GONCHAROV'S RETURN SUCKED

It shouldn't even qualify as a sequel. With the exception of Abe Vigoda, it has none of the original cast; Zemeckis had no business trying to make a slasher film; Ice Pick Joe shouting like he's the fucking Hulk just ripped me out of a movie I was already falling asleep through; the scene with the goat was TOTALLY FUCKING UNNECESSARY; and they put the only cute character in the whole thing IN A DAMN OLIVE PRESS! 🤬

Listen, I think the Boys should end with a powerless Homelander and an exhausted Billy having the world’s worst fight and by that I mean the most pathetic - they’re rolling around in the dirt, Homelander slaps Billy, Billy has Homelander in a chokehold, there’s hair pulling and name calling and it’s completely undignafied until someone separates them but I also think that would be the perfect ending to such a build-up to their dynamic.

Looking at Wish, I just keep thinking of the people who called Frozen a 'lazy movie' because they used really similar face shapes for Anna, Elsa and their mother.

Look at the ice and snow effects in that movie. Listen to the music. Enjoy the comedy. Remember that it isn't even close to the beauty of Disney's best and yet it still remains a work of art.

Now look at Wish as the monkey's paw curls. Hey- at least they use different face shapes.

I just like the fact that Simon apparently has about a million of the exact same polaroid of Betty smiling at the camera. so angry at people who see a new horror movie come out and say "oh this is bad" LIKE YEAH OF COURSE IT IS. horror movies have always ALWAYS been considered as bad movies. b movies. trash movies. cheap. just because they've become a little more mainstream now doesn't change anything. get off your high horse and watch horror in the basement with your friends again because that's how horror is meant to be taken in. it's not made for big screens and critics. they have always hated horror. learn your goddamn history and realise that horror should be cheap, b, trash, bad, to be enjoyable. horror movies are GREAT. i LOVE them. don't write fucking new york times thinkpieces about them. horror can't be blockbusters like you want them to be. horror is made with cheap passionate love. go back to ignoring horror movies instead of lining them up to marvel and romcoms and action. it's not the same thing. it's always been considered to be less than. let it fucking be
