Cybernetic enhancements, known colloquially as Synthware, are very commonplace among the youth in the Great States. One of the most common are Emotion Displays, Emotis for short. Though widescale used to immerse oneself in VR or in phones to cater to your feelings, some have taken to rewiring Emotis to fit other causes. One such case of this belongs to an anonymous hacker known only as ‘Starter’.

Starter, with the help of a trusted doc, merged the Emoti with an External Neural Port. An ENP’s purpose is to read neural wavelengths and transmit them into electrical pulses to power devices. Starter wired her Emoti to work with the ENP to display Starter’s emotions via preset emoticons on her self-made mask. This is a case of synthware that isn’t unheard of, but is uncommon due to it’s lack of practical use. Starter however views this as an anti-social loner’s dream... to be able to hide in the public’s eye and still conform enough to be accepted. She rarely finds herself without the mask in their day-to-day life, now unable to separate herself from it in their own mind. They purposefully keep their life from before the mask as secretive as possible, going as far as to manually delete or hide any trace of it she could reach. With her anonymity, Starter took to a career of cyber-vigilantism, using their computer prowess to become a modern day Robin Hood. Their work eventually got her noticed by The Lucky Stars, where they work under to this day. They do mostly the same as before, now with a more... targeted focus.

Ok so do to it being sensitive information and such I can not share everything just putting that out there now. Basically, I am a corporate lawyer, which means I work with companies to ensure any transactions or deals they make or proceed with is legal and won't come back to bite them in the ass later. That being said, NOWHERE IN MY JOB DESCRIPTION DOES IT SAY I AM A THERAPIST. AND YET!!😭 I was working with company "A" let's just say, and the guy that handles their financial everything essentially is talking to me telling me that he SUSPECTS his wife is cheeting on him and how he wishes he was in AND I QUOTE: "midevil times or something where I could just get a new wife when this one decides she wants to be a whore." 💀 What. I couldn't even look him in the eyes anymore I was so speechless. And then because YAMQN haunts me I started laughing thinking about Tae and Oc. He then thought I was laughing at his "joke" and joined my laughter then started asking if he should divorce her or not. LIKE SIR I AM NOT A MARRIAGE LAWYER! OR A THERAPIST! You would not believe the shit I have to listen to with some of the people I deal with. I finally had to tell him that he should "find another lawyer for personal affairs" and that I was "sorry he is questioning his wife's loyalty." Tbh I don't remember how I said that last part but like he said, he SUSPECTED she was cheeting, he had no proof. This is also coming from a guy who has not wedding ring on anytime I see him, and makes suggestive comments to the very nice, pretty, and you get than me secretary when she leads me to his office. If it was in my power to do so... Jail. I can't really go more in depth, but yeah REALLY needed to get that off my chest. Also disclaimer, I am in no way saying that this asshole reminds me of Tae's character, the cheeting wife and "MidEVil TimEs" part did. God I will never work with that company again if I have to see his face again. I hope that girl stays safe and that his wife who clearly married an ass divorce's him herself. Anyway fun work stories yay!🙄

GOD this oc brings back memories, I used to rp a lot on my old blog and she was one of my main muses, I lost contact with the person I used to rp the most with after I dropped my old account and made this new one, we had a whole storyline going involving her and Envi, and i’d like to re-connect with them at some point if ever possible ^u^; She’s been through a big redesign since then however, and I’m glad to finally be showing it off!

Yes I do! I’ve got one for each, and they’re... very different from each other bdfhs (throwing their info under the readmore)

Some spoilers for both of these storylines, as well as some expansion stuff.

My Sith Inquisitor is Jareff Tuun, a Human Man. Jareff’s had it rough, starting with the fact that he was not only born into slavery, but one of his earliest memories is of his father being executed by the Imperial Overseer in charge for attempting to start a slave revolt. His mother was taken from the camp and sent to Korriban for Sith Training once it was discovered she was Force Sensitive, but this proved to also be a death sentence, since she didn’t even survive her first month there.

Jareff was raised by his maternal grandfather, who was not FS, but upon discovering Jareff was, he urged the young boy to keep it a secret and refrain from nurturing it. Jareff listened at first, but eventually began using his abilities to keep the other slaves at bay, especially as his grandfather got older. However, one night, his grandfather was murdered by guards who had wanted to get their kicks from beating up an old man. All of Jareff’s fury manifested at once, and left desolation in its wake until he was captured and sent to Korriban for training.

Unlike his mother, he survived. More than that, he learned to thrive, becoming Darth Nox against all odds. He was Ruthless, Bloodthirsty, Sadistic, basically everything you’d think a Sith would be. This has... changed somewhat in more recent times. The more time he spent on the Dark Council, the less impulsively cruel he became, and a more mature Jareff began to take form. And after everything that happened with the Revanites and the Emperor (one large factor being meeting a Republic Privateer who he would come to respect and work well with), his worldview slowly began to shift, culminating in him mellowing out somewhat (as much as someone like him can).

He will be the first to suggest murder, mayhem, and torture, but if the others are against it, he’ll actually respect that. His temper is still something to be feared, and he is fiercely protective of his Alliance and its people, but he is... not benevolent, but certainly not the Sith who clawed his way up through the ranks, seizing his power with bared teeth and bloody claws.

And now, for something completely different

My Jedi Consular is Nyra Cheet, a Miraluka Woman. She was born on a Republic colony that was being ravaged by a horrible plague. Her parents were both taken by the sickness, and she was instead raised by the various medics and Jedi that had been assigned to keep the sickness under control. She showed her aptitude for the Force at a very young age, showcasing powers and abilities that even shocked the most experienced of the Jedi present. She was taught to control her abilities by both the Jedi and the handful of other Miraluka that the plague had yet to take.

While her healing skills were certainly impressive, her ability to enhance her combat skills and general disposition towards helping the Jedi defeat the Sith were what truly caught the eye of her masters, and when she joined the Jedi Order, they knew she was likely to become one of the greatest Jedi to live.

Nyra herself is, like many Miraluka, thoughtful and cautious, but due to her upbringing and the general, constant praise of her powers, she is also somewhat aloof towards matters and people not dealing with the Force. This has lead her own attachment to the Force to be neither light nor dark, but more neutral in nature. However, as she began to encounter more and more of the galaxy, even igniting a semi-romance with Major Motra Kanu of Havoc Squad, she began to become more grounded, her neutrality becoming more of worldly thing as opposed to an accidental thing.

She helped during the Rishi/Yavin 4 situations during the Revanite incidents, and during the five years after the disappearance of Darth Nox and Privateer Captain Myriad Carr (reported dead, but the claim was highly disputed), she primarily served as a healer for the forces who fought against Arcann and his Eternal Empire. Sensing something more at work, when she was told of an Alliance formed by the two to fight against the Eternal Empire, she was among the first to arrive. She would soon re-ignite the romance between her and Major Kanu once he, too, arrived.

🌲 How deeply does my OC feel?

Amix / Mia feels with everything she has. She is deeply empathetic, but careful. She would give everything for the people she loves, her heart and soul. And even though she has been emotionally damaged, I feel like it only made her value feelings like love and devotion even more. Her broken heart makes her emotions stronger and since she had experienced trauma herself and seen it in others alike, she knows how important it is to love and heal with words of comfort. So she does just that. Talk and reassure in her own ways!

🍂 Does my OC like hugs? How do they show affection?

My girl LOVES hugs and cheek kisses and gentle touch! She finds comfort in the arms of another person and sees her own hugs as the best way to cheet her friends and family up! My girl lives for cuddles!
