Ok so there’s an in universe 15 year break between stormlight 5&6 right? Well I think dalinars gonna LOSE the contest of champions and go to like braize or something (idk if that’s what will happen but I don’t feel like coppermind searching right now) anyway like 15ish years later he finds a way out like Taln did maybe with the help of one of the dead heralds (because Chana is shallans mom theory is such a good theory. Why haven’t we seen her when we’ve seen all the other heralds) but we have to emphasize that neither broke. and the prologue for the next 5 books are dalinars return in different characters perspectives because it’s a big moment.

If he got imprisoned on braize it would be bad. The Stormfather would possibly become a deadeyes? If he became deadeyes would it stop highstorms so than the everstorm is the storm? I don’t know. Im kinda spitballing all of this.

Anyways they need to release Ba-Ado-Mishram according to Kalak (the herald who wrote it in his journal that its something that needs to happen for not only Ba-Ado-Mishram but also Roshar as a whole) who was one of the unmade and was involved with the false desolation somehow and turned singers into fused but then she got imprisoned and her imprisonment like got rid of the singers connection and identity and they were the parshmen and it’s also the reason that there is deadeyed spren (thank you coppermind because this is something I didn’t know really).

Also the ghostbloods are looking for her gemstone to set her free maybe as a way to get the investure off roshar as that is kind of their main motive (or at least of their rosharian actions)

So basically maybe Ba-Ado-Mishram is somewhere on Braize and Dalinar finds a way to set her free and with that he comes back to Roshar. (i just looked at the coppermind and it said something about that if dalinar won odium would return alekthar and herdaz to them and if odium won dalinar would serve his interests in the cosmere as a fused whatever tf that means i dont know.)

things that if they happened in stormlight 5 id cry: dalinar is his champion, adolin goes no i cant let you do that and he takes over, its a fight to the death after all but adolin is the best non-magically enhanced swordsman in roshar. During the events of the fight adolin loses and dies. OR OR OR he seems to be losing and then he goes like maya i could really use some help here and then he gets the part of the radiant bond thats like fighting enhancement and also quick shardblade summoning but not the edgedancer slipperyness or healing of others. He wins the fight (yay!) but something happens, dalinar gets sent to braize or something im not sure.

All i know is this book is not going to solidly take place in the 10 days that the contest of champions allots for its statisitically impossible as there is so much stuff that has to happen that we're certain about will happen. Plus shallan and adolin are still in shadesmar.

Additional things: we don’t know who the interlude chapters person is. What if it’s Moash and his journey to become a dustbringer because dustbringer Moash is such a freaking beautiful thing and it would also make the Reddit fans so mad lmao

Another additional thing: where does kelsier fit into this? He was in the prologue blah blah blah. He finds a way to get off scadriels cognitive realm (something something in tlm) and he’s now in Shadesmar and idk maybe he’s fighting against odium in some way. Harmony may be aware of his actions. He may not idk but Marsh is and Marsh also relays stuff to Harmony so yeah. Kelsier knows that Odium is bad and he wants to punch a god. So he punches odium at some point. That’s kind of it there I don’t have anything to go with that. It just feels right.

Now with the road trip: Szeth realizes how fucked up shinovar is, its destroyed from the everstorm, theres chaos everywhere blah blah blah, he finds the honorblades, he does what he wanted to do. i dont know WHAT exactly he did want to do but it was something. him and kaladin trauma bond. its not a great time. Szeth cries. His sister is dead i dont care what anyone says his sister gave off im gonna die by szeths hands with the honorblade and thats one of the reasons he gets kicked out of shinovar. she gives me dead vibes in that chapter. We also learn why hes truthless, maybe he had a honorspren who was kind of following him idk. The death rattle of "a man stood on a cliffside and watched his homeland fall into dust. the waters surged beneath, so far beneath. and he heard a child crying. they were his own tears." is true somehow.

Brandon said more lgbt characters are canonized in this book: aroace kal canonization or bi adolin BOOK canonization perhaps maybe? i know renarin will which means he will also have more povs. and more povs=more visions=more people out of odiums sight?

Hey! Indian reader here again, I'm glad you're having a great time here!!

I remember going to Agra on a trip a couple years back. Taj Mehl was amazing to see. And the history behind it is quite interesting. It was supposed to be a gift from the King of Agra to his queen though I don't remember much of the history. One part I do remember (though it's very gruesome yet romantic in a weird way) is that the king ordered that the hands of all the artisans and anyone who worked on the site would be cut off so that they wouldn't be able to create something like the palace again 😭

One tip I have is that you make sure you're not overpaying for the stuff you buy here, considering people WILL overcharge you when they realize you're a tourist. And to wear clothing which covers you up in public because short clothes are usually looked down upon here and for your own safety too depending on where you are 💔

Other than that I also recommend buying spices to take back with you if you're into spicy food!! Indian spices are extremely flavorful and vast in variety but quite expensive in other countries

Hey!! I just got back! It was an amazing trip! Your country is so beautiful. The air quality in some cities was tearing my allergies up but other than that and trying to cross the street when there isnt a traffic light in sight, I had such a great time! I never thought I could be a vegetarian but so much good non meat curries and other options there. I liked Indian food before going but loved all the new dishes I tried too! Although I don't think I will ever find a Dal Makhani or Chana Masala as good as I did at The 1944 Hocco Kitchen in Ahmedabad here in the states. I didn't even like the Dal I had on the trip up until that point it was so rich, smooth and buttery (they cooked theirs for 36hrs). Also getting to try traditional Gujarati cuisine was awesome!

The Dhokla was so good with the chutneys they'd give us as snacks. Plus I thought Japan had the best service, India takes it to a new level! I never been to restaurants where waiters are literally sprinting to your table to make sure you dont serve yourself. I only wanted a bit more curry once but I felt so bad this waiter almost tripped rushing over to me I let him put on two more scoops! Also feels like I'm back home and my grandma is making my plates cause if they see a dish nearly done and that you finished yours they will just scoop the rest into your plate. Even the fast food places (omg the paneer burger and aloo tiki burger at mcdonalds and butter chicken chalupa at taco bell were to DIE for) were far superior to what we have here and they have much more sustainable practices. I swear I gained 5lbs from all the food lmfao!! I'm used to eating either one meal or two small ones a day and my program was feeding us 3 full meals so I had to skip some at times LOL it was too much food!!

The traffic is WILD in India but its so cool to see. I don't think I would ever get used to crossing the street without feeling like I was gonna die though lmfaooo. Also omg being able to Uber a Tuk Tuk was awesome! Although there was a few times me and my friends thought we would see the pearly gates lmfaoooo. I heard that about the Taj artisans too! The tour guide we had was so knowledgable (he was a former pharmacist who went back to school to learn medival indian history as he wanted to be a tour guide instead). He told us it was because after his favored wife died (I think he said it was because she was the only one to give him children successfully) he lost his mind a bit and was locked away by one of his sons after building the Taj (Very sad too as all his sons fought and all but one survived to take over the throne). Oh yes, haha our tour consultant who travelled with us the entire time would haggle for us if we wanted something. He would actually give us a range then tell us to walk down the block then he would start haggling lol. Loved him so much, he really looked out for us!

But omg yeah I noticed that people dress pretty modestly which is wild to me considering how hot it is there but they are used to it but I was dying haha. It was 100 degrees and people were in jackets and jean pants lol. Thankfully I brought long cotton and linen dresses and skirts and was able to buy some flowly loose linen pants and brought lots of electrolyte packets. But even in the hotel (we stayed at the 5 star Hyatt Regency in Ahemedabad) that was pretty internationally catered (omg the best pasta outside of italy I swear I was so surprised haha) there were Indian men intensely staring at me and my friend wearing tight leggings to breakfast even though they came down to our ankles and we had a long sleeve shirt on too. I got on the elevator to run back up to my room for something I forgot and these guys on the elevator were so creepy. They didnt say anything but I could feel them glaring down my back. I'm glad we knew better than to wear them outside but I thought it be okay just in the hotel. That didn't sour my experience though I did meet a lot of very nice and respectful Indian men as well. Two of them (who were pretty cute tbh) helped me with my luggage on the elevator as I was leaving since I had to buy an entire new luggage for all the stuff I bought lol. Yes!! While in Delhi we went to the spice market. We took a cycle rickshaw there. We went to a tourist spice shop there though cause they seal it up well for travel and actually have premixed spice packets you can buy which makes it easier (although im sure much more expensive). I bought a ton of spices and teas haha spent like 20k rupees there lmfaooo. Mostly went so ham there cause my mom used to live in India (her 3rd husband was Indian) and she wanted me to bring her back alot of teas and spices. I got her like 4 different kinds of chai. I'm kinda sad we left right before Holi!!!! I always wanted to experience Holi!!! But since its today (or yesterday lol) and today is the first day of classes back our school had to make sure we were back for classes.

i think skyler did a fantastic job. i think a lot of his mannerisms were on point (including in his singing!), and he was at the same time different enough from and similar enough to santino to make his portrayal compelling. i love the idea behind the actor swap and i think it was done amazingly well. would i have cried tears of joy had santino showed up that episode instead of skyler? absolutely. was it very hard for me to come to terms with? definitely. do i still see greg in my head as santino? always. but.

goat kefir, broccoli, spirulina, almonds, green juice, almond butter, coconut cream, barleans omega swirl (the fish one and the flax one), protein shake, wild fish, grass fed meat, avocado, grass fed butter, free range eggs, acai, mixed nuts sans peanuts, curry (nihari, chana masala, haleem, saag, etc) biriyani, quinoa, vitamineral green, blue green algae, chlorella, lots of spirulina, sometimes potatoes, beef bacon, sometimes sourdough bread (cracked wheat), sometimes pizza (with a lot of herbs) or garlic naan. sometimes macaroni and cheese. i avoid most carbs, some are needed but my body hates them. i also don't really eat any sugar at all, if i do its like a tangerine, a strawberry or some watermelon. i really love japanese and desi cuisine.

i never drink alcohol. i stopped being vegan in like 2019 and started eating meat in 2020. i dont eat pork or octopus. i only cook with avocado oil or butter (important) i avoid canola oil and other vegetable oils. i will use olive oil, but don’t cook with it.  if i eat something fried, i limit to once a week. i dont do popcorn or certain fish high in omega 6. (i really avoid anything high in omega 6) i avoid highly processed foods, AGES, anything high GI, most bread, trans fats, artifical colors or flavors, processed soy products like tofu, soy protein, etc.

i should note that i eat this way because my body wants me to. it has nothing to with vanity even though being this careful does have a lot of benefits in that department. if it had no affect on aging or looks i would still 100% adhere to this diet. Also, I have to eat an excess of calories to support my metabolism, which is not good for most people and will shorten lifespan for most people. Being in a slight caloric deficit is ideal for longevity. If I could eat less calories and not be underweight, i definitely would restrict more and fast often. That being said, healthy fats have benefits and should be included whether you are trying to gain, maintain, or lose weight.

Now, let me start with the usual height difference between you both; I'm sorry but you look like a dwarf standing next to your 293 cm boyfriend.

Like, an absolute DWARF. (Why is he so tall god dammit)

It's embarrassing but, he first met you when he stumbled down the stairs trying to deliver paperwork to Sengoku's office ─ you were coincidentally trying to go up the stairs so Rosinante ended up kissing your shoes.

If one were to ask 10 year old Rosinante where he would see himself 10 years in the future, the answer was probably going to be something he always wanted to do; "helping people" and NOT tripping down the stairs ─ face planting and possibly kissing someone's shoes right now.

"A-Am i dead..? Am i in heaven?" He mumbled groggily, looking up to see a blurry pale figure with dark hair, "Are you an angel...? P-Pretty ...Pretty angel" The words seemed to slip out of his mouth unconsciously, but it still made you blush.

You cleared your throat, blush still visibly apparent in your cheeks, and you handed out a hand for the stranger to take, "Are you okay? Here get up"

The stranger seemed to snap out of whatever daze they were in, finally processing what just happened.

His lips pursing, he stared at your hand ─ and stared at you ─ and back at your hand ─ and then back at you; you stare at him back.

His face visibly flushed, he opened and closed his mouth repeatedly; before deciding to close it and avert his gaze to the floor that seems oh so interesting now.

"I..Uh....Are you gonna get up? You looked like you were in a hurry" You spoke out; voice so gentle yet it was clear that you held alot of confidence.

The stranger finally deciding that the floor wasn't interesting after all, looked up at you with soft hazel brown eyes, and accepted your hand.

You pulled him up; startling him as if he didn't expect to get pulled up, and he stumbled yet again ─ but this time, he was stumbling forward.

Towards you.

You immediately wrapped your arms around his torso, stopping him from falling down again and possibly bringing you down with him.

To others, it looked like sexual harassment but honestly, the stranger just seems to be really clumsy.

Your whole body was dwarfed by his unusually tall, freaky height, making it a challenge to keep him stable but you did it anyways.

"Whoa! You okay?" A chuckle escapes your lips, "You're really clumsy"

The man flushes at your comment and nods hastily, and stands up as you unwrap your arms in his torso.

You got a good look at the man, he was tall. Like TALL tall, perhaps even more than 250 cm? You couldn't tell.

The man wore a white, short-sleeved shirt emblazoned with the Marine emblem; a simplified gull with the word "MARINE" underneath it, on the back; a blue neckerchief; dark blue trousers and above his shoulders wore a coat, "Justice" on the back. He wore the coat like it tends to be worn like a cape, draped over the shoulders with the arms not in the sleeves; indicating that he was indeed, an ensign.

His unruly blond hair seemed to go towards every direction, making it (if not) tangled.

The man finally spoke out, "Y-Yeah sorry about that.." his voice was a bit deep and husky.

"It's fine, you looked like you were in a rush" You answered kindly, crouching to gather his scattered papers he dropped.

He seemed to notice this and started to panick; arms flailing around.

"W-Wait! It's okay I can pick it up!" He sheepishly spoke out, finally taking a look at you and panicking more as he saw that you were a Rear-Admiral.

"No, No it's fine." As he was about to stop you, you were already done gathering the scattered papers, handing it to him with a smile.

"You're in a rush, aren't you? I understand, i also tend to get a bit clumsy and panicky when i wasnt in time." You chuckled.

"Y-Yeah! Thank you ...once again" He took the papers from you, and bowed.

Uhhhh something something Adolin and Maya. I want to see her restored to not being a deadeye but not being a full spren either. Like enough that she can come as a Shardblade instantly but Adolin doesn’t have the full range of Edgedancer abilities that he would get.

On Adolin I think that in the timeskip him and Shallan will have kids. We saw it in the hope of elantris and again with Steris and Wax. Brandon likes it when couples have kids. Plus I think it’ll be interesting to see the different hair colors and whatnot.

Also on that note I feel that Adolin would be a great parent as his weren’t the best. Especially for Renarin. And since his parents weren’t the best parents and Shallans are dead he’s probably end up going to Hesina for parental advice. I think she’d be quite excited to help him out.

Also Kaladin and Aesudan are related through Hesina and I want to know more on that. (One of her parents is a lighteyes or something?)

Additionally. I think that Szeth and Kaladins road trip is going to get cut short by the 10 days timeline thing. I keep going back and forth on this. She realised her father didnt love her as much he did her sister the day she turned 13.

It always been about Noelle, she mused, watching him hug her older twin sister. Noelle, the straight A student. Noelle, the absolute sweetheart. Noelle, his perfect daughter.

Wasn't that funny, she thought, that depite marrying a creative woman named Aspen and having a creative daughter, he adored the logical one of his children. 

Chana knew Sebastian loved Aspen, it would be impossible to say otherwise, but she didn't think he loved her as much.

In fact, she knew he didn't.

Chana started wearing brown contacts the day after she turned 14.

She was the only one with black hair and blue eyes like her father and she hated it. 

Sebastian hated it but who cared what he thought. It wasn't coming out of his money.

Maven had taken one look and accepted it. But that was Maven for you.

Maven and she bought a box of hair dye and sequestered themselves in Maven’s bathroom.

“Only because you provoked me,” then, after a few moments, “and don’t call me a nerd!” was added.

“Isn't that what you are, though?” Maven chipped in with her two cents.

“Screw you.”

“You couldn't land me even if you tried, darling,” Maven retorted with a toss of her head, pointedly ignoring her best friend’s hysterical laughter.

“She’d have to be Cassandra Goth to do that,” Chana managed to get out through her laughter.

“Chana, I have something to tell you.”

“What is it, mom?” the girl finished tying her newly purple hair into pigtails and faced her mother.

“Well, you know how your father and I were talking about having another child a few months ago?”

“Yeah...” Chana thought she knew where this was going.

“I’m pregnant,” Aspen said, patting her stomach meaningfully with a smile on her face.

“Congratulations, mom!” Chana got up from the bar stool and hugged her.

“Thank you, dear.”

“I dont think dad likes me that much, “ Vera, her sweet little sister revealed to her one night when they were both down in the basement.

“I think he feels the same about me to be honest, kiddo,” Chana rested her head on the palm of her hand.

“I mean, I love him. But...”

“Yeah, I feel you.”

Now, despite her attitude most of the time, Chana didn't hate her sister. Not that much at least. 

That changed when she saw Noelle making out with her girlfriend.

What followed were two fights in quick succession, a telling off from her father and a break up with her girlfriend.

“We’re adults now,” Maven said, as if she couldn't quite believe it.

“And you’re dating Jace Bell. That’s something I would never have thought possible.”

“Don’t remind me...”

“Hey, Chana?” 

The girl turned around in her swivel chair to face her now teenaged little sister. “Yeah, kiddo?”

“Can I tell you something?” Vera asked, walking in and perching on the edge of the bed.

“Shoot.”

“Okay, so you know how I had a crush on Lucas when I was a kid and he returned it and we were best friends but we also hugged a lot more than normal best friends? Well...he asked me over to his house and I didn't expect anything but then he asked me to be his girlfriend.”

“What did you say?”

“I...I said yes,” Vera admitted.

“Good for you, kiddo! I hope your love life is more stable than mine.”

Chana sighed, looking around at the many cardboard boxes that filled the apartment. 

It wasn't that big but it was hers. Hers to decorate, hers to live in.

She sank to the floor and smiled. 

Things were looking up.
