you at work?

"Where is your car? Why are you dressed up?" he asked and you blush shrugging your shoulders wondering if he will figure out for himself.

"Let me guess, you were having dinner with your friends instead of me tonight..do you even know that it's my birthday!?" he was angry and you burst out in laughter catching him off guard.

"Why are you laughing!?" he said and you hugged him making his arms instinctively reach to hold you but he was still very confused.

"I'm dressed up for your birthday.." you say and he stepped back trying to figure out what the hell is going on.

"I'll explain everything cariño, but first..you should change" you say giving him the bag you had in your hands and he looked into it before looking back at you with big eyes.

"What is this?" he says looking at the fresh outfit you brought and you just told him to trust you taking him to the bathroom to change.

"You look so much better now cariño..although I do love when you wear grey sweatpants" you smirk kissing his lips and he is still unsure holding your hand and following you to the completely dark restaurant.

"Is this a joke amor?" he asked thinking it's closed but at least he was using his nicknames again. You shake your head asking him to be patient while opening the door and suddenly the light turned on and everyone jumped surprising him.

"Díos mio! You didn't forget.." he said with tearful eyes and you smiled moving towards him and snaking your arms around his neck before kissing his softly.

"Of course I didn't forget cariño..I just needed some time to put everything together" you say and he kissed you again hugging you tightly before finally realizing that his parents are there too. He was so sad when they said they needed to stay in Sevilla for his Birthday but you made it possible.

"But..how? You said you couldn't come?" he asked walking to his parents and they both hugged him kissing his head and wishing him a happy birthday.

"Your girl wanted to make it a surprise and we listened" his father said winking at you and you smiled seeing how happy Pablo was right now. He doesn't get to spent a lot of time with family so it means everything when they come for his birthday.

"And all of you cabróns knew!?" he asked walking to his teammates who raised their hands in surrender.

"Who do you think brought the fireworks!?" Pedri smirked giving you a signal and Pablo looked back still very much confused.

"Fireworks?" he asked and you chuckled nodding your head and taking his hand to bring him outside as the fireworks started. You leaned on his shoulder and he smiled kissing your head while you all watched the fireworks. The very last one wrote "HAPPY B-DAY PABLO!" and he pointed looking at it in awe.

"Please tell me someone got a picture of that!" he said and you chuckled.

"Don't you worry hermano!" Aurora said holding her camera and he smiled nodding his head and pulling you into another hug.

"This is truly special amor..thank you so much" he said while pulling you in and kissing your lips lovingly and you smiled.

"I still haven't given you a gift Pablito." you say and he was shocked that there was anything more..he couldn't imagine anything more that all of this.

"There is more?" he says and you chuckle nodding your head and walking inside to bring the bag. You gave it to him and while he opened it Aurora made sure to catch his reaction in a video.

He took out a custom made Barça jersey which on the back had Pablo+Y/n making his smile grow big. He looked at you before walking closer and kissing your lips.

"I know how much you love Barça amor..and I know it's the club of your dreams and this way you can have us both in one place" you say and he giggled nodding his head and kissing your lips while everyone applauded.

"Let me tell you a secret princesa...I love you more than Barça" he whispered into your ear and you blushed as he raising you up in his arms while everyone cheered around you.

"Happy birthday cariño.." you smile when he finally put you down and he kissed your forehead.

"Gracias princesita! Let's celebrate everyone!" he said kissing you as the music started playing and everyone enjoyed the special night with him.

you decline and was just about to go on your merry way when CheChe and Sowoen stands up and walks towards you.

you smile excitedly at the two, "hello!" you were about to ask them what's wrong but Sowoen beats you to it.

"do you want to sit with us? we don't mind, if you're worried about that."

not wanting to waste this opportunity, you grab your things and walk with them-- conversing until you three were seated.

now getting shy, you try to greet the remaining members. "hi, everyone.."

you get joyous replies, making you smile again. you all talk however, you notice a certain someone not talking, and averting her gaze when you catch her looking at you: Bada-- a person whom you have a crush on.

"how'r you, leader of team Bebe?" you ask to try and talk to her, i mean this is a once in a lifetime chance.

snickers from around the table reaches your ear, along with them teasing..?

"yeah, how are you?" Minah says in a joking voice.

Tatter hops in, "why so shy, our leader?"

you see Bada's throat bob up and down, "i'm okay, thanks for asking. how about you?" hushed whispers surround you both but you ignore them. "don't mind them."

"you know, i feel so shy right now..." you sheepishly admit.

she laughs, her eyes disappearing, "don't be, i wanted you to sit with us."

she wanted me to sit with them? heat creeps up on your cheek as you hear more shushed laughter and whistles, you just ignore that and continue your conversation.

just like that, you two are off in your own world. talking and laughing as you both shared common interests, discussing your likes and dislikes-- as if you two were the only one at the table.

the girls take pictures, even videos, of you two enjoying your little date. since your focus was only on Bada, you couldn't really see them making finger hearts and kissy faces behind you-- Bada, on the other hand, could see it all.

the pair of you don't even notice the time, that's how caught up you two were in your bubble. Kyma clears her throat, snapping your gaze to them-- unfortunately, they had to go. "excuse me, lovebirds, we still have practice."

"it was really nice talking to all of you." you voice out.

Lusher smirks, "all of us, huh.."

Bada shushes her and the others bid their goodbyes to you, but Bada stayed.

"can i.. maybe have your number?"

you let out a giggle, "why do you sound unsure?" Bada ogles at you. "of course."

she gives you her phone and you type in your number before bidding her goodbye.

you sit down and realise what just happened and you can't help but squeal.

outside the cafe, you don't see Bada celebrating and the other girls cheering her on.

She really did love him but he was just a tad difficult, just like how Loki used to be, he still was sometimes when he got into his head a bit too much but you always managed to pull him back to you. That's all he needed.

Since that day you could tell he was slightly troubled, you didn't want to snoop around but once he left his phone unattended and through his search history you found out that he was researching about the Norse myths for some reason, you wanted to talk to him about it but you didn't want to accuse him of anything. Things were just starting to get normal, maybe he was just curious, you knew he'd talk to you if he wanted to share this with you.

As Thor stepped out of his room you hugged him and wished him a happy birthday.

"You seem to be in a good mood" you teased him and he chuckled in response.

"Thanks starling. well we just had sex soooo" you gasped and you could tell from Jane's expressions that she wanted to dig a hole beneath the ground and jump in there.

Loki wanted to help in the kitchen but you dragged him out and made him sit down with his brother, they were having a few drinks while they played cards and every time your eyes met with him he smiled at you. There was something about the way he looked at you these days that had got you feeling all warm and giddy, it's not that he didn't treat you tenderly before but it mostly felt one sided, he wanted to soak you in his love but he was afraid of receiving it but since that incident he had been trying to get out of his shell and accept the love you wanted to give him. The question kept bothering him so he asked her about his own family and where they kidnapped him from but she kept saying that he was Laufey's son, the son that Laufey had to give up to please the goddess Freyja. Just to entertain her he asked why did they keep him if he was the enemy's child and Frigga then told him that that's how Odin wanted it, he wanted to keep him like the prize of war so eventually when they all will return to Asgard, Odin could use him as a weapon against Laufey.

Of Course he didn't want to believe in the folklore but then why couldn't he stop thinking about it? Why was he getting so obsessed with the truth about his heritage?

"Let's play truth or dare" Jane said as you both sat down to join them for drinks, you didn't really like whiskey but Thor had vodka so Loki made you a little something to drink.

"Are you like ..four?" Loki asked her and she glared at him. The first time they met each other they both felt zero mutual attraction and it made sense now because he wasn't her type at all, his brother was. And now they had formed this endearing sibling type of relationship that you adored from the distance, only from the distance though because they got too childish sometimes.

"What kind of adult ass four year olds have you been around?" He rolled his eyes as she retorted. You had to use the bathroom so you excused yourself. You were washing your face when you felt someone's hand on your shoulder, it made you yelp and jump on your spot. You truly hated being alone these days

"It's just me..calm down sweetheart..just me yeahh?" he whispered as he pulled you closer, he could feel your heart threatening to burst out of your chest so he placed it hand on your chest and caressed gently.

He asked you so you nodded, the gray t-shirt he had worn was too tight on his body but you weren't complaining, you could feel every inch of rippling muscles underneath the fabric. After a few seconds he pulled you away and took his shirt off to dab the water off your soaked face. Again you weren't complaining at all. Your eyes fell upon the scar the wound had left behind, it was the constant reminder of what had happened but it was also the proof of the insurmountable godly strength your man carried within him.

"You're sooo drunk aren't you?" You giggled and it made him smile.

"I thought you liked the drunk me"

"I love the drunk you and the non drunk you" you grabbed the shirt from his hand and threw it behind you before you stepped closer to him. He stumbled on his feet as he took a step back.

"Feeling wobbly are we?" He noticed the change in the inflection but he wasn't going to fight it today, he had no will to do so. You grabbed his arm and took him back into the room then you sat him down on the bed, he tilted his head and gave you a small smile, pressing him down on the bed you straddled him, the back of his fingers ran over your cheek.

"Like what?"

Yes, she and Maciu eloped with the same wedding party who were in attendance for this "repeat" wedding ( which is a relief ). Taiyang was amongst one of them, in fact he was one of the groomsmen. So why have a "repeat" wedding? It was under the insistence from the Preternatural Syndicate, according to them the resident lovebirds needed to have a bigger celebration. In actuality they really didn't, hence the elopement, but it seemed there were one-too-many hurt feelings on not being part of the selected list of guests.

She doesn't fault her fellow comrades for wanting in on a good time, but the novelty has passed. She just wanted to get this over with, and with Taiyang in solidarity with her, at least she knows there will be someone who can mock such absurdity alongside her. Fortune granted her a favour by allowing her some room to breathe and time to catch Taiyang before the ceremony starts.

As it turns out, GEAR's HQ is situated below an amusement park, and a really fancy one too; if he didn't work here, Ginga definitely couldn't get in just with his allowance. Hokuto says he's exaggerating, but regardless, seeing a child worry about money makes Reika and Hikaru muse about all the children who can't afford to come to amusement parks. Kirakuni steps in to brighten the mood, saying that that's exactly the ideals this park was founded on; so that children would never forget to play and dream... though it doesnt sound very convincing when ginga was just complaining about it being prohibitely expensive

Mizuho, meanwhile, is taking in the sights. You see, she's never been to an amusement park; the colony she grew up on was rather... modest. Megumi stops to think about it, and in the first place, it's rather rare for colonies to have amusement parks at all. and we all know what happened to texas colony

Tonya wonders if that means the poor thing has never gone on an amusement park date, only to find out Mizuho has never gone on a date, period.

Beauty: "Huh!? I don't believe this. Aren't you 18? And you've never been on a date?" Mizuho: "N-no..."

Minato: "I'm appalled... RAUL!" Raul: "Y-yes!?" Minato: "You mean you haven't taken your girlfriend out even once!?" Raul: "What's going on here!? We're not even dating!" Beauty: "Dating or not, when you're hanging out with such a cutie, hitting on her is the polite thing to do!"

Strongarmed into feeling conscious of one another, the two can't help but feel awkward... until Kirakuni swoops in to save the day once more, gifting them a full day free couple's pass to the park! Still awkward, but even more unwilling to let a gift go to waste (even if they didn't ask for it), they reluctantly set out on the arranged date.

Witz is frustrated that it took all that work to get Raul to ask Mizuho out, as he feels a man ought to be able to do that on his own, but Tonya thinks all's well that ends well, especially when it comes to such inexperienced lovebirds.

Speaking of lovebirds, Captain Misumaru gets right to work on asking Kirakuni if there's any couple's passes remaining. It'd be a real waste to not get to spend this opportunity on a wonderful amusement park date with her beloved Akito! Regardless of his own wishes, of course!

Not too far away, yet very far-removed from all this heart-pounding romantic action, Raj is deep in thought, staring at a poster. Something about a "Mazinger Parade"? That's right, the Photonic Power Labs and the Science Fortress Lab are collaborating to have a little parade with their respective Mazinger teams. Most would be excited to see the Mazingers up close, or to meet celebrities like Koji or Tetsuya, but we all know Raj well enough by now to be able to tell that what he really wants is a peek at the functioning of Photonic Energy. Beauty wonders aloud why he thinks they'd show it off at an event aimed at the general public, but Raj either doesn't hear her or chooses to ignore her.

Go, meanwhile, is more befuddled by the concept of the parade in the first place. With the current state of affairs in... well, the entire Earth Sphere, is this really the time? But Kirakuni posits that it's exactly because of the state of affairs that this is important. Sure enough, at least the public seems to agree, as everything's sold out already... but Go just chalks that up to most people having more free time than common sense.

Speaking of more free time than common sense, Sho barges in; Go has been skipping training! He gets an earful and is promptly dragged away by his ear like he's Brock or something.

In the middle of all this... liveliness, Banjo has a sour expression. Hokuto asks him if anything's wrong, but he just asks Kirakuni for details on some of the people staffing the event. In particular, the master of ceremonies will be Edwin, a magician who works for the company that facilitated the parade in the first place.

Director Shibuya holds a video call with Kenzo Kabuto, the man in charge of the Science Fortress. It seems like this parade is also an excuse to transfer the Mazinger pilots into GEAR's forces, which is pretty smart; raise public morale and at the same time disguise your tactical maneuvers. Not bad!

Meanwhile, deep underground, at the heart of the Mycenae Empire, The Great General of Darkness (above) curses Tetsuya and the Great Mazinger, taking it as a personal insult that they'd dare hold a parade while in battle with his great empire. But his superior, the Emperor of Darkness, tells him to look at things more rationally. A parade is a great opportunity; with all the civilians around, the Great Mazinger is basically handing them chances to catch it with its guard down. Now properly motivated, the General sets off with his Mycenaean Combat Beasts and some refurbished Mechabeasts stolen from the late Dr. Hell, who once terrorized Japan until he was struck down by Koji Kabuto's Mazinger Z.

Boy: "Dad, is THE Great Mazinger really coming?" Girl: "I want to see the Venus A!"

In a completely trustworthy tone, the magician Edwin gets excited about making all these children's dreams come true... and his own.

Watching from afar, Banjo says that sure enough, it really is Edwin. Garrison muses that Banjo must be feeling nostalgic...

Backstage, Edwin talks to his true master; Koros, the Meganoid who is the de facto second in command. She commends him for his devilish plan; should all go correctly, he'll have many children to turn into meganoid soldiers, and maybe even get a chance at stealing a Mazinger for them to study. But he has to be careful; Banjo Haran, the Meganoids' greatest foe, is back on Earth. Edwin talks big about easily making short work of him, and wonders how they should execute him once he's caught, but Koros seems uninterested in the conversation; such things can be discussed when (and IF) Banjo's properly captured...

Back to the lovebirds' little impromptu date, they're looking out at an observatory, seeing the horizon line. Not being used to the Earth, this is actually Raul's first time seeing it. He thinks he's been to Earth before, but if he did, he was too young to remember much.

They bond a bit over not being used to the Earth, with Mizuho bringing up that when she was little, she visited once and the ocean made her feel sick just from the smell! Apparently it's a rather common occurrence due to how sanitized the air on the colonies is. Mizuho opens up that, for a long time, she felt a bit of prejudice against the Earthborn, but hanging out with so many of them since the time travelling incident, she's come to realize they're just like her. Raul can relate to this somewhat; he's been really taken aback by how steadfast everyone here is in their convictions. They all face down terrible odds, but they continue to strive to protect the world around them... This really inspires Mizuho, who gets all fired up all of a sudden; she wants to be able to tackle her future like that, too! Raul's a bit surprised to see her so motivated all on her own, but it seems he's happy for her, as they walk off to ride the ferris wheel next.

On their way back from the amusement park, they run into Yurika, alongside Akito's remains. She excitedly asks if the pair tried the Mach Coaster Twister 9, stressing how unmatched the feeling of reaching Mach speeds in the flesh is. Akito, with whatever strength remains in him, tries his best to express that... it wasn't as fun for him.

Akito: "People... weren't made... to reach mach speeds... urgh..."

Needless to say, Raul and Mizuho decide not to ride the Mach Coaster Twister 9.

Banjo: "..." Kirakuni: "Oh, Banjo. Everything good? Planning on giving someone that bouquet?" Banjo: "Sadly, the bouquet's recipient is... long dead. Kirakuni, cancel the parade right now." Kirakuni: "Wh-what are you saying? It only just began!"

Valentine's Billdip Fluff

Just a little bit of fluff with our good old ship <3 Happy Valentine's day to anyone who celebrates! Have a great day everyone.

Tonight was lovely, for all the right reasons. The air was lovely, just the right amount of wind to ensure it wasn’t hot, but it wasn’t cold either. The sun was rapidly coming down and forming into a beautiful sunset across the water. Today, Valentine’s day, the couple had gone to the lovely area of their nearby beach. It had been a bit of a trek, and they would be having a hotel room because of their long trek, but that had only been an excuse to be able to do anything they wanted for an evening. 

The demon had planned the entire thing, he hadn’t allowed his little partner to do anything. It had annoyed Dipper to no end, due to him wanting to do something for the demon, but alas. Now though, they were driving up to the beach, which only made the human twice as excited as he had been earlier. 

For the most part, they had been driving all day, but they had stopped in parks, a small little cafe and a small toilet on the way to the ‘end of the day’. Bill assured the brunette that there would be more after the beach. That was because he planned to have a romantic dinner in a five star restaurant after their time at the beach. He hadn’t been there yet to prepare, but had paid extra for them to do it for him. 

The two lovebirds hadn’t separated all day, and that was just how the two enjoyed their lovely time together. Speaking of though, Bill parked their car and looked over to the brunette who was trying to get a good look of the beach from their car. Bill grinned at this.

“Are you ready Pinetree?” Bill asked, tilting his head slightly in a playful manner. Dipper scoffed and lightly punched the demon in the shoulder and opened the car door. “Stop being so teasing, Bill, or I’ll ignore you on this walk!” He told the demon. Bill grumpily got out the car and locked it as soon as both doors were closed. They didn’t need to grab anything from the car, because Bill’s magic should be enough to make the experience wonderful.

The two began walking down onto the beach without much fuss. The sound of the beach was enchanting, and it encouraged them both to relax in one another’s presence. Dipper turned over to Bill who was only grinning like a fool as he moved over to the middle of the beach. 

Dipper followed his lead as the two comfortingly walked in mostly silence towards their ‘destination’. The brunette had no idea where it was, but he was for sure excited for what was to come for the couple. Bill continued walking, and made small talk with his lover.
